The problem I have with dresses is that it's too easy to buy the dress and say "There. That's my avi." >_> I hate when people do that--you throw money at it and think that's the same as putting effort into it. Or buying a kimono, the wig, the fan, the shoes, and going "There. That's my avi." Matchy matchy looks good and all, I don't like the whole dissonance and discord avis that some people have, but....it's so......thoughtless and boring. I challenged myself to do something ORIGINAL with a kimono, and....voila~

...I like it. *sheepish*

XD I actually thought of doing it for a while, when I was a newbie. Like buy all the stuff from same set and "OH I WILL HAVE A AVVIE". BUT when I first bought my shirt and then skirt of the same set, THE SKIRT LOOKED SO HORRIBLE WITH THE SHIRT that I was forever cured from wearing the same set stuff. XD It doesn't really look thata wesome.
