Well, Chinese could pretty much be considered a native language to me, so it's not too hard I guess, haha. But I'm an ABC kid, so sometimes, it feels uncomfortable to speak it. XD;; Umm.. for this Chinese class, we'd have to turn in weekly essays that could pretty much be on anything. @[email protected]; But we recently watched a movie, so now we have to write about something even remotely related to the movie. XD;; I actually had since.... last Tuesday or so to write this essay. XD;

Yeah, I can imagine the awkwardness. What movie did you guys see? At one point I wrote an essay completely full of jibberish and random sentences...that resulted in an A. XD Just goes to show how much our teacher paid attention to our homework. *sneaky grin* Doubt that's the case with yours. >>;

Indeed, teachers like those are pretty odd and don't come around too much but when they do it's funny to catch them not doing their job. XD It's good that your teacher finds your essays interesting though and is paying attention....but when grading another language you'd think they'd be a little more lenient about grammar and such.
The only classes I got As in were Language, Art, Music, and gym. XD
Yeah, I need to overcome a lot more art fears and mess up once in a while. XD

Yeah, the other Chinese teacher I had, the course below the current one, was pretty cool. The class was fun, and she didn't grade too harshly. 83 My current one graduated from Beijing University, so that probably contributed to her uptightness about the class. XD;

I only got As in gym, Art, Math, and the calculating Science classes. XD;
I really sucked with history, and was only average in English classes, haha.

I really love teachers like that, they tend to leave me with a better outlook on the subject being taught. Meaner, uptight teachers make me dislike the subject sometimes. ><;
Math and History were my worst ones only because math was boring and confusing and history was just boring except for Martin Luther King Jr. and WW2.
I'm taking a small break right now and just doodling my OCs before focusing on commissions. I'll test effects on them to see if I can do anything interesting.

I was kind of unsure how Chinese would be too, since the fun teacher one was my first like, formal Chinese class. It turned out alright though, and I got more and more into learning new characters~ X3 Well, I'm still interested in learning new characters, but classes aren't as fun, and I don't look forward to Chinese class much anymore, only to see friends (which is pretty rare in college too, after making friends with people of almost complete opposite majors. XD).

I'm glad that all my math teachers have been pretty cool. During high school especially, I loved math so much~ I even got an award of recognition or something close to graduation for it. X3 And I'm kind of sad now, because my major(s) don't require math courses -> I haven't taken a math class for almost two years and forgot EVERYTHING! DX;
