Nobu finally pried his eyes away from the floor and tried his best to keep from wanting to pounce at the moving fish. He didn't usually play very much but he just couldn't resist the urge to try and scare the fish away. Though, the fish seemed wise to the glass like floor that divided them and they weren't flinching away as often as he'd hoped. He watched for a brief moment as it seemed everyone else was already on the stairs and heading up. He was a little surprised that Nero of all people was the one who called him. At any rate, he pulled himself away from the see through floor and started over to the stairs. He eyed them for a moment, noticing how steep they were. Regardless, he started up them after the others. He was being careful and it was probably obvious because he was paying very close attention to where he was stepping. At a normal walking pace he'd surely be able to make it to the top before the others, mostly because he was taking the stairs more than one at a time.
Nero waited at the bottom of the stairs for Nobu, no real reason for doing so. Once Nobu started up the stairs just shy of him he started up himself. He didn't care too much for large flights of stairs. They were just annoying as could be, perhaps because it was just a repetitive motion. He was at least kind of glad that the fish tank like wall beside him was something out of the ordinary to look at as compared to staring at Hikari's backside the whole way up.
LaRae glanced over to Nanashi and smiled slightly. "I'd hope it didn't still look like a fish." She paused. "Fish tastes better when it's been cleaned and cooked properly." She commented as she continued up the stairs. She'd never gone and caught fish herself but she didn't think that it would be all that hard to do. It did seem simple enough anyway.
Aamori glanced over the railing briefly after hearing Nero. She continued up the stairs but kept glancing for Nobu until she saw him head for the stairs. It wasn't until everyone was following her that she felt like she was taking these stairs incredibly too slow. She knew that she was going slow because she was trying to be cautious but she was starting to get a little more confident with each successful step she took. On top of that she didn't want to be so slow that it bothered anyone else. She started to change her pace slightly, taking the steps a little quicker with each step. Since her pace was steadily increasing her hand didn't spend quiet as much time tightened to the railing as it had before. Taking the steps faster probably wasn't the brightest idea in the world considering her clumsiness. She managed to keep the faster pace for a decent enough distance. She lifted her foot to step down on the next step and caught the every edge of the stair as she applied her weight which caused her foot to slip right off the step, leading her to fall up the stairs and smack right against the steps. When she hit the steps she let out a quiet pained cry since her face wasn't even spared in the fall.

Celestine was at least relieved when Aamori started to speed up a little. He really didn't like moving that slow since he really wanted to just get out of here. He kept pace right behind her easily, barely holding to the rail as he mounted the stairs, though he grabbed onto it absently as he jerked himself to a stop to avoid stepping on Aamori when she fell. He cringed slightly when he heard her yelp and then sighed and moved around her and up a couple of steps to kneel beside her. "Are you alright?" he asked quietly as he placed his hand on her back lightly. He knew that had to have hurt considering how she'd landed, even he probably would have whined a little at that one.
Kanone almost bumped into Celestine when he stopped so suddenly and then his ears laid back a little when he heard Aamori yelp. He was about to move forward when Celestine went around her and knelt to check on her. He sighed and just stood patiently while waiting for her to get up, "You didn't bust anything did you?"
Nanashi just smiled slightly. "I guess so... I don't get to eat it often, it wasn't a very popular dish in Cináed, for obvious reasons..." he said with a weak laugh. He blinked when everyone came to a stop and paused on the steps, looking up at Kyran. "What happened?" he asked, almost nervously. He couldn't see through him so he wasn't quite sure why they'd stopped.
Hikari came to a stop behind Nanashi and then tilted her head. She tried to peek around him, but LaRae was obstructing the view a little and she still couldn't really see much up ahead. She was about to ask why they'd stopped, but Nanashi had already asked something that would...probably give about the same answer, so she just listened for it.

Kyran sighed quietly seeing what had been the cause for everyone's sudden stop. He somehow wasn't that surprised to see Aamori had fallen, but thankfully she hadn't fallen backwards and down the stairs. He looked back a little at Nanashi when he heard him ask what happened. "Um.. well.. Aamori fell." He answered as he glanced back towards her to see if she was alright.
LaRae nodded slightly when she heard Nanashi say that he didn't eat fish often. She'd never been to Cináed but she guessed that it made sense there not being an abundance of fish in such a territory. She was a bit curious once everyone had come to a stop. She was certain they weren't at the top yet so she wondered what had happened. She glanced over to Nanashi and then to Kyran since Nanashi had asked what she was thinking about asking herself. When she heard what Kyran said, about Aamori falling she shook her head a little. Leave it to her to be the one who fell while climbing stairs.
Aamori didn't move right away, she just continued to lay there quietly. After a few moments she inhaled deeply and started to push herself up a little. Her face was undoubtedly reddened where she'd collided with the steps and she was thoroughly embarrassed, especially since she knew everyone had to have stopped since she fell. She lifted her hand and grabbed hold of the railing. "...Yeah." She paused. "I think I'm alright..." She glanced over at Celestine briefly and then looked away while she got back on her feet. Yeah... she was embarrassed beyond belief. If she was lucky her embarrassment made her face red so no one would see where she'd actually hit the stairs. She lifted her other hand and gently started feeling the bridge of her nose. Of course she'd hit that as well. She winced momentarily and then gave a heavy sigh. "...I don't think anything's busted." She muttered quietly. For all she knew she could've busted her nose on the step and she wouldn't be able to tell. It hurt and that was about all she knew. She stood there for a moment longer and then started to head up the stairs again, at the slower pace since she didn't want to go and fall again.

Nanashi tilted his head slightly when Kyran said that Aamori had fallen. "Is she alright?" he asked, sounding a little concerned. He was glad that she hadn't fallen down the stairs, but he knew that still probably hurt her to fall on the stairs at all. After all they weren't exactly even and it hurt to have those corners jab into you. He'd fallen on enough steps to know.
Hikari sighed softly when she heard that Aamori had fallen and then shook her head. She wasn't entirely surprised. After all, Aamori couldn't even manage the stairs at the training building without falling. She was used to climbing up and down flights of stairs nearly every day, in heels no less, so she wasn't having any trouble with them.
Celestine stood up with Aamori when she got up and sighed softly, shaking his head. He knew she was embarrassed about falling, that much showed on her face. "Be more careful..." he said quietly. He took up the space beside her when she started walking again and just kept pace with her so that if she tripped again he could hopefully stop her from hitting the steps. He was glad she'd at least slowed down again, that meant that it was a little less likely to happen.
Kanone smiled slightly and then sighed, "That's good..."he said quietly, "As long as you're not bleeding, I guess you'll live." he said with a soft chuckle, "But you may want to keep your hand on that rail." he pointed out as he started up behind her again.

Kyran glanced back to Nanashi once again when he heard that he'd asked another question. He nodded his head slightly. "I believe so." He answered before he noticed that she was on her feet again and had started up the stairs once more. Well, if she had really hurt herself badly they probably wouldn't be moving again so soon.
Aamori nodded weakly in response to Celestine telling her to be more careful. She kept her hand tightened to the railing as she continued up the stairs. She didn't really need Kanone pointing out that she should keep her hand on the railing, she knew that well enough. She absently lifted her free hand to her face and touched the bridge of her nose once more. She grumbled quietly because it still hurt to the touch. She sighed quietly and kept climbing the stairs. It didn't take too much longer for the top of the stairs to finally become visible. As she approached the last of the steps she was able to see the floor that they'd be standing on next. The stairs opened up into a fairly well sized open room. There were only four tall and slender windows in the cardinal directions. Other than the windows there wasn't anything all that special about the room. Plain stone floor, dank stone walls that curved slightly until they reached the apex of the spire. The railing for the stairs came to a stop just shy of the floor they opened up to. The wall that was filled with water followed past where the stairs ended. It didn't last for very long, merely three or four feet into the top room and along the bottom of the wall rather than in the middle. After she climbed the last step she took a couple steps from the staircase and glanced around the room a little. It didn't take her that long to scan the room and realize that there wasn't anything in the room that even resembled a relic. There was a waist level pillar in the room that looked important, but for other reasons clearly since it looked more mechanical than anything.

Nanashi sighed softly and nodded again to Kyran when he said that she was alright. Well that was a relief at least. Once Kyran started going again he began moving as well, though his eyes kept going back to the fish in the wall. It was hard not to look at that.
Celestine remained quiet as they climbed to the top of the stairs, though upon entering the other room, he definitely didn't feel much better about being in here, especially since the ceiling had gotten closer. He looked at the pillar and then shifted over to stand beside Aamori again to clear the stairs. "...Wrong spire, I guess..." he said quietly. He looked over to her again and then glanced toward the window. Well...at least the ability to be able to see outside here helped the claustrophobia a tad...but only a tad.
Kanone looked around once they'd reached the top of the stairs again and then sighed softly. "...All those stairs for nothing?" he groaned quietly. "Oh that's just grand..." He was silently for a moment and then looked at Aamori, "Wait...does that mean we have to do this all over again?"

Kyran continued up the stairs until they ended and opened up onto the top floor of the spire. He glanced around a little while he moved away from the steps. He couldn't help but let his eyes wander up to the ceiling where the walls all came to a point. It didn't take him very long to examine the rest of the room and find himself closer to that mechanical looking pillar. Somehow... this seemed a really elaborate building to house a single pillar. It didn't have to make sense though, he supposed.
LaRae was glad to have heard that Aamori was okay. The last thing any of them needed was to go getting beat up by the stairs before they even found the relic. She looked around a little as soon as her head had cleared the opening into the room at the top of the stairs. She was a little surprised to see, well, so little in the room. She had expected this to be the tower... spire... whatever. She was a little curious just how many of these they'd have to go through until they found the right one.
Aamori sighed quietly. "...Looks that way..." She mumbled in response to what Celestine had said. She glanced over to Kanone when she heard him and then nodded weakly. "...Unfortunately." She paused. "...Since there are four of these spires total, I wasn't certain which one was going to be the right one..." She said as she looked away from him and glanced around a little again. If it there was no possible threat then she'd be more than willing to trek all of the stairs by herself just on the off chance that there was nothing at the top. That wasn't exactly true either, she'd be alright with climbing the stairs by herself either way. Especially if no one else wanted to do it. She glanced back over at Kanone briefly. "...You know you don't have to do this, you could just go back to the training building." She told him. Any one of them could do that actually.

Nanashi sighed softly once they'd finally reached the top of the stairs and looked around for a few seconds as he stepped further into the room so that the others could get in. Apparently there wasn't too much to get in for... He looked up at the ceiling and then down to the pillar where it connected with the floor. He moved a little closer to look at it and then tilted his head slightly as if trying to analyze how it worked by staring at it. He knew that these towers had to have something to do with the fog, mostly since he'd heard it said, but probably could have gathered that anyway considering their location and the way that the fog left didn't engulf them. He knew even without being told that the fog was fake considering that no natural fog would space itself out so perfectly to lead to one of these spires. Most fog clung to the water, not left space above it and grew thicker as it went up. After a moment he shook his head and then glanced back again as Hikari entered the room and moved out of Nero's way.
Kanone sighed heavily when she said that they'd have to go to at most three other spires. Three wasn't a very big number but it was when it meant going back and forth like this several times. When she said that he didn't have to do this he raised an eyebrow. "Since when? I can't very well keep an eye on him front he training building," he said as he pointed with a thumb to Celestine. "Besides, where's the adventure in that?"
Celestine rolled his eyes slightly at Kanone's comment and then glanced over to Aamori. "...Next time we all really don't need to come up... If you don't feel anything different then we're more than likely at the wrong place," he said simply.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean she'll probably feel something the closer we get... Kyran's hair was practically standing on end with static by the time we got to his relic and my ears were ringing so loudly I could barely hear anything else."
"Geez, why didn't you say that before we got all the way up here?" he said with a sigh.
"Is it my job to point out everything? Pardon me for having other things on my mind," he snapped. Obviously, sticking him in a closed in space really wasn't helping his sour mood a bit. "Anyway, there's nothing here, can we leave now?" he asked as he looked back to Aamori again, his eyes adind an almost pitiful 'please' to the end.

Nero had climbed the stairs behind Hikari the whole way, casting glances between her backside and the wall with fish in it. When they neared the top of the stairs and he caught wind of the relic not being here and the talk of leaving he stopped where he was on the stairs and turned around without saying a word to anyone then started back down. No point in even getting to the top of the stairs and into that room if he was going to just have to turn around and follow after them all again. It was so much easier to just excuse himself now and be the first down rather than dawdle behind them. He took his own pace headed back down so he was making great time. He kept eying just over the railing judging how far he was from the bottom floor. When he was sure of himself he put his hand firmly on the railing and tossed his legs over, letting himself drop down to the bottom floor. When he hit the floor he landed in a crouch and then stood up straight and stared back up through the center of the stairs, curious at how long that was going to take the rest of them. Especially since half of them if not all of them were talkers.
Nobu had kept himself just shy of Hikari most of the way up the stairs so of course he reached the top moments after she had. He glanced back briefly when he noticed that Nero had already turned around and was headed back down. He looked around the room briefly having gathered that they weren't staying. Like Nero he didn't want to be caught behind everyone, especially since he could take these stairs a lot faster with his legs than they could. Four long legs did kind of beat out two. He stayed at the top only long enough to turn himself around and then he started down the steep stairs rather quickly while following close to the wall just in case anyone needed to pass him.
Aamori looked over at Kanone after hearing him and shook her head a little. Celestine didn't seem to have any trouble taking care of himself, though she couldn't or wouldn't rather bother arguing that with Kanone. If he wanted to keep an eye on Celestine she didn't really have any room to tell him he couldn't. There also wasn't anything written anywhere that said others couldn't come with them. She glanced over to Celestine when he spoke and listened while he and Kanone went back and forth briefly. She was about at the same thought as Kanone after being reminded of Kyran's hair and then what Celestine had felt. The thought had never occurred to her and apparently it didn't occur to Kyran or Celestine, either. The whole trek up here, smashing her face into the stairs and hurting her nose... was all a waste. A complete waste. All because she hadn't been reminded of what happened with Kyran and Celestine. She sighed heavily after catching Celestine's eyes. "Yes. We can leave." She told him since he seemed the most eager to get out of here. Since they were going to be headed back down she figured that she'd just go last this time, at least that way she wasn't holding everyone up. "Go ahead and start down." She said as she absently lifted her hand to touch her nose again, which by now was already starting to swell a little and bruise.
Kyran looked over at Celestine when he heard him mention the way his hair stood up because of the static when they got to the thunder relic. "...Thanks for the reminder." He said as he shook his head a little. That was certainly one of the things he wouldn't have minded forgetting. He knew he had to look pretty funny with all his hair on end. He was embarrassed enough when his hair fluffed out so standing on end was slightly worse. He sighed quietly. He hadn't remembered to say something about the little 'off' feelings for lack of better words. Had he remembered he probably could have kept everyone from having to walk all the way up here. Oh well. Aamori knew now, which was going to save some trouble with the other spires.

Celestine gave Kyran a bit of a look when he said 'thanks for reminding him. "Next time I just wont say anything," he said irritably before he turned for the door. He didn't know why they couldn't just say 'oh okay' instead of getting onto him for not reminded them sooner like it was the top thing on his mind right now. Obviously Kyran hadn't even thought about it.
Kanone sighed heavily and shook his head. "Don't snap at Kyran just because you're having a panic attack, alright?"
"SHUT UP, KANONE!!!" he snapped at him in their native language as he whirled back around to glare daggers at him. One probably wouldn't even need to know his language to know what he'd just said, his tone of voice pretty much said enough. He turned back around and left the room quickly, taking the stairs three and four at a time as he practically glided down them, barely touching one before he was off of it again. He ran right past Nobu easily and then started straight for the exit as soon as he came to the ground floor again. He cast a glance over to Nero, but didn't say a word before he just disappeared out the door again. Once outside he took a few deep breaths as he leaned against the outer wall and then closed his eyes. He wasn't trying to be an ass, really, even though he knew it appeared that way. He just really didn't handle certain things very well and water and closed in spaces happened to be two of them so...closed in spaces surrounded by water, really didn't sit well with him at all. He was only really trying to be helpful and could have done without the comments from Kanone or Kyran for that matter, so after that he could have just as well not said anything at all and left feeling better. On top of that... he didn't really like anyone knowing that things bothered him, so he was agitated with Kanone yet again for pointing out the not so entirely obvious.
Kanone just blinked when Celestine yelled at him and then sighed softly and rubbed his ear. "I really want to kick him when he gets like this..." he muttered as he started for the door himself, though he stayed at an even enough pace and definitely wasn't about to try running. He hadn't been trying to annoy him that time, he was just telling him to stop snapping at people for no good reason. Kyran hadn't even really been directing that at Celestine as far as he could tell, he was just embarrassed about behind reminded about his hair. Though he had to admit that mental image was pretty damn amusing.
Hikari stared at Celestine when he shouted and then watched him go bolting down the stairs. She shook her head and then watched Kanone go before she sighed. "What was that about?" she muttered quietly to herself.
Nanashi turned around to look after Celestine when he shouted and then sighed heavily as he shook his head. He glanced at Hikari when he heard her and then sighed. "I think he just told Kanone to shut up again," he said simply. He'd only been half listening, but that's what it sounded like to him at least.
"I figured as much..." She shook her head and then started for the door again, "Well, I'll meet you at the bottom." she said simply as she started out.

Nero just stood where he had landed when he jumped and waited for the others to come down. He looked over at Celestine when he'd noticed him coming down the stairs so quickly and watched as he headed out the door. Not very much longer after Celestine had left the spire, Nobu came down the stairs and then headed outside as well. He glanced back up at the stairs for a moment and then stepped away from where he was standing to go stand near the door. He stayed inside but pressed his back against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest.
Kyran stared over at Celestine when he responded so irritably. He hadn't meant for what he said to be taken the way Celestine had taken it. He sighed after Celestine finally was finished and left the room. He was starting to think that Aamori mentioned staying at the training building to the wrong wind dragon. Celestine clearly was more bothered by the building than Kanone was and all Kanone had really griped about was having to redo everything that they'd already done. He started over to the stairs after Hikari had started down and started after her. He couldn't help thinking that Celestine was overreacting to some of this stuff. So what if they knew he was claustrophobic, or didn't like water. It wasn't like any of them were holding that against him or even commenting on it for that matter. Everyone seemed like they were keeping it to themselves, which was how it should be.
LaRae just kept quiet through everything that Celestine had said, even the part she didn't understand. She knew better than to open her mouth when he was like that. Thankfully she didn't really have anything to say, not even a comment. She watched as everyone started to filter out of the room. She glanced over to Nanashi for a moment and then looked over at Aamori, a little surprised to see that she didn't have someone attached to her for once. She sighed quietly and then headed for the stairs herself. "We shouldn't keep them waiting." She commented as she stepped down onto the stairs. The sooner they all got down stairs the better and then the sooner they could get going to the next spire.
Aamori stared blankly at Celestine when he snapped at Kanone. She couldn't understand a word he'd said, but she was pretty sure she could guess what he said easily enough. Hearing Nanashi say what he thought was said... that... didn't surprise her. Celestine seemed to tell Kanone to shut up, a lot. She watched quietly while the rest of them filtered out of the room and then waited for Nanashi to head down before she'd even step closer to the stairs. Why didn't building's like this come with a faster, safer way down? She was already hating the idea of going down those stairs. If she was lucky, maybe they'd already be getting ready to fly back through the opening by the time she got down stairs.

Celestine opened his eyes after a few moments and glanced down to Nobu when he'd noticed him come outside. He just sighed again and then blinked when he felt something nudge against his hand and looked down to see Esen. "...It's fine..." he said quietly, "...I'm probably about as claustrophobic as you are..." he said as he stroked her head once. He looked back to Nobu again and then finally decided to just crouch down while he waited for the others. His legs were almost tired after climbing all of those stairs, or at least after a few days of very little use they were.
Kanone didn't take too long to get back down the stairs again once he got started. he kept a hand on the rail all the way down until the last few steps, which he just jumped off of. He looked at Nero and then glanced around before he smiled slightly, "Celestine already make a run for it?" he asked as he moved a little closer to the door, though he looked back to see Hikari and Kyran not too far behind him. Once Hikari had reached the bottom he just smiled at her as she came over to stand near them.
Nanashi glanced back to the pillar again before he heard LaRae and nodded, coming after her quickly, though once he hit the steps he only walked down to the fourth one before he stopped. "Go ahead," he said softly as he motioned back toward Aamori, "I want to make sure that she doesn't fall down the stairs," he told her in her native language so that if Aamori was in hearing range she wouldn't know what he was saying. He didn't want her to think that he thought she was clumsy, but since she had fallen going up the stairs, it was likely that she had a better chance of falling on the way down, and that would be a lot more painful and hazardous considering that the only direction she could possibly go was down. He smiled at LaRae and then motioned for her to go on before he glanced back to wait for Aamori to catch up. He just stood there with no apparent intention to move until she was close enough that he could almost touch her, then he moved to the other side of the stairs so that she could walk beside him rather than behind him where she could possibly shove him down the steps in the process if she fell.

Nobu looked over at Celestine briefly after he'd come outside. He sat down in the sand where he'd stopped so he could wait for the others. He glanced over at Esen and Celestine when he heard what Celestine had said. He guessed that Esen was more claustrophobic than Celestine, mostly because she had the smarts to stay out of the building in the first place.
Nero lifted his eyes and looked over at Kanone after he'd jumped from the last few steps. He nodded slightly after hearing his question. "Like his life depended on it." He commented quietly and then started watching the others. After Hikari and Kyran got down from the stairs that meant they were only waiting on three others and then they could leave and head to the next spire.
LaRae paused and looked back at Nanashi when he told her to go ahead. She wasn't sure that she'd ever get used to the fact that he could speak to her in her native tongue. That was still pretty weird, in a good way at least. She smiled a little and nodded her head. "Alright." She responded simply and then proceeded to continue down the stairs. Since she wasn't waiting on anyone she went ahead and descended them a little more quickly than she would have otherwise.
Aamori was a little surprised that Nanashi hadn't gone down right behind LaRae. She had kind of expected to be making the trip down by herself since neither Celestine or Kanone had stayed behind. She glanced over at him briefly once he had moved to the side and she could continue down. She kept her hand to the railing while she started down. She moved quite a bit slower than the others had since she was trying to be as careful as possible. After she'd made it about half way down she glanced back to Nanashi for a moment. "...You don't have to walk with me." She told him before she started down again.

Celestine reached over after a few moments to comb his fingers through Nobu's fur gently. At least he'd calmed down a lot now that he was back in the open and...well in spite of the face that he was still surrounded by water there weren't fish swimming above his head. He sighed quietly until he felt Esen's tongue against his cheek, then he smiled and leaned away from her. "Stop that, I'm probably going to get wet enough later," he said quietly as he wiped off his cheek and then reached up with his other hand to pet Esen a little while his other hand still rested on Nobu's shoulder.
Kanone snickered quietly when Nero said that he'd already ran out like his life depended on it. "His sanity might have," he said with a soft laugh, "Oh well... Now that he feels like he can breathe maybe he'll calm down." He crossed his arms and glanced back to the stairs again to wait on everyone else.
Nanashi looked over to Aamori when she told him that he didn't have to walk beside her. He smiled at her and shook his head a little. "...I know," he said quietly, "I thought someone should wait....just in case you slipped. This is a really long fall," he said quietly "I don't mind, really," he tried to assure her as he continued down the steps. "I'm sure if you fell from here you would hurt a lot more than your nose..." He glanced over to her again, "...Once we get a chance...you should put some ice on that... It's already starting to look bad..."

Kyran shook his head lightly. "At least until we have to go into another one of these spires." He responded when Kanone had said that maybe Celestine would calm down. With the way Celestine's mood had gotten just from being stuck in this building he really didn't look forward to running into the guardian in such a confined place.
LaRae continued down the stairs until she reached the bottom. Once she was down she turned around and glanced up the stairs for a moment before she started to move over near the others. She really hoped that Aamori made it down the stairs without any trouble and that she didn't end up taking Nanashi with her if she did happen to fall.
Aamori glanced over at Nanashi again momentarily after he had said he didn't mind. She had guessed that was probably why he was going down the stairs with her rather than with LaRae. She continued down the stairs while keeping a pretty good grip on the railing. When he made mention of putting ice on her nose she absently took both of her hands to touch her nose. No one had pointed it out to her before now so she had no idea how her nose was looking. With both hands touching the sides of her nose she could at least tell that it was swollen now. She couldn't help but be embarrassed now. She guessed that she was probably going to look funny with her nose swollen, and likely different colors. On top of that there wasn't exactly a way to hide her nose. So she'd just have to put up with it. She started to look back over at him while in the process of trying to put her hand back on the railing. "...Is it really ...that ba--?" She cut short when she felt her foot miss the next step and she started to fall. Of course she grabbed for the railing and her hand held it for a moment before her fingers slid right off of it. She managed to at least keep herself from tumbling forward down the stairs, instead she fell on her tail and started sliding down the stairs.

Kanone looked back to Kyran and sighed heavily, "Yeah....good point." he said simply. He shook his head and then sighed and grossed his arms, "But then who wants to be the one to tell him to stay outside?" He laughed weakly. He shook his head, "I don't know what his deal is, he's always been like that, but he'll deny it until he's blue in the face." He shrugged, "Guess it's just one of those things you've gotta learn to put up with."
Nanashi glanced over to Aamori when she removed her hands from the rail to check her nose, and wanted to tell her to put her hands back, but wound up not saying anything. He immediately regretted that when she missed the step and started to fall, he quickly dashed down the step ahead of her and prepared to catch her, though he was taken a little by surprise when she fell back instead of forward. He was glad she'd saved herself that at least, but when she started sliding down the steps he grabbed her around the middle with one arm while clinging tightly to the railing with his other hand. He was at least fairly well balanced anyway. He held onto her tightly for a moment until he was sure he had his balance and then let go of the railing to make sure that Aamori wasn't going anywhere. "Are you alright?" he asked quickly, looking concerned again. "...Be careful..." he breathed as he shook his head. "...Don't worry so much about how your nose looks that you hurt something else worse," he said gently, "I don't think it's worth it... really it isn't that bad..." he said softly. He waited long enough for her to give him an answer and then stood up and held his hand out to her while taking a hold of the railing with his other hand. He had a feeling everyone was probably getting impatient.

Kyran shifted slightly and looked back at Kanone. "Do you think it's easy to admit something that weakens you and be accepting of it." That wasn't a question. He knew well enough that no one liked to admit they were afraid of something or give away their weaknesses. It was embarrassing and in Celestine's case he couldn't exactly keep everyone from finding out about his claustrophobia. It was easily enough to read even without Kanone's additional voice about it. "...I'm sure anyone could tell him to stay outside but I doubt that anyone could convince him to actually do it." He said with a quiet sigh.
Aamori startled when she started sliding down the stairs and immediately shut her eyes tightly, expecting to go a lot further down the stairs than she had. She cracked her eyes open and looked up at Nanashi since he'd clearly been the reason that she hadn't gone any further. She sighed, a bit relieved. "...Yeah ...I think I'm alright." She answered. Right now all she could tell was that her rear was sore from hitting the steps, other than that she assumed she was fine and she wasn't about to go telling him that her rear was hurting. She averted her eyes while he spoke. She knew he wasn't being mean about it but what he said could easily have been said in a scolding manner and that was how she was used to hearing a lot things. Especially things that could be due to her own carelessness. She sighed quietly and looked at his hand for a moment once he had held it out to her. She reached for it and took hold of it before glancing up at him again. "...Sorry." She mumbled quietly. Had she been paying more attention to where she was going she knew he wouldn't have had to do anything at all.

Kanone just shrugged and shook his head slightly as he laughed. "Of course not. If you convinced him to do anything I'd be wondering what happened to my cousin," he said lightly. He glanced back toward the door again. "At any rate, I guess it's not easy, but I don't know why it should be so hard. We weren't born perfect after all, everyone's got something about them that's a little off. I don't see what the big deal is to him."
Nanashi was at least relieved to hear that she wasn't hurt, at least not seriously. He smiled at her when she finally took his hand and then pulled her up carefully. "...There's no need to apologize. You didn't cause me to fall," he told her, "I'm just glad you didn't hurt yourself too badly." He motioned with his head toward the rest of the stairs, "Don't worry, I wont let you fall again." He started forward again, keeping a firm hold of her hand as well as the rail. He kept place with her easily and help his eyes on her to make sure that she didn't take another tumble, or that if she did he could catch her before she hit the steps again. Once they neared bottom of the steps he released her hand and let her take the last few on her own.

Kyran nodded slightly. "Celestine is pretty stubborn." He commented. He shrugged lightly at the last thing that Kanone had said. "Hmm... if I had to guess... I think I'd want to say that he's been ridiculed enough with his exterior looks that he doesn't want people knowing he's imperfect inside just like the rest of us?" He paused. "I could be wrong, but that seems a logical guess. In my opinion anyway." He said with another shrug. He really wasn't all too sure, but that was his best guess. Other than that, maybe it was just as simple as Celestine not wanting to show any signs of weakness to anything, to anyone.
Aamori looked at Nanashi and smiled weakly after he'd told her that there was no need to apologize. She nodded her head a little when he said that he wouldn't let her fall again. It was relieving to say the least that he had been there to keep her from falling all the way down the stairs and now he was going to help keep her from falling again. He was being incredibly nice. She didn't seem to have too much trouble getting down the stairs now since he was holding her one hand. It was a big help, at least she thought it was. When he finally released her hand she glanced back over to him after eying the last few steps. "...Thanks." She told him quietly and then continued down the last steps herself, sighing again once her feet were flat on the floor. She was already not looking forward to the next set of stairs, especially since she was certain they'd be exactly the same. She'd managed not only to fall down the stairs, but up them too. At least Nanashi was the only one there to witness her fall down.

Kanone half smiled and then shrugged in response to Kyran's suggestion. "As likely a reason as any," he said simply and then chuckled, "Guess it doesn't really matter, he is how he is... Or is how he wants everyone to think he is at least." Celestine was just like Kanone in some sense at least. They both had a kind and caring air about them, but Kanone was a little more open with his and just liked to be playful and pester everyone. Celestine on the other hand seemed to like to pretend that he didn't care about anything one way or the other until it mattered. They both had their own little roles they liked to play it seemed. Celestine was the younger, more serious, and much more hostile one and Kanone was just the fun loving, laid back guy who didn't let anything bother him for long. It was just easier to be that way if you were going to live with Celestine for any amount of time. He glanced to the stairs again and smiled slightly when he saw Aamori finally coming down, though he was a little confused as to why she was holding hands with Nanashi. He could have been a little jealous but..well everyone else did run off and leave her and he knew that Nanashi already had LaRae, so he didn't think anything more of it than he was trying to be helpful.
Nanashi nodded to Aamori when she tanks him, "Don't mention it.." he answered simply. He watched her momentarily to make sure that she didn't stumble and then descended the rest of the stairs himself and walked over to stand by LaRae again. He smiled slightly at her and then sighed softly and shook his head a little. Well, at least everyone had made it down the stairs in one piece so they could go now...he thought.

Aamori started to inch closer to the door a little now that she was flat on the floor again. "We can go now." She said quietly. For once she wanted to get out of here and get moving before anyone got the chance to inquire about her trip down the stairs. Not to mention she was waiting for everyone to get out of the room so that she could rub her rear a little. That was sore, more than she thought it should be. It unfortunately reminded her of the morning she slipped and hit her rear to the steps of the porch in Caledonia. She shook her head a little. She hated being so clumsy. Once everyone had filtered out of the building she followed last, pulling the door shut behind her. She was a little startled when she heard the locks clicking behind her after she shut the door. It didn't take very long from that point for them to all to get moving and head back through the opening in the fog back to the sister island that her parents lived on. From there she directed them back the way they came, straight past her parents house while trying not to show too much interest in it and back to the main island. She had to think briefly on where to go next. It didn't take her very long before she settled on one and started leading them towards it. When they reached the bridge it was guarded by two guards who easily enough let them all pass. They'd had already been made aware of all of them and they all had permission to go across. The sister island that she'd decided on was the one that Marius was staying on. Though that would probably become obvious since this island was a lot prettier than the others and only had three suspended houses on the whole island. There were no paths anywhere. Once the stone bridge ended it was nothing but open sand. She didn't leave much time for anyone to figure out which house Marius was staying in. She knew that would possibly only detour them. She continued to the furthermost edge of the island and hoped that she'd find that opening easily enough. She hadn't been given the exact area of each one, only a rough idea. So of course she felt a little silly when she had to keep kneeling down to look for it. When she finally did find the opening she pointed it out to everyone so that they could head through. Once everyone else was finally through the opening and on the other spire's island she was a bit relieved and really hoping that this was the right spire. She didn't want to have to do this again.

Celestine was more than glad to get back to the sister island and like before, he was the first one there by a long shot, as he would be every time they had to cross the water, and like before Kanone and Esen were right on his tail. He had almost wanted to stop to see Marius when they got to the second sister island, but he didn't ask to nor did he try to. He just watched as Aamori searched for the opening and then then went ahead through with a little urging from Kanone. This time it seemed everyone followed pretty much the same order as he watched them come out of the fog after reaching the other side. At lest this time Nanashi managed not to fall in again. He stood once Nero had gotten to the island and then looked back to the door, which he had already gone around to find, and then waited for Aamori to get over here to open it. Esen had already laid down beside it where she apparently intended to stay. He didn't mind if she came or stayed. Kanone was standing behind him waiting right along with him and trying to see if he wanted to wait outside. Of course he would have no part of that. If everyone else was going in, so was he whether he liked it or not.
Nanashi was of course glued to LaRae again while he waited for the door to be opened and he had happened to to notice Hikari standing a little closer to Kyran than she had been before. Apparently she seemed to be getting in a slightly more forgiving mood. That was a relief at least. He was starting to get apprehensive all over again. He'd hoped that there may be a little vegetation on this island, but again there was nothing, just like before. He was still a little worried about Kyran's midsection, but he hoped that it was feeling better now than it had been earlier. Even still that was still someone he was going to be keeping a bit of an eye on.

Aamori made her way towards the door since it seemed there wasn't any time for dawdling this time. She already knew how to open the door and what the inside should look like. So this should be quicker. Not to mention according to Celestine she was supposed to feel something if the relic was here. When she reached the door she stared at it for a moment. It didn't look any different than the other one so perhaps these buildings were all the same. Then again, that keyhole wasn't the same shape. That oddly didn't surprise her very much. This time the shape was a square rather than a cross. Clearly it wasn't supposed to easy to get into another spire if you'd already been in another. She reached for the doors handle to double check it and make sure it was locked. She stared at the door rather surprised when she was able to open it without doing anything to unlock it. She remembered the other door had locked right behind her so she wondered why this one was open. She tilted her head slightly and pushed it open the rest of the way before stepping inside and eying the locks. They looked like they'd been stuck in the unlocked position, for how long... she wasn't sure. "...That's ...kind of weird..." She admitted quietly before turning away from the locks to glance around the room. It looked exactly like the other one did, so much so you might question which spire you were actually in.
Kyran was a bit relieved that Hikari wasn't keeping as great a distance from him as she had been. It was kind of strange not having her at his side and he didn't care too much for how he felt when she wasn't beside him. He half wondered if he had let her get it all out and off her chest before would she still have steered clear of him for as long as she had. He never in his wildest dreams would've imagined that Hikari and Nero could have actually withstood each others company for any distance and they had, at least once. He like the others had made his way towards the door to wait for Aamori to open it. Once she had come over to do so he was a bit surprised to find that the door was apparently unlocked. That was certainly 'kind of weird', as she had put it. He couldn't help wondering if that meant that someone else was here already, though judging by the state of the locks once he'd gotten inside he'd probably wonder otherwise.

Celestine watched as Aamori tried the door and managed to open it without even doing anything. He stared at the door for a moment before he slowly started to follow her inside. He didn't like the fact that the door wasn't locked, though...for all intents and purposes he supposed a bad feeling was good considering what they were looking for wasn't meant to be pleasant. He glanced around the room briefly, seeing nothing really out of the ordinary as compared to the other building. He sighed softly, again refusing to step onto the see-through floor. He turned his eyes toward the stairs and looked up slowly. "...Do you feel anything?" he asked quietly before he looked back to Aamori.
Hikari was still a little irritated with Kyran, but given a few hours she'd cooled off enough that she could stand near him without feeling the urge to yell at him. However she still wasn't really speaking to him. She wasn't quite sure what to make of the door not being locked. Perhaps whoever had come last hadn't shut the door properly? Even still it was odd. She sighed once inside and glanced around slightly, paying little mind to the door once she was past it. As long as it oped, she didn't particularly care why. She just hoped this was the right spire as she did not want to do this all over again.
Kanone took to examining the lock as soon as he got inside and tilted his head slightly as he started at it, wondering if the thing was broken. The door had looked as if it were shut, yet the locks were in the lock position, so...why did the door open? He hadn't head anything clicking. After a moment he shook his head and sighed heavily. He guessed it really didn't matter one way or the other...
Nanashi didn't start into the building until after LaRae had gone inside, and then he followed and glanced back briefly to Nero as he stepped inside. He moved away from the door and looked down at the floors again as he looked around. "...It looks the same," he said quietly to himself. He had almost expected as much, but at the same time, he had no idea what to expect. Just because the outsides looked the same didn't always mean the interior would.

Aamori glanced over to Celestine when she heard his question. She was quiet for a few moments while she thought about it. The fact that it actually took her time to think about it was likely more than enough to tell that she felt fine. She finally shook her head a little. "...No ...I don't really feel anything." Anything different that is. She still wasn't even sure what she was supposed to be looking for.
LaRae glanced around at the inside, not really surprised that it looked the same. That meant less time could be spent standing here gawking at the floor and the walls. She happened to glance over at the floor though. Nobu had already come inside about the time Kyran had and he was already playing at the floor again. She couldn't help but walk over and take a look for herself to see what he seemed to interested in. She actually gasped quietly at the sight of a rather large, not too pretty looking fish that wasn't easily being run off by Nobu like some of the others. That was one weird looking fish and it had to be nearly eight feet in length alone. She lifted her eyes briefly and looked over to Aamori, planning to ask if she knew what type of fish that was. Though she became a little side tracked for a moment when she thought Aamori's skin was starting to get a blue hue. Maybe it was just the way the lights were in here? Anyway, she had a question. "Aamori... what in the world type of fish is this thing?" She asked as she pointed down at the floor.
Aamori shifted her glance over towards LaRae when she heard her question. She had planned to start heading up the stairs since everyone had come inside by now. The question that LaRae asked though, she couldn't resist. She had a pretty good knowledge of fish after all. She inched closer and looked down about to ask 'which one' but it was obvious. That thing was huge and not at all pretty to look at. She stared at it for a moment and then it seemed to uninterested in them and started to move away, just out of sight. "...I think it's a barracuda." She paused, sounding a little sure. "But... that's a bit larger than I've seen." She admitted quietly. Also, as LaRae had noted and dismissed. Her skin was starting to turn blue just like the day in Caledonia when she'd sat under the water too long and grown too cold to the touch. Of course she wouldn't notice this, she couldn't exactly look at herself and in the reflection of the glass floor she'd looked blue-ish anyway since that was the color of the water.
