So i'm sitting here posting my rp's and i suddenly got the thought in my head to watch Aliens and i was thinking about how cool those movies are, all of them from Alien all the way to the Alien vs. Predator series. I went crazy one day and bought the alien quadrilogy boxed set, its got all the special editions and directors cuts and bells and whistles of Alien thru Alien: Resurection.

Aliens is still my favorite despite Alien resurection being written by josh whedon (its similarities to Firefly and Serenity are kinda glaringly obvious) I absolutely LOVE Vasquez, the crazy little hispanic chick with the big muscles and big guns and Hicks rocks (that actor is good in everything including the terminator) The directors cut of aliens is so much cooler because it goes more into ripleys family and newts family, explaning what happened before it all hit the fan and how the colonists first found the alien ship and the eggs... anyway i was just watching and i was wondering who else besides me liked those movies.

I'm more of a Predator fan myself but the Xenos are very cool indeed. I was very disappointed in the latest AVP-R movie but having a lot of back info on it, it makes a little more sense to me than the average movie goer.

Now I'm old enough to have seen Alien in the theater when it first came out so that movie scared me but at the same time I couldn't stop watching it.
