GYN is short for gynecologist (sp?)
Well since my period only comes around once every 4 months, she was hoping that it would regulate my cycle so that it would come every month, so then we would know when I was ovulating. Right now we have no clue at all.
When I was on the birth control, it started to work. My period would come around when I took the sugar pills, but as soon as I went off the birth control to get pregnant, it went right back to being irregular.
So once I get a new GYN since I moved states, I'm going to be put on Clomid, which is a fertility drug that makes my ovaries ovulate.
The only problem is that increases my chance for multiple births, in which I need no help in that department what with my dad being a twin and all. It also runs on my mom's side of the family. My mom's obstatrician was suprised she didn't have twins and told her that since she didn't, if she had girls their chances would be even greater. Well, then she had me and then my younger sister (who is turning 21 on Valentines Day). So we both have very high chances of having twins.
