Nanashi glanced down to the floor when he heard LaRae's question and then blinked before he stepped off of the glass slowly. "...There are things like that in the water?" He shuddered slightly, remembering when he'd fallen into the ocean on his first try at flying over. "I'm glad I didn't run into one of those when I fell in..."
Kanone blinked and stared at the fish for a moment. "Whoa....that's one ugly bugger..." he said with a slight laugh, "Hey, Cel come look at this thing, ahh hurry up it's leaving!" he said as he waved him over.
Celestine, unfortunately had already caught sight of the thing and moved far back away from the edge of the glass floor, practically flattening himself against the wall. "I saw it already," he said in an almost strangled voice. He looked like he really just wanted to turn tail and run back outside. Obviously he was no more find of ugly fish than he was of being indoors and surrounded by water. He swallowed hard and then looked abck to Aamori again, wanting to get going. "Aamo—" he started, until he noticed what the others had. "...We just be at the right place..." he muttered quietly as he looked over her skin.
Kanone blinked and then looked at Celestine before he turned his eyes back to Aamori again. It took him a second to register it, and like LaRae he thought it may have been the lighting but...it hadn't happened in the other building. "...Um...You're very.......blue," he said slowly before he looked down at the floor again, "...Guess we should start looking around then, huh?"

Nobu looked a little disappointed when the fish actually moved away. That one by far seemed the most interesting to him and it was so big. He wondered what size the other barracuda were if this one was considered large and were the other ones, the normal sized ones, were they just as ugly looking? He didn't eat fish and usually didn't have very much interest in them but this one, it was kind of interesting in a weird way. Then the fact that it didn't budge until more of them had come closer only made him more interested in it.
LaRae glanced over to Nanashi briefly. "There are sharks too... those aren't much better looking than that thing." She remembered when the shark had hit the side of their boat the first time they were on it. That alone should have been enough to show that there were strange things in the water here. She wouldn't be surprised if there were worse things than the over sized sharks. She looked back over at Aamori as the color to her skin was becoming more apparent and of course everyone else was noticing it now too. She tilted her head slightly. "...At first ...I thought that was the lighting." She admitted very quietly.
Aamori had looked over at Celestine when she heard him get part of her name out. She stared at him for a moment when he said that they must be in the right place. She still didn't feel anything so she wasn't so sure that they were. She looked over at Kanone immediately when she heard him say that she was blue. She was a little confused at first but finally stretched her arms out in front of her and pushed back her sleeves. Wonderful. It was a little embarrassing when her skin went blue, especially because she couldn't feel it or the immense cold to her skin that usually followed it. She dropped her arms back to her sides limply. At least her embarrassment couldn't show through the blue on her face. There was no way any other color was breaking through that. She sighed softly. "...I suppose this could count as feeling something?" She said as she glanced over at Celestine again.
Kyran was a little surprised that Aamori hadn't noticed her skins color change. He'd felt when his hairs stood on end, well, maybe you couldn't feel your skin change color. He sighed softly and glanced around the room a little. If anything these spires were pretty empty with the exception of the fish-tank like walls. He looked over at Kanone for a moment. "I don't think there is going to be too much looking. At least not down here." He paused. "I think we'd see the relic if it was down here and well, there isn't anything." He said with a slight nod. There really wasn't anything and he hoped the relic wasn't in the wall. That couldn't really be ruled out though. In a place like this that would probably be a good hiding spot.

Nanashi sighed when she reminded him of the sharks,"Yeah but one couldn't get that close to the shore, I could still stand up, it'd get stuck," he pointed out. This thing on the other hand...could definitely swim closer to the shore if it felt like it; especially if it was a big one compared to most. He looked back to Aamori again after hearing the others and stared momentarily at the blue tint in her skin. Well, that was certainly interesting. He already felt his heart pounding and he couldn't help but look up at the ceiling. After all, that's where Nerian had come from.
Kanone sighed and then looked at the stairs again, "Well...I guess let's get this over with?" he said as he reached to slide the strap for the swallow over his head to he could carry it in hand instead of wear it. His ears flattened when he heard Celestine's monotone question.
"Why are you taking it off now?"
"So I don't get tangled in this god forsaken strap when I try to take it off later. How do you wear this thing?" he muttered as he reached back to flick him in the head lightly.
Celestine brushed Kanone's hand away and then looked toward the stairs again. His ears fell back a little, and it was obvious what he was thinking without even saying a word. The room up there wasn't big, especially with a lot of people in it, and if there was a guardian up there....this was going to be one hell of a fight. He sighed softly and then shook his head. "Kanone, why don't you stay down here if you can't take this seriously." He didn't know why in the world Kanone was still playing around.
"Do I have to get all uptight to take something seriously?" he asked simply, "Besides, there's not way I'm letting you have all the fun."
Celestine just sighed heavily in defeat. Kanone was about as stubborn as he was. "Just don't get in the way..."
Kanone just smiled and shook his head, "Stop worry already, I know how to fight as well as you do. You're not getting rid of me that easy." He finally started for the stairs, "Well, since no one else is moving..."
Hikari sighed and shook her head before she started forward as well. "Lets just hope it's not as bad as last time..." she said quietly. It wouldn't hurt to check the most obvious place first before they went searing every crack and crevice in the spire.

Aamori was already thinking about the possibility of the guardian being here. Surely if it was upstairs in that room they'd see it before they even fully entered the room. But would the relic be that easy to spot? She hoped so. She was a little curious what the guardian was going to be like. So far they'd been big, and quite ferocious looking. Maybe ferocious was a exaggerated choice of words? Either way she didn't care for either of the guardians thus far, one in particular. She for the most part had ignored a bit of the conversations going on around her, though she did look up again when Kanone was starting for the stairs. She started to head that way herself, only to pause for a moment when she caught what Hikari had said. Not as bad as last time? Of course with where her mind was she thought straight back to the last guardian they had to battle which brought up less than pleasant memories and had she not already been silent her quietness would probably have seemed awkward. She hated how easily she was remembering that of all things. She didn't want to be useless like she was then, not this time, not even a little.
LaRae nodded slightly when Nanashi pointed out that a shark couldn't get close to the shore. She knew he was right. The size of those things they'd only end up beached and she hoped they weren't that stupid. Or well, it'd be better if they were then there wouldn't be so many alive to attack boats. She shook her head a little. Even if one of those barracuda's got close enough to hurt anyone, let alone Nanashi she was sure it could easily enough be speared and cooked. For some reason the thought of eating it was in the forefront of her mind. Possibly because that was one type of fish she'd never seen before and was curious about how it tasted. What a wonderful thing to be thinking about at a time like this when she should be focusing on what everyone else was.
Kyran shook his head a little listening to Celestine and Kanone. Both of them worried about the other to just about the same degree, it was kind of amusing. Maybe both of them should have been told to sit this one out. Unfortunately he didn't think he had the nerve to say something like that. He already knew Celestine's response and he wouldn't at all be surprised to see Kanone mimic it. He smiled slightly and shook his head. With the way those two acted this was going to be an interesting trip, to say the least. He started to head for the stairs himself, more than ready to get started on this. If the relic wasn't at the top then they could probably take a little time searching the place for it.

Celestine sighed heavily as he watched Kanone head up the stairs and then Hikari follow after. He shook his head slightly at her comment, "Can it get worse than a hydra?..." he said quietly. After a moment he sighed, "Of course it could..." He started to take a couple of steps and then looked back to Aamori. He stood there for a moment, also thinking back to last time. Unfortunately, that staff of hers was virtually useless against anything with armor, as he'd seen already. He sighed again and snagged her hand, "Come on... don't fall this time," he said simply as he tugged her toward the stairs. He wanted to keep her kind of close...just in case.
Nanashi sighed softly and then finally started toward the stairs as well after the others had gone. He didn't want to go up there, really, but he knew he was going to have to do something. He glanced to LaRae, making it a point to go ahead of her. He was the one with the weapon after all.
Kanone took the stairs at a much faster pace than Aamori first had, though he periodically stopped to make sure that he wasn't completely running off and leaving everyone. He'd pause long enough to look back and let them get a few steps behind him before he started again. It didn't take him long at all to reach the top of the steps and when he did he sighed when he saw the room. It was just like the other one...empty all but that pillar int he center. Even still, he walked inside and looked around carefully, "I don't see anything..." he muttered quietly, "......then again...I have no idea what I'm looking for."

Aamori continued to stand there rather quietly, quite depressed by the route her memory had taken her. She could've lived without remembering any of that. She startled absently when Celestine took hold of her hand. She lifted her eyes to stare at him. She held an expression like she hadn't heard a single word that he had said. She gave a weak nod though, she had heard him. Just barely. She stumbled forward a little when he tugged her towards the stairs. Don't fall this time? She didn't want to fall last time. She couldn't help it, it just happened. Though, she was less likely to fall when someone had a hold of her hand. She'd learned that much at least since Nanashi had helped her down the last portion of the last set of stairs. She'd like these damn stairs a lot more if they weren't steep and if they were wider. They'd be a lot easier to climb then.
Kyran had no real trouble with the stairs, though the motion of climbing them was sore on him midsection. He did well to ignore that completely. The pain, thankfully, wasn't as bad as it had been earlier. He followed just a couple steps behind Hikari. Ordinarily he might have climbed them beside her but since she still seemed a little mad at him he didn't really want to push his luck, so just behind her was good enough for now. Besides, he couldn't really complain about the view and this way she probably wouldn't guess he was staring from time to time. Once Hikari had cleared the opening on the top floor he was right behind her, though only for a moment. He'd stepped out of the way of the stairs and had glanced around a bit himself. He was surprised to not see anything more than that same pillar. This... wasn't really like anything they'd experienced before. The relic was in sight before they saw Nerian and then the Hydra was in sight before they saw the relic. Neither the guardian or the relic was visible here. Did they get something wrong?
LaRae started for the stairs almost as soon as Nanashi had started. That was more than enough to tell her to stop thinking about cooking fish. She followed almost directly behind him as he started up the stairs, a bit oblivious to why he'd made a point of getting ahead of her. It really hadn't even dawned on her. Just like this time she hadn't even bothered with looking for something green, she just kind of assumed there wouldn't be anything and she wasn't at all that worried. At least not right this moment anyway.
Nero of course had waited until everyone else had started up the stairs before he even went near them. Nobu was actually right on his heels once he'd climbed the first couple steps. He watched as Nobu came around to be beside him. Well, just ahead of him rather. He didn't think there was any reason behind this, it was probably just easier to be towards the back then to be caught up between the couples of people.

Hikari was silent as she mounted the stairs, trying to keep up with Kanone. She didn't know what his rush was considering they were heading straight for a guardian...or so she thought. Once he reached the inside of the room she followed closely, looking around as she walked further in to clear the door. "...It should be an orb," she told him, "...Or some kind of guardian..." She stared around the room or a few moments and then shook her head. "...I don't think there's anything in here..." she muttered softly, though no one had looked on the other side of the pillar for the relic, she didn't' see anything that resembled a guardian.
Kanone laughed weakly, "Maybe that ugly fish ate it," he joked before he shook his head.
"Oh please don't say that..." she groaned. The last thing she wanted to do was scour the ocean for a fish.
Celestine barely even noticed the expression on Aamori's face, he just knew she wasn't moving when he tugged her. Once he got on the stairs he kept one hand firmly on the rail and the other latched onto Aamori's hand to keep her more steady. Even if she did fall he had a good hold on her, and his balance was practically unmatched so he wasn't worried about her planting her face on the steps again. He led her up the stairs quickly compared to the pace she would have set for herself, and then paused for a moment before he forced himself to step into the room. He looked around, already seeing nothing of interest. "...It looks the same..." he said quietly, though his hand had already tightened it's grip on Aamori's absently rather than release it. He didn't like being in here again. Well... at least there were windows...and an opening...sorta.
Nanashi was close behind Celestine and actually held up slightly when Celestine paused. He waited patiently for him to go since he knew going in there at all was hard for him, and he didn't see anything dangerous as of yet. He sighed and stepped in directly after him once he'd moved and then looked around. He narrowed his eyes slightly. He thought to ask if perhaps Aamori wasn't just cold, but that couldn't have been the case. If it was cold enough to turn her blue he would have been absolutely freezing again, and he was just a little chilly as his clothes were a bit damp still. "...I wouldn't get comfortable just yet..." he said quietly, "Just because you don't see it doesn't always mean it's not there..." There were a lot of things that existed yet couldn't be seen...at least not by most. Fortunately...he didn't really see anything either, of course he may not have been looking with the right set of eyes. Then again, there was no telling what they were even looking for, really. Still it was better to be safe than sorry. Last time they casually walked into a place they got dropped on from the ceiling. That thought only caused him to glance up. Still...he didn't see anything unnatural.

Aamori obviously did better with steep stairs when she was being led rather than leading. She didn't appear to have much trouble with them at all, or the pace at which Celestine had gone. Her expression still hadn't changed much, even when he paused just before entering the room. She didn't bother lifting her eyes until after they had stepped into the room and Celestine had commented about it looking the same and tightened his grip on her hand. She looked around a little, finally and then down to their hands very, very briefly. He was right, not very much looked different and she didn't see a relic or a guardian. She lifted her free hand slightly and extended her arm after letting her sleeve slide back. She was bluer than she was before. No longer just a light hue but actually a deep shade of blue like the time she had nearly frozen her body with the cold water. She let her arm drop back down to her side limply. She was still quiet. She wasn't sure what to make of this and with that she had nothing to say anyway.
Kyran glanced over at Kanone at the joke of that ugly fish eating the relic. Wouldn't it be their luck? He shook his head a little, trying not to find the humor in that since it could unfortunately be a possibility. At any rate, if this whole Aamori turning blue thing was the trigger for the water relic than that meant they were close.
LaRae never fell more than a couple steps behind Nanashi while she was following him up the stairs. She couldn't help casting an occasional glance to the fish tank wall beside them as they climbed the stairs. She had to take a second look once when she glanced over because she was almost certain that she saw that ugly barracuda, or one just like it. But it was gone again from her sight before she could even confirm it. Once she finally cleared the stairs she started to look around a little, surprised to not see anything. She caught Nanashi glance up, that was the second time he'd looked up since they got here. It didn't take her that long to catch what he must have been looking for. "Did Nerian's entrance leave that big of an impression on you?" She asked almost wanting to laugh, but she refrained.
Nero was the last one up the stairs, he let Nobu get ahead of him by just a couple steps. As soon as he had set both of his feet down on the top floor he heard the sound of something scraping. His ears twitched and he started glancing around a little looking for the origin of the sound. It wasn't until a strong door had jutted out from just behind his heels and slammed shut over top of the stair case that it hit him. He should've known that sound was behind him, well, under him. He turned around quickly, just as it slammed shut and the seams in the floor seemed to go away. He practically glared daggers at that floor since it shut on them and it wasn't even visible now. Something told him that front door being unlocked was a bad thing. He grumbled quietly as he crossed his arms over his chest tightly and rather angrily stomped his heel down where one of the seams should have been. The ground didn't even budge, it was almost like there had been no door there to begin with. "...Wonderful..." He muttered as he stood there and resumed staring at the floor.

Nanashi glanced over to LaRae when he heard her ask about Nerian's appearance leaving that big of an impact on him. "...Why shouldn't it? The ceiling is the last place you expect something like that to come from..." he muttered quietly, "I don't want anything skydiving on my head." His ears twitched slightly when he heard the grading sound, but he wasn't entirely sure where it was coming from. Everything in here almost seemed to echo so it was hard to tell. He stared at the pillar int eh center of the room for a moment until Celestine whipped him with his hair int he process of turning around at the sound of the door slamming. He tensed up even more than before and then looked back slowly. "...Crap..." he muttered quietly.
Celestine's ears twitched at the grating sound, but it wasn't until he heard the slam that he dropped Aamori's hand and spun around quickly, his hair whipping everything that was too close to him before it fell, half in his face. His emerald eyes widened when he saw that their only way out of this room was gone. Not just closed, but completely gone. "Wh...what the hell!?" He watched Nero kick the floor and then practically pounced at the area where the opening should have been, actually clawing at the floor as he tried to figure out how to get the door open again. "Who in the hell are we supposed to get out of here!?" His voice actually raised a few octaves as it echoed off of the walls. Already he was about to panic. His eyes were locked int hat wide, almost wild position and his breathing had already started to increase in speed. "Damn it...Damn it, DAMN IT!!" Obviously the 'not showing fear' thing was completely lost in this situation. He did not take being caged very well.
Kanone's ears laid back when he heard the grating sound and unlike most, his first instinct was to look at where they came in. He stared as the opening closed and then sighed. "Perfect..." he muttered quietly. There wasn't much he could have done to stop it from closing. Not only was he on the other side of the room but he didn't have anything to try to stop it with. Celestine's panic attack was what finally got him moving in that direction. "Celestine, calm down! This is not time to panic!" he told him as he dragged him to his feet, "We'll get out, just breathe!" he said sternly as he put his hand on top of Celestine's head. He had to glance around a little after that... they definitely weren't getting out those windows... He sighed as he looked back to Celestine. Right now he looked more like a scared little girl than that brave warrior he always tried to be.
Hikari turned back quickly when she heard the door slam and then stared blankly at Celestine when he started to freak out. She almost felt bad for him considering that they all knew that he was extremely claustrophobic by now and...well he was kind of making a spectacle of himself. She couldn't really blame him though, she didn't like being trapped in here either, and she was by no means claustrophobic. She looked around again for a moment and then slowly started to remove her bow from her shoulders. She had a feeling she was going to be needing it pretty soon.

Aamori startled a bit when she heard the sound from the door closing over the stairs. Of course she had no idea where the sound came from and she seemed to come to her senses a little more after seeing the door had shut and there was a bit more of a need for her not to get lost in thought. She stared at Celestine, practically in disbelief as he literally freaked out because the door shut. It was official, she'd chew him out the next time he got into her about freaking out because she had blood on her. He was doing a poor job of containing his fear, just like her. Now that she was over that she felt terrible that he was so scared of closed in spaces. She continued to just stand where she was for a moment trying to think. Trying, anyway. She assumed that the door closing like it had might have been some sort of safety mechanism since the door was unlocked downstairs? Maybe there was some sort of sensor or something that could tell when everyone was off of the stairs which told it to close? But... how in the world would it be opened? If the front door could be unlocked with her magic than maybe this door could be as well? She hoped at least since it didn't look like brute kicking force or clawing was going to open it.
Kyran looked to the pillar first when he heard the noise of the door and then finally cast his glance to the staircase just as the door slammed shut. He stared at it practically wide-eyed that it had actually shut on them like that. But how? He shook his head a little and watched as Nero tried stomping on the door and then again when Celestine was making himself look silly in front of everyone. He knew Celestine was claustrophobic, but this... there wasn't words. He sighed quietly and tried to keep a level head at the very least. There had to be a way out and there had to have been a cause.
LaRae's ears twitched at the scrapping sound and she like most of the others had started to look around for it. She startled a little once the door had slammed shut. That didn't look good, at all. She had to admit though, of all the things she could possibly be feeling right now.. she felt sorry for Celestine. She'd never admit that to him though, she doubted he needed anyone's sympathy. Regardless though she new it had to have taken a lot to drive him to act like this in front of everyone and she could only hope that Kanone knew the right way to calm him down, even just a little.
Nero glared down at the would be staircase that the floor had hidden from them. He took a step back though when he saw Celestine go at the floor like he did. "...Oh yeah ...that's going work." He muttered very quietly to himself. He'd used a lot of force to stomp at the seam that used to be there and nothing moved. It didn't even budge. So there was no way that clawing was going to work. He watched until Kanone had finally come to save him from further embarrassment. He sighed heavily and started to glance around a little. At least until he heard a tapping noise. It was faint and likely not heard unless you were standing at least where he was. He had no trouble pinpointing the sound now, probably because it wasn't loud at all. He stared over at the glass that was lining the floor. Of course that was still here, it was about four feet into the room after all. He could clearly see that fish... the one from earlier. Aamori called it... a.. barracuda. Yeah, a barracuda... and it was ramming... the glass... "Shit" He muttered while he watched that damn fish smack against the glass again and send it cracking the whole length that it was in this room. Which of course sent the water flooding onto the floor and unfortunately it didn't appear to be stopping at all. The fish however... seemed to have gone back down, probably swimming against the flow of water that was pouring into the room.
Nobu instantly reacted to the water once the glass had broken and the water started to pour into the room. He scooted back, fast, to be against the back of the room opposite from where the water was coming in. He wasn't afraid of water really, just what happened when he was in water to the point he was drenched. He actually whined quietly, catching that the water didn't appear to be stopping and it was going to reach his paws in only a matter of time.

Nanashi stared at Celestine for a moment when he started to have his inevitable panic attack and then looked at the floor again. He knew they were nice and stuck in here, at least until something opened that door. He blinked when he heard the sound of something tapping and it didn't take him long to figure out what it was. There was only one thing in here that wasn't stone so it had to be glass. His eyes widened slightly when he saw the barracuda slamming against the glass until it broke and and then gasped quietly. "Not good..." He watched as the water flooded into the room and back stepped slightly. "...Damn...." he muttered quietly when it didn't seem to be stopping, and the water level in the tank didn't seem to be getting any lower, at least from what he could tell so far. This wouldn't be quite so much of a problem...if he could swim. All he could do at this point was hope to god that the water stopped before it got that high or worse...before it filled the entire room.
Celestine tried to take Kanone's advice and breathe normally, but he still found that a little difficult. If they were stuck in here too long they were going to starve...if they didn't run out of oxygen first. That was an awful lot of them to be breathing in such a small room. On top of that, who knew they were here? Thy couldn't very well hope for too much of a rescue. The more he thought about it, the faster he started to gasp for air. His breath caught however when he heard the tapping on the glass...and then the crack. His eyes widened even bore, if that were at all possible, and his pupils contracted into tiny slips when he saw the water rushing in. Screw suffocating, they were all just going to drown. He back stepped quickly away from the water and bumped right into Kanone, flattening his back against his chest. He gasped when she water touched his feet and then looked around wildly. There was glass on the windows, no holes int he floor...nowhere for all of this water to go... and with the size of that tank, not to mention there was no telling how much space int he wall it took up... there was a good possibility of that it seemed. "....It's...it's not stopping..." he gasped quietly as he pressed back against Kanone, "Oh god, it's not stopping!" He could feel his heart thudding hard in his chest as he took in tiny gasps of air that barely even filled his lungs. There really weren't words to describe his expression at the moment...terror really didn't even seem to cover it, and his rationality had already dropped below zero. Of all the ways he could die, drowning was the one that frightened him the most.
Kanone stared at the glass as the barracuda slammed against it and then shook his head, "Damn it! Get lost!" he yelled at the fish, not that it was listening. His eyes widened slightly when the glass cracked and started to flood the room, "Oh...for the love of the gods!" he snapped, just before Celestine backed up against him. Well...he knew this was coming. "I swear I'm going to fillet that fish..." he growled as he wrapped his arms around Celestine, trying to calm him down. "Celestine..." he started, but Celestine obviously wasn't home. He knew his eyes were locked on that flooding water even though he couldn't see his face, and he felt the water rushing over his boots. He could also feel Celestine shaking, as well as see that he was hyperventilating on him. After a moment he grabbed him and turned him around to face his chest rather than the water and wrapped his free arm around Celestine tightly. "Cel, listen to me! Breathe, damn it! This is no time to panic!"
"This is the perfect time to panic; we're going to drown!!!" he shot back in an even higher voice than he'd used before, though there were only two people int he room that had any idea of what he said. He was a little too panicked to pick the common language over the one he was used to using at the moment.
"We're not going to drown!" he answered back quickly, "Now shut up and breathe normally before you pass out or something!!" Could it possibly get any worse on this kid? Closed in spaces AND a flood of water...and all mixed in with one butt ugly fish.
Hikari gasped when the glass cracked and then stared wide eyed at the tank for a moment before Celestine's voice caught her ear. "It's not that deep!" Yet...oh gods, I hope this room doesn't completely flood. She looked back again when she heard Nobu whine and saw him backing away from the water. Quickly she grabbed Kyran's arm and gave it a tug while pointing back to Nobu. She didn't know what she expected Kyran to do, but there had to be some reason for Nobu to be retreating like that...well judging by his element and what had happened to Nerian when Aamori had soaked him, she really didn't want to know.

Aamori couldn't believe her eyes when she caught sight of that fish, purposely breaking the glass. That made little to no sense to her. Why now of all times. It had plenty of time to break the glass without them here. Putting Celestine's panic attack on hold, that damned fish really didn't seem ordinary. It's size was off and now this, oh, it could also swim against the current of the water flowing in? Most fish would get caught up in it. The water flowing in obviously didn't alarm her, even in the slightest. It washed over her boots and she just glanced down to watch how fast it was coming in. It had too big of an opening, that's why it was flowing so fast. That was just her assumption anyway. She finally took a step forward and started to head towards that opening where that glass had been. She paused long enough to glance over at Kanone and then down to Celestine. Seeing Celestine like that, well, she had to admit she wished she'd never had to see him like that. She started walking again, the water really not phasing her.. even in the slightest. The water by now was already to her shins and rising at an alarming rate, well, for everyone but her probably. She wasn't entirely sure what her first concern should be once she got closer to that opening. She wanted to think of a way to stop the water, but if she could get that darned door open in the floor the water would just go away.
LaRae absently took a step or two back when the water came flooding to her feet. She didn't seem too alarmed by the water, at least, not right now. She knew how to swim just fine and this room did have four windows. It couldn't possibly flood enough to drown anyone, especially since those windows could be broken out. Was she the only one thinking of that right now while the water was flooding in? By the time the water had reached her shins, the same time Aamori had started over to the opening she finally glanced around at the others. She had kind of blocked out Celestine's panic attack until now and ignored everyone else. Celestine was really freaking out. She had to admit that it was kind of nice having Kanone here to try and calm him. Though it looked like there may be no end in sight. After all, Celestine was claustrophobic and afraid of drowning. Obviously. She sighed quietly as she looked back down at the water and it was still steadily rising, to her knees now. This didn't look very good but she had faith in those windows. They could be busted out and there was plenty of weapons to do so.
Kyran startled slightly when the water flooded into the room and and over his boots. The fact that the water was rising as fast as it was was alarming in itself. He could control his element and the reaction to so much water, easily, but still this wasn't a pleasant scenario. Confined room, filling with cold water. He glanced back to Hikari when he felt her grab his arm and tug on it. He looked at her to see what was wrong. He didn't see her freaking out about this. She was more the type to try and think of a way out, right? He shifted his glance over to Nobu since she had pointed in that direction. By the time he was getting to looking in that direction the water was already up to everyone's shins and heading for their knees. Nobu was standing against the wall trying to lift his paws out of the water and having no luck with managing all four at once. He just couldn't do that without wings. He was slightly alarmed now, more than before since Nobu looked so... un-composed? That was very strange for Nobu. He cast his glance back to Hikari for a brief moment before he started rushing over towards Nobu, ignoring the fact that there was water trying to bury his feet. When he reached Nobu he immediately knelt down, despite the pain in his midsection. "What's wrong Nobu?" He asked as he put his hand down on top of his head and rubbed gently. "It's just a little water." Well, it was a lot actually and it was still coming. He wouldn't be able to kneel for too long it seemed and Nobu wouldn't be able to stand on his fours.
Nobu whined a couple more times as the water had continued to rise. He was quite a bit shorter than everyone so he was going to be soaked before the lot of them and that thought... he hated. He was slightly relieved when Kyran came over to him. He was aware of what was going to be coming and Kyran was the only one who could safely stop it from getting out of hand. He looked at Kyran and relaxed a little, only a little, when he touched his head. He hesitated greatly on telling him what was bound to happen. He wasn't so sure that Kyran was ready for that though. It took a lot to know your dog could talk. But if he just sat idly by the others could really get hurt, or maybe just maybe... the water would stop before he could get soaked to the bone? Oh how he hoped that would happen.
Nero continued to stand with his arms crossed tightly over his chest as he watched the water flooding in. He cast his glance towards Kanone briefly, he second the idea of filleting that fish. He looked down at Celestine momentarily and shook his head slightly. Lucky guy, two things he was afraid of in one instance. He'd be surprised if the guy could manage to keep from passing out. He sighed heavily and stared over at the opening as Aamori had started over. He wished this room wasn't empty. Something, anything, anything at all would be nice so that the opening the flooding waters were coming from could be stopped. Or that floor. He glared back down at it through the water that was still rising. He was about on the same wave length as Aamori. If that damn door was open then the water would flood down the stairs and outside. He wondered for a moment if his brass knuckles would be any match for the floor. The floors were stone, so he was skeptical. If he really had to, he could try. He grumbled quietly while he mulled over the idea.

Nanashi shifted uncomfortably as the water continued to rise up to his shins and then his knees. He couldn't help the shivering that followed as the cold water creeped up his body. He'd already been fairly chilly, this definitely wasn't helping. He looked at the tank again as he wrapped his arms around himself and then started to look around again. He wasn't so sure about those windows being broken... After all, doors meant to simply keep someone from getting out would just close, not have a completely water tight seal that couldn't even be seen. It was almost like this room was made to flood and if that was the case...he didn't see those windows being too easy to break. Then again, he also hoped he was completely wrong and entirely over thinking this because if that were the case, they were definitely in trouble if that door in the floor didn't open. When the water just continued to rise up his legs he finally looked over to the opening where it was coming from again. "Be careful, Aamori..." he told her since he knew that fish was still over there somewhere. He didn't really think that fish busting the glass was a coincidence... after all this had to be the right tower and they were lacking a guardian... Fish weren't really that smart from what he knew, so why would it wait until they were all up here and closed in before it started trying to break through the glass? Not to mention Aamori had said that one was bigger than any she'd ever seen, so there was definitely something off about it.
Hikari watched as Kyran went to Nobu and then looked around quickly as the water came up to her knees. She finally started over to one of the windows and ran her hands along the edge, looking for some way to open one so the water level wouldn't get higher than the base of the window. She didn't want to go breaking anything just yet if they didn't really have to, but...well it seemed if they wanted these windows open busting them was the only option. "Shoot..." she muttered under her breath as the water continued to rise up her thighs. She just hoped that this glass wasn't too thick...
Kanone kept his arm around Celestine tightly and then carefully slipped the swallow's strap up his arm so that it hung on his one shoulder and against his back. After all...he couldn't very well fight water with that thing. Now that he had both arms free he wrapped them both around Celestine and started stroking his back while he tried to calm him down. It was just outright...weird seeing Celestine act like this. Usually he was the one that kept a level head while everyone else was freaking out. Apparently this was a little much for him. At least he'd finally quieted down for the most part, but he was still taking in jagged breaths and shaking while pressing his face into his chest. He sighed and lowered his head slightly, "Cel...listen.... You're fine, I've got you," he said in a much more gentle voice than he had been using before, "I need to you calm down, alright? It's okay... I'm right here, you're fine." He stroked his hand down the back of Celestine's head and then glanced down to the water that was rather quickly working it's way up to their waists. He wasn't too crazy about this whole thing either. He wasn't as bad as Celestine but he didn't like being confined, nor did he like the idea of the room filling with water any more than anyone else would. He was just trying to stay calm and not let it get the better of him. After all, he doubted that anyone wanted to deal with two of them freaking out like that.
Celestine really didn't quite know what to do with himself. He had the urge to try to fly to get out of the water, but the ceiling was too low...not to mention Kanone was holding onto him for dear life. He was trying to breathe like Kanone told him but all he could manage to do was gasp in air quickly and fight down hysterical sobs. He really wished for once that he had stayed back, this was one this he really didn't know how to handle. had they just been closed in he probably could have gotten over it...a little, but with the room quickly filling with water...his nerves wouldn't allow it. He burrowed his head against Kanone's chest, easily able to feel Kanone's heart pounding as well as his own was. When he started petting him he calmed down a little, just barely enough to hear what Kanone was saying. He reached up slowly and latched onto Kanone's shirt tightly while he closed his eyes. He had no apparent intention of letting go of him any time soon.

LaRae was starting to grow a little comfortable by the time the water had risen to their waists. It hadn't taken very long for it to get this high and it didn't appear to be stopping, at least not yet anyway. She looked over at Nanashi and noticed that he had wrapped his arms around himself, undoubtedly because he was cold. The chill to the water didn't bother her the way it did him. Though, if she was stuck in the water long enough the cold would probably start getting to her. She waded through the water until she was beside him. Even with the room flooding and the prospect of there being no way out she was still more concerned with him. "...Are you alright?" She asked as she reached over to lightly touch his arm.
Nobu was beyond uncomfortable and more than ready to get out of the water, but with no where to go that was a little difficult. By the time the water had reached everyone elses waist he was almost fully submerged. There was a small portion of his back still free from water along with his head. That wouldn't last too long considering the way the water was going. His fur had already started to crack and pop with electricity, just a little and beneath the water. It was steadily building though and near a complete release that he wouldn't be able to control. Electricity and water didn't exactly mix, so this was bound to hurt everyone. Well, everyone but perhaps Kyran. He was almost certain that Kyran would be able to deal with the electrical release that was imminent. Once the water had finally covered his back completely and was rising for his head he could do nothing more than start treading water to keep his head up. The build up from his fur had gotten to the point that the sparks were now becoming visible on top of the water near him. He was still overly hesitant about startling Kyran by talking to him but at the rate this was going he wasn't sure what other choice he was going to have. Just as he was finally deciding it'd be best to say something his let loose the electricity that was built up. The electricity sparked noisily and traveled through the water and across the top until it had covered the whole room. He immediately let out a yelp followed by a series of low whimpers. It wouldn't hurt him the way it would hurt everyone else. The initial release is what hurt him the most and the waves of electricity coming from his fur were mere mild annoyances. He wanted it to stop. He finally caved. '...Kyran...' He whined and knew his voice would be unfamiliar. '...You have to absorb the electricity.' He paused. 'Before I hurt everyone, further.' He whined again hoping Kyran wouldn't just freak out on him.
Kyran soon found himself standing again since the water had risen as high as it had. He mad a face after he was upright again because of his midsection but the face faded fast enough. He was still quite concerned with Nobu and the way he was acting so he hadn't really been paying much attention to anything else. He was a little alarmed when he caught sight of the sparks that were starting to come from him and then he cringed when there was that large release of electricity from him. He'd felt that enough to not cry out from the pain it should cause but it still wasn't too comfortable. He startled terribly when he heard a voice and didn't recognize it at all. Of course he glanced around a little wondering if someone else had heard it. When the voice had continued with the mention of absorbing the electricity he stared at Nobu with a questioning look. His eyes were full of nothing but disbelief and then he cringed again at another wave of electricity. He didn't bother trying to comprehend that he was hearing voices right now it was more important to stop the electrical flow coming from Nobu. He only had to focus for a moment and his hands had an aura to them just before he reached out and grabbed a hold of Nobu. It didn't take long for the sparks to stop while he had a hold of Nobu. Absorbing itself wasn't that difficult and it wasn't completely harmless. It hurt, more like a constant dull ache that probably showed on his face. It pained him since it was coming from a source he wasn't at all used to. His hair had slowly started to stand on end, at least the hair on top of his head that wasn't wet yet. Once he was done and there wasn't much of anything left to absorb his hair fell back to it's usual place and he started to release Nobu.

Nanashi startled when LaRae touched his arm and looked back at her quickly. He couldn't believe she was calm enough to be worrying about him being cold right now. His skin was covered in goosebumps and probably felt colder than it should have; it was only barely warmer than the water. "...I'm as alright as I can be in this situation..." he said quietly. He was at least being a good job of keeping a level head. "...I just hope this stops before it gets over my head..." he muttered quietly as he looked down to the water that was quickly passing his waist line. He swallowed hard and then looked back to the water for a moment before he caught sight of a bright light moving across the water's surface and not half a second later he yelped as he felt a sharp pain run through his body. His muscles tightened and he nearly doubled over as the current hit him. It felt like he had just been kicked by a mule on all sides just around the water's surface, though it left his entire lower body tingling while his midsection throbbed. "Ahh..." he groaned as he moved his arms to wrap around himself. He had closed his eyes when he was hit, but he opened one to look at LaRae, "A...are you alright?" he asked quietly. He hoped she wasn't hit as hard as he was, or at least that it didn't hurt her quite as badly. The way he figured it dragons had more resistance to most things than humans did, and she was an earth element, so hopefully electricity wouldn't be too bad on her. He barely had time to get a response from her before he felt another bolt, only just a tad higher than the last since the water had risen and he wasn't standing exactly straight anymore. He yelped gain, though this time after the current got out of him his legs gave out and he disappeared under the water for a moment. The cold washing over his face was almost as much of a shock to him as the shock was, and he gasped involuntarily which only caused him to gag and cough as he flailed to get back on his feet again. Once he'd broke the surface he coughed roughly, trying to get rid of the water he'd just inhaled. He was having a little trouble remaining on his feet now while his body was trying to get over the double shock and chilling at the same time. He could safely say that he wasn't used to being shocked like that, and frankly it hurt like hell, especially the first time.
Celestine wasn't paying attention to too much of anything except for Kanone, and that was only because Kanone's voice was about the only calming thing in this room right now. He was the shortest person in this room, well aside from Nobu, so the water was nearing his chest by the time it was getting to Kanone's waist. His wings already felt heavy, and they weren't even fully submerged yet. he was completely taken off guard by the first electrical shock that hit him straight in the chest. He yelped and would have fallen into the water had it not been for Kanone holding onto him. He was extremely alarmed when he couldn't seem to make his lungs move for a moment after the shock. Once he managed to make his lungs move he coughed, trying to catch his breath again, though after that he latched onto Kanone even more tightly. He still heard Nobu when he spoke, and half wondered why he hadn't told Kyran that before he'd shocked them. He yelped again when the second wave hit them and again made breathing a little difficult. It probably didn't help that he and Kanone weren't standing too far away from Nobu's side of the room. Now he really wanted to get our of all this water, especially since it was still creeping up even higher on his body. His state of being near calm was pretty much shattered after that. He wrapped his scrawny arms tightly around Kanone's middle and pressed his forehead into his chest. He was shaking uncontrollably and his breathing had accelerated again into short, somewhat noisy gasps that sounded more like dry sobs.
Kanone was taken as off guard as Celestine was when the current hit him, and he yelled out in pain, though the chock only caused his arms to tighten around Celestine. He felt Celestine's legs give out, and unfortunately his weren't too far behind him. Thankfully, rather than fall on top of him, he managed to fall back against the wall. "Ahh... damn it...to hell that hurt!" he groaned as he closed his eyes. He felt the swallow slide down his arm and just moved it to let it fall since it was kind of interfering with progress. After it was off of his arm he snagged it and was going to lean it against the wall for the moment, though the second shock caused him to drop it int he water. "Shit!!" he yelped as he slid down the wall a little. He gasped for a moment and cringed before he slowly managed to get his arm back around Celestine. He looked almost irritated when he heard Celestine's breathing get off again and he just tightened his grip on him gently. "Cel..." He shook his head when he felt the way he was holding on him and tried to pry his loose, though that only made him hang on more tightly, "Cel...you're...making breathing....difficult..." he told him since he had a bit of a crushing grip, "C-come on, you're hurting me," he tried to tell him. He took a few deep breaths when Celestine finally loosened his death grip a little and then wrapped his arms back around him and then pulled him up out of the water a little since he noticed that it was already quickly getting up to Celestine's neck. "Here, hold onto my neck..." he said softly while keeping his arms around him. He was thankful for the water still in the room at the moment. At least the water made him feel lighter. He blinked when he noticed Celestine's arms were covered in mild electrical burns where the electricity on top of the water had come into contact with his bare skin. Well...no wonder he sounded like he was crying. He looked down at his own arms and notice the same burns running across his where part of his arms had been under water. Ow... "Come on, calm down, buddy... It's alright..." he started again, trying yet again to get him to calm back down a little. He sure as hell hoped nothing came at them while this room was flooded or he was going to be a little screwed. After all, Celestine was already getting to the point that he could barely stand on the floor and he couldn't very well fight and keep Celestine afloat as well...or at least not easily. Finally he glanced around again, "H-hey, is everyone alright?" he asked, mostly looking at Aamori when the question was posed.
Hikari had given up on the windows and turned her attention back to Kyran and Nobu. She saw the sparks in the water already and her stomach felt like it dropped. She had a bad feeling about what was coming up next. She looked around quickly, looking for any place to get out of the water. Unfortunately there wasn't really anywhere to go. She yelped almost simultaneously with everyone else when the anticipated bolt reached her, though she'd been trying to prepare for it. She had never been shocked like that before, so it was hard to prepare yourself for something like that. She grabbed onto the windowsill and closed her eyes tightly while she held her arm around her midsection tightly. She hoped that was the end of it, though she yelped again when she other wave hit her and her knees nearly gave out. She clutched the windowsill a little more tightly and then groaned quietly, half expecting another shock. She slowly opened her eyes and looked back to Kyran while he absorbed the electricity from Nobu, or at least that's what she assumed he was doing. After he started to let Nobu go she slowly released the windowsill and then started to wade over in that direction though, though walking was getting to be rather difficult by this point seeing that the water was getting pretty high up there. She looked at Kyran with a worried expression since he'd seemed to be in a bit of pain before, "Are you alright?..." she asked quietly before she looked down to Nobu again and then around to the others. She just barely hear Celestine's descent into hysterics from where she stood and Kanone's attempt at calming him down. She nodded when he asked if everyone was alright.

LaRae wasn't paying any attention to anything other than Nanashi at the moment. She wanted to hear how he was. So it wasn't until she heard him mutter that he hoped the water stopped before it got over his head. She started to pull her hand back at that point and then immediately shut her eyes and clenched her teeth together tightly letting a low hiss out from behind her teeth when she felt the first shock. The shock hurt quite a bit and she'd never felt anything like it before but she was at least able grit her teeth through the pain rather than cry out. That didn't make the pain register any less, though she wished it had. She started to open her eyes slowly when she heard Nanashi ask if she was alright. She cast her glance over at him and nodded her head lightly. She was about to open her mouth to give him a verbal answer but the second shock caught her before she got a word out. Since she was already going to say something she couldn't help crying out a little with the second shock instead of getting out what she was going to say. She started to open her eyes again after a moment, just in time to see that Nanashi was resurfacing. She took a couple labored breaths and reached over to lightly touch his arm again. "A-are you alright?" She asked and then realized everyone was likely asking that same question.
Nero tried his best to not even make a face when the first shock hit him. He was for the most part used to feeling some degree of pain, though there was nothing like being shocked. He cringed very slightly by the second shock and continued to stand there almost like he'd felt nothing after the shocks had stopped. He glanced around a little once it all had stopped, mostly to see what state everyone else was in.
Aamori didn't handle any part of the electrical shocking well. She hadn't been paying attention to anything but the opening the water was still escaping from and the door in the floor that she wanted opened. She was pretty sure she had no way to stop the water from coming into the room so she wanted to try and focus on getting the door open. Before she got anywhere with that though the first shock hit her with a vengeance. She wasn't accustomed to pain so of course the shock hurt her severely when it hit. Her first reaction to the shock after crying out in pain was to curl in on herself. Regardless of the water and it's level she still dropped down and wrapped her arms around her legs. She managed to keep herself under the water long enough to avoid the worst part of the second shock; the surface shock. After she got herself pulled together enough to stand back up she stood on her tiptoes so that she wasn't stuck with her head tilted back. She choked out a couple breaths while she lifted her hand to try and wipe the water away from her eyes. The water appeared to have finally slowed down at the very least which meant that it was probably going to cease soon enough. She glanced over towards Kanone when she heard him ask if everyone was alright. It was probably easy enough to read on her face but she was hurting. Aside from fire and thunder [electricity for that matter] were the elements that hurt her the most. "...Y-yeah." She paused. "I think I'm alri--" She startled then winced just before it looked like she'd been knocked back into the water, just away from the opening where the water had been coming in. She had been knocked back a bit further than could be mistaken for herself just falling backwards and moments after she'd disappeared under the water a light tinting of red hit the water near where she'd gone under.
Kyran hunched slightly once he'd let go of Nobu and he was sure that Nobu was keeping himself afloat. He was breathing heavily and completely ignoring the level of the water at the moment. Considering how tall he was he was the last one who needed to fret about the water going over their head. He was relieved that he had managed to absorb the electricity from Nobu and save everyone from being shocked any further but that was far more uncomfortable than he had expected. He winced a little and started to stand himself up straight again when he heard Hikari. He glanced over to her and tried his best to smile at her while he nodded weakly. "...I think so..." He said quietly.
The electrical current in the water barely touched the barracuda from where he was hiding but he still registered that it was there. He'd waited for an opportune time to dart out of the opening into the room that had been filling with water. Once he was ready he darted out, making sure to smack against the first person that he came into contact with, which just so happened to be Aamori and her legs since she was standing so close to the opening. The scales on his body were abnormal. They were much sharper than any fishes scales and they easily sliced into her legs when they smacked against her. After he'd connected with her he darted around the room at an incredible pace and didn't bother coming to a stop until he was on the side of the room where no one was at.

Nanashi flinched slightly when LaRae touched him and nodded without opening his mouth. He could feel his muscles twitching involuntarily after the shock. "...Y...y-yes..." he finally choked out as he looked back to her again with only one eye open. Second later he was coughing again as he pushed his drenched hair back out of his face and shook his head. He glanced around, looking a little dazed. He moved a little closer to LaRae as he tried to straighten himself up to get his chin out of the water since he was about to inhale more than he already had. He was glad to see that mostly everyone else seemed to be alright. Apparently he and Aamori were the only ones that had gone under at any rate. He blinked when Aamori fell underwater again and stared for a moment at the red that tinted the water with an uncomprehending look on his face. It took a few seconds for his eyes to widen with the realization that it was blood. "Aamori!?" He wanted to try to rush over there, but the water was already getting high enough that he couldn't even stand flat on his feet anymore so movement wasn't easy by any means. He was quickly finding that the water was getting high enough that he couldn't even stay on his toes anymore safely. He tilted his head back and tried to tread the water, though he quickly found himself sinking below the surface. He flailed his arms and kicked off of the floor again to break the surface again, though he was barely above water long enough to catch his breath and get the stinging water out of his nostrils before he sank underwater again. The cold was making moving his limbs difficult in the first place, so staying above water was near impossible, especially since he couldn't swim in first place. He pushed off the floor again and broke the surface once again before he grabbed tightly onto LaRae's arm and kicked his legs to try to keep himself up above the surface while he coughed and gagged on the water. He hadn't really meant to grab onto LaRae, but she was only thing close to him that he could hold onto to keep himself up.
Kanone sighed softly in relief when she said that she was alright, though he blinked when she fell under water and moved forward slightly. "Aamori!?" He gasped when he saw the blood, "Oh shit!!" He quickly pried Celestine off of him quickly before pushing him against Nero. "Here, hold him!" he said quickly. The water was already well to his neck by the time he got moving and it was hard to stand flat on his feet so once he was free of Celestine, whom he was sure wouldn't leave Nero much of a choice but to take him, he took a deep breath and dove under the water since he could swim a lot faster that way. The water hurt his eyes, but he kept them open so he could see where he was going at least. Once he reached Aamori he was relieved to see that the blood was just coming form her legs, though still it unnerved him since he was sure that she hadn't fallen on glass or anything. He grabbed her and hauled her up to the surface quickly. "What happened to your legs!?" he asked as soon as he had her above water. He couldn't even touch the bottom anymore by them, so he just held onto his arms while he kicked below the surface. He knew that Aamori could swim fine for herself, but he was just holding onto her absently until he was sure she had her barrings and all.
Celestine still wasn't paying too much attention to anything, he was just gasping in air quickly. It barely registered to him when Kanone called Aamori's name, but the next thing he knew he was being pried off and pushed away. He wasn't facing Nero at the time so he didn't have time to latch onto him and almost instantly sank under the surface with a gasp. He flailed and then felt something behind him so he quickly turned and latched onto Nero's shirt to crawl back up to the surface like a cat on a pole, accidentally digging his claws into Nero's skin. As soon as he got his head back above water he latched onto Nero's neck for dear life while he coughed up the water that he'd just inhaled and shook his head before he went right back into those panicked gasping breaths. His eyes were wide as he looked at Nero and he again looked half wild. Prying him off would be no easy feat if he tried to, though...it was kind of obvious that if someone didn't hold him up he was just going to drown since he couldn't very well swim easily with his wings drenched and pulling him down. He was kicking his legs frantically, but it really wasn't doing him too much good.
Hikari sighed in relief when Kyran said that he was alright. She was already finding staying on her feet difficult so she started to stand on her toes until the water got too deep for that and then she just started to kick her legs and wave her amrs over the surface. "...This is getting ridiculous..." she muttered before she glanced over at the sound of a commotion on the other side of the room. She blinked and then looked for Aamori, though she didn't see her until Kanone resurfaced with her. "What happened!?" she called as she looked over the change of scene.

LaRae just barely caught sight of when Aamori went under the water again. It wasn't until Nanashi had called out Aamori's name that she really looked in that direction to see what had happened. She of course, for a brief moment had thought about going to see if Aamori was okay since she saw the blood on the water. She stayed where she was though since Kanone already seemed to be attaching Celestine to someone else and going after her. She started to relax a little, as much as she possibly could with everything considered. She startled a bit when she noticed that Nanashi was having trouble with the height the water had risen to and staying above it. She barely moved when Nanashi had finally grabbed hold of her arm. She started to go under at first because he'd grabbed her but she managed to keep herself above the water. She wanted to help him anyway since he appeared to be having so much trouble so she wasn't complaining. She never had to keep anyone but herself above water before so she wasn't sure how much work this would actually be. Again, she wasn't complaining. She'd do her best to make sure they were both staying above the water. She waited until after he had choked and gagged on the water to open her mouth. "If you can hold onto me, I'll try and keep you up too." She told him.
Nero was still standing with his arms crossed over his chest when he saw Kanone prying Celestine off of him. It was obvious that Kanone was going to go after Aamori since she was clearly bleeding but he wasn't so sure who was going to be stuck with Celestine. That was answered fast enough when Kanone pushed Celestine to him and told him to hold him. He startled very slightly and tried at least to get his hands free in time to grab Celestine but he'd already sank under the water. He scrunched his face up a little when he felt Celestine had turned around and was clawing his way up from the water. That was uncomfortable to no end, especially with the water being salty. Nothing he couldn't handle though. He choked when he felt Celestine latch onto his neck the way he had. He really wished that Kanone had pushed Celestine on someone else. The last thing he wanted to do was babysit him right now. Regardless of the way Celestine was acting he kept a straight face like usual. He stared at Celestine when he finally looked at him. The wide and wild look to Celestine's eyes really didn't phase him. He'd be over that soon enough. Either the water would go away or they'd all drown. He lifted one hand to Celestine's arm and tugged on it a little, not bothering to be forceful with him. He wouldn't have any trouble keeping himself above water and the extra weight from Celestine was manageable. He just wished that Celestine would stop kicking his legs and moving. He let out an exasperated sigh as he tugged again at Celestine's arm. "Do me a favor since I'm stuck with you." He started calmly. "Move onto my back and stop kicking your legs." He paused. "...I'll keep you from drowning..." He told him with a quiet sigh. If he was going to be stuck with the attachment he may as well do this right rather than halfassed.
Aamori was caught off guard by whatever had sliced her legs and knocked her into the water so when she went under she inhaled water rather than held her breath. She didn't even register really what happened so she hadn't even tried to get up to the surface. She started coughing immediately after she'd been hauled up to the surface. She heard Kanone ask what happened to her legs and it took her a moment to get her breath back before she could even give a coherent answer. The slices in her legs were at her shins, just below her knees. She'd been cut bad enough that the material from her boots had ripped a little bit further than where the scales had actually made contact which left the cuts easily visible. Unfortunately they were kind of deep, considering the force that was smacked against her. The salt water wasn't helping at all and the cuts were stinging terribly. She started to grind her teeth together for a moment before she looked at Kanone and tried to answer his question. "...I-I don't know..." She started. "Something sharp smacked against me." She answered him.
Kyran of course was the last to have to start kicking his legs to keep from going under, the bonus of being the tallest of the bunch. He had no trouble with staying above water. He could swim but it certainly wasn't his specialty. He looked in the same direction as Hikari when the commotion started and quirked a brow slightly. He never suspected that Aamori would have any trouble with the water whatsoever so he was curious as to what happened himself. Like usual though, Hikari got the question that was on his mind out before he could. He didn't wait for much of an answer though. He had already started to inch in that direction at least until something in the water had caught his eye. He was about to head for it until it started darting around. It was fast, much faster than he would have suspected. He could barely keep his eyes on it since it was nothing more than a blur under the water. He paused where he was and looked around for it again, trying to find it. He suddenly felt something slam into his midsection with an amazing force. Enough force that it actually sent him through the water to smack against the single mechanical pillar that was in the room. The pillar was already shorted thanks to Nobu and now it'd started cracking behind the force when Kyran's back crashed into it. It all happened so fast that he had the wind knocked out of him before he could even complain about the pain.
The barracuda grew alarmed when one of the dragons had noticed him. He thought that he had gone unnoticed and since he wasn't moving he didn't think it was likely that anyone would see him. When the thunder dragon did however he panicked a little and started darting around the room to gain some momentum. Once he was ready he launched his body into the dragons midsection, his sharp scales doing a nice job of cutting open the area he'd slammed his body against. After the thunder dragon hit the pillar he shot back over to the area where he'd thought he had gone unnoticed.
After Kyran's back slammed against the pillar and it started to crack and break the water lit up right around the pillar for a brief moment. The mechanical pillar was broken, in need of some major TLC. Moments after the pillar died the door that was in the floor had started to crack open. It moved slowly, inch by inch, but it was starting to open up and the water level was going to start going down.

Nanashi nodded weakly to LaRae when she told him that she would try to keep them both up. He was at least helping her by kicking his legs a bit, just not enough to keep him fully above water apparently. He loosened his grip on her arm a bit so that he wasn't squeezing it like he had been as he looked over to her again. He looked over to Aamori again briefly, glad to see that Kanone had gotten to her. He then looked back to LaRae again and was just about to open his mouth to speak when he noticed something whiz by him under the water, though he didn't have time to see what it was or if he'd even seen it for certain. Seconds later he startled when he heard Kyran collided with the pillar. "Kyran!!" he exclaimed, though there wasn't a whole lot that he could do since he couldn't move from LaRae. He looked around again, searching the water for whatever it was that he'd seen before. He only saw a dark blotch in the empty space of the room, though with the surface of the water moving the way that it was he couldn't really tell what it was. Somehow though...he had a feeling it was that mammoth fish that they'd seen earlier. "Damn..." he muttered quietly. He wanted to his his spetum ready, but he couldn't very well do much with it since he only had one free arm and it took two just to get it out of it's holster and put together.
Celestine didn't seem to want to loosen his grip at all when Nero started to tug on his arm. He was outright terrified considering the situation and he didn't want to risk losing whatever could keep him above water. After all...Nero was the last person he wanted to be stuck to right now, it wouldn't surprise him if the guy shoved him off, which was part of the reason he was trying so hard to swim. Of course with the way he was breathing that definitely wasn't helping him at all. When Nero started to speak to him he relaxed just a tad. He continued to stare at him with those panic stricken eyes as he tried to process his request, though after a moment his legs started to slow to a stop and his breathing seemed to calm down with them. It took him another moment to loosen his grip on Nero's neck and he timidly unwrapped one arm before he started to shimmy around to Nero's back like he'd asked him to. He froze when he heard the sound of Kyran slamming into the pillar and his grip involuntarily tightened on Nero again as he whipped his head around to see what in the world had happened. He stared at Kyran for a moment and then started to look around as his breathing slowly picked up pace again. Surely to god the guardian wasn't in here already. He knew he couldn't fight like this, he couldn't even let go of Nero.
Kanone continued to keep his grip on Aamori while he coughed and he waited for her answer. He nodded weakly before he looked down at the water again. His eyes were still stinging from the salt water, but he had already gotten a good idea that he legs didn't look too good. He startled when he heard Kyran's slam into the pillar and instinctively pulled Aamori closer to him while he wrapped his arms around her like he thought that was going to protect her from something. He looked over his shoulder quickly and squinted his eyes at the light. they were already stinging, and that definitely didn't help much. "What the hell!?" he hoped whatever had gotten Kyran wasn't the same thing that had gotten Aamori's legs but then again...what else was there?
Hikari had still been looking at Kanone and Aamori, waiting for an answer, though it seemed that everyone was a little preoccupied with whoever seemed to be next to them at the moment. She only barely heard Aamori's answer to Kanone. Finally she started to swim in that direction while glancing around a little, though she hadn't really gotten far when Kyran was blown past her into the pillar. Her eyes widened and she gasped before she quickly started to swim in that direction. "Kyran!!" She couldn't tell where he'd been hit, but she somehow had a feeling that he wasn't going to be able to swim very well if at all after a hit like that. She took a deep dreath and then submerged herself under the water, forcing her eyes to remain open. She managed to get to him fairly quickly at least, though she wasn't the best swimmer since she didn't get a lot of practice time on top of having her bow still attached to one arm. Once she reached him her eyes widened a little more when she saw the red in the water near him. She reached out to him and grabbed him under the arms before she started to struggle back up tot he surface. Once her head broke the surface she immediately turned her attention to Kyran again. "Kyran!? Are you alright!?" She couldn't even see his face from that positions since she'd grabbed him from behind.

Nero tried his best to keep calm while he waited for Celestine to do what he had asked him to do. If he had to he was fairly certain it wouldn't take too much to forcefully move him, but he'd rather not. It'd be so much easier to keep afloat and be able to protect himself and Celestine for that matter if his hands were free and easy to move. With Celestine in front of him it was pretty difficult to do anything at all, perhaps the main reason for wanting Celestine moved since he was pretty much stuck with him. He was a bit relieved when Celestine did finally listen to him and started to move around to his back. He didn't react to Kyran hitting the pillar right away. He was a little surprised by Celestine's sudden tightened grip first, then he turned his head to look in the pillars direction. After that he was already wanting to know what was in the water with them. There had to be something because there was no way that Kyran flew into that pillar on his own. He was starting to believe that what ever it was had to have come in through the opening in that glass wall which meant it likely hit Aamori first and now Kyran. If that was the case he was certainly happy to have his hands free.
Aamori could still feel the uncomfortable stinging in her cuts from the salt water. She was trying her best to ignore it but considering her pain tolerance level she wasn't getting very far. She startled as well when she heard Kyran slam into the pillar and before she could try and get a better look at what happened she felt Kanone pull her closer which caused her to look up at him. She wasn't upset or anything that he'd done that it just caught her a little off guard. She wished she knew what was going on. She hadn't been paying any attention to what had hit her with the exception that it hurt her and was sharp. She hoped that what ever had hit her hadn't hit Kyran or anyone else for that matter. She was really uncomfortable right now and she wasn't sure how others were going to handle the salt water in their cuts if they wound up with any because of what ever that was. Had there not been some force behind whatever hit her she might have thought it was just glass or something. She was really drawing a blank on what had hit her, then again she could have been close minded since she was overly focused on the pain she was feeling.
Kyran started coughing hard as soon as Hikari had his head clear of the water. He was kind of glad that someone had managed to help him up. He didn't foresee himself moving a whole lot right away and that wasn't exactly a good thing when he was underwater. He was at least wise enough to know where he was and know roughly what had happened, along with the fact that he needed to get out of the water. Getting out of the water happened a lot sooner thanks to Hikari. It took him a few moments of coughing and heavy breathing before he was able to speak. "...I-I think ...I-I'd be l-lying if I said y-yes..." He managed to say before he lifted a hand to press to his midsection. He could feel where he'd been sliced open thanks to what hit him and the salt water was doing nothing but aggravating the cuts. His back wasn't feeling that much better either thanks to it colliding with the pillar. Right about now he really wanted to just lay down or something. Anything to keep from adding to the pain he was already in. Unfortunately without the relic and a guardian still on the loose there wasn't any way that he could relax like he wanted. He removed his hand from his middle long enough to brush his wet hair from his face. Once he'd done that he dropped his hand right back down to hold his middle. He wasn't so sure how helpful he'd be at the moment with keeping himself afloat by himself so he really hoped that he wasn't straining Hikari too much.
The barracuda continued to stay where it was for a few minutes while it watched what the others were doing. He was tallying the number of dragons he'd already managed to attack and was debating on the next one that he wanted to go after. He startled slightly when he noticed the door in the floor was opening. It wasn't moving very fast and it did eventually stop just shy of being halfway open. At any rate the water was still seeping out and down the stairs rather than staying in the room where he wanted it. Soon enough everyone would likely be able to stand again which meant he'd have a little less water to work with. He wanted to get as many of the dragons as he could now. He started to dart around the room again until he was moving quickly again. He did finally decide on what he thought would be an easy target. An easy way to get two of them at once. He bound straight for the fire and earth dragon, an unusual pair if he ever saw one. Since the two of them were close like they were forcing himself between their bodies at his speed seemed like a good way to slice his scales through both of them at once. As soon as he was through them he wasted very little time retreating to his usual spot. If he did cut them both as he thought he would that meant he'd managed to attack half of them so far and hopefully he'd get the other four before the water level had sunken too much.

Nanashi kept his eyes on the dark spot for a moment before he looked away long enough to make sure that Kyran was alright. When he glanced back to where the spot had been it was already gone, though he thought he saw it flash by. He started to look around quickly, trying to find the thing again, but by the time he spotted it again it was too late. He was turned so that he was facing LaRae's side since it was easier to hold onto her arm that way, but unfortunately he didn't get to hold onto it for too much longer. He felt something slam into his side and grade it's way between him and LaRae's arm. He opened his mouth to scream, but not sound came out. He felt several sharp barbs tear through his skin-hugging shirt and into his abdomen, grading along the length of his stomach and the under side of his arms. The pain was enough to force him to let go of LaRae and the force dragged him back and under the water. He couldn't help but grab his stomach while he flipped about under the water. His eyes were shut tightly and for the time being he wasn't even sure which way was up. He didn't know how deep the gashes were but he could feel them running all along the length of his abdomen, where only shreds of his shirt remained, and stretching all the way from his right side to the left. The salt water made them burn like fire and made it extremely hard to tell how deep they were. After a few seconds he cracked his eyes open against the salty water and tried to glance down to his middle. He could barely even see his abdomen past the thick red cloud of blood that was floating up from it as he was sinking toward the floor. He felt his wings brush the stone floor and caught himself wondering if LaRae was alright as he looked up toward the surface. He wasn't sure how long he had been under, though it hadn't been all that long. Unfortunately, he hadn't gotten a chance to take a breath before he was pulled under, not to mention his mouth was wide open at the time and now full of water that he was trying his best not to gag on, so the air in his lungs wasn't pulling him toward the surface and the position that he'd wound up curled up in wasn't helping his case either. With all of that factored in even the short amount of time that he'd been under was enough to make his lungs burn for air. He half wondered which was going to come first, was he going to drown or bleed to death? He probably wasn't bleeding quite as badly as it seemed, not that he could really tell one way or another. The surface area of the wound was wide but he had no way of knowing how deep they were. Even at that, he had already been a bit anemic from his little experience a few days prior, so losing more blood so soon as this quickly was disorienting as well as tiring. He thought about struggling to get to the surface, but he couldn't seem to make himself move and it barely seemed worth the reason. After all, he was sure that LaRae was injured as well, probably just as badly, and he'd rather someone help her than bother with him. He was pretty much useless to the group for all intents and purposes and at this rate he wasn't going to be able to do shit for anyone. That little part of him that still wanted to believe that no one gave a shit about him was telling him that if he didn't get himself to the surface no one else was going to do it for him, but even still he couldn't get over the pain and worsening fatigue long enough to try to flip himself over and push up.
Celestine kept his grip firm on Nero since Nero wasn't holding onto him at all and he sure as hell didn't want to slip off. He continued to look over at Kyran and Hikari, trying to figure out if he was alright, though he could tell that the poor guy wasn't doing too good. He was trying to concentrate on something aside form how freaked out he was since there was obviously something else going on. He blinked when he saw something whizzing through the water and eventually heading straight for Nanashi and LaRae. "Nana—" he started but by the time he got out the first two syllables, Nanashi wasn't even visible anymore. He gasped and his grip on Nero tightened just a tiny bit more as he stared intently at where LaRae and Nanashi had been, hoping that neither of them were hurt too badly. His breath caught when he noticed the water changing a nice shade of red a few feet away from where they had been before that thing collided with them. He couldn't help but start searching the water nervously for whatever it was that kept attacking them, though all the while he seemed to be trying to get closer to Nero until his head was practically burrowed between his arm and Nero's neck. He was more or less a sitting fuck right now, at least until this water was low enough that he could stand, and even then his wings were be extremely heavy for a while, which would knock him completely off-balance so there still wasn't too much that he could do even then except for use his magic.
Kanone kept Aamori hugged to him closely as he looked around and watched for Kyran and Hikari to surface. "Kyran, you alive!?" he called, only half joking at the question. He knew he was alive, but by all the choking and coughing he was kind of starting to wonder if he was going to be alright. He listened for his response to Hikari and then looked back to Aamori again to see how she was fairing with her injuries. He wasn't sure if she was swimming for herself or if he was the only thing holding her up for now. He could imagine swimming to be a bit difficult with her legs like that, but then again she was the best swimmer of all of them so he wouldn't really know if what would be hard for him would be that bad for her. His ears twitched when he heard Celestine start to say something and then heard a splash behind him. He turned his head back and quickly noticed the...absence of Nanashi and dislocation of LaRae. He looked around for a moment until he noticed one of the new red clouds under the water. Well...that definitely didn't look too good. He waited to see Nanashi again but started to grow rather edgy when he didn't resurface. He hadn't even noticed that LaRae was the one keeping him above water though...it kind of would make since for someone from the fire clan to be incapable of swimming. "Shit...shit..." he muttered quietly. He was about ready to go on another die and rescue mission if he had to. "Can you keep yourself up?" he asked Aamori quickly as he started to loosen his grip on her.
Hikari held onto Kyran tightly while he coughed and tried to catch his breath and then shifted her hold on him a bit, pulling him back a little so that he was more horizontal than vertical while she supported his head with her arm. She raised her other hand and gently caressed his cheek as she gazed down at him with deeply worried eyes. She glanced against at where he was bleeding, wishing that she could examine it, though she knew that was near impossible at the time being. "Don't worry...I've got you," she said quietly as she wrapped her other arm around him to hold him up a little more. She gasped when she heard the splash of someone else going down as well as Celestine starting to call Nanashi's name, so she could only assume that it was him. She was at a bit of an awkward position to turn around to see though, so she couldn't be entirely sure. She couldn't see a thing from the way that she turned her head...well nothing but red in the water.
((lol poor Nanashi... I was in a mean mood while typing that. XD;; And um...yeah have no idea of how deep those scales even can cut, hence the unspecificness. *really could have used LaRae to know what happened to her* lol XD; I just did Nanashi first to have...something to post on everyone else. XD; ))

LaRae had been too focused on how Kyran was doing to even notice whatever it was that came between her and Nanashi like it did. She startled and cried out when she felt something sharp scrapping across her arm. After whatever it was had gone her immediate reaction was to throw her other hand over the arm that had been hurt. She didn't get pushed too far away from where she'd been and she only bobbed under the water for a few moments before she started kicking her legs again and kept her head above water. She winced and tightened her grip on her own arm when she started feeling the salt water stinging the cuts in her arm. She started to move her hand a little just to see how much of her arm was actually cut. It felt like the lacerations ran from just below her shoulder down to a couple inches from her wrist. Now that she was trying to pay attention she moved her hand from her arm and felt along her side a little. Whatever had cut her must have been flexible because it felt like she had a couple minor cuts, maybe even just scratches, on either side of her middle that lined up with where her arm had been pressed against her. She started to pull her arm up from the water so that she could see how bad it really was, in the process of doing that her eyes went wide and she clearly panicked as she looked for Nanashi. It had completely slipped her mind that he had been holding onto her just before that happened. "Crap!" She muttered under her breath while she frantically looked around for Nanashi. It wasn't all that hard to find him, even if he was under water. She hesitated for a moment because she wanted to help him but she wasn't all that sure that she could still pull him out of the water. She didn't bother debating with herself very long before she completely ignored the fact that she was hurting and submerged herself to go after him. She kept her eyes open through the agitation of the salt water and swam to where he was. When she reached him she got behind him and hooked her good arm under his shoulder and then reached her hand to across him towards his other shoulder. That at least was the easiest way she could think to get a hold of him without using her other arm. Once she had a decent enough hold on him she planted her feet to the floor and pushed off of it as hard as she could. She knew she'd have a lot of trouble trying to swim him up, so the force with pushing off from the bottom would help. She managed to get both their heads just above water though she wasn't positive that she could easily keep them both that way with only one good arm.
Nero caught sight of something dark in the water just before whatever it was had reached LaRae and Nanashi. He watched it while it collided with the two of them and then tried his best to follow it. That was easier said than done, however. It was a lot easier to follow it when it wasn't far away from him. He did manage to spot it off on the other side of the room where no one was. He tilted his head slightly and started to move one of his hands down to his side while he lifted his knee up so that he could fish out one of his brass knuckles. He slipped it on his right hand and tightened his grip. He hadn't moved a whole lot in getting the knuckle so he hoped Celestine wasn't going to spaz out on him. He'd done pretty well to try and ignore Celestine, even when he tightened his grip. After a few moments he noticed that he could just barely touch the floor, finally. If he could touch the floor then that meant the water was receding. If his feet were on the floor than that also meant that Kyran would be able to stand, Kyran was only two inches taller than him after all. He kept his eyes towards that dark spot in the water. That thing moved quickly so he didn't really want to take his eyes off of it.
Aamori hadn't really been bothering to try and keep herself up. Since Kanone had her she'd taken advantage of not having to move her legs. All things considered she was quite content where she was and not having to strain her legs was fine with her. She tilted her head slightly when he asked if she could keep herself up. "...Yes ...I think so..." She guessed she could if she had to. She was barely paying attention to what had happened to LaRae and Nanashi. All she knew is that something had attacked them as well. Of course if her legs weren't hurting she'd have gone over there herself. She stared up at Kanone for a moment since he was loosening his grip. She sighed quietly and lifted her hands and suddenly pushed herself away from him. She figured that he wanted to go help Nanashi and she wasn't hurt that badly comparatively speaking so she figured it wouldn't kill her to keep herself afloat. As soon as she was free of him she fell under the water for a brief moment before she started kicking her legs to keep herself up. She clenched her teeth together through the motion trying to ignore the fact that it stung more to move her legs even in the slightest.
Kyran tried his best to relax as much as possible after he heard Hikari say that she had him. His expression at least started to soften up. He still kept his one arm pressed over where he'd been injured. He was actually kind of glad that there was water in the room. As much as he hated the prospect of drowning or anything like that it was kind of nice to have the water to keep him afloat without any pressure on his back. He had no idea how badly that had been hurt but he knew it was painful and he had hit something pretty hard. That something he assumed was the pillar since there wasn't anything else in the room that he really could have hit that wasn't a wall. He startled slightly when he heard the splash and Celestine starting to say Nanashi's name. Of course he wanted to get up and see what happened but he wasn't in any shape to be doing that and he knew it. Still, with the shape that Nanashi had been in the past couple days he couldn't help worrying about the guy. He did his best to look up at Hikari. "..Go check on Nanashi." He told her quietly. If the same thing that hit him hit Nanashi than he was pretty sure that he would be bleeding and Nanashi was the last one in the group that needed to be bleeding. So of course he wanted Hikari to go check on Nanashi rather than stay here holding him.
The barracuda didn't waste a whole lot of time deciding on who to go after next. He didn't even care that the ones he'd already hit were being looked after by others who hadn't. That just meant that if he was lucky he'd get to hit someone he'd already attacked, again. He decided that he wanted to go after the group that he hadn't touched yet. Though he wasn't too sure how he wanted to go about getting that wind dragon as well that was on the dark dragon's back. He started to move a little where he was, ignoring the fact that some of the dragons were growing concerned with the last bunch that he'd attacked. He finally started darting again, deciding that he should go after the dark dragon first and hit the wind one on the rebound since he didn't think he could get between them like he did the fire and earth. He neared the dark dragon rather quickly and was just about to turn to the side slightly to slam his body against the dark dragon when he felt something really hard and sharp collide with his body and send him smacking into the floor. He was extremely disoriented for a few moments after he hit the floor but quickly enough got right back to swimming away from that dark dragon, at a much slower pace than before. That was uncomfortable.
Nero saw the dark space in the water take off and he readied his hand adorned with the brass knuckle. He simultaneously lifted his free hand to firmly grab hold of Celestine's arm. He wasn't sure that thing was coming after them next but if it was he wanted to be ready. He caught a quick glimpse of the dark spot when it got closer and he pulled his hand back preparing to try and hit it. He tightened his grip on his knuckle and on Celestine's arm and then threw his fist into the water with a hefty amount of force. As he did so of course his own head wound up in the water because when he'd hit the thing with his knuckle he forced it down towards the floor. He likely pulled Celestine under with him for a brief moment until he'd stood upright again. Once he was upright again he opened his eyes and blinked a couple times before lifting his fist out of the water to inspect his knuckle. He kept a straight face even when he noticed that the spikes had been broken. They were all jagged and broken in different heights. He easily came to the conclusion that, that thing had a pretty good defense if it was able to break the spikes of his brass knuckle.

Nanashi was almost surprised when he saw LaRae through the water and he half wondered if he was seeing things. He felt her wrapping her arm around him and almost absently raised one to wrap around her as well while gritting his teeth together. About the time that she kicked off of the floor he lost it and his air escaped so it was fortunate that the trip to the surface was a short one. As soon as his head broke the surface he spat out the water in his mouth and took in a deep, gasping breath before he started coughing roughly. Every movement made his midsection hurt even more so after a few moments of coughing and gasping he tried his best to make himself stop by taking in huge gulps of air, though getting the coughs under control was difficult. He clung to LaRae tightly and when he finally managed to get his eyes open again he glanced over to her. "...A...are...y-you......alright?" he choked out between coughs. He wanted to just curl in on himself and float there, but he tried to keep his legs moving so that LaRae wasn't doing all the work. Unfortunately it seemed that he wasn't going to be too much help in that area anymore, not that he had been before. He kept his other arm pressed firmly against his midsection to try to slow the bleeding or...something... He didn't know if it was helping anything or just made him feel better, but either way, that arm wasn't going anywhere.
Kanone nodded slightly when Aamori said that she could manage herself and then pushed away from him. He almost hated to make her do that herself, but right now it looked like LaRae needed to help staying afloat a little more than she did since her attachment was kind of incapacitated at the moment. He swam over to the two of them quickly, paying no mind to what else may have been floating around him. As soon as he reached LaRae he sucked in his breath in a cringe at the sight of her arm before he wrapped one of his around her to help her stay afloat. "Here, I've got you, hang onto him," he told her as he looked over to Nanashi when he heard him as LaRae if she was alright and then glanced down at the water, which was still turning shades of red, "oh hell..." He hoped that wasn't as much blood as it looked like it was. He didn't even bother asking if either of them were alright...judging by the color the water was turning the answer was pretty obvious.
Hikari looked down to Kyran when he told her that to go check on Nanashi and she nodded as she tried to ease him up a little so that he wouldn't drop when she let go. Slowly, she moved her arms away from him and stayed just long enough to make sure that he was going to be alright light that before she turned and started to swim back in Nanashi's direction. She saw that Kanone had already beaten her there, but she guessed checking on Nanashi was still an option. She didn't like how red the water was turning around Nanashi considering that meant he'd probably been hit in about the same manner as Kyran had and that...wasn't going to be too good, especially when it came to her healing them all up. After all...she couldn't very well heal them while they were submerged in salt water.
Celestine gasped quietly when Nero moved to get his knuckle but managed to calm himself down before he did spazz out. He just had to keep telling himself that as long as he was holding on, he was fine. When the thing that he'd noticed earlier came in their direction he nearly froze and then shut his eyes tightly, already anticipating a very painful impact. He felt Nero's hand on his arm, but he didn't open his eyes just yet so he was taken completely off guard when they wound up under water. His head was still on Nero's shoulder, so he didn't even get a chance to avoid going under with him. As soon as Nero stood up again Celestine started to cough since he had inhaled about the time that they'd gone under and as soon as he was finished coughing he started gasping in hair. He didn't even know what had just happened other than he'd been dunked, but he knew that he wasn't hurt. He quickly turned his attention to Nero, "Nero, a-are—" he started, but then cut himself off when he noticed that Nero was just examining his broken weapon. He easily drew the same conclusion that Nero had and that...was unsettling. After a moment he let out a shakey breath and leaned his head against Nero's again while he tried to keep himself from panicking even more. He just continued to take in deep breaths, trying to make sure that he kept the pace slow and even rather than the rapid breaths he'd been taking earlier when he nearly suffocated himself. He was trying his best not to choke Nero, though his grip only seem to get tighter every time something unnerved him and he was probably about to get to that point...after all you could only cling to someone's neck so tightly before they lost the ability to breathe properly.

LaRae lifted her eyes and looked over to Kanone when she noticed him heading over. She stared at his face for a moment when he cringed and then she glanced down to her arm. She really had pushed that out of her mind in order to help Nanashi. She was still trying to ignore it since right now nothing was going to come from worrying about it. She startled slightly when felt Kanone wrap one of his arms around her. She let out a quiet sigh when he said that he had her and to hold onto Nanashi. She nodded weakly after she relaxed a little. She lowered her eyes towards Nanashi when he asked his question. Of course she glanced back towards her arm a little. She caught herself before she got another good look at it and turned her eyes away. "...I'll be okay." She answered. "...I don't think it's that bad..." She fibbed. Compared to his injury hers really wasn't that bad. Not to mention hers was the least of her worries. She just hoped that Nanashi couldn't see her arm and Kanone didn't correct her judgment on her own injury, even if she was lying about it.
Nero continued to eye his weapon for a moment longer. His ears twitched slightly when he heard Celestine start to say something. He was a little surprised that Celestine hadn't just panicked himself into hyperventilating and passing out. Well, at least Celestine was trying to keep a hold of himself rather than let his fear take over completely. He shifted slightly now that his feet were on the ground and then looked back towards that dark spot in the water. It didn't appear to be moving right now, at least not anywhere from where it was. He finally got a little annoyed with how tight Celestine's grasp was getting and pulled back a little on his arm. "You can loosen your grip and relax." He started. "The water level is going down... or haven't you noticed I'm standing up now?" He asked as he glanced down at the water. He was a little curious to know how long this was going to take for the water to go down completely. He was more than ready to loose his attachment.
Aamori looked over at Nero when she heard him say that the water level was going down. She hadn't noticed, at least not until he pointed it out. Nero was indeed standing which was probably why he was able to hit that thing with as much force as he had. She glanced around a little curious to see if anyone else had regained their footing yet. She turned in the water slightly so that she was facing the opening where the water had come in and dipped under a little so that she could see better. She stared at the opening for a moment and then happened to notice that the door was open a little. Since she was already under the water she continued over towards the door as best as she could, trying to ignore her legs for now. She could feel the water being sucked into the opening but it wasn't going fast enough for her liking. She reached out and grabbed hold of the door and tried to pull it back since it didn't appear to be moving any more. She felt it give a little but not much. She couldn't help thinking it'd be easier to slide the door back if she was stronger. Unfortunately for her all of the boys were a little... busy. She pulled her hands back and resurfaced. She glanced around a little before she got an idea. She reached down to her dress and brushed it aside so she could get to her holster. She removed her staff and then dropped down again. She went right back to the door and started to set her staff horizontally in the opening. She opened it a little so that it made a tight fit and then started to depress the button again and hold it down. She watched while her staff slowly started to push the door open further which of course was causing the water to escape faster and faster as her staff continued to force the door back into place.
The barracuda stayed where he was for a decent amount of time this time. He didn't like being hit like that one bit and it actually hurt a little, especially being forced to the floor. Getting to that dark dragon was apparently going to be harder than it was to get the others that he'd already attacked. Then that dark dragon was also watching out for that wind dragon, so for now he'd just have to change his target. It didn't take him long to notice that the light dragon wasn't with the thunder dragon anymore, which meant she'd be easy enough to get to. He started picking up a little momentum in the area where he was and then began to launch himself at her. He wasn't moving quite as fast as before, courtesy of that dark dragon but he was still quick. He got dangerously close to throwing his body against the light dragon when he noticed what the water dragon was doing. He had already known that the water level was going down but now he had to worry about that damn door being opened further, resulting in the water escaping faster than he wanted. He was less than pleased and he slammed on the breaks so that he could go after the water dragon, again. Since he was so close to the light dragon when he decided to change course there was probably a good chance that he caught her with the end of body and or his tail before he shot off for the water dragon. He picked up speed a little while he headed for his new target and didn't even bother to angle his body to hit her, instead he aimed to hit her head on. Within moments he'd collided with her ramming his head into her chest and sending her flying back into broken glass wall just behind her. Once she was clear of the door he turned back to look at it and only grew more annoyed because the staff that was lodged in the door had it opened all of the way now and the water was pouring out at an incredibly fast speed. He shifted and quickly swam away from the door so that he didn't get sucked out along with the water. After a moment the pressure from the water forcing it's way out wiggled the staff free of the door and sent it down the stairs.

Kanone looked at LaRae's arm again after she answered Nanashi, but he didn't bother to contradict what LaRae said since he knew she was probably just saying that to keep Nanashi from worrying. He blinked when after another few moments he felt his feet brush the ground and then sighed heavily and planted them. He was only a tiny bit taller than LaRae, so he knew she'd be able to stand soon enough. "Finally... Hold on a few seconds and you can put your feet down," he told her. He looked at Nanashi again and then bit his lower lip lightly in concern. Well...at least the guy could stand on his own now since they were roughly the same height.
Nanashi nodded weakly to LaRae when she said that it wasn't that bad. He would just have to take her word for it. "...I..I'm...g-glad..." he muttered quietly. He felt his feet brush against the ground and tried to stand up, but the motion nearly caused him to double over in pain. He gritted his teeth together and shut his eyes tightly while he tried to keep from complaining or crying or doing half of the things he felt like doing right about now. After all, he wasn't the only one who was hurt and he knew it, no one else was making a fuss about it. He imagined Kyran was probably hurting ten times worse than he was and he didn't hear him whining. He tightened his grip on LaRae slightly and sucked in his breath before he raised his head again to look up to LaRae again. His eyes still looked rather unfocused as he looked at her, but he finally just closed his eyes again and let his head hang when he started to feel too light headed.
Celestine gasped when he felt Nero pull at his arm and resisted slightly until he told him that he could relax and loosen his grip. He only then realized that he'd only been trying to loosen his arms rather than pry him off. He finally started to relax his grip slowly and then moved his arms down from his neck to hold more to his shoulders as he glanced down. "...I can't see your feet..." he said quietly in answer to Nero's question; that would be a, 'no,' he hadn't noticed that he was standing. "J-just...don't drop me yet...I'm shorter than you," he reminded him quietly. So long as the water was over his head it was kind of hard to relax. After all, he knew well enough that Nero didn't want to be holding onto him in the first place, so it wouldn't surprise him if the guy dumped him off as soon as he thought it was a good time.
Hikari was about halfway to the others when the fish got to her. She hadn't really been paying attention to what was around her, she was just trying to get to Nanashi as fast as she could in this amount of water. The amount of blood floating around him was a bit alarming. She yelped, more from surprise than anything, when she felt something slam into her hip. "OW!" She bobbed under the water for a moment before she resurfaced again quickly and caught slightly. She looked back and saw the blood floating out of the wounds on her hip where the thing had apparently torn through her shorts and bitten into the upper part of her thigh. Thankfully, it wasn't all that serious, but it still stung considerably from the saltwater. She shook it off and continued swimming toward Nanashi and LaRae. She soon noticed that the water was receding quickly and she was soon able to see half of Nanashi's torso, which was more than enough for her to get a good assessment of the damage. His skin was torn open and the front of his shirt had nearly been torn completely off. from what she could see nearly all of the exposed skin on his chest was red both due to the blood and the raw flesh, some of which seemed to be graded off all together. He almost looked like someone had just dragged him along a giant cheese grader a few times. As soon as she got there she moved to his other side and placed her arm on his shoulder. She wished the water would hurry up and get down below the wounds so she could get around to healing them. She glanced at LaRae again, noting her arm and then looked at Kanone who seemed to be getting ready to make a break for it.
Kanone's head snapped back in Hikari's direction when he heard her yelp and then caught sight of the fish darting off again. He followed it with his eyes until it was just about to collide with Aamori, whom he'd only just now realized wasn't where he'd left her. His eyes widened when he saw her go flying back into the glass and he quickly darted around behind Nanashi and LaRae and grabbed the bottom end of Nanash's spetum before jerking it out of the holster, "Borrowing this!" he said before he took a breath and dove under the water, since he could sill move faster that way than any other right now. He'd just taken the smaller end of the weapon so he wouldn't be completely empty handed with that fish still over in that general area. He was trying to get to Aamori, but at the same time, he wasn't letting his eyes off of that fish. He felt the water trying to pull him toward the opening, but he wasn't letting it get anywhere. He had the pointy edge of the spetum ready to kabob the damn fish if ti got close enough to him to do so. He had noticed it seemed to be going after just about everyone that was open to go after so he anticipated it trying something. If it did, he was ready for it, if it didn't...well that was fine with him. He just wanted to get to Aamori and make sure that she was alright.
