I logged into Gaia for the first time in about two years back in September, and I was in an enormous culture shock. I didn't know what the hell was happening! The aquarium thing caught my attention for a while... until I realized you needed Gaia Cash to buy a key to open one of those chest things... Then I was just friggin' mad. >_<

I love mythological items. That's why I'm glad that a good slew of the recent CIs here have been based on some form of mythology or other!

gaia was my first avatar community i ever registered
then roliana, which right now i hate.. i'm just so tired of those avatars, i feel like they all look the same..
especially on some events, when items are free, 90% of users have the avatars with those items, i feel like i'm the only one in a twins layer

1. there are no classes for freshman at my school
2. im on the yearbook as a photographer though. 1 of the 6 in the class, out of like 20 who wanted to do it. and i am the only frosh.

I'm not really in any cool classes this year. :sweat:

here we don't have this kind of classes/groups
if we want to do something and if more want to become a part of it,
we are transforming the whole thing in a big project and we do what we like to do
for example we were watching the comedy YES MAN and we saw there some people who were taking photos while jogging XD so we did it too, with very expensive cameras, so that they won't be that blurry
it was so much fun

My courseload this year is... odd. ._.
I have AP English, French V Honors, and AP Economics all back-to-back in the morning, then I have a block period of study hall (which is Cardio twice a week), then another block period of study hall (two WHOLE HOURS of study hall three times a week! It's heaven), then lunch, then a period of Statistics, and then Psychology.
The second half of the year, I'll have a study hall in place of Statistics, and I'll switch from Psychology to Digital Imaging... Which should be fun. C:<

Needless to say, I have so much study hall crap on my schedule!
I'm glad I'm a senior, but at the same time I want out of this craphole!

what class i hate.. logic.. i don't understand anything from that class, i feel like an alien! she keeps saying 'All S are P', "Few S are P" and i'm like huh?? o.O

I took my school's photography class last year, and it was fun, but not so much my thing. I like phtography on my own, not as something for a class... Plus we did all these weird projects.
The best class in my the school has GOT to be Women in Literature. <3 I'm in the first ever class of it right now, and we all love it. It's more awesome than mythology, and that class rocked.

Facade- My dad tried to suggest I take a study hall, and I about died. I'm under the impression I won't graduate if I don't, or something. XD I totally recognize that that's goofy, but I still panic about it.
I'll be getting early release next year, though. I'll have more than enough credits to graduate by the end of this year, and I really just need to take AP government and AP English 12 because you can't graduate without them. But I still have to fill up four other bells. Three of wich will be precalc and some science or other, and then Spanish IV, so I have four years of each.

i feel like if i were to do classes for what i like to do most (in your case pietro, photography), i would've started to get bored of what i'm doing
cause in classes, they also start to teach you how to do this, how to do that, and i feel like i'm losing my own style and i'm transforming it into the teacher's style

Ella- I like other art classes, because I feel like I'm learning new ways of doing things and being exposed to totally new kinds of art (like in sculpture, we made things out of carboard, paper mache, copper, and our final was a model of a work of public art we designed and then created with whatever materials we wanted.) And in the drawing classes I've been in, it's always been about giving students the very base of what they need to do for the project and then giving them freedom to go from there. Photography class was fun, but more constricting than they were.

well at this sort of classes where it requires a teacher (like doing a sculpture.. i can't even do a mosquito ^^"), yes you need a teacher.. but there are hobbies you just have to.. 'upgrade' them by yourself in order to keep your own style

for example my friend used to draw so beautifully and so she thought of having a carreer from this, so she thought she needed classes. her teacher changed her style totally and she could never draw again like she did before, and it wasn't even that beautiful as she used to draw...

that's why i said what i said... for me, classes are not for what i like to do, are for other things and i'll never mix them together...
