Hikari wasn't all that surprised to hear that Nanashi had agreed to go, though she was a little surprised that he'd gone so easily on the training. She was about to ask Celestine what he looked so down about when he asked them if they should be going to bed soon. She sighed softly and nodded before she glanced back to Kyran, "Yes, that sounds like a good idea," she said simply as she stood up and dusted herself off. She smiled slightly at Celestine and put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't stay up too late yourself, alright?" She waited until she'd gotten a nod from him and then sighed softly before she started to move toward their room again, glancing back briefly to see if Kyran was coming before she continued forward. She guessed it wasn't really anything new to see Celestine looking like something was bothering him, so there wasn't any real need to pester him on it. She probably wouldn't get an answer anyway.
"Mm..." Celestine muttered quietly when Hikari told him not to stay up late. He watched her go and then stood up when she glanced back for Kyran, "Night," he said quietly before he started toward he and Kanone's room to get himself a change of clothes before he went to the baths.
Kyiri's purr grew even louder when Annan started to rub her belly and after a few moments she latching onto his hand with all four paws, careful to keep her claws tucked in, and then began licking his hand like crazy. Apparently she found something that she thought tasted good. When she heard Aamori say that Annan might get to look after her she mewed before she resumed licking his hand. She kind of liked the idea of getting to camp out in the kitchen with the food master.
Nanashi blinked when LaRae leaned down to kiss his cheek and then smiled slightly as he looked back up to her again. "...Thank you," he said quietly before he pushed himself up and stretched a little. "...Anyway...I guess we should get to bed," he said quietly as he stood up and removed his coat before carefully folding it up and taking it to sit on the couch. Once he'd done that he slipped out of his gloves and laid them on the night stand before he flopped back down on the bed again and drew his feet up to hide under the covers. He waited for LaRae to get herself situation before he started to lay down and get comfortable. "...Goodnight," he whispered as he closed his eyes.

Kyran started to follow after Hikari a little before she had glanced back. He looked to Celestine when he heard him say 'night' and responded with a simple "Goodnight." He then started back after Hikari as they headed for their room. He slipped around her like he usually did and went to open the door to their room for her. He held it open until after she had passed through and then headed inside as well, shutting the door behind him. He wasted very little time once he was in the room to remove his vest and get his boots off before he got into the bed and made himself comfortable. "Goodnight, Hikari."
LaRae nodded a little when he said that they should get to bed. Once he had gotten up to remove his coat she shifted enough on the bed that she could crawl over to her side and get herself comfortable and tucked into the bed. After Nanashi had gotten into bed she scooted a little closer to him so that she could nuzzle against him lightly. "...Sleep well." She said quietly while snuggling against him.
Annan laughed softly when Kyiri latched onto his hand and started to lick it. He smiled down at her and then lifted his other hand to rub the top of her head a little since she had his other hand captive. He glanced over to Aamori when he heard her say that she and the others were going to be going out for awhile tomorrow. He didn't mind looking after Kyiri one bit but he knew that Kanu wouldn't be thrilled about it. Oh well, he'd likely get over it with a little time. Not to mention Kyiri was just too cute to hate. "I suppose when you all decide that you're leaving just leave the kitchen door open enough for her to come inside and I'll see to it that she's taken care of until you all return." He said and smiled as he looked back down at Kyiri.
Aamori nodded her head slightly, a bit glad that Annan seemed so into cats. At least this meant they'd have someone who could watch her while they were all gone. She smiled after looking back down at Kyiri. "If you weren't a cook, I doubt she'd be loving on you so much right now." She said with a chuckle. She stepped closer to the counter and started to climb over it making sure there was enough distance between her and where Kyiri and Annan were. Once she was over the counter she looked back over at Annan. "...I'll go ahead and leave the door open for now. I need to probably head to bed and I think she may want to weasel some more out of you with her cuteness." She said before heading for the door. She continued to the door and left it open enough for Kyiri to pass through before she stepped out to the courtyard. She was going to head to bed anyway but seeing that no one else was out in the courtyard she was definitely going to her room. She went across the courtyard and into her room wasting little time getting ready for bed and then snuggled into the covers.

Hikari smiled slightly when Kyran opened the door for her and then nodded to him in thanks as she stepped inside and began removing her boots and her remaining sleeveglove. He put her pass on the night stand where she usually kept it and then crawled into the bed beside Kyran. "Night, Kyran," she responded quietly before she closed her eyes and then snuggled down into the pillows, though she was almost certain to be wrapped around Kyran in the morning; she usually was.
Kyiri mewed again when Aamori said that Annan probably wouldn't be getting this much attention if he wasn't a cook. She just continued to purr and rub all over him, indeed hoping to get something else out of him. She could eat half of the day if people would let her, she was never really full. She watched as Aamori left, though he had every intention of staying in here and pestering Annan until he had to go home; then she'd go find somewhere in the grass to curl up and sleep.
Nanashi smiled slightly to LaRae when she nuzzled against him and then draped his arm over her loosely before he sighed contently and whispered a soft, "You, too," into her ear as he tried to drift off to sleep. He slept easily through the night, only to awaken fairly early the next morning. When he awoke he found that LaRae was still sleeping, so he laid still for a little bit before he slowly started to crawl out of the bed , trying his best not to wake LaRae it in the process. He wanted to go ahead and get ready so he could do whatever it was the others wanted him to do this morning before he just rolled straight out of the bed and got to it. He went to put his coat back on as well as his shoes this time and stretched himself out a good bit.
By the time the sun was up, Celestine was already awake and laying out int he grass in the courtyard. He had taken a bath the night before, though going up on the roof was out of the question. He had decided on a change of clothes that wouldn't be too much of a hassle if they got wet. The shirt was a thin satin-like material that was the same bright emerald green color of his eyes and hugged his body tightly. The front was buttoned down with several pale green button knots that twisted around decoratively on each side of the shirt, mirroring the other side. The shirt was sleeveless, as much as he hated to show off his scrawny arms he had a feeling that the sleeves that went with most of his undershirts would just be int eh way today, so he decided against wearing anything under this shirt. The pants that he wore with it were simple and solid white. Yet again he found himself going barefoot. No need to get his shoes soaked. He was just pretty convinced that he was going to end up stuck around water again later on. He sighed softly as he waited for someone else to get up since he had been out here for a while, well more like all night after he'd gotten half dry. Kanone was still snoring in the middle of the bed, so he just stayed out here with Esen curled up beside him for warmth.

Hisako was a little later than usual getting started this morning but she did finally make it up to the main level. She usually liked to already be up and rolling Aamori out of her bed by the time the sun was rising and here the sun was already up. She glanced into the courtyard briefly while she was walking the hall headed to Aamori's room and spotted Celestine. If not for her needing to wake Aamori she probably would've stopped to say something to him but then again she could talk to him after she woke Aamori up. She paused for a short moment when she reached Aamori's door and then opened it up and stepped inside. She stepped over to the bed and reached out to shake Aamori by her shoulder. "Come on.. time to get up." She said and then shook her head lightly when Aamori rolled away from her. "You've slept plenty long enough, and you got a little more than usual because I was running late..." She muttered while she was jerking the blanket off of her and inadvertently taking her with it since she pulled so hard and hadn't counted on Aamori being wrapped around part of it. When Aamori hit the floor with a thud she just shook her head again. "...You alright?" She asked while tugging the blanket away from her and then tossing it onto the bed.
Aamori groaned after she hit the floor and rolled slightly when she felt the blanket being tugged away from her. She laid there flattened out on the floor for a moment before she finally started to sit up and rub her eyes. She glanced over at Hisako after hearing her question and nodded slightly. "...Yeah. Don't think I hit very hard this time." She mumbled before she started to climb to her feet. She'd been woken this way before, at least a couple times. Which was why Hisako hadn't made such a big deal about her landing on the floor like she did. She rubbed the side of her head a little and looked over to Hisako. She was still a little groggy but she did at least remember she needed to ask about getting out of her training. She stepped over to her closet and pulled one of the doors open to start pulling out her change of clothes and then sighed quietly. "...I'm pretty sure that we're going to look for the relic today." She paused and then shut her closet door since she had everything she needed. "Do you think I can get out of training today?"
Hisako watched as Aamori got to her feet and then wound up pulling her clothes out of her closet. She tilted her head slightly at Aamori's question and then sighed softly. "This is for special thing from the festival right?" She asked and looked over at her. "I guess..." She said quietly, almost reluctantly. "Just make sure you get your bath and everything else before you leave." She told her and then started to head for the door. She had been asked by Lady Levana to just let Aamori go when she brought up anything about going to find the relic so she couldn't very well keep Aamori here for training and then let her go afterward. She exited the room and glanced back briefly when she heard Aamori right behind her. She stepped out of her way and then watched her scurry for the baths. She shook her head a little and then proceeded to head out to the courtyard.
Kyran started to wake up a little after the sun had already risen. As usual he was waking with an extra attachment. He smiled a bit and continued to lay there quietly without bothering to move. After a short while he was thinking that they should probably be getting up, or just him at the very least. "...Hikari?" He paused. "...You awake by any chance?"
LaRae didn't wake at all when Nanashi started moving to get out of the bed. She stirred slightly and once he was clear of the bed she shifted a little and snuggled into part of the bed where he had been. She wasn't really all that tired since she had slept well through the night but she was rather comfortable so waking her when she needed to get up wouldn't be quite as hard as it could be.

Celestine's gaze shifted briefly over to the hallway when he heard footsteps and he sighed when he saw Hisako, though he didn't bother to speak since he already knew that she was going to wake Aamori. He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment as he reached down to stroke Esen's fur gently. He felt Kyiri shift where she had come to lay at his other side and moved his other hand to pet her as well. He opened his eyes again and sighed when he heard someone emerging from Aamori's room and then stretched slightly before he sat up away from the fountain and stood up, stretching out his wings for a moment before he folded them back down against his back and glanced back to Aamori and Hisako as they came back out. "...What was that thud?" he asked simply after Aamori had scurried off.
Hikari groaned softly when Kyran spoke to her and then nuzzled against him. "....Don't want to be..." she muttered under her breath. After a moment she sighed heavily and opened her eyes before she pulled her arm away from him and rolled onto her back before pushing herself up to a sitting position. She sighed and combed her fingers back through her hair a couple of times before she looked over to Kyran and half smiled. "...Sleep well?" she asked quietly as she swung her legs over the side of the bed and stretched out a bit.
Nanashi glanced over to LaRae for a moment and smiled weakly as her before he moved over to the door and opened it as quietly as possible so he could slip out into the hallway. He left his spetum inside since he was hoping to talk them into letting him use the weapons that they trained with here so that it wouldn't be quite as dangerous as if he had something sharp; maybe then he could concentrate on what he was doing and not how badly he was going to hurt someone if he hit them. He started to move toward the courtyard and then paused when he saw Hisako out there with Celestine. He blinked when he saw the large green canine beside Celestine; obviously having missed her last night. How many of those dogs were there? Judging by what he was seeing thus far he was starting to suspect seven. He shook his head and then sighed before he leaned against one of the archways where he would be pretty easily spotted int hat bright red coat. He didn't want to bother them if they were talking, so he'd just wait for someone to tell him what to do.

Hisako paused a bit once she was back in the courtyard and had noticed that Celestine had gotten up from where he'd been laying. She smiled weakly at his question and then shook her head a little. "Um.. well.. that's the result of jerking a blanket away from Aamori." She paused and shook her head again. "She hit the floor." She told him and then sighed quietly. "I think she ends up waking up like that a couple times a month, even if it isn't because I took the blanket from her." Aamori even managed to fall out of her own bed when she got to tossing and turning and that much was probably obvious since she'd even managed to fall out of that chair twice in Marius' house. She happened to glance around a little, unable to miss Nanashi standing where he was with that coat on. She smiled a little and lifted her hand to wave slightly since he was just leaning against the arch. "Good morning."
Kyran smiled softly and shook his his head a little hearing what she muttered under her breath. Once she'd taken her arm back and started sitting up he shifted a little and then started to sit up himself. He glanced over at her when she asked if he'd slept well and then nodded. "Yes, of course." He paused and then moved to swing his legs over the side of the bed so that he could get up. "What about you?" He asked as he stretched and then moved over to the couch to put his boots on. He glanced back over to Hikari while he was lacing up his boots. "I wonder if Nanashi is awake already." He paused and finished with his boots. "...Do you have an suggestion on who should train with him?" He asked. He hadn't put too much thought into it last night and right now, well, he wasn't anymore sure than he was last night.

Hisako's answer brought a half smile to his face before he shook his head a little. "...I figured... I think she woke up laying upside down in Marius' chair at least twice." he said simply, "That house wasn't exactly big enough for everyone bed space wise." He glanced around when he caught her looking and his eyes landed on Nanashi. He was a little surprised to see him up this early and already out here as if waiting for someone. "Hey..." he called casually.
Nanashi's eyes were glued to the ground in front of him and he didn't respond to Hisako's greeting at first, doubting that it was meant for him. Maybe she had Celestine hadn't spoken yet. When he heard Celestine's voice he turned his head slightly, only then realizing that they were both looking at him. His eyes widened slightly when he realized that he must have looked rude not responding to Hisako when she spoke. "O-oh h-hi, er... g-good morning," he said quickly as he stood away from the archway and gave Hisako a slight bow. "I.. I'm sorry, I don't know you were speaking to me." he explained quickly. That woman still made him nervous...
Hikari smiled slightly as she stood up and then sighed, "Yes, I slept fine....I just didn't want to wake up," she said with a soft laugh. She made a face and then shook her head slightly when he asked if she had any suggestion on who should train him. "Well...I wouldn't let Nero any where near that... and Celestine does seem like he could get too rough... I don't know anything about pole arms, I'm strictly long range or hand to hand, and...well Kanone or Aamori are the only two that even know how to use those, aside from Celestine, I believe. Unless you want to do it," she said with a warm smile, "I doubt we could drag Kanone out of bed long enough to train with him."

Hisako shook her head lightly hearing what Celestine had said that he thought Aamori woke up upside down at least twice. That really didn't surprise her. "I don't think it matters what she's sleeping on, she'll still manage to find a way to fall off of it once she's fast asleep." She looked back towards Nanashi when he started to speak and then apologized. She hadn't really thought him rude, she just assumed that maybe he hadn't seen her wave or who she'd directed that 'good morning' to. She shook her head a little. "It's fine." She tired to assure him. She could have easily added his name to the end of what she said and that would've solved everything. "I don't think I've ever seen you up this early, Nanashi." She commented. She'd only really ever seen Celestine up this early and that she assumed was because he usually slept up on the roof and the sun probably woke him when it rose.
Kyran nodded slightly after Hikari had started speaking. He didn't think Nero should be allowed anywhere near Nanashi when training was involved, at least not until everyone was sure that Nanashi could protect himself well enough. Otherwise, Nero would probably be the death of him. He hadn't witnessed Celestine train with him last time and he didn't get to see him and Aamori go at it but based off of what everyone else was saying it would probably be better not to let Celestine train with him unless they kept an eye on him. He sighed quietly after hearing that the only others who knew pole arms were Aamori and Kanone. He had to agree, getting Kanone up and moving so he could train with Nanashi... that sounded next to impossible. Between him and Aamori of course he was leaning towards Aamori. He had no knowledge of pole arms and the only weapons he'd ever trained with where his blades and he didn't need to go using those on Nanashi for training; At least not yet. "....I think...." He paused. "We may.. have to ask Aamori to do it." He said with a slight nod. "I'd do it if I knew how to use a pole arm or something close to that. With my blades... I'm afraid I may scare Nanashi a bit since he hasn't even learned the basics yet." He said honestly. "...Other than Aamori ...there is her trainer." He paused. "Though, I'm not sure she'd be willing to teach someone from the fire clan."

Celestine chuckled softly at Hisako's response, inclined to agree with her. He sighed softly when he saw how fidgety Nanashi was being. He offered him a slightly smile and then shook his head while he was bowing and fumbling with his words. "...I guess you noticed...but he's really shy," he whispered quietly to Hisako. He just hoped to the gods that Nanshi didn't pass out again just from the shock that Hisako was speaking to him. If he could get through the morning he would feel a little bit better about him coming with them...only a little.
Nanashi straightened up once he heard that she wasn't upset that he hadn't noticed and he breathed a heavy sigh of relief before he slowly raised his eyes, though they did not come high enough to reach hers. "...I...I got to bed early....last night," he said quietly in response to her statement. He started to tell her that he was out here to train, but he doubted that she cared. It was Celestine that grabbed his attention next.
"Are you still sure that you want to come with us?" he asked, his voice soft with concern and not really pressuring him either way, or at least he hoped not. Nanashi already knew what he wanted him to do, but doing it was up to him.
He sighed and shook his head as he lowered his eyes again. "...I'm not staying behind anymore," he said quietly, "I'm tired of being useless."
Celestine sighed, "You're not useless..." he muttered softly, though his tone didn't sound as convincing as he would have liked.
Nanashi smile slightly at him and laughed quietly as he wrapped his arms around himself loosely; it was still a little chilly out here for him, or at least he thought that was what the chill was from. "...Marius was right...you are a really terrible liar," he said quietly, sounding half amused.
Celestine blinked and then half smiled and sighed with a shrug. "...Okay, you're not entirely useless?" he tried to correct himself. There was a reason that he was so blunt all of the time; it was so easy to read his expressions most of the time that it was pointless for him to try to lie and sound sincere about it...unless he was trying to look angry. That one always seemed to work. "That's what the training is for," he added simply.
Hikari nodded slightly when he said that it would probably be better to ask Aamori. She agreed for the most part, though the idea of asking her trainer was almost appealing, she discarded ti quickly enough. "I think Aamori would be best. Hisako....trains roughly." she said with a half smile, "I've watched her beat Aamori into the dirt a few times, so I would hate to imagine Nanashi trying to so much of anything against that..." she said with a half smile, "At least I think Aamori would be a little easy on him and give him time to get the feel of what he was doing. She glanced back to him again and smiled slightly, I think he'll get the hang of it pretty fast... Or at least I hope so. He seems the type that can learn fast," she said simply, "Remember how easily he took to pulling that thing apart and then putting it back together after Kanone showed him just the once."

Hisako nodded her head slightly when Celestine told her that Nanashi was shy. She'd gathered that. Since he was in an opposing clans territory she didn't really blame him for being shy or uncomfortable for that matter. She would probably be acting about the same if she was in his territory and was around full fire dragons. That was probably one of the only things that could really bother her; She didn't care for fire dragons. Thankfully though, Nanashi was a bit different. She stood there and listened quietly to Celestine and Nanashi and then tilted her head slightly. "What training?" She asked curiously.
Kyran sighed quietly. "Is it just me or does it seem like the majority of people who can train with Nanashi would beat him to a pulp?" Nero was just way too dangerous; Celestine could be too rough; Hisako would beat him into the ground; Then he was afraid to hurt him with his blades. He didn't think LaRae would bother training him at this point and Hikari had already said she couldn't since pole arms weren't her thing. That left Aamori and she was probably going to be the safest bet all the way around. He didn't think Aamori would do that much damage if she actually hit Nanashi, either. He nodded his head again lightly and then glanced towards the door. "I hope he picks up on everything that fast. It certainly would make things easier." He said as he started to head towards the door and open it. "Well, lets go see if anyone's awake yet."
Aamori finished up in the bath and had gotten dressed in her dress outfit, arm sleeve and all. She shut the door behind her and started to head back to her room. She glanced towards the courtyard on her way and spotted Nanashi out there as well. She didn't bother to stop and say anything just yet, she really needed to get to her room and brush out her hair. She still needed to put her holster on too. Once she reached her room she slipped inside and went straight for her vanity to grab her usual brush and start on her hair.

Nanashi glanced back to Hisako again and started to speak, though he only sighed softly and then closed his eyes. "...I...don't know how to fight," he said quietly. Nor do I have any cares to know... he wanted to add, though of course he kept silent.
Celestine nodded slightly, "...Nanashi didn't even have a weapon when he first started on this trip, so Kanone gave him one of his so he would have something, but he doesn't know how to go much of anything with it other than take it apart and put it back together," he explained, "So we planned to give him a crash course before we leave so he'll have some idea of how to use the thing."
Nanashi looked back to Celestine again and his ears fell back, "We aren't doing to same thing that we did in your back yard are we?" he asked, sounding almost like a whine, "I don't want to cut anyone open again..."
Celestine sighed heavily, "...Are you still upset about that? Vengeful gods, that was like a paper cut, it's fine," he said firmly, pointing to his cheek where he had been cut, "See, nothing there."
Nanashi stared at him for a moment and then sighed heavily, "...What if that had been your neck?" he asked flatly.
Celestine sighed, exasperated, "It wasn't," he said flatly as if that should put an end to it, which it seemed to. "Anyway...no, we're not doing that again. I don't think anyone is going to let me train with you, anyway," he said indifferently.
Nanashi blinked, looking rather surprised. "What, why?" he asked quickly. Obviously, he had been expecting to train with Celestine; now he looked a little uncomfortable.
"Because Kanone and Aamori convinced everyone that I would beat you half to death," he answered, sounding thoroughly annoyed. "Look, don't worry about it, you'll be fine. You'll probably end up with Kyran or Hikari or someone not quite so 'rough.'" He huffed and crossed his arms, "If anyone else ever gets up..."
Hikari sighed softly and shook her head. "It certainly seems that way..." she said with a soft chuckle, "I would probably come close if we were fighting hand-to-hand... I'm too used to Ishta." When he told her to come with him to see if anyone else was awake and shook her head and held up a hand. "Go on, I'll be out in a few minutes. I want to change clothes before we go anywhere; may as well get it over with," she said simply. She smiled before she waved him off toward the door, "Five minutes, tops."

Hisako was a little surprised to hear that Nanashi didn't know how to fight. She'd thought he of all people would at least know how to defend himself since he was a half breed. She glanced over to Celestine when he started to explain about the weapon that Nanashi got. She nodded slightly after hearing that they had planned to give him a crash course. That made sense. She shifted her gaze between the two of them while they talked about what she gathered was Celestine getting cut by Nanashi. She just stood there quietly at least until Celestine mentioned that Aamori and Kanone had convinced everyone that he would beat Nanashi half to death. "I think you're a little too advanced of a fighter for someone who's never fought before, Celestine." She said honestly. "And you did even managed to make Aamori look bad and she's had years of formal training." She added lastly.
Kyran looked back at her for a moment when she told him to go on without her. "Oh.. alright. Take your time." He said with a slight nod before he slipped out into the hall, making sure to pull the door shut tightly behind him. He'd thought briefly about his clothes and made a note not to bother with his vest today; If he'd had another set of clothes than he might have changed as well. He started over to the courtyard to see who all was awake and was pretty surprised to see that even Nanashi was awake this early. He stared over at Nanashi for a moment, having noticed the coat. It looked a lot better completed than it did when he saw it at Sanura's.
Aamori hurried through her hair and then went to grab her holster as she headed back out of her room. She went back out to the courtyard and over to the fountain so that she could get into her holster. This was the new one that she had made for her, it wasn't that different from her old one it was just made sturdier. Once she got it buckled on and made sure that her staff was tucked in place she lifted her eyes to glance around at everyone. "...Everyone was already gone when I came back out here last night ...so... what was decided?" She asked curiously.

Celestine sighed heavily when he heard Hisako and gave her an annoyed glare from he corner of his eye. "And I've had the same number of years of informal training. Formal and has some pattern to it, it's predictable." He shrugged, still not gathering where everyone seemed to think he was so bad, "Yeesh... Do you people think I don't know how to be careful?" He was the smallest and youngest dragon here, he didn't really understand what everyone was so worried about. He was sure of his ability to defend himself against beasts, but he could bet pretty easily that Nero or Kyran could take him down easily, or as much as he hated to admit it, LaRae. LaRae could easily pin him down with those damn roots...if she could catch him, that is.
Nanashi smiled slightly and then chuckled softly at Hisako's response to Celestine, "You are a little wild...your magic is incredible," he said quietly, remembering the spell that he had used on Nerian. Honestly, that was about the only time that he had ever seen Celestine use his magic, but it was enough to impress him. Of course nearly all magic impressed him; LaRae's ability to make things crow, Aamori's ability to form water, the way that Kyran could summon lightning, Hikaris healing, the way Celestine and Kanone could manipulate the wind, Nero's...whatever he was pinning him down with that night. He sighed softly, again half wishing that he could do something like that, though he wasn't too fond of his element. All fire could really do was destroy things and that was the last thing that he wanted to do. He glanced up again when he heard Aamori's voice and then raised his eyes again to sweep the area, a little surprised to see Kyran out as well. "I'm going," he said firmly, his voice full of the same determination that he had used when speaking to LaRae the night before.
Hikari waited for the door to close and then gathered her shorts and other shirt and began stropping out of the shirt and skirt she was in now. She was in the other set of clothes quickly enough and then ran her comb through her hair a little to straighten it out a bit before she stepped out of the room and moved across the hall to the courtyard shortly after Aamori had gotten her question out. She glanced at Nanashi, surprised to see him up as well as in new clothes. They actually looked really nice on him. She shook her head when she found herself comparing his filthy, rugged appearance from when they first met to what he looked like now. He really did clean up nicely. Well, that's good for LaRae at least she thought with a soft chuckle. She was quite content with the way Kyran had cleaned up as well.

Hisako shook her head lightly after listening to Celestine. "I wasn't meaning for that to sound mean or anything." She sighed. "And weren't you the one who said that you only fought for survival?" She asked quietly. She didn't doubt that he knew how to be careful but implementing that she thought might be a little more work than needed compared to letting someone else do the training. She glanced over to Aamori briefly when she heard her speak. She looked at her for a moment and then glanced around, taking notice to everyone else who'd gotten up. She took a head count and then shook her head lightly. "Three late sleepers, I assume?" She asked since she didn't see LaRae, Kanone or Nero. She guessed if they were training Nanashi first then they didn't all need to be awake right now.
Aamori looked over at Nanashi when he gave an answer to her question. She was a little surprised by the why that he said it. Determination wasn't usually something that you heard from him, or at least she was sure that this was the first time that she'd ever heard it. She smiled a little. "I guess that means that you're feeling better?" She asked as she sat down on the edge of the fountain. She was glad that he at least appeared to be feeling better and if he was feeling better than she couldn't really complain about him going with them. After all if he thought he was good enough to go than he must have been.
Kyran continued to stand where he was quietly. He glanced over to Hikari when she came out to the courtyard after changing. "Nice looking coat, isn't it?" He asked as he glanced back towards Nanashi. "Sanura was making that when we were there." He commented quietly.

Celestine sighed softly when he heard Hisako again and then waved his hand, "Yeah yeah, I know, I know," he said simply before he turned his head to look at her. He blinked and looked back to Nanashi again when he heard him comment on his magic. When did he--oh....yeah... He sighed when he realized what Nanashi was referring to and crossed his arms again while looking away. "It's not that impressive..." he said dully, not too fond of the memory of killing that...whatever he was. He hated being forced to kill these guardians, or at least the animal ones that didn't really seem capable of reasoning; he had no idea what the others were like. He glanced over to Aamori when she returned and then looked back to Nanashi again, surprised at his tone when he answered her. Well, he sounded resolved... He sighed softly and then closed his eyes, "Well then I guess you'd better get started then." He turned his gaze turned in the direction of Kyran and Hikari, "Did you ever decide who is doing this?"
Nanashi tilted his head slightly when he realized that what he said about his magic must have bothered Celestine a little. Well, that wasn't what he had intended at all. He half smiled at her comment about the three late sleepers, "...I tried not to wake LaRae."
"You wont roll Kanone out of bed until lunch," Celestine responded with a heavy sigh. "I sleeps like a log."
Nanashi shook his head slightly and then looked at Aamori and nodded a little, "I'm fine," he tried to assure her. He probably could have done with a few more days of rest, but he wasn't going to let himself hold them back anymore, and he was tired of being in bed. He could at least do this much. His gaze turned back over to Kyran and Hikari after Celestine had spoken to them and he sighed softly, waiting patiently for them to decide who got to beat on him today. He knew whoever it was was probably at least going to knock him on his tail a few times; any one of them was better than him.
Hikari glanced back to Kyran briefly when he mentioned the coat and smiled as she nodded. "It is, it looks really good on him. Quite a change from when he first met; he cleans up almost as nicely as you do," she teased quietly. She glanced back to Celestine when he asked them who was going to train with Nanashi. "Well...we hoped Aamori wouldn't mind doing it," she said with a smile directed at Aamori, "Since there is no dragging Kanone out of bed, she's the only other one who knows how to use a pole arm."
Nanashi looked up quickly, "But—" he started and then choked himself off again, that uncomfortable feeling creeping back to his expression once more. He wasn't too fond of the idea of fighting a girl. What if he hit her?

Hisako nodded slightly when Nanashi said that he tired not to wake LaRae and then she looked to Celestine when he said that you won't roll Kanone out of bed until lunch. She was pretty sure that she could wake just about anyone up if she really tired. She shook her head lightly. She shifted her attention a little since Celestine had asked who was decided on for the training. She couldn't see herself training him. Though she doubted she would have even been brought up. She was a little prejudice to be honest and she couldn't bring herself to train anyone from the fire clan. She looked over at Hikari when she answered the question that Celestine had asked. She sighed quietly hearing that they had hoped Aamori would do it. Well, she couldn't very well tell Aamori she couldn't do it. She shrugged it off and then started to clear out of the courtyard and head closer to one of the arches.
Kyran shook his head lightly after hearing Hikari's comment. "If I hadn't lost my coat that time, I'd still be dressed the way I was when we met." He said with a slight nod. He really didn't care that much for dressing nice. He'd much rather be comfortable than take the time to look nice and the only reason he'd bothered to put on nice clothes that one night was to show Hikari that he could dress nice and take some time with his appearance if he really wanted to. He wished now that he had remembered to bring more clothes with him because he was getting a little tired of the black slacks and vest. Not to mention they weren't exactly the best thing to wear when they were fighting these guardians. Oh well, hindsight is twenty twenty.
Aamori was glad to hear Nanashi say that he was fine. That made her feel better about him coming with them. She glanced over at Hikari and Kyran briefly since Celestine had directed his question at them. She was honestly a little surprised to hear Hikari say that they hoped she wouldn't mind doing it. She didn't really have a reason to decline; Though she had thought she was getting a morning off from training. Then again, at least this time it wouldn't be with someone who could beat her to a pulp. She looked over at Nanashi for a moment and then back to Hikari. "I guess I can do it, if Nanashi doesn't mind that is.."

Celestine nodded slightly to Hikari's answer and then glanced over to Aamori to see how she took the request. When she agreed he sighed softly and nodded before moving over to the fountain to pick up Kyiri off of the ground since he had a feeling if she got up and got moving she would probably get stomped on. "Come on, Esen," he said quietly before he started over to stand by the archway next to the one Hisako had made a retreat toward. He glanced back to make sure that Esen was coming and of course found her right on his heels. He sighed softly as he leaned against the archway and then let Kyiri crawl up onto his shoulder where she liked to sit while Esen sat down beside him.
Hikari looked back to Kyran when he mentioned losing his coat and then sighed softly, "Yeah, I know," she said quietly. She really wasn't all that thrilled with being reminded about that, but she didn't say anything about it. She nodded to Aamori when she said that she would do it if Nanashi didn't mind. Upon glancing back to Nanashi she could see that he looked uncomfortable, but she didn't say anything, Hopefully he didn't mind...after all, the options were fairly limited.
Nanashi watched Hisako and Celestine clear the area and then looked back to Aamori again when she said that she would do it if he didn't mind. Well, he did mind, but he didn't really think that he could argue. "...Alright," he said quietly, "...But...I can use one of your training weapons, right?" he asked hopefully. He didn't want to get stuck with his weapon again, even if whatever he had to use was barely even similar. After all, he had managed to nick Celestine, and Celestine had apparently beaten Aamori.

Kyran hadn't really meant to bring up any unwanted memories when he mentioned his coat. He hadn't even given it too much thought, just that he'd lost his favorite coat. Other than that he'd pretty much put aside the fact that he'd been hurt like he was. The only time that he ever remembered it was when he saw the scar on his chest and he didn't really see that all too often, or well, he didn't pay too much attention to it. He glanced over to Nanashi, noticing how uncomfortable he looked. He wasn't really sure what he was so uncomfortable with but if he had to guess it was probably that he was going to be training with Aamori. Maybe he didn't like the idea of going against a girl? He shrugged slightly. He glanced over to Aamori briefly after Nanashi had asked about using one of their training weapons instead. He didn't exactly see a problem with that but then again that was better left to Aamori. He made sure that he was out of the courtyard and beside an archway himself since everyone else had started to clear the area.
Aamori nodded slightly when Nanashi said 'alright' and then started to get to her feet. "Um... I guess you can use one of our weapons if you really wanted to." She paused. "Though... the staffs here aren't likely to be the same size as your spetum. Wouldn't it be better to train with your weapon and get used to the thing than to use just some standard staff?" She asked as she started to reach down to unbuckle her staff from her holster. She didn't really care one way or the other which he used. Though she did think that using the weapon you had was better than some standard pole arm. She'd done all of her training with her staff once it was given to her so she knew her weapon quite well. "If you're going to use one of ours go ahead and get one from the rack." She just hoped that if he did use one of theirs, when actually fighting with his own he remembered that he'd need to compensate for the length of the blades.

Hikari started to move back as well once she realized that everyone else was clearing the area as well. She moved to stand beside Kyran and then sighed softly as she watched. She didn't know why guys seemed to spaz out so much when they had to fight a girl, it wasn't all that bad was it? She just sighed heavily and then leaned back against the wall to wait and see how this turned out.
Nanashi sighed softly when she asked if it wouldn't be better to use his weapon and then shook his head. "Well...Yes it...might be, but..." he sighed, "If my some miracle of physics I did hit you, would you honestly want it to be with something that sharp?" he asked bluntly, "I wouldn't." He shook his head again and smiled weakly before he walked back to the rack. He had a feeling by now that if anyone was wondering it was probably painfully obvious that he wanted nothing to do with even touching Aamori. He had no idea how this was going to work you. Once he got there, he took one of the regular staffs and then glanced back to her again with a heavy sigh. He looked even more uncomfortable now as he glanced over to the weapon and walked closer to Aamori. "...Alright so...um...now what?" he asked as he shifted positions uncomfortably. He had a feeling that all this was going to accomplish was him humiliating himself in front of everyone again.

Aamori took her staff in her hand and held it out from her body slightly, pressing down on the button that extended the staff while he had gone to the weapon rack. Once he'd come back she set her staff at her side for a moment. "I appreciate that you don't want to chance hitting me with something sharp but for the sake of your own training you shouldn't worry so much about that." She paused. "This is the one place where you could injure any one of us and we could receive immediate medical treatment." She shrugged a little. She wasn't exactly sure how to go about this. She'd never had to train anyone before but she guessed she could just do it the way that Hisako had the first time that they got started. At least that seemed easily enough and it didn't take rocket science. "Well... I guess we can start with blocking." She said as she held her staff out horizontally in front of her with both of her hands on the staff. One had at each end, between the end and middle. "Holding the staff like this in front of you is the easiest way to block frontal attacks, of course you'll have to move the staff depending on the height of the attack in order to block it." She explained, though she assumed it should've been obvious. "Don't forget to mind your hands. With pole arms opponents can easily aim to hit your hands..." She commented as she shifted the staff to her left side while keeping her hands in the same place. While moving the staff she turned it so that it was standing as vertical as possible and then returned it to the horizontal position in front of her, then repeated to the right of her body. "Moving the staff to the sides like that, is the easiest way to block incoming attacks on your sides without having to move to face the attack." She added and then released her staff so that she was only holding it in her right hand. "If you've got that... the next step is to see how well you can actually block." She paused. "When you think you're ready, I'll come at you with a little force and randomly attack your front or sides. You're goal would be to successfully block each of my attacks."

Nanashi sighed again softly when Aamori said that he shouldn't worry so much about hurting her. "...I don't want to chance hitting you at all," he muttered under his breath, though Aamori probably would have been the only one able to hear him if anyone could. He didn't mind getting hit so much, though he would rather not, but he hated the idea of striking anyone else. He had just taken the phrase 'turn the other cheek' to heart. When she finally got around to explaining to him how to block he watched her closely and listened carefully, nodding occasionally to let her know that he understood. This of course was all rather obvious to him, but he listened politely and let her demonstrate as she wished. When she said that next would be actually trying it, he swallowed hard and his ears fell back a little but he nodded. Finally he held the staff the way that she had showed him before and then nodded to her as he widened his stance a bit so that he wouldn't lose his balance from the force of the hit. "...Okay," he said quietly as he eyed her, waiting for her to move. He was at least going to make a good attempt at this.

Aamori signed quietly having heard what Nanashi muttered under his breath. "Nanashi, I assure you... I'm going to do everything in my power to avoid being hit by you. So stop worrying about it." She paused. "And if you hit me, you hit me. It isn't the end of the world, I promise." She told him as she shifted slightly and repositioned her hands on her staff. After he said 'okay' she inched a little closer and then went at him with a series of five attacks. The first a swing for his left side, then his right. The third a low frontal, then a high frontal and finally another swing for his right side. She made sure to only put a little pressure behind each attack so if he didn't block one it wouldn't hurt him that much. She also spaced the attacks decently and she didn't go all that fast with them so he should've had plenty of time to shift between his blocks.

Nanashi sighed softly to himself when she told him to stop worrying about it. Well, if only it was that easy. He had never even purposefully tried to hit a girl in his life, ever. Well, he'd never purposefully tried to hit anyone, but especially not a girl. When she finally went for the attacks he moved quickly to block the attack from the side, though he still cringed when the staffs collided with one another as if he thought hers was somehow going to magically go through his and smack him in the face. He had quick reflexes, but also was so used to being hit and not really doing much about it that whenever he caught sight of something swinging at him he flinched. He opened his eyes barely in time to catch the attack from the other side, and then the one from the lower front managed to crush a few of his fingers, He sucked in his breath and almost dropped the staff, but forced himself to tighten his grip and raise the staff over his head to block the next attack. The last one was a little easier to block this time since he could tell that she was going for the right by the way that she moved; he had been watching her as she came at him the first time, he he recognized generally what she was doing. After the last attack he kept his eyes on her as if expecting her to come at him again but since he'd caught a bit of a break he glanced at his aching fingers. If his skin hadn't been so dark the area probably would be have been red, but thanks to his skin tone there was no evidence that he'd even been hit...well other than the pain, but no one could really see that. He didn't bother to complain as it could have been a lot worse.

Aamori was glad to see that for the most part Nanashi had managed to block each attack with the exception of a few crushed fingers. That was bound to happen sooner or later and at least he didn't drop the staff like she did the first time Hisako hit her fingers. She did give him a bit of a break before she went at him again. This time she didn't give very much warning so if he wasn't looking she probably could've caught him off guard. She aimed for a low frontal first this time since that had been what caught his fingers last time. She followed that by a more forceful swing to his right side. Then she pulled back and shifted like she was going to attack high and quickly dropped her staff to swing in at his right side once again followed by a faster change to go at his left side. Then finally she jabbed the end of her staff straight for his midsection.

Nanashi had only just looked away from his fingers when he caught Aamori moving out of his peripheral vision and his eyes quickly snapped back to where they should be as he moved back while blocking her oncoming attack, though she only narrowly missed his fingers again. Again he quickly shifted the staff to the side to block the right attack, though the added force caught him off guard and knocked him a little off balance. At least this time he managed not to fall on his butt like he had at Celestine's house. When she looked like she was going to attack from above he shifted, though by the time he realized that she was going for his side he didn't have time to get the staff all the way over there. He yelped when the staff crashed into his side and then stumbled slightly but thrust the staff to the left to keep from getting hit again, thought he jab to the midsection completely blind sided him and he fell to his knees coughing after that hit. He only allowed himself a few seconds to catch his breath before he stood up again, still holding the staff in a defensive position. It was clear by the way that he had his his eyes narrowed a little that he was still hurting, but he wasn't about to take that laying down. After all, he couldn't exactly call 'time-out' if he got a bruise in a real fight, now could he? He really wanted to rub his gut where he'd gotten hit, as well as his side, but he tried to ignore it for now. He had a feeling it was going to get worse before it got better.
