Aamori looked at Kanone after she watched Marius leave. "You keep saying that." She said as she stared at him for a moment. "And yet you still brought her here with you." If he really hated the cat like he said he did then she'd have thought he'd have just left the cat at home with Marius. Now that she was thinking about it for a moment, what in the world possessed him to bring a defenseless cat with him when he was aware of the things they'd be getting into. Speaking of things they'd be getting into; They still needed to go look for the water relic and sitting around here wasn't really getting anything done. She was pretty sure that everyone else could be ready at the drop of a hat, but she was slightly concerned with Nanashi since he had fainted earlier.

Nero wasn't exactly ready to go back into hiding. He would if he really needed to but for now he was kind of enjoying the fresh air. So staying tucked out of the way seemed like the best way keep out of the direct line of contact while still staying outside where he could be seen.

Kyran nodded his head lightly to Marius and continued to hold the door open for him until he had gone out. "Goodnight, Marius." He said as he watched him start off. Once he was gone from sight he shut the door and then looked back to Hikari for a moment before he started away from the door and closer to the courtyard. He couldn't help but stare a little over at the canine that wound up near Celestine. He hadn't really seen Esen, but he had heard about her from Kanone. He was a bit surprised by the fact that she actually had wings, but it was a pleasant surprise. That meant she wouldn't have to be carried long distances like Nobu would. He looked over to Hikari and then looked back to the other canine. "I haven't met her yet but have you gotten a chance to meet her?"

Kanone shrugged slightly. "What else was I supposed to do with her? I just brought her so I could shove her at Celestine so she would shut up and leave me alone." he said bluntly. He highly doubted that Marius would have wanted anything to do with that cat for any extended period of time. In all honesty he hadn't thought too much about bringing her with them. He was pretty sure they could ditch her somewhere for a little bit before they went anywhere really dangerous. He glanced up when he saw Esen come sailing off of the roof and then sighed heavily when she went right to Celestine...as usual. SHe shook his head and then crossed his arms lightly before he finally noticed Kyran and Hikari coming

Celestine smiled slightly at Esen and then reached over to rub the top of her head when she came to him. "Hey there, girl," he said softly as he rubbed behind her ears. He glanced over to Kanone and then looked down to Esen again while Kyiri started to weave between the canine's feet the way that she usually did to Nobu.

Hikari looked out into the courtyard when Esen came gliding off of the rood and then smiled slightly. "No, I haven't," she said quietly, though now she was rather eager to go greet her. She smiled at Kyran and then reached down to take his hand, "Come on, let's go see her." She stepped out into the courtyard and started to walk in that general direction, though she did move slowly since she did recall hearing something about this one being very skittish.

Esen turned her head when she heard the others approaching and her ears perked up for a moment before she scurried around behind Celestine and poked her head out from behind him to look at Hikari and Kyran. She whined quietly and then laid down with her head next to Celestine's feet.

Aamori laughed quietly. "So she'd leave you alone?" She paused. "How's that working out for you?" She asked with a smirk. Kyiri was probably loving this; Just paying attention to Kanone seemed more than enough to annoy him so she didn't have to be a little terror all of the time to get under his skin. She glanced over to Esen briefly when she moved to lay down behind Celestine. That dog was just way too shy. It was only Hikari and Kyran who were coming over and those two if she had to say were probably the nicest outright of the group. It was a shame that Esen couldn't like.. pick up on that type of stuff so she'd know who to be wary of and who not to. Well, at least Esen wasn't like Zale; Jumping all over people the first chance he got and being flat out rambunctious.

Kyran followed her after she took his hand and nodded a bit. He did want to meet Esen as well and kind of wished he'd gotten to meet her sooner. As they got closer he couldn't help but stare while Esen moved behind Celestine and wound up laying down on the ground at his feet.. He remembered being told that she was skittish and quite shy but he wasn't really expecting that. "...I don't think I expected her to be quite like that." He said quietly. "She's definitely different than Nobu." He added as he looked down at her.

Kanone rolled his eyes when she asked him how that was going. "Don't even ask..." he groaned. That cat was being even more annoying than ever lately. He couldn't walk without tripping over her, and he had no idea what she wanted. He watched Esen for a moment and then glanced over to Kyran and Hikari, offering them a weak smile. "Hey. Umm... I guess you noticed Esen," he said with a slight laugh.

Celestine glanced behind him to Esen and then sighed heavily when he saw that she'd laid down. He knelt down beside her and laid a hand on her head gently to stroke her ears again. He glanced up to Kyran and then half smiled. "No, she's nothing like Nobu," he agreed quietly. He turned his attention back down to the canine and sighed softly, "Esen, don't hide behind me, go say hello," he urged her.

Hikari came to a stop and then half smiled as she released Kyran's hand. "Wow...she's so pretty," she said quietly. She took a slow step forward and then knelt down a few feet away. "Come here, it's alright," she cooed as she held out her hand a little.

Esen raised her head slightly when Celestine told her to go say 'hello.' She whined again and looked at Hikari and Kyran unsurly before she slowly started to crawl forward once Hikari had knelt down. After a moment she got back to her feet and walked up to her timidly, keeping her ears laid back as she sniffed her hand a little and then placed her head under it and pushed up a bit so that her hand slid down over her head. Slowly, all five of her bushy tails started to wag slightly behind her, dusting the ground when she moved to sit.

Aamori merely chuckled quietly when she heard Kanone. She turned her eyes back to Esen while Hikari tried to to get Esen to come to her. She continued to stand where she was for a moment and finally decided that she was going to have a seat. She walked over to the fountain and then sat down on the edge of it. She happened to glance down and see the bowl that Kyiri had eaten out of. That reminded her that she needed to feed Kyiri tonight and since a certain someone was so suspicious of them she was thinking that she might have to feed Kyiri in her room this time. At least then it could be easily hidden that she had been feeding Kyiri extra food at night.

Kyran looked to Celestine for a moment and then nodded lightly. It would be ludicrous to think that every canine was going to be the same as Nobu. Since he'd never once spoken to Nobu he wasn't aware of the fact that the canine's personalities would eventually become similar to that of their master. He had to agree with Hikari when he heard her say that Esen was pretty. She was, and the wings were incredible. He kind of wished that Nobu had some wings too. He sure did weigh a lot even with his diet being the way it was. He continued to stay where he was and didn't bother moving an inch when Hikari started trying to get Esen to come to her. He was at least wise enough to know how to act around shy animals and for now he was going to stay where he was and if Esen was at all interested in meeting him than he'd wait for her to come to him.

Hikari smiled warmly when Esen came up to her and gently started to rub her head. "Hey there pretty girl. Awww you're so soft," she said quietly while she stroked her ears. She raised her other hand slowly and started to rub the side of her neck gently. She looked back up to Kyran again with a wide smile on her face before she resumed petting Esen, laughing softly whens he felt the canine's forked tongue run over her hand.

Esen let Hikari pet her for a little bit before she looked back to Kyran. After giving Hikari's hand a lick she started to stand up slowly and inched around her to look up at Kyran. Well...she had no intention of going right up to him. He was really tall and just a little more intimidating looking than anyone else she'd seen so far....well aside from the dark dragon. If he wanted to pet her she wasn't going to stop him, she just sat back down again and then looked back to Celestine as if asking him if she'd done alright since he was the one that told her to go.

Kanone sighed heavily after watching Esen again. He stood there silently while Hikari petted her and then glanced back to Celestine again when he saw Esen looking back to him. He shook his head and then sighed again before he crossed his arms over his chest again. Ever since he had that talk with Kyran about the blades and the canines he had been thinking about this, and just watching the way that Esen responded so easily to Celestine finally made up his mind. He bit his lower lip for a moment and then glanced over to Celestine again. "...By the way, Cel..." he started slowly, "those blades are yours." He glanced away again, "I don't want them anymore."

Celestine was just watching Esen as she let Hikari pet her. He nodded slightly when she looked back to him and then looked over to Kanone when he spoke to him. After hearing that the blades where his he stared at him with a look of both shock and confusion on his face. "Wh-what? Why!?" he demanded after hearing that he didn't want them anymore.

Kanone looked back to him again and shrugged. "I never wanted them in the first place really, I just ended up with them. You know me, I'm one of the most irrisponsible people on the planet, do you honestly think I could handle taking care of something that has a living creature attached to it? I'd end up snapping one of the things. We all know you would take better care of the blade and her than I would." He half smiled as he glanced to Esen, "Besides, she likes you better, anyway," he finished. "I'd rather you have them. Her and the blades will still be around in the long run, right, so why not?"

Celestine stared at Kanone with his mouth hanging half open. In all honesty, that was one of the most responsible and unselfish things that he'd ever seen Kanone do. At least he knew when to admit that he couldn't do something. He didn't even know what to say right now. He knew that Kanone was fond of Esen so he was rather surprised that he was giving her to him, though...like he'd said, she would still be around. He finally just closed his mouth without saying a word and nodded once.

Esen's ears perked up when she heard Kanone tell Celestine that the blades were his and that he didn't want them anymore. At first she wondered what she'd done to make him not want them, but then after hearing the rest of what he says she stood up again and then ran over to Kanone and hopped up to put her front paws on his shoulders and give his face a lick while all of her tails wagged behind her. "Really, Kanone? Thank you!" she exclaimed before she hopped down and nuzzled against him before scurrying over to Celestine to nuzzled against his chest, obviously pleased with the sudden turn of events.

Kyran watched quietly while Hikari was petting Esen. He returned a smile when Hikari looked back at him. He stared at Esen for a moment when she started to stand up and slowly moved closer to him. After she sat down he smiled softly and then knelt down so that he could reach out and pet her. "Is Nobu being nice to you?" He asked softly while he smiled at her. He continued to gently pat Esen though he glanced up from her as soon as he heard what Kanone had said. He didn't even have to hear any further explanation; His jaw was practically laying on the ground. How could he not want the blades, or Esen anymore? He could never see giving Nobu away. He started to stand up while he listened to Kanone's reasoning and then shook his head slightly. At least the blades were staying in the family, he guessed. But still... the blades and the canine were a responsibility that you grew into. He shook his head again a bit in disbelief when he saw just how happy Esen seemed to be with Kanone's decision. He still couldn't believe that Kanone just gave up the blades that easily, but... it must have been what was best for the blades and Esen. He sighed softly and then glanced over at Kanone. "...So ...if you're blade-less, what are you fighting with?" He asked curiously.

Aamori sat on the edge of the fountain and just watched as Hikari was petting Esen and then watched when Esen moved closer to Kyran. At least she seemed a little more open with meeting people. Or maybe that was because Celestine had told her to go say hello. She sighed softly and glanced back down at the empty bowl. She thought briefly about using this time to take and drop the bowl off in the kitchen and sneak some food to Kyiri. Though that thought went right out the window when she heard what Kanone said about the blades. She couldn't believe that she had just heard him say that Celestine could have them. She listened quietly while Kanone explained himself and smiled weakly. At least he was looking out for Esen's well being. Kanone couldn't even handle feeding a small cat so how was going to be expected to look after a large dog? She shook her head lightly when she saw how excited Esen seemed to be from what Kanone had decided. That certainly couldn't have made him feel very good.

Hikari stared at Kanone with the same shocked expression as everyone else when he said that he didn't want the blades anymore. As she listened she sighed softly and then shook her head slightly. She could tell by the way that Kanone spoke that he didn't really want to give up the blades, or maybe it was the dog, so she wasn't entirely sure why he was doing it until he went into explanations after Celestine had asked. She smiled weakly though she shook her head when Esen went and tackled him and then ran to Celestine again.

Kanone blinked when Esen came over to slobber on him after he'd just given her away. He just stood there and then sighed heavily once she'd gotten down. "Gee, thanks..." he said with a heavy sigh. After a moment he just smiled and shook his head, "Well, glad you're happy about it at least," he said with a slight laugh. He glanced over to Kyran when he asked him what he was going to be fighting with and then shrugged. "Well...I kinda hoped since Cel was going to have the blades he's let me borrow his swallow, but if worse comes to worse I guess my hands?" He laughed softly, "I am a dragon after all, I don't think we really need weapons to fight when we have fangs and claws."

Celestine looked at Esen when she came to him and then shook his head slightly though he did reach up to rub her ears. "Esen...that wasn't very nice..." he thought to her quietly, "Kanone likes you a lot, you know..." He glanced up again when he heard what Kanone said to Kyran and then nodded slightly. "...As long as you don't break it..." he said unsurly, "I want it back when we get home." He lowered his hand from Esen's head and then started to stand up again.

Kanone rubbed the back of his head and smiled slightly, "Hey, at least that one can be fixed," he said nervously, "But yeah, I'll be careful," he assured him.

Esen looked up to Celestine for a moment and then glanced back to Kanone for a moment. Her tails slowly stopped wagging when she realized that what she'd said and how she'd reacted was a little harsh. She liked Kanone, but she really didn't want him for a master just because she had already seen how irresponsible he was. She turned back around and walked over to him again to nuzzle against him lightly and then began licking his hand. "You're sweet, Kanone..." she told him quietly.

Kanone looked down again when he felt Esen nuzzling against him and smiled slightly before he knelt down to pet her. "Yeah, yeah..." he mumbled quietly after hearing what she said. He raised his arms to wrap around her neck loosely and then let her go to rub behind her ears. "You better still play with me after this," he said with a smile as he ruffled up her fur a little.

Kyran nodded slightly after he heard Kanone say that he kind of hoped that Celestine would let him barrow his swallow. That made sense at least since Celestine couldn't very well use both the blades and the swallow at the same time. He shook his head a little after the fangs and claws comment. "After the two guardian's that we've had to fight..." He paused and shook his head again. "If you really want to get close enough to use your fangs or your claws, be my guest." He really couldn't see getting that close to Nerian, if anyone did they'd surely have been fried. Then that hydra... well... they'd already seen what happened when someone got too close. He glanced over to Celestine after he gave permission to Kanone to use his swallow. It was obvious that Celestine was attached to his swallow so he was kind of glad he wasn't really being selfish about it. If Celestine hadn't given him permission then he was sure that Aamori could probably have found him something to use, or he could just take Nanashi's weapon if he still didn't want to use it. "Now that the weapons are taken care of..." He paused and glanced over to Aamori. "Do you have any idea when we're going to try looking for the water relic?" He asked, honestly ready to get a move on.

Aamori continued to sit there quietly just listening to them. She looked over to Kyran and stared at him for a moment after he asked about going to look for the water relic. She sighed softly and shrugged a little. "We can probably go whenever Nanashi is well enough." She said with a nod. "...I don't know how well he's really feeling and since he fainted earlier today... well... I'm a little wary of doing anything just yet." She said honestly. "I mean... we know that there will likely be a guardian again and that... might be a little much for him right now?" She questioned while glancing around a little.

Nero's ears twitched when he heard Kyran's question and he started to peek his head out from behind the arch he was standing behind. He continued to stand there at least until he heard some of what Aamori was responding with. He stepped out from behind the arch and leaned against the side of it so that he could be seen better. "Just leave him here." He responded shortly. "The guy can't fight and he would more than likely just get in the way." He paused. "He can make himself useful and watch the animals." He added lastly.

Kanone smiled at Esen after she 'woofed' in agreement to playing with him after this, and then turned his attention back to Kyran as he stood up. "Heh..." He shrugged slightly and then shook his head. He hadn't really seem the first guardian, but he could imagine it wasn't all that pretty after seeing what had happened to Celestine with the second one. Either way, weapon or no, unless he had a bow like Hikari, he's have to get close to whatever it was. Still, he was glad that Celestine had agreed to let him borrow the swallow for a while since he...wasn't quite as good with his fangs and claws as he'd like to think. He glanced over to Kyran again when he'd asked about when they were going to look for the relic and then glanced to Aamori again. He sighed softly when he heard what Aamori said. "I think he just worked himself into a panic attack because he got stuck out here with your elder..." he said simply. He blinked and then turned his attention to Nero when he spoke up, half surprised to even see him since he'd thought he'd already gone back into hiding. "...Geez, aren't you pleasant," he said flatly.

Celestine listened to Kanone's question to Aamori and then sighed softly when he heard her answer. He nodded in agreement with what Kanone had said about him working himself into a panic attack; that...more or less summed up what had happened. He looked over to Nero when he spoke and narrowed his eyes slightly in irritation at the way that he said it before he sighed. "...I hate to admit it, but he does have a point. If he could work himself up to the point of fainting just by being in the same general area with Levana then I think it's safe to assume he'd going to panic when we come across the guardian. The last thing we need his him passing out somewhere out there...and...I can't see him being too much help with that weapon since he hasn't gotten to train at all since he was with me in my back yard," he said simply, "...It might be safer for him if he did stay here. He had to stay behind when we fought the hydra, too, and we all made it out alive," he pointed out. Of course he'd only made it out barely alive, but he wasn't going to bring that up again; Nanashi couldn't have helped that anyway.

Hikari listened to Aamori's statement and then glanced back to Nero when he spoke. She huffed and was about to say something to him before Celestine spoke up. She sighed heavily and crossed her arms slightly, "You also have to remember that he really hasn't had a chance to do anything yet, either. He wasn't even armed when we went up again Nerian and his body couldn't tolerate the poison in that forest, so he never even say the hydra." She was at least trying to say something on Nanashi's behalf.

Celestine signed softly, "And this time he's still trying to recover from dying for a few minutes; do you really think he's up for it? It hasn't even been a full week and he lost a lot of blood."

Hikari just sighed, obviously mostly defeated. "...Well he could at least be asked what he thinks before we just decide to leave him here," she said finally.

Kyran listened to everything that had been said and for the most part he kind of agreed all the way around. The only thing he didn't really agree on was the way that Nero had said what he had. Then again... Nero never did watch how he spoke. He sighed quietly. "Lets just ask Nanashi which he would prefer." He paused. "That way it's his choice what he does and we're not making it look like any of us would rather he stay here." He said with a slight nod. "If he does want to go with us... maybe we can go a little later in the day, maybe sometime in the afternoon and he might be able to get a little basic training in?" He paused. "Or something.. like that.." He said quietly. At least that way they could also see just what shape Nanashi was in.

Nero continued to stand where he was and listened quietly to what everyone else had to say. He couldn't really help that he was blunt with what he was saying, after all he wasn't going to make something sound nicer just to please everyone else. "Giving him a choice isn't going to change anything." He started. "I think, even if he doesn't feel up to going he'll more than likely say he'll go because he doesn't want to just be useless." Not to mention he couldn't really see Nanashi just sitting here in this building all by himself while the rest of them were off looking for the relic.

Aamori glanced around as everyone spoke and sighed quietly. Why did saying anything about Nanashi kind of feel like opening a can of worms? It didn't seem like that bad of a topic right not at least since most of them kind of agreed with what Nero had brought up. But that didn't really change the fact that some of them felt he should be allowed to go with them. She glanced over to Kyran after hearing what he'd mentioned about the time of day that they could go. "We can go tomorrow at the soonest." She paused. "And I'm vaguely familiar with where we need to go, so even going in the afternoon wouldn't hurt anything." She said and then sighed. "I'll just have to talk Hisako into letting me off the hook with training tomorrow. Or.. well... whenever we decide that we're going."

[[Sorry had to cut this short; Have to leave and go out for a bit >.<;]]

Kanone sighed slightly after listening to everyone and then shook his head slightly. He really didn't know what to add in. That stupid cat could probably use a babysitter, but then again he didn't really think that Nanashi should be forced to stay behind for that. At least it seemed like Kyran and Hikari intended to leave it up to him as to what he could do. When Nero spoke again he sighed and glanced over to him again. "Well can you blame him for not wanting to be useless?" Nero already made him sound more or less useless when he spoke about him though...from what he'd heard thus far he really hadn't been too much help, but still.

Celestine shrugged slightly, "...Well, I don't really see what it hurts either way. If he stays he stays, if he goes I think he has sense enough to stay out of the way if he's not up for the fight." He didn't think that Nanashi was the sharpest tool in the shed, but he did think he was at least smart enough to know not to stand between them and what they were attacking. He glanced up to Kyran and then sighed, "I guess if he feels up to it I could train with him in the morning...or something."

"Pfft, why not just throw him to the wolves? You play too rough, Cel, you'd probably beat the poor guy half to death," Kanone piped up with a laugh, "Let someone else do it."

Celestine just sighed heavily, "If I was playing I might be inclined to agree that I play rough," he said simply as he shook his head, "but whatever."

Hikari chuckled softly at Kanone and Celestine and then shook her head. "When training it does usually turn out better if you don't use kid gloves, but I don't really think we need to throw him to the wolves just yet," she said with a slight smile, "He needs to know the basics before we go beating him up too badly."

"I went easy on him..." he pointed out with a sigh.

Kyran sighed quietly. They really didn't need to have someone beat Nanashi senseless, especially if they were going to go look for the relic afterward. How much sense would it actually make to have someone train with him, beat him to a pulp and tire him out then expect him to go with them in search of the relic. He shook his head a little. "Before we even get any further with the idea of putting Nanashi through some basic training, we need to see what he wants to do." He stated. "It would make no sense to stand here and toss the idea around and decide things if he doesn't want to go with us." He said with a slight nod. After they checked with Nanashi then they could decide who would be the best bet to train with him in the morning. Hell, for all he cared Nanashi could pick who he wanted to work with, just so long as it helped him.

Aamori stared over at Celestine after he had pointed out that he went easy on Nanashi. She couldn't help but roll her eyes a little. Sure, he went easy on Nanashi and made her look like complete rookie in front of Hisako when they sparred earlier. "Celestine shouldn't be allowed to train with others..." She commented quietly. "He sparred with me earlier... if you could even call that sparring... anyway he made it look like I'd never trained a day in my life." She said quietly. She had some faith in her ability to fight but after that little match earlier today she wasn't so sure. She hadn't even managed to hit him and in no time at all he'd already won the fight. That wasn't exactly something she thought Nanashi needed to go through since he'd never had a day of formal training in his life. If Celestine wasn't going easy on him how was he going to survive that? She sighed quietly and then shook her head a little.

Celestine just shook his head and held up his hands slightly after what Kyran had said as if saying 'I surrender' and then turned his attention to Aamori when he heard what she was muttering about. He rolled his eyes and dropped his hands to his sides again, "And like I've told you before...that's the difference between fighting for survival, and training all day in a building," he said simply, "I thought with as many years as you said you'd been training daily that I wouldn't need to go too easy on you. It's not like I would fight Nanashi that hard if I was with him; he really hasn't trained a day in his life."

Kanone half smiled at Kyran, "True, but it'd also save time tossing them around tomorrow if they'd already been tossed," he pointed out. He glanced over to Aamori when he heard her and then looked at Celestine and shook his head. "See? I told you he's too rough. Really, Cel, don't you know how to treat a lady? Go easy..."

Celestine just smirked, "You tell me to go easy against you all of the time, what does that imply about you?" he said simply, "If a lady is going to be brave enough to pick up a weapon I'd think she should be able to take getting hit, right?" he asked as he glanced over to Hikari.

Hikari just smiled weakly and held up both hands. "Haha... leave me out of this one, you two," she said simply, "but...personally, yes, technically you wouldn't usually find a real lady with a weapon to begin with," she said with a soft chuckle, "But then what do I know? Anyway...Kyran has a point, we can resume pondering who Nanashi trains with after he decides whether or not he's even up for trying it or not."

Kyran shook his head after listening to Aamori and then Celestine's response to what she had said. "You don't have to go easy on her but you don't need to fight like you're going to kill her either. Besides, sparring isn't usually a battle for survival." He said with a quiet laugh. He shook his head slightly and glanced over in the direction of the room that LaRae and Nanashi had been using. "...The sooner we know what he wants to do, the sooner we can finalize any plans that we're doing." He said and then glanced around a little. "Anyone willing to go see if those two are awake?" He paused. "It isn't that late, so I'd assume they were awake..." He didn't really want to be the one to go check on them so of course he wanted to see if there were any takers first before it wound up stuck on him like he thought it might.

Aamori stuck her tongue out at Celestine when he brought up the difference between fighting for survival and training in a building. "...Hisako could probably give you a run for your money and she's only ever trained in a building." She muttered quietly. There was a difference between her and Hisako though, Hisako had some actual battles under her belt rather than just training and sparring. She shook her head a little after Celestine, in a round about way, called Kanone a lady. She stared over at Celestine again after his last question and then listened to what Hikari said. She sighed quietly. Just because she carried a weapon and knew how to use it didn't mean that she knew how to take a hit, let alone was okay with being hit. She finally looked back over at Kyran when she heard his question about anyone willing to go see if LaRae and Nanashi were up. She wasn't exactly jumping up at the idea but she would if no one else was willing to.

Celestine glanced at Kyran and then shrugged again when he'd said that sparring wasn't usually a fight for survival. "I wasn't trying to kill her. I never even used the weapon," he said bluntly, "Well, other than to hold her once I got her down." He glanced back to Aamori again when she said that Hisako could give him a run for his money, "Of course she could. I'm sure she's done more than just train you...plus she has what...at least eight years on me?" He shrugged and then put his hand on his waist, and then looked at Kyran again when he mentioned someone going to see if LaRae and Nanashi were awake. He glanced around to the others for a moment and when no one said anything he sighed. "I guess I can," he said finally. He didn't really care to see if they were up and tell Nanashi what was going on. He was actually worried about him coming with them anyway.

It actually took Kanone a moment to figure out what Celestine was hinting at, but when he caught on that he'd more or less just called him a woman he blinked and then gave him a look. "Hey!" He huffed and then crossed his arms over his chest before glancing over to Aamori again and then looked back to Kyran again. He sighed and waited for a moment and was just about to speak up when Celestine said that he'd go. He laughed weakly, "Just be nice, Cel," he said simply as if he had a feeling Celestine was going to be about as blunt at Nero would be. He usually was.

Hikari didn't bother to speak up just yet when Kyran asked if there was anyone who wanted to go see if Nanashi and LaRae were up, mostly because it always seemed to be either her and/or Kyran that wound up with those jobs. She glanced at Celestine and half smiled at him before she heard Kanone's comment. She knew that Celestine could be harsh...he'd proven that in Caledonia when he had been so against letting Nanashi go near the hydra's forest, though he hadn't told them why he was so against it until they were practically there. "Mm..." she thought about offering to go herself after that but she just sighed. Maybe it wouldn't hurt...Celestine did seem to have calmed down quite a lot from when they first met.

Celestine glanced back to Kanone after he spoke and gave him the evil eye before he shook his head and just started walking toward the archways again. If he didn't want him going then he should have said something before hand. He glanced back when he heard paws behind him and realized that Esen was following him. Apparently she had no cares to stay out here surrounded by people without him.

Kyran was glad to see that someone other than Hikari or himself would be going to check on those two. He didn't really care who offered to go as long as it wasn't him. Then again... Nero wouldn't be his top choice but it wasn't like he expected Nero to offer to do something like that. He wasn't really that worried about Celestine being harsh with Nanashi. He wasn't even sure what all Celestine was going to say to Nanashi but all he really needed to do was find out what he wanted to do. Then, if he wanted to come with them see if he was willing to do a little training in the morning. At least here there was a pretty controlled environment that the training could be done in. He watched as Celestine started off and then shook his head lightly when he noticed that Esen was going with him. He certainly wasn't used to such a shy canine. Nobu was nothing like Esen and he was kind of glad.

Aamori sighed quietly after listening to Celestine. Hisako did have a good few more years on him. So did her brother, not quite as many as Hisako but still. She shook her head lightly. She was just a little bit of a sore loser when it came to stuff like that and more so she hated being made to look bad by him of all people. She watched as Celestine started to head off. She glanced down to the bowl that Kyiri had eaten out of before and then reached down to pick it up. She then glanced around for Kyiri for a brief moment before she stood up and started to head towards the kitchen. Once she reached the door she stepped inside and left it open a crack in case Kyiri had decided to follow her.

Hikari smiled slightly at Celestine as he started to leave and then sighed softly and glanced after Aanori before she moved over to sit on the edge of the fountain to sit down. She half smiled when she saw Kyiri trotting after Aamori and then shook her head. "Celestine leaves and animals scatter in all directions," she said with a soft laugh.

Kanone looked after Celestine when Esen started after him and then sighed softly. He shook his head and then flopped down on the grass right where he stood with a heavy sigh and only a moment later he was laying on his back with his arms crossed behind his head. He stared up at the sky blankly for a moment and then sighed and closed his eyes when Hikari commented about Celestine leaving and animals scattering in all directions. "Mhmm..." he muttered quietly. He was still a little bummed about the latest little turn of events. He really had wanted to keep Esen as his even if he didn't really care about the blades, but she had made it a little more than obvious that she wanted Celestine as her master, not him. After all she had taken right up with Celestine and almost seemed like she wanted to stay hidden from him most of the time. He didn't regret giving the blades to Celestine and consequentially her as well, he just wished that she had come to like him more than she had. Oh well...there was still time, she may get to like him eventually. She might actually give him a decent chance now that he wasn't the one caring for her blades. He did look a little mopey laying there, but he didn't really realize that his sulking was showing on his face.

Kyiri's ears perked up when Aamori picked up the bowl and then she hopped up from where she had decided to sit down. Her tails waved in the air as she bound after Aamori when she started for the kitchen and she squirmed into the door behind her when she went into the kitchen. Once inside she ran up to Aamori and started to rub around her legs lightly while mewing softly.

Celestine wandered up to the bedroom door and sighed softly as he knocked and waited for a few moments for an answer. He crossed his arms as he waited and then called through the door lightly, "Nanashi? If you're still up I need to talk to you." He glanced down when he noticed Esen sitting down beside him and then sighed before he dropped his arms and started to stroke the top of her head gently while waiting for the door to open.

Kyran watched as Hikari went to sit on the edge of the fountain after Aamori had started to walk off with Kyiri in tow. He looked over at Kanone since he'd wound up laying on the ground. He tilted his head slightly and then stepped a little closer to Kanone so that he could look down at him. It was easy to read on his face that he was sulking. He sighed softly. "Moping like that really doesn't suit you." He commented quietly. It was rather strange to see him with any sort of sad expression, mostly because he was usually always smiling and joking around. He assumed that the only reason that Kanone was sulking was because he'd given Esen to Celestine. Or well, he couldn't think of any other reason that Kanone would be like this. "She's still going to be around. It isn't like you let a complete stranger have her."

Aamori glanced down when she felt Kyiri rubbing around her legs and smiled. She was glad she didn't have to say anything to Kyiri to get her to follow after her. She set the empty bowl down on the counter and then knelt down for a moment to rub the top of Kyiri's head. "I'll be right back with your special treat for tonight." She said as she stood back up and climbed over to the counter to head into the back room to the fridge. She passed right by Annan with nothing more than a wave as she went to the fridge to retrieve something for Kyiri. After she had the bowl she shut the fridge and returned to the counter with it where she proceeded to remove the cover from it. "Where do you want to eat it, Kyiri?"

LaRae glanced towards the door when she heard a knock. She had already started to get up from the couch before she knew who was at the door. She glanced back to Nanashi for a moment after she was back on her feet. She was a little curious what Celestine needed to talk to him about. She continued over to the door and reached for the knob to pull it open so that Celestine could come inside if he wanted.

Kanone Blinked, looking a bit surprised when Kyran came over and spoke to him. He just stared at him for a moment and then smiled, "Heh, yeah I know. Sorry, didn't know I was moping," he said simply as he turned his gaze up to the sky again. "...It just...would have been nice if she'd wanted me instead," he said quietly before he laughed, though it sounded halfhearted and somewhat forced, "but whatever makes her happy." He closed eyes again, though he tried to keep that slight smile on his face as he laid there. "Could have lived without the slobber, though," he commented as moved one hand to run over is face again.

Hikari looked at Kyran when he moved closer to Kanone and then sighed softly as she looked down at him while he answered Kyran. "...Still, that was very sweet of you," she said quietly, "Most people wouldn't have given her up if they had still wanted to keep her."

Kanone opened his eyes again and glanced at Hikari for a moment before he laughed, "Well...I was kind of more afraid I would break her than anything. "I'm just running away from responsibility again. Mr. Serious can handle that," he said simply, trying to sound entirely indifferent on the matter. "I'd say she has a lesser chance of something getting snapped with him; everything I own gets ruined. I'd rather have her around than say I own her."

Kyiri purred loudly when Aamori started to rub her head and then rubbed against her legs again. She watched as Aamori crawled over the counter and then sat down while looking up at the counter. She meowed loudly once, since she'd never been in here and had no idea where Aamori was going. Her ears perked up when she heard the bowl sat down on the counter and she finally crouched down and then jumped when she heard the lid coming off. She latched onto the edge of the counter with her front paws and then scrambled to get the rest of the way up with her back feet, making a good bit of noise as her claws scraped against the stone. She managed to get about halfway up before she started to slide backwards again.

Celestine waited patiently until the door was opened and then nodded to LaRae before he stepped inside. He glanced back to Esen, but she hadn't stood up so he guessed she had no intention of coming into someone else's room. 'I'll be right back.' he thought to her before he looked back to the rest of the room. He sighed softly and then looked over to Nanashi with a slight smile. "Hey, um..." he took a deep breath and then sighed softly, "I think tomorrow we're going to look for the relic here. So...are you feeling up to going or would you rather wait here?" he asked simply, "It's up to you."

Nanashi tilted his head curiously when he heard the knock at the door and then looked a LaRae after he'd heard Celestine's voice. He started to stand up when Celestine came in and then returned the smile, though it started to fade when he heard what Celestine had come to talk to him about. He sighed softly and then glanced over to LaRae for a moment before he looked back to Celestine again. "Well...I...I don't know... What do think I should do?"

Celestine smiled slightly and then shook his head. "It doesn't matter what I think. How are you feeling? If you don't think you're up for it, you can stay here; it's alright," he tried to assure him.

Nanashi sighed softly, "I...well...I..." He closed his eyes for a moment while he tried to think. He really didn't want to stay here while everyone else went out and stuck their neck out. "...I'll go," he said finally, "I can't stay here."

Celestine sighed softly, looking almost disappointed with the decision. "Alright. Then do you think you can stand some basic combat training in the morning before we go...just so you know how to use your weapon better?"

Nanashi nodded again, for once not even looking wary of the idea. For the first time he actually looked like he wanted to learn to use that thing, just so he could fend for himself and not be in everyone else's way. "Alright." He was quiet for a moment before he sighed, "You don't want me to come?" he asked finally, obviously after picking up on the change in Celestine's tone.

Celestine blinked and then shook his head, "No, no not...well no, I don't want you to come, but..." he just smiled weakly at him, "I would feel better if you took it easy for a while, it's still kind of early to be pushing yourself. Just...be careful if you go, try not to faint again." he said with a weak laugh.

Nanashi just smiled weakly. "...Thank you... But I'll be alright."

Kyran continued to look down at Kanone as he spoke and then glanced over to Hikari briefly when she spoke as well. "It was nice of you, especially since you were looking out for Esen's well being above all else." He said with a slight nod of his head. "...And, personally ...I don't think there was enough time really for Esen to get to like you." He didn't think that Esen could really want to be with someone she didn't have a whole lot in common with, right away anyway. It was obviously easier for Esen to get along with Celestine than Kanone. Kanone was just so much different than Esen; He was quite outgoing and she was pretty shy. He shook his head lightly at Kanone's comment about running away from responsibility again. "It'll catch up to you sooner or later." He commented quietly. One could only avoid responsibility for so long before it caught you and you had no where to run. "At any rate... looking out for Esen rather than yourself... that's pretty grown up of you."

Aamori smiled a bit when she saw that Kyiri was trying to get up onto the counter. She didn't care too much for how loud she was being but that couldn't really helped. Her eyes widened slightly when Kyiri started to slide backwards. Since she had the lid off the bowl and her hands were free she reached for Kyiri and grabbed her so that she wouldn't slip off the counter. "There you go.." She said quietly as she set her down on the counter near the bowl. "Next time maybe you should wait until I can pick you up and put you on the counter." She said with a quiet chuckle.

LaRae smiled slightly as Celestine stepped inside and then shut the door when it looked like Esen wasn't going to come inside with him. She then started back into the room and she stepped over to the bed to sit down on the edge of it. She just sat there quietly while Celestine had started what he wanted to talk to Nanashi about. She wasn't all that surprised to hear that they'd probably be going to look for the relic tomorrow. She was a little taken back by the question that Celestine asked though. In her own opinion with what had happened to Nanashi the other day, of course she'd rather he not be put anywhere near harms way but she also was pretty sure that Nanashi wouldn't just sit idly by while the rest of them went off looking for the relic. She sighed quietly and continued to just listen quietly. She was a little surprised by Nanashi when he nodded and agreed to the training in the morning. She hadn't expected him to be okay with that, at all. He just seemed to adamant against using the weapon before so the change of heart was a little surprising, honestly. She just kind of stared awestruck when Celestine actually said that he didn't want Nanashi to come with them. She'd be more comfortable if Nanashi wasn't going anywhere dangerous but she didn't think she really had it in her to actually tell him that she didn't want him to come with them.

Kanone shrugged slightly where he lay when Kyran said that it'd catch up with him sooner or later, "Well, I'll take the later," he said simply. He glanced back to Kyran again after his last comment and then shook his head slightly before he laughed as he pushed himself up, "Oh come on, you two are going to make me blush in a minute. I just didn't want to deal with it, ya know. Cel likes putting up with animals, so he can do all the work, I just like dogs, I didn't want to take care of one." He laughed as he stood up, "You're giving me way too much credit." He stood a step back and then sighed, "Anyway, I'm going to hit the hay...I have a feeling someone's going to drag me up before noon tomorrow so may as well get an early start. Night you two." he said with a slight wave before he started to walk briskly back toward the room he had been using.

Hikari just half smiled and didn't bother to say a word until Kanone was out of ear shot and then she chuckled softly. "I guess he likes being a petty and immature," she said with a half smile. She glanced back to Kyran and then shook her head with a smile. Celestine and Kanone were like polar opposites. Celestine tried to be as mature an responsible as an adult twice his age, and Kanone tried his best to come off like nothing more than an immature, irresponsible pest.

Kyiri mewed when Aamori saved her from falling back into the floor and rubbed her head against her hand lightly before she started to sniff at the dinner and then started to munch at it happily, not even minding that it was cold. She kind of liked it better that way. her tails waved contently behind her for a moment and after a few seconds she just laid down with her face still in the bowl munching away.

Celestine nodded to Nanashi again, "I hope so," he said quietly, "You've been bedridden enough for one week, don't put yourself back there." He sighed heavily and then started to back up again, "Well, I'll go tell Kyran and the others what you want to do." He said simply, "Good night, Nanashi... and LaRae," he added as he glanced in her direction. He sighed and started back toward the door again, not surprised to see Esen still sitting there when he opened it.

Nanashi smiled again at Celestine and nodded slightly. "...Good night." he said quietly. He sighed softly once Celestine had managed to get away and then shook his head before he walked over to sit down beside LaRae. He closed his eyes and then leaned back, keeping his legs hanging over the side of the bed. He definitely wasn't looking forward to tomorrow, especially not the morning training, but he couldn't very well sit back and make everyone else do all of the work all of the time. He had to learn how to fight eventually. One thing that Nero had said to him had at least sunk in...he was going to need to know how to protect someone else if not himself, and he could choose his battles.

Nero stuck around long enough to listen to most of the conversation between Hikari, Kyran and Kanone. By the time that Kanone was making his exit he was thinking about going back to his room as well. There hadn't really been a need for him to be out here other than to get some air and he'd done that already so he was just about ready to lock himself up in his room again. Especially since it looked like they'd be heading out sometime tomorrow to start looking for this darned relic. He turned and started to head out of the courtyard back towards his room.

Kyran shook his head lightly after listening to Kanone and then watched as he started to leave, quickly. "Goodnight, Kanone." He called after him and then glanced over to Hikari. "...I have a feeling that may change a little the longer he's with us." He commented and then noticed that Nero had left the courtyard as well. He sighed quietly and looked back to Hikari. "They're dropping like flies." He commented quietly. "...I guess it would be wise to get to sleep as soon as possible tonight."

Aamori smiled at Kyiri after she rubbed her head against her hand and then started into the bowl of food that she'd set down for her. She stood there and watched her for a moment before she picked up the empty bowl and the lid then she turned and was about to take them over to the sink before she walked right into Annan and nearly dropped what she had in her hands.

Annan reached out to take the bowl and lid from Aamori after she'd bumped into him. He took them and walked them over to the sink, setting them down inside for him to wash after Aamori had left. He looked back over at the counter and smiled noticing the cat that was burying her face into the bowl of food. "So that's the little cat that I've been making all these dishes for?" He asked as he started back over to Aamori and then watched as the cat was eating.

Aamori watched for a moment as Annan took the dishes from her and carried them to the sink. When he came back and asked about Kyiri she looked back at her and smiled. "Yeah, that's Kyiri." She answered. "She's Celestine's cat." She added lastly.

LaRae looked at Celestine when he said goodnight and then watched as he started to leave. "Goodnight." She said quietly. She looked at Nanashi when he came over to sit down beside her and watched him lean back. "...Are you sure that you're alright with all of this?" She asked quietly as she stared over at him. She didn't really want to admit it but she'd definitely be more comfortable if he sat this one out. Though it looked like he wanted to go with them and there wasn't a whole lot that could really be done about it. She just hoped that this time wasn't quite as dangerous as the last two times they'd gone looking for the relics.

Hikari smiled slightly at Kyran when he said that would probably change the longer that he was with them. "Probably..." she said quietly before she glanced over to where Nero had gone. She smiled slightly and then nodded, "Yes, I suppose it would be," she said quietly when he mentioned getting to bed early. She glanced over to the archway when she heard another door open and shut and then say Celestine coming back to the courtyard. "...So what's the verdict?"

Celestine glanced up when he heard Hikari's voice and then sighed softly, "...He wants to come with us. And He agreed to training in the morning," he said simply, "So I guess the rest of you can decide who gets that job." He stifled a yawn before he glanced around the courtyard, noticing the absence of Kanone, Aamori, and Nero. He just sighed and then made his way over to the fountain t flop down off to the side of Hikari. He still didn't look too thrilled, through he had several good reasons not to be. There were at least two people going with them that he didn't think needed to be anywhere near whatever was guarding this relic. Of course he didn't think Kanone needed to be near any of them at all. "You two should probably head to bed pretty soon, shouldn't you?" He planned to go soon enough himself, but he wanted to try to clean up a little first and put on some different clothes now that he had them.

Kyiri looked up for a moment at the sound of someone else's voice and then mewed softly before she resumed stuffing her face with the food she had been given. After a moment she raised her paw to the bowl and then tipped it over so she could reach what else was in there since she didn't want to stand up to get to it just yet. As usual, it didn't take her too long to have the bowl cleaned out and she looked back up to Annan with those big amber eyes of hers before she stood up and pranced over to the edge of the counter and pawed at his arm. She definitely hadn't missed that he'd been the one making the yummy dishes. She started to purr as she looked at him and then laid down on the counter and rolled over so that her belly was exposed.

Nanashi opened his eyes for a moment to look at LaRae and then sighed before he closed them again. "...I have to be," he said quietly. "Since this trip started I've been nothing but useless and one more thing everyone has to look out for... I may not be as strong as the rest of you, and I know that I can't use magic, but there has to be something that I can do... Why else would I have been chosen? If I stay behind every time there's a guardian to face, how in the world are we ever going to find the fire relic?" He opened his eyes again and looked over to her, "...I am going to get stronger, and I am going to learn how to take care of myself so you all can stop looking over your shoulders," he said firmly, "I'm not a child...I will take care of myself."

Kyran looked over to Celestine after he heard Hikari ask her question. He wasn't that surprised to hear that Nanashi was going to be coming with them. Though, hearing that he agreed to the morning training, that is what surprised him a little. Celestine hadn't been gone that long so he assumed that Nanashi had been pretty easy going with everything that Celestine had said to him. Or at least he didn't think there had been enough time spent for Nanashi to fight Celestine on the morning training. "...We can probably decide that in the morning." He said in response to who got the job of training with Nanashi. He wasn't even too sure who he'd think would be best for Nanashi. He did think it needed to be someone with some knowledge of the weapon he was using since it was going to be basic training. Well, that is unless Nanashi already knew his way around that thing he was given. He nodded his head slightly when Celestine said that they should probably head to bed pretty soon. "Yes, especially since tomorrow looks like it's going to be a busy day." He said as he looked over at Hikari. "Are you ready for bed yet?" He asked as he looked towards their room. Since they spent the majority of the day walking around he was more than ready to get off his feet at the very least.

Annan nodded slightly when Aamori told him the cats name and who's it was. "She awfully cute." He said and then looked back over to Kyiri. He watched her finish off the bowl. He already wanted to pet her by the time she looked at him with those big eyes of hers. He'd already inched closer once he saw her pawing at him and then couldn't help but smile seeing her roll over showing her belly. He reached down and started to gently rub her belly. "So how long do I get to keep making meals for such a cute kitty?" He asked as he pried his eyes away from Kyiri long enough to glance back at Aamori.

Aamori nodded when Annan said that Kyiri was cute. She really was, that much was undeniable. She watched as Annan walked over and started to rub her belly and then looked up at him when he asked how long he was going to get to keep making food for Kyiri. "I'm not really sure." She paused. "We'll probably be here a few more days at the very least." She answered and then looked down at Kyiri. "...I think we're all going to be going out tomorrow." She paused. "So you might get to look after her while we're gone."

LaRae continued to look at him. She sat there quietly while he spoke. She wasn't even sure what to say to him, thankfully though he didn't leave very much room for her to even get a word in edgewise until he was finished speaking. By the time he was done she was practically sitting there gawking at him because of the conviction in what he said. This by far was one of the first, if not the first time that he had spoken about fighting and taking care of himself on any level like that. She glanced away for a moment. It really did surprise her and honestly she was a little embarrassed that she didn't have anything to really say in response to him. She just couldn't think of anything at the moment. She smiled slightly and then glanced back to him before leaning down to lightly kiss his cheek. "...I believe you." She told him quietly once she sat upright again.
