Okay, here's the story: my brother got grounded and got the net takin away. I was really bummed because I was going miss the event. Sooooo I got on my psp and now I'm spending about 15min typing this up. I have the belt and now I just need to get the rest, lol. I'm sorry for any spelling or punctuation mistakes doing this on a psp is hard. What have you been really determined to do recently?

haha, that is pretty determined! I'm afraid I'm never too determined to do things. I'm pretty easy-going, so what I do doesn't matter too much as long as I feel entertained by it.

I guess sometimes I get determined to play world of warcraft, but usually only after I haven't had a chance to the past few days. I'm too addicted.

Recently I've been pretty determined in making people happy and the like yet fail miserably anyway, with most people I guess. Lol. It's a pretty selfish determination in a sense though, as there's no way to keep everyone happy. XD

Other than thaaat.. I'm determined to keep awake right now for like no reason. I'm really tired and blah yet part of me refuses to cave into sleepy land. It suuucks. D:

I don't have much determination for most things in life. The only thing I really ever have any determination for whatsoever is to see Jrock bands in concert. I went out to San Fransisco (that's over half the country away from me) on less than a three month notice when I didn't even have a job. I made it there and back, somehow still with over one-hundred dollars leftover when I got off the plane back home when it was all done and over with. That was back in 06'.

This year, I'm going a step further than that. I'm going to an anime convention out in San Jose from May 22-26, just to see one of my favorite bands, Antic Cafe. So I'll be spending a lot more money than last time... but at least this time I have a job and a birthday coming up before going to it, so everyone will know to give me money for the trip if they're giving me anything at all, haha. Either way, once I decide I'm seeing a band, I go. It's really just that simple. Half the time I don't even know how I've pulled it off, even after it's all said and done and I'm home, but I just do. x3

I must say hat I'm not determined at all and I hate this fact of mine. If this goes on, I'll hardly acheive anything.
So it's not that bad, you know. You still get what you want somehow.

I have always been intent on making my friends, family, and girlfriend happy, so I can't really say that's been to recent, but I guess it is. -shrug-

Honestly, I'm generally pretty determined when it comes to sleep. I love to sleep. And I will juggle whatever I have to in order to take that nap that I'm wanting.
I guess this makes a little more sense when I point out that I used to be a nanny/babysitter and sometimes I'd have to be up at 5:30am to take care of the kids. Add to this that I have chronic insomnia so I usually didn't even fall asleep until around 3am, when I was lucky.
Then add to that that I spent so much of my time watching the kids and wearing myself out doing it that I couldn't do anything but sleep on my days off.
The kids' dad used to tell me, "Well, what do you think happens when you have kids?" It was always on the tip of my tongue to tell him, "That's why I DON'T have kids."
If I had kids I'd get up with them, no argument, because they are my kids. But when he was home, there was no reason I should have had to get up with his children.

Sorry, that got a little off subject. But that leads me to the other thing I was determined to do: stop babysitting and move out.

I'm lucky I don't have to get up early anymore XD I go to an online school now. :D Congrats to you though.

I've been really determined to get psychotherapy and overcome some severe phobias of mine (such as agoraphobia and my needle phobia) before June comes around. So I can be a better mummy to my baby when he's born. >3< It's really hard work, very draining and distressing but I'm really determined to get through it for my new families sake!

I have a social phobia, an arachnophobia, and a needle phobia >_< I'm trying to overcome my social phobia. I'm fine over the internet and everything, but not in real life.

Yeah, my parents ground everyone when someone does something wrong, to try and encourage more cooperation and so on, bleh! And I'm supposed to get him out of his slump. *sighs*

well im always determined to go on at least all my avatar sites at least once everyday. . . and normally post something at least one on each site. Sept for gaiaonline. It seems all i do on that site is do the daily chances and then leave. I have over 2k worth of gold just by going on daily chances. . .

I spend more time on gaia, even though it's going down the potty :( I'm one of the oldbies, and I'm rich on there as well, so it's a lot easier for me on there then it is on here. I'm trying to spend more time on here though :3

Yeah, that's pretty determined since I have a PSP and don't know what I need to hook it to the internet. T_T Well, I do know what I need, but I don't have it.

Can't say I would take it so easily if I had ever been grounded as well as my brother for any excuse/reason. I would have probably offered up thousands of reasons to ground me even more in protesting and rebelling...you must have the patience of a saint. :lol: I was always mad when the teacher made the whole class stay behind because of one person being a clown. Made everyone dislike that person, and he or she would only be MORE disruptive. >>;

My brother and I would have probably glared each other down and threatened each other to keep from getting grounded, and then both got grounded for fighting. :P Though I don't have to worry about that now. *is 22* And I rarely got grounded, and same with him. Heck, he hogged the computer we shared when I was young, so if he got grounded off it, I finally got it after like...months of not being able to get past him. T_T

same here. if you look at my avatar art on my sig it shows a pic of my avatar on gaia. with a angelic headband it is safe to say im LOADED on that site. . . i think im going to quit that site though. its such a bore now. ive been there for two years now and ive never not wanted to log in on that site before. so yea. its just really annoying that i have spent so much time on there and saved up for such a long time for those items just to give them away. .. you know?

I totally understand. I've been playing for 4 years, and it's come really far from a forum site. They don't even advertise the forums for it anymore, it's all about games games games. I've been toying with the idea of leaving gaia as well, but I have so many friends, and I hate the idea of keeping in touch with them via e-mail, it gets so annoying lol. I don't bother playing games, I stay in guilds and forums, and 90% of the time in my inbox. Gaia's gone down the crapper, I hope mene doesn't have the same fate.

If our internet decided to be weird again, i'd just go to the library since they have internet and computer there. <3 i've used my brother's Wii a few times to check on Mene or Gaia, and it take a while to type. >___<

and I'm sorry to hear about the whole, internet situation. when I was in high school my mom married this man who treated me horribly. he use to take away the internet all the time for nothing. only because he could. well my bf lived in new jersey at the time and I just decided to get on at night anyway. I had to keep it really quiet but I did it anyway.

hopefully you'll be able to use it again soon. and give your brother a good wompping over the head and tell him not to do that again.

Mm, I have to say that I'm really determined to get the last Item I need before they go on full price in the event common store. I'm posting like mad, trying to get it. I've already bought 2 I think today, I just need ONE more darnit! And I'm nervous...It's not like it'll be TOO expensive once it goes on full price, I'm just...Wanting to get it before then XD

Same here James. I'm trying everything I can think of to be able to make at least 300 gold so I can get some of the ones I want. it's driving me crazy.

I feel for you man, that has got to suck. What did your brother do? How can he get it taken away from the both of you, do they unplug it in your household?

I'm determined right now. I don't get have many chocolates unlike my sister who gets a boat load so I'm hoping to finish the event in the near future though somehow I doubt I will be able too.

Like you I've been really determined to finish this event. recently I've poured more effort into school work, I just want to finish T.T and if I get good grades I get free net, so I can't really slack off.
