OK, the rose is the most common flower given on Valentine's Day. Right?
Well, I was wondering. If you could receive any flower you wanted from your special someone, What would it be?
Any reason why that flower?
If your a guy, What kind of flower would you give your special someone?
I like all flowers. If I could choose it would be roses or lilies. No reason. Tulips are nice also.

Water lilies, just because in an ugly swamp, those beautiful things bloom and its so pretty @[email protected];; to me it has more meaning then a stinky rose.
But I like pink daisies too O:

I don't think I'd want flowers on valentine's day. Waste of money. 60$ for something I grow myself every summer? No thanks.
I like day lilies, because they're hard to grow here and they're beautiful. Also, I love carnations because of their many petals and sweet peas because they're gorgeous in a batch, and they smell AMAZING. Orange roses are nice, but I don't like any of the other colored roses.

I really like those chocolate flowers, they're not real flowers, but chocolate of a fake flower stem. They don't smell weird and you don't have to cut the flower off from a poor unsuspecting shubery.

Im a guy. Don't really prefer flowers, so Ill twist the question a little, what kind of flowers would I give on valentine's?
Roses, yes! very nice flowers.
I like blossoms too, though they should bloom and be located on a nice location. Not a flower I would give of course xP

I would want a daisy (a pink one) because they are beautiful. I don't really like roses all that much unless they're black, but those are kind of impossible to find in the world. =/

Ones that people take randomly out of different people's yards and then bunch them all together always seem more sweet to me :)

Orchids. I love the way they look, plus if they were potted I could use them for my plant tank, which would be cool. Yes, I grow plants in a tank, it's like a mini jungle. But yeah, if I had to choose a cut flower, it would probably have to be lilacs. I love the way they smell. They'd have to be the pink ones though, since I think those are the prettiest.

ive been given lilies before and to tell you the truth i love to keep flowers after they die just cause they look cool when they have wilted. But lilies. . . DANG they stink! So i would have to go with roses. just cause they don't stink after they die and they look pretty both alive and dead.

I would want orchids or those pretty pink and yellow lilies. Easter Lily is what I'm pretty sure they are called.

Actually - typical yes - but I would wnat a rose because they are my favourite flower...period. I just love them so much. I like red the best - but any colour is pretty :D I have so many rose themed stuff - like lotions and statues and pictures. and anytime someone gives me a flower it's most of the time a rose because my friends and family all know I love them the best :D

Unfortunately my favorite flowers are CHerry Blossoms and since they grow on trees, it makes for something difficult to give lol Not to mention it's too dry where i live for them to grow and they don't bloom for a few more months. But on Valentines day i think getting roses is nice, multicolored ones in a boquest, not all the same color. That would be great in my opinion. Or oddly enough a sunflower, i have a soft spot for them. Just getting a nice big one for valentines would be a great way to brighten up my apartment. :D

Hm...I'd probably want roses or lilies, just any lily, they all are beautiful. ^^
For roses, I wouldn't care what color it is, the rose look gorgeous in any color. And for lilies, the color also doesn't matter much to me, they're just beautiful the way they are :]

I like lilies the most. The look somewhat, the smell the most, though. Roses are also gorgeous. For me, I wouldn't mind what kind of flower I got as long as it was given to me it would be nice.

I'm quite content with the ones my boyfriend brought home, actually. I arranged them in a pretty light purple vase, and there is pink and white and red and purple flowers. I don't know enough about flowers to know the names >.<
I put them on the desk and my boyfriend set up the chocolates next to them and I took pictures so that they would last forever :D They look so pretty!

Flowers are nice, but... I don't think someone should go out and get lots of them. First of all, my cat seems to think they're yummy treats. So we have to keep the flowers off tables or anywhere that my cat can get to. Second, they die quickly. I'd much rather prefer a cool shirt, maybe some nice but inexpensive jewelry, or if the person is an artist, some gift art or something like that (or anything creative/handmade)... and maybe being taken out somewhere really fun.
But, meh... Valentines day has always been poopy for me. I never get anything.

>.>; I like buttercups and bluebells. xD; I just think they're pretty...and hyacinths too. Lilies are all right. Actually, I much prefer plastic flowers over real ones. Or, just no flowers at all. xD; I prefer milk chocolate.
Flowers are nice, but I think they're kind of pointless. After a day, they're pretty disgusting. Why give a flower to someone to show that you love them? They die soon anyway. If anything, give them something that doesn't break down within a little while.
OHMIGAWSH. :3333
I figured out the perfect valentines gift; PLASTIC. x333 It's non-biodegradable, so it lasts forever and ever...

I like artificial flowers. They last longer. Not to mention it's easier to find one that looks healthy. XD
I like them best when they're made from interesting materials. Maybe glass, or tinted copper...or something else unusual. I make some myself out of copper wire and tiny glass beads; they're something that I give as gifts quite frequently.
I'm not particularly picky, though. I do like most flowers, real and artificial, as long as they're not wilted or frayed.
