Kanone smiled when Marius actually went to hug them instead of smack him in the head again. He put one arm around Marius and the other around Aamori once he released her wrist. He honestly just wanted nothing more than to lighten the mood a little and just...get everyone's mind elsewhere.

Celestine's eyes widened when he suddenly felt Kanone slam into his back, which forced him forward into Marius again, though when Marius went to hug Kanone and Aamori he quickly became extremely uncomfortable. He was more or less being crushed int he middle and considering that everyone else was taller than him his claustrophobia started to kick in. He pushed against Marius while backing up against Kanone and Aamori, forcing everyone apart before he spun around and ducked beneath Kanone's arm. He scurried a couple of feet away and took a few deeps breaths while hunching over a little. "...Kanone... Don't do that!" he said as he straightened up again and looked back to him before taking another deep breath.

Marius took a step back when Celestine pushed him and then watched him scurry off before he smiled weakly and shook his head. "Still claustrophobic?" he asked as he shook his head. "Kanone, you're just out to torment your cousin to death today, aren't you?"

"Sorry, I forgot!" he whined as his ears fell back again.

Nanashi sighed softly and then shook his head before he smiled weakly, "I guess so." he said quietly. He blinked when she seemed confused as to what he was talking about and then sighed softly. "Just...the night I told you about before...the one I can't really recall anything from..." he said quietly, "...I remember...it was during the rainy season... it doesn't rain often in Cináed but when it does it...really pours, and it usually storms pretty bad." he said quietly. "...I guess...it was probably storming that night....and I don't know it just...makes me uncomfortable. I see things for a second that...I don't really have time to comprehend before it's gone. I think it's just something that I'm...probably not going to understand until I really remember what happened that night." He finally laid his head back down on her shoulder again and sighed, "...But like I've said before....some things...you're probably better off forgetting..."

Aamori backed up a bit as soon as Celestine had backed up against her and Kanone. She watched him for a moment while he scurried off. She knew he didn't like closed in places but she didn't know his claustrophobia was that bad. It was just a group hug after all, there was still an opening above him so it wasn't like he was completely closed in. She sighed quietly and then glanced over to Kanone when she heard him whine after Marius accused him of being out to torment Celestine today. She shook her head lightly and stepped over behind Kanone and then reached up quickly to pull his hair tie out of his hair. "You shouldn't pick on him so much Kanone." She teased while she started to take the hair tie closer to Kyiri, thinking she might enjoy playing with it.

LaRae felt a little bad for not recalling exactly what he had been talking about. She knew he couldn't remember this one night very well but she hadn't been too sure what all had happened on that night so hearing him say 'the same night everything else happened' really kind of threw her off. She continued to listen to him quietly and then smiled weakly after he laid his head down on her shoulder. "...I guess we should be kind of glad that the weather hasn't been that bad since we started the trip..." She said quietly. She could only hope that the weather would stay nice like it had been since they got here. She didn't want him to be frightened and unfortunately the weather wasn't anything that she could control. She had to agree that some things you were probably better off forgetting. "...I guess you need to figure out which you'd rather have." She paused. "The fear of thunderstorms... or the memory that may have caused the fear..." She said quietly.

Kanone blinked when Aamori snatched his hair tie out of his hair...again. It took him a second to realize what she'd even done until he saw her dangling it in front of his nose. He opened his mouth to speak and then gawked when she started to hand the tie over to Kyiri. "Ahh! Hey don't give it to her, I'll never get it back!!" he exclaimed as he started to lunge for it.

Kyiri looked up from her long empty food dish when Aamori started to come toward her with something dangly. Her ears perked up and she mewed while stretching up on her hind legs to see what Aamori had for her. She knew whatever it was Kanone didn't want her to have it, so apparently this was a free 'go ahead and torture Kanone' session coming up soon. If that thing left Aamori's hand she'd have it in her mouth and be off with it before Kanone even knew what had just happened.

Marius just smiled weakly and then shook his head before he just sighed and sat down on the edge of the fountain again. "Are you going to terrorize him, now, Aamori?" he asked lightly while suppressing a soft chuckle.

Celestine shook his head and then half smiled when he saw Aamori steal Kanone's hair tie and then threaten to give it to Kyiri. He knew that Kanone would really hate that, mostly because he suspected that Kyiri would probably nearly chew it in half after she got it. Oh well, he wasn't going to say anything. Kanone pestered the cat enough that he could stand to sacrifice a hair tie for her amusement. There wasn't much else here for her to play with.

Nanashi smiled slightly and nodded when she said that it was a good thing that it hadn't been that bad as far as storms went this had been a pretty peaceful. There just seemed to be a sort of rainy season for Caledonia much like there was in Cináed and he guessed they must have hit it. He sighed again when she said that he would just have to decide which was better, fearing and not knowing why, or knowing why and...probably still fearing. "...To be honest...I think I could live without either one." he said with a soft laugh.

Aamori paused once she got close to Kyiri and held the hair tie out above her and then glanced back at Kanone. She couldn't help but grin when she saw him start to lunge for the hair tie and then she quickly released it so that Kyiri could have it. She was going to let Kyiri torture Kanone at least for a little while. Besides, she thought it would probably be amusing. She looked over at Marius when she heard him and then shook her head a little. "No, I think Kyiri will do a good enough job of terrorizing him for me." She said with a quiet laugh.

LaRae nodded slightly. "...I think the only way that you are going to manage that would be to try over coming the fear without knowing what caused it." She sighed quietly. She wasn't even sure that was possible. If the fear stemmed from a specific memory he was probably not going to get over that fear until he recalled what caused it. Though he had pretty much already said that himself in a different series of words.

As soon as the hair tie left Aamori's fingers Kyiri dove up and grabbed it in her mouth just as she had planned to do before she darted between Kanone's legs and started to run away. Fortunately, she was small and could dodge around about as well as Kanone could himself, so she was going to be a little terror to try to catch. At least she was good for initiating a nice game of keep-away.

"Gah!!" Kanone groaned as he tried to grab the hair tie before Kyiri could get it. Unfortunately, she was gone with it before he even got close enough. He spun around and growled lowly. "Err! Come back here, you little thief!!" he called after her before he took off chasing her, trying to catch up with her. Unfortunately, even for a wind dragon that little feline was fast and agile, so catching her seemed almost impossible. He dove for her once, only to have her jump out of the way so that he nearly burrowed his face into the dirt. He grumbled as she got back up and then started running after her again. "Come back here!!!"

Marius just started to laugh softly as he watched Kanone run off after the cat. He shook his head and then sighed softly, "Oh my... I think I have had about all of the excitement I can handle of one day." he said with a soft chuckle. He smiled slightly at Aamori. "...Can you explain to be where exactly it is that I am supposed to be going?" he asked simply.

Celestine watched as Kanone chased after Kyiri and she moved out of his way every time he thought he had her. He laughed and then shook his head before he started back over to Marius again. He sighed when he heard him asking Aamori where he was supposed to be going. "...You're leaving?" he asked, sounding a little disappointed. He did want to be able to spend time with his grandfather and as far as he knew, Marius was the only one allowed on the island, or at least no one had bothered to tell him whether or not he could visit.

Nanashi smiled weakly and then sighed. "Yes, I guess so." he said softly, "Though...I think that sounds a lot easier than it is." he added before he nuzzled against her again. "...Well...I guess we can just add Thunder to the list of natural forces that scare me in high quantities..." He said with a soft chuckle, "I'm not too fond of deep water, tornadoes, or erupting volcanoes, either though...that's mostly just because I can't swim, don't wish to be impaled by anything, and don't fancy being hit with spewing lava."

Aamori watched as Kyiri got a hold of the hair tie and then took off running and couldn't help but laugh after Kanone called her a little thief. Technically, she was thief not Kyiri. After all the hair tie was given to Kyiri. She continued to watch for a moment while Kanone chased after Kyiri and then glanced over to Marius when she heard what he had asked. "Um.. of course. It's fairly simple." She paused. "...Once you're outside you just walk all the way around this building until you're at it's rear. Then take the path just to the right of the center one and follow that straight back through the market and housing district until you come to a large stone bridge." She thought for a moment, just to make sure she was right so far. "There should be one.. maybe two.. guards on the bridge somewhere. They tend to walk it sometimes rather than just stand at one end or the other." She paused. "Hisako should've already taken care of letting them know who all is allowed on that island, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting through... After that you just pick one of the three houses that are there and make yourself comfortable." She said with a nod. She wasn't sure herself who all was allowed on the island. She knew Marius would be along with herself and Levana of course but anyone else she'd have to make sure she checked with Hisako first.

Nero finally thought he'd make an attempt at slipping out of his room again. He'd pretty much kept himself locked up inside since he'd covered the window with as many blankets as he could find in the room; That made it nice and dark inside. He also didn't care to chance another fiasco like when Nanashi was changing on everyone. Although, since then he had at least made sure to sneak out of the room to get food once, maybe twice and to take a shower. Of course he did that at night when it wasn't so bright outside. He really wished he hadn't forgotten to bring his special glasses with him to block out the harsh rays of the sun. They really could do a number on his eyes especially places like this with the sun reflecting off the water and white sands. He stepped out of his room and almost instantly had to shield his eyes while they adjusted to the change from a dark room to a bright outside. Once his eyes adjusted it didn't take him long to step closer to the courtyard where he was a bit taken back by seeing Marius of all people. Then his eyes caught on Kanone and he flat out stared at him in disbelief. That idiot was not chasing that damn cat. Of course he was. He just stood there for a moment and then shook his head.

Marius listened carefully to Aamori's directions and nodded slightly. "Alright... I suppose I should start in that general direction before it gets too dark." he looked over to Celestine and smiled, "I'm only going to the island... You don't want me sleeping out here in the courtyard do you?" he asked with a soft chuckle, "I'm tired, Celestine, I'm not as young as you are, this was a long trip." He smiled again, "I would think you would be allowed to come see me there, though if not I could always ask Lady Levana to allow you to come... Though one would think she would have already given family permission." he said with a slight smile, even if Hisako hasn't told her that he was related to Celestine and Kanone, she knew now so asking her shouldn't be too hard.

Celestine sighed softly and nodded weakly before he stepped forward again to give Marius another tight hug. He guessed he could wait at least until tomorrow since Marius was tired...it would probably do him some good to rest. He backed up as Marius started to stand up and then glanced over to see what Kanone was doing, though it was then that he noticed Nero standing there in the courtyard.

Kyiri hadn't missed the fact that Nero had come outside, and of course she remembered her grand little adventure with him on the porch and how grumpy he was. If she could laugh in her current state, she probably would have sounded half maniacal as she changed directions suddenly and made a B-line straight for Nero only to run between his feet as she had done to Kanone earlier.

Kanone growled as he continued to chase after Kyiri trying to keep his eyes on her as he crapped at her a few times, though occasionally he shook his head to throw his hair out of his face. He wasn't even aware that he had started on a direct collision course with Nero until he heard both Marius and Celestine shout his name in a warning tone. His head snapped up and his eyes widened when he saw Nero right in front of him. he tried to slam on the breaks, but his shoes only slipped in the grass and his feet continued forward while the rest of him fell backwards. Well...at least he avoided plowing into Nero, but unless Nero had the pretense of mind to move, he was probably going to be looking down at Kanone where he was flattened out on the ground between his legs about halfway under him. "...Ow...ow...ow..." he muttered as he raised his head off of the ground and tried to rub the soreness out of the back of it where he had slammed it into the ground. "...H-hi...Nemo..." he groaned, again screwing up Nero's name. He just couldn't seem to grasp the idea of an 'r' in place of that 'm.'

Aamori nodded her head a little after Marius said that he should start heading in that direction. She was a little surprised that he had stayed here as long as he had. She glanced over at Celestine for a moment while Marius was talking to him. "I'm sure that Hisako has already taken care of who all can go on the island, I just need to double check with her first." She told them. She would probably say that it was okay for Celestine to go with him now if he wanted to, especially if she walked there with them just in case but she thought Marius might prefer a night of rest without anyone there. She shifted her attention after Marius and Celestine had shouted and watched as Kanone fell back and managed to get himself stopped right below Nero. She stared for a moment and then chuckled and shook her head when she realized that Kyiri must have gone in that direction; Why else would Kanone put himself where he was? She guessed that with Nero out here now it would probably be a little better if Kyiri wasn't terrorizing Kanone. She sighed softly and crouched down here she was. "Kyiri, we don't need you getting Kanone killed." She paused and held her hand out a little. "Let me have that hair tie back, for now." She at least thought Kyiri would listen to her since she could threaten to keep the special treats away from her if she didn't and she didn't think Kyiri would easily give those up.

Nero continued to stand there and he watched as Kyiri came towards him and ran between his legs. Still, he didn't bother to move; Even when he saw Kanone was coming at him he just stood there and then watched as the guy fell back and slid right under his legs. He crossed his arms over his chest and stared down at Kanone with a less than enthused look on his face. He grumbled quietly when he heard Kanone, yet again mess up his name. Honestly, was it really that hard to say 'Nero'? He sighed heavily. "...It's Nero." He muttered and started to lift his foot up and then dropped it down on Kanone's chest with a slight pressure while staring down at him. "Stop calling me 'Nemo'." He muttered sounding quite annoyed. He lifted his foot up off his chest and and then stepped off to the side so that Kanone could get up.

Celestine's breath caught when he thought Kanone was going to collide into Nero. He had done that once before already, but not at the speed that Kanone was running, and he doubted that Nero would be too pleased if he got trampled as soon as he came out of hiding. He sighed in relief when he at least managed not to collide with him, though he wasn't sure sliding between his feet was all that much better. He looked over to Aamori when she knelt down and called for Kyiri. He highly doubted the little feline was going to hand over that hair tie easily. She never seemed to want to do anything easily unless he told her to, and even then sometimes she complained a little.

Marius sighed and shook his head once Kanone had fallen over and then glanced over to Aamori when she told Kyiri to give back the hair tie. He smiled slightly at her and then sighed and started to move around Celestine and Aamori so he would walk a little closer to Nero. He half smiled when he saw him stand on Kanone and then shook his head a little. "...Good evening, Nero." he said lightly once he'd moved to let Kanone up. "I believe you are about the only one that I haven't seen yet." he said with a smile.

Kanone gasped when he felt the heavy boot on his chest and fell flat on his back again. He groaned uncomfortably at the pressure on his chest and then sighed, "Sorry..." he muttered again before he raised one hand to push on Nero's foot lightly. "Uncomfortable..." he muttered before he finally moved his foot. He sighed and rolled onto his side before he started to push himself up and dust himself off a little. He glanced back to Marius when he heard him speaking and half smiled before he looked over to Nero again before he just patted his arm lightly and then scurried off again. He glanced around, looking for Kyiri and then sighed when he saw her heading to Aamori and Celestine again. "Damn it..." he muttered under his breath.

Kyiri had started to scurry back toward Aamori and Celestine after she dodged around Nero and then slowed down since Kanone was no longer on her tail. She started to lay down so she could chew on the hair tie until she heard Aamori. She whined quietly and then sighed as she stood up and started over to Aamori. She sat there for a moment, still chewing on the hair tie a little before she finally spat it out in her hand after looking at Celestine as if wondering if she should really give it to Aamroi. She did decide to give it up, just because she didn't want to lose her dinner for the night.

Aamori continued to stay knelt down while she waited on Kyiri. She smiled a bit once Kyiri finally got over to her and had released the hair tie. She closed her hand over the hair tie and then reached over with her other hand to rub Kyiri's head. "Thank you, Kyiri." She said lightly and then started to stand up. She was glad that she wasn't going to have to fight Kyiri for the hair tie. Though, she doubted she'd fight her for it even if she had to. That easily could be more work than she wanted. She opened her hand and pinched the hair tie between her fingers before holding it out and shaking it a little. "Do you want it back even if it's been chewed on?" She asked with a chuckle as she looked over at Kanone.

Nero looked over at Marius when he heard him speak to him and then gave a slight nod of his head. "...Evening." He responded shortly and then uncrossed his arms. "...That's because the last time I came out here it was a fiasco." He muttered quietly. This time wasn't that great either if he wanted to be technical. He could've lived without having Kanone slide under him like that, but at least that was better than having him collide with him. He glanced down to his arm briefly when Kanone touched him and then watched as he scurried off and shook his head a little. He looked back at Marius and sighed quietly. "So why are you here?" He paused. "Don't trust me to keep an eye on your grandson like you asked?"

Celestine stared at Aamori when Kyiri just handed the hair tie over and then blinked and looked at Kyiri. After a second he shook his head and then looked back to Aamori again. "...What did you do to get her to listen to you?" he asked in an almost accusing tone. "She never listens to anyone that easily." he pointed out. That was true enough, aside from the obvious exception. Kyiri would do almost whatever he told her, but it was like pulling teeth to get her to listen to anyone else like that, unless you busted her butt... of course then Celestine would throw a fit on your if he got wind of it.

Kyiri sighed once she'd lost her toy and then wandered over to the fountain and laid down beside the empty food dish for a moment, though just a few seconds later she hopped up on the edge of the fountain and leaned her head down so she could get herself a drink.

Kanone was rather surprised as well when Kyiri just gave the hair tie to Aamori and then he narrowed his eyes suspiciously before he reached out to snag it. "Yeah, Aamori, where did you do to that stupid cat?" he asked, "She never listens to anyone but Celestine, ever." He said before he looked down to his hair tie and made a face. "Eh..." He just slipped that one onto his wrist until he could go...wash it or something. He didn't want cat spit all over his hair. He slipped one of the ones that Sanura had given him and then sent about putting his hair back up again while he waited for an answer from Aamori about the fuzz ball.

Marius tilted his head slightly when Nero said that the last time he had come out it had been a fiasco. "I see..." he said slowly. Once asked why he was here he smiled and shook his head. "No, Nero, I trust you. I'm...apparently here for a vacation." He said with a soft smile, "Kanone was getting restless so he decided that he was going to come after you and tag along, and apparently after seeing the place he talked Aamori into sending me a note inviting me over here...of course i didn't know why I was here until I got to talk to her." he sighed softly. "...Tell me... that 'fiasco' didn't happen to have anything to do with Nanashi being sick, did it?" he asked curiously. "I know there was a little more to that story than Celestine and LaRae wanted to mention with Lady Levana around. Celestine is a rather pitiful liar."

Aamori started to glance over at Celestine when she heard what he asked. She didn't make eye contact though, mostly because of the way he asked it. Her eyes shifted when Kanone took the hair tie back and she smiled weakly since even he had asked the same question. "I didn't do anything to her." She stated quickly. "And I didn't do anything, maybe she just likes me?" She suggested. She was going to deny pretty much everything just to try and keep the deal that her and Kyiri had made under wraps. Now that she was thinking about it for a moment she was thinking that maybe she shouldn't have asked Kyiri to give her the hair tie. It really did make them suspicious. She just hoped that they didn't try to put this together with Kyiri acting nicer towards Kanone. It was hard enough to deny everything as it was and that would only make it harder. Now she just had to keep her mouth shut. Though, should it manage to come out she'd still do her best to spoil Kyiri when she could sneak it.

Nero listened to Marius as he explained why he was here. He got quite a bit more detail than he thought he needed. Marius could have said he was here on a vacation thanks to a lack of communication on Aamori's part and that probably would've sufficed. He stared at Marius briefly when he asked about the fiasco having something to do with Nanashi being sick. "Sick? Sick my tail." He muttered. He sighed quietly when he said he knew there was more to the story. "...Nanashi wasn't feeling that great, I'll give him that but I don't think I'd call that sick." He paused. "I can't explain it all that well since I don't completely understand it but the guys body started to take on more dragon-like appearances. His arms and legs were covered in scales and the idiot was trying to rip them off... eventually wound up killing himself because he bled out and his heart stopped." He explained and then shrugged lightly. "He's only alive right now because of that walking white light and Kyran."

Celestine looked at her skeptically and then sighed. "...Right...sure." he said unsurly. He wasn't so sure that he believed that Kyiri just liked Aamori...she usually seemed to just like to pester people, but he could at lest give her the benefit of the doubt. He glanced over to Kyiri and shook his head slightly when he saw her drinking out of the fountains. He just sighed and started to look back toward Marius to see where he had wandered off to, though he soon found his attention back on Kanone again.

"Pfft. Bull." he said as he gave Aamori another accusing look, "That cat has been acting weird since we got here, something's up!" he said as he loomed over her. "What'd you do? You got an identical cat around here with the exact opposite personality? Hmm?" he asked "Out with it, what's up? You did something."

Marius raised an eyebrow when he got the 'sick my tail' comment out of Nero. Well, that didn't sound too promising. He sighed softly when he heard him start into the explanation, though as it progressed his eyes widened and his mouth fell open a little. "...What?" he asked sounding both shocked and horrified...as well as a little confused when he said that Nanashi's heart had stopped. How was he out here earlier then? He sighed when he added that the only reason he was alive was because of Hikari and Kyran. He shook his head slightly. "...I suppose that explains why he fainted..." he muttered softly, "How long ago was this? Does anyone even have any idea what caused that?"

Aamori was relieved that Celestine didn't seem to interested in pushing for a more truthful answer. She really wasn't all that surprised to hear that Kanone wasn't dropping it like Celestine had. She laughed nervously when Kanone said that something was up while he loomed over her. Well, his looming over her like that wasn't helping matters. She shook her head after he he asked what she did. "I didn't do anything." She paused. "And no... there isn't an identical cat. Kyiri is one of a kind, in Kairava anyway." She said and then averted her eyes a little. "I told you already, I didn't do anything." She repeated. "...Maybe you're losing it because Kyiri can actually go a length of time without doing something to irritate you?"

Nero was pretty good at keeping a straight face, even with the different expressions he was getting out of Marius with all that he had said to him. He lifted his arms up and crossed them loosely over his chest again. He thought for a moment when Marius asked about how long ago it had happened. Since he stayed locked up in the room he was using he wasn't all that sure, honestly. "I'm not entirely sure." He admitted. "I've been in hiding for lack of better words." He paused. "Three or four... five at the latest?" He shook his head a little. "As for what caused it... the walking white light could probably answer that a lot easier than I could." He sighed. "She seemed to have some idea of what was going on. The rest of us were kind of in the dark." He added. Even if he had overheard some explanation that Hikari had given when this all had happened, he'd done a fine job of not retaining too much from that night other than what was really important. He'd also spent a good portion of that night wishing that he hadn't stepped foot outside of the room he was using. All that managed to do was get him caught up in that mess.

Kanone's expression changed to one of mind annoyance before he grumbled. "Her existence irritates me." he growled softly. He gave her another accusing look and then held his finger up to point at her. "I'm watching you, missy..." he informed her, "You and that stupid cat are up to something, I know it." He straightened up a little and then took a step back before he crossed his arms again and huffed.

Celestine shook his head. "Kanone...you sound like an idiot." he said simply. "...You think she's conspiring...with an animal to...what?" he said as he shook his head. "Kyiri is smart, but I don't think those two are quite competent enough to have any kind of conspiracy going." he said simply. He glanced down when he felt Kyiri rubbing against his legs and he just reached down to pick her up again.

Marius sighed again and nodded his head weakly. "I see..." he said quietly before he shook his head again. "...I...suppose I could ask her. But then again, he seems to be doing alright for the most part, so I suppose it doesn't matter too much." he said with a weak smile. He started to cross his arms and then half smiled, "Well...I'm sorry Kanone nearly ran you over as soon as you decided to come out of hiding." he said simply, "...I hope it isn't too inconvenient if he goes with you... I just told him to go because he was about to drive me up the wall." he said with a weak laugh. "But I can always drag him back with me if you all think he will be too much of a hand full."

Aamori stared at Kanone when he held his finger up to point at her. She shook her head lightly after he said he was watching her. He could watch her all he wanted, that didn't mean she'd do anything in front of him to let on about her and Kyiri. Well, with the exception of her mouth. She hadn't meant to make either of them suspicious to begin with and she hadn't thought about it before she spoke to Kyiri. She shook her head again since he'd said that her and Kyiri were up to something. She glanced over to Celestine when he started speaking and nearly choked at the mention of conspiring with Kyiri. That was one way to put it she guessed. "...Oh yes, we're conspiring." She paused. "...We're conspiring to kill him with kindness." She said sarcastically. "And we do all of our devious plotting while he sleeps until noon." She added with a quiet laugh.

Nero shook his head a little. "You don't need to apologize." He paused. "Besides, I think it's that damn cats fault he wound up where he was." He said and shrugged lightly. He sighed quietly and shifted his weight a little. "...I can't speak for everyone but so long as he doesn't get in the way I don't really see why he can't tag along if he really wants to." He said with a slight nod. "These relic hunts haven't exactly been safe... so I hope he knows what he's getting himself into."

Kanone snorted and then shook his head in response to Aamori's sarcasm and then huffed. "It wouldn't surprise me... that damn cat has just been acting outright weird for the last few days." he said as he looked at the little fur ball in Celestine's arms. He just shook his head again and pushed against her forehead. "Or are you telling us the truth just because you think no one will believe it?" he asked with a smirk as he gave her 'that look' from the corner of his eye.

Kyiri mewed and tilted her head slightly to the side before looking back up to Celestine with a questioning look in her large amber eyes. She knew the both of them were on to her and Aamori, and Aamori more or less had just...pretty much told them what they were doing. She just wondered if Celestine bought it.

Celestine sighed heavily and shook his head slightly before he just sighed and patted her head lightly. "...I know, he's an idiot." he said simply before he started to turn around to go sit on the edge of the fountain with her. Once he sat down he placed her in his lap gently and began stroking her back again with a sigh.

Marius smiled again and laughed weakly. "Well...I like to think he does after what happened to Celestine. I think that's a big part of the reason he wanted to come along so badly, whether he wants to admit it or not. I may have to ask you to keep an eye on him more than Celestine." he mused in a half joking tone as he glanced back to Kanone. He sighed and shook his head before he looked back to Nero, "Though I believe asking you to keep an eye on the one might have been asking a little much." he said with a soft chuckle. "You know how us old people worry."

Aamori sighed quietly when Kanone said that Kyiri had been acting weird for the last few days. She couldn't really deny that she hadn't been acting different, it was kind of obvious that she had. "...Maybe she's coming into heat or something?" She suggested. She wasn't even sure that Kyiri could go into heat, but it was a feasible guess and it could explain her unusual affection towards Kanone. She stared up at his hand when he pushed against her forehead; She was quiet for a moment after what he said and then shook her head again. "...It's not very nice to keep accusing me of something I didn't do." She said quietly, trying to sound like she was really bothered by his constant accusations.

Nero nodded his head very slightly and then sighed. "...Don't worry about it." He started. "...I can't say I don't mind keeping an eye on either of them, but I will if they're traveling with the group." He told him. "Being in the military like I am... in my unit, I watch out for everyone and no one gets left behind." He admitted quietly and then averted his eyes. He really did try to keep an eye on everyone, part of the reason he usually took up the rear. That way he could usually see everyone and make sure nothing was following them too closely. He may not have liked being in a group with at least one person from every clan, but they had to work together and he was going to keep an eye on everyone even if he didn't like to. That was just part of his military training that was imprinted on his mind. He'd never admit what he had to Marius, to anyone else though. That was mostly to try and put Marius at ease with having both of his grandsons going into extremely dangerous situations.

Kanone stared at Aamori when she suggested that Kyiri may be coming into heat. He got a rather disgusted look oh his face. "Wait...are you suggesting she's loving all over me because... EW! Okay, just EW!" He shook his head and then pulled his hand back from her forehead. He sighed when he heard what she said and then shook his head. "...Well maybe you shouldn't sneak around and conspire while no one's looking so much." he said with a smirk as he motioned back toward Marius with his thumb. They'd managed that while keeping Celestine in the dark anyway.

Celestine nearly snorted when he heard Aamori's suggestion and Kanone's reaction. "Don't worry Kanone... I don't think she'd want you." he said with another laugh. He knew Kyiri wasn't all that crazy about Kanone or at least not as far as he could tell. She rarely ever rubbed on him unless she wanted something.

Marius smiled slightly when he heard what Nero had to say and then nodded. "...That is comforting." he said softly. He chuckled softly after seeing the way that he averted his eyes and then gently placed his hand on his shoulder. "You are a decent young man... whether you want to admit it or not." he said lightly, "I think they're all lucky to have you along."

Aamori couldn't help but laugh at Kanone's reaction to what she suggested about Kyiri. "I think Kyiri could probably do better than Kanone." She stared at Kanone after he said that maybe she shouldn't sneak around and conspire, then motioned towards Marius. "That was your idea or did you forget?" She said and then shook her head lightly. "...Are you sure you're not a little paranoid, Kanone?" She paused. "Honestly... Kyiri and I, conspiring together ...do you realize how crazy that sounds?" She said with a quiet slightly nervous laugh. Between the two of them she was happier that is was Kanone pushing this rather than Celestine. It was a lot easier to dodge the bullet when Kanone was making himself look like an idiot.

Nero glanced to Marius when he heard what he said and nodded slightly. It was meant to be that way or else he probably wouldn't have bothered opening his mouth. He looked at Marius' hand when he placed it on his shoulder and then his eyes trailed back to his face. "...Just don't go sharing that with everyone." He told him.

Kyran finally thought it was time to head back to the main building. He and Hikari had spent most, if not all of the day away from the building wandering around enjoying themselves. By now he was more than ready to get off of his feet for awhile, even if it meant going back to the room that they'd practically been confined in for days. After he reached the door he reached out to pull the door open for her and then glanced to her for a moment. "There isn't anything else you want to do today, is there?" He thought he'd ask just in case.

Kanone snorted when she said that Kyiri could do better than him. "Thanks a lot." he said as he rolled his eyes. He sighed and then shook his head when she said that it was his idea. "Yeah, it was my idea, but you didn't have to go along with it." He said as he stuck out his tongue. When she asked him if he realized how crazy her conspiracy with the cat sounded he huffed and shrugged. "Do you have any idea how crazy half of the mysteries of the world sound when explained out loud?" he pointed out. "It's not impossible! That cat is freakishly smart for a dumb animal."

Celestine shook his head again after listening to Kanone. "You are a nut." he said simply as he continued to stroke Kyiri's back. He did think that it was kind of funny the way that Kyiri was acting, but it could have been a number of things. She may have just realized that Aamori was going to be the only other one feeding her when he couldn't or it could have been the fact that they were far away from home. He really didn't know, but he didn't see where it really mattered. She was behaving at least...for the most part.

Marius chuckled again and pulled his hand back, "Now why would I want to go ruining your reputation?" he asked with a smiled. He sighed and then glanced up again, "Well, I suppose I should probably get out of here before it gets dark and I really get lost." he said simply, "I suppose I may see you again sometime." he said pleasantly as he started to turn back around to go go get his things.

Hikari was half glad to be back by now. She had adventured around about as much as she could stand to for one day. When he opened the door and asked if there was anything else she wanted to do she shook her head. "Oh no, I think I'm about all fun-ed out." she said with a soft laugh as she stepped back into the building. "But it was fun, wasn't it? At least there were no crabs this time..." she said with a soft laugh.

Aamori shook her head lightly. Had she not known otherwise she'd honestly think that Kanone was a loon for thinking that her and Kyiri were conspiring anything at all. "You know... that's kind of an oxymoron." She said as she looked at Kanone. "She's a smart cat and yet a dumb animal?" She said with a quiet chuckle. She shifted her gaze when she saw that Marius was headed over to get his things. "Marius.... would you believe that Kanone thinks that Kyiri and I are conspiring against him?"

Nero wouldn't put it past anyone to go ruining his reputation, especially Hikari. Given the chance he could see her trying to make everyone believe that he really wasn't as bad as he tried to make everyone believe. He gave a slight nod when Marius said that he should get out here. "...If I don't see you again I'd be more surprised." He said quietly. After all, he'd come a long way from Caledonia to Kairava just to have a vacation. If he was staying here for any length of time than they'd more than likely see each other again, at least once.

Kyran stepped inside after her and made sure to close the door before looking back to her. "Yes, it was fun." He paused. "I spent the whole day with you, after all." He said with a smile. "And had there been crabs this time I think we'd be having seafood for dinner." He said with a quiet laugh.

Kanone shook his head slightly. "I said she's smart for a dumb animal... She's still a lunatic cat," he said simply. He turned his head slightly when he heard Marius coming closer and then rolled his eyes at what Aamori said to him. He wouldn't have been surprised if Marius hadn't already heard them talking from where he was standing.

Marius smiled slightly at what Nero said before he left and then nodded slightly. "I suppose. Unless you decide to hide again, that is." Once he reached Aamori and the boys again he smiled slightly and then shook his head at what Aamori asked him. "With Kanone? I wouldn't be surprised to hear anything," he said with a soft laugh. He looked at Kanone for a moment and then smiled weakly and shook his head again before going to retrieve his bag. He started to pick it up and then paused long enough to lift the headdress off of the top and open the flap on the bag so he could set it down inside. The last thing he wanted to do was put that gaudy thing back on only to have to take it right back off again. Finally, he lifted the bag and hung it over his shoulder again before he looked over to Celestine and smiled slightly. "...I'll see you tomorrow...or whenever I get the chance." He raised his free arm to wrap around Celestine's shoulders and gave him a gentle squeeze before he stepped away again. He glanced over to Kanone and half smiled. "I would give you a hug, but one is probably enough for you for one day," he said with a soft chuckle. "I'm going to go before it gets too dark. Good night, you three." He smiled at them and then sighed softly and started to turn back toward the door again to leave.

Celestine smiled weakly when Marius came over to hug him and raised his arms to return the gesture before he backed away. "Night..." he said quietly after he'd said that he was going to go. He still wished he could go with him, but he guessed one more night of sleeping on the roof wouldn't kill him. He had Esen for company up there at least.

Hikari laughed softly at Kyran's comment and then shook her head. "Probably... I was very tempted to order crab the last time that happened," she said with a slight laugh. She glanced around a bit now that they were both back inside and then smiled slightly. "Well, well, look at that. Nero came out of hiding," she said with a soft laugh, though probably not quite loud enough to be heard where he was standing. She smiled when she spotted Marius by the fountain giving Celestine a hug. She was a bit surprised that he was still here, though it looked as if he was about to leave. She smiled and raised a hand in greeting when he started in their general direction.

Aamori looked over at Kanone and shook her head at him saying that Kyiri was still a lunatic cat. "You know... I wouldn't be surprised to hear that you go on and on about Kyiri like this because you secretly want her to like you, or something." She said with a chuckle. She watched as Marius went to retrieve his bag and then started saying his goodbyes. "Goodnight, Marius." She said after he had started to walk away and head towards the door. She didn't think that Marius would have any trouble finding the island he was headed to. It was fairly simple to get to, direction wise and there were usually guards wandering around that he could ask; Or townspeople depending on what time it was.

Nero shook his head a little at Marius' comment. He didn't think he was hiding that much. He did come out a little so that he could get something to eat and then again when he needed to shower. Well... okay.. he did stay in that room a lot. Collectively he'd probably spent all but a day or two in that room since they got here. He definitely couldn't wait until they made it to Shyama. He was more than ready to get out of the territories where the sun seemed so much brighter than usual. He glanced over towards the door briefly since Marius was leaving and spotted Hikari and Kyran. He sighed and turned to step out of the courtyard and back into the hall. He moved to stand behind one of the arches, leaning against it with his arms crossed over his chest as usual.

Kyran hadn't really looked around a whole lot until Hikari said anything. Now that he had looked he was kind of surprised to see Nero out. Though, with it getting dark he guessed it wasn't all that surprising really. "...Looks like he might be ready to go into hiding again." He said quietly having seen him step out of the courtyard. He turned his attention to Marius since he was getting closer to him. He took a step back and opened the door since it did look like he was on his way out.

Kanone snorted again at Aamori's comment? "Are you joking? I hate that cat." He turned his attention over to Marius when he said that one hug was enough for him for one day. "Yeah yeah, get a move on," he said with a half smile as he waved him off. He shook his head slightly and then smiled after him, "Night, gramps," he called before he got too far away.

Hikari glanced over to Nero again when Kyran made a comment about him being ready to go into hiding again. "Of course he is; I'm back," she said simply. She shook her head and then watched as he went back to open the door for Marius. She smiled at him again, "Good evening, Marius," she said softly as she stepped out of his way.

Marius smiled and nodded to Hikari while raised his free hand and then glanced over to Kyran when he got the door for him. "Thank you, Kyran. I'm pretty sure I will see you two later," he told them before he started out. "Have a good night." Once outside he sighed softly and then started around the building like Aamori had told him. He didn't think it would be too hard to find this island, though he couldn't say he was too comfortable with wandering around a strange place by himself with it almost dark.

Celestine watched as Marius left and then sighed and started to stand up while he shooed Kyiri off onto the ground again. He stretched a little and then glanced up to the roof again to see Esen looking down at the courtyard as if she was debating on whether or not she wanted to come down. He motioned with his hand for her to come on since most of the people that she hadn't already seen at least a few times before were gone. She had already been getting a little more comfortable around Aamori at least since wither Kanone or Celestine was almost always with her, though she still seemed more comfortable around him or Nobu than anyone.

Esen tilted her head slightly when she say Celestine motion for her to come down. She had been thinking about it, but she had also noticed the dark dragon that Nobu had told her about standing in the court yard, though she couldn't see him anymore. Even if he was still out she guessed she didn't really have to go near him. She was just a little tired of sitting on the roof since she'd been up there a good portion of the day. Finally, she jumped off of the roof and opened her wings on the way down so she could glide over to where Celestine and the others were standing. She landed a few feet away and then folded her wings again before she shook out her fur and stepped a closer to Celestine to rub her head against his hand.
