our teachers can block our computers and internet!

its purely insulting and all the websites like youtube, veoh,myspace are all blocked we can

only use educational ones like bbc bitesize and samlearning....grrr

You can still get on Weebls-Stuff as long as you don't put www. which makes it easier to get onto most blocked sites because it's a near fool proof way round the site blockers.

Get used to it. Most work places also have third party blocking companies that mark of sites for barring at work. I could give you a nice long list of work friendly and not so work friendly sites I could ring off that are blocked where I work.

Personally, I'm jsut happy I can' actually use the internet at work.... most people can't. It's much better then my retail jobs.

You just learn to get creative or find interesting little places that haven't been blocked. Like here. Though I'm waiting for the day I'll come in and decide to log on to Mene and it will be blocked ;_; . I shall have a shit fit.

Wikipedia is actually pretty great for entertainment, but then again I'm one of those weird people that actually likes to read and learn things.

Someone has been going round Wikipedia and changing the how you pronounce the words, I've seen it on quite a few pages on there someone has been messing about with the pronunciation mainly on linking pages.

Do you gusy live in a intense security prison or something? I think your teachers and everything else have mroe systems and rules in place then most jails I've heard of. Bar strip searchs that is.

no our school sucks but because its so crap they put more money than they have

into security...the registers always got lost or something and they replaced them with laptops

and a teacher cant be near a phone so they made sure the laptops have message senders to senior managment when they have a problem student...

they also attach notes to names and now know if your late for class at the end of day in enrichment when the tutor asks where you were for this lesson and why their is no mark
