Oh my.. I can somewhat understand the kind of stress you must be feeling right now then, especially if you feel yourself rather close to your grandma. My grandma's alright right now, but not perfect, and I'm always worrying about the day that she'll become dangerously close to death, and it'll happen while I'm so far away from her (since we're separated by the Pacific Ocean for much of the year). But.. however the situation with your grandma turns out, I hope you and your family will find the strength to keep going through this hard time. ^ ^

Our first field trip ended up being canceled though, since both the students and the teacher, well, at first we completely forgot about the museum admission ticket. We originally planned this as a bus trip, so all we thought about was making sure we brought quarters, haha~ But then, once we remembered that we had to pay a bit of money to get in, we looked up the museum's site online to check and found that they're now closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (class day), so we didn't go. But we had a nice relaxing class instead. X'D The second field trip was pretty cool though~ We went to Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, a museum/gallery place (I don't really know much about it), but the painter of the works in their current exhibit was gonna be there to talk, so I was really looking forward to that. He was a fun guy to listen to, the way he talked about his paintings' content, and painting techniques, and I learned quite a bit. 83 (Apologies at this point in turning my reply into a textwall, it wasn't intentional, and I didn't notice 'til now. XD;;)

But this also reminds of when I watched a documentary thingy on the human body, and how in nearing death, our hearing is the last sense to go, which feels creepy yet cool at the same time, and makes me think how powerful our hearing really is (in my mind anyway)~

Well, it's my own choice to try to be active on two sites, haha. But how active I am in either really depends on my mood of the day, some days I'll be more into Mene than Gaia, other days I'll be more into Gaia than Mene, and still other days I'd sadly not be into either and run off to sleep or read or something, heh. But it's rather hard to find days when my activity in both is actually equal, it's too time-consuming that way, I think (as if one site wasn't enough XDD). And yay for anything relating to productive progress on quests~!

Yeah, I'd imagine it to have been touch or smell, but when you think about it, it kinda does make sense to be hearing~ Hehe, always something new to learn from each day- makes life more.. I guess, meaningful, or purposeful, to think of that way? XD

It's awesome that you've been able to use it as a driving force! If I tried, and I think I have, the driving force effect probably lasted about half and hour before 'Good gods, will vacation just be here now??' DX

Haha, I used to hoard event items, but I dunno why I did that.. never really amounted to much to save for later, and I really suck with the marketplace when selling event items as they come out, cuz that's usually when they're valued at their highest. XD;
I only buy MCs I know, or have a good idea that I'd use it in some future outfit or other. But I still have a couple items from back when they didn't cost so darn much as they do now, that I simply bought because I liked it. XD
