I was supposed to go get some photocopies of some readings in uni though, and help a friend and her groupmates with their presentation (they unluckily were picked to present first in our Creative Writing class xDD).

BUT, I'm still sick-ish, so I stayed at home and rested instead. =) More time to do schoolwork though, I guess. x_x;;

I'm glad I've managed to avoid being sick for this first semester of the year.. All the other times I've been sick, it had extremely bad influences on me academically. And I hate that almost all the times I've been sick during school, it had to happen during a major test or times like midterms and finals.. DX;

And ohh, tell me about it. x_x;; I remember I was hospitalized during my first year in school due to Dengue. =\ It was during the submission of a MAJOR (and I repeat, MAJOR) set of papers, essays, charts, and etc for our History class. I skipped two weeks of it (we would submit the paperwork in sets depending on their timelines), and had to cram and beg my History teacher to reconsider failing me because I missed the deadline (he's real strict >.>).

Luckily, I got an alright grade for them (not good, but not bad either), so... yeah. >.>;; Not an experience I want to repeat, mind you. x_x;;

I haven't had anything as traumatizing as that, though. But, I've skipped a couple tests and stuff due to being sick later on. =| Actually, I was never a sickly person before. It was only after I caught Dengue when my immune system weakened, leading to me becoming a little more vulnerable to various illnesses and all. x_x;;

So... yeah. xDD;; Just thought I'd share~ ^^

Woah, whut? I mean, you were hospitalized-- how could he think of failing you after being hospitalized? D8;;

I don't think I've ever skipped any tests before.. Well, like, in... high school? For some reason, my body liked to catch some kind of illness right before or during finals.. and after finals was break, so it wasn't like I could make-up the tests or anything.. I always ended up going to school with my head feeling groggy, taking the stupid finals so I wouldn't fail. @^@ (Failing is probably an overstatement though XD )

And yeah, he almost did. >.>; He was, like, "You could have sent someone to the school to hand me your papers." =| Yeah... x_x;; But, he's a really excellent teacher, and I definitely learned a lot from him, both academically and for real life situations. ^^

But, yeah, that particular memory still scares me, even today... x_x;;

I was lucky that I got to it early enough. If I didn't go to the hospital right away, I would have needed a blood transfusion or something. >.>; So, I'm real lucky to have survived it, especially since people die of it every year. :<

And yeah, it sucks. >.>; He toughened me (and the rest of the class as well, as we're all traumatized together xDD) up and taught me to take my studies a little more seriously. ^^;;

The thought of failing a class scares (scared) me to the point of subconsciously working harder in classes.. Er.. otherwise, I just had nothing else to do and practicing Spanish vocab seemed like a good idea at the time. >^>

When I fall asleep in class, I assume the teachers assume that I'm purposely not paying attention to them or something, when of course, I'm just tired and my eyelids couldn't take it anymore. XD;; My ears were working fine though, haha~

Three years in high school~ And yeah, I can barely remember much of it, haha. I can guess general meanings of things I read or hear at best. XD;

Ahaha~ I unfortunately don't have the luxury of using this 'selective hearing'. XD

Mayybe.. I just did my presentation today.. and aside from thinking it wasn't long enough time-wise, I think it was okay -> decent. Hopefully, that'll put some kind of boost to my low grade, >o> and now I just have to worry about the final ( which, I'm actually not too worried about XD; )
