"Mmm..." He nodded slightly, glancing off to the side. "...Aamori told me that you wouldn't go peacefully..." he said softly. "I've had a few broken bones before, it's best if you don't try to move them... and she said that you would try to use them before they were healed..." He glanced back, smiling weakly. "...I'm glad you aren't mad anymore..." he said softly. He peeked over her shoulder at her busted knuckle and shook his head, reaching around her slowly to take her hand and rub the back of it with his thumb. He half smiled and just wrapped both arms around her, careful not to press her wing too tightly against him. "Are you still cold? You were shaking earlier..." he said softly. It was still a bit nippy out here, and he'd left his jacked back where he'd been laying, but his body was still fairly warm.

LaRae's cheeks turned bright red when he wrapped his arms around her. She wasn't expecting that and had nearly forgotten about how cold she was until he mentioned it again. She was quite tense sitting there with him trying to help keep her warm. "...Y-yes... I'm still cold..." She mumbled as she began to fidget with her hands. She sighed softly going back to what he had said before he came so close to her. "...Aamori was right, unfortunately. I wouldn't have willingly sat still long enough for her to do that to my wings" She paused, her ears lowered. "I hate to say it, but I kind of have a fear of bindings; Especially when it comes to my wings..." She exhaled slowly bringing her eyes up from her hands. "Aamori knows this, that is why I was angry. More so to hear she recruited you to help her..."

Nanashi nodded slightly. "...I see... I don't like it either... I like knowing that i can move quickly without being all tied up but... this is really for the best." he said softly. He rubbed her arms gently with his hands and leaned his head forward a little to look at her. "...If you need to fly...you can borrow my wings." he told her. She was light enough that he could carry her with out much of a problem, Sure it wasn't the same thing, but it was the best that he could offer. "I'll do my best, okay? ... just keep them on for a while... at least until you're healed, alright?" He chuckled quietly, almost surprising himself, "Then you can beat me up with them later if you want." He said playfully. He was...80% sure that she wouldn't take him up on that offer, but even if she did it couldn't hurt as bad as some things.

LaRae sighed "I know it's for the best, but try saying that to my fear..." She mumbled slightly. She was surprised she'd told him about that fear of hers. It was bad enough Aamori knew about it but now Nanashi knew about it too. She couldn't help thinking to herself 'What type of dragon has such silly fears?'. To her it was any type of binding, not necessarily only the wings. She was a little taken back by his offer of his wings until hers were completely healed. She smiled slightly tilting her head down towards the ground. Her hair fell into her face, giving her a shield. "...Thanks for the offer, as nice as it sounds I could never ask someone else to carry me... Regardless of the situation" She paused, smiling a bit more. "...Though the thought of beating you later does sound tantalizing..." She lifted her hand up to the wraps around the front of her body and started to pick at them absentmindedly.

Nanashi swallowed and then laughed nervously, "Well...if it makes you feel better..." he said simply. He wasn't the type to go back on his word, even if he said it playfully. He looked down when he caught her picking at the wraps again and shook his head, placing his hand over hers. "Stop..." he said softly. "...and you know, you wouldn't have to ask. If I think I need to I'll probably do it before I even really think about it." He smiled weakly, "...You know...even still, it doesn't hurt to ask for help... not for you at least." he said softly. Usually when he asked someone for help he was met with laughs or more injury...or was just completely ignored. He was actually surprised that Kyran came to help LaRae when he told him what was wrong at the festival. That was a near first.

LaRae looked down at her hand seeing his over top of hers; Seeing this only made her blush more. She was thankful for her hair at this point, it blocked her face from view. She had not even realised what she was doing that made him do that; It took a moment or two before she thought she must have been picking at her bindings. Listening to him speak, it was starting to sound like she'd have no choice in the matter of flight as long as she couldn't use her own wings. She sighed softly. She hated the idea of having to rely on someone else; It only made the word 'weak' echo in her thoughts. Her clan would be even more ashamed of her if they could see her now. Not to mention she'd be shunned for the feelings she was slowly starting to develop. She lifted her head slightly and stared at the ground in front of her. "...Asking for help is frowned upon..." She paused, of course referring to her Clan. "...If you can't do it yourself, then you're weak... And you know where that leads, eventually"

Nanashi sighed softly and nodded, though that reminder only made him pull her a little closer as if he thought that would save her. "...I know..." he said gently before moving one hand to her face. He could feel the warmth there, but he wasn't paying enough attention to realize that she was blushing. He put just enough pressure on her face to make her turn her head, trying to get her to look at him. "I know..." he said again softly, "...Forget about them... You aren't with them now, they can't see you..." he said gently, "They've already decided what to they want to do with you... so to hell with their ridiculous ethics..." He shook his head slightly and leaned his forehead against hers lightly, "...You have already given up, haven't you?... That's why you don't want me to get close to you... So if you are going to give up on life then give up on them, too... They don't matter anymore." He gently pushed her hair back a little, still gazing down at her with those lovely ruby eyes of his. He still held that concerned and sad expression that he almost always seemed to have when he looked at her while she was like this. "...Live for yourself while you can... That's...all you can do."

LaRae by now had started to loosen up and be less tense then when he first wrapped his arms around her. She absently nuzzled his hand softly when he put it to her face. When he moved her head to face him, her eyes dropped immediately. After what she had brought up she was ashamed to look him in the eyes. It took everything she had to keep her eyes planted down when he pressed his forehead to hers; She started to look up at him, but caught herself and lowered her eyes. Hearing him ask her about giving up only made her eyes widen; Was it that obvious? She sighed lightly understanding now that he had pieced everything together already. "..." She was going to say something but stopped when he moved her hair back; She felt so exposed. She nervously had gone back to fidgeting with her hands while they sat in her lap. "I have accepted my fate" She mumbled, it sounded nicer that way; Giving up just made it sound worse then she thought it actually was. Though this whole little speech of his he made everything sound so simple, so easy, and nearly obtainable. Just give up on her Clan and live life? That sounded so much easier then it was. By now she had started to run her index finger around the broken skin on her knuckle. "It's not that easy when you've spent you're whole life trying to fit in... anywhere..." She sighed again alluding to the fact that she was an orphan so she never did fit in, not even in her adopted family who chose her. "It's not that easy to drop an addictive habit... If it was... I would have done so by now" She continued to mumble nearly everything she said. She stopped now, questioning why she was even telling him any of this. It was so depressing; Why would anyone want to hear bits and pieces of her life story? Her ears were still low, if it was possible they'd be so low they were laying on the ground.

Nanashi sighed softly, listening to her. His ears laid back slightly and he gazed down at her with understanding eyes. Sadly...she reminded him so much of himself that it was pitiful. "...You can look at me." he said softly, stroking her cheek. "...I know... You may think I have no idea what I am talking about...but I do." he said softly. "...What do you think that I have been doing my entire life? I have never belonged anywhere or with anyone... The only person that I ever did belong with..." He trailed off for a moment. She could get the idea... His mother was long dead and had been ever since he was barely old enough to remember her face. The people that he'd lived with didn't want him, but felt obligated to take him in simply because they were his only relations and treated him more like a dog than a child. He didn't want to start talking too much about his life and trying to compare it to hers, they were very different even with all the similarities. She shouldn't care, anyway, she had her own problems to worry with. "...The point is... I tried... I tried, and I tried, and I tried, but it never mattered...it still doesn't matter what I do, where I go, things are always the same... so I stopped trying to please everyone...now I just try to stay out of trouble." he shook his head, "...I know i don't know everything...every little detail, but... I do understand..." he said quietly. "I still flinch whenever someone grabs me, or raises their hand to me, and I don't like being around people... it is a habit that's hard to break, but even still...well, I let you hug me before, didn't I?" he smiled weakly at her, "...I just... I don't want to see you like this the entire way... I like it when you can smile and enjoy yourself... you always worry so much about what your clan would think when they aren't even here to think anything of what you do." He leaned his head against her again, "...When I am alone... I am more...like this. I can relax and not worry about what people thing or where the next rock is going to come flying from. ...Can't you do the same?" he asked softly.

LaRae didn't know that much about Nanashi's life and how he grew up, she dare not compare it to her own. The only thing she knew that was the largest difference in their lives was the fact that she had a Clan to belong to, if and only if she could learn how to harness her complete power. Since she couldn't and every time she was forced to use it, she couldn't control herself she was considered weak which meant she was going to be weeded out in due time. She sighed heavily trying to focus more on her her knuckles but couldn't help looking up at him briefly when he said it was okay. Her eyes locked onto his for a moment before they darted off to the side, looking away again. It was so weird hearing him say that he understood, no one even among her own clan had ever said that to her. It was kind of nice. "There are a couple earmarks in my Clan that tag people as weak... One being, the child or person is an orphan and has no one to care for them anymore. Two, the person can't control their natural power completely. Then the third being that the person is just a weakling all the way around." She paused absentmindedly lifting her hand again to the wraps around her front, picking at them again. "I'm two of those three... if not all of them" She muttered in spite. She felt bad telling him any of this, more so because she was going to continue. She'd never told anyone this before, not even Aamori knew all of this. "I am the last living member of my branch in the clan... I was adopted at a young age, by one of the Clan Elders families." She paused hesitant to continue further. "...You can imagine what life was like from then on, I'm sure. It's difficult to try and prove your worth to a branch that has bred the best of the best since the beginning of the Clan... I'm not even supposed to know about their 'weeding' process. So the fact that I did, and have since I was a little younger then I am now only made everything harder on me" She sighed heavily pausing for a moment having nearly choked on her own words. "I was never really abused physically or anything, not by my own Clan... but the verbal and emotional abuse tends to leave much deeper scares then any physical damage ever could" She started to shift her eyes every once in awhile to look at him again, then they'd dart off again. "And you'd think the Clan would leave me alone once I was out of the territory wouldn't you?" She smirked slightly. "To the contrary... They send a messenger to check on you from time to time... The Elders are overly protective, specially with people who know secrets. So... In short, I can't relax like you... I have to have my guard up at all times" She finally just shut her eyes as she kept talking. "I can't say whether or not I'll be down like this the whole way... There might be days where I'm like this, and days when I'm not... I'll always be worrying, about something..."

Nanashi remained silent as she spoke, listening to every word that she said intently. He nuzzled her a little when she said that she was at least two of those three earmarks...he could guess which ones they were. He honestly didn't see how not having someone to care for you would make you weak...honestly he thought that should make you stronger in their eyes since they were so against relying on others. He tried to wrap his mind around everything, but all that he could think was that her clan elders were nothing but egotistical barbarians hiding behind a dignified title. He sighed softly when she mentioned messengers... was that protection or paranoia? After she'd finished talking he still remained silent for a moment. "...I see." he whispered. He didn't understand... but he knew better than to try to understand the twisted mind of someone who would have someone killed just because they were not up to their standards. He gathered enough to know that he probably would have been killed at birth if he had been born to that clan. He sighed again and just held her closer to him. He didn't know what more he could say, nothing he said seemed to worked out. He wished that he could do or say something to help her, he really did, but... he was out of ideas. "..It is ridiculous...and ignorant..." he muttered under his breath, "...All of it...there is no way to judge the worth of a person..." he closed his eyes and rested his head against her. "...You are worth everything to me..." he said softly. Something else struck him then. If there were going to be people checking up on her, it couldn't look good for her to be this close to someone like him. More than just her clan would look down on that. Maybe that was why she hadn't wanted him to get close to her. She needed to try to preserve her image so she could hopefully prove herself before it was too late. He opened his eyes again, but didn't look at her. "...I'm sorry..." he whispered as he let his grip loosen and then fall away. "It's late... you should really try to rest, LaRae. I'll get my coat, you can use it tonight if you want."

LaRae's eye's shot open when she felt him slowly start to let go of her. The first thing that came to mind was that she must have said something wrong. She sighed softly and brought her knees up to her chest and hunched over them wrapping her arms around her legs interlacing her fingers. She lowered her head and practically buried it in her knees. All this time he had sat and listened to every single depressing word she had to say and she had no clue what she said that made him let go of her. She shut her eyes, her tail then wrapped itself around her once and dropped itself on top of her feet. She had been warm, and comfortable in his arms and now she was getting cold again. She was starting to regret saying anything to him, even if she got a brief moment of comfort. Enough that she had forgotten about her wings and the slight pain she still felt in her leg. Now it was all coming back to her, flooding into her memory. She just wished she could figure out what she said that made him let her go, she wished she had not said it. She slowly lifted her head from her knees for a moment, only long enough to say something. "...Don't worry about me... I won't need your coat." She then buried her head again angry at herself for opening her mouth in the first place. She wished now that she had just ignored him and cut the bindings off her wings and then fallen asleep. It sure would've saved her opening up to him only to end up feeling pushed away.

Nanashi watched her curl into herself as he stood and wondered what was wrong. He knew she wasn't that cold. Did she not want him to let go of her? He shook his head and turned to walk away, pausing when he got to his coat only long enough to pick it up and walk back over to her. He stood there for a moment in silence, looking around. They were all alone at the moment, aside from the others in the group, there was nowhere for anyone else to be that they couldn't see them. He looked back down to LaRae again and draped his coat over her shoulders anyway before sitting close to her again and putting one arm around her again. He couldn't get both around her for the way that she was sitting. He leaned his head over on her shoulder and yawned quietly. One more night of this couldn't hurt much... He just didn't want to make being close to her a habit, or obsession... as had been stated, both could be hard to break.

LaRae's ears perked up when she heard him start to walk away, then they dropped again instantly. She sighed softly then her ears twitched a couple times hearing someone walk back to her and then stop. She didn't bother lifting her head to see who it was. Though she knew who it was as soon as she felt the coat draped around her. She started to lift her head to say something about not needing the coat but was cut off when he sat down next to her again, then rested his head on her shoulder. For lack of better words she was happy that he came back, it made her feel better. He wouldn't be able to tell because she was still hiding her face but she was smiling now. Even if he was cold as ice, like someone else she knew; She'd still have wanted him close to her even if it was for a short time. She too yawned, but lifted her head and a hand to cover her mouth quickly. She was starting to get tired now, and the yawning Nanashi started didn't help matters. She had wanted to thank him for holding her again, even if only with one arm but was having trouble finding the words and making them come out. Instead she merely blushed.

Nanashi chuckled softly when LaRae raised her head to yawn. "Sorry..." He said again. He pulled her a little closer and smiled weakly, "Go on to sleep..." He said gently, "I will stay here.... if you want." he said softly. He shifted positions slightly, wrapping his tail around his drawn up legs. A light breeze picked up and blew through his apple red hair, tossing his bangs about his face and sending a shiver through him when it hit his bare arms and thin shirt. He closed his eyes for a moment and tried to ignore the chill. He was fine until he wind picked up, and then he felt like he was being slapped with ice sickles. He didn't complain, though, or try to take back his coat. That wouldn't do him too much good anyway since the arm that was ripped off was the one facing the wind. He just shifted positions again and tried to curl in on himself a little while still keeping his arm around LaRae.

LaRae smiled softly hearing him say he would stay; Though her smile quickly faded when she felt him shiver. The wind had picked up and here he had given his only source of warmth to her. She sighed very softly and went to move. "I'll be back in a second..." She mumbled moving herself away from him and onto her knees. She crawled over to the other side of him, where the wind was hitting him and set her hands flat on the ground. She didn't have very much energy built back up but she wouldn't need too much. Her hands began to glow a soft green hue; Moments later the ground in front of her mere inches away opened up slightly and tree roots sprouted forth from the ground forming a curved shield from the wind. The roots had bound so tightly together that the wind couldn't get through; They'd also give protection from the sun when morning finally came. She lifted her hands from the ground and smiled again softly. "There... Now you can be warm too" She stated growing a bit more tired from using her magic. She didn't have to use very much, she merely forced a few roots from the root ladder she made in the cavern to move here and protect them. She dropped a hand back down to the ground to hold herself up, she probably shouldn't have used her magic yet but she couldn't resist.

Nanashi blinked when she said that she would be right back and raised his head as he felt her moving away from him. He watched her crawl around him, unsure of that she was doing until he saw the glow around her hands. "LaRae..." he started, but before he could tell her to stop she'd already made the roots grow. He smiled weakly when she said that he could be warm, too, but it faced when she had to brace herself wit her arms. He moved a bit and wrapped his around her again, both of them this time. He almost felt back for shivering and letting on that he was cold, even though it was an involuntary reaction and he really couldn't help it. "...Thank you." he said quietly as he nuzzled against her hair a bit. "...but you shouldn't be using your magic... It's too early. ...I would have been alright..."

LaRae knew better then to use her magic like she did; She could tell she didn't have enough and it would only weaken her. She couldn't help it though, she couldn't sit there warm while he was cold. It wasn't fair in any way. She smiled warmly when he wrapped both arms around her again. She would've had something smart to say back to him about her use of magic, except she'd leaned into him and fallen asleep before she heard anything else he had to say after the words 'Thank you'. As she suspected, using what little magic she had made her too tired to keep herself awake.

Nanashi blinked when she didn't respond to him, but it took him a moment to realize that she'd fallen asleep on him already. He sighed softly and shifted positions so that he was leaned up against the wall of roots and moved her so that she was resting against his chest. He stared down at her for a few moments, gently stroking her hair for a moment before just wrapping his arms back around her again and leaning his head forward to rest on top of hers. He still had a little trouble getting to sleep, even though he was comfortable and fairly warm...but eventually, he did manage to slip into that state, at least part of the way. It wouldn't take a lot to wake him again, as it rarely did when he wasn't burrowed into a bed.

LaRae wouldn't be easily woken; Her body knew that she desperately needed to sleep in order to regain some of her energy. She went into an extremely deep sleep; Very similar to hibernation as she slowly started to regain some of her energy. One side effect as she would call it when she slept so deeply was that she would randomly sleep talk while she was dreaming. The words didn't always make sense and she could never remember anything that she said or dreamt while in deep sleep mode. Part way through the night she absently nuzzled into Nanashi. Soon after she started to her sleep talking. "...Don't leave me..." There was a long pause before she spoke again. "P-please... Nanashi..." One could only imagine what she was dreaming about; It's a shame she won't remember come morning. "I-I think I" There was another long pause. It must have started to get annoying, she'd say something and then stop and you would have to wait to hear more. Much like those annoying commercials in the middle of your favorite shows, right when they start to get good. She moved her hand, in her sleep and grabbed hold of Nanashi lightly. "I might l-love you..." Moments later her hand would let go of him and she would go back to sleeping. There wouldn't be any other words said while she slept, she got comfortable and rested. She'd stay that way until someone woke her.

Nanashi shifted slightly when he felt LaRae nuzzle him and he opened his eyes slightly for a moment, though he closed them again shortly. About the time that he closed his eyes his ears twitched at the sound of LaRae's voice. He blinked and opened his eyes again, looking down at her. "Huh?..." he muttered quietly. He shifted his arms slightly, putting them back around her more firmly since they had slipped down a bit. He tilted his head slightly, looking at her tiredly, and then just shook his head slightly as he closed his eyes again.
'P-please... Nanashi...'
He opened his eyes again and looked back down to her. "...What?" he said gently, shifting his arms again and holding her a little closer. "...I'm right here..." he said softly, "I'm not going anywhere..." He raised one hand, gently stroking her hair, trying to get her to relax a bit. After a bit he started to try to go back to sleep, but again she pulled him out of it, this time by grabbing his shirt. He started at her for a moment and then leaned his head back again, starting to close his eyes again.
"I might l-love you..."
That got his attention. His eyes snapped open again and he completely froze for a moment. Did she just say that? He slowly turned his eyes back down to her again and locked on the top of her head. After a few moments he leaned his head back against the wood again and stared out over the baron land blankly. He felt her hand release his shirt and he sat there, waiting forever to see if she was going to say anything else. He wanted to hear her repeat herself, just to make sure that he'd heard right. After a good fifteen minutes, he decided that she must be done. He shook his head and closed his eyes again with a soft sigh. She was sleeping, she had no idea what she was saying. She could have been talking to anyone or about anything. Just because she said his name once before didn't mean anything... did it?
He shook his head and tried to just go back to sleep, though by then, he wasn't all that tired anymore. It was near morning anyway, in another hour or two the sun would be coming. It was pretty safe to say that he was going to be the first one up today.

As the sun finally started to peak out over the horizon Kyran started to wake up. He usually woke up as soon as the sun did, so getting up in the morning wasn't difficult for him. He slowly sat up, hunching over his own legs. He yawned softly raising a hand to his eyes to rub the sleep from them. He then looked around a bit, checking on everyone. He quirked a brow when he glanced over towards Nanashi and LaRae; He wasn't exactly sure what he saw but it looked like some sort of root-mini-fort. Clearly LaRae had used magic again. After everything that had gone on yesterday he shook his head wondering if he could find a spell to bind her magic for a short period of time. At the rate she was going, she'd never get her energy back fully and what would they do if they actually needed her for something? He sighed shifting his eyes over to Nero briefly. The guy seemed to never move. He was still on his side, holding his head up with his hand and his tail draped over his legs. Did he always sleep that way?
Kyran finally stood up and stretched, then started to dist himself off a little. He spotted Aamori and it looked like she had a rough sleep. He remembered her sitting up, trying to sleep and now she was sprawled out on the ground with her hair a mess and tail positioned perfectly to cover her bottom half. He shook his head laughing very softly. He thought he'd give them all a little while longer to sleep before making anyone get up. Also, they had not eaten since they started the trip so the more sleep the better he figured. They would have to stop in a town very soon; If he remembered correctly there was a town near the eastern forest. He'd try and stop there.

Nanashi was still just sitting there. When the sun rose he looked around for a moment, his ears twitching as he heard Kyran moving around. He looked over at him and sighed softly before looking back down to LaRae. He didn't want to wake her, she he didn't move.
Celestine was still curled up beside Hikari with the eagle perched on his leg, though as soon as the sun reached her head Lani raised it from under her wing and looked around, ruffling her feathers before starting to groom herself. A few moments later she flapped her wings and took off.
Celestine groaned and opened his eyes after the bird's wing smacked him in the face. "...Lani..." He muttered, closing his eye again. He nuzzled into Hikari a bit and then opened his eyes again and blinked. Slowly his eyes wandered to the side and he stared at her for a moment before sitting up rather quickly. He cringed a little since the motion hurt his side, but he wasn't quite as sore as he'd been before.
Hikari's head just fell over onto Celestine's shoulder when he moved and she muttered something before shifting positions. She shirt caused her to slide off of his shoulder and into his lap, but she was so tired that she didn't even wake up. She just rolled over and latched onto the boy's scrawny waist.
Celestine stared down at her for a moment and then shifted positions. he looked like he wanted to shove her off, but he didn't. He just sat still and sighed, glaring off toward the distance.

Kyran happened to look down at Celestine just in time to see Hikari fall into his lap. He chuckled lightly seeing her cling to him much the same way she had himself. He shook his head softly and started to move away from them; headed north a bit and then stopped looking out over the horizon. They didn't have too much further to go before they made it to heir destination, it was a shame they weren't able to make it there last night. He heard a slightly growling noise and his ears twitched as he wondered where that came from. He heard it again and then looked down, realizing his stomach was having a fit about not eating. He gently rested his hand over his stomach and sighed. "We'll need to get going soon..." He mumbled to no one in particular.
Aamori had rolled over onto her side and hit a small rock that poked into her leg. Her eyes shot open and she sat up, rubbing her leg softly. "Owwie..." She looked at her leg noticing it wasn't anything bad she'd merely rolled onto the rock and wasn't hurt or anything. She looked around checking to see who all was awake; Spotting Kyran being the only moving. She climbed to her feet and wandered over to him after pulling her skirt down a little. She stopped next to him and looked up for a second before looking out over the horizon like he was. "So... Are we close?" She asked fighting back a yawn.
Kyran looked down at Aamori when she walked over, shifting his glance back to the ground in front of him. "Yeah, we're really close" He stated, then started to think about how he was going to find this relic. He wished he knew what he was looking for.
LaRae shifted slightly nuzzling into Nanashi again. She was still asleep, though by now she'd slipped out of her deep sleep and could be woken a bit easier now. Her tail flicked lightly once, before laying back down next to her. She was starting to wake up on her own, but at the same time was trying to keep herself asleep. She didn't want to wake up and have to move around; She was quite content the way she was right now.

Celestine looked up when he realized that Kyran was up and moving around. He hadn't really been paying attention before. He sighed softly and looked down at the shimmering dragon in his lap and shook his head. When the sun hit her hair and scales just right it almost hurt his eyes. He put his hand on the side of her face and patted the side of her head lightly.
Hikari shifted positions slightly and then opened her eyes. "Mmm?..." she blinked and then looked up at Celestine, blushing slightly. "Oh not again!" She sat up quickly, straightening her hair and smiled weakly. "Sorry, Celestine."
"Don't worry about it..." he said simply as he got to his feet and dusted himself off, trying to ignore the throbbing pain in his side and the dull ache in his head. "...Hope you were comfortable. I do not commonly make a good pillow." He was too thin and bony to make a good cushion.
Hikari smiled weakly as she stood up. "Yes...I hope you were, too." she said simply. She blinked when she looked down at her leg and realized that it didn't hurt anymore. It shouldn't have healed quite that quickly, should it? She belt her knee a bit and then put it down again and tilted her head. "...That's odd..."
Nanashi looked down at LaRae again when she started moving around a bit more. "...LaRae?" he asked softly, running his hand over her hair gently to see if she was awake yet. He hoped she wouldn't be as hard to wake up as she'd been the day before.
