Celestine had more or less given up on the idea of getting free, especially after his arm started to fall asleep from the way she was holding it. He had almost fallen asleep on top of her, though when she loosened her grip and the feeling started to tingle it's way back into his arm he raised is head and then moved his other arm over to the other side of her, pushing himself up a little as he slipped his arm out of her grasp carefully. He was still trying not to disturb her too much, but he really wanted out of here. Once he got his arm free he shook it out a little and then stood up and started for the door again.

Hikari hadn't even felt like moving for most of the day, she'd just remained cuddled up against Kyran, though by now, she was definitely starving since she'd skipped out on food the day before and it was well past dinner today. "Mmm..." she groaned and finally say herself up, "You realized we've barely moved the entire day?" she said as she glanced back to Kyran again and smiled. "Lets see if we can find the kitchen my stomach is going to eat itself." she said lightly as she stood up and went to gather her boots before she flopped back onto the couch to put them on. "And there was something else I wanted to see tonight." she said with a smile. "Something that only happens once every 60 years." Of course she was referring to dragon years...which was more like 600 to a human. She stood up again once she'd gotten her boots on and smiled, "Tonight the second moon is new, so only the first and third moons are going to be visible, and the first moon is aligned just right beside the third moon that it makes the third moon appear red as well." She was a bit excited about the event since this was probably about the only chance she'd had to see it since she was born. Her people were really big into astrology, so they had mapped it out quite a while ago, and she had just happened to think about the date while she was laying there. She'd known it was going to happen while they were on this trip, but she'd only just now add up the days to figure out when exactly. The three moons in the sky were ordered form smallest to largest, the first being a small red moon, the second a medium sized blue moon, and the third a large white moon.

Nanashi had managed to fall asleep for a little while in the room, but not long ago he had woken up again. His throat felt extremely dry so he sat himself up a little and reached over to get the water that LaRae had left him. He blinked when the towel tumbled off of his head, but he hardly noticed it. He drained the glass and then got up slowly to get another lass since he still felt parched. Upon reaching the bathroom sink he glanced to the mirror and stared for a moment. His coppery skin was slick with sweat and it was even running down his face. His apple red hair was even wet in several places where it had been touching him and it was stuck to his face. His eyes were glassy looking to the point that he looked as dazed as he felt. His head was throbbing painfully and he felt like he could probably fall over any minute. He gasped a few times and then turned around and started back to the bedroom, leaving the glass in the bathroom. His skin was almost too hot to the point that it would burn you if you touched it. He was starting to almost panic now. He'd gotten sick before, but nothing like this. He wanted to go see if Hikari had any idea what was going on or if she could do anything about it. He glanced to the bed for a moment, really tempted to just lay back down, but he started to the door nonetheless.

Aamori shifted only a little while Celestine was taking his arm back, it seemed that she was still asleep for the time being. Once he stood up from the bed she shifted again, only this time she was rolling back over to lay on her other side. In the process of rolling over she awoke enough to crack her eyes open. She caught sight of what she was pretty sure was Celestine and wondered briefly what he was doing in her room. She had no recollection what so ever of the past hour and a half that he had spent captive in the room with her. "...C-cele..." She started quietly, practically in a whisper but rather quickly found herself falling right back asleep.

Kyran watched as Hikari sat up and then smiled a bit when she said that they had barely moved all day. He gave a slight nod as he started to prop himself up on his elbows and then continued to sit up the rest of the way. "It was nice to just lounge around for the majority of the day." He commented as he started to put his legs over the side of the bed. "Besides, when was the last time you actually got the chance to just... lay around like that?" He asked and then stretched his arms over his head a bit before standing up. He stood there for a moment and stretched again, just to get comfortable on his feet again since he'd been in bed for nearly the whole day. He headed over to the couch to put his boots back on too, though he slipped his feet into them one at a time and then brought his foot up to rest against the arm of the couch while he laced up the boot, then did the same with the other. He started to reach for his vest but stopped and just left it there on the couch. He knew they'd be coming back so it wasn't going to go anywhere and right now he just didn't feel like fighting his wings back into that thing. He was pretty hungry himself which was probably part, if not all of the driving force for getting him to get out of that comfortable bed. Though, hearing about the thing with the moons that Hikari had wanted to see peeked his interest as well so he was bound to get up either way. "So... what time tonight is this supposed to happen?" He asked while he started over to the door to open it up.

LaRae was still sitting off to the side of Celestine's room on the floor with Nobu. She had made herself comfortable with her back against the wall and Nobu had practically crawled into her lap so she hadn't bothered moving. She continued to sit there with her eyes shut and her head leaned back against the wall while she patted Nobu.

Nero had finally come out of his room not too long after Celestine had gotten himself stuck in Aamori's room. He'd taken the previous day and then the majority of today to himself, to just relax and get away from everyone. When he had finally come back out he was a little surprised to see there wasn't anyone really out and moving. Well, other than LaRae which he had caught sight of as he wandered around the halls a little. It didn't take him that long to find the kitchen while he was wandering around, so of course he took the chance to get something to eat. Now he was just standing outside of the kitchen, with his back leaning against the space between the two arches across from the kitchen door. He like usual had his arms crossed over his chest and his head tilted down so that his hair fell into this face.

Celestine was almost to the door when he heard Aamori's whisper. He paused and looked back to her, smiling weakly when he realized that she'd just gone right back to sleep. "...Sleep well, Aamori..." he said quietly before he continued to the door and pulled it open quietly before he slipped back outside again. He glanced around briefly and then sighed heavily when he saw Nero standing at one of the archways. Well...hopefully he wouldn't notice him or where he was coming from. That could be a bit awkward to try to explain if he asked. He turned his eyes down and started in that direction since he assumed no one had ever thought to feed Nobu yet. He'd been meaning to do that right after he checked on Aamori, but that didn't go over too well. He was almost there when he heard another door open and looked up again.

Hikari smiled slightly at Kyran. "It's been a while." she said in response to his question about the last time she got to spend a day like this. "It's supposed to start early, I believe just a little after dusk and then it will last about...three or four hours I think." she said lightly. She hopped up again once Kyran decided against putting on his vest and then went to the door and stepped out. She glanced around briefly before she spotted Nero and smiled. "There you are, I thought the bed are you." she said playfully, "Um...you wouldn't happen to know where the kitchen is, would you?" She realized that it was already starting to get pretty dark out, so it wouldn't be but about fifteen minutes before it started. Which was probably just abut enough time to get a little food and then find a spot to watch.

Celestine sighed softly and pointed to the kitchen door when he heard Hikari ask Nero. "That's where I'm going." he said simply as he walked on by and opened the door, stepping inside. He glanced around for a few moments and then walked over to the counter and stood there, looking a little at a loss for the moment. He didn't know what he was expecting, but this wasn't exactly it.

Once Nanashi reached the door he paused for a moment and closed his eyes, leaning his head forward against the wood lightly. "Uhh..." He stood there for a moment, waiting for his head to stop spinning, and then opened his eyes and stepped back a little to open the door. He had no idea where LaRae had gotten to, he just knew that she wasn't in the room with him, so he wasn't too surprised to see her in the hallway when he glanced around. He thought she looked like she was asleep or something, but he couldn't really tell. He just closed the door lightly behind him as he came out, trying not to make a lot of noise that would draw attention to himself. It was pretty easy to move quietly without his shoes on, but the door and his heavy breathing were a little harder to work with.

Kyran held the door open until after Hikari had passed through and then he headed outside after her, making sure to pull the door shut behind him as well. He gave a nod to acknowledge that he had heard what Hikari said in response to his question and then stepped off to the side slightly when saw Nero and was inquiring about the location of the kitchen. He had to admit, he was a little surprised to see Nero out and about considering they hadn't seen the guy at all since they got here. He had kind of expected the guy to just avoid everyone until they had to move on. He glanced to Celestine momentarily when he heard him say that he was headed for the kitchen. He looked back down to Hikari and continued to stand there, waiting for her to lead the way.

Nero hadn't really been paying a great deal of attention to anything going on around him, though he did happen to glance towards the doors as he heard them opening. It wasn't obvious that he was looking because like usual he was peeking out from behind his hair. He just stared at Celestine for a moment and then looked to the other door once it opened and then stared at Hikari until Kyran had come out after her. He didn't bother showing any signs of hearing her little joke about the bed. He had chosen to keep to himself for awhile and already he was tempted to just go back into his room. He lifted his head a little and shook it so that his hair fell from his eyes and then stared over at the kitchen door. He didn't have to say a word, or even lift a finger because Celestine had done more than enough already to answer the question Hikari had directed at him.

Nobu was contently laying with his head and paws stretched out across LaRae's lap. He was taking advantage of the attention he was receiving since he'd pretty much been ignored after Celestine left the room yesterday morning. His back wasn't hurting him that much anymore, thankfully. Seemed like getting plenty of rest and not moving around too much did the trick, he barely felt a thing now when he did move. He lifted his head a little when he heard the other door opening, the one that LaRae and Nanashi had been sharing. No matter how quiet Nanashi was trying to be, he wouldn't have been able to get past his ears. At least not with him laying as close to the door as he was. He stared at Nanashi for a moment and rather quickly his ears had dropped back against his head. It didn't take a lot for him to pick up on how Nanashi was feeling; He was a little curious to know what was wrong with him, he really didn't look very well.

LaRae wasn't asleep, far from it in fact, but she had become rather relaxed just sitting there with Nobu. She hadn't heard the door really and probably wouldn't have even noticed Nanashi if she hadn't looked down at Nobu when she felt him move. Nobu had been laying pretty quietly in her lap for a while without moving so of course she looked down at him, though her eyes shifted over in the direction he was looking to see what he was looking at, especially since she made a brief note that his ears were pinned down against his head. She blinked a couple times and just stared over at Nanashi for a moment with a worried look on her face after seeing how he looked. "What are you doing out of bed?" She asked hastily. "...You don't look any better..." She uttered quietly. Just by looking at him, even from where she was she could see that he looked worse than he did earlier. Of course that concerned her but what was there that she could do for him other than make sure he stayed in bed and tried to rest until what ever it was passed. She had wanted to get up and go over to him but Nobu was making that near impossible. He just wasn't budging an inch and she didn't want to have to shove him off of her.

Hikari looked over to Celestine when he started to the kitchen and smiled. "Well that was convenient." she said lightly as she started in that direction, not bothered by Nero's lack of response to her jab or her question since she hadn't expected a response from the jab and saw why he need not respond to the question. She walked op to the door and pulled it open before slipping inside and glancing around a bit. She looked back to Kyran and smiled at him before she made her way over to Celestine. "So have you seen Aamori today?"
"Mm-hmm..." he muttered as he glanced over to her. "She worked on her summoning most of the day, now she's sleeping." he said simply.
She smiled brightly and tilted her head, "Well how did she do, do you know?"
"Fine. She didn't hurt herself this time, anyway. According to Hisako she's past the hard part. The summoning itself is the worst and she does that just fine."

Nanashi sighed softly when he heard LaRae talking and turned back to her again. "...I know...I...I want to talk to Hikari..." He said quietly, "...Maybe she'll have some idea of what's going on...I can't just lay there anymore, it's been getting worse as the day goes on." He offered her a weak smile before he backed up a little and started to turn around again, "I'll be back..." he said quietly before he turned around and continued down the hall, heading around to the other side. He didn't bother to look back, mainly because he was afraid he'd lose his balance if he turned his head while walking. He was struggling enough just to walk in a straight line without staggering like a drunk. He sighed quietly once he neared the other side of the hallway and then raised his head a little to look around. He blinked a few times, trying to clear his vision since everything was trying to fuzz up on him, and then sighed when he didn't notice anyone else in the hall. Of course not, it was almost dark, everyone was probably on the verge of getting ready for bed. He took a few more steps, trying to remember which room Hikari had been using. He really hated to bother her and Kyran, but at the same time this was starting to get a little scary. Just as he turned his head to look at the doors he was hit with another dizzy spell that sent him staggering sideways. He threw his hand out the the side, intending to catch the edge of the closest arch, but his hand slid right past the stone and connected with something soft that seemed to move when his weight hit it. He gasped when he realized he must have shoved into someone that he hadn't seen for the wall and then jerked his hand back, grabbing for the wall to steady himself before he could fall over anywhere. "S-sorry!" he said quickly, barely even looking to see who it was, though he recognized Nero easily enough from catching sight of his pants.

Kyran followed after Hikari once she started for the kitchen again, stepping inside just after her. He moved over to stand beside Hikari once inside the kitchen. He gave a slight smile when he saw her smile at him, then he started glancing around while she inquired about Aamori. He should've known it wouldn't take long for her to start asking about her, considering she had been worried about her last night. He lifted his eyes and focused on the man on the other side of the counter that came out from a back room, which he suspected was probably a pantry of some sort. This kitchen certainly wasn't like what he was expecting either, but then again he'd only ever seen kitchens inside of someone's personal home.

The man had come out from the pantry when he heard people talking. On his way out of the room he grabbed a cloth from one of the back counters and started wiping his hands with it as he walked over to the counter that separated him from the others. He had to admit there was a strange number of guests and it was certainly interesting that they were all from different clans. He could really care less though which clan they were from so long as they were here to fill their stomachs. He set the cloth down on the shelf under the counter and looked up at the lot of them. "What can I get for you all?"

LaRae stared up at Nanashi while he was answering her question and then gave a slight nod when he said he'd be back. She still didn't think that he should be up moving around especially since he was admitting that it had been getting worse as the day continued on. She would've liked to have gotten up and at least gone with him if she couldn't coax him back into the bedroom but Nobu still wasn't moving and he had laid his head back down again once Nanashi had walked away. "...Nobu... you need to get up already..." She mumbled as she looked down at him.

Nero tilted his head back down once the others had gone into the kitchen and gave a slight sigh now that they were gone. He wasn't paying very good attention or else he might have noticed Nanashi just before he knocked into him. He staggered off to the side and almost lost his balance to the point he probably could've easily fallen over. After he regained his balance and stood up straight he was already muttering incoherently and didn't sound very happy. He started to move back over to the arch he was leaning against and noticed Nanashi. He glared at him for a moment, about to open his mouth to say something to him about what just happened but he changed his mind once he got a good look at him.

Celestine glanced back to Hikari for a moment and then looked over to the man when he came to the counter. He stood there for a moment until it seemed that Hikari was waiting on him since he was the first one in here. "...Um...I just wanted some fruit. Some for me and some to feed to Nobu." He didn't know what to call Nobu, so he just said 'feed to' to make it pretty clear he was referring to an animal. "I'm not really picky on what kind." he said simply.

Hikari smiled warmly at the man behind the counter and then waited until Celestine was finished. She was trying to think while Celestine spoke. She wanted something simple that wouldn't take too long but would at least do something for the fact that she hadn't eaten for a while. "Um... I think I'll settle for a salad." she said lightly. She would have rather had something more complex but she didn't want to make them work too much after dinner and she was in a hurry to get back outside. She glanced back to Kyran and smiled slightly before shimmying off to the side.

Nanashi sighed quietly as he leaned his shoulder against the cool stone. It felt good against his burning skin so he leaned his head against it as well. "...D-do...do you have....any idea where Hikari is?" he asked quietly. Normally he wouldn't have bothered to bother Nero more than he had when he fell against him, but he really didn't feel like wandering around to look for her. He closed his eyes tightly and exhaled sharply when he felt the sharp pain in his head again. He was pretty sure that whatever was wrong there had gone a little beyond just a headache.

Kyran waited until both Celestine and Hikari had told the guy what they had wanted before he opened his mouth. He took a step closer to the counter and then looked at the guy, offering a slight smile. "By chance... would you have anything left over from when you made dinner for today?" He asked. He too wanted something that wouldn't take long to prepare and if there were leftovers then that would be good enough for him.

The man gave a nod to Celestine and then another to Hikari when they told him what they wanted. He looked over at Kyran when he asked if there was anything left over from dinner and gave another nod. "Of course there is." He paused. "We've always got a little left over from the meals... It's easier to cook for everyone who's supposed to be here then to go around and ask who's going to be here to eat." He added before he stepped away from the counter and started to get everything together that they had asked for. Since he was the only one in the kitchen at the time it was going to take him a little longer to get everything prepared then it would have if the other cook had been there. He returned to the counter once he had finished getting the fruits together for Celestine; He'd peeled them and put them in a bowl on the counter along with a small knife should he have wanted to cut any of them. The pineapple was the only thing that he had bothered to slice up, mostly because of it's size. He'd given him a combination of the same fruits he had gotten the night before. He then left the counter again to start working on the salad. When he was finished with that he stopped off to pick up a plate of leftovers from the fridge, heated that up and then went back to the counter and set the food down for them. The salad was in a bowl and had sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and black olives in it. Then the plate of leftovers was grilled chicken with garlic potatoes and a roll. He also made sure to set out utensils for the food before he left the counter once again to get some glasses to fill with cold water. He set them down too and then offered a pleasant smile. "Is there anything else that I can get for any of you?"

Nero gave Nanashi another quick once over, taking brief notice to his lack of boots and coat as well as the obvious fact that the guy didn't feel well. He'd never admit it but he was a little concerned after looking at Nanashi. He glanced over to the kitchen door when Nanashi asked his question. He lifted his hand a little and pointed in that direction momentarily. "She's in the kitchen." He answered. Ordinarily he might have looked at Nanashi like he was crazy and gone off on him about how he didn't keep tabs on the whereabouts of light dragons, let alone that one in particular but seeing as Nanashi clearly didn't feel well he didn't really want to add to it.

Celestine stood quietly beside Hikari while waiting for the fruit. He was really ready to just go settle down for a while and relax a bit. He smiled slightly when he saw the bowl of fruit and walked up to take it along with the knife which he just sat down in the bowl. He hovered around for a bit until he'd come back with the water and smiled slightly, taking it as well. "No, thank you. I'm good." he told him when he asked if there was anything else.

Hikari waited as patiently as she could for the rest of the food to be prepared, though she kept glancing toward the door. She half wished she'd thought to ask for leftovers too since obviously that would have probably been better and taken less time. She was getting more and more antsy as the time went by since she really wanted to see the beginning. Once he came back with her salad and Kyran's food she almost drooled at the sight of the chicken. In all honesty she wasn't a huge fan of salad, but she'd decided to go that rout since it was good for you and kind of filling as well as relatively easy to make. When he came back once again with the water she smiled brightly, "I'm fine. Thank you very much." she said lightly as she claimed her food and utensils as well as her water. It had already been about ten minutes or so, which for three orders was really fast, but still cutting it a little close for her so she didn't want to ask for anything more. She backed up and waited for Kyran to get his food so they could head out and fine somewhere to sit.

Nanashi raised his head a little and forced his eyes open once again, following Nero's finger to the door with his eyes. He nodded slightly and started to push himself away from the wall slowly. "...Thanks..." he muttered quietly. He started to take another step forward though again the movement made him dizzy and he found himself groping for the wall again, though again since he had moved forward he missed the wall. Unfortunately this time he pretty much missed Nero as well. His hand caught the very edge of his shoulder and then just slid right across his chest and off of him, which caused him to just continue falling. He gasped and closed his eyes tightly as he prepared to connect with the ground. As soon as he closed his eyes he felt another stabbing pain in his forehead like something was stabbing him in the eye, which he was pretty sure now was the case. The lid covering his third eye had decided to slide back since he was having so much trouble seeing straight, but now his sweaty, wet bandanna was touching it. There was no dip in hie forehead that would keep it from directly touching his eye like there was if he was actually wearing a blind fold, if his eye opened while the bandanna was on the bandanna was just laying on it, and it really didn't feel good. He almost wanted to rip the bandanna off, but he wouldn't...not with Nero there.

Kyran waited quietly for the food to be brought to them. While he waited he glanced over to Hikari occasionally, noticing how restless she was getting. He shook his head lightly, guessing she was just eager to see this thing with the moons. He was surprised to see what the leftovers were when the guy set the food down. He hadn't expected something like that and the chicken looked really good. He smiled a bit when the guy set the water down and shook his head a little. "No, thank you. This is just fine." He said as he picked up his plate, utensils and water. He turned and looked at Hikari. "Okay, hurry, before you miss anything." He said with a soft laugh.

Nero stood there for a moment longer and was thinking about going to find somewhere else to stand, somewhere with less traffic. So far in a matter of minutes he'd managed to see everyone but Aamori and LaRae and he just wanted to get away from everyone again. He was about to move until he felt Nanashi's hand touch his shoulder briefly. He probably wouldn't have thought another thing about it except for how hot Nanashi's hand was when he touched him, then on top of that the guy was falling right in front of him. He gave a heavy sigh and reached out with his hand to grab a firm hold of the back collar of Nanashi's shirt to keep him from hitting the ground. If anything Nanashi's knees would probably have touched the ground for a few moments while he was moved back over to the wall between the arches. Nero moved him mostly by keeping a hold of his shirt; He pulled him back onto his rear and then drug him back over to the wall and set him back first against the wall before releasing his shirt. He took a step back and crossed his arms over his chest as he looked down at Nanashi. "...What's wrong with you?"

Nanashi felt his knees touch the ground before his shirt stopped him from falling, though as soon as the material caught by his neck he heard a rip and then felt the collar loosen for a second, and the thin material continued to rip little by little as Nero moved him around. By the time he'd gotten him leaned back against the wall his old worn out shirt was ripped a jagged three inches front the front. As soon as he was settled he threw his hand over his third eye and squeezed against the bandanna a little, trying to push it off of his eye, but it was tied on too tightly to manage that so he just pressed on it a little, trying to make it close, but it wasn't working. That thing seemed to have a mind of it's own sometimes. He drew his knees up slightly and whimpered quietly as he gritted his teeth and ducked his head. He was quiet for a few moments after Nero asked his question and then shook his head. "...Ah...I...I don't know!!" He gasped, sounding both frightened and in pain. His head was killing him, as was that blasted third eye, and the fact that he had no idea what was wrong with him was really starting to creep him out, not to mention the fact that he was pretty sure he was bothering Nero, and that was the last thing that he ever wanted to do, especially after the little talk he'd had with him about trying to kill LaRae.

Hikari laughed softly at Kyran's comment and then started toward the door. "Come on, Celestine, you want to see?" she asked, wagging her tail slightly.
"See what?" he asked in his usual monotone voice as he started toward the door as well.
"There's going to be a red moon tonight."
"There's a red moon every night." He said simply.
"No I mean the third moon is going to be red!" she said with a giggle.
Celestine could tell she was really excited, but he just lowered his ears slightly and laughed weakly. "I...don't really care." he admitted. "I just want to eat. I'm sure I will catch a glimpse of it before the night is out."
Hikari just laughed slightly and then fumbled to get the door open. She finally managed to get it open and held it with her foot, motioning with her head for the others to go out before she started out herself, though she wasn't paying too close attention to what was outside the door just yet, she was looking down to see what all was in her salad. .

Nero stared down at Nanashi and shook his head seeing how he practically curled in on himself while he was sitting there. He gave a heavy sigh when Nanashi finally answered his question. How could he not know what was wrong with him? Considering how hot he was he assumed whatever was wrong with him was exclusive to the fire clan. He also guessed that Nanashi was looking for Hikari so he could ask her about it since he didn't know himself what was wrong, but he somehow doubted that Hikari had ever dealt with anything that gave a side effect of hot skin like Nanashi had right now. He turned his attention slightly towards the kitchen door when it opened. Finally. They'd been in there long enough already and he didn't want to be stuck listening to Nanashi whining any longer because he was in pain. He'd only stayed where he was and helped keep Nanashi from hitting the ground because he didn't really want to just leave the guy alone and hurting like he was.

Kyran followed after them when they started for the door. He briefly took notice to how Hikari was wagging her tail and shook his head lightly while he laughed softly. She certainly was excited about this. He listened to her and Celestine go back and forth for a moment and then thought to add something while Hikari was fumbling to get the door open. "This red moon thing, apparently only happens once every sixty years." He didn't think that would make Celestine as interested in it as Hikari was but it might at least make him put forth a little more effort to take a look. When Hikari motioned for them to pass through the door he waited for Celestine to go since he was ahead of him and then passed through and stepped off to the side of the door, intending to wait for Hikari to decide where she wanted to go sit so they could eat and watch the moons. It didn't take very long for him to notice Nanashi sitting on the ground and Nero standing just off to the side of him. Of course the first question to run through his mind was what was wrong with Nanashi and then did Nero do anything to him.

Celestine glanced to Kyran when he said that it only happened once every sixty years and then sighed slightly, "Alright, alright I'll look." he said with a half smile as he glanced at Hikari. Once she finally got the door open he stepped outside and was about to just head down to hall to feed something to Nobu when he caught sight of Nanashi sitting there. The guy was literally shining with sweat and he just about looked like someone had thrown him in a pool or something if his hair was a little more wet at the top. "What are you doing out here?" he asked, already sounding concerned since he obviously had some prior knowledge of him not feeling well. LaRae had told him that he wasn't feeling well earlier...he hadn't thought it was this bad.

Hikari glanced up when she heard Celestine speak and almost walked into him since he'd stopped moving, but she managed to stop before she took that next step. She looked past Celestine and her eyes widened slightly when she caught sight of Nanashi sitting there. "What's going on!?" she asked quickly, thinking about the same thing as Kyran. She could tell by the way Nanashi was acting that something was really hurting him, and she was judging by what he was holding that it was his head. It was kind of hard to see too much since the sun had already pretty much set and it was getting dark, but even at that she could see that he was sweating like mad. She quickly set her salad and water down off to the side of the door and then hurried over to Nanashi and knelt down beside him. "Okay, what's wrong?" she asked quickly as she laid her hand on his arm, though she quickly jerked it back with a gasp, startled by how warm he was. After a second she lightly touched his arm again and put her hand back, though she almost felt like she was keeping her hand on top of a plate that had been in a hot oven and was only just getting to the point that it was cool enough to hold without blistering yourself on it. She raised her other hand to the one that he was holding to his forehead and tried to push it away so she could see if there was something wrong there.

Nanashi just barely raised his head when he heard the door opening, but he didn't respond to Celestine's question, nor to Hikari's. When Hikari first touched him he flinched away a little just as she pulled her hand away from him. He was just as surprised by how cold her hand felt as she was by how hot his arm was. When she touched him the second time he didn't move at first and attempted to answer her question. "M-my...h-head....h-hurts...." he gasped out between deep breaths. He pulled away slightly when she tried to move his hand. "Nn..." He didn't want her anywhere near his forehead right now.

Hikari pulled her hand back a little when he jerked away from her, gathering that he apparently didn't want her touching his head. She bit her lower lip lightly, her ears falling back a little in concern. she had no idea what was wrong with him other than he had a dangerously high fever and she didn't even know how he was still conscious, though she guessed his body could stand reaching relatively high temperatures since the fire clan's skin was usually much warmer to the touch than most other clans anyway. All she really knew to do was lay him down and try to get his temperature to go down. "...Alright, come on, let's get you back to bed and I will see what I can do, okay?..." she said quietly. She shifted positions and took the arm that wasn't stuck to his forehead, wrapping it around her shoulders before she wrapped her arm around his back and stood up slowly, giving him tile to get his feet back under him again. She didn't bother to ask anyone for help since Celestine and Kyran still had their hands full and she'd learned enough not to ask Nero for anything unnecessary when the others were present, and she could manage him by herself. Thankfully, Nanashi didn't weigh a whole lot because she had a feeling she was doing most of the work here. She slowly stepped through the arch and into the grass, thinking it would be faster and easier to make a straight line rather than go around to get to the other side where the doors were. Once she stepped out she couldn't help but glance up to the sky for a moment. So much for getting to watch the moon...it was already starting to turn a faint shade of red.

Nanashi helped Hikari in getting him to his feet as much as he could and then followed her lead out into the grass. They didn't get very far like that unfortunately. Barely two yards from the arch they'd just left, his head started to ache terribly again, though this time it was different. This didn't feel like a headache, this felt more like something trying to tear his push his head apart from the inside. On each side of his head he could feel the same force pressing against his skin just a little above and ahead of his ears. "Nnng...ahh...AHHH!!" He moved his hand from his forehead over to the other side of his head and quickly removed his arm from around Hikari's shoulders so he could do the same to the other side. He pressed tightly on each side of his head, trying to push...whatever it was back, but it wasn't helping. He suddenly let out a rather loud, agonized scream when he finally felt his skin rip open along with the section of the bandanna that was covering that area. Something sharp shoved against his hands and he was forced to move them down a little and long ivory horns forced their way out of his skull and between his fingers, curling up, then back over his head and then up again in smooth arches. Blood covered the majority of the new horns and dripped off of the edges as well as ran down over his fingers. Mere seconds passed before he felt the same pain running all along his back and he let out another scream of terror and agony and almost buried his head between his knees as nearly two inch brow fins forced their way in rapid succession out of his back over each of his vertebra, starting at the top of his neck and running all the way to the tip of his tail, growing slightly smaller as they neared the end. He could hear the skin of his back and the material of his clothing rip loudly as each new little curved spike emerged and he could feel the hot blood soaking into his shirt and running down his back as it leaked out from around the spikes. He remained arched where he was for the moment, gasping harshly for breath as he tried to cope with the pain, though his skin felt like it was on fire around each of areas where it had been been broken.

Nero took a couple steps back once they were all back out from the kitchen. Thankfully he didn't have to keep an eye on Nanashi now and he could just go back to ignoring everyone. He only bothered paying attention to what Hikari was doing until she started helping Nanashi get to his feet. He was a little surprised that she didn't bother asking any of the the guys to help. He was pretty sure that Kyran might have dropped the stuff in his hands to help if he was asked. Then even he would have helped if asked, of course he wouldn't do it without any complaints, but he'd still have done it. When someone was in need he did try and help if he could, after all that much was proven when he had to carry Nanashi out of that forest in Caledonia. He continued to watch Hikari and Nanashi for a moment as they passed through the arch. Then he turned slightly and started to walk back towards his room through the hall. He wound up stopping by the time he reached the next arch because he'd heard Nanashi's screams. He stepped over to the arch and leaned his shoulder against it with his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the horns and then the spikes that burst forth out of Nanashi's skin. You couldn't tell it by looking at his face because it still held his usual emotionless expression but he was rather concerned seeing as half breeds weren't supposed to have horns. Not to mention that really had to hurt feeling the skin rip apart so that those horns and spikes could force their way out.

Kyran watched as Hikari set down her salad and her water and then moved over to Nanashi. He briefly thought about putting his stuff down too, but he was hungry and he didn't think there was anything that he could do right at this moment to help. He kept an ear out while he turned and set his glass down near Hikari's. He stood upright again and couldn't help not picking at his chicken. He had a feeling if he didn't start eating a little of it now he wasn't going to get to until later. He continued to stand there listening but he was eating a little; He'd picked up a piece of the grilled chicken and was taking bites from it while watching what was going on. By the time Hikari had started helping Nanashi to his feet, he had already finished one piece of chicken and was turning around to set his plate down on the ground too. On his way back up again he snagged the roll off the plate and took a bite as he started to head towards the courtyard where Hikari and Nanashi had gone. He soon found himself stopped and no longer in the mood to finish eating once his eyes caught sight of the horns and spikes that were coming out of Nanashi's skin. Ordinarily the sight of blood and stuff really didn't bother his stomach but seeing the skin ripped like that really just made him stomach turn a little. He shook his head and walked back to his plate, dropping the partly eaten roll on it and then reached for his glass, taking a sip to force down the bite of the roll that caught in his throat. He gave a heavy sigh and then stood up and moved back to the courtyard with a rather concerned look on his face. He wanted to be there to help, but right now he couldn't even find the words to ask what was wrong.

LaRae had started to give up on getting Nobu to move. Apparently the canine liked to lay on people when he got the chance and he obviously was in need of some attention. Well, that was the only reason she could think of as to why he wouldn't get off of her even when she asked and had pushed on him a little. She really didn't want to be forceful with him. For now she was just going to let him stay there, nothing was going on anyway. Though she was really worried about Nanashi and she hadn't been able to see him from where she was so she hoped that he'd found Hikari and she'd been able to do something for him. She was just about to lay her head back against the stone wall once more when she heard Nanashi's first scream. Her eyes shot open wide when she heard that and she of course wanted up now more than ever. She only sat there for a second longer when Nobu still didn't budge and then she panicked a bit. All Nobu had done was lift his head and look in the direction where they heard Nanashi. She nearly spazzed out because she couldn't get up. She shut her eyes tightly and smacked her slightly balled up fists against the ground. In that brief fit she'd unintentionally used her magic, forcing about three roots to burst out of the ground from the grassy area of the courtyard. They shot over to where she was and wrapped themselves rather tightly around Nobu's middle and lifted him up off of her, leaving him suspended in the air about three an half feet. She opened her eyes when she felt the weight lifted off of her and was about to dart up and go to Nanashi but she paused for a moment once she was to her feet and stared at Nobu who was whining a little while held up by the roots. She started to put her hand out to pet him and get him down but she couldn't, not after hearing Nanashi. "I'm sorry Nobu, I didn't mean to... I'll get you down in a few minutes." She uttered quickly and then started to rush out to the courtyard. She rather quickly though came to a stop a few feet away from Hikari and Nanashi and stared at Nanashi. She wasn't exactly sure what to feel at the moment after seeing the horns and spikes all she knew is that she was extremely worried about him and it could show on her face easily, even more so since he was crying out from the pain.

Celestine just stood there, holding onto his little bowl of fruit and watching Hikari. He would have offered to help Hikari if she'd asked, but he somehow had a feeling he wouldn't have been a whole lot of help in moving Nanashi. Unlike Kyran he didn't bother trying to eat just yet, he was a little too concerned even though there wasn't anything he could do at the moment. He sighed and started to follow them out to the courtyard since they were going close to where he had intended to go anyway. He stopped dead in his tracks when Nanashi started to scream. For a moment he had no idea what was wrong with him, then he heard the ripping sound and almost dropped the bowl. He sat everything down quickly and then looked back, almost sickened by the sight of the blood, as well as the sound that was now stuck in his head. "...Wh....what the!?"

Hikari looked over to Nanashi when he started to pull away from her and reached down to put her hand on his shoulder when he started screaming. "What!? What is it!?" she asked though her question was quickly answered when she heard his skin starting to rip. She gasped and jerked her hand back again, straightening up while she stared down at him, her eyes wide with both shock and horror as she watched and finally realized what was happening. She looked up again at the moon once the spikes had forced their way out and saw that it was still turning a deeper shade of red. "...Oh no..." she muttered quietly. She looked back down and looked around at the others for a moment, opening her mouth as if she wanted to say something but had no idea what. After a moment she closed her mouth again and knelt beside Nanashi quickly. Even her hair seemed to be giving off a red glow under the light of this moon. She was trying her best not to panic, but it was hard not to after seeing this, especially since she had no idea what to do to help.

Nanashi was hardly aware of the others looking at him, for once he didn't even care. The horns had almost ripped his bandanna in half, so it was now much looser than it had been and was handing slightly, though the eye was still not visible as of yet. He was beginning to think that the worst of it was over...at least until his gut started to ache. His hands fell from his head and one arm landed on the ground in front of him, holding him up a little as the other wrapped tightly around his stomach. His insides felt like they were blazing and trying to twist around at odd angles. The feeling was enough to make him gag, though thankfully he had nothing in his stomach so that didn't really do anything but make him heave. He gritted his teeth and whined as he tried not to scream again while the violent, painful shudders ran though his body, causing him to shake and convulse on the ground. He clawed at the ground with his and, tearing at the grass as he tried to restrain himself and keep quiet. He was doing a poor enough job as it was but when his ribs started to reshape themselves he let out another jagged scream that ended in heavy sobs. He couldn't tell what was going on but it felt as if his rib cage had expanded and as if thee were a few more ribs than he usually had. They were a bit more ridged and stood out against his tight shirt now to the point that he looked like he had been starved even more so than he had appeared before. He screamed again, but this time it came out differently, as if there were two voices coming from him. One was his own in that agonized scream of terror and the other sounded more like the shrill cry of a dragon in it's true form when something was killing it. His arm finally gave out beneath him and he fell onto his side, curling in on himself as his body continued to shift and change. His hands started to twitch and his middle and ring finger on each hand seemed to lock together before they literally fused into one and his nails turned into long black talons. All of his fingers seemed to grow longer and lose the top joint where they could only bend in one area much like the thumb. His feet pulled something similar to what his hands had done, growing and fusing until he had three wider toes on each foot with a shiny black talon protruding from each, and a fourth coming from his heel. Scales then started to grow in him, starting at his fingertips and working up to well back his elbows and knees. They appeared along his back and around the side of his head where the horns had grown in as well, apparently growing in every place where something had changed. The scales were red, just like the ones on his tail, but where they stopped on his arm it was apparent that they faded into purple like the one he carried around from his mother did. He was starting to look more like a dragon with his arms and legs, but most of his body seemed to be resisting the change. He didn't grow at all, and the only changes in his face were the face that the red in his iris seemed to spill out and take over the entirety of his eye except for the pupil and his teeth became considerably longer and sharper. He had continued to scream and writhe as the changes took place, only before there was nothing else he could do. He gas gasping quickly for air, his heart pounding so hard that it literally hurt when it beat. His pupils narrowed into tiny slits as he caught sight of his own hands and screamed again. The scales were hot on his skin that wasn't intended to have them and they felt like tiny embers stuck all over his skin. He screamed again and flailed, wildly on the ground, tearing at his arms with the talons as he tried to rip the scales off, though all he was managing to do was tear himself open. He was doing the same with his feet, nearly shredding his pants as he tried to claw off the scales. "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!?!?!? IT BURNS!! IT BURNS!!!!" He shrieked.

Hikari could only watch in horror as he convulsed and mutated, completely helpless when it came to doing anything for him until it was over. She gasped and quickly grabbed Nanashi's wrists, trying to pull his claws away from his arms, but by now he was actually pretty strong, and the scales really were hot enough to burn her hands so he was very hard to hold onto. "Nanashi! Stop it! You're hurting yourself!" she tried to tell him, but he didn't really seem to be listening. She managed to get one of his arms pulled back though she gasped and quickly let go when he tore open her arm while trying to get to his own. "Ah.." she put her hand over the gashes for a moment and then grabbed for him again. He was flailing about like a wild animal in pain and lashing out at what was hurting him...which was apparently the scales. "HELP ME! I can't hold him!!"

Nero continued to stand there leaning against the arch without even budging an inch while he watched the remainder of the changes that Nanashi was going through. He still didn't seem to phased by any of this, just by looking at him. He was quite caught off guard by all of this and he'd never even heard of anything like this happening to half breeds. Then again, he didn't really know of any half breeds that had even lived as long as Nanashi had. He really must have looked cold hearted because he wasn't even showing any emotion while Nanashi was flailing and tearing at himself. He did finally shake his head a little seeing Hikari had gone and grabbed a hold of Nanashi. Oh yeah, that was smart. Nanashi had already said it burned, and he knew Nanashi had to be even hotter considering how hot he was before the changes and yet Hikari still threw her hands out to touch him. He wasn't even surprised to see Nanashi had managed to claw Hikari too while he was trying to get at those scales. He couldn't help but shake his head again with a 'yeah right' laugh when she said she needed help. Oh yeah, he really wanted to rush right over and try to hold that thing down and get himself burned in the process. Oh yes, that sounded like a lot of fun. He still stuck close to the arch, just staring over at Nanashi while he flailed around. Regardless of him not wanting to rush over and help he had already thought of a conceivable way to help without anyone really getting hurt but he couldn't resist the urge to see just how many of them would run over and touch Nanashi to try and restrain him.

Kyran was finding it a little harder to keep his stomach in check as he watched the changes that Nanashi was going through. He was really starting to regret putting food in his stomach now because it didn't seem to want to stay down. He didn't think he was going to get sick and just upchuck but it certainly wasn't sitting there quietly. He couldn't explain why the sight of this was bothering him but maybe it was just that this wasn't something he'd ever seen before and it was pretty much Nanashi mutating right in front of him. He finally managed to get a hold of himself and stared almost blankly for a moment when Hikari started to grab him and try to hold him down. He had already started closer when Nanashi cut her arm open, extremely concerned now since it clearly wasn't going to be an easy case to restrain Nanashi. He wasn't sure whether or not to try and hold down Nanashi's legs or his other arm. He only thought about it briefly and then knelt down and reached out to grab a firm hold of Nanashi's other arm to try and keep it restrained. He clenched his teeth and pinched his lips together when he felt just how hot the scales were against his hands. He didn't say anything and just tried to relax for a minute before looking over at Hikari. "...Are you alright?" He asked, concerned with her arm.

LaRae hadn't really moved from where she was standing once she caught sight of Nanashi. She just kind of kept staring at him in an obvious state of disbelief. She wanted to be able to help him since he was in such agonizing pain but what could she possibly do. She absently took a couple short steps back when Nanashi started changing even more. Her heart was practically caught in her throat right now and she was completely at a loss all the way around. She might even say she was a little frightened. She didn't like seeing him like this, being in pain or the fact that he was mutating for lack of better words. She lifted her hand momentarily and pressed her fingertips lightly against the emerald jewel in her choker absently while she stood there. She just kind of froze and it didn't even look like she was breathing so when Hikari said she needed help she just continued to stand there almost like she hadn't heard a word that was said.

Hikari was a little relieved when Kyran grabbed Nanashi's other arm, mainly because he'd kept nearly clawing her with it again. "Don't worry about that right now!" she said quickly when he started asking about her arm. "That's the least of our problems..." She glanced down to Nanashi's feet and gasped at the sight of his legs. They were gashed all over the place and bleeding everywhere.

Celestine stared in absolute horror at Nanashi as he writhed on the ground, coming closer to tears every time Nanashi screamed. He really hated to see or hear anything in pain, and right now Nanashi sounded like killing him might be a kind gesture just to put him out of his misery. It really didn't help that he'd actually come to like Nanashi so seeing him like this and having no idea how to help him only made it harder to listen to him. His eyes widened when he saw the way Nanashi started to tear at himself, but he still didn't move...at least not until Hikari called for help and Kyran went over. He knew that Nanashi's scales were too hot to touch from the way that he was screaming, but he moved forward anyway. Since Kyran had gotten his arm he came up near his legs, though he didn't seem to know how to go about restraining him. He started to reach then changed his mind, not wanting to get burned, though after another second or watching his talons rip though the scales and flesh yet again, he reached down and grabbed for his ankles, trying to hold his feet down. If he kept up at the rate he was going he was going to bleed to death before this was all over. Those were by no means just little cuts. He sucked in his breath when his hands connected with the scales, though he was beginning to think the blood was hotter than they were. It was literally steaming in the cool night air as it ran onto his fingers, scalding them. He cringed and forced all of his weight down on his arms in an attempt to pin his legs. Unfortunately...he was tiny, and he didn't weigh a whole lot to begin with, and Nanashi had gotten stronger. Even with all of his efforts, Nanashi was still managing to claw himself a little. It was his tail that got him, however. He was so concentrated on holding down Nanashi's legs that he didn't even see his tail swing up toward him. He was suddenly blindsided in the side of the head with considerable force, the small spikes on his tail slitting his cheek in a few places before his head hit the ground a couple of feet from where he had been before. The blow had actually caused him to skid across the grass. Most might have been able to get up after that, but that was enough to put Celestine down for a while. After he hit the ground he didn't budge again.

"Cele--" she started to warn him to watch for the tail, but she didn't get it out in time. She looked back to him and then glanced around quickly. LaRae could probably be the most help right now, he she wasn't even sure she was even hearing her when she spoke. She finally looked back to Nero who was still just standing there without a hint of care on his face at all. "Nero!!" she called in a downright pleasing tone, "PLEASE!! Do something!!!" She begged, sounding as if she was almost in tears. Nanashi was going to end up killing himself before this was over if he didn't hold still and stop clawing his skin to pieces, and if it came to being physical, Nero would have a much better chance at holding his legs still than Celestine or LaRae would.

Nanashi was only barely aware of what was going on, he knew he was being held down, but the only thing that told him was that he couldn't get those burning things off of him. It actually felt better in places where he could just completely rip the skin off, at least then he didn't have nerves telling his brain that he was on fire. He didn't realize how badly be was bleeding or that he was hurting himself worse, he didn't even realize that he'd scratched Hikari or knocked Celestine unconscious. All he knew was that he was in a lot of pain and he just wanted it to stop. Even if it took someone slitting his throat that would be better than putting up with this for much longer. He was still screaming and struggling violently to get his arms free, though by now his eyes were streaming with tears and he was sobbing so hard that he could barely even breathe.

Nero watched as both Kyran and Celestine wound up going over to try and help. He still kept a straight face even when Nanashi's tail collided with Celestine and sent him flying a few feet. He honestly couldn't say he saw that one coming, at least not until the tail had gotten close enough to Celestine. He shifted his eyes a little when Hikari opened her mouth and begged for him to help. He stared at her for a moment, looking completely uninterested in helping and then glanced over to LaRae briefly. He shook his head seeing that she wasn't even moving. She kind of looked dead to the world just standing there like that. He guessed that meant there was no one else to help out now but him since Celestine wasn't moving either. He gave a heavy sigh and finally pushed himself away from the arch and stood up straighter as he took a couple steps towards them. He still didn't look like he cared, or that he was even going to help or that matter. He came to a stop a few feet away from them and lifted his arms up slightly, setting his palms out face down. After a few moments a pitch black aura engulfed his hands and then coated his eyes. Then it looked like part of his shadow cast by the light from the moons lifted up and extended around him to his hands, creating solid back orbs. He continued to use his shadow to create the orbs one at a time, then tossing them out in front of him letting them float there. He continued until he had five of them and then his shadow fell back to the ground behind him and the aura at his hands and his eyes faded. He dropped one hand back down to his side and used the other to guide the orbs one at a time until they had stuck to Nanashi and then the ground. He started by positioning two of the sticky orbs at Nanashi's knees, one on each leg. Then he took one and had it stick to his tail near the tip, and finally he stepped a little closer, bringing the remaining two orbs with him. "Let go of him as these go down on his arms." He told them before sending one orb over to the arm Kyran was holding, making it stick to Nanashi's forearm just below his elbow and then to the ground. Repeating the process on the arm that Hikari was holding. These orbs were going to be considerably stronger at binding Nanashi to the ground because it was already night. Had it been day and the sun was out he doubted the orbs would've been of too much help if Nanashi had gotten stronger than he was before. He took a couple steps back and crossed his arms over his chest like he usually did. His expression still didn't change very much, now he just looked a little annoyed since he had to help out and use magic just to keep himself from being burned. "Oh... don't touch those black orbs unless you want to be stuck to them."

Kyran was trying to ignore the fact that his hands were hurting for the sake of keeping Nanashi's arm pinned down. He gave a slight sigh when Hikari told him not to worry about her right now. He knew the bigger concern was Nanashi but he couldn't help being concerned for her well being too. He lifted his eyes again when he heard Hikari start to say Celestine's name. He glanced down at Nanashi's feet and cringed just in time to see his tail sail across Celestine's head and send him flying a couple feet. Now he really wished that he had taken Nanashi's legs instead, especially since Celestine wasn't moving. He turned his attention again when Hikari turned to Nero for help. He just watched for a moment as Nero finally moved away from the arch and started towards them. Though at first it really didn't look like he was going to help. He kept pressure on Nanashi's arm while he continued to watch Nero, a little curious at how those black orbs were going to help. He thought it would've been better for Nero to just grab the guys legs instead of wasting time creating these orbs from his shadow. Though, once he saw what the orbs could do his entire opinion changed. Once Nero had put the orb on the arm he was trying to keep down he removed his hands and then watched as the last orb went down. He was just about to reach out and touch the one in front of him until Nero warned against doing that. He was curious about these things, they seemed to be very sticky and it was kind of amazing how they stuck like glue and forced Nanashi's limbs down to the ground. He sat back now that he didn't need to hold Nanashi down and started to look at his hands to see how badly burned they were but stopped, giving a heavy sigh and then let his hands rest in his lap.

LaRae still wasn't being of much help. She was still standing there barely moving with an extremely worried look on her face. She couldn't believe this was happening, whatever it was. She also hated seeing him clawing at himself while trying to rip the scales from his skin. She couldn't stand to see him hurting himself like he was but she couldn't bring herself to get close enough to him right now to help. All of the changes he'd gone through, kind of crept her out. She was paying very little attention to anything else going on around her, to the point that she didn't even register when Nanashi's tail collided with Celestine. She barely even noticed that Nero had actually come over and started helping. She probably would've missed that completely had the black orbs not caught her attention. She could only keep herself looking for a moment before she had to look away all together. She hadn't really been focusing before when she was staring so it wasn't until now that she noticed just how much Nanashi was bleeding. Blood didn't bother her that much, but the fact that it was Nanashi who was bleeding so badly, that's what got to her.

Hikari kept her eyes on Nero as he finally got around to getting over here. She was starting to get extremely frustrated to the point that she wanted to scream at him when he appeared to not be doing anything. When he finally got around to doing something, she just stared at him, wondering what in the world he was doing. She stared at the orbs for a moment until they started to stick to Nanashi and pin him down. She moved her hands down closer to Nanashi's wrists when the last orb started to come down on his arm and then let go and pulled her hands back just as it touched down. She looked at the orbs that were pinning him and then started to assess the damage. She was so peeved at Nero right night that she could have almost hit him with something. If he could have done this earlier instead of just standing there like a dunce Nanashi's legs wouldn't have been torn up half as badly as they were and Celestine more than likely wouldn't have been knocked out. She didn't waste her time acting on that brief thought however, she didn't even take time to check her hands or her arm before he got up and hurried down to Nanashi's legs. For once, she didn't even five her unlimited curiosity a chance to question the orbs or how they worked. She didn't care as long as they were working. His legs were the worse off of everything since they were considerably stronger than his arms and had been free longer, so he was losing the most blood from that area. She held her hands out over the countless gashes a little above each leg and started chanting quietly, a little too rattled to just do it in her head. She didn't even close her eyes this time so they were soon shining more brightly than they normally did, giving off the same pale aura that her hands gave when she healed. There was one minor difference in the aura tonight, however, it seemed to be tinged slightly red as well. There were two types of light dragon, those who's power was more evident in sunlight, and those whose power was more evident in moonlight. She just happened to draw her power mostly from the moonlight, which was why the aura seemed red at the moment. Once the gashes had closed on his legs she quickly moved back to his arms and repeated the process again, already noticing that his struggles and cries were already weakening a bit. She assumed that was from the amount of blood that he had lost already through everything...combined with the fact that he was just wearing himself out. Once she finished with his arms she brought her hands down to rest against the grass and gasped quietly, obviously pretty tired herself now. Even though the moon was out and all, that was still a lot to try to heal, and she was pouring a lot of energy into doing it quickly to avoid him losing anymore blood; he'd already painted a nice portion of the grass around him. He was still bleeding around the horns and spikes in his back but there wasn't a lot she could do about that until they were gone. She glanced over to Celestine and then back to Kyran. "...C-can...you go...check on him?..." she asked breathlessly. She would have done it herself if she wasn't a little afraid to get up at the moment.

Nanashi grew a little frantic when he found himself unable to really move anything. He struggled hard for a minute but he soon felt too tired to even care. His heart was still pounding hard and fast, which had only increased the blood flow through all of the lacerations he'd given himself. The panic still wouldn't leave him. He had no idea what was going on, and her was afraid he was going to be stuck this way. His hysterical sobs finally started to fade into ragged gasps for air with a few broken sobs scattered throughout, though his eyes never lessened in their rain of tears. After Hikari had healed him, he wasn't sure if it felt better or worse since everything was repaired; it still burned like hell fire. After a few more moments of struggles he gave in and just started gasping for air again, closing his eyes tightly. "....M....ma....make....make...i-it....s-st-stop....." he pleaded in a weak, strained voice, "....Please...m-make it...st-stop..." That was all he wanted right now, he just wanted the pain to go away.

Hikari looked down to Nanashi again when he spoke and her ears fell back. That almost sounded more like a 'kill me and get it over with' plea. She shook her head and gently laid her hand against his face after wiping it off in the grass. It was uncomfortable, especially with the burns on her palms, but she didn't mind. "...I can't, Nanashi... just hang in there..." she said softly. "...You'll...be okay...I'll stay right here." she tried to assure him as she wiped the tears off of his cheeks. She honestly didn't know if he would be alright or not, but she couldn't tell him that. Most half breeds who lived long enough to hit one of these stages where their bodies tried to force themselves to change forms usually died before it was all over, or at lest that was what she'd read.

Nero just stood there watching, mostly making sure that Nanashi didn't overpower the orbs that he had created. If need be, he could easily have added more weight to the orbs or even created more to hold him down if he had to. So far though it seemed he wouldn't have to. Nonetheless he continued to stand there, keeping an eye on them. He didn't pay too much attention to anyone else really, he didn't even care that Hikari seemed really peeved with him. He knew he probably could've done this sooner to save them all from a couple burned hands and a knocked out Celestine but he didn't care for using his magic very often, let alone in front of all of them so he really was in no hurry to help. Along with the fact he wanted to see just how many of them would reach out and touch something they knew would burn them. He couldn't say he was surprised that Kyran did it, but Celestine, that surprised him a little. Especially because he had gone for the legs, the stronger limbs, rather than ask Kyran to switch with him or something. He gave a slight sigh and continued to stand there watching as Hikari got around to healing all of the gashes that Nanashi had given himself. Healing must have been a nice ability to have; He thought briefly seeing as she'd closed up all the gashes that were causing Nanashi's blood loss. He was still a little curious as to what caused Nanashi to change like he had, giving him horns and those spikes. He finally lifted his eyes and glanced around again, looking between everyone for a brief moment. He paused however when he looked at LaRae. That was actually a little amusing to him, seeing her practically scared stiff. Yeah, he felt like laughing right about now but refrained. The fact that what was going on with Nanashi scared her, and yet she wasn't afraid of too much else including him, was humorous.

Kyran continued to sit there quietly. He had stared at the orbs for a moment, only now realizing that this was probably the first time he'd ever seen Nero use any magic whatsoever. It was kind of weird actually, since Nero was more a physical person than anything. He couldn't say he was really upset at Nero for not helping right away. At least he had done something finally. He hadn't expected him to do anything, to be honest. Then again, Nero did seem to help out somewhat if he was asked directly. He'd done that in the forest in Caledonia after all and they had obviously left Nanashi in good hands that one time because Nero hadn't killed him or just chucked him on his way out of the forest. As of right now it didn't really matter how long it took for Nero to help, Nanashi was restrained now and he was receiving the care he needed to stop the bleeding. He lifted his eyes and looked at Hikari when he heard her ask him to go check on Celestine. He let his eyes wander over to him for a moment and then he looked back to Hikari with a slight nod. He had wanted to ask if she was going to be alright, but considering what she said last time he didn't bother. He just assumed for now that she'd be fine, probably after some rest and then started to get to his feet. He had to press his palms to the grass and add pressure so that he could get up; He tried to act like that didn't hurt but how could it not? He still hadn't looked at his hands just yet, he assumed that they had probably received at the very least second degree burns. He started over to Celestine and knelt down when he reached him. He started to stretch his hand out to move him a little but stopped when he felt some pain in his hand. He finally turned his palm over and looked down at it. He hadn't noticed before but the skin after being burned had kind of hardened in place from how his hand had been wrapped around Nanashi's arm. The skin on his palm was already taut so when he stretched his fingers out it pulled and even cracked a little, of course hurting considerably. He gave a sigh and tried to just ignore it for now, after all he had been asked to check on Celestine. He reached out again with his hand and gently pushed Celestine over onto his back. It was pretty obvious that Celestine was unconscious and by looking him over he was guessing the blunt force to the head on top of hitting his head to the ground like he had was more than enough to put him out of commission for awhile. Though, Hikari had probably gathered that much herself. He reached out again and this time he lifted up Celestine's hands one at a time checking to see how badly burned they were. Since Celestine had such soft skin he was pretty sure that touching Nanashi to hold him down probably did a worse number on his hands then it would've done on his own. After he looked over Celestine's hands he set them back down on either side of him, palm side up so that they weren't brushing against anything and then shifted a bit so that he could get a closer look at his face. He reached out with both of his hands and turned Celestine's head slightly so that he could take a look at the damage those spikes had done to his cheek. He started to put his fingers to one of the slits but stopped and turned his hand over. He gently brushed the back of his index finger along one of the slits to see how deep it was and to wipe away any blood that might have come from it. He wouldn't be surprised to see that side of Celestine's face bruise from being hit that hard. He finally moved Celestine's head back so it was straight up and then sat back a little and looked over at Hikari. "...I think he'll be alright. He doesn't look much worse off then either of us, well, other than he's unconscious at the moment." He remembered this happening once before, so he wasn't too worried. Celestine did come back around eventually that one time when he fell through the crevasse in Radha and hit his head. He was a little out of it when he first regained consciousness but he seemed alright afterward. He just hoped that Celestine wouldn't be out for too long.

LaRae had turned her back towards them a bit so that she wouldn't have to look at that anymore. She continued to keep her eyes averted well through the process of Hikari healing his self inflicted wounds. It wasn't until she caught his plea to make the pain go away that her ears fell and she turned slightly to look back down at him. After hearing that she wasn't quite as scared as she was. She must have just been afraid that along with all the physical changes that he, himself would've changed too. Although hearing him had kind of shattered that fear and she actually started to move closer to him. She still didn't like seeing him the way he was right now and certainly didn't like knowing he had bled as much as he had and was still bleeding around his horns and spikes but she had come to her senses somewhat and didn't want to just stand there like a dunce when he was in so much pain. She was still a little apprehensive about approaching him and that couldn't be helped since she had honestly felt a bit of fear. She did try and mask that though once she started to kneel down where Kyran had been. The last thing she wanted was for Nanashi, in the midst of all of this pick up on the fact that he had scared her.

Aamori finally stirred after sleeping for a bit longer. She woke up and pushed herself up in bed, lifting her hand briefly to cover her mouth while she yawned. She reached for the covers and started to pull them back so that she could get out of bed. She paused, staring down at her legs for a moment and then quirked a brow slightly. She didn't remember getting into her pajamas, or getting into bed for that matter. She gave a small sigh and started to put her legs over the side of the bed so that she could stand up. Her pajamas weren't anything fancy; A pair of bottom that stopped just at her shins and then a tank top that matched. Both made from a light pale blue cotton fabric, with little ruffles lining the bottom of the tank top and around the bottom of each leg of her pants. She stretched a little once she was back on her feet and then started to walk over to her door. She could still stand to sleep for awhile longer but she was thirsty, so she was just going to head down to the kitchen quietly to get a drink and then go back to bed. Once she stepped outside of her room, that changed having seen everyone else in the courtyard. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on and she was still half asleep. She started closer, into the courtyard. As she neared closer she noticed what looked like horns on Nanashi and had to stop and pinch herself just to make sure she wasn't asleep. Nanashi wasn't supposed to have horns and just the sight of everything right now seemed surreal. She continued to just look around a little, quite obviously confused and not sure what to say or ask or even think for that matter. She lifted her hand and rubbed her eye gently before noticing Celestine laying on the ground over by Kyran. She was really confused and it was obvious just by looking at her. She looked over to Hikari, assuming she'd probably be able to explain things but when she opened her mouth to ask what had happened, her mouth just hung open for a moment before she closed it all together. She was still half asleep and just couldn't get her brain to function the way she wanted it to.

Celestine didn't respond at all when Kyran pushed him over, he was completely out of it for the time being. His tiny, girlish hands were covered in blood, though none of it was his own. Beneath all of the blood his skin had turned bright red from the heat and started to blister in several places, though he hadn't held onto Nanashi for too long. His skin wasn't really used to any extreme of a warm temperature since it was usually pretty cool in his territory and he rarely ventured out of his own territory. His face was bleeding a considerable amount from the three slashes that had caught on his cheek bone. The slashes weren't that bad and probably wouldn't bled all that much had they not been on his face, but considering their location they tended to want to bleed a bit more. Other than that, he would be alright in a bit when he was able to get up again, though more than likely just as before he would still be pretty out of it for a bit after he regained consciousness.

Hikari sighed heavily and ran her fingers back over Nanashi's hair, wishing there was something more she could do, but she didn't know how to make the burning stop. All she knew was that they were going to have t o wait it out, and they could be waiting for quite a while. She turned her attention to Kyran when he told her that he thought Celestine was alright. "...That's good..." she said softly. She shook her head and then looked up at the sky again, staring at the largest moon which was now a darker shade of red, only a couple of shades lighter than the one beside it. Her attention shifted again when she heard someone moving and she looked over to LaRae when she finally came over. Nice of your to join us... she thought absently before she sighed. Honestly she'd thought LaRae would have been one of the first ones over here trying to help. She looked back down to Nanashi again and ran her fingers over his hair again before she pulled her hand back and finally took a look at it. Her hands were burned pretty badly since she had been holding onto Nanashi longer than any of them. Her skin was cracking a little in some areas where she had been moving them and trying to ignore it, and she was developing some pretty bad blisters on her fingertips. She finally looked back to LaRae and sighed softly, "...Be careful... If you touch him don't touch his scales or those orbs." she said quietly, repeating Nero's warning. She sighed and finally peeled her one sleeve off of her arm and looked at the gashes. Well that glove was pretty much trashed. At least it wasn't the one that she had tucked her pass under. Her arm had three fairly deep gashes on her forearm running from just an inch or more below her elbow down to her wrist. Nanashi had clawed her just as well as he'd clawed himself, and unfortunately, her little sleeves weren't thick enough to save her. She didn't want to get up right now, but the was bleeding enough that a trip to medical probably would have been a good idea. For the moment she just tried to press the glove over her arm to clean it up a bit, though that just caused her to suck in air through her teeth in a low hiss. She hadn't even noticed Aamori coming from her room, and probably wouldn't until she looked that way again or the girl said something.

Nanashi was still just laying there with his eyes closed tightly, though he seemed to relax just a little when Hikari started stroking his hair. Now that he'd stopped screaming bloody murder he was starting to realize how tired he was, but beyond that, he was hearing other things that were going on around him; some thing that weren't even being said. He finally realized that he must have hurt Celestine, Hikari, and Kyran, though he wasn't entirely sure how. He had only gathered that Hikari was worried about him and Celestine and that Kyran's hands hurt. He could also feel Nero near him, though he only seemed irritated. It was LaRae that got to him though. He could sense how frightened she was...she was probably about a s scared as he had been at first, though her fear seemed to be going down a bit where as his was only rising. Hikari knew what was happening to him...he knew that much. Whatever it was, had to do with the moon. When LaRae finally came near him, he cracked his eyes open for a moment and looked up at her, though he didn't look too thrilled to see her there. Though she was trying to mask what she was feeling, he could still tell how apprehensive she was...though it wasn't his visible eyes that were seeing that. His eyes started to water a little more before he closed them again while Hikari was talking to her and looked away. "....Don't...look at me..." he said quietly. He didn't want her to see him like this...whatever this was.

Nero finally opted to go sit down, rather than stand there since nothing was really happening right now that needed his attention. He turned and started back a little towards the wall between a set of the arches and sat down, leaning his back against the wall. He brought one knee up and then draped his arm across it. He had seen Aamori when she started into the courtyard, but of course he ignored her. He probably could have even done away with that confused look on her face by explaining a little as to what was going on but he didn't feel like opening his mouth and he wasn't exactly sure what was going on with Nanashi. He continued to just sit on the ground, keeping an eye on those orbs of his. The last thing he needed was for those to stop working properly, he'd never hear the end of it if they let Nanashi have his mobility back. So long as he was keeping an eye on them he didn't think there would be any problems but like most things they didn't last forever, and he'd likely have to make more if Nanashi still had to be restrained.

Kyran sat there for a few moments after Hikari responded to what he had said. He glanced back down at Celestine and then decided to get on his feet again. He didn't want to just sit there when he could be doing something. Once he was on his feet he looked back over towards Hikari and the others before he turned and started back out into the hall. He walked over to the door that had the medical placard on it and knocked lightly before setting his hand down on the knob. At least the knob was cold, that felt a little better on his palm. He opened the door and slipped inside. He wanted to get some stuff to clean up the slashes on Celestine's face and clean the blood from his hands. He also thought he might see if someone from medical was even here, they might be able to help with something, be it the burns on their hands or the gashes that Hikari received. He was inside for a few minutes before he came back out with a few things in his hands. He headed right back over to Celestine and knelt down while he set the things in his hands down. He'd come back with a couple soft cloths, a small bottle of peroxide and another bottle with plain water in it. After he had set everything down he went ahead and sat down himself.

LaRae gave a weak nod when Hikari told her not to touch his scales or those orbs. She may not have looked like it but she had heard Nero's warning before and she had gathered that she shouldn't touch those scales. After all, Hikari had burned hands which was proof enough that they shouldn't be touched. She did feel a little bad for not doing anything to help when Hikari had called out for it. She wanted to help but she couldn't get herself to do anything and she hated to admit to anyone that she was too frightened to move. She felt a little silly now that she was thinking about it. He was still himself after all and she wasn't afraid of him, it was just the changes in his appearance that got to her. She was at least trying to put the fear behind her. It had snuck up and taken a firm hold of her. She had calmed down considerably now and could look at him a little easier. She had barely looked at him since she knelt down, until she heard him say 'don't look at me'. Of course after hearing that she looked down at him. After a moment she started to reach over with her hand then she paused and pulled started to pull it back, only to start reaching out again a moment later until she finally set her hand gently to his cheek. "...What if I don't listen to you?" She asked quietly. It was getting easier to look at him without feeling frightened, she just continued to tell herself that he was still the same under everything that had changed.

Aamori continued to stand where she was just looking around a little every now and again. She was a little surprised that it seemed she'd gone unnoticed. Well maybe not really surprised, it looked like a lot had gone on while she was sleeping and everyone was just too concerned with other things to notice her. She gave a small sigh after rubbing her eye again gently. She was starting to wake up a bit more now. She took a couple steps closer, moving over near Hikari this time. She'd seen her arm when she took her sleeve off and was concerned since it was bleeding like it was. "...Are you going to be okay, Hikari?" She asked quietly. Then her attention shifted slightly when Kyran got up and left the courtyard. It wasn't until he came back to the courtyard minutes later with stuff in his hands and sat back down next to Celestine that she worried a little. She honestly hadn't thought too much about what was wrong with Celestine since she'd laid eyes on Nanashi and then she'd also seen how badly Hikari was bleeding. She wanted to go over and check on him but she was going to wait and see how Hikari was first before she went to go check on him.

Kyran had also managed to talk the nurse inside medical to come out to take a look at Hikari. Unfortunately the actual doctor had already gone home. That guy had such lax hours compared to the nurse. So she was the only one available. There wasn't anything to worried about though, she was just as knowledgeable and well trained as the doctor himself she just wasn't allowed to do anything too complicated. The only thing that might make any of this difficult was how skittish the poor girl was and she liable to jump out of her skin at the sight of Nanashi especially with the way he was right now. She had started out of the room a little after she'd given Kyran the things he'd asked for. She had been told briefly what needed to be looked at so she made a point to grab everything she thought she'd need before hand. She stepped out of the room with a small basket full of supplies and started to make her way out to the courtyard. She was already nervous just because Kyran had come into the medical office, then that nervousness was only made worse when he told her about Hikari's arm. She'd never really been around dragons from other clans, let alone treated them. She took a deep breath just before she passed through an arch. If anything, finding Hikari wasn't hard, she stuck out like a sore thumb around everyone else. She rather timidly started approaching her once she spotted her. As she neared closer she fumbled a bit and nearly dropped her basket at the sight of the thing that looked stuck to the ground. She was pretty certain what clan it was from and that only made her more uneasy. She had come to a stop a couple feet behind Hikari and then pried her eyes away from that thing. "...U-um ...I-I was a-asked to t-take a look at y-your arm..." She scrambled to say.

Hikari nearly startled when Aamori walked over to her, but she looked up at her and smiled weakly. "...It's alright, Aamori, don't worry about it." she said softly, "It's not as bad as it looks." She glanced up when she noticed Kyran moving toward the hallway and then sighed softly and lowered her eyes back to Nanashi. At least she wasn't upset over the scratches, she knew that she'd just taken a blow meant for himself, though she couldn't say that it didn't hurt and stung like a giant cat scratch. She glanced back to Aamori in time to see her looking at Celestine, "Go on." she said softly, giving her a little nudge with her shoulder. She looked up again when she heard the nurse come over to her and sighed. She really wished that Kyran hadn't asked the woman to come out here, not with Nanashi like he was. The water clan already wasn't find of the fire clan, so she could only imagine what the poor woman was thinking seeing this. When she finally spoke to her she sighed softly, hearing the way that she stuttered. "...Alright." she said as she held out her arm. Blood was running around her arm and dripping to the ground beneath her, but she hardly seemed bothered by it. She was just trying to keep from getting any on her clothes if at all possible. He smiled warmly at the nurse, trying to reassure her a little. "...Don't be nervous." she said calmly. she might have been more convincing if her own hands weren't shaking a bit.

Nanashi kept his eyes closed and tried to ignore everyone, though it was hard to do. He flinched when LaRae touched him and finally looked back to her again, opening his tear filled eyes again. Even though his eyes had changed, they were still just as full of expression as usual. He was in pain, that much was obvious, but he was also frightened and hurt by some of the things he had picked up on. He had caught onto Nero thinking of him as a 'thing' and then when the nurse came he got the same thought from her. Looking down at him it was probably hard to tell whether he wanted to latch onto her and start sobbing or run away and never be seen again. He finally opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something but then just closed it again and shook his head a little before he closed his eyes again and again started sobbing, though this time much more quietly then before.

Nero had tilted his head down and started to just relax a little since nothing else was going on right now. He'd even shut his eyes and let his hair hide his face like usual. Since he wasn't currently paying attention he hadn't noticed that the orbs that he'd made had shrunk a little thus leading to them also weakening a bit. They were running out steam for lack of better words and having so many out at once shortened the life span of the orbs. So the more that were out, the less amount of time they'd be around. Here pretty soon they'd start shrinking even more until they just disappeared all together.

Kyran glanced back towards Hikari when he heard the nurse. Her stuttering was certainly unmistakable. He shook his head lightly. That girl was a nervous wreck; She'd nearly had a heart attack just from him entering the medical office earlier. He shifted his attention when he noticed Aamori was starting to come over. He only looked at her for a moment and then turned his eyes back down to the stuff he'd brought with him. He picked up the bottle of water, unscrewing the cap then he grabbed one of the cloths. He drenched the cloth and then lifted up one of Celestine's hands and started to clean the blood from it; Being gentle even though Celestine was unconscious.

Aamori didn't stand there much longer after Hikari nudged her and told her to go. She really did want to check on Celestine even though she didn't think the wound Hikari had was nothing to worry about. She did feel better about ditching Hikari though once the nurse had showed up to take a look at her. She walked over towards Kyran and then started to kneel down on the opposite side of Celestine. She looked down at Celestine's face and started to reach out to touch his cheek where he had the three slashes but stopped just as she was about to touch his face and pulled her hand back. She thought about it briefly and she really didn't want to touch his cheek with her bare hand and wind up having a fit because there was blood on it. She set her hand in her lap and then looked over at what Kyran was doing. She watched until he had cleaned all the blood off of Celestine's hand and gave a small sigh after seeing how red his hand still was. She looked up at Kyran with a slight worry to her expression. "...Is he alright?" She asked quietly. It looked pretty bad having come into all of this with no idea what had happened.

Kyran lifted his eyes for a moment when Aamori came over and knelt down. He focused back on cleaning off Celestine's hand. Once he had wiped it clean he set the cloth down on his leg and reached for the bottle of water, pouring a little over his hand before picking up another of the soft cloths and using it to dab lightly at his hand until it was dry for the most part. He looked up again when he heard Aamori's question and gave a slight nod. "He should be fine once he regains consciousness." He told her. "He just got hit pretty hard in the head while he was trying to help us restrain Nanashi." He explained as he set down the dry cloth and started to pick up the peroxide and the remaining cloth. He handed them over to Aamori since it looked like she wanted to do something rather than just sit there. "You're capable of cleaning out those slashes, right?"

LaRae hadn't moved her hand away from his cheek just yet and since it was there she wasn't so sure she really felt like moving it. She was a bit relieved to see him look at her with his eyes full of expression like they usually were; Had they been devoid of that she might have worried even more then she already was. She continued to look down at him, noticing when he looked like he wanted to say something but didn't and gave a small sigh. Her ears fell back again when she heard him start crying again. She didn't like to see him cry but how could you tell someone who was going through what he was going through, not to cry? She continued to sit there with her hand still pressed to his cheek, after a moment she started to lightly rub her thumb across his cheekbone.

The nurse had continued to stand there latched onto her basket at least until Hikari had said alright and held out her arm and then told her not to be nervous. "I-I'm always l-like t-this..." She uttered quietly, sounding almost embarrassed. She probably would've been too scared to approach Hikari since she was sitting so close to that thing but after catching sight of the blood dripping down from Hikari's arm she scurried over and knelt down, setting the basket down beside her. If anything, in a time of need she could manage to get over her skittishness. At least for a brief period of time. She didn't even bother looking over at the thing on the ground, rather she rushed right into inspecting Hikari's arm. She reached out to take her arm just above the elbow and then at the wrist with her other hand and looked over the gashes in her arm. "...W-what h-happened?" She asked while releasing Hikari's arm long enough to pull a bottle from her basket along with a cloth the size of a hand towel. She set the cloth down in her lap and started unscrewing the cap from the bottle, glancing up for a moment to look at Hikari while she prepared to pour the contents of the bottle. She offered a slight smile. "B-by the way..." She paused. "M-my n-names Vara." She told her as she pouring the peroxide over the gashes to clean them out and wash away the blood. She'd given Hikari her name as she was pouring the peroxide in hopes that it would've taken her mind off what she was doing. That could usually distract some people from thinking too much about how what she was going to do was going to feel. If it didn't work on Hikari, oh well, at least she had tried. She continued to pour the peroxide over the gashes until the wounds were clean and then she set the bottle down and picked up the cloth from her lap. She quickly started dabbing the cloth at her arm to try and dry it off a bit so that she could continue further. "I-I a-apologize if a-any of this h-hurts."

In spite of not being able to move, Celestine was obviously still aware of when something hurt as his fingers jerked involuntarily when Kyran touched them. Otherwise he still didn't show many other signs of knowing what was going on now. He didn't seem to know that Aamori was sitting beside him nor that he was laying int he grass, though he was probably going to have a grew grunts and faces to make when they started messing with his face. He wasn't too crazy about having his face messed with anyway, especially not while it was sore, and those cuts hurt.

Nanashi finally leaned his face against her hand lightly once she started to stroke his cheek with her thumb. He couldn't make the tears stop flowing from his eyes nor could he stop himself from sobbing. LaRae's hand felt cool against his face, which was slightly comforting at the moment. Even though he was trying his best to calm down and relax, the burning in his skin was by no means getting any more tolerable. His clawed fingers were still curling and uncurling as if he wanted to be tearing at something as were his feet, and his tail was thrashing against the ground uncomfortably. It was just too hard to lay still while he felt like he was burning. He was trying his best to keep his face turned away from the nurse and more toward LaRae. His poor clothes had already had it as well. The bottom of his pants were torn to shreds from about his knees on and covered in blood. The change in his ribs had caused his already ripped and tight shirt to rip even further down the front so that it was almost to the middle of his stomach, not to mention the several holes running down the back of the shirt and into the top half of his pants before the hole meant for his tail. His gloves were nothing more than shreds of bloody cloth on the ground by now after he'd finished tearing at his arms, those poor things didn't have a snowball's chance in hell at surviving. At least his coat and shoes had survives since he was nowhere near them, though his coat was already about half dead anyway.

Hikari just smiled warmly at the nurse and then shook her head slightly when she asked what happened. "He's hurting...he was trying to claw himself and accidentally caught me while I was trying to hold his arm down." she said quietly. She turned her eyes down to the bottle as she started to unscrew the cap, keeping her attention on what the nurse was doing with mild interest, though her gaze did continue to flicker over to Nanashi occasionally. She looked back to the nurse when she gave her name and smiled, "Hikari." she response quietly. She gasped quietly when the peroxide was poured over her arm, mainly because it was cold. She had a pretty high tolerance for pain, so this sort of thing didn't really bother her much. It wasn't until she started to dab at her arm with the dry cloth that she gasped quietly, though she smiled again at Vara when she apologized. "It's alright. These thing usually, so, it can't be helped." she said calmly, "It just stings a little." She worked with enough people to know that it was hard to manage anything if the person was freaking out and complaining, so she was sitting still and letting her do what she needed to do.
