He smiled at that, giving a nod as he decided to sit back and relax as well. "It certainly was," he agreed. "And hopefully helpful as well. Mmm... do you know I remember why I started disliking this armor so much," he pondered, as with his feet he started to kick off his boots, then his cocks. Taking the moment, he allowed the grass to mingle in between his toes.
"One simply cannot take in nature the same with armor on," he added. Eleven giggled, resting back as well.
"I think this is the first time I've actually seen you fully relax," she informed him. Stanley thought upon this a moment, before nodding.
"What? Surely me relaxing is not that strange of a sight is it?" he asked, before laughing. "Ah well. It is a... nice day to take in the sights. And since we had so much fun sparring, perhaps another round later?" he asked, a smile broadening across his face. Another round sounded fun to him he decided. This was... it was really nice.

"Remember your promise!" Yumi reminded him "You are to take better care of yourself now" she said in a warning tone, and then started laughing, she sounded like a mother. The sun felt warm on her skin and she felt the sweat that was once on her forehead dissapear with the sunlight. She also threw off her armour, well she had too stand up and struggled a bit with the removal of the bodypiece, but it worked and she put it in the shade under a tree, can't have it get hot and unable to put it on again. under it she had worn a simple dress that allowed mich movement, since she didn't have any pants, girls weren't supposed to wear pants. The freedom of the dress felt good as she twirled around and let herself fall into the grass again, a slightly bit dizzy. Seh made a prayer that more days could be like this one

Stanley's brows both went up, before he started laughing once again. "Yes yes, I remember," he replied, as he sat up and took off a bit more of his armor. "How can I forget with you around hmm?" he teased.
He sighed softly with a sort of content as he rested back again. "I know, I'm terrible about resting. There's just so much to make up for... but you know. Somehow, being around you guys... it's helped a lot," he told them, smiling lightly as he looked up towards the skies.
"Hey look," he said pointing towards a cloud. "It's a pegasus... and there's a dragon. Ooooh! That one looks like Obi!" It was interesting, seeing Stanley relaxed. One could see him for his actual age of twenty five, instead of looking about ten years older. He looked happy, content too.

Yumi looked hurt after Stanley's comment only to giggle afterward, knowqing she couldn't keep a straight face very well. she sat up and bend her heqad back to look at the clouds, she saw the pegasus he mentioned, but she soon found out sitting and looking at the clouds was near impossible so she slowly layd down in the grass again.
she looked at Stanley, he looked so happy, so different with a smile on his face, a smile you didn'i see very often. It made her smile too, the three of them belojged there in the field on a sunny day, this is how their life was supposed to be.
"Look that looks like a cat!" she pointed at another cloud. There were few of them, but tey were all beautifull and calming. Then a huge cloud blocked the sun and everything went into shade. "Aaaaaw no fair" Yumi said dissapointed, there seemed to be no end to the cloud, and she saw more clouds coming. she shivvered "It's getting cold"

"It does!" Stanley agreed with a warm laugh. He paused when the clouds came, and knew they marked either rain... or even snow. He sighed a slight, sitting up. "We better get inside before we all get sick," he told them, gathering his armor.
"What a shame..." he added, sighing a slight. Eleven agreed with a nod, shaking her head. It really was.
"Perhaps we can enjoy an activity indoors together?" Eleven suggested. "Maybe we can share stories before going to sleep?" Stanley nodded, looking towards the skies again as though hoping to will them away. But of course, it simply wasn't going to happen quite so easily.
'Let this not be a sign...' he thought to himself with a sigh.

Yumi grabbed her armor, it was heavier than when she wore it, atleast it seemed that way, and followed them inside
shesat down on the ground, legs crossed, the floor was of hard wood, but it didn't bother her. "Just as it was getting nice, clouds appear, just my luck" she muttered
"so what now?" she asked curiously, tell stories, what stories should she tell? she didn;t know anything that might be interesting

Stanley sighed, shaking his head. "Well, I suppose even Muses cannot control the weather," he replied, giving a light smile. "But, at least we had fun while we were outside right?" he asked.
He sat down across from Yumi, and Eleven sat beside them both pondering the question.
"Uhm... my life isn't too interesting..." she admitted with a flush. "Well, before all of this anyways. So I don't know many stories. I bet you do though, right?" she asked Stanley. Stanley pondered this.
"A few. I could tell you of how Obi and I first met... or perhaps the story the muses told me of their Mother and Father... and their origins. How about that one? After all, he really didn't like talking about himself too much anyways, and the story of how he met Obi was an embarrassing one at that!

"I'm all ears" Yumi said as she layed on the ground amd held her head in her hands. she lifted her legs and started swaying them back and forth, a habit she had when she layed like that.
"Well knowing my life wasn't that interesting either, but I do think we should all just tell stories, or else it wouldn't be fair for Stanley" she said teasing "He wouldn't be able to handle the pressure"

"And just what is THAT supposed to mean?" Stanley asked, crossing his arms and giving the sternest look he could think of before laughing as well. He could see that wasn't going to work well after all!
"Right then, where to start...?" Stanley mused, before giving a nod. "Long ago, long before our kingdom even was created in fact, there existed a world very much like our own. In fact, you could call it a sister world if you will, called Nimune. Now then, Nimune had a king, it had subjects... it had everything you would think about when thinking of this world.
But it also had one thing extra. That was Matris and Patris, who were new beings. Noone is certain where they came from originally, whether they crossed over form another world, or were simply a new breed of animal altogether. But the king and his mages were absolutely fascinated by them. In fact, he ordered the pair brought before him to be studied closer. It was found that Matris could create jewels of any variety or color or size, and Patris could wield metal to do his bidding. The pair, in fact, helped the king transform his city into a city if glistening beauty.
During this time, the pair had many children. Some known, some not really known. It was discovered however that the muses enjoyed bonding with people, and once bonded the human gained the powers the muse had. The king wondered if the parents had great powers... so too must the children. If his city was great now, how much greater would it be with the children doing his bidding as well?
As such... he ordered a decree. He ordered that all muses be brought before him, no matter the circumstances. Only, Matris and Patris caught word of his plan. Together, the pair merged into a single being, and used their combined power to create a gate. A gate that led to this world. Calling all of their children, and perhaps a few of their Bonds as well, they left the world of Nimune.
It wasn't until after the king realized he had lost everything in his greed. For without Matris and Patris to upkeep the city, it fell to rust and dust. It is rumored, perhaps, that somewhere the gate actually still stands..."

Yumi listened with interest, it was a great story. "Wow, Stanley how did you know all that?" she asked "Do you have more of those stories Stanley?" suddenly she was all ears, the history of the muses was very interesting, the only sad thing was that the thing they had ran away form had happened here

((I keep forgetting folks dont know that term! *laughs* It means plot idea, tidbit for later. And I dunno about kawaii, they tend to have pointy teeth :P ))
Stanley leaned back a moment. "The muse History told me them, back when we first met," he explained. "He told me a few stories actually," he added, and one could see him adopt an almost pensive look.
"We were pretty close friends actually, History and myself. I met Obi and History at the same time actully."
"Really?" Eleven asked, tilting her head. "Can we meet History?" she asked. Stanley sighed, looking down a moment.
"History... is no longer with us. He gave up his life in exchange for mine some time ago. I promised him, however, I would keep his stories alive so... they're all up here," he added, tapping his head.
"Hmmmm... let me see. What sort of story to tell next? There are the Celestia Eight, Nanoka the Brave, How Art and Color was brought to the people, the story of the song and the silence... if you like, I can tell you them all," he added, smiling lightly.
'History would have liked that...' he thought to himself, a hand for a moment lingering over his chest.

"I would like to hear them all" Yumi said with a warm smile, it was the least they could do in memory of History. "It's a good way to waste some pleasant time while waiting for tomorrow" she said as she looked out a window, the sky was getting darker by the minute.
"You think there's a storm brooding?" she asked a but alarmed, it looked like some sort of thinderstorm. Not long after she had said that a loud thunder cam crashing. Yumi ducked, she had always been afraid of the thunder. 'It's okay it won't hurt you' she told herself, trying to calm herself down but it wasn't really working, she started to panick again. She could face knights, rebel against a king and all of that, but she couldn't stand the vilence of the skies

Stanley nodded in agreement. "Alright then, I don't mind at all. Maybe we can fix some snacks and drinks, make a whole afternoon of it?" he asked.
When it was asked if a storm was brewing, he looked outside and gave a light sort of frown. "Perhaps..." he agreed. That was when the thunder clapped. Even Eleven was startled, jumping a slight with eyes wide. But nowhere near like Yumi's reaction had been. He walked over, and kneeling beside Yumi gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"It's alright to be afraid in a thunderstorm, they are particularly violent at times," he said, his tone calm. "Hmmm... I know just the trick. I can fix my patented chunk cookies up, some milk to go with it, and perhaps the story of how the Storm King muse was bested..."

Yumi looked at Stanley "You must think I'm a fool to jump so much form a bit of thunder" she said, certainly feeling like one. "Chunk cookies? that would be nice" she said as another flash of thunder illuminated the skies. Once again Yumi jumped. "D..damnit" she mutter, trembling. She hated her fear, but she was really shaking now and she felt like such a chicken for reacting so heavily.

"Nonsense," Stanley replied, shaking his head. "We are have our fears. "For example... mine is chipmunks," he added, giving a light grin. "They scare the bejeezus out of me, and when I see one, well let us just say it isn't a pretty sight!"
That was when she started shaking, and shaking hard. He gave a sympathetic look, pondering. "How would you like to help make them?" he asked. The kitchen is a bit better soundproof," he added. He noted how violently she was shaking, and gently held her in a comforting hug. "Storms are violent, but remember it can only last so long before it blows itself out," he told her. Even Obi upon Stanley's shoulder looked towards Yumi with concern.

She stopped shaking but still shivvered a slight. she looked at the sky, still dark and violent. she took a breath and tried to shake the fear away, but ofcoarse it didn't work, if it only was that easy.
"Really chipmunks?" she asked, only just taking in what he had said. She managed to hold in a giggle, chipmunks were so innocent. It made her feel a slight better

The king and himself, as kids, well the king used to get his jollies simply from finding a chipmunk and showing it to Stanley. 'Look Stan, its your best friend!' he'd tease, and it never failed to send the young lad running in circles quite without eloquence.
"And don't even get me started on rutabagas," he added with a sheepish sort of look.

"I won't" Yumi said, with a slight grin on her face, he had already succeded in lgihtening her mood, which was really a miracle, when she was little she always hid ni the closet whenever it thundered and their maid used to try to get her out becasue she felt sorry for her, she even promised her an entire cake if she would get out of the closet and it didn't work. She remembered spending hours even when there was no more thunder, shaking in the little closet.
She took his hand aas he helped her stand up, she only trembled a slight and she was really much calmer than normal. 'I guess beingin a friendly surroundment helps that much huh" she thought

"Come on then, you get to be the first soul to ever see the secret recipe," he told her with a wink. Eleven watched the pair with a light smile, deciding to use the time to play with the muses a bit.
Stanley led Yumi into the kitchen, where he started pulling down various supplies for his baking. One might notice he had chocolate chunks, peanut butter, a few assorted nuts, everything one could think of just about! "We can add a few berries too if you like, that's the great part of this recipe! Just pick a few items and we'll get started!" He was prepping the bowls and such, and after would show her what to do.
"I find making these is a great way to keep ones mind off of their worries. I remember the last time I was 'munked' I baked enough cookies to feed the entire army! It was... hah, therapeutic I suppose," he added, smiling lightly. "Although more than once I was called girly. Of course, eating the cookies tended to quiet them up though," he added, with a satisfied grin.

"Somehow it's hard to emagine you girly, wait actually nevermind, I think I could emagine you girly" she said with a playfull smile "but yes, cookies do shut men up, I found that out a while ago, when I used to make them, all the time as a little child, I wanted to give mine to the people that didn't have any food, I was such a naive child to think that would help but oh well, and there were some guys that tried to steal what I have. I've never seen guys run so hard when I threw my cookies at them. Mind you, I wasn't that good at making cookies and more than ghalf of them were burnt and hard as brick, which may have lead to their reaction" she smiled again at a pleasant memorie, one of the few

"Chocolate and berries it is then!" he replied, as he asked her to cut the chocolate into little chunks, while he worked upon the berries and getting them the right size.
"HEY!" he said, with a sort of mock indignation at the girly comment. "I'll have you know I can be quite manly when I want to be. I can burp and pass gas with the best of... you know on second thought that isn't something to brag about," he amended, his cheeks bright red. He knew those teenager days would come back to haunt his stories sooner or later!
When she told him about the cookies, he found himself laughing hard. "Well as long as they weren't capable of knocking anyone out! But you know, I find the way to get back at particularly troublesome folks is with UNDERCOOKED cookies," he added grinning a slight. "Back in my younger days, I made up such a batch for a group of troublemakers, and let us just say there was a fight over the outhouse!" It was funny how he said younger days, as though he considered himself to be old. Maybe he did, but it was clear he really wasn't.

She laughed with him about their stories. "Well, when I was around nine I believed I could go to heaven if I helped the people who had less than I did by giving them clothes and such, but my aunt and uncle refused to let me take something that was theirs, so I decided to make the things my own. Well you should know that I found out then, that I couldn't sew or cook anything. I tried sewing a sweater, but I think the thing could more easily pass for a dog-chewed rug than anything wearable, and my aunt wasn't very please since I had decided to use the curtains as the material. I swear I'm going to make a terrible housewife." she laughed at that thought

Hmmmm... but I bet you're just being hard on yourself!" he added, as he gave her a bowl with half of the cookie dough mixture to help stir. "Just remember curtains are CURTAINS and you'll do fine," he added with a laugh.
"And hey, we all do some crazy stuff when we're kids. I once brought home a lizard thinking it would be a great new pet at the orphanage. Uhm... let me just say it created the sort of chaos the likes of which I had never seen Girls went running in all directions, even our caretakers did! Boys tried to catch things to feed it, and uhm... I believe they still tell stories there about that day..." he admitted sheepishly.

She giggled when the lizard got mentioned "I would probably want to catch it and keep it as a pet too, I always liked lizards and snakes and such, one day a snake snuck into the house and I causght it. I wanted to show it off to auntie, I have nevr seen someone climb onto the table so fast" she said giggling "I wouldn't let my uncle kill it so he kicked me out the house and I wasn't to return with it, so I slept outside with my little snake, after 2 days it decided to leave me and I returned, so your right, children do the most dumn and fnny things just becuase we didn't know better back then"

Stanley laughed at this, shaking his head. "It certainly keeps things exciting I suppose, doesn't it?" he agreed.
He laughed at her tale, grinning as he pulled the cookie sheet out and showed her how to separate it into cookies. "Ah well, I would say it was kids except I still keep strange critters around," he told her with a grin. Obi on his shoulder gave a sort of hmph, to which he laughed. "No offense Obi," he told his muse, giving an apologetic grin.
Once the cookies were laid out, he popped them onto the fire to cook. ""The trick to baking is to make sure to pull things out on time," he said with a wink. "These will be done when they are a nice, light brown in color. " He hummed a moment in thought, before looking back towards Yumi with a bright smile.
"The BEST part, however, is the smell they make while cooking," he told her.
