Wow, that looks really nice. I especially love how it looks more realistic because of the blemishes, like how you included the freckles. A lot of people 'beautify' their self portraits and it just doesn't look as real as yours.

Rhough I don't really know how you look, the picture itself looks really awesome. Awesome coloring and I jsut love when people make realistic pictures using some digital media.

I love how you colored it, makes it look super realistic. I think it's for the better that it's cropped, it makes the picture look very unique like, also, sometimes when people draw realistic portraits, it's usually the face/eyesish area where it kills it. Very realistic!

Yeah, I've got like an acne scar goatee practically because I get a lot of blemishes on the lower half of my face. I figure it's better to tell the truth than to airbrush it over with a lie, it would only be ego-stroking and begging for trouble XD

I was actually liking how my eyes were turning out...until I painted the glasses on Dx Somehow the reflections kept making the eyes look all buggy and what-not. I'm so glad I decided to leave it cropped, the eyes were making me so angry after I'd worked so hard on them!

Yup, used a ref photo I snapped one day. I swear by using a reference for realistic work :3

I wouldn't swear by it, but it certainly makes things easier.
I've been working hard to be able to do realism without a reference.

It drives me mad how little of a response realism gets on forums! I have to practically beg for feedback most of the time. ><
