I always personalized my post style with colors/sizes on Gaia, so the habit followed me to Mene. X'D

It's not really too much a hassle when/since I know what I'm doing, hehe~

I always thought that people liked to go all out in personalizing post styles on Gaia (probably because you wouldn't really get yelled at or warned for having something too decorative?). I get annoyed when people put really big pictures/flobs in their posts or make them really spaced out.. with so many people already having really big sigs, I have to scroll even more to get through a page. (This is just in some places though..)

Lol, that's true though~ I find flobs real pretty though. :> Well, if they're nicely done, that is. I HATE page-stretching with a passion though, so flobs/posts/siggies that stretch the page annoy me to hell. D:<

Yeah, before the system change (or whatever you want to call it), post formatting was limited to like, a single color change and single size change (if you wanted to). 8'3

You also couldn't sign your every post like

"~ [insert nick/user-name]"

or something, because it'd be abusing the system's way of granting gold. And people don't need to see a name at the end of a post because the post's right next to the avis anyway. Otherwise, that's what the 'signature' is for. o.o

Ohh, I see~ =O Yeah, I can see why they implemented those rules. It makes a lot of sense though. xD

I quite like this system of earning gold though. I mean the "more letters = more gold" system. It's harder, but it's really growing on me. I find it unique, to be honest. :>

flobs are nice and all, but god it's nice to see people use proper English time to time. x.x like puncations and captializing letters.

Totally. xD Bumping is fun for mindless but overall I rather have conversation even if I don't understand what is being said

Aside from the pretty pixels and nice newb-welcoming people here, the rules and post system were a big part of what kept me here. 8'3

It's probably also made me realize even more clearly how bad and.. un-warm threads in the only other forum I know can get. Bump posts started to bother me more than they usually did, but like, in guild threads and friend threads and such, I still do a playful emote war kind of thing with friends, haha. They don't last too long though, and aren't like, an emote post per second. XD;

Yeah, being here on Mene has made me realize that actuals conversations are way better than bumps. Although, now it makes me real lazy to bump my art shop on Gaia, since no one comes and talks to me on that thread unless they wanna order. :< It's kinda sad, really. =\

Plus, Mene makes us all more social, whether we're forced to be so for the gold or not. xD It's a win-win situation though, when you think about it. :> Makes this place more appealing to me, imo. :3
