Yeah, I found that out not long after I joined here, but I don't think it's not too bad a thing.
I saw that there's a lot of people willing to buy art too, and during events, it seems like with Mene's size of community, there's this right mood or something that actually makes me want to give out art freebies. And I've never felt that way with Gaia's huge community.. I always felt like if I did give them out, most people wouldn't even appreciate the fact that I'm giving them art, or just do those take-and-leave kind of things.

(I've had the laurels, I've just recently stared debating wether I'd like to get rid of them or not! DX)
See, I don't know what to do. D;
I LOVE my laurels...But keeping them, I have the possiblitly of getting hacked...
BUT If I get art...I'll ALWAYS have it! XD
I just REALLY don't know what to do...
Do you think an aucton would go good with just laurels as a prize?! XD
And what if I don't get any art WORTH laurels!? D;
It's not like I could just say, oh, I decided not to give out the laurels! DXXD

Gimmie - Heh, my main was hacked, when I was (and still am) question the nitemare scarf. It was really stupid of me though, and I was really distracted at the time. x^x;
But wow, those laurels be expensive things now, haha~

Not sure? I've never looked around the art commissions forum before, but I'd imagine it'd be hard to find an artist worth the laurels who'd have an open slot? XD; Contests can be pretty rewarding sometimes though, for both the artists and contest hosts~ But like I said, you just need to advertise a whoole lot. >.< And if you're not really in a hurry, then I suppose a long art contest would be good, at least what I'd personally go with. 83
