Oh my god, that razor sound made me twist around my chair to get away. :C (but then the earphones stayed connected so it was like he was.. following me.)

It was astonishing, though. O: I could imagine someone washing their hands to the side and the shouting to people in another room.

The only auditory illusion I know of is the one that is a beeping noise that appears to get higher and higher pitched, which is obviously impossible for it to do.

That was really, really cool! the matchbox one made me start seeing things. I keep thinking that there was a matchbox floating around my head. The haircut feel like I was really there. The Woman's voice was weird too. They were all crazy!

I find it very amazing that they can trick almost all your senses! When I heard the sounds of something cutting my hair I actually had to touch my hair to feel if it was still there because I swore it was cut off xD

It was freakishly real... I kept having to open my eyes because the idea of a floating matchbox kept making me think that I was going to get lit on fire. I kept trying to extinguish my hair after the match lit. Hah.

It was very realistic, I can even imagine how they recorded it.

I got my roommate to do it too. She had it so loud on the headphones that I could hear what was going on too. She laughed and flinched at the razor part and jumped when the guy whispered. I'm gonna see if I can get the other girls in my hall to do it too xD

@Lovvy: I think the fact that you couldn't get away from the razor made it scary! No matter how much I ducked my head the razor still sounded strong and loud xP

@Uzura: Cool, I wonder what reactions they will have to it! I made my sister listen to this and she actually acted a lot calmer than I did even though I am older. She didn't flinch at any parts and the most she did was nervously move her hands around. It made me feel very over-dramatic about the virtual haircut.

OH! They did that once as Disneyland... it was pretty convincing! @[email protected]

I found myself shuttering a little because the sounds were tickling me. And I was sitting here holding the headphones to my ears, giggling as Luigi was cutting my virtual hair. Oh man. I seriously thought that there was a bag over my head. <_<; That was crazy... I think I'll do it again! >w<

The second time I listened to the barbershop skit, I took my headphones off and turned them around, so my left and right were switched halfway through. It completely tripped me out! x3

I have an aversion to people touching my lower back so when the matchbox was traveling up and down, I was flinching just like I would if someone were actually threatening my exposed back. I wanted to scootch back against the wall, my ears were so confused by it.
I also went to the website, and there's the sound of a phone ringing which sounds EXACTLY LIKE OUR PHONE, and I jumped to my feet and was about to run to answer it when I realized that it was another trick! It reminds me of when there's a police siren sound in a song I'm listening to while driving, and I look in the mirror guiltily even when I know its part of the song. x3

Bizarre, bizarre... I could vaguely hear traffic and the wind from outside and I couldn't tell if it was real or virtual! Thanks for sharing that!

@mesic: O, you switched the headphones? I might try that too I bet it will sound awesome xD
My ears also felt very confused by this. In the very beginning when the door opened and closed in the barbershop I swore that it was my door because the sound came from the same place where my door is. I was completely confused for a couple seconds until I realized that it was part of the illusion.
Lol, it's cool to know that you are tricked by other sounds you hear. That sometimes happens to me when I am watching tv and the phone rings or there is a knock on the door in that show.

I have a really weird thing...I get shivers if someone feels through my hair. Someone other than myself. So when it felt like he was clipping away at my hair, I got SUCH shudders! xD

That was really awesome. I got freaked out at the end of the virtual haircut though. IT's called Setera... or something. I thought he was right in my ear. :shock:
