Celestine just sighed and shook his head again whens he went into explanations about why things were the way they were and all, though he laughed when she mentioned him being a goodwill ambassador for his clan, though it was more a nervous 'ha...ha...right...' kind of laugh. He glanced off to the side holding one arm while looking a little uncomfortable, though he looked back to her again and relaxed when she said that it would probably be easier to go though detaching himself. He huffed and shook his head again. He remained silent until she was done talking and then sighed. "...I'd rather not break ties with her, but I also don't like the idea of being any kind of ambassador." He shook his head slightly and then shrugged. "I don't know anything about that sort of thing... Besides I've spent half of my life trying to avoid things like that. Marius already thinks I'm going to end up where he is, and I don't want to be an elder or anything like that. Aamori is annoying and a real pain in the tail most of the time, but I don't mind her that much. I don't care what her position is, I can talk to her just like anyone else... Well I guess as long as no one else from here is around to listen. That's the only annoying part. I doubt most would like the way I talk to her. She told me to treat her just like everyone else, so I do." He looked up to Hisako again and sighed, "At least you seem to understand what I'm saying... I was kind of surprised. I kind of expected you to just tell me to shut up." he said bluntly. "At any rate...as far as I know our clans are on friendly terms... Isn't that good enough?" he asked, sounding kind of hopeful. He really didn't want to be stuck in some kind of position, but he also sounded like he would consider doing it if it meant that he could see Aamori when he liked. After all...how hard could it be? All he ever saw those people do was smile and wave and act friendly. Then again...that could be...the most difficult job in the world for him.

Nanashi looked over to LaRae again when he heard her opening the window. He took a deep breath and then sighed softly as he watched her return to the bed. "...I...guess so..." he said quietly. He was getting pretty thirsty. He sighed again, looking at LaRae pitifully, his ears drooping a little. "...I'm sorry..." he said quietly. He really hated to make her worry or cause her to wait on him. He normally would have gotten up and insisted on getting it himself, but right now he didn't even feel like raising his head to drink the stuff, let alone getting out of bed to get it.

Hisako waited until he finished and looked back over to him. "I could have told you to shut up, but that wouldn't accomplish anything." She commented firstly. She glanced back towards the door to the bath for a moment, briefly thinking about going to check on Aamori. She gave a sigh and looked back over to Celestine. "The whole ambassador thing was just a suggestion. You can do what ever you're comfortable with... that just seemed like an easy way to get what you wanted." She didn't really know much about what ambassadors did, she just knew that they were special people from other clans who were granted admittance to a territory they weren't from and they were usually there for decent lengths of time. "Aamori didn't really want to be an Elder either, well, her opinion on the matter changes sometimes. When she first came into her voice she was really excited about the idea of being someone that everyone relied on. Now, she's not really like that. She sways between putting up with it because she has no other choice and not wanting to be an Elder, period." She shifted her weight slightly from one side to the other. "As for the way you would normally talk to her, I can't say anything if I'm not around to hear it. But it is preferred that when speaking to her in front of anyone from this clan that you and everyone else use some respect. She isn't like everyone else so most people would find it offensive to talk to her like she was just a normal person." She paused. "I'm sure that's aggravating... I know it took me awhile to get used to how to talk to her and everyone else who's higher up in rank than me. I'm seven years older than her, so I was twenty when I became her trainer. I'd never had a job quite like this before, of course I spoke to Aamori like she was just some average person. It's disrespectful, or at least everyone else sees it that way." She said with a slight nod. "I don't really mind if you talk to her like she's nothing special, but don't do it around anyone from this clan. They won't hesitate to chew you out." She gave a small sigh. "I know our clans are on friendly terms, but I can't say for sure whether or not that would suffice. I can only make a guess based off of what I know, and I still think it would be better to go the ambassador route or something like that." She paused. "After all being someone like an ambassador would give you freedom to come here and give you access to everything you currently have access to. Whereas, if you were just... well... you, then you'd have to go through the annoying process of being checked out at every gate from the main dock to here and wait on a pass to be allowed to roam the island and you'd have to do that every single time you wanted to come here." She looked over at him and shrugged lightly. "If you ask me it's more work to have to get a pass every time." She uttered. "Well... I guess for now, I can look into it. I'll talk to a couple people and see if I can't get a more accurate answer as to how it would work for you to be able to come see her once this trip of yours is done and over with." Everything that she had told him about being able to come and see Aamori was mostly just from what she'd gathered on her own. She'd never really gone and inquired about it directly so there may have been other ways to go about getting access to the islands.

LaRae shook her head lightly. "You don't have to apologize." She told him. "When you don't feel well, it's actually normal to be taken care of or looked after." She uttered quietly. She started to turn towards the door, pausing and looking back at him. "I'll be right back with that glass of water." She said while offering a smile. She then continued to the door and slipped outside into the hall. She gave a sigh once she had shut the door and started down the hall towards the kitchen. She glanced up briefly and looked in towards the courtyard, spotting Celestine and Hisako of all people. She continued walking without saying a word straight to the kitchen. She stepped inside and wasted very little time asking for a glass of water. Just like before she wasn't waiting very long before the glass of water was set down on the counter before her. She uttered her thanks and picked up the glass making her way back to the bedroom. On her way back she glanced back towards the courtyard again briefly. When she reached the door she slipped back into the room and returned to the side of the bed holding out the glass. "Here ya' go."

Celestine listened, again, and nodded slightly in understanding in all of the appropriate places. Once she was finished he just sighed, "...I'm never going to understand people...or politics. All of it seems silly to me." he said simply, "...Couldn't I just get permission from someone or like...a pass that doesn't need renewed? I mean the ambassador thing sounds easy just saying it like that, but I don't know anything about what they actually do, and I'm sure I would get stuck dealing with more people than just Aamori; I'd probably mess it up and end up causing trouble... I mean, look, I've lived on my own away from everyone for the last four years, I'm still trying to get used to even being around people again, let alone dealing with them." He realized that probably sounded unbelievable coming from someone as young as him, but it could also explain why he was so good at defending himself, he'd been doing it long enough. He blinked then, finally remember one other thing, "Oh yeah...I guess I should probably introduce myself since we've been talking this long. I'm Celestine." He said, offering her a weak attempt at a smile. "Huh?" he looked off to the side, catching something out of the corner of his eye. He blinked and looked at LaRae as she walked away with a glass of water. "...hmm...wonder where her other half is..." he muttered to himself before he shook his head and looked back to Hisako again. It was almost weird seeing LaRae without Nanashi attached to her hip....or vice versa. "...Er...sorry. I guess I've kept you long enough. You...might want to go make sure Aamori still has some skin on her leg." he pointed out, "Once she starts scrubbing she doesn't know when to stop."

Nanashi sighed softly when she said that it was normal to be taken care of. It wasn't too normal for him but he nodded weakly and closed his eyes. "...." He just lay there silently, trying to ignore the dull throb in his head while he waited. Once she returned he opened his eye and smiled weakly. "...Thank you." he said quietly as he say himself up again. He took the glass and blinked as the towel fell from his head. The cloth was already warm from where it had been laying on him even from just that short period of time. He took a few sips of the water and shivered slightly as the cool liquid ran down his throat on top of the chilled feeling that the gel Aamori had given him had left a few hours ago. It was cold, but it at least felt really good. He sat there until he'd finished the glass, which didn't take him all that long, and then he set the glass over on the side table where the gel was with a quiet sigh.

Hisako tilted her head slightly when she heard him go on about how he lived on his own for the past four years. He certainly didn't look very old so that just seemed questionable, especially since he had talked about his grandfather being an Elder. What type of circumstances could lead to living on your own for four years at a young age? She pushed the thought aside, it wasn't really her place to ask. If more was said, she'd listen otherwise the subject was dropped. She shook her head lightly in response to his first question. "Unfortunately just getting permission doesn't give you anything to show you're allowed to be here in Kairava and the passes that don't have to be renewed are reserved for 'special' people. Though, those still have to renewed every year or so." She paused. "Since Kairava doesn't have a whole lot of land and it's mostly a territory of water we're extremely careful about who's allowed on the islands, especially because if any people end up in danger there isn't exactly anywhere for them all to go... there's nothing but islands after all." That was probably more answer then she needed to give, but she was just being thorough. The chances of anyone on the islands being in danger had lessened since they became so strict about who came to the islands. She gave a slight smile when she finally got a name. She hadn't really been looking for one, she could talk to just about anyone without getting a name from them. Though, now having a name she had a question she wanted to ask but refrained because she wasn't exactly sure how to go about it, respectfully. Honestly... was there even a right way to ask someone what their gender was without offending them? She shook her head lightly. "It's nice to finally have a name to go with the face." She said with a nod. "I'd introduce myself, but I already did that last night." She glanced over briefly when Celestine had, catching sight of LaRae on her way back towards the bedroom. She looked at Celestine again though when he brought up checking on Aamori. She had meant to sooner, but was side tracked with talking and answering some questions. She could only hope that Aamori hadn't spazzed out in the bath. "Yes, I guess I should make sure she is still in one piece." She said and started over to the door to the bath. She wasted very little time getting to the door and stepping inside.

Yoichi had finally made it to the training building. He'd just stepped inside the entrance doors when Hisako had finished talking to Celestine and headed for the baths. He was on his way towards the door to the lower levels like was his routine when he got there. He paused however once Hisako had gone into the baths. He looked at Celestine and still had a hard time believing that someone so pretty could be a boy. Girls were supposed to be pretty, so of course that was his first thought whenever he saw Celestine. The only reason he'd finally given in the day prior and agreed that Celestine was indeed a boy was just to drop the topic. He doubted that he'd been spotted just yet considering they had been talking when he came inside. He smirked a little and crept over to Celestine from behind. Once he was close enough he threw his arms out and wrapped them loosely around Celestine's neck and leaned his head down beside his with a small grin plastered across his face while his tail swayed behind him. "Been waiting long?" He asked quietly into his ear.

LaRae watched as he sat up and waited until he finished the glass of water to reach for the towel that had fallen from his head when he sat up. She was a little surprised to feel that it wasn't cold anymore. She stared at it for a moment before lifting her eyes up to look at him. She didn't really know what to say to that, other than to maybe ask if it had helped any. She shifted her eyes over to the night stand and looked at the empty glass for a moment. She folded the towel in half again and set it down on the night stand before picking up the glass again. She went to the bathroom, to the sink to fill up the glass with cold water once more. She was at least glad that she didn't have to walk all the way back to the kitchen just to fill up the glass. She returned to the side of the bed and set the glass back down on the night stand. Even if he wasn't thirsty right now at least the glass was full and he wouldn't have to get up himself to refill it. She was still concerned with him, especially after how quickly the towel had gone warm that was on his head. She sighed softly. "Is there anything else I can get you?"

Celestine nodded to Hisako and glanced back to watch her go to the baths before he sighed softly and glanced up to the sky. Well now that he was up he wasn't really too sure what to do with himself. He was still pretty sore from his bruises but he'd been laying around so much that he was starting to get sore just from being stiff because he was too stubborn to lay on anything soft. He sighed slightly and was just about to turn around to go see about getting some fruit for Nobu when he felt the arms around him. "Ehh!..." He almost groaned when he heard Yoichi's voice. "Not you again, didn't we go over this yesterday?" he said as he reached up to grab Yoichi's arms, "What are you, a homosexual? Get off of me." He said dryly as he twisted Yoichi's arms and slipped out form under them, turning to face him. He gave him a really annoyed stared and hook his head. "You are such a pest."

Nanashi watched as LaRae started for the bathroom with the glass and started to call to her, but she was already filling it up. "....." He sighed softly and then lowered his eyes for a moment before he laid himself back down again. He glanced over to the newly filled glass and then smiled slightly at LaRae again. "...No, LaRae...I'm fine..." he said softly as he shook his head, "...Really,you don't have to worry. You've done enough..."

Yoichi was wearing a disappointed look on his face by the time Celestine had gotten lose of his arms. He stood up straight, lifting a hand to push his hair back over his shoulder. "I don't think I am." He started. "Though... if you're a boy and I find you attractive... maybe we should find out?" He laughed quietly. "Maybe I am into guys after all..." Of course he was only joking around but that could be hard to tell by the way he had said that. He was for the most part straddling the fence on what gender Celestine was. Just by looking at him, you'd think he was a girl, a very pretty one. Then when he spoke and how annoyed he got with him you'd think would be enough to tell most people that he wasn't lying when he said he was boy.

LaRae sighed softly when he told her that she'd done enough. She had a feeling that even if there was something that he wanted or needed, he wasn't going to tell her. It was pretty obvious that he wasn't used to having someone around to wait on him and take care of him when he didn't feel well. She could say the same for herself, usually she was the one helping out when someone in her foster family got sick. Whereas if she wasn't feeling well she was usually taking care of herself. She stared down at him quietly. He could tell her a thousand times not to worry and that wouldn't change anything. Especially since he was as hot as he was and his head was hurting him. She stood beside the bed for a few moments longer before she moved back to her side and sat down on it so that she facing the head of the bed with one leg dangled off the edge. She looked at him and reached over setting her hand down on top of his gently. "...I just want you feeling better..." She uttered quietly.

Celestine shuddered and backed away from Yoichi, glowering darkly at him, "I'll pass." he growled, "I'm not going to undress just to prove to you that I'm not a girl!" He crossed his arms and continued to glare at him for a few moment before he just growled again and threw his arms down to his sides once more. "Oh...go...jump of a bridge or something!" he said irritably as he started to go around him so he could get back to the hallway and head down to the room where he had been staying again. He just wanted to get away from Yoichi, he didn't particularly care where he ended up. However he still had this sinking feeling that the guy wasn't going to be so easy to get rid of without Aamori.

Nanashi looked over to LaRae again when he felt her hand on his and he smiled weakly again. "...So do I..." he said quietly. He turned his hand over and closed his fingers around hers lightly, "...Please, don't worry, okay? I'm sure I'll be fine tomorrow...or maybe even later on tonight." he tried to assure her, "I'm alright for now...you don't have to sit in here with me all day. I think I'm going to go back to sleep for now..." he said softly. He was startign to wish that he'd kept his thoughts about how odd this was to himself earlier, because that definitely hadn't helped LaRae relax. He closed his eyes and gave her hand a little squeeze as he emitted a soft purr from deep in his throat...though it was short lived as it caused him to go into a slight coughing fit. "...B-bad idea... Ahem..." He just sighed and shook his head as he closed his eyes again. That definitely didn't help his stupid head.

Yoichi stared at Celestine for a moment and shook his head lightly. "You're too serious all the time." He commented after hearing him say that he should jump off a bridge or something. "And you know, I not once in this little conversation suggested that you strip just to prove your gender..." He pointed out. Though that would probably be a surefire way to find out whether Celestine was indeed a boy, or a girl like he looked. He just smiled a little and started to turn to look at him while he started around him towards the hallway. He didn't just stand there and look at him for very long. As he started to go around him, he reached out and took hold of his arm. "Hey... where are ya' going?" He paused. "You don't have to go run off again."

Hisako was finally coming back from the baths. She had left Aamori to finish getting dressed. She had thought briefly to let Celestine know how Aamori was but that thought kind of flew from her head when she saw Yoichi with Celestine. She sighed softly and started over towards them. "Yoichi, leave the boy alone." She said since Yoichi had taken a hold of Celestine's arm when he started to walk away. She did get the chance to ask Aamori about Celestine's gender. Thankfully for Celestine, she wasn't quite so hard to make believe he was a boy. Aamori had said he was a he, so she believed that he was a he. End of story.

LaRae smiled a bit more when he turned his hand over and closed his fingers around hers. Even though he'd said please, she doubted she'd stop worrying. She really couldn't help it. She gave a weak nod when he said that she didn't have to sit with him all day. It would probably be better to let him rest on his own rather than have her hovering around him in the room the whole time. She started to relax a little when she caught the purr, but that relax faded rather quickly when he started coughing again. She gave a soft sigh and gently pulled her hand away from his. She leaned forward, towards him on the bed and rested her hand lightly on his chest while she kissed his cheek lightly. She sat back and then started to put her feet on the floor so that she could get up from the bed. "...I'll let you get some rest." She paused. "...I'll check on you periodically." She told him quietly after she had gotten on her feet again. She couldn't just leave the room for the whole day knowing he wasn't feeling well, so of course she was going to want to check on him once in awhile.

Celestine turned around and glowered at Yoichi again, looking as if he wanted to run him through with something. "If you don't stop touching me I will rip your arm off!" he snapped, trying to jerk his arm back. He growled deep in his throat, though it broke off when Hisako spoke. He looked over to her for a moment in surprise and then glared back to Yoichi. Celestine had the eyes of a wild animal when he was angry, and one of the quickest ways to anger him was to touch him when he had never invited it. He did not like to be touched by people that he didn't know, or even by people that he knew unless he touched them first or gave them permission. If he would hug you then you were pretty safe when it came to him not getting annoyed with you for messing with him, but if he wouldn't even do that it was probably always best to give him some space. As he'd already explained to Hisako, he wasn't used to people again yet and all of the teasing he'd been getting about his girly looks since he inserted himself back into civilization was really starting to get on his nerves. He'd thought people would have grown out of this sort of thing by now but it was still just as bad as when he was little.

Nanashi smiled warmly when he felt her hand on his chest and then cracked his eyes open a little when she kissed his cheek, blushing a little as his smile broadened. "...Alright..." he said quietly, "...Then I'll see you later." he told her as he closed his eyes again. He sighed softly and then rolled onto his side, curling up slightly while he tried to get back to sleep.

Yoichi loosened his hold on Celestine's arm when he snapped at him and then let go all together when he tried to jerk his arm away. He was a little taken back by how Celestine had snapped at him over just grabbing his arm. He hadn't really meant anything by that he was just stopping him from leaving like he had the day prior. He looked over at Hisako when she told him to leave the boy alone. He couldn't believe it, even Hisako was going along with Celestine being a boy. Was he the only one who didn't believe it? Honestly, he looked like a girl and he really didn't want to even entertain the idea that Celestine really was a boy. Or maybe he was just in denial because he didn't want to admit that he could find a boy to be that attractive. He looked back to Celestine and regardless of the glares he was getting from him, he just offered a smile. "Don't get your panties in a knot. My touching your arm isn't going to kill you." He said with a slight laugh.

Hisako looked between Celestine and Yoichi briefly until Yoichi let him go and then gave a small sigh. She was well aware of Yoichi's tenancies so she could guess that he was pestering Celestine by flirting with him since Celestine looked so much like a girl. She shook her head lightly when Yoichi told him not to get his panties in a knot. He was just asking for it today wasn't he? She moved closer, right up behind Yoichi. She lifted her hand up and smacked him in the back of the head rather hard. "That's enough, Yoichi!" She muttered. "Don't you have some stuff you could be doing downstairs?" She asked, well, more like hinted at while she crossed her arms over her chest.

LaRae waited until Nanashi had rolled over before she started for the door. She thought about saying 'sleep well' or something on her way out, but she just kept her mouth shut. She slipped out the door and made sure that she shut it quietly behind her. She stood outside the door for a moment before she thought about seeing if anyone was still in the courtyard. She started over towards one of the arches to look and see, but hung back a little when she saw that Yoichi was out there now too. She really didn't want to deal with him right now, especially without having an escape route that didn't result in her just flat out telling him off. She would of course if there was no other way, but for now she was just going to stay behind the little two foot space between the arches and wait to see if Yoichi would leave without noticing her.

Aamori finally started to make her way out of the baths. She barely looked up once she shut the door. She had changed into her duplicate Elder outfit, minus her boots and the sleeve for her right arm. Her hair was still quite damp and she had it gathered and pulled around her shoulder so that it fell in front of her leg where the blood had been. Unfortunately she had scrubbed her leg quite a bit before Hisako had gotten to her and she was trying to cover it up. She probably wouldn't have scrubbed it at all once she got in the water, but the blood had dried to her skin so it didn't come off quite as easily as it would have if it had been fresh. She hadn't done too much damage. Her leg was red and it looked like she'd had a bad allergic reaction to something. Other than that her leg was alright. She started down the hall straight to her bedroom. Hisako had left the door open so she just walked inside, not bothering to close the door as she went to set her sleeve on the little bench at the foot of her bed. She gave a sigh and moved to her dresser to pick up her brush so that she could start brushing her hair.

Celestine just continued to glower at Yoichi, though he balled his hands into fists at his sides and snarled t him when he made another insinuation that he was a girl. He wanted to punch him and beat that smile right off of his face. He really did. Had Hisako no been standing there, he might have actually tried and for a few seconds, he was literally shaking with the restraint that it was taking not to release a nice burst of energy that would knock Yoichi flat on his ass. His hair flew back and up for a moment as if caught by a sudden strong updraft, though he soon stopped that when he caught it. Celestine did posses come very strong magical capabilities and he at times had trouble keeping a lid on them. The magic was just natural to him considering what he was. His type of dragon had no claws for protection in their true form, only wings and teeth, so strong magical capabilities provided them with one more advantage. As soon as Yoichi laughed, however, his hair slowly started to settle and his fists tightened at his sides a little more as his face relaxed from it's snarl and he hid his teeth from view again. Did he really think it was funny bothering him like that? He couldn't help it that he looked the way he did, it was just the way that his face was shaped and his petite build that made him look so much like a girl, it wasn't even his hair that did that to him. The angry expression slowly started to fade from his face and by the time Hisako was finished speaking he looked more like he was fighting not to cry than like he literally wanted to kill the guy. "...Why can't you just leave me alone?" He said quietly, then his voice raised slightly, "It's not funny anymore; it never has been!!" he said, a hint of ire in his tone at the 'it never has been.' He never had found being hit on my boys or dress up like a doll by girls funny even though everyone else seemed to think it was pretty damn hilarious. He shook his head and just stepped back, entering into a sort of crouch before his wings shot open and he was in the air and over the wall probably before one could even form another thought to respond to what he'd said. He was fastest in the air, so that was the quickest way out of there for him. He didn't know where he wanted to go, just somewhere away from everyone. The park was out, people went by there, and he didn't really know anywhere else. He sighed heavily just landing in a crouch on the roof of the training center again for now. No one would come up here and he was very hard to see from here anyway so he just sat down and pulled his knees up to his chest with a sigh before wrapping his arms around them and resting his chin on top.

Hisako gave a heavy sigh after seeing the way Celestine reacted to Yoichi. She apparently hadn't caught it in time to keep Yoichi from running Celestine off. Once Celestine had flown up and was out of sight she immediately belted Yoichi across the back of the head again. "Do you honestly have to do stuff like that?" She muttered. "Your sister mentioned that you did this to him yesterday too, knock it off already or I will have you put on temporary leave until they have to go to the next territory." She uttered rather annoyed at Yoichi's behavior. She knew he flirted with every single girl he came across and she couldn't believe that he was going to pester Celestine that way just because he very feminine. She shook her head and pushed her hand against Yoichi's back, forcing him towards the doorway to go downstairs. "You've still got work to do from yesterday, get it done." She told him before giving him one last push and then returning to the center of the courtyard. She could be a little harsh sometimes but mostly when it came with a good reason. She was also Yoichi's direct boss while he was working here so she could tell him what to do without any repercussions.

Yoichi could be pretty calm about things when he wanted to be, or at least he could easily ignore stuff. So he barely looked like he was paying any attention to the fact that Celestine was thoroughly upset and obviously a little pissed off. He was a little more concerned with the fact that Hisako had hit him in the back of the head rather than Celestine's reaction. He lifted his hand to rub the back of his head briefly before looking back at Celestine. He just kind of stared at him for a moment after he had asked why he couldn't just leave him alone, on top of that it wasn't funny. He couldn't say he was intentionally trying to hurt his feelings or anything, and he wasn't really poking fun at his appearance on purpose so he was kind of at a loss of how to even respond to that. Had Celestine not made such a hurry to run away again he thought he might apologize. He gave a sigh and was just about to look over at Hisako when her hand connected with the back of his head again, this time causing him to stumble forward a little. "Ow! Almighty... you're going to give me brain damage if you keep hitting me like that." He muttered as he lifted his hand to his head again. He started to look back at her again, only to feel her pushing him towards the door. He sighed and gave little resistance. "He looks like a girl. It's not like I'm picking on him intentionally. I've treated him the same way I've treated any girl that I flirt with. I just can't get my head around him being a he." He said sounding slightly defensive. The only time to his knowledge really that he had kind of picked on Celestine was when he was joking about finding out if he was into guys. He assumed Celestine hadn't gotten the joke. He continued to rub his head lightly until Hisako pushed him that one last time. He reached out and put his hand on the door and looked back at her briefly. "Yeah, yeah.. I'll get it done.." He uttered and then proceeded to head through the door and down the stairs.

LaRae kept behind the little space in the arch that seemed to have hidden her well enough. Maybe not... There seemed to be a bit more going on than she suspected judging by the things that were being said. She waited until Yoichi had gone behind that door before moving away from the arch. She sighed softly and stepped around into the courtyard, looking to Hisako briefly. "...Yoichi giving Celestine a hard time too, I assume?" She asked quietly. She didn't have very much in common with Celestine but this was at least one thing. Both of them had been targets for Yoichi's unwanted flirty tenancies. Though she was pretty sure that Yoichi's flirting was harder to handle if you were like Celestine.

Hisako turned slightly when she heard someone step into the courtyard. At first she thought Yoichi had come back out, she was relieved however to see it was only LaRae. She hadn't seen her come out again from earlier so she hadn't even noticed her until now. Though, she wasn't exactly paying much attention to anything other than what Yoichi was doing at the time. She gave a slight nod in response to her question. "Yes and it appears that Yoichi has really gotten under his skin if he's managed to run him off again." She said pointing up a little. She glanced around noticing now that Aamori had come out of the baths. She could see her from where she was standing since she had left the bedroom door open. She looked back to LaRae for a moment and nodded her head towards Aamori's room. "If you'll excuse me, I need to double check on her." She told her and then headed for Aamori's room.

LaRae glanced up when Hisako pointed and nodded slightly. She couldn't say that she completely understood how Celestine felt but she did just hide behind an arch so that she wouldn't be seen. She glanced back towards Aamori's room when Hisako nodded in that direction. She smiled slightly and watched as she left to check on Aamori. She looked back up once Hisako was gone and thought about seeing if Celestine wanted to talk or something. She of course was hesitant just because how things had been between them but she remembered saying to Marius that she could at least try and be nice to Celestine. She shook her head, obviously that conversation was going to replay every time she was trying to decide what to do when it came to Celestine. It didn't take her long to make up her mind, she let her wings fall from her back and she stretched them a little before jumping up and flapping her wings hard enough to lift her and get her up to the roof. She touched down on the opposite side of the building than Celestine and started to glance around for a moment before she noticed that he hadn't gone anywhere further then the roof. She shut her wings tightly behind her and looked over at him while not bothering to move from where she was. Mostly because she wasn't really sure he even wanted anyone around him right now. "...Her brother is a real pain in the ass ...isn't he?" She said while tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. It wasn't much of a conversation starter, but she figured something like that might get more of a response out of him than 'Are you okay?'.

Celestine was just trying to calm himself down and get a little peace and quiet. He didn't even pay attention to what was going on below, he didn't really care as long as it wasn't involving him anymore. He closed his eyes and sighed heavily, though he opened the again and raised his head up slightly when he heard LaRae's voice from halfway across the roof. He just stared at her for a few moments and then sighed softly and placed his chin back down on his knees, his ears falling back slightly. Today really wasn't starting off as a good day. He was still trying to get used to not thinking of LaRae the way he still thought of other earth dragons so with the mood he was in now hr just really wasn't in a 'play nice' mood. "...Go away..." he said dully, though his voice probably wouldn't even carry that far as quietly as he spoke. "...I'm not in the mood..." He closed his eyes again and then sighed and just let his legs go before he laid back like he usually did on a rooftop.

LaRae could barely hear anything that he had said since he was talking so quietly. She watched him lay back and rather easily got the impression that he didn't want to talk. She sighed softly and stepped over to the edge of the ring in the roof and looked down at the courtyard momentarily. She really had nothing better to be doing right now, and she had talked herself into trying to be nice to Celestine so she wasn't exactly wanting to just give up already and say screw it. She stood there for a few moments longer before she decided to sit down. She let her legs dangle over, into the opening of the roof and she set her hands behind her slightly so she could lean back. She looked back over to him and stared for a moment before looking straight across the top of the roof they were on at the skyline. "...So ...why are you letting Yoichi get to you like this?" She asked again thinking that might get something out of him. After all she was a little surprised that Celestine had let Yoichi get under his skin so badly that he just up and left yesterday and then again today. Well, he didn't go very far but she guessed he probably would have if he knew somewhere secluded he could go.

Celestine growled quietly when LaRae asked why he let Yoichi get under his skin. Before he even thought he bolted upright again, planting his hands on either side of him to hold himself up. "HE DIDN'T!!" He snapped at her, looking thoroughly pissed off again, though a split second later his face completely changed and he looked a little shocked and then glanced away in embarrassment. He hadn't really meant to snap like that, but he really didn't want o admit that it bothered him as badly as it did. "I...I don't want to talk to you! Go away!" He said, trying to sound irritated, though for once he wasn't very convincing. the truth was he didn't know if he wanted to talk or not. He didn't want to say what was on his mind, yet still he did want someone to at least try to understand why he was always so bothered. He groaned quietly to himself and then dropped his head before he let his arms slide out to the sides while he laid back again. Why out of everyone did it have to be her that came up?

LaRae stared at Celestine rather dumbfounded for a moment after he snapped at her like he did. Though seeing him look shocked, followed by his looking away made her feel a little less like abandoning ship. Had he snapped at her like that for no reason and continued to look so pissed off, she probably would have just given up and gone to find something else to do. After all, she didn't have to take his attitude like that when she did nothing wrong. She continued to sit there though she leaned forward slightly and rested her hands in her lap. She was a little offended hearing him say that he didn't want to talk to her. That said enough, he obviously still didn't care too much for her company. He could've just said he didn't want to talk instead of singling her out like that. She sighed and glanced over at him. "Would you talk about it if I had been someone else...?" She asked and then looked away. She was definitely coming to the point where she was going to question her sanity for continuing to stay up here when he clearly wanted nothing to do with her. Here pretty soon she was going to start smiting Marius for his words if Celestine continued to be so unsociable.

Celestine glanced toward her again for a moment when she asked if he would talk if it was someone else. ...No he honestly doubted that he'd be much more willing. "...I don't want to talk to anyone. There's nothing to talk about!" he groaned before he closed his eyes again, though apparently that wasn't the case as he continued only a moment later. "I'm just...I'm sick of people! It's so stupid! Why doesn't anyone ever take me seriously? I can't help it I came out looking more like my mother than my father, it's not my fault, so why does everyone have to make such a big deal out of it!?" He opened his eyes again, glaring up at the sky, "Ever since I was little every time I wanted to play with the guys they just told me to go play with the girls, and all the girls ever want to do is put me in a dress and play with my hair; I can't stand it! Not to mention everywhere I go I have to listen to idiot guys like him either teasing me or hitting on me! What am I supposed to do, give up on getting a girlfriend and just settle for BEING the girl!? I wish everyone would just...grow up!!! I'm just starting to remember why I've always preferred being around animals, at least they don't judge--" He blinked when he realized just how much he'd spouted off. He'd only been vaguely aware that he was even talking in the first place, but once he'd started he just kept going. "Uh..." He sat up on his elbows and stared at LaRae for a moment, his cheeks quickly turning cherry red. Well...that certainly didn't go as planned.

LaRae wasn't too surprised to hear that he didn't want to talk to anyone. He didn't talk that much usually to begin with, well unless it was something of importance. She had just kind of thought offering an ear might help considering his current mood and temperament. She was thinking about getting up and leaving since he didn't want to talk to anyone. She was surprised however when he continued on without being provoked. She couldn't say that she really understood what it felt like to be in his shoes, but she could understand how annoying it must be. She doubted that he really wanted her opinion or to hear anything she had to say, but she'd say it anyway it was up to him if he felt like listening. "...I think it would stand to reason that people don't take you seriously because you're not taking yourself seriously." She started. "You've obviously been the way you are for your whole life and it sounds like you aren't very accepting of the way you look." She paused. "If you were, I doubt that things other people say about you would bother you like they do. You said it yourself that you can't help that you look more like your mother... just accept that and don't let it bother you." She uttered. "And so what if someone, be it male or female says that you're pretty or something to that effect... last time I checked, you were and you can't change that about yourself so wouldn't it just be easier to look at it as a compliment?" She paused. "...Granted that would probably be kind of creepy coming from another guy..." She muttered. "...I guess my point is when you accept full heartily that you are the way you are than others will pick up on that. I'm not saying everyone will... and I'm sure there will be people who would say things just to mess with you but if you accept yourself the way you are you kind of take the ammo out of their words." At least that was the way she looked at it. She was really under the impression that Celestine didn't like looking more like his mother and obviously he was tired of the ridicule. "Oh... and as for preferring animals over people because they don't judge you... maybe you ought to think about what you're saying before you run off judging someone else."

Celestine blinked when LaRae started...well lecturing him. Honestly...he'd expected her to fall off of the roof laughing after everything that he'd said. His eyes locked on her, wide with surprise while she spoke, though his expression dropped to mild annoyance when she said that he was pretty and his face turned even more red. "...but it's embarrassing..." he muttered to himself. 'Pretty' was supposed to be used to describe girls, not guys. After a moment he sighed and lowered his eyes, thinking a little on what she said while she was talking. He had always thought that his mother was the most beautiful thin on the planet, and he had always liked her wings better than his father's, as well as her horn, and he'd inherited both of those from her. He sat up the rest of the way and leaned forward a little, looking at his hair as it fell over his shoulder. He'd gotten her hair as well. Deep down he was happy with all of it, he wouldn't trade his looks for the world, but at the same time it still annoyed the hell out of him whenever another guy touched his butt or something. How was he supposed to be comfortable wit that? Wouldn't that just make him even more weird? He sighed slightly, "...I guess..." he muttered quietly when she said that it would take the ammo out of their words. "...I just...want to be treated like a boy." he said simply. He looked up to her again suddenly at her last statement and stared for a moment before he lowered his eyes slightly. "...Mm..." He sighed quietly and then glanced away again. "...You know...It's kind of hard to hear you from over there...." he muttered quietly, "...I'm not going to bite you."

LaRae was a bit surprised herself to have not been told to shut up, not to mention he'd actually listened to what she had said. She expected it to have gone in one ear and out the other in all honesty. She just kind of stared at him for a moment after he said it was kind of hard to hear her from where she was, and that he wasn't going to bite her. She gave a slightly nervous laugh as she started to get to her feet. "...I think you'd sooner shove me off the edge than be caught with the taste of an earth dragon in your mouth..." She muttered quietly. She walked a bit closer to him regardless of the fact that she'd have rather sat where she was. She stopped and then sat down just like she had before with her legs dangling over the edge of the opening. She was closer now, but certainly not within an arms distance. She'd mentioned being shoved off, she didn't want to give him the idea and than put herself close enough for him to actually do it. At least now he shouldn't have too much trouble hearing her. She gave a soft sigh and thought for a moment, just to recollect her thoughts. She glanced over at him briefly once she knew what she wanted to say and then lowered her eyes into the courtyard below. "...Everyone has something they're embarrassed about ...even me." She paused, thinking to herself 'like you really care...' She lifted her head up and turned a little to look at him but kept her eyes averted while she lifted up her bangs, showing what was left of her horns. "These... little stumps... they are what embarrass me." She said and then dropped her hand, releasing her bangs. "Of what I can actually remember of my past... I was picked on as a child because my horns were different from everyone else. They were by far the prettiest horns of my clan and they were rare, not many have them." She paused. "I was left with nothing more than these rigidly cut stumps all because some kids decided if they couldn't be born with my horns than I wasn't allowed to have them either." She gave a sigh. "...I know that really doesn't compare to what embarrasses you, but it just kind of proves a point that everyone is embarrassed by something and it's not always something that can be changed." She uttered. She was quiet for a moment before she looked back at him. "It may not be by the whole planet but you do get treated like a boy. If I'm wrong go ahead and correct me but everyone in this group treats you like a boy, now that they know you are one." She paused. "And... I think I'd wager to say that if you told someone that you were a boy with confidence rather than out of anger because they thought you were a girl, they'd probably be more likely to believe you than doubt you." She shook her head lightly, having another thought. "Unfortunately there are a lot of people who like to judge people based on outward appearances..."

Celestine just rolled his eyes slightly when she mentioned him wanting to shove her off of the roof. Honestly the thought hadn't crossed his mind, though it might have had she been Yoichi. He really hadn't had any trouble hearing her at all from where she was, that was just an indirect way of telling her that he didn't mind if she came closer to him. He sighed softly and looked at her for a few moments when she showed him what was left of her horns. He blinked and made a bit of a face that basically could have been read as 'ow'. He wasn't really too sure what to say about that one so he just refrained from comment about what had actually happened to her horns. She was right, there wasn't anything to be done about it now. He sighed and glanced away when she looked at him and just continued to sit there without looking at her until she was finished. He sighed and glanced back to her again and then slowly got to his feet. He just stood there for a moment before he walked over to her and knelt down beside her. He reached out to her and lightly brushed her bangs aside with his first two fingers to get a better look at her horns, or what was left of them. "...It's...not that bad..." he said simply as he pulled his hand back, letting her bangs fall back into place again. "...I guess it does make you look like a half br--dragon half." He corrected himself before she could get onto him for it. He looked away from her again then sighed softly and shifted positions, turning slightly so that he was sitting the same way that she was, though he kept one leg drawn up to his chest while he let he one closest to her dangle over the side. He stared down at the courtyard in silence for a moment and then sighed and closed his eyes , lowering his head. His ears were still laid back slightly, and he still looked a little bothered, but at the same time he looked like he was feeling a little better now that he'd gotten all of that off of his chest, even if he hadn't really meant to. After a few moments he absently leaned to the side and rested his head on her shoulder with a sigh. One surefire way to get on his good side was to just listen to him when he felt like talking and not criticize him for what he had to say. This particular problem was piddly and probably laughable, but he had been dealing with it ever since he was little and people like Yoichi really just made him boil even now. He opened his eyes slightly and glanced over to LaRae before he closed them again and nuzzled his head gently against her arm. "...I'm sorry..." he said quietly, referring to what she had said about judging her. He knew he was just as bad as everyone else in some areas, but some things really could just get burned into someone's mind. He would still probably see anyone else from the Earth clan the same way that he had seen LaRae when they first met...LaRae could have just been a fluke, but so far she had proved to be far from what he thought she was. Celestine wasn't really as bad as he came off at first either. Once you could get past all of the personal issues, he was a really sweet boy. He just didn't like to let people know that. Once they found that out then they just walked all over you.

LaRae sat quietly, glancing over to Celestine when he started to get to his feet. She guessed he might have been tired of talking and was perhaps going to leave or just move away from her. She started to look away with a sigh, though she wound up staring at him when he knelt down and moved her bangs aside so that he could get a better look at her horns. She was extremely embarrassed now and it probably read easily on her face. She didn't care too much for anyone looking at her stumps. She'd rather them be gone all together than be stuck with such a reminder. She averted her eyes when he said that it wasn't that bad. She thought it was horrid the way her stumps looked. They weren't even smoothed over. They'd been left exactly the way they were once they had been cut and broken off and that was mostly because there wasn't much left really to be smoothed down. The stumps were so short that smoothing them down would be more trouble than it was worth, not to mention she didn't want to go through the hurt of having them worked on. "...They're an eyesore ...considering I know what they were supposed to look like." She said and then gave a heavy sigh. "...It doesn't really bother me that I'm easily mistaken for a dragon half. I know what I am and if other people can't see that then it's their problem, not mine. I'll admit though, it is kind of amusing the looks on their faces when they finally realize that I'm a full blooded dragon." Now that she was thinking about it, her and Celestine kind of had that in common. They were both mistaken for something they weren't. Though she took being called a dragon half a lot better than Celestine took being called a girl. She startled a bit when she felt his head rested on her shoulder. She practically froze when he nuzzled against her arm and then apologized too. She of course questioned herself right away as to if he had actually said that, she never expected to hear him apologize. She finally moved a little, glancing to him briefly. "...You're touching an earth clan dragon and you're even apologizing..." She paused. "Don't tell me you don't feel well either..." She said with a nervous laugh. It really was a shock to her, the way he was being right now. He was being nice and even a little considerate since he'd apologized. She guessed that he had picked up on her subtle hints about how judgmental he'd been with her. She was seeing a part of Celestine, if even briefly, that she wouldn't have originally thought even existed. She had pretty much thought that Celestine was nothing more than a being with a grudge that was bound to eat him alive. She guessed Marius had been right and about more than one thing no less.

Celestine looked over to LaRae again when she commented about him not feeling well. He sighed and sat away from her again and then crossed his arms and looked away again. "...Fine then...I'll take it back." he said simply. He sighed softly and looked down at the courtyard again, resting his chin on his knee once more. It was kind of hard to be nice and considerate to her when she said things like that afterward. He knew he'd treated her pretty bad before but was that really necessary every time he was nice? He sighed, "I still don't know about you. You don't seem bad... But I still have to wonder what would happen..." he trailed off, not bothering to continue. He was silent for a few moments and then he blinked, "...Who isn't feeling well? You look fine." he said simply, changing the subject entirely. That seemed like a better road to travel down than his trust issues.

LaRae looked at Celestine when he sat away from her, after what she had said. She gave a small sigh as she set her arms behind her and leaned back on them a little. "It's just really weird seeing or hearing you being even just a little nice to me." She paused. "...I mean, you've been rotten enough towards me that you even voiced not wanting to take me anywhere near your home village... and I myself have done nothing to you..." She paused. "The way you treated me before just kind of stuck, so it's weird when you do or say something that's out of character. Not that I'm complaining or anything... it just kind of catches me off guard." She uttered quietly. She didn't bother to look over at him when he started to talk. She had kind of wanted him to finish what he was going to say but she couldn't blame him if he didn't. She didn't hate or even really dislike Celestine. If it ever came off that way it was only because she hated the way he had treated her without even knowing her. She was different than the rest of her clan. At least in the sense that she didn't really want to be a part of them, they had treated her badly and she had a grudge against them. But there is only so much one can do to go against their clan when they've got a tight grasp on their life. She was at least a bit happier knowing that Celestine was at least making an attempt at getting to know her somewhat. Of course he wasn't going out of his way or anything but neither was she, really. She started to look back out at the skyline for a moment while she wasn't talking, though she found herself looking right back at him when he asked who wasn't feeling well. She moved her hands back to her lap and hunched over slightly. She was a little surprised that the question hadn't been able to be answered just by who wasn't with her right now. "...Nanashi..." She answered. "He's sick. He said this happens, though that this time is a little different and he can't explain why." She paused. "He's actually hot for once, so he isn't burrowed under the blanket... and his skin itself is pretty hot itself and his head was bothering him. But he did say that his throat was better than it was after what happened last night." She continued. "Right now, he's just trying to rest."

Celestine just sighed without looking at her as she went on about how he had treated her. "....." He looked back to her again when she mentioned that it was Nanashi who was sick and then raised his head again. "...That doesn't sound good..." he said quietly, "I hope he's alright..." He did look a little worried, though he was mostly concerned with the fever. "That's odd though... Normally when someone has a fever their bodies are hot but they think they're cold and try to cover up." he pointed out, "...Then again...he is a strange one." he said, shaking his head slightly, "Well...at least some rest should do him good." He sighed and then leaned over to the side again, resting his head back against her the way he had before. Apparently he was at least giving her another shot. "...I suppose if it starts getting too bad yo could ask Hikari or someone to check on him. For now I wouldn't get too worried..." He said quietly.
