Yeah, I hate when that happens, especially if I'm just focusing on simply getting the reading done. I don't really care much if I don't understand it, I just want to get the reading over with. XD;;
Ah, and I lied. I didn't realize it until about 15-20 pages into it that I accidentally skipped a book, so right now I'm reading Starless Night, not Siege of Darkness, and I've already spoiled a couple things for myself. XD;; Anywhos~ Mm.. if you like fantasy books with lots of battles and such in it, it's a great series, haha~ But I find there's a lot of valuable stuff to learn from each book, with the development of the main character Drizzt, about good morals and ways of viewing the world and stuff. owo I'm into the.. 8th? book of the series now, so I'd say it's good. X'D <3
Ahh, I understand, haha~
And probably the better general state of hygiene in today's world. XDD
Haha~ XD
Especially when it bothers people, heh. They probably go as far as to question why things are that way, but most don't continue with the thinking process from there and just accept things as they are. Some others would probably think further to try to find ways to change things for the better, but, like you said, they'd come to believe that the way things currently are just can't be changed. o^o
I never learned sewing or other basics home ec stuff, we never had home ec at my private schools, though I often think we should have. XD;; So I've always had to learn and still have to learn them from my parents. >o<;
My high school was all girls as well, but I guess, just from the simple fact that it's primarily a prep school, they didn't think home ec was as important as the basic subjects required for guaranteed college entry. >o>;; And home ec was a required class for both genders during my mom's time and still is, I think. XD; It's just that the home ec class is taken during middle school, while students concentrate on the various subjects tested in college entrance exams in high school, haha~
Haha, a pleasure in knowing that we've changed for the better in one way or another. XDD
Yes, cuz I remember that Roachi made your quest thread banners, right? I remember you guys talking about the banners somewhere, and I think that's what lead me to finally visit your quest thread. XD Ah, yeah, I've noticed that her quest thread's been pretty active for a while now, but a bit too active for me, for now at least, haha. XDD;
Well, now you know for next year then~? 8DD
Yes, and how we both share the bad memory trait, haha~ XDD
I fear that they mind, so then I subconsciously mind? XD;
Wah! You're encouraging distractions and thus procrastination from my studies! But I'd be a hypocrite if I said I didn't agree with your views~! XDD
Probably have to go digging through old stuff to find them, like I did with my late 'spring cleaning' in mid-May. XD I found some stuff that I drew from elementary school and it made me laugh (a cough some balls of dust). XD
But at least you'll reach it! 8DD Just kidding, haha~ I'm sure you'll achieve greatness in your art way sooner~ X'3
I'll have to think more on intuitiveness and creativeness later, haha~ XDD
I'm ashamed, I still haven't finished the Chronicles, but I do have all the books now. 8D;; I read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe first from the series, for a book report in like, 6th or 7th grade, haha~ I'll have to get to finishing them sometime, but I also bought another C.S. Lewis book sort of recently (the title slips my mind..), a short one, but undoubtedly interesting, I think.. after having read the first few pages, haha~
I think they were white and fluffy, but today proved to be sunny and hot all day, haha. XD; And having gone out today, I forgot to look for Snapple! D8;; I was thinking about going to the store on our way home, but decided not to, for some reason. DX;
What's the end of your morning ordeal? XD;
Heh, I tried setting my alarm to way earlier than I needed to be up today (to visit the museum). I kept waking up some hours before I actually needed to be awake, but I guess I could blame that on the heat, since I only had the fan on last night, instead of the air conditioning.. I ended up waking an hour and a half early, but fell back asleep without really meaning to, and woke up again to my aunt's knocking on the door. XD; So.. I'm not really sure if it's worked or not, haha. XD;;
I don't know, it just seems like a neat term, haha~
I think I may find myself using it sometime in the future. X'D
Lolz, well, that's a relief though, since I do enjoy all this conversation immensely. :> Even if I don't have as much time for it anymore. ;_; I apologize for the very late reply btw. :x
Yeah, you know me. xDD;; I think I've mentioned already before that I really do love symbolisms. ^^;; I think I mentioned it when we were talking about my art? =O Or... I dunno, I'm not too sure right now. xDD;;
YES, I know how you mean. @[email protected];; Every time I turn a page in cases like those, I always end up counting how many more pages are left before I finish... >.>;; It's one of my coping mechanisms, I guess? xDD;;
LOLOLZ. xDD;; Awws, were they major spoilers? =O I hope not. :x
And oohh, I actually am into books like that. :> I'll look into it more later on when I have the time. :3 I'm currently reading The Time Traveler's Wife for now before the movie comes out, and then I might just resume The Chronicles of Narnia series, since I have yet to completely read it. xDD;;
I'm glad I didn't confuse you then. ^^;;
LOLOLZ. xDD;; I like that, very witty. 8DD;; <3<3
It's an interesting theme though, as long as it's not too overused in the same manner, which sadly is starting to be the case lately with a lot of movies... :x </3
Yeah, I hate that mentality. >.>;; I mean, if people in the past had that mentality, we wouldn't be this way in the future now, right? =O So, if people in the past could do it, then I don't see why our generation can't do the same as well. xDD;; I mean, it's not like we're a different race now or something. ^^;; Lazier, yes, but I'd like to believe that man hasn't lost all its "wondering" capabilities for good (a reference to Sophie's World, in case you decide to pick it up xD).
Really? =O I was sure that stuff like that was always thought at private schools. :x Since, umm, it's considered very "womanly" and all. >.>;; Guess your private school proved me wrong though. xDD;; But interesting point of view though. =O It was also taught to us in middle school initially, but the brushing up and more advanced stuff was taught in high school. ^^;; I guess it's cause they thought we were too young to handle sharp and dangerous needles or something, lolz. >.>;;
And yeah, it's always a good thing to change for the better, after all~ 8DD;; <3<3
Yeah, maybe that's why! =O I don't remember that part myself, but it sounds about right, I think? xDD;; <3<3 And yeah, it's been very active indeed. ^^;; Nothing is TOO active though, if you ask me. =P
Yeah, hopefully I will know for next year. xDD;; Here we are again with my memory issues though... ^^;; Glad to know though that I'm not the only one with a bad memory. =P It tends to make me feel sad, sometimes. ^^;;
Okay... that last statement was confusing, LOLZ. xDD;;
And, hey, I need someone to share my procrastinating and distractions with...? 8DD;; You're just making yourself an easy target. =P LOLOLZ. xDD;; But seriously though, I would also be hypocrite then, since as much as I strive for the opposite of what I just mentioned, I still can't help but believe in what I do say... >.>;;
LOLZ. xDD;; I can imagine how dusty those must have been. ^^;;
And yeah... someday... >.>;;
And lolz, okies then. xDD;; Feel free to share your views when you have them sorted out then. =P <3<3
And oohh, interesting. :3 Yeah, I regret to say that I've only read The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe and half of Prince Caspian. :x I made it a goal to finish all books though. ^^;; I love the Narnia universe. :3 Even if I don't agree with what happens in the end... x_x;;
And oohh, tell me the title when you do remember? :>
And aww! D: Well... there's always next time...? xDDD;; <3<3
And the end of my morning ordeal...? :x Ermm... waking up from the car to get to class? D: I like to nap during car rides. xDD;; Or, wait, probably the end of my morning ordeal at home is actually finishing everything I need to do during the mornings, such as eating, brushing my teeth, washing my face, picking clothes, fixing my bag, and etc. x_x;; I always tend to forget something, actually. @[email protected];; Most of the time it's eating breakfast. >.>;;
LOLZ. xDD;; Well, since heat was a major factor in this, we can't say for sure yet...? ^^;; So, yeah. @[email protected];;
And okies then. xDD;; I might try using it myself, given the right circumstances probably. ^^;; We'll see. =P <3<3
No need to apologize, I noticed the post in your quest thread about how busy school's getting for you, heh. XD
Yup, I've seen you mention it more than a couple times now though, so it doesn't really matter which time you mentioned it in this thread. XDD
Ahaha~ I do the same thing! Sometimes, if it's from a thick textbook or something, I'll section off the reading that I have to do, like sticking a pen into the book wherever the reading ends or something, so I know how many pages I have left to read. It tends to slow my pace more than speed it up though, haha~
Mm.. kind of, but sorta not really, heh. I didn't read to far into the new book ( which I'm reading now, cuz I finished the one I was supposed to read XD ), and it was still vague-ish so that I enjoyed reading Starless Night regardless of having some parts spoiled. 8D
They go by pretty fast too, but once you finish one, you'll probably feel a strong urge to get the rest and read them too! X'D Ooh, I forgot that that movie's coming out~ I've heard the title often, but never read it. XD;
Haha, but very true! Reading or hearing about the way things were back then, it sometimes makes me shudder, makes me wonder if I really could have lived like that. But at the same time, some of the stuff just seems amusing. 8D;;
Yeah.. Though I guess I just focus on other things in the movies so I don't notice the overusedness as much?
Heh, our generation probably just needs a little more inspiration or something. XD;
Oh yes, I definitely will pick it up, the only question is when, haha~ XD
Well, as I think I mentioned, there is a sewing class, but it's optional. But every year we have a pageant sort of thing, so that the students from the sewing class can show off their work. It's a popular class, so quite a few people actually do sign up for it, but some other people would rather take some AP class or other instead, concentrating on their goals for college instead of lifestyle skills. XD We never had a cooking class though, which I would have taken advantage of, haha~ XD And like I said, we were primarily a prep school, and a pretty small one compared to other private schools. Not very many classes were offered, not very many clubs were established either. 8<
Ah, yes, that's true, haha~ But a cooking class would have some basic-ish stuff to teach middle schoolers, no? XD
Haha~ XD
I don't think anything can be too active to a group as a whole, but one person can only handle so much, as a busy person such as yourself might know. XD I just don't want to get into too many active things because I know I'd dive right into it, wanting to be as up-to-date as I can. But it's the summer right now, and all I really wanted was to relax; plus, if I get myself to busy with the internet, I wouldn't be able to spend time with my grandma, which is the main reason I'm over here in the first place. 8D;;
It always makes me feel sad when I hit a moment of memory loss. It makes me think that my body is aging faster than the number of my years lived would suggest. >^>;;
In other words, I'd be a hypocrite for arguing against your views on distractions because in my mind, I agree with just giving in to distractions if my grades aren't suffering much. XD
But your last statement also kinda confused me ( mostly the last last part ). XD;
Especially because they've been under my bed for a while, haha. XD;
Yesh, someday~ >w>
Haha, yay~ Another person who has read the whole series yet. X'D
Ah, it's called Out of the Silent Planet, apparently one of his more sci-fi-ish works? I've yet to actually reach the point where it seems more sci-fi, but I've only read like 10 or so pages and stopped, and didn't bring it with me here, though I should have. XD;
Yeah, haha~
Oh, was there a hurricane/typhoon/whatever-want-to-call-it around the Philippines like, last week or so?
Heh, I'm one of those people who don't habitually eat breakfast, though sometimes I need it for a long day of class. >o>;; I can never seem to find a good breakfast to eat though.. most of the time I feel sick later from not being used to eating breakfast. o^o;;
Hehe, yeah, I don't know. XD; Almost every morning, I wake up at some point to hit the snooze on my alarm, but somehow fall back asleep without realizing it, even after just lying awake for a few minutes. XD;;;
I still feel the need to though! :< I mean, I just did it again and didn't reply to this in, what, two or three days? ;_; I'm sorry again! D: I wish I could reply more often despite my hectic schedule...
Yeah, so now I guess I should shut up about it or something since I don't want to sound overly repetitive and annoying and... yeah. >.>;; Sorry if I keep mentioning it, btw. ^^;;
LOLZ, it slows me down a lot more than it should too! xDD;; But hey, readings that boring aren't meant to be read fast. D: Even though we do wish we could all read them really fast to get them over with... >.>;;
And okay, good to hear then. xDD;; At least you weren't overly spoiled then. =P
And you should read The Time Traveler's Wife! =O So far it's interesting, even if it gets a little confusing and over-indulgent at times. ^^;; It's a little more adult than normal though, but I'm dealing with that just fine, I guess. xDD;; <3<3 The story seems worthwhile, at least, and I've heard good things about it anyway. ^^;;
I try to see it as more amusing than not though. xDD;; Much nicer to think of stuff more positively that way. ^^;;
Makes me remember the really sad moments in the past that just seem too funny right now in the present... 8DD;;
Yeah, true~ =P And, well, everything nowadays is a cliche, and if not everything then at least most of the storylines and stuff. >.>;; So, I've come to accept that, and I just look for how it's told instead. ^^;; <3<3
Lolz, very true. xDD;; Reminds me of a discussion we had in my Communications class just this morning... 8DD;;
And haha! xDD;; No rush though, no worries~ ^^;;
Oohh, you guys have a pageant fashion show thing every year? =O That's awesome! <3<3 We didn't have stuff like that before, sadly. ;_; We had it a few times, but it was never really anything overly serious and stuff, and it was only once in a blue moon, lulz. xDD;;
And ohh, I see, I see. =O That explains it then, I guess. ^^;; But if it's any consolation, we had cooking classes, yet I can't cook a damn thing (except breakfast foods and baked stuff) to save my life. D: Makes me dream of a future husband who can cook for the both of us, LOLZ. 8DD;;
And yeah, it would. ^^;; Nothing TOO hard though. xDD;; They also provided our ingredients for us in middle school, while having us buy our own ingredients in high school. >.>;;
Yeah, I would definitely know what you mean. @[email protected];; And you make a very good point. :3
How is your grandmother, btw? :> I hope she's doing fine? =O And how are you doing anyway? =O I haven't been hearing much about your trip aside from the lack of Snapple and strange weather, lolz. xDD;;
And yeah, so true. ;_; I feel really stupid too. D: </3 It's a sad feeling. :<
And oh! I meant that while I do strive to believe that I need to care about my grades and do something about distractions, my firm belief on the aforementioned statement is contradicting to the way I act in real life anyway. ^^;; As the saying goes, "easier said than done," lolz. xDD;; If that makes any sense...? >.>;;
Lolz, then they must be very dusty indeed then. xDD;;
And, wait, I haven't read the series yet, as a clarification. ^^;; Cause you said that I have read it...? o_O;; I'm confused, lolz. xDD;;
And oohh, I'll look into it later on then. :3 Sci-fi isn't exactly my favorite genre, but as long as it's interesting, then I do give sci-fi a read. ^^;; Haven't found one very good sci-fi book yet, in all honesty. >.>;;
And yes, there was. xDD;; As per usual. >.>;; We get at least 70% of all typhoons and the like in the world. @[email protected];; So, we're very much used to typhoons, despite how sad that kinda sounds. xDD;;
And OHH! I feel sick when I eat breakfast too! ;_; At least, I used to feel sick, since I wasn't used to eating something that early. >.>;; Lately though, I try to eat breakfast everyday (once a week now! xDD), so, my body is slowly adjusting... ^^;;
And ohh, I know how that feels. @[email protected];;
Happens to me a LOT. x_x;; </3
I sometimes leave threads for two or three days, sometimes even for more days at a time. XD;
I very much understand the busy-ness of life though, so you really don't have to apologize; I'm in no hurry for these many many topics we've got going so far ( though I do enjoy them ). X'D
What do you think of your classes so far? 8'O
I think you've had at least a day from all of them by now, yes? XD
It's okay, I don't find it annoying. XD
Ahaha, I will have to keep track of that line somewhere, so I can say it to myself when I find I'm doing boring readings again. XD *copies~*
Yeah, haha~
Yes, I should, haha! X'D Are you almost done with the book? 8O
Some things can be quite a bit ridiculous, haha. XD
The means is definitely more interesting than the end in a lot of movies now, haha~ Among other things. XD
It's sort of in conjunction with our annual talent show ( if I remember correctly XD ). Haha, our school had a lot of school events, and a lot of half days and days off. XD;
Aww, but your description pretty much sounds like my dad, who has more interest in cooking than my mom, than the rest of my immediate family. XD
Wow, you had to buy your own stuff for high school classes? I thought the school would usually provide them, heh. >O>;
Oh, your ankle's getting much better. And her appetite's returning, though slowly.
Any time there's an opportunity for popsicles though, she's eager to consume one, and sometimes two. XD
Haha, probably because not much has been happening. XD Aside from that one clothing trip with my aunt that I told you about, and a museum trip I went with another aunt ( not sure if I mentioned it ), I've just been sitting around drawing my butt off. XD;
*sigh* We should stop making ourselves think of such a feeling. D8
So you were saying that caring about your grades is easier said than done, right? XD
Quite, haha. XD;
And for some reason, I just seem to attract dust or something, everywhere I go. D8 Coming to Taiwan, there's been a whole lot of dust in the room I'm sleeping in..
Oh, "who hasn't", I meant, hasn't. I've been making so many typos lately. DX;
Yeah, I haven't read much sci-fi either, mostly just fantasy, or fictional historical kinds. XD; Um.. I did read Ender's Game though, and thought it was really good.
Heh, I see. No, I'd say the same for Taiwan, that the people here are used to typhoons, but there still are some deaths per year due to typhoons. >^>
Yeah, I tried adjusting during the past school year, the only time I had to adjust, but then it got ruined again, especially when it got to holidays cuz I'd be sleeping in. >O>;;
Lolz. xDD;; I try not to do that, since then I feel bad and all. @[email protected];; Although lately I've been more lax at my posting schedule due to, yeah, you don't need a reminder every post about how busy I am. ^^;; And I do enjoy these a lot too! :> I think I know far more stuff about you and other things now because of this~ =P <3<3
And my classes are all good so far~ :'D <3<3 Nothing boring aside from my Environmental Science class with a monotonous teacher. ^^;; I even have a class on Filipino Pop Culture. xDD;; I mean, tomorrow we're going to be playing videogames to see how the advent of Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom has affected Filipino literature, LOLZ. 8DD;; Totally wasn't expecting that in my class, but hey, what's fun is fun, and I would much rather do that than be bored now, right? ^^;;
You sure you don't? D: </3
Lolz, wait, what line? xDD;; I'm confuzzled now. ^^;;
And nope, I'm not. ;_; So hard to find time to read! :< I can barely keep up with my current readings right now, much less read for my own pleasure. >.>;; It's so sad, really. :x </3
Lolz, true that. xDD;; But hey, at least there's always something to laugh about, right? ^^;; I mean, without ridiculous things, we'd be a very boring race and all. 8DD;;
That's true. :x Then again, endings are always very tricky to begin with, and it's very difficult to find a proper and good enough ending for stories. >.>;; I myself always find that part difficult. :<
Woah, really? =O How lucky for you guys! =P I wish my high school was like that, lolz. xDD;;
And yeah, my dad cooks a LOT more than my mom too. xDD;; He's an AWESOME cook. =O Like, seriously. He keeps getting prodded by people to open a restaurant, but he's too lazy right now to do so, even if everyone encourages him to do so. ^^;; My dad's very... umm, flighty in that sense. 8DD;;
And yeah, we did. >.>;; Mostly for cooking classes only though. :x The school only ever provided for the utensils and other hard-to-find ingredients. ^^;;
And wait... MY ankle? o_O;; I think you mean your grandmother's, right? xDD;; Anyhows, that's good to hear then! :> <3<3 Popsicles are always a very nice treat to eat, especially during the really hot days. ^^;;
And why are you just sitting around? =O You should go and find other stuff to do! =P I mean, don't waste this time out of the country, right? xDD;; Then again, that's just my opinion~ =P As long as you're enjoying yourself, then that's fine then. :>
Yeah, true. :x Let's forget about it then and move on...? 8DD;;
And yeah, exactly. xDD;; Sorry I was wording myself weird. @[email protected];; </3
And woah, really? o_O;; Maybe you're some sort of long lost dust bunny queen or something!! =O That would explain SO much. xDDDD;;
*is tired and not thinking straight right now*
>.>;;
Lolz, it's all right. xDD;; <3<3
And what's Ender's Game? =O I think I heard about it before, but I've forgotten what I've heard about it, in all honesty. ^^;;
Yeah, that's true. :< Typhoons are nasty things. D: I actually find it alarming how used to it we are over here. >.>;; I mean, it's not something people should be used to and comfortable with, I think. :x
LOLZ. xDD;; I think that people like us can never have a "regular" sleep schedule that stays the same no matter what. 8DD;; I mean, it's not natural! D: Lolz. xDD;;
Same here. :< I don't know how I can change the habit though! D: </3
Likewise, hehe~
Conversation is the best way to learn about other people, I think. 8D
Aww, hope the enviro class isn't too long. owo;
Your pop culture class sounds so interesting though. XD Is it a big class? Are there lots of different times for it offered?
Yup, pretty sure. 83
The line about boring readings aren't meant to be read fast. XD
That's too bad. D8 But I know the feeling.
I've read so much more (fun reading) in the month or so since the start of my vacation than all the fun reading I read the whole school year, it feels like. D8;
Or too serious of a race, and being too serious doesn't do much in adding to the happiness of one's life. >o>;
Yeah, that's true. Though I find writing any part of a story as difficult. XD
Haha, I know how that is, that flighty sense. XD
Heh~ I see. What kinds of ingredients did you use that were considered hard to find? 8O
Ah! The typos continue, I'm sorry. DX
I was quite distracted when I was typing up my reply because my mom and sister had just arrived from the States. I had to keep stopping mid-sentence and such. >.< But yeah, popsicles are quite refreshing and do much in the reviving side. XD
Mostly because I don't have anyone else around to do anything with, heh. My dad's usually pretty busy with meeting people and such, and I don't do much wandering on my own. 8D;; But it's already the first day since my sister came and we went out looking for stuff, even making a bunch of purchases from stores. XD And then it rained, and we didn't bring an umbrella because we weren't even planning to stay out so long or that far (not really) from home. XD;
*forgets about it and moves on* >w>
I was just triple checking to make sure I understood correctly. XD
That would be quite interesting, haha~
It's making me make weird mental images anyway. XDD
It's by Orson Scott Card. A boy named Andrew Wiggins (calls himself Ender) gets taken to a sort of military academy up in space, at only 6 years old (either that or younger), and the book covers the two to three years he spends there. I don't really want to say much else cuz it might give away some of the story. XD; But I really like Orson Scott Card's books, so when I find the time, I'm gonna get my hands on the other books from the series to read. 8D
No, it's not something people should be used to, at least in the sense that people get used to how many people suffer or die from typhoon-related situations. But people can still try to know those time to better protect themselves during future typhoons. 8<
Haha, not natural, but would bring some better sense of order to our lives, I think. XDD
Very true. :> Communication is very important indeed if you want to learn more about other people. ^^ <3<3
It's an hour and thirty minutes held twice a week. >.>;; I can live, I guess. xDD;; Although, since it's at 8:30am in the morning, I think I'll be dozing off a lot i that class, I can just feel it. @[email protected];; </3
And, well, the class is only very interesting because I managed to get one of the best and more interesting and awesome professors around. xDD;; He only does classes in the late afternoon because he's nocturnal (lulz xDD), and I was VERY lucky to get him (he has a demand of over 300 students, and his class only has around 30 to 40 at max xDD). :> So, I plan to make the most out of this very... coveted opportunity. 8DD;;
And okies then, if you say so... ^^;;
OHH, I see. xDD;; Lolz, that just came up from the top of my head. ^^;; It IS true though. D: I mean, boring IS associated with slowness sometimes, if you think about it. =P Lolz. xDD;;
Lucky you then! =P Summer is definitely a good time to read and everything. :> And relax. The latter especially. 8DD;; <3<3
Yeah, very true. :x I don't connect as well with people who're overly serious about everything. :x Mostly cause I don't see why you would want to put all your energy into being serious, and because I don't really understand how they can stay serious for their whole lives. xDD;; I mean, I myself am very serious when I need to be, and am generally on the serious side, I guess, but I wouldn't want to stay serious forever. @[email protected];; It sometimes confuses me, personally. ^^;; But hey, everyone is different, and I accept that. xDD;; I just don't understand it at times, is all. =P
LOLZ. xDD;; True~ =P Although, the beginnings and endings tend to be the more difficult ones. D: For me, the start of a story is ALWAYS the hardest. D: </3 The middle is usually a LOT easier for me, and the ending gives me difficulty when I'm indecisive or uninspired (which is often xDD). >.>;;
Yeah, I do too. xDD;; I'm more like my dad personality-wise than my more-serious mom. ^^;; Although, people say that I'm a split of the two, and it's just that I lean more on my dad's side than my mom's. 8DD;;
And lolz! xDD;; At least you have someone to hang out with then! =P How about cousins or other relatives or something? :>
*moves on with you*
>.>;;
xDD;;
Okies then~ 8DD;; Glad that that's cleared up now. xDD;; <3<3
LOLZ. 8DD;; That'd be an interesting scenario, if not irritating, to say the least. ^^;;
Oohh, I see. =O And woah, the protagonist is around 8 or 9 years old only? o_O;; That's interesting. Writing little kids are hard, if you ask me. D: </3 There's always a fine balance between being child-like and being, umm, unrealistic in terms of naivety and the like. >.>;;
Anyhows, I'll check that out as well then. :3 <3<3
Lolz, you're giving me too many things to read! xDD;; I wish I just had more time for that. :<
And yeah, that's true. :x Although, there aren't a lot of precautions taken, at least not enough, if you ask me. >.>;; People just expect it to come, and then in the same vain also just expect it to leave just as quickly and that they'll be unscathed since they're so used to it. :x </3
But who says that life needs to be organized and in order in that sense? >X3 Lolz! xDD;;
Because of that though, I've been asking my maids to double and triple check on me to make sure I wake up. xDD;; Sometimes my brother and parents do the same. >.>;; Although, it doesn't happen too often. D: Especially since my entire family has practically the same sleeping pattern. 8DDD;;
Haha, not that bad, I guess.
But I know how slow those hour and a half classes can be on some days. XD;
Sucks that it's in the morning though. D8;
Ooh, lucky lucky, haha~ X'D
Due to the more modern faster-paced way of life, I think. XD
So when boring is associated with 'waste of time' makes it seem like our days are going by that much slower. >w>;
Yesh, I always try to get as much reading into the summer as I can, haha~
But then my mom yells at me, saying I should spend my summer doing more active or fun stuff instead of just sitting/lying down somewhere reading. >^>
Haha~ I'm not really serious most of my time, just.. calm, I guess. XD;
But people who are too serious are also too tense, I think, and only look ahead to the future instead of just enjoying the present times. I used to be like that sorta.. but now I'm often like.. whatever, sure! whenever something comes up and I feel like I have other things to do. Makes for some rather fun times and makes me grateful for the rare times I can just hang out with people and not think about stuff I'm stressing over.. or something. XD
Heh~ That breakdown makes sense. owo
Sometimes I could start stuff, but get stuck on not know how to go on.. but that would be more of writers block than dealing with difficulty, huh? XD;
I'm not really sure which parent I most resemble, personality- and appearance-wise. I have my dad's stubbornness, but also my mom's open-mindedness. A lot of people say I look more like my dad, but some say I look like my mom more. I think I look equally like both though, especially because they look sort of similar to each other to begin with. XD
No, they're all in the States, haha, and too busy to come back for the summer. And I'm not really that close with my cousins from my mom's side. >o>; Otherwise, some friends of mine are coming here (or near Taiwan) after the time I'll be heading back to America. XD;
Hmm.. makes me feel like starting a story about a dust bunny queen and her bizarre adventures. XD
Yeah, it's really quite thought-provoking. >O>
It's weird though, because at times they would speak with child-like behavior, but they're supposed to be more intelligent than other kids (which is why they get picked in the first place) so they speak with relative formality as well. @[email protected]
Haha, aww, I'm sorry. Finding stuff to read is a good/bad habit of mine, my to-read-list almost never ends up empty at a time. XD;
Ahh, yeah, that too. I usually don't worry about hurricanes much anymore (as long as I stay inside). And not every summer brings on a really terrible powerful hurricane to our area, so that adds to the 'used to it'-ness, I think. >^>;
Haha, people who already have their lives organized in such a way? XDD
XDD Our house maid just wakes me up when it's time to eat lunch, cuz I usually end up staying late reading or something. XD; But I only have a housemaid here in Taiwan. In America, my mom, my sister, and I are just left with our alarm clocks; and we also all pretty much share the same sleeping habits. 8D;
Yeah, tell me about it. @[email protected];; Like, I almost dozed off just yesterday in that class. D: Didn't help that his slides have the TINIEST font EVER (no kidding) and looked unappealing in general... >.>;; </3
Yes, very lucky indeed~ xDD;; <3<3
Yeah, that's a good point you just brought up. =O I didn't think about seeing it that way until you mentioned it. ^^;; Interesting though~ :3 Suddenly reminds me of this article I had to read for one class about how we're so devoted to things that speed things up for us. ^^;;
Really? :< Awws. :x It's your summer, so you should do what you want in it, right? >.>;; But, then again, reading during your whole summer isn't exactly the best solution either, I think...? xDD;; A mix of both reading and outdoor activities are always nice. ^^ <3<3
Calm and serious are entirely different things. xDD;; <3<3
Hmm, that's true. =O Now that you mention it though, some of my more serious moments are when I start to think about the future and how it'll pan out of me if I do one thing instead of another. ^^;;
And yeah, it definitely helps to me spontaneous once in a while. :3 While I wouldn't be spontaneous TOO often, I love the, ermm, "spice of life" it adds. xDD;; And yeah, I totally got that from a quote. 8DD;; <3<3
Yeah, maybe that's writer's block. =O Although, it's closely related with difficulty though, I think. Writer's block to me is one sort of difficulty that writers can encounter. :3
LOLZ. xDD;; I giggled when you mentioned that your parents look alike in the first place. ^^;; Maybe that's what confuses people then? 8DD;;
Awws, then you're just gonna barely miss your friends who're visiting after you leave then! :<
You could always try getting to know your cousins from your mom's side of the family...? =O <3<3
LOLOLZ. xDD;; Please do tell me about it if you decide to pursue the idea. 8DDD;; <3<3
Oohh, I like thought-provoking stuff. :>
Yeah, it's a sorta confusing topic all-together, if you ask me. ^^;;
LOLZ. xDD;; It's all right~ :3 I should start writing down what you suggest to me though, so that I won't lose it when I find the time to read again. =P
Hmm, true. :x
Speaking of typhoons though, one just passed us by yesterday. xDD;;
I still had classes though. >.>;; Grade school and high school didn't though. So, my brother didn't have classes for two days. D: </3
LOLOLZ. xDD;; Oohh, touche~ >;]
Lolz, it runs in the family then for you? xDD;; Same here! =P I swear, my family is always trying to change our habits, but we have yet to be successful so far... >.>;; </3
Heh, it seems to be true, time and efficiency is what draws people in.
Also makes me think of microwave dinners. XD
Yes, a mix would be best, but my mom would like less of my reading during my summer. >^> And I don't think my eyes could take reading for a whole summer. XD
Haha~ XD Spontaneity in life is good. 8D
But I don't think too much of it suits my Virgo personality? XD
Sorta like how artists come up with different ways to overcome artist's block, the difficulty in expressing an idea. 8O
XD Over here, we say they have 'fuqilian', literally husband-wife-face.
I can't think of how to translate that in English, but yeah, that's probably what makes peole undecided about who I look like more. 8D;
Yeah, some of them, at least. ^ ^;
But I have to move to my apartment once school starts, so I don't get much chance to meet them anyway, during the school year. 8<
Yeah, but they're all busy with graduation and such, and school entrance exams are always stressful times here. XD;
Yes, I think I really will decide to go with it, and use my summer to do all set all the general ideas and such, taking advantage of the summer mood to give myself a clear mind. XD
You should make a post in the 50 book-challenge thread, if you haven't already~ 8D
Or you could just make a blog entry to keep track of a to-read-list. X'D
Haha, I think I saw that one on the news. XD
There's one that's coming close to Taiwan this weekend, but won't actually move over the island, so we'll be relatively safe, haha. Sucks that your brother got a break and you didn't though. D8
X'DD
Yeah, we've tried several times as well, but I don't know if any of us have been successful, even for a bit. XD;
Yeah, same here. D: It takes a lot of squinting to decipher the text. :< Especially when they're in big blocks. D: Which is the case with my professor. x_x;; My poor eyes are not strong enough to read it from the back. :< Might have to sit in front just to get a decent look at them... >.>;;
LOLZ at the microwave dinners. xDD;;
I don't eat those kinds of food a lot, actually. ^^;; Helps that we have a lot of people who can cook here. 8DD;;
Ohh, I see, I see. =O
What else do you do during the summer though, if I may ask? :> Aside from reading and going to Taiwan~ =P <3<3
And hmm, never thought of horoscopes in this case. xDD;; Well, it's especially not good for my Cancer self, since according to all the stuff about Cancers, we like lots of stability and are not very open to changes. ^^;; Which I think suits me, but I'm definitely a lot less extreme than what that says. xDD;; I prefer things to be planned out, but spontaneity is not something I rebel against or anything. =P
Yeah, that's a good point. =O
Ahh, art in its many forms always attract any kind of difficulty or blockage because of what it needs to function properly, I think. ^^;;
Oohh, interesting. =O Yay! I learned something new today! xDD;; <3<3
It's exams for students over there right now? =O Awws, that sucks. D: </3
My cousins from Canada were lucky that they got to visit here during May, which was still summer for us, and therefore we had lots of time to hang out with them and such. ^^;;
Oohh, don't forget to send me a link/copy of the story! xDD;; That would make an interesting read~ =P
And I do have a post over there. ^^;;
It's just not very updated. D:
Well, actually it is, and it just hasn't moved since I last updated because I haven't progressed since then. xDD;;
Really? =O Cool...? xDDD;;
Yeah, it sucks indeed. D: Ah wells, at least he went to school today. But then it's Friday, so it's the weekend tomorrow anyway and therefore doesn't matter much... >.>;; </3
And, well, we can all just keep trying then...? 8DDD;;
I wear glasses whenever a class uses the slide projector, heh. But I still don't like to wear them cuz they give me a headache sometimes, or make me feel sleepy. >.<
I've only had them like, twice in my life, haha~
I've just seen lots of commercials for them in the times that I watch tv, and lots of movies have them too, as sort of typical in an American household. XD; But yeah, Filipino food is awesome~ 8'D
Mm.. sometimes go to the beach and hang out with friends or close cousins. Other times it's just staying at home and surfing the net. XD And as always, I spend quite a bit of time drawing, haha. Usually my family takes a trip during the summer travelling. We were originally gonna go to Europe with my uncle's tour group, but it didn't happen ( I may or may not have mentioned this to you before XD ). Last year, we spent something like 4-5 days in Kyushu. owo
I think of horoscopes in the most random times. XDD
Sort of reminds me of how difficult art is in the first place, like how to define what is art, and what isn't. owo
Haha, is there something sort of close to it in Tagalog, or just in Filipino culture? 8O
Well, studying time anyway. I think the national college entrance exams is coming up.. ish. So students are all working hard at cram school to prepare. @[email protected]
Haha, I won't forget. XD
Though I'm thinking about making it as a comic, so who knows? I'll have to spend a lot of time thinking about it to make sure I actually go through with it (which is what I want to do); and that also means it might be a long while yet before I even finish something for you to see. X'D
! XD I should go give RyRy's post a look~ >w>
Yeah, my sister's been wanting to get out and go to the night markets, but we've been putting it off until we get better weather. I think they may try to go tonight. XD
Ahaha~ Well, just focus on the thought that the weekend is just around the corner then and have the past be in the past. X'D
I use glasses too! =O They're fuchsia ~ 8DD;; <3<3
My grade is higher than normal, and I technically SHOULD be wearing glasses, but I don't. ^^;;
I don't think they suit me. D: Lolz. xDD;; Plus, wearing them for too long also gives me headaches. >.>;; </3
How do they taste...? xDD;;
And yeah, it is~ ^^
Although, I don't appreciate it as much as I should, because I'm so used to it already. xDD;;
Ohh, interesting~ =O And yeah, you did mention that tour to Europe via your uncle before. :>
And oohh, Kyushu! That's awesome. I've never been there myself. D: I need to travel a lot more. >.>;; Lolz~ 8DD;; <3<3
Do you believe in horoscopes though, if I may ask? =O <3<3
Yeah, that's very true. @[email protected];; Art is very subjective, after all. =P It's part of what art is in the first place~ ^^;; <3<3
Hmm... no, actually. =O You just say that the child looks like his/her parents or something. xDD;; No shortcut word for it, as far as I know. ^^;; In fact, that word you just mentioned is the first time I heard something like it. xDD;;
Ohh, I see, I see. =O It's also nearing the tie for entrance exams to college here as well. My brother is taking them this year btw~ Lolz, just sharing. ^^;;
A comic would be much more entertaining, I think. xDD;; I think it would suit the topic more? =O
And no worries, I'm a very patient person when it comes to stuff like this. >83 Lolz~ xDD;;
And okies then? 8DD;; I should look at your post too then! =P
Oohh, that's gonna be awesome! =O I do hope you get to go tonight. :> <3<3
Lolz, I guess. 8DD;; Still unfair though. D: </3
Yeah, eventually being the key word right there... xDD;;
Btw, did you notice that our textwalls are getting shorter? =O
RyRy - I think mine are just black, or metally, a thin metal frame. XD
Another one I have has a thin white frame, but I don't use that one often. 8D;
I'm only supposed to wear them when I have to read something far away, when I'm driving, and when I've stayed in front of the tv or laptop for more than.. an hour? But, of course, aside from driving, and reading things ( which I can't really help, haha ), I don't pay much attention to when I should be wearing them. XD;;
They're okay, haha. I just had them for the convenience, and laziness in trying to make food out of our barely providing refrigerator. XD;
I could say the same thing about chinese food, haha~ Though some people don't like some of the dishes we tend to eat on a more or less regular basis. XDD;
Kyushu was quite lovely to look around in. Lots of trees, and really green trees too! 8D
To an extent, I guess. Sometimes I see as just another way to sort of.. generalize or categorize groups of people, from a point of view that just tries to make logical sense of things, haha. I really look only as far as the general traits of a person of a certain constellation. I don't look as far as like.. Leos will feel such and such in their romantic life this week/month/time period, or Virgos beware of this coming week/month/time period. o^o
I could keep going with the art discussion, but I really don't have that much of an opinion of it, or know enough of how art critics and theorists and such have defined art, to continue. >.<
Oh, no no, the phrase doesn't really have to do with a child. It's more to talk about the couple, to say that.. like, they look like they'd be a couple. *doesn't know how else to word it* XD;
Ooh, good luck to your brother on doing well with the exam(s) then. 8'3
Yeah, I think being literally more visual would suit it more, haha~
What if procrastination is unintentionally involved? XDD;;
Oh wait, why do I think I even replied to your 50 challenge list post at some point in time, maybe? At least, I remember seeing your list, and the talk of Twilight around your posting time. XD; What did you think of One More Day? 83
It rained, haha~ But my mom and sister managed to buy a printer before it really started to pour. XD ( But they forgot to buy paper. XDD )
Haha, payback for the unfairness will come in time. X'D
Yup yup. XD Hopefully, it's not when I'm like, 30-something. XDD;
Yeah, I did notice. 8O
I must be getting tired or something, haha. XD;
We had reached a pinnacle in our textwalling earlier, so I guess this is the downhill part of the roller coaster now. XDD
*prods at NumNum*
You know you wanna join us though... >83
Lololz~ 8DD;; <3<3
I'm sure it fits your face though? :3 Not sure if mine suits me as well as it should. >.>;;
And why don't you use that? =O White is fab~ >8d Lolz~ xDD;; <3<3
And oh! Are you near-sighted for far-sighted? =O
LOLZ. xDD;; Well, at least you're making use of modern technology...? 8DD;;
And hmm, I like Chinese food, but I don't think I can eat it as often as you guys do, probably. ^^;; Wanton Noodle Soup is my absolute favorite, lolz. :> <3<3
Oohh! Luscious green trees sound so lovely to look at and appreciate. =O <3<3
In the city, we don't get much of those around here, sadly. ;_; </3
Ohh, I see, I see. =O We feel the same way then, from what you've just said. :> I believe in the personality stuff, but I never believe in the daily/weekly/monthly horoscopes. xDD;; They've never been true for me, and I doubt they ever will. ^^;; They make for an entertaining read with friends though when you wanna make fun of something, I guess. xDD;;
Awws, I see. =O Well, what's your current opinion right now though? :> As in, just your personal opinion. ^^ No need to see if it verifies with other opinions or whatever. 8DD;;
And ohh, I see. =O Hmm, we don't have a word for that either. xDD;; The closest thing we probably have is "Bagay sila," which in one of it's many meanings means that they would look really good together if ever they decided to become a couple. ^^;;
... or am I missing the mark again? xDD;;
Thankies for the luck. ^^ <3<3
I do hope he passes the exams he's taking... =O
My parents are worried that he won't take them seriously enough. xDD;;
He's the genius type that's INCREDIBLY lazy, and they're scared that his laziness will kick in instead of his natural smartness when exams come. 8DD;;
True that~ :3
And, well, my bad memory can just kick in then so that I'll be very surprised and happy when it does come? xDD;; <3<3
Yeah, there was much buzz about Twilight when I posted my list. xDD;; But I don't remember you commenting on it...? o_O;; I can't really say. 8DD;;
And One More Day was nice. ^^ I prefer Mitch Albom's other two books to it, but I do love the stuff it mentions, and the surprise twist in the end. :> <3<3 Inspirational books are one of my favorites, even though I can't read a lot of them consecutively else I get kinda bored. xDD;;
What did you think of it yourself? :> <3<3
LOLOLZ. xDD;; That's funny~ 8DD;; They can buy paper today then...? xDD;;
Yeah, hopefully it does. >.>;; </3
Make that WE must be getting tired. xDD;;
And LOLZ, I guess you're right. 8DD;;
Maybe it's because we talked about deeper topics earlier like philosophy and neutrality? 8DD;;
Not to say that what we're talking about now isn't deep or anything, but it's a little more on the trivial side compared to our earlier topics. =P <3<3
Hehe~ I think I remember having seen some of those textwalls. X'D
RyRy - What do you mean it doesn't suit you as well as it should? XD;
Cuz the white is really bright, and I don't wear a lotta bright things. XDD
Near-sighted. @[email protected] You?
I suppose, but I still prefer the home-cooked meals. XD
I think I have too many favorite Chinese foods. X'D
Yeah, cuz Kyushu cities are more rural. The island also has a lot of hills, I've realized, haha. I like how Taipei has several parks scattered all over, haha, and a lot of the main streets are lined with trees. XD
I've never really checked if they came true for me. I just know I have a friend who somewhat regularly checks up on hers. XDD But yeah, it can sometimes be quite entertaining, haha, amusing, at least~ XD
I just think that art is whatever a person defines it to be, either by the viewer or the creator. Simply that, but everyone always likes to make things complicated, and something so vague as the term 'art' can easily be made complicated. >^<
No, that's pretty much what it means, I think, haha~
But I think you can also use 'Fuqilian' for two people who already are a married couple? @[email protected]
Haha, I see. That wouldn't be too good, would it? XD;
Is he gonna try for a more prestigious college? 8O
And it'll just become some random fun that I decided to spring on you, just because~ X'DD <3
I was probably thinking of a reply and never posted it then, haha. XD;;
Oh, I haven't read it yet, haha. But I think it was.. during high school? In one of my classes, we watched Tuesdays with Morrie. owo I don't think I'd read it, but I probably should, haha~
They were going to, but they got lazy again, and now it's raining. XDD;
Haha~ XDD
Probably. 83 Before, we had stuff that was more inviting to wordier discussion. XD
Oh noes! D:
*hides behind Rannie*
I dun wanna get blamed for assaulting Kita. >.>;;
xDDD;;
And, umm, I mean that I wish glasses looked as good on me as it did for other people. >.>;; Like, there are a lot of people who definitely look really better with glasses than without them. I'm just sadly not one of those people. ;_; </3
And ohh, lolz. xDD;; But it's fashion-forward...? 8DDD;; <3<3
And yeah, I'm near-sighted as well. ^^;;
Home-cooked meals are definitely better than microwaved ones. 8DD;; <3<3
And lolz. xDD;; That's good then! =P Since it's a part of who you are, after all~ ^^
Hills? =O Hills are pretty and nice to frolic in, LOLZ. xDD;; <3<3
And woah, that sounds so peaceful. :3 That's great of them to do that. ^^ I just wish my city here was as, umm, caring with the environment. >.>;; I mean, we do have parks around here, but they're not as pronounced and all as they should be. :x
Lolz, do they come true for your friend then? xDD;; I'd like to know. =P
My friends and I have had many a laugh because of horoscopes, now that I think about it. ^^;;
That's a nice view of art, I must agree. :>
Hmm, that's true. =O Sometimes the right answers are just the simplest ones, and sometimes they're also just the easiest ones to find. 8DD;; <3<3
Okies then~ xDD;; Glad I didn't misunderstand you again. ^^;;
Oh, really? =O Same with our, "Bagay sila," statement then. :> It's just means that two people look good together as a couple after all. There's no restrictions on whether they have to be married, or even if they're currently an item in the first place. xDD;;
He's gonna try to pass all the entrance exams. =P He doesn't want to be beaten by me, since he's a pretty proud person. 8DD;;
Oohh, random fun is always very loved. :> <3<3
Lololz~ 8DD;;
Lolz, maybe. xDD;; If that's the case, then I definitely wouldn't know if that was true or not. 8DD;;
The book is better than the movie, I think, because the movie focuses more on the relationship between Mitch Albom and his wife Janine, rather than more himself. ^^;; Or, at least, there's a lot more focus on Morrie in the books. =P <3<3 You should totally give it a read if you find the time. :3 Some of the things said there are very inspiring. :>
LOLOLZ. xDD;;
Then... tomorrow? 8DD;; It's a Sunday, after all. ^^;;
Yeah, that's true. xDD;;
Makes me want to start again on the wordier discussions though. =P
Although, I'm seriously fresh out of ideas. 8DD;;
Ohh, I see, haha. I don't think I look better with glasses on either, but maybe it's just cuz I haven't found the type of glasses that'd really suit me yet. XD;
And I wish I was good enough to make some of my own. XD
Do you have a favorite Filipino dish? XD
Ahaha~ We weren't really given much chance to frolic on the hills though, we had to pass through them by bus. XD
Well, Taiwan's pretty small, and still retains it's island-y look in a lot a lot of places, so I guess having the small parks and trees is just.. affordable. XD;
I'm not really sure, I just remember her telling me that she reads them. XD
I think they're often true for her?
What's your personal opinion on art, if you don't mind me asking? XD
Yup yup~ But at other times the hardest to find because we don't expect the answers to our questions to be right under our noses. D8
Heh~ Yay, I've learned something new! 8'D
I don't know how to use it, but at least if I hear it someday, I'll know what it means. XDD
Haha~ Good sibling rivalry. X'D
Yay~ 8'D
XDD
Cool~ I shall add it to my to-read-list then. X'3
Do you have a favorite book by Mitch Albom? 8O
Yeah, probably, haha~
It looks like it might not rain today. owo
That's okay, I've found something to keep me busy, and lessen the time I spend just sitting in front of a laptop. XD;
Has school's busy-ness been increasing recently? 8O
Well, we should both set out on some sort of search for the perfect pair of glasses then! >83
It's one of the things I need to do before I die, lololz. xDD;;
LOLZ, same here, same here. >.>;; Aside from baking and breakfast foods, I can't cook a damn thing to save my life, even if my life depended on it. D: </3
And my favorite Filipino dish? =O It would have to be... Tapa/Tapsilog or Sinigang. 8DD;; <3<3
What's your favorite Chinese dish? :>
Awws. :< That's too bad. It would have been nice. xDD;;
And lolz, affordable? 8DD;; Not exactly the word I was expecting when I was reading, but it does make sense, now that you mention it, I guess. ^^;;
Oohh, really? =O How awesome. I haven't met anyone who's horoscopes hold true for them on a regular basis. xDD;;
And my personal opinion on art...? =O
Hmm... I really don't have a specific opinion on it, now that I think about it. ^^;; But I do believe that art is definitely a creative medium for which all kinds of people can express what they feel and share what they know to others in hopes that someone will understand what they feel and stuff. :> Art for me is a way of reaching out to others in a more, umm, "primal" way, if you get what I mean. ^^;; Art for me is also very subjective. Something like how someone's words can mean different things to other people depending on their experiences, backgrounds, and the like. :3
And yeah, that's true. D: Those moments at least reel you back in from thinking too deeply into things, at least for me. ^^;; Those moments, however annoying, do bring me back to the fact that I should never over-think something, no matter how much I want to. xDD;;
Part of being someone who likes symbolisms is over-thinking everything. ^^;; After all, looking for symbolisms in things involves such kind of thinking. 8DD;;
Yay for you then! :'D <3<3
And yeah, at least you'll know. xDD;; Although, the "real" meaning of, "Bagay sila," is, "They are things." xDD;; The way which we were talking about initially is more like some sort of slang for it. =P No idea how it went from one meaning to the next, but yeah, it's part of the weirdness of languages. xDD;;
It's only one-sided though, honestly. xDD;; I couldn't care less if he was better at me and stuff. 8DD;; I have my own problems to deal with, and there's no point in making rivalry another problem when it shouldn't be, right? 8DD;;
And hmm... I've only read three of his books (Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, and One More Day), but I would have to say that I enjoyed The Five People You Meet In Heaven the best. :> Only slightly more than Tuesdays with Morrie though, since I liked the execution of the story of the former more than the latter, despite me liking the lessons of the latter more than the former. ^^;; (hope that doesn't confuse you xDD)
Oohh, that's a good thing then, right? =O <3<3
That's good news then. :3 <3<3
And, well, no. >.>;; But I'm learning to deal with it as I go. xDD;;
No assault. All is good. :hug: I haven't seen you in a while, RyRy. ^.^
Lura:: You probably have seen some of them. We have text walls a lot. XD In my thread too.
Oh, guess what! My nana got me a new computer monitor, and its so big and pretty and the colors are lovely and bright and crisp. -snuggles it- ^w^ I'll be able to do my little art freebies for random people again, now that I don't have the weird color issues of the old monitor. :D
RyRy - Really now? XD
I think I'll just stick with the all-natural no glasses for as long as I can. X'DD
*sigh* Learning to cook really good food - a goal I need to reach before I die. D8
What's that? 8DD;;
Mm.. today made me think of shredded chicken with cold noodles, so I'll say that. XD But Taiwanese sausages are really good too, hehe~
Yeah, I dunno, affordable is the only one that seems to come to my mind. XD;
Maybe she's stayed true to her horoscope on a more or less regular basis. XDD;
Yup, I understand the primal meaning. I had to study Van Gogh, so that helps a little bit, I think, haha~
I personally think that's the point for those moments. XD
But yeah, I tend to overthink things before just taking things at face value. Oftentimes, I feel like when things aren't simply as they seem, they feel a bit more meaningful. But I've found that some of those simple what-you-see-is-what-you-get things can hold quite a bit of meaning as well. 8O
Heh~ 8O
You mean like in English how we say two people are 'an item'? *scratches head* XD
Haha, sibling rivalry doesn't always have to be full of problems though. XD
