Aamori looked up at Kyran again as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. "How long will it take us to get there?" She was going to ask another question but was cut off by Kyran's stomach growling again. She leaned over and poked his stomach with her index finger and chuckled. "Sounds like someone is hungry"

Kyran was embarrassed by his stomach's cries for food. He pushed Aamori's finger away from him gently as a small bead of sweat slid down the side of his face. "Pardon my stomach..." He mumbled replacing his hand over it and applying a slight pressure hoping to calm the growling. "We're a few hours from the forest, we might be able to make it there by lunch time.." Just as he finished his sentence his stomach spoke out again at the thought of food. He sighed softly and looked over at Aamori. "There is also a town close to that forest, so we will be able to get some supplies, food and medical help for LaRae"

Nero continued to lay on the ground ignoring everyone else for as long as he thought he could. His ears twitched and he noticed that most of them were up and moving now, so he would get up too. He rolled onto his back and stretched out on the ground yawning slightly. He stared up at the sky for a moment before lifting his legs and rolling back on his shoulder blades slightly and then jumping up to his feet. Once to his feet he immediately put his hands into his pants pockets and glanced around at everyone else briefly.

LaRae's ears twitched when she felt him touch her hair. She held her eyes shut, even though she was now awake. She just didn't want to have to get up yet, so she thought she'd pretend to be asleep for awhile longer.

Celestine stretched his arms over his head for a moment and yawned as he unfolded his wings and then folded them tightly against his back again. He held his side lightly after lowering his arms. That still hurt to move too much, but he guessed it was mild enough that he could ignore it for the most part. He looked over toward Aamori and Kyran and then sighed as he looked up to the sky again, half wondering where Lani had flown off to. He guessed she probably went to go find food.

Hikari stretched a little more and then looked around a bit, smiling slightly when she looked behind her and Saw Nero up. "Good morning. How is your arm?" she asked brightly. She seemed in a decent mood considering everything that happened yesterday. Then again she was just always like that to a degree. Normally Kyran would have probably been the first person she said good morning to, but since Celestine seemed uninterested and Kyran was talking to Aamori, Nero was the only poor soul available at the moment.

Nanashi smiled weakly at LaRae when she didn't get up and chuckled softly. "...You sleep a lot..." he muttered softly. He looked back toward the sky again, "...Guess if nothing else I make a decent pillow..." he said to himself as he chuckled again quietly. He blinked and looked down at his knees again. "...Why am I laughing so much?"

Aamori crossed her arms in front of her chest again when Kyran pushed her hand away. "By the sounds of your stomach it looks like we should get going soon" She chuckled hearing his stomach grumble. She shifted her weight and put it all on one leg, her tail swaying behind her. "When are we going to head out?"

Kyran sighed softly and gave up trying to quiet his stomach from making noises. He looked down at Aamori for a moment. "We can leave as soon as everyone is up and moving" He briefly glanced back over his shoulder to look and see who wasn't awake yet. Of course Nanashi and LaRae we're the ones not on their feet yet. He shook his head lightly and looked back out in front of him.

Nero shifted his glance to Hikari when she spoke to him. He sighed heavily; He'd only been awake for a short period of time and already he had to deal with miss bucket of sunshine. His eyes darted off to the side so he was no longer looking at her. "It's fine" He muttered before glancing down at his arm to actually check it to see how it was. He didn't touch it or move it, just looked it over since he had answered her without really knowing for himself. It looked fine to him anyway, it was still a tad sore but he wouldn't let anyone know that.

LaRae couldn't help but open her eyes and look up at him, to defend herself "I do not sleep a lot" She paused and shook her head slightly. There went her 'pretending' to sleep. Well, she was up now and might as well stay up. She sighed softly noticing how much he was laughing; Which was something she had not heard a lot of. She quirked a brow still looking at him. "Yeah... I'd love to know why you're laughing too" She paused and looked down at herself. "It isn't me is it?" She asked wondering if there was something about her that made him laugh so much.

Hikari just smiled slightly. "Well, that's good." she said simply, toning down the cheer meter a bit. Nero, she already knew, wasn't too thrilled about even talking to her, so no need to waste quite that much energy. "If you want me to take a look at it, I will... but I think it should be fine. You really got off easy." She turned her head away and covered her mouth as she yawned before sighing and stretching out a little.

Celestine just started over toward Kyran and Aamori silently, just to see if they were about ready to go. He glanced over toward Nanashi and LaRae for a moment and huffed as he came to a stop near Kyran. He looked up as him for a moment and then started to say something but just closed his mouth and sighed as his ears flattened out. "...Thank you...for yesterday." he said dully, rather than the question that he'd been about to ask.

Nanashi looked down at her for a moment when she opened her eyes. "...Maybe." he said simply, "I don't know...really... Maybe it's just lack of sleep..." he shook his head and glanced over toward the others. "...I think everyone is ready to go." he told her as he gently sat her off of him and started to get up, taking a moment to stretch everything out before holding his hand down to LaRae.

Kyran's ears twitched he turned so that he could better see Celestine when he spoke. "You don't have to thank me" He said with a slight smile. "You should thank your eagle friend; Without her I may never have found you" That statement wasn't necessarily all true, Kyran would have found him it just would have taken him longer because he would have checked everywhere and then stumble upon the boy. At least that's how things usually worked for Kyran; Always seemed to find the thing he was looking for in the last place he would think of to check. "So, how are you fe..el..."

"Feeling, Celestine?" Aamori had cut Kyran off and finished his question. She smiled warmly looking at Celestine. She was a bit surprised that he had even walked up near her, considering previous occurrences. He'd only been nice to her once and after that he dove into his usual anti-social behavior. "You didn't appear to be hurt as badly as some of the others. Even so, I'd love to know if you've recovered."

Nero didn't bother making eye contact with her, nor did he move from where he was standing. His tail flicked once and then rested down at his feet; for no real reason. "I don't need your help" He stated in his usual emotionless tone. He was now starting to wish that he had not shown what he considered his true self to Hikari while they were in the cavern. Now that she knew, it appeared as if she would not leave him alone now. He sighed and shifted his glance quickly over towards Kyran and the other two. He wished they'd get on with this trek so that Hikari would go back to being glued to Kyran.

LaRae smiled softly and reached up taking the hand he offered and got to her feet. "Lack of sleep huh?" She paused. "Then next time you can use me as a pillow; It's only fair." She stated as she started to walk towards the others. Luckily for her she had rested well enough that she was pretty much back to normal, what ever normal is. She still needed some time to regain all of her magic energy though. Since there was no greenery here in this waste land it took a lot longer for her to get her energy back. She also for the time being had forgotten about her wings being bound, so she wasn't trying to undo them. At least until someone reminded her. LaRae seemed a bit more happy today then last night, perhaps having the chance to talk about everything made her feel better after some sleep. That was the first time she'd ever told anyone all of that information, specially the parts about herself. Yet, she didn't regret it one bit.

Celestine looked up at Kyran and then nodded weakly, a hint of a smile on his face when he mentioned the bird. He looked away again, at least until they started asking how he was feeling. "...I'll live." he said simply. His head still hurt as well as his side, which he was clearly still favoring a bit, but he wasn't going to complain about it. They couldn't do much, anyway. He was pretty sure it was just one hell of an ugly bruise.

Hikari nodded slightly and smiled a little. "Alright." she said softly, "I suppose that is a good thing." she said lightly before glancing over at the others. "Hmm... looks like we're about ready to go." She said, more to herself than to Nero. She glanced back to him again and smiled slightly. "You're a strange one, you know..." she said casually before shaking her head and looking away, "...Then again I have no idea what I expected." She turned around and started to walk over toward the others, leaving Nero to his peace.

Nanashi blinked when LaRae said that he could use her as a pillow. "...That's...alright..." he said simply. That just sounded awkward to him. He half smiled as she started to walk off. He was glad at least that she seemed to be doing better. He finally turned around and started after her again. He still thought it might be better if he kept his distance form her but after last night...he wasn't sure what he should do. For now, he just tagged along behind her like he had been doing since they met.

Kyran sighed softly when Aamori cut him off and waited to hear the answer to the question. After hearing that Celestine said he would be fine, he looked around again to the others to see if it was alright to start walking now. He nodded to himself slightly seeing that most of the others had started to head towards him. He looked over at Aamori and Celestine for a brief moment before he started to head north again like they had been for the past two days. "C'mon guys, they'll catch up to us in a minute" He slipped his hands into his pockets as he walked.

Aamori smiled warmly "Well, if you say so Celestine" Her ears twitched when she heard Kyran start to walk away and looked over at him just in time to hear him tell them to follow. She turned on her heel and started to follow after him; She looked over her shoulder to see if Celestine was coming too.

Nero quirked a brow slightly when she said he was strange. He shook his head thinking 'You sparkle in the sun and I'm the strange one?'. He sighed and started to walk towards Kyran and the others since he had caught them walking away out of the corner of hie eye. He kept his hands folded in front of his chest as he walked. This time, he had shortened the distance a little between himself and the others. He was starting to slowly feel a little more comfortable around them, well, a couple of them. Though he doubted he'd ever get use to Hikari and her overly pleasant self. Since when did being a Light Dragon mean you had to have a matching personality? He shook his head again softly and continued to follow after the others.

LaRae didn't look back at him when she spoke and she repeated something she said before. "It's only fair" Of course referring to how often she'd been allowed to use him as a pillow and yet his sleep suffered because of it; That was not fair. At least in her eyes. She picked up her pace slightly when she noticed that Kyran and the others had started to head out; She didn't want to get left as far behind today. Though she was careful how she walked because she didn't want to force too much pressure down on the leg that was still sore, let alone chance opening up one of the cuts.

Celestine nodded slightly to Kyran when he told him to come on. He sighed and just started to walk after Aamori. He still kept a bit of distance between himself and her, but not a whole lot, just enough that he had plenty of arm space, though one of his arms was practically glues to his aching side as he tried to dull the pain by holding it. It wasn't working too well.

Hikari just sighed as she continued walking, trying to hurry and catch up a bit, though she remained a little behind anyway. She didn't guess it would kill her to walk on her own for a bit, she doubted the others really wanted her glued to their arm the entire trip. Besides it looked like Kyran already had Aamori to deal with. She knew she could be a bit clingy, and she also knew from dealing with Ishta that clinginess could be fairly annoying. She just liked having someone...aside form Ishta, close to her. She was a little too used to being cooped up inside most of the time, except for whens he decided to pull one of her disappearing acts.. but even then, she was pretty much on her own most of the time. Kyran didn't seem to mine her being around, but Nero didn't seem to be in much of a friendly mood anymore. She just sighed as she kept going, watching the ground so she didn't trip and kill herself on another rock.

Nanashi smiled weakly to LaRae's back. "...Life doesn't have to be fair." He said softly. "...Besides, I...don't really mind. It's...nice." He soon caught up to her and walked beside her rather than behind her, glancing over to her occasionally. "How is your leg?" He asked, noticing how careful she was being.

Kyran kept up his pace for the most part he was eager to make good time even though he knew they'd make it to the forest today. Perhaps the fact that he was practically starving played a large part in how fast he was walking. Stomach pains aside, he glanced back over his shoulder to make sure everyone was still back there. His eyes lingered on Hikari a little longer then any of the others before he turned and looked back in front of him. He was surprised that she wasn't walking beside him like she had done before. Maybe she just wanted some space? He sighed softly and tried to focus a little on this relic they were looking for.

Aamori got bored rather quickly with no conversation going on and Kyran appeared to be losing himself in thought so it was pointless to try and talk to him. She turned around and started to walk backwards, being very careful when she stepped down; She didn't want to trip over a rock or anything. She looked at Celestine seeing him holding his side. "Does it hurt still?" She asked figuring he must have hurt his side during his fall.

LaRae glanced over at Nanashi when he moved beside her. Life was never fair, at least that's how she felt but that didn't mean the people in it couldn't be fair. She tilted her head towards the ground as she walked. "I was just trying to return the favor..." She said quietly. "If you don't want to use me as a pillow then that's fine... But I will stop sleeping on you, that way I'm at least being fair" She lifted her hand gently and started to pick at the wraps around her waist. She started to lift her eyes to look over at him but stopped and focused on the bandages she was playing with. "My leg?" She paused. "It'll be fine... Just have to watch how I step down.."

Celestine raised his eyes slightly to Aamori and sighed quietly before lowering them again. "...A little." He admitted, quietly, "There's nothing to be done about it...it's only a bruise." It hurt every time he jarred it...which was nearly every time he took a step.

Nanashi glanced over to her again and gently raised his hand to hers again, pushing hers away from her bandages. "I see..." he said softly, "And you know... I really don't mind you resting against me. I was just having trouble sleeping last night...and you were talking, so..." he just half smiled, "I just woke up and couldn't get back to sleep..."

Hikari remained quiet for a while, but after a bit the lack of talking started to get to her too. She took her hair down from the lose ponytail that she'd put it in before and shook it out a bit, combing it with her fingers for a moment before tying it back again. Absently she started to hum quietly to herself as she walked, not paying too much attention to what she was singing. She only sang actual words at the very end of the song when she all but whispered the ending 'Oh, you could even melt a heart as cold as snow. Come with me into my heart and you will know love...'

Aamori went to speak again but was cut off when she stumbled back over a rock. She threw her arms out as she wobbled and tried to keep her balance. She started to fall back but her tail caught her and pushed her back onto her feet. She nervously laughed a little and continued to walk backwards, trying to be more careful as to not have that happen again. The last thing she needed was to fall on her bum in a skirt this short. She looked over at Celestine once she didn't think she'd trip again. "A bruise, I doubt apply pressing helps that..."

LaRae realized she was messing with the bandages as soon as his hand moved hers away. She slowly dropped her hand back down to her side; She really never noticed she was picking at them. It just happened, mostly because the wraps made her skin itch all over. She was half looking forward to getting them off, though she knew Aamori would make sure knew ones were applied very soon after. She looked up at Nanashi briefly when he said she was talking and quirked a brow. How was she talking if she was asleep? 'Do I talk in my sleep?'. She tilted her head back to the ground. "I was talking...?" She paused fidgeting with her hands; She had nothing to occupy them with. "...I don't remember anything after I fell asleep..." She absently lifted her hand again and started to play with the bandage.

Celestine sighed softly and shook his head slightly. "...Not really... but not apply pressure doesn't make it feel any better, either..." He didn't move his arm, it was just a habit with him. Whenever he was injured, he just felt the need to hold it. He looked at her for a moment and then tilted his head slightly. "...Shouldn't you...turn around and walk like a normal being?" he asked simply, "If you fall I am not picking you up."

Nanashi nodded slightly. "...Yeah..." he half smiled and glanced away for a moment. "...I didn't think that you did." He said simply. He was pretty sure if she'd known what she was saying that she wouldn't have said it at all. He looked back only to see her messing with her bandages again and sighed, shaking his head. Finally, he just reached up and rather than push her hand away, he grabbed onto it and pulled it back to her side, holding onto it tightly. "Stop that already..."

Aamori sighed softly "It's no fun to always do things the way you're supposed to..." She paused. "Seriously, where is the fun in always walking facing forward?" She smiled slightly as she kept walking backwards. Sure she made some sense, but it was more or less from a child's perspective. She felt that life didn't have enough spontaneity, so changing the way you did things sometimes made it more interesting. "When Kyran goes into the town he plans on stopping at you should have him get something for that bruise... So you're not sore all the time"

LaRae's cheeks lit up when he took her hand and didn't let go of it. She again, had not realized she was messing with the bandages. She couldn't really help it; As long as her hands weren't doing something she'd eventually end up messing with them again. She glanced over at him for a second curious as to what she said in her sleep. She wondered if maybe that was what was making him laugh so much earlier. "...So... What was I saying?"

Celestine sighed again, looking at her oddly. "And where is the fun of falling on your tail?" he asked simply. He shook his head slightly and looked off toward the distance for a moment, only glancing back when she mentioned asking Kyran to get something for his side. "...Forget it... He doesn't need to waste his time on me, I'm not going to die." he said simply.

Nanashi looked over to her again, noting the blush on her cheeks before he glanced away again. He thought about what she'd said and sighed softly his ears laying back a little. No need to embarrass her with telling her that she'd said something that she couldn't possibly mean. "...I don't remember." he said simply. Unfortunately, Nanashi was a horrible liar. His face gave him away almost instantly. He remembered alright...and he quite possibly may never forget it.

Aamori put her hands behind her back and laced her fingers while she walked. "I didn't hurt myself so there was no problem" She paused and smirked "Though, I wouldn't expect someone as up tight as you to understand what 'fun' is..." She laughed softly before looking down at her feet. "Oh, and don't worry I'll ask Kyran to get something for you since you're afraid to ask him"

LaRae glanced down at their hands for a moment and then looked back at Nanashi. It was clear by his face that he was lying; He did know what she said. She looked away from him "You're lying Nanashi..." She paused wondering why he'd felt the need to hide it from her. "Did I say something mean?"

Celestine sighed again and gave Aamori a look. "...There isn't a point to 'fun' all it accomplishes is wasting time and energy better spent on something productive... Maybe when you grow out of your childhood you will understand that." He said looking away again. "And I told you to forget it. I'm not afraid to ask him, there's just no point to it. What can you get for a bruise, anyway?"

Nanashi looked over to her again for a moment and shook his head quickly. "N-no... No you didn't say anything mean..." He glanced away, "Just...something you wouldn't have said if you were awake. I doubt it meant anything. Don't worry about it." he tried to tell her. "...I would rather...not repeat it..." He felt his cheeks burning a little and was glad for the dark pigments of his skin. He didn't want to get caught blushing over it.

Aamori just shook her head when she heard what he said. She couldn't believe that he thought having fun was pointless. She looked up at him and quirked her brow slightly. "So, if your doing something that you enjoy... or something that makes you happy... Would you consider that pointless and unproductive? I mean because doing something you enjoy means you're having fun" Her tail flicked from side to side widely, it's tip nearly reaching the height of her elbows as it swung. "And for your information I don't always act like a child..." She stopped herself before continuing on saying something she didn't want to express to anyone else. Only LaRae knew her reasoning and she didn't want anyone else to know, at least not yet. She didn't say anything else about his bruise, she figured she'd ask Kyran to find something for it anyway.

LaRae shifted her eyes back to Nanashi and smiled softly. "How do you know it was something I wouldn't have said if I was awake? Do you really know me that well already?" She paused, thinking for a moment. "If you don't want to repeat it... then was it something that embarrassed you?" She could only imagine what she must have been talking about. It really could have been anything, which only made her want to know even more. Her tail started to sway behind her as she grew more and more curious.

Celestine sighed softly. "...For the most part, yes..." he said simply. "...But then again there are not many things that I do enjoy doing..." He said simply. The only things that he ever enjoyed were playing his little pipe and petting Lani whenever she came down for a visit. Beyond that, he didn't tend to do much, "There is not much that is productive about music... it just keeps me from wanted to rip my hair out sometimes." he said simply. He didn't question her about what she meant about not acting like a child. The only time he'd seen her not acting like she was five was when she was telling him off for wanting nothing to do with her.

Nanashi sighed softly and shook his head again. "...Not really... it would probably embarrass you more." He said simply, "...And I just...know you wouldn't have said it if you were awake..." She had already 'accepted her fate' and told him not to get close to her, why would she say something that would bring him closer to her then what he was already if she didn't want him to be that way? For all he knew she could have been talking about someone else entirely, anyway. He wasn't in her dream to see what was going on.

Aamori grinned "So in a round about way you admit that you do things for fun, which means you do things that are unproductive!" She laughed softly. "Therefor, you have no right to say there is no point to 'fun' because you have fun too; Regardless of whether you want to admit to it or not" She couldn't help but smile, holding back laughter. She was enjoying this, even if he wasn't. "I knew Mr. Uptight knew how to cut loose; Even if it is only to play music"

LaRae sighed heavily and her tail stopped swaying behind her. "You're no fun..." She said quietly. "It's like you have a secret and you're not going to tell me what it is..." Her ears lowered slightly and she looked away from him. She was starting to think she'd never get him to tell her what she said in her sleep. She hated that she couldn't remember her dream, or recall what she said herself. She rarely ever spoke in her sleep around other people so when they knew what she had said it only made her want to know, because she couldn't very well ask herself what was said. She was a little more curious ta-boot because he said it would probably embarrass her; She wasn't even sure she knew of anything that could embarrass her. Well other then a dream like where you wake up in the morning go to school or what-ever and realise your naked... That would definitely embarrass the hell out of her.

Celestine sighed and closed his eyes. 'Why do you have to be so annoying?' he thought as his tail flicked in agitation. He wasn't guarding his thoughts at all for once, so Aamori or anyone else that was 'open' could have heard him for all he knew. Celestine had a bit of a telepathic streak, though he hardly realized it. Sometimes he would day almost exactly what someone was thinking, thinking that it was his own thought, or sometimes he would 'send' his thoughts to someone else without really realizing it at all. "So I like music...it's calming. And just because I have 'fun' as you put it doesn't mean that there is a point to it. There isn't a point to everything that I do." he said simply and then sighed when he realized that could be applied to everyone. "Would you just walk, I don't care if it's backwards, frontwards, or sideways, just stop jabbering..."

Nanashi sighed softly, glancing over to her. He didn't want her to feel bad that she couldn't know...they were her words after all. Finally he caved. "...You asked me not to leave you..." he said quietly, and then after a long pause he added, "...and you said...that you may love me." he said without looking at her. He looked away from her completely, his eyes training on the ground. "...Like I said...you wouldn't have said it if you'd been awake." He didn't think it was possible for anyone to 'love' him. He barely knew the meaning of the word.

Aamori looked slightly puzzled for a moment while she asked herself why those words popped into her own head, they were clearly something that Celestine was thinking. She wondered if he even knew he was 'thinking out loud' for lack of better words. An evil grin started to creep across her face. "So... I'm annoying am I?" She muttered glaring at him. She knew she was being annoying, well... more like pestering. She stopped walking backwards and instead walked up to Celestine, stopping merely an inch or so away from him looking down at him. The grin still plastered on her face. She lifted her hand as if she was going to smack him across the face for the comment and instead brushed his bangs from his face and kissed his forehead. She lingered for a moment before stepping back, her eyes their darker more natural blue color and her voice reverted to it's more adult tone with an echo. "Then I've succeeded" She smiled faintly and turned away from him and started to walk again, being sure not to fall behind from the rest. Since she acted like a child to hide her true self, she was happy to know that she indeed could annoy people with her child-like-persona.

LaRae at first must have looked shocked. She couldn't believe she was so open with her thoughts when she was asleep and dreaming. Sure enough, her dream was slowly coming back to her now at the mention of what she had said. She blushed a bit more now, but lowered her face so that her hair would hide the color. Those words that had come from her mouth while she was asleep were deep heartfelt words and she couldn't believe they fell from her lips so easily. Why couldn't they natural do that when people were awake? She laughed softly. "How do you know I wouldn't have said that to you while I was awake?" Believe it or not, she had feelings for him. They just seemed to click so well, and she was indeed happy that she met him. She wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Sure, she had 'accepted her fate' and everything but that was before she accepted that she could have feelings for him. It was a lot easier to try and write someone off before you fell in love; After words it was nearly impossible. She was torn on the inside, knowing she was going to die and then not wanting to die because of him. She lifted her head slightly, peering out from behind her hair to glance at him for only a moment. "But Nanashi..." She paused peeking out from behind her hair once more. "...I think... I do... l-love you..."

Celestine blinked when she repeated his thought to him. "I didn't say that." he said simply. He knew that he hadn't said it out loud. Damn it...not again... He thought, this time making sure he was the only one hearing himself. When she stopped and walked up to him he paused and then flinched when she raised her hand, turning his head a little to the side as he waited for her palm to connect with his cheek. When he felt his bangs brushed aside his hand shot up to put them back. He had an issue with his scar being visible to people. His hand froze in mid air when she pressed her lips to his forehead and he just stood there. "...!!!" His entire body went ridged, even his tail straightened out as his ears shot up. He opened one emerald eye and stared at her for a moment as she backed up. "UHG!" He scrubbed his arm across his forehead once, "Don't kiss me you demented water snake!!" he snapped at her back.

Nanashi glanced over to her for a moment when she asked how he knew. "...Because... you were the one telling me not to get close to you." he said simply. He looked away again and kept walking, until he heard the next thing she had to say. His ears perked up a little and he looked over at her with his mouth hanging open slightly. He looked like he wanted to say something, but noting came out. He closed his mouth and his eyes darted to the side, and then back to her for a moment before looking elsewhere... they were traveling everywhere but up to meet hers. He started to open his mouth again and then changed his mind as he slowly turned his head away. In a word, he was speechless. He honestly didn't know what to say or how to respond. His ears laid back as he mentally kicked himself, trying to say something, but he had no idea what to even think of saying. He wouldn't even look at her for a few moments but eventually, his grip on her hand tightened considerably.

Aamori turned slightly to look at him, she was still her adult self. She gently placed one hand to her hip and glared at him, her eyes were cold for once. "Demented water snake?" She scoffed. "That's a first." Her tail flicked and snapped on the ground below her in a contained fit of anger. The aura around her body shone icy blue and seemed to explode from her body. Oh how she would have loved to have beat him for that comment, instead she took a deep breath and let it go; For now. The aura around her body then crept back inside and she relaxed a bit. "You should feel blessed that a girl would even let her lips grace that pale flesh of yours; Regardless of her breed"

The hair stood up on Kyran's head when he felt Aamori's aura burst forth in a fit of anger. He turned around just in time to see her relax. He shook his head lightly and walked back a little to Aamori and put his hand on her shoulder. "C'mon you two... enough already." He paused and looked at Celestine for a moment. "You two don't need to be bickering like this; Especially when we're so close to the forest..." He gently removed his hand from Aamori's shoulder and turned around again and started to continue the trek. He turned his head over his shoulder as he walked to say one last thing. "I would say why don't you kiss and make-up... but it looks like one of you would object..." He laughed softly and kept walking.

LaRae wasn't sure what type of reaction to expect from him after saying such words. She sighed softly and her eyes shifted to look at him for a moment and then darted to the ground. "I'm sorry..." She mumbled. She wasn't sure what brought her to say that to him, she meant it of course but couldn't help thinking she shouldn't have said it. Not now anyway, or ever for that matter. When his grip tightened her eyes shifted over to their hands and her eyes lingered there for a moment before she looked back at the ground. "...I didn't mean to make you uneasy..." She paused. "...Forget I said anything" She said quietly. She started to wonder how awkward this trip was going to be now that she'd expressed such strong feelings towards him. How strange was it going to be living with him and the others for at least five months with these feelings; Worse, what if he didn't share them with her. She sighed heavily almost regretting opening her big mouth in the first place.

Celestine shivered slightly when he felt the cold aura, but he didn't seem too threatened by her anger. He was pretty used to getting into fights and arguments, it was girls handing all over him that he didn't know how to handle. "I honestly wish that they wouldn't touch me, regardless of their breed." He spat back as he laid back his ears in agitation. His own tail was swishing about behind him. 'Vengeful gods, why did I get stuck with this?' he thought just before Kyran came over. He looked at him with a mildly annoyed expression before sighing and shaking his head. "...Then why don't you keep her?" he muttered as he started off again. "I have had all of her I can stand."

Hikari looked over toward Aamori and Celestine and then watched Kyran as he tried to make peace. She sighed and shook her head, walking a little faster to catch up to them. She glanced at Aamori and smiled slightly. At lest she could control her temper unlike some people in this group. She caught up to Kyran again finally and walked by him again. "Getting an early start, huh?" she said with a half smile.

Nanashi's ears laid back slightly when she said that she was sorry. He stayed quiet for a few moments and then glanced back to he shyly. "...Don't...apologize.' He said quietly, "...I just... I don't...know what to say." he said quietly, "...No one has said that to me...in really long time." In fact his mother had been the only one to ever tell him that she loved him. He glanced away again, watching the ground. "...I...I...really...like you..." He said quietly. He couldn't quite bring himself to say love. What he felt for LaRae could have probably been defined as love, but he didn't know if that was what it was and was half afraid to say.

Aamori exhaled heavily, her shoulders dropped down and she blinked her eyes a few times. The rich dark blue of her eyes faded to the bright blue as she reverted back to her child-persona. She stuck her tongue out at Celestine and gave him a displeased glare before turning around and walking faster to put some distance between herself and him. Her anger went away pretty quickly and she was already back to her cheery self. She didn't usually get upset like that, but hearing someone call her a water snake seemed to strike a nerve inside her that she didn't know she had.

Nero hadn't been to far off and was just idly watching what was going on. He took notice rather quickly to how that water dragon's personality changed; In fact everything about her seemed to change. Usually she acted like a child, which he thought was annoying but what could you do? But for a brief few moments he noticed her eyes change, her voice and her over all stance. He cocked a brow, struck with curiosity. He couldn't help wondering what she was hiding. He shook his head seeing how quickly she changed back to her usual child-like self. 'How Strange...'. He thought to himself as he watched her but space between her and the boy. Thinking about what Celestine had said to her, he simply shook his head and laughed softly. It was all too clear that Celestine didn't know how to act around women. It was pretty obvious that the boy's own anti-social behaviors had stunted his growth.

Kyran glanced over when he noticed Hikari next to him; He smiled weakly. He hated having to break up a fight this early. Though he knew it was inclined to happen sooner or later. "An early start to what? The fights or the trek?" He sighed softly and returned his hands to his pockets. "I have to say, as long as you and I don't start arguing like half of the others I think I'll survive this journey..." He forced a warmer smile as he looked down at her again.

LaRae hesitated to lift her eyes from the ground, she half felt guilty when she heard he didn't know what to say and then he'd said he liked her. She couldn't help thinking she might have made him feel the need to say something similar to her. She sighed very softly and brought her eyes to their hands for a moment. "...You didn't... have to say anything" She paused and her eyes fell back to the ground. "Just letting me get that off my chest... was good enough" She absently brought her other hand up and started to nervously pick at the wraps around her waist again; She'd played with them so much by now that the fabric was starting to tear in a few places. She felt bad, after telling him everything that she had over the past two days and now to go and express love towards him. How confusing of a person must she appear to be. She sighed again softly; continuing to pick at the fabric at her waist.
