Kanone looked over to Levana again when she spoke to him. He hadn't really heard what had gotten Marius's attention either, but he hadn't really been listening to anything but the rumble of his own stomach before. He smiled slightly at Levana and then shook his head, "Thanks...but I think this should be fine," he told her lightly. "Mother always told me I had a stomach of scrap iron." He laughed softly and then went back to his food again. He could eat almost anything without getting sic, except for blood, apparently. Otherwise it took a lot to make him sick, so he didn't think he'd have too much trouble eating most of not all of what he was given and then going to back to bed. He finally gave a curious look at the juice and picked up the glass carefully to take a small sip before he shuddered and made a few weird faces. He tilted his head and then took another sip without such a strong reaction, though he did make another face as if trying to figure out whether he liked it or not. Apparently he did because he took another small sip before he put it down, this time managing not to distort his face too much.

Esen gave LaRae's face another small lick when she told her that she would be alright and then whined softly. She could tell that she was in pain even if she wasn't showing it that much. Once LaRae started trying to push herself up Esen shifted around to stand behind her and dusked her head under her to push against her back when she seemed to be struggling to sit up. Once she'd gotten upright she laid down again right against LaRae's back so that she could lean back against her and not fall over backwards or anything. She looked at her arm and whined against softly before lowering her head slightly and running her slender forked tongue over the area before the cuts that the cast had made to clean away the blood since she apparently couldn't hold her arm herself.

As soon as Marius exited the house he started off the porch and glanced around to look for LaRae. He sighed softly when he saw her and then started over to her, though he cringed slightly when he saw the blood and burns on her arm. "LaRae..." He sighed softly as he knelt down beside her and looked at the shattered pieces of the cast on the ground. "...Mm....I should have tried this..." he said quietly as he laid his hand on her shoulder gently. She probably would have come out better off if he had tried to do it himself. He didn't really like the look of those cuts but he guessed they could be cleaned and bandages up along with everything else. "...Are you alright?" he asked softly, not that there was too much he could do to make her feel any better if she wasn't. "...Levana is going to need something to make a splint with....can you make something that she can use?"

Levana nodded her head lightly. "Your grandfather did state that you'd eat just about anything set in front of you." She commented. If his stomach was really 'scrap iron' than he was probably every chef's dream. Especially for beginning chef's. She lifted her glass from the counter and took a sip before glancing back towards Kanone. After catching the faces that he was making from the juice she really wished she had swallowed completely. She was thankful that she had decently quick reflexes. She was able to turn back to the counter and set her glass down and then place her hand over her mouth while she tried not to laugh and choke on her drink at the same time. It took her a moment to swallow the rest of her drink and once she had she started coughing a little.

LaRae was a little surprised at just how helpful Esen was trying to be. She was being a great help she just hadn't expected it from an animal. She was just so used to the animals she'd been around back home in Medini. Those ones were all pretty dumb, at least for the most part. She glanced down at her arm when she felt Esen's tongue on her arm. She watched her for a moment before lifting the back of her sand covered hand to try and brush Esen away. "...You don't need to be licking that." She told her quietly. She shifted her gaze slightly when she heard Marius and looked up at him. She smiled weakly after listening to him and hearing his question. She was at least trying not to look like she was in pain. It hurt; a lot. But she had learned long ago that it was pretty much pointless to show how much pain she was in. It wasn't like that was going to help get anything taken care of any sooner and besides she usually just got made fun of if someone was near. At least that's how it was in her clan. She glanced down to her arm briefly and then back up to Marius. "...Like I told Esen, I'll be okay." She believed so anyway. Even if Hikari couldn't heal her arm right away or never got to for that matter, she was still young and her bones would do some healing on their own; with time. She stared at Marius for a moment after he asked if she could make something that Levana could use for splinting her arm. She nodded her head slightly. Making something for splints wasn't going to be that hard, after all she made knives easily enough. She set her hand back into the sand for a moment, the aura only appearing briefly before two pieces of wood came up out of the sand. She reached over with her hand and pulled them free from the sand one at a time before she started to hand them over to Marius. They were about as long as her forearm and decently thick. They certainly weren't easy enough to break with just bare hands. "Two should work... right?" She asked before she started to shift a little and tried to get back on her feet. Again she struggled a little with the process and even stumbled forward a little once she was upright. She may have been pretty nimble on her feet without her boots but sand wasn't her usual terrain of choice. Not to mention she'd already lost a lot of blood from that arm from yesterday and now she was losing more out of it. Most of the cuts were deep so the bleeding wasn't stopping right away on it's own.

Kanone's ear twitched slightly when he heard Levana couching and then glanced back to her again, tilting his head slightly while still holding a strip of bacon half in his mouth. He broke off a piece and chewed quickly before he spoke again. "Are you alright?" he asked, sounding a little concerned. He hadn't realized that she'd been laughing at him, he'd gone right back to stuffing his face as soon as he put the drink down again. He was still holding up the half of the bacon strip like he was ready to take another bite out of it, but he was waiting for a response first. He hoped she wasn't getting sick or something.

Esen whined softly and withdrew her tongue when LaRae pushed her head back, though she just nuzzled against her back gently by means of apology. She wasn't actually licking the wounds, she was just trying to keep her from getting blood all down her arm. Her ears perked up when she heard Marius approaching and she shrank down a little, though she was glad to see someone else out here to help...well someone that could actually do something.

Marius glanced down to the canine when LaRae mentioned a strange name. This was the first that he'd really seen Esen, so he wasn't too sure what to make of her. He lowered his hand to the top of her head briefly and rubbed it a little, though his eyes rather quickly went back to LaRae's arm. She really didn't need to tell him how much it hurt for him to figure it out. It just looked painful. He watched as she went to make the two sticks and then nodded slightly when she asked if two would be enough. "I would hope so...I don't know that she planned to box your arm in," he said with a weak smile as he took them from her. Once she started to get up he pushed himself up as well, though he wanted to try to help her up he was on the wrong side to be able to attempt it since he didn't want to grab her broken arm. Once she managed to get up he moved in front of her and caught her by the shoulders when she started to stagger before he moved around to her opposite side and took a hold of her arm gently. "Careful, now..." he said softly, "don't hurt yourself any worse by falling on it." He offered her a weak smile and then sighed quietly, "Come on, let's go get this taken care of so we can have breakfast...if any of us are even still hungry after this." He chuckled weakly and then motioned with his head for her to turn and get a move on back toward the house. Obviously he intended to help her over and make sure that she didn't fall since he never let go of her other arm. He wasn't too used to walking on sand, but it didn't really seem to effect him too badly other than causing mild pain in his hip from the uneven movements, though that didn't really show. Sleeping where he had decided to really didn't help his soreness from the day before that much at all.

Levana managed to get her coughing under control relatively quickly and then reached for a napkin from the holder on the counter. She wiped her face a little and then turned to the side a little so that she could look over at Kanone. She nodded her head. "Yes, I'm alright." She answered and then cleared her throat quietly. "I just choked on my drink, that's all." She added. She didn't want to come right out and admit that she'd choked on the drink because she'd wanted to laugh at the faces he had been making. She shook her head lightly and reached for her drink again. This time she took a small sip this time and then set it back down on the counter. "...I think that the juice here takes some getting used to if you're not originally from Kairava." She started as she looked back at Kanone. "Celestine made some faces himself the first time he had a glass."

LaRae looked over at Marius after he had taken her arm and said to be careful and that she didn't need to hurt herself worse by falling on her broken arm. She sighed quietly and looked down at her arm. "I think I broke it by falling on it." She muttered quietly. "...I was helping Nanashi down some stairs and he went out like a light rather suddenly and took me with him a short distance. I wound up stopping on my arm with all my weight on the edge of a step." She explained. She was ready to eat, or had been rather. Her stomach would probably be growling like there was no tomorrow but the pain in her arm kind of won out over that. She merely nodded her head slightly after he'd said 'let's go' and then started back towards the house. She didn't bother fighting him while he held her arm. She really didn't need to take a dive because she wasn't walking as well as she should be. She continued to the stairs and immediately wanted to lift her left hand to reach for the railing but of course that was currently impossible. She couldn't even flex her fingers that well at the moment and her forearm was broken. There was just no way in hell that she was using that for anything. She sighed heavily and proceeded to try getting up the stairs without holding onto anything with relying on Marius' aid alone.

Kanone smiled slightly when she said that she choked on her drink and then started about Celestine making faces too, "Ahhh..." he said in an understanding tone. Obviously it didn't take much for him to catch on to what had caused her to choke. He laughed quietly and shook his head a little, "Sorry... It does taste...different. We mostly just drink water or apple juice or something where I'm from, usually the spring water. This is really...um...hmm...what's the word....tangy?" He shrugged slightly, "It packs a punch." He glanced back to his plate again and finally went about finishing up that piece of bacon he'd been holding. "Oh...by the way, thank for making breakfast." He chuckled slightly, "You're a life saver. If Gramps cooked it we'd all be eating charcoal." Marius had a very bad habit of forgetting that he had food on until he could smell it and but then it was usually burned to a crisp.

Esen titled her head a little when Marius reached to pet her and then let LaRae get up. She didn't bother moving from where she was again since she was no longer really needed for anything. She just sighed again and looked off toward the bridge again, still wishing that Celestine could hurry up and come back already.

Marius listen quietly to LaRae's story of how her arm ended up like this in the first place, "Ahh...I see..." he said quietly once she was finished, "That sounds painful... You're both lucky that you weren't hurt worse than that." Once they reached the stairs Marius went ahead and stepped up onto the first tep and stood still, holding onto LaRae's arm a little more firmly while she came up the step herself before he moved up to the next one, letting her be the one to pace them. He was pretty sure once they got out of the sand she would be doing a little better, but he stayed close and kept a hold of her just in case he did need to catch her. After all, he really didn't want her to hurt herself any more than she already was. The last thing they needed was for her to twist the break until the bone was protruding from the skin or something. Once they'd managed to get to the top of the stairs he guided her to the door and then reached to open it so they could get back inside, though he let her go ahead since he'd only opned the one door.

Levana took another sip from her drink before looking at at Kanone. She shook her head. "You don't have to apologize. I'm well aware that it's tangy. There are mostly tropical fruits here so that's what the juices are usually made from." She paused. "If you haven't grown up with the taste or drink similar tasting things regularly it does kind of catch you off guard the first time you try it, or at least I'm seeing that more and more thanks to the people who come to visit." She smiled when she heard him say his thanks for her having made breakfast. "You're welcome." She responded. "Your grandfather told me about that already, though it wasn't quite said the same way." She chuckled quietly. She stepped away from the counter when she heard the door open. She looked down the hall toward the door and watched LaRae and Marius as they were coming inside. She glanced to the table briefly kind of glad to see that one of the first aid kits was already out here. That saved her having to go get the other one from the room that Hikari was resting in.

LaRae could only nod her head a little when Marius said that it sounded painful. It was painful and she certainly had a couple small bruises on her body to add to the broken arm. Thankfully though the bruises weren't anything major and they weren't very noticeable. She was relieved to have had Marius' help up the stairs. Without a doubt she could easily have taken a fall and hurt herself more without it. After Marius had opened the door and let her go she stepped past the threshold and continued into the house a little. She glanced back to Marius briefly to make sure that he was still behind her before she started to head towards the kitchen once more.

Kanone laughed quietly when he heard Levana's comment about realizing the juice was tangy if you weren't used to it. There really weren't very many tangy fruits in Caledonia...the closest you could get there was a strawberry. He snickered when she said that Marius had already said that he couldn't cook...more or less. "Haha....well at least he admits it," he said simply, "He's absolutely lost in the kitchen. Eh...heh....though I'm not far behind." Honestly, Kanone could cook meat decently, but other than that he may as well just eat whatever it was raw. He glanced back when he heard the door open and then blinked when he saw LaRae's arm. "Ooow what'd you do?"

Marius stepped inside just behind LaRae and was in the process of closing the door behind him when she looked back to make sure he was there. He gave her a reassuring smile and then waited for her to start forward before he fell in place right behind her again, not quite as worried now about her losing her balance, but still staying close all the same. After all, he didn't know how well she was focusing on where her feet were going or anything so just in case she happened to trip over her own foot or something to that effect.

Levana eyed LaRae's arm a little more closely after Kanone had asked what she'd done. She didn't know how she missed it the first time she looked over at them. It had obviously bled and probably still was, at least a little bit. Then the burns running from her wrist to just a little past her elbow didn't look too good either. She sighed quietly. Maybe leaving her to get that cast off all by herself really wasn't the best idea. She came out of that looking worse than she did when she went in. Though, she really wasn't sure of how to get that cast off herself and at least LaRae had succeeded in getting it removed. She shook her head very lightly and then motioned for LaRae to follow her over to the sink. Once she reached the sink she turned the water on and started waiting for it to warm up a little so that she could clean the blood from her arm before she got to work.

LaRae glanced over to Kanone when she heard him speak and ask her what she'd done. She wasn't entirely sure what the best way to go about explaining to to him was. To her knowledge he didn't really know what the stuff was that had been put on her arm or at least she didn't think he knew what it was. She didn't really want to get into a long winded explanation either. Her arm hurt and she was hungry, the faster she got her arm taken care of the sooner she could get some food in her stomach. "...I was trying to get this rather hard cast off of my arm ...and this is the final byproduct." She answered quietly before noticing Levana motion her towards the sink. She guessed if Kanone had any further questions, Marius knew a decent amount. He even had a very rudimentary knowledge of the cast material that was used on her arm. She smiled weakly when she reached the sink and looked at Levana. While she had the chance she reached over and stuck her right hand under the water first so that she could rinse the sand and blood of her hand. After she had cleaned her hand off she focused back on Levana since she had reached over to take her broken arm to put it under the water.

Levana took LaRae's arm gently and slid it under the running water so that she could start washing the blood from her arm. She was careful while cleaning up her arm and once the blood was gone she moved over to the stove and grabbed the cloth hanging from the stove before returning to the sink. She dabbed gently at LaRae's arm trying to dry it a little before she went further. The cuts on her arm were easier to see now that they weren't covered in blood. They were still bleeding a little, or rather they were trying to. She sighed softly and let LaRae's arm rest gently in her left hand while she lifted her right hand and placed it over top of LaRae's arm. There was roughly two or three inches of space between her hand and LaRae's arm at the moment. Her hand quickly became engulfed in a blueish aura and the same type of dome from last night spread from her hand down onto LaRae's arm. She didn't speak or utter a single word, she just worked quietly. Moving slowly from one area of cuts to the next. With only using one hand she could only create a smaller dome than before so it took a little longer to get every cut since they weren't all conveniently in the same area on her arm. Thankfully these cuts on LaRae were nothing other than a little deep. They were taken care of with ease. Once she had finished healing the cuts she released LaRae's arm and then dusted her hands off on her dress a little before she started over to the table. "All we need to do now is get that splinted and in a sling." She said aloud, though it was obvious that was the next step.

Kanone cringed slightly when LaRae told him what she had done and then sighed softly. "Looks like you may have been better off with it on...yeouch..." He watched her go over to the sink and then glanced back to Marius briefly before he sighed softly and went back to his food. Luckily, the sight of blood didn't bother him in the least when he was eating because he'd still only cleared about half of what Levana had put on the plate since he wasn't scarfing it down at lightning speed like he might have otherwise. He was trying to hurry and finish up his good so he could get back out of the area and out of everyone's way. He did kind of wish he could do something to help LaRae's arm but he didn't really know squat about healing or first aid, he was more the slap a bandage on it and call it a day sort.

Marius followed close behind LaRae until she started over to the sink where Levana was, then he just looked over to Kanone and sighed, "Well, it wasn't helping anything being on either," He said simply. He glanced over to LaRae and Levana for a moment and then moved over to the first aid kit and laid the two splint pieces that LaRae had given him down on top of the box after Levana had said that would be the next step. "Do you need me to do anything?" He asked simply, not entirely sure if there was anything he could really do. As far as he knew splinting was a one person job, he had a feeling he would probably just be in the way.

LaRae stood quietly, or as quietly as she possibly could while Levana was washing the blood off of her arm. She couldn't help an occasional whine or short lived hiss throughout the process but other than that she didn't make any noise. She finally glanced back to her arm to see what Levana was doing. She was a little curious since she was still holding onto her arm and she was already finished cleaning and drying her arm. She quirked a brow slightly while she watched Levana healing her cuts by the looks of it. She was a bit surprised that Levana could heal people, it was rather unexpected. She nodded her head weakly when Levana told her what was left to do and then started over to the table. She looked down at her arm for a moment, still surprised that Levana could even heal. If she could take care of cuts she couldn't help wondering if she could heal bones. If she could do that then there would be no need to have Hikari heal her arm later. She lifted her eyes and started over to the table herself. She started to sit down at the opposite end of the table with her left arm easily accessible. She glanced back to Levana briefly and then to the first aid kit. "...Since you can heal, can't you just heal the bone itself?"

Levana waited until after LaRae had sat down before she started to get things together. She looked back toward Marius for a moment and then shook her head lightly. "No, thank you though. I think I've got this under control." She responded to his question. She slid the first aid kit and the two splint pieces down towards LaRae's arm and then took a seat at the one head of the table closest to the back of the house. She sighed softly and then shook her head a little as she looked over at LaRae. "Unfortunately dear, my healing ability just isn't that advanced." She opened up the first aid kit and pulled out the roll of bandages. She then took the splint pieces and started to set them on either side of the break in LaRae's arm. She was careful about the positioning and then had LaRae hold the pieces in place while she picked up the bandages again. She quickly started wrapping the bandages around her arm, being sure to make it just tight enough that the splint pieces weren't going anywhere and she wasn't hurting anything any worse. LaRae got to drop her arm while Levana was working. As she got further up the arm there was just no need for LaRae's aid any longer. She finished up the wrapping of her arm quickly enough and then tied off the wrap before setting the bandage down again. All she had left to do now was sling her arm but she wasn't entirely sure how she wanted to go about that. She guessed that she could just use the same roll of bandages but something wider might be a littler easier. She sighed quietly and looked over at Marius. "...On second thought..." She paused. "...Do you have any idea's for a sling?"

Marius nodded slightly when Levana said that she didn't need his help and then sighed softly before he moved over it sit closer to Kanone while he was trying to finish his breakfast. He reached over once and stole a piece of bacon bust because it was taunting him, though he didn't quite get away with it without a smack to the hand.

"Hey, get your own," Kanone said when he caught the hand coming at his plate. He smacked his hand lightly, but he let him get away with a strip of bacon. He was starting to get a little full anyway so he didn't really mind losing one piece.

Marius chuckled quietly at Kanone and made pretty quick work of the piece of bacon. He was going to have to get up and get a plate himself pretty soon, that was just enough to make him hungry. He glanced over to Levana when she asked him if he had any ideas for a sling and then tilted his head a little. "Hmm... Hold on a minute," he said as he stood up again and started back toward the bedroom that he'd been using. Once he got there he slipped inside quietly and went back over to his bag again, moving his dirty clothes onto the floor while he opened the pack. He had brought several changes of clothes, and each change had a sash that went with it. He didn't want to give her the bloody one that Nero had used, he was probably just going to toss that one. After a couple of moments he dug out a deep brown sash that went with another of his robes and then started back to the door after putting everything else back. The sash was easily long enough that it could be wrapped around his waist twice before it tied and still have a little to hang down, and it was about a foot and a half wide, so he usually folded it over when he used it. He was pretty sure that it Levana could manage to put something together with this. The material was very soft and somewhat thin, making it easy to maneuver and tie around, so he didn't think it would bother LaRae that much having it touching her. He closed the door behind him and then walked back to the table and held the sash out to Levana, "Will that work?"

Levana nodded her head lightly when Marius said to hold on a minute. She watched him briefly while he headed back to the back of the house. She turned her eyes back to LaRae for a moment while they waited on Marius. She kind of hoped that the wrap and splints on her arm didn't agitated the burns. She hadn't thought of that before but her arm might be a little more uncomfortable than she originally thought. She sighed softly. Maybe it'd be alright for a little while. Her arm was liable to get hot though, perhaps even a little itchy underneath everything. She glanced to Marius when he came back and took a look at the sash after taking it from him. She stood up from her seat after inspecting what he'd given her and nodded her head. "Yes, this should work just fine. Thank you." She told him before shifting a little and reaching over to LaRae's arm. She started out by wrapping the sash around her arm a couple times first, making sure there were even lengths on either side. Then she took the two ends and pulled them back behind her neck after pushing her hair out of the way and and continued by tying the fabric in a simple knot. It'd be easy enough for someone else to get the knot out and it wouldn't just come free on it's own when LaRae moved. The sling didn't have much of any slack in it. It allowed her arm to lay horizontally in front of her without putting any pressure on it or straining her neck. She smiled lightly and patted LaRae's shoulders gently now that she was finished. "There, that should hold you over until Hikari can take a look at it."

LaRae sat quietly while she waited for Levana to finish working on her arm. She was hungry and her stomach was finally starting to protest a little. She guessed it didn't like sitting at the same table while Kanone was eating. She looked over at Levana after Marius had come back into the room with one of his sashes. At this point she really didn't care what they used to sling her arm. She just wanted it done so that she could eat and then possibly go relax somewhere for a little while. She sat patiently while Levana got to putting the sash on her arm. Once she was done with it she was a bit relieved. It felt a little better to not have her arm just dangling beside her and now she didn't have to worry about holding it up or anything because the sling took care of that for her. She hadn't started to feel anything irritation from the covered burns yet but that was bound to surface sooner or later. She tilted her head back slightly to make sure the knot wasn't going to bother her and then started to turn slightly to glance over at the counter where the food was. "...Thanks." She said quietly and then looked at Levana. "Is it alright if I get something to eat now?" She asked since she was having more trouble keeping her stomach quiet.

Levana stared down at LaRae for a moment when she heard her stomach growl, followed by the question about eating. She chuckled quietly and nodded her head. "Of course you can." She responded before starting over to the counter. She pulled down another plate from the cupboard and made quick work of putting a little of everything on it before moving back over to the table. She set the plate down in front of LaRae with a smile. "There you go." She knew LaRae would probably get up and get the plate herself but with her arm in a sling like it was it was easier for someone else to fix it for her. After LaRae started on the plate a little she moved back over to her seat and started to put away the things she'd used from the first aid kit.

Marius nodded to Levana and then watched as she went on about fixing LaRae up. He smiled when he heard her stomach growl and then chuckled quietly, preparing to go around the table to get her a plate, though he only got in a step before Levana had already beaten him over there. He stopped and tilted his head a little before he laughed quietly. She must have really liked to make herself useful, she was doing a fine job of it. He shook his head slightly and then started to the kitchen himself so he could prepare his own plate. He got one down from the same area that he had seen Levana get one from and then went about getting a bit to eat. He didn't tend to eat all that much so a biscuit, some eggs and a couple of strips of bacon and one piece of sausage was enough to tide him over just fine. Once he had what he wanted he simply got down a glass and filled it with cold water, deciding to bypass the juice since he had no idea what it tasted like or if he would even like it. He returned to the table and sat down the plate and glass before he glanced over to Levana and smiled, "Are you going to eat or have you already had your breakfast?" he asked with a soft chuckle.

Kanone was pretty quick to finish up the remaining items on his plate and gulp down the rest of the juice. By then his stomach was plenty full and he was more than ready to go fall out somewhere again. He sighed and then stood up and went to the sink, setting both the glass and the plate down in the base before he yawned and then started to move away. Clearly, he wasn't quite as 'do-it-yourself' as Celestine was. He just wanted to get back to bed, really since he hadn't been quite ready to get up in the first place. "...Alright...I'm dead..." he said with another yawn. "I'll....probably see you...tomorrow..." He gave them a wave and then covered his mouth to hide another yawn as he turned back around, just in time to walk right into the corner of the kitchen's wall. He yelped and stepped back, rubbing his horn, "Ooowwww..."

Marius glanced back to Kanone and then sighed. He knew he hadn't done the dishes himself. Oh well, he guessed he'd get them when he finished with his own. He cringed a little when Kanone ran into the wall and then shook his head. "Watch where you're walking," he told him before he let out a quiet laugh. "And I'm sure we'll see you around dinner."

"Thanks a lot..." he groaned as he glanced back to Marius again and then stuck out his tongue at him playfully when he mentioned seeing him around dinner. He side-stepped around the wall and then sighed as he continued on down the hallway to get back tot he bedroom so he could go pass out for a while.

Levana finished with the first aid kit and set it aside. She watched LaRae for a moment while she ate and then looked over to Marius when he finally asked his question about her eating breakfast. She smiled and shook her head for a brief moment. "I've already eaten, unfortunately." She chuckled softly. "It's kind of hard for me to leave in the morning if I have not eaten anything. There's usually someone checking to make sure that I've had something, even if it's just something small." She answered. She wouldn't have minded having breakfast with them but she was still a bit full from what she'd already eaten. She glanced over to Kanone just in time to catch him walk into the corner of the wall. That looked like it probably hurt. She kept an eye towards Kanone until after he'd started back down the hall. She continued to sit at the table at least until both LaRae and Marius were finished eating. Once they had both finished she intended to get up and gather together what was left over and store it in the oven for the time being.

LaRae only stayed at the table long enough to finish eating. After she had eaten she got up and took her plate to the sink, then set it inside. She would have cleaned the dishes herself but with only one hand available it was a little difficult to efficiently clean anything. She wound up spending time after that between the bedroom with Nanashi and outside on the porch since it was pretty nice out for the time being.

The weather didn't seem to change very much once it started to get dark. It started to get colder out like it usually did, even without the added chill from the breeze. It wasn't until a little after dinner that the weather suddenly took a turn for the worse. It changed without much of a warning and nothing more than a sudden house shaking crack of thunder followed by a heavy down pour of rain. LaRae had been sitting on the steps of the porch when then the thunder sounded and then the rain started down. The bottom of her pants wound up damp after just the couple seconds that they remained stretched out from under the protection of the roof. She hurried to get up from where she was sitting and onto the porch. She glanced back out over the water with enough time to catch a bolt of lightning followed soon after by another loud clap of thunder. The lightning mirrored over the water which was actually kind of pretty though she could have lived without the loudness of the thunder. She lingered on the porch only a couple moments longer before turning and heading inside. With the added rain and having the bottom of her pants being wet the cold was a little too much.

Marius was a little disappointed to hear that Levana had already eaten, but it didn't show and he didn't say anything about it, simply smiled and nodded. Once he'd finished his breakfast and LaRae had put her dishes in the sink he took it upon himself to wash them, along with Kanone's before he put them up to dry. He was pretty used to doing his own dishes, so he really didn't care to wash them. After all, it wasn't like he was really busy. After he'd put everything away he made it a point to try to spend time with Levana. He wasn't sure where Celestine had gotten to but he was sure he was around somewhere, possibly at the other house where there were less people.

Marius was still helping to clean up after everyone was finished with dinner. Surprisingly, Kanone did seem to have slept through it, as had Hikari. It seemed those two were especially tired. When the thunder cracked he startled and almost fumbled the dish he was carrying before he caught it again and then sat it on the counter while he rubbed his ears. "Ah...that–" he started, but he was cut off by another ear splitting–for him at least–clap of thunder, "...was loud...," he finished lamely. He shook his head a little and then rubbed his ear again before he started to go back to the table. He hoped this storm passed quickly or he may have to go find something to stuff in his ears.

Kanone had been sleeping soundly since he'd gotten back to bed, though he startled when the thunder clapped and then groaned. "Damn it..." he muttered before he picked up the pillow and borrowed his head under it while pulling it down over his ears. His hearing wasn't quite as finely tuned as Marius and Celestine's but the louse was still considerably loud to him. He pulled the covers up over his head and then curled up and tried to get back to sleep while holding the pillow in place with his arm. Thankfully he was pretty used to sleeping through storms like this since there were usually plenty in Caledonia near the end of summer and around the beginning of spring.

Nanashi had been asleep ever since LaRae had left him this morning. He was just too tired to stay awake and too weak to move around much even if he was awake anyway, so it really didn't matter. He didn't remain sleeping for long after the storm hit, however. As soon as the thunder crashed his wide ruby eyes snapped open and he let out a short-lived scream as he bolted upright with a sudden rush of adrenalin. As soon as he was upright his head started to spin and ache and he actually toppled over sideways and straight off of the bed when he threw out his am to catch himself and completely missed the bead since he was so close tot he edge of it. His head narrowly missed the night stand as he hit the floor, dragging the covers half off the bed with him since they were wrapped around his legs when he fell. He groaned and then started to try to push himself before the second clap of thunder startled him and he actually tried to dive headlong under the bed. Unfortunately, with only a foot of space between his the bed and the floor he didn't get very far, though not for lack of trying. His nails graded against the floor as he tried to pull himself under, but he wasn't getting anywhere with his wings. After a couldn't of seconds of useless struggle he backed up with his ears laid back and just scooted closer to the side of the bed and squeezed himself in between the side of the bed and the night stand, forcing the night stand to scoot if need be until he was wedged between the bed, night stand and back wall. Once he was stuck there he just curled in on himself tightly and ducked his head while holding his hands to his ears. His head ached terribly from the noise and the fall and he couldn't stop himself from shaking. He was still weak from the blood loss and he probably couldn't have gotten back on the bed himself if he really wanted to. He wanted somewhere that he could just curl up and hide and wait for the storm to pass, but he didn't want to be where he could be seen. Even under the covers was too open for him, he honestly wished he would fit under the bed. The urge to hide was almost overpowering in storms like this, especially when the thunder was this loud. Again, that unshakable feeling of dread came over him as if he could walk out of this room and find himself to be the only living being left on the island.

Esen was a bit startled when she first heard the thunder and then yelped when the rain started to pour out of nowhere. She stood up quickly and made a mad dash to the house, nearly killing herself to get up the stairs on the porch with Nobu and out of the rain. She shook out her fur and then whined as the thunder roared again and looked out over the porch railing toward the direction that Celestine had gone in. She hated getting wet as much as Celestine did, but she was worried about him still being out there since he obviously hadn't come back yet. After a moment she stood up and started to pace around while looking out at the rain as if debating on whether she should go look for him or not. She didn't want him to stay out there in this and after the words he and Nobu had exchanged she wasn't even sure he'd be willing to come back. After all, what Celestine had said may have been a little on the mean side, but it wasn't intentional, and Nobu had just gotten a little cruel after that. She didn't blame him for being upset but as far as she was concerned, Celestine was still pretty much a kid whether he wanted to admit it or not, and that was no way to talk to a kid.

Celestine had managed to fall asleep again after a while of sitting under the trees where he was. He had cried himself out quietly and stayed right where he was hiding so that no one would find him. He really wanted to sit with Esen or Nobu, but he was a little too stubborn to leave with his eyes all red and wet. As the day went on it had gotten warmer and easier to tolerate, so eventually he had just fallen right back to sleep since he was still tired from the night of poor sleep. Unfortunately, his dreams still didn't let him rest to peacefully, but he somehow managed to sleep through the nightmares and miss dinner. The storm awoke him quickly and his head slapped up with a yelp as the thunder shattered the silence and stabbed at his ear drums. He sat there gasping for a second as the rain dumped out of the clouds and then shivered. It had already gotten cold again and he hadn't noticed or he would have headed back toward the house. He was still wearing the thing sleeveless shirt he'd been in the night before and goose bumps were already rising on his arms from the chill wind and the cold torrent of rain. He cringed again at the second clap of thunder and put his hands over his ears to block the painful noise. After a moment he stood up quickly and crossed his arms tightly over his chest as he darted out of the trees and looked around for some form of cover. Unfortunately, he didn't see anything nearby that he could get under that would block the rain except for the bridge, and by now he would probably just be sitting in water if he got under there. He didn't want to get soaked all over again, he he started to move quickly back toward the other island so he could get on the porch at the least. With the rate that the rain was dumping however, before he even got to the bridge his hair and clothes were plastered to him and his wings were getting heavier even as they were folded against his back. He sighed heavily as he came to a stop on the bridge and tried to shake the water off of his wings before he swiped the drenched curtain of bangs from his face. He coughed as he lowered his head against the rain and then groaned. He walked to the edge of the bridge and then paused again to get his bangs out of his face. He could barely even tell where he was going through all of this rain, but by now he didn't even think it mattered. He was already drenched and freezing, so he couldn't get much worse off. Finally he just sighed and continued toward the bridge so he could get back; thoroughly looking forward to whatever criticism Nobu had for him being caught in the unsuspected rain.

Levana was actually a little surprised to have had so few awake for dinner. LaRae, Marius and herself were the only ones awake at the time. Though, after such loud thunder there were likely to be a couple more awake now. The thunder didn't bother her too much, it startled her because it was so sudden but that was about it. She had already taken care of what leftovers there were and had been sitting at the table while Marius finished up the dishes. She looked over at him with an apologetic expression after he'd started over to the table. "...The storms around this time of season can be pretty bad..." She sighed softly. "And loud..." She added absently. "Are you going to be alright?" She asked since the volume seemed to be bothering his ears, or at least she assumed since he was rubbing his ear.

Aamori had slept a great deal of the day, mostly because she was just really tired. She'd slept through every time Marius had come into the room for something but she was unable to sleep through the loud claps of thunder. The first one startled her awake and thankfully she was no where near the edge of the bed or else she'd probably have taken a dive. She was fairly used to the storms being like this around here so she relaxed easily enough and only jumped a little at the second clap of thunder. She started to untangle herself from the bed and scoot over to the edge so that she could get to her feet. It wasn't until she started to stand up that she felt a little soreness from her back. It wasn't an unbearable pain but it was still noticeably there. She thought about it for a moment on her way to the door and sighed softly remembering that nothing had been done about back from where the glass had been lodged in it. The pieces had been removed the cuts hadn't been healed or tended to for that matter. She set her hand on the door knob and started to open it, pausing briefly to glance back at the bed and then around the room. The light wasn't on but the room did light up a little when the lightning flashed. There wasn't anyone else in the room and she wasn't sure how she ended up in here. The last she remembered she'd been resting against Celestine on the porch swing. She shook her head a little and continued out into the hall.

LaRae started over towards the room her and Nanashi had been using once she was inside. She kind of remembered how he was during these types of storms, or at least she remembered how he acted in that cave of Celestine's. She thought she'd check on him at least, especially since he'd been asleep for pretty much the entire day. She cracked the door open and slipped inside, catching a glimpse at the bed once the lightning had brightened the room a little. She wasn't being affected by the relatively sporadic claps of thunder so she continued into the room pretty much ignoring it. After seeing the bed it didn't take very long to figure out that Nanashi must have fallen off of the bed. She didn't really have any other explanation for why the blankets were half off of the bed. She started over to the bed and walked along the foot of it so she knew where she was going and then turned the corner of it. She was able to get an idea of where she was going thanks to the light from the lightning. She somehow wasn't too surprised at where she found Nanashi. Rather than kneeling down to his level first she stepped a little closer to the nightstand he had wedged himself next to and turned the lamp on so that she could see better. "...Are you alright, Nanashi?" She asked once she could see him alright.

Nobu hadn't moved very much from where he was on the porch, mostly because neither Kyran or Nero seemed to have gotten out of bed today. If they had they hadn't left their rooms or he hadn't heard them leave. He wouldn't have minded going inside and climbing in a bed, but at least he had a porch to sleep on that saved him from the rain once it started. He of course lifted his head up when the first thunder cracked and then watched when Esen wound up on the porch out of the rain. He just watched her for a moment before lowering his head back down onto his paws. He was a little worried about Celestine being out in the rain but he wasn't about to get up and go look for him. Celestine was a big boy and he could get out of the rain himself and besides, he didn't really want anyone worrying about him. After he was reminded of that what little worry he had for Celestine went out the window. He couldn't really say that he was mad at Celestine anymore but he was still a little upset and he certainly was thinking that he wouldn't talk to him again unless spoken to.

Yoichi just happened to be walking back towards his house under the safety of a graciously sized umbrella with a woman holding onto his arm when he spotted what looked like a rather soaked Celestine. It was unavoidable that they'd cross paths, especially since Celestine was coming off of the bridge that lead towards his house. He made sure to get right in Celestine's way so that he couldn't really get away without making it a point to obviously go around him. The umbrella was just barely big enough to cover all three of their heads with the exception of their wings so he made sure to move it just enough to keep the rain from hitting Celestine's head. "What in the world are you doing out in this storm, Celestine?" He asked while giving him a once over; he sure was soaked.

Emiko had been the woman holding onto Yoichi's arm. Her and Yoichi had been having dinner with a friend just around the corner and had already been on their way out when the storm started. Thankfully their friend had lent them a good sized umbrella for the walk home. She was somewhat in a hurry to get home and out of the rain but she couldn't help being a little curious after Yoichi had stopped, shifted the umbrella and addressed the small wind dragon. She hadn't thought her son knew dragons from other clans and at any rate, what was .....she ...doing out in the rain? She assumed it was a girl, like most because of the feminine features. Even when soaked Celestine couldn't really seem to escape looking feminine.

Marius smiled weakly as he pulled back the chair and sat down next to her and then sighed, "Yes, I'll be fine. It's just a little noisy." He cringed as there was another loud clap accompanied by an angry rumbling and then laid his ears back a little. "There wouldn't happen to be any cotton in that first aid kit, would there?" he asked with a weak laugh. He shook his head a little and sighed, "Sorry...my hearing is a little sharp, I guess it's a little louder to me than it should be," he explained as he rubbed his now ringing ear again. He didn't even notice when Aamori emerged from the bedroom, he was a little deafened by the thunder at the moment, so smaller sounds weren't quite getting picked up that well.

Nanashi wasn't really paying that much attention to anything when LaRae came into the room. He wouldn't even budge from his position though the way that he was curled up was making his already labored breathing even more difficult. He raised his head just a little when he heard LaRae's voice over the pounding rain and then slowly started to look up at her. He was a little ashamed of being caught like this again, but at the same time he was glad she was there. He started top open his mouth to answer her again but before he found his voice the next roll of thunder sent a jolt through him. He yelped in surprise and his eyes widened and for a brief second he looked like he was seeing something that would scar someone for life before his eyes snapped closed and he ducked again, holding his hands over his ears as the rumbled quieted down. He gritted his teeth together and just tried to curl in on himself a little more. "...L-leave...m-e alone..." he whimpered quietly. This was a little too embarrassing to have LaRae sit there and watch. He knew that he's already told her about this fear and what it felt like when he herd that sound, but even still talking about it and letting her watch were two different things.

Esen was having a hard time deciding what she wanted to do. She knew Celestine hated getting wet so she highly doubted that he'd stay out in the rain, but at the same time, this was the first time she'd every really been around when Celestine was upset, so she didn't know how he would react when he was like that. She whined as she sat down and then sighed as she looked back to Nobu and saw him laying there still. She looked back out at the rain again and then laid down again while keeping her gaze toward the bridge. She'd give him a few minutes to see if he came back before she went off looking for him at least. Hopefully this would just be one of those quick storms that rained itself out quickly, or at least that what she was hoping for. She whimpered again when she heard the thunder and shifted positions a little. She didn't like thunder storms all that much and she really didn't want to go out in it, but she would if Celestine didn't come back pretty soon. Her multitude of tails thumped quietly against the wood impatiently. She was already about ready to call time after just staring at the rain for a few minutes.

Celestine was still walking with his head down to keep the rain out of his eyes, though he wasn't walking quite as fast now. Still, when Yoichi came up on him, he came dangerously close to walking right into him, which ended up startling him into jumping back a little. He looked up quickly when he realized that the rain was no longer hitting him, and it took him a second to even realize who he'd nearly walked into. Oh vengeful gods...can today get worse? He glanced over to the woman for a moment and then looked back to Yoichi again. "...I fell asleep and woke up getting drenched," he answered simply. He still had his arms crossed tightly over his chest, though his clothes were still clinging to him and the wind was freezing. His hands didn't remain across his chest for long as the thunder echoed through the air again and stabbed his ears again. As soon as the thunder clapped he startled and threw his hands over his ears until it went away and then lowered his hands slowly, though his ears laid back and he had a look on his face like something was irritating him while his head tilted a little to the side. Obviously, the obnoxiously loud sounds weren't sitting well with him. His his hair drenched and pieced out the way that it was it did a pitiful job of covering the old scar over his left eye that he tried to keep well out of sight, though it still made it a little difficult to make out. He looked back up to Yoichi again and then turned his head to the side quickly to avoid sneezing on him before he sighed and looked back up to him again. "...I'm going back to stay with Marius. Excuse me." He gave the woman a short nod of acknowledgment and then stepped to the side of Yoichi to get out of their way. His ears laid back as the rain dumped onto his head again and he just wrapped his arms back around his chest as he started to turn to leave again.

Levana nodded slightly in acknowledgment when Marius said that he'd be fine. She stared at him for a moment after he asked if the first aid kit had cotton in it. She was fairly certain that he was joking since he said sorry and explained about his hearing. She couldn't resist though. She reached across the table and slid the kit closer before opening it up and digging around for a moment before setting out a much smaller box with cotton balls stuffed inside. "Cotton balls." She said with a soft chuckle. She turned her head slightly and glanced back down the hall towards the back of the house when she heard someone coming this way. She knew it could only be one of two people and she had kind of hoped it was Hikari so that she could ask her how she was feeling. She smiled when she saw Aamori awake, finally. Seeing her up and moving now reminded her that she should've brought something else for her to wear when she came over this morning. She didn't need to be wearing the wet suit alone, with several cuts in it no less was a little. "How are you feeling, Aamori?" She asked once she had gotten closer to the table.

Aamori headed straight towards the dinning room table once she saw that Levana and Marius were sitting there. She guessed since it was past dinner that no one else would be up and in here of all places. She inched closer to the table looking to take a seat. She looked over at Levana when she heard her question and then started to take a seat. She leaned forward a little on the table to keep from pressing her back against the back of the chair. "...A little sore and still a little tired, I think." She answered quietly. She hadn't decided yet whether she was actually tired or if it was because she slept so much. She glanced between Levana and Marius momentarily. "How's everyone else?" She asked curiously. She'd fallen asleep last night before she'd heard how anyone else was fairing so she thought she'd ask the two people who were likely to know the answer to her question.

LaRae stood where she was quietly waiting for a response from Nanashi. She didn't even react to the thunder that wound up surprising Nanashi bad enough that he yelped like he did. She really wished that storms like these didn't bother him this bad. She already felt a little useless at the moment and hearing him whimper 'leave me alone' really didn't help. She didn't know what to do to try and make him feel better and the only thing she could even begin to think of was to sit with him and unfortunately he didn't appear to even want her near him. She sighed softly and moved back over to the bed, kneeling down long enough to pick up the rest of the blanket from the floor with her good hand. She set it down on the bed and then sat down herself. She stared over at him for a moment and finally shook her head. "I don't want to." She stated in response to his telling her to leave him alone. "And there isn't anything you can say to make me leave." She added lastly. He did look a little pitiful right now but even so she couldn't bring herself to leave him alone even if he did manage to say something that made her want to leave the room.

Nobu lifted his head briefly once Esen started to whine. He was pretty sure that if he hadn't gotten into earlier with Celestine and he had still left the island he would probably be about where Esen is right now. Whining and trying to decide what to do. But since they fought earlier he wasn't quite as concerned as he would be. He lowered his head back onto his paws and curled his tails around him a little tighter. '...If you're so worried about him, go look for him.' He started. 'It doesn't sound like the storm is going to stop right away... so... if that's what's holding you back, don't let it.'

Yoichi tilted his head slightly after hearing Celestine's answer for what he was doing out in this storm. Fell asleep? Where in the world did he fall asleep on the residential island? Celestine didn't know anyone there, obviously so he didn't stay in a house. Not to mention he'd said he woke up getting drenched. He didn't really want to believe that he slept outside somewhere, especially when there were perfectly good accommodations at the training center. He glanced up towards the brim of the umbrella at the sky as best as he could after the thunder had caused Celestine to cover his ears. It was loud but he didn't think it was that loud. After Celestine sneezed he was a little worried considering he'd said he'd fallen asleep and gotten drenched upon waking. He briefly thought that Celestine may be getting sick but he pushed that thought aside after hearing him say that he was going back to stay with Marius. He had to think about that for a moment just to remember who exactly he was talking about. He'd only ever met the guy once and for a short period so he didn't remember Marius as well as he could have. He was actually prepared to let Celestine go, mostly because he knew he needed to get his mother home but that changed a little when he felt a sudden jab to the side.

Emiko stood beside Yoichi quietly while listening to the explanation. She didn't know quite as much as her son did so she was even more concerned to hear that Celestine had fallen asleep somewhere outside where she'd wound up soaked after waking up. The sneeze didn't help matters either. She was a mother after all and she couldn't just let someone go walking off in the rain all by themselves, especially when she suspected they could be sick or at least getting sick. Once Celestine had excused herself she quickly nudged Yoichi in the side rather hard. "...Stop her..." She mumbled very quietly to Yoichi. She didn't want to let her go, at least not while it was still storming.

Yoichi groaned quietly and shifted the umbrella over to his mothers hands for a moment. He slipped out from under the umbrella long enough to grab hold of Celestine's arm. "Hey, wait." He paused and lifted his spare hand up to wipe the rain from his face. It really was raining harder than he thought. "My Mom doesn't want you to go with the weather like this." He finished. He lifted his hand again to wipe his face a bit relieved to see that his mother had walked over to them to shelter them both from the rain.

Emiko moved a little slower than her son since she wasn't hurrying to stop someone from walking off. She held the umbrella over them both once she reached them and then nodded her head lightly after catching what Yoichi had said. "You're already soaked and cold, so why not come with us at least until the weather clears up a little?"

Marius watched as Levana dragged the kit over and then laughed softly when she dug out some cotton balls and shook his head slightly. "I may be stealing one of those pretty soon," he said lightly. He heard the thunder rumble again, though it was mercifully just that...a quiet rumble. He looked over to Aamori when she finally emerged from the bedroom and offered her a slight smile when she she answered Levana's question about how she was feeling. He sighed softly when she asked how everyone else was. "Well...Kanone's fine for the most part; I haven't seen Hikari, Nanashi, Kyran, or Nero all day; LaRae's doing alright other than a broken arm; and Celestine is...I'm assuming camped out at the other house with Kyran and Nero because he wasn't out there last I checked...and that's where Nobu was."

Nanashi raised his head again slowly when he heard LaRae tell him that she wasn't leaving and stared at her with those large ruby eyes of his that for the moment looked close to overflowing with water. He wasn't crying, but certainly looked to be right on the verge of being ready to. He was silent until the next roll of thunder and then he tensed a little and lowered his eyes while closing them, though since that sound was quieter he didn't have such a violent reaction to it. After a moment he lowered his chin down to his knees and curled up as tightly as he could, even winding his tail around his legs as he closed his eyes and laid his ears back. If he hadn't been rolled up in such a tiny space he would have asked her to sit with him since she wasn't going to leave and he too tired and petrified to get up, but since he was a little stuck he just closed his eyes and hoped that the worst of the thunder was over though he somehow doubted it.

Esen's ears perked a little and she raised her head when Nobu spoke to her before looking back to him. Her ears simply laid back again when she heard what he had to say and then she sighed. Normally she wasn't one to talk too much, but right now she was a little irritated with the both of them; Celestine for being stubborn and wandering off and Nobu for just...being stubborn. "How long are you going to lay there and sulk? I know he hurt your feelings a little, but you know as well as I do that he didn't mean to hurt you. That boy loves you to death, even I can see that, he just didn't want to go inside and wanted you to stop telling him to. I know it may not be the most rational fear to you, but it's there nonetheless, and pushing him to go inside when he's too afraid to go willingly wouldn't help much of anything, anyway. Honestly, he's just a kid, I don't care how much he tries to act like an adult, he's still just a kid. They think they know everything, and half the time don't even think about what how the things they say can come off if the one listening decides to take it the wrong way. There was no need to go and deliberately insult him and certainly no need to drag me into you little disagreement before, either. I don't even know where you got that he doesn't care about the people who worry for him; he obviously does. If he didn't then he wouldn't care if we worried and he wouldn't say a thing to try and make us not worry anyway." She stood up, her tails swishing behind her, "You did a fine job of hurting his feelings right back. Was it really so hard to just sit with him and at least try to keep him warm and avoid all that? You both need to apologize and get over this petty argument. This is as much on your as it is on him, and if you're going to lay here and pout, fine, I will go find him by myself." She let out a disgruntled huff and then hopped off of the porch and back into the pouring rain before giving Nobu any time to even come back at her with anything. As soon as her paws hit the sand she just took off at a run for the bridge, trying to ignore the water that was rather quickly drenching her fur and wings. She wasn't really angry with Nobu, but she was a little put off with him for choosing not to worry just because Celestine made an ass of himself. After all, there were plenty of places to find shelter from the wind outside and they could have laid by him to keep him pretty warm. She certainly wouldn't have minded one bit and Celestine would have been more comfortable with that option, obviously. She thought the whole argument was pretty stupid, especially since Celestine and Nobu were so fond of each other...or had been at the start of the day, at least.

Celestine wasn't quite expecting either of them to stop him, so when he felt the icy hand on his arm he startled and smacked it away without thinking as he looked back and then rubbed the area where Yoichi's hand had been to try to warm it up while suppressing a shiver, not that his own cold hands were much better. He hand to lift his own hand to sweet his drenched bangs back out of his face, though the rain only beat them right back into place in a couple of seconds. "...It's not that far..." he said quietly, though he glanced at Yoichi's mother when she came up to them again. He brushed his bangs back off of his forehead again for a moment before they fell right back into place once the water let them separate from the rest of his hair. He seemed to be deliberating for a moment. He didn't want to go and impose on Aamori's family, but at the same time he knew if he went back to the house looking like this that probably everyone who say him was going to have something to say and start worrying, and he really didn't want to make them worry or listen to them gripe at him for that matter. He'd probably end up confined to a bedroom cocooned in towels if Marius had his way. Finally he sighed quietly and gave a reluctant nod. "...Alright...fine," he said quietly, though for once he actually sounded half appreciative. After all they were saving him from total aggravation of having to put up with Hikari, Marius, Kanone, and Aamori, and possibly Nobu. "Thank y–" he started before the thunder decided to clap again and startled him. He held his ears while gritting his teeth a little and then rubbed his ears while giving the sky an irritated look that probably would have meant 'shut the f*ck up' had it been audible. Unfortunately, he had good hearing even for a wind dragon (ones hearing in that clan could almost measure up to the magical stamina of the individual) so the thunder really was harping on his ears more than one would expect.

Levana nodded her head a little once she heard how Aamori was feeling. After a day like yesterday she wasn't really all that surprised that she was sore or tired. She glanced over to Marius when he started to answer the question that Aamori had asked. "I took care of Hikari last night. Her wound should be better but she has been asleep all day." She paused. "And... LaRae told us that Nanashi was really tired." She glanced over to Marius briefly. "Or at least I think that's all that she told us, right?" She wasn't really sure if she missed anything and thankfully there was Marius to check with since he'd been the one to ask about Nanashi in the first place.

Aamori was glad to hear that Kanone was fine. He'd been the one hurt the most out of everyone, or at least in her opinion and it was partially her fault that he was as bad off as he was last night. Well, she thought so anyway. If he hadn't had to help save her yesterday than he probably wouldn't have been as hurt as he was. She really was glad that he was alright, she wasn't sure that she could deal with another situation similar to the one in Caledonia. "I'm glad that Kanone's alright." She commented quietly. She was a little surprised that Marius only had the scoop on how LaRae and Kanone were. She'd kind of expected him to know more. She turned her attention over to Levana when she started to speak. She was relieved to hear that she had looked after Hikari. She was in pretty good hands with Levana, at least. As for LaRae and Nanashi, of the two she was more surprised to hear of LaRae's broken arm than Nanashi's being tired. She didn't really know the details behind her broken arm but she did want to say that she remembered seeing the cast stuff on her arm yesterday but if her arm was still broken than maybe she was mistaken. Out of everyone she was probably most concerned with where Celestine was now. Since Kanone was going to be fine she kind of wanted to know where Celestine had gone to. She kind of wished that Marius had a better idea of where his grandson was. She would've liked to have seen Celestine a little since she was awake but not knowing where he was exactly kind of hindered that.

LaRae stared down at Nanashi once he had looked up at her. She really did wish that he hadn't wedged himself into such a tight space because she did want to sit with him, especially after seeing his eyes. She did kind of hate seeing him like this and having nothing to do to make him feel better. The storm didn't really seem to be letting up either, at least not this minute. The thunder still sounded every so often but it was starting to not be quite so loud. She continued to stare down at him for a few moments before she slipped down onto the floor so that she could sit in front of him. Thanks to his being between the nightstand and the bed, in front of him was the best she could really do at the moment.

Nobu continued to just lay there with his head resting against his paws even once Esen started to get on him about earlier. He didn't really have much of anything to say to Esen about what happened between him and Celestine. He really wasn't that bothered by it anymore. The only thing that still bothered him was the fact that Celestine said he sometimes wished that he couldn't talk. That was a sensitive spot for him and he knew or at least he thought Celestine didn't mean to be hurtful with that comment but he couldn't help being upset about it. It just hurt and he couldn't tell himself to not let it hurt, the damage had already been done. He lifted his head very slightly when Esen finally got around to getting off the porch to go search for Celestine. He may have considered going with her after everything she'd said except for the way it was pouring rain. It was just too dangerous for him to go out in such weather. Esen hadn't been there in the tower to see what mass amounts of water can do to him and the people around him and he wasn't about to show her now. He made himself comfortable again and stayed where he was. He did hope since Esen was willing to go out in the rain that she at least found Celestine and in a timely manner.

Yoichi jerked his hand back a little after Celestine had smacked it away. He wasn't too surprised to see Celestine give in and agree to come with them after his mother had come over and asked him to come with them. Celestine probably wouldn't have gotten very far even if he had said no. His mother likely would've pressed Celestine until he agreed to join them. He turned to his mother for a moment and reached to take the umbrella from her. "Lets go then." He said glancing between his mother and Celestine. "We don't live far, thankfully. Just over the bridge and down the street a couple houses." He said entirely for Celestine's benefit. He waited until after his mother had taken his arm again and then turned toward the bridge again. He glanced over at Celestine for a moment. "Are you going to be able to walk near me to be under the umbrella or are you going to brave the rain to stay away?" He asked with a quiet laugh. Once he knew how Celestine wanted to go about this he was prepared to start heading to their house.

Marius smiled weakly when Aamori said that she was gland that Kanone was alright. "As am I..." he said quietly. He glanced over to Levana when she asked if LaRae had said anything more and then shook his head slightly. "No, I believe that pretty much covered it... He seems to have lost a lot of blood between everything...I wouldn't be surprised to see him remain in the bed for a few more days at the least." He cringed again when the thunder boomed once more and then sighed and rubbed his eyes again while eying the cotton ball thoughtfully. He had been only joking about it before, but he was seriously starting to ponder on it. "...About how long do these storms usually last?"

Nanashi still didn't move very much, even when LaRae came down to his level to sit in front of him. He tried to turned his head away a little but as soon as it thundered loudly again he jumped and yelped as he ducked his head completely while holding his hands to his head and whimpering quietly. He really hated this with a passion. He wished more than anyone that these storms didn't bother him so badly, but his reactions were almost involuntary. It spite of the fact that he was still a child in dragon terms, he knew it looked absolutely ridiculous for an apparently grown man to be cowering on the floor like a frightened child at the sound of thunder. He still couldn't stop himself from shaking, by now it was getting even worse than it had been. He really wasn't in the shape to be getting so stressed out anyways. It wasn't too hard to breathe normally the way that he was curled in so tightly on himself and on top of everything else that had happened yesterday. He was still suffering from rather extreme blood loss and was basically too physically exhausted to deal with this for long. After another few minutes his body relaxed and he finally just passed out again, though he was still sitting up where he was, only leaning more heavily against the bed. He didn't even flinch at the next clap of thunder. His body had apparently decided that he had had enough already.

Esen didn't even glance back once she was off the porch, she just made a mad dash toward the bridge. She kind of felt sorry for the guys that were out here stuck guarding the entrance. Once she crossed the bridge she glanced around a little. She couldn't very well sniff Celestine out since the rain had washed away the scent. She knew that he still had the blades with him, but even still she only knew that she was going in the right general direction. After a moment she finally just made a dash for the training building, hoping that she would find him around there somewhere, though by now there was no way that she could get inside unless someone opened the door. Of course she was pretty sure she could tell whether he was inside or not by the time she got there. She really hoped that he had gone there...she was pretty sure there he would at least be in the hallway out of the rain if Hisako didn't shove him into a bedroom.

Celestine just nodded weakly when he heard Yoichi explain where they lived. He didn't really care how far away it was, but he didn't say anything anyway. He sighed when Yoichi asked if he could walk near him and then just looked at him rather blankly. "...I'm already wet. I don't really care," he said simply, just sounding more tired than anything. Right now he was a little too miserable to try too hard to avoid Yoichi. Just as long as he kept his hands to himself he didn't really care how close he was to him. He just waited for Yoichi to get moving and then started walking next to him, not particularly trying to hard to stay under the umbrella since he was about as wet as he could possibly get already, but trying to stay out from under the heavy water wall that fell from the umbrella's edge. He was a little more content staying out of the rain since the water was very cold, but he was tying not to bump arms with Yoichi either since his skin was so cold and really not helping matters. He still couldn't help but cringe and cover his ears whenever the thunder shattered the rain's rhythmic pattering. He shook his head a little after the thunder faded and then raised his hand a little to cover his mouth while he coughed and then sniffed a little as he crossed his arms over his chest again.

Levana looked over at Marius when he responded to her question on whether or not there was more to what LaRae had said. She nodded her head lightly in agreement after Marius had continued on to mention he wouldn't be surprised to see Nanashi stay in bed for a few more days. She barely reacted to the volume of the thunder so she really had no idea just how badly the sound was bothering Marius. She looked over at him after he asked how long these storms usually lasted. She wasn't really paying attention to the weather until he brought it up. "Hmm..." She paused. "Well... the storm itself can last quite a few hours. It could easily rain until morning. Of course it wouldn't pour rain like this throughout the night, it would eventually let up." She said with a slight nod. "As for the thunder and lightning, that shouldn't last too much longer. If this storm is like any other we've had it should stop within the hour, give or take a few minutes." She said lastly. The storms here were at least if anything a little predictable, especially during this time of the year.

Aamori listened when Marius added what he had about Nanashi. She really wasn't surprised to hear that Marius thought he'd be down for a few days. Nanashi had lost a lot of blood even before they went to retrieve the relic and then lost more before he'd even regained what he'd lost to begin with. He sure wasn't having an easy time here. She just hoped that nothing else went bad for Nanashi while he was here. Though... she wasn't sure it got worse than dying and having to be brought back. She lifted her hand to her mouth and stifled a yawn before crossing her arms on the table and leaning her head down on them. She still was a bit tired but since she had just gotten up she didn't really want to go back to bed already.

LaRae continued to sit on the floor while keeping an eye on Nanashi. Her ears laid back a little when he wound up yelping once more after the thunder sounded so loudly. She really did wish that there was something that could be done to help him so that he didn't react like this every time the weather turned sour this way. She shut her eyes for a moment and sighed quietly while she sat there. Being so concerned with him really did take her mind off her arm but she wasn't sure that was a good thing. Sure she liked not focusing on the pain she felt every no and again but she didn't want to see Nanashi like this either. She cracked her eyes open and looked back over at him. She stared for a moment before she sat up on her knees and leaned forward a little and reached over to touch his face with her good hand. She was relieved to find that he'd only passed out again. She pulled her hand back and continued to sit there for a few moments before she finally decided to get up. She stared down at Nanashi once she was on her feet again and sighed softly. She didn't think he needed to be on the floor where he was between the bed and the nightstand. It really would be better for him to be on the bed to rest and unfortunately in her current state with only the one arm she couldn't very well pull him out of the space he'd wedged himself in and put him on the bed. She thought about it briefly, she could ask Marius to help get Nanashi onto the bed but she didn't really want to bother him again. She'd already asked him and Levana both for help with her arm earlier. The only other guy in the house strong enough to help was probably Kanone and after he'd slept more he was probably feeling well enough to help with this. At least she thought so considering how he was feeling earlier at breakfast. She started over to the door and quietly opened it. She glanced across the hall to the room that Kanone was staying in, noticing the door hadn't been shut completely. That was a good enough sign for her. Most people shut the door if they didn't want to be bothered. She slipped across the hall quietly and then into the other room, stopping just inside the room after clearing the door.

Yoichi couldn't really have put his hands on Celestine even if he wanted to at the moment. He was carrying the umbrella in one hand and his other arm was being held onto by his mother. He thought the way his mother walked with him was a little annoying, but he'd grown to just deal with it. She liked to hold the arm of the guy she was walking with if she knew him well enough and she'd started walking with him like this once he was old enough to escort a woman. He was kind of glad to see that Celestine wasn't going out of his way to avoid being close to him while they were walking. He was pretty sure the cause for that was the desire to get out of the rain. He was glad that he didn't live far after he heard Celestine cough. That on top of the sneeze earlier was making him wonder if he was getting sick. It didn't take that much longer to reach the house. "Here we are." He continued straight up to the front door while holding the umbrella out enough that no one would get rained on while heading for the door.

Emiko was a little concerned that Celestine may have gotten sick. With the girl's small frame and obviously lack of meat on her bones it wouldn't surprise her one bit that the poor girl got sick just by being caught in the down pour. Then sleeping outside while it got colder out probably hadn't helped anything either. She was relieved once they reached the house. As soon as Yoichi had shifted the umbrella to cover the way to the door she released his arm and stepped to the front door so that she could open it. She pushed it open and stepped inside, turning slightly while holding the door open and motioning for Celestine to come inside. "Come on inside, Yoichi will need to close up the umbrella once you're out from under it." She paused. "And don't worry about being wet." She added lastly. She wanted to make sure that Celestine got out of those wet clothes, so being in them in the house for a little while wasn't going to really hurt anything.

Marius sighed softly when Levana said that the storming would cease within the hour. He hoped this one was like the others. "I see..." he said simply and then offered a weak smile. "One would think as much as it thunders in Caledonia that I would be used to this by now." He made a slight face and then laughed softly before he glanced back to Aamori and tilted his head a little. "...You don't plan to fall asleep there, do you?" he asked with a soft chuckle. He knew that probably wasn't the plan, but she looked like she might if she didn't get up in a few minutes.

When LaRae entered the room she would probably have a hard time even spotting Kanone himself, though there was an obvious lump under the covers where he was laying. He still had his head burrowed down under the pillow and the pillow pressed over his ears, but he'd pulled the covers up all the way over his head, pillow and all, so only the outline of his legs sprawled over the bed was visible. He had managed to get back to sleep mostly because he'd blocked out the majority of the noise. He was always a heavy sleeper anyway, so she would probably have a pretty hard time getting him up, especially since he was kind of blocking out everything anyway.

It didn't take Esen to terribly long to get to the training building, though by the time she got there she already knew that wasn't where Celestine was. She sighed heavily and shook out her fur for all of the good that it did her before she started to run off again, whining as she went. She didn't really know where there was any other shelter, so she was just going to have to guess at where Celestine had gone and try to follow the pull of the blades that he was carrying with him. Unfortunately, that was a little harder to do that she really liked, but it was manageable. She really wasn't enjoying running all over Kairava in the middle of a downpour, though, but she really was a little too worried about Celestine's whereabouts to go hide under something until the rain let up.

Celestine didn't make a sound as he walked other than the occasional sniff since somewhere along the way his nose had decided that it wanted to try to run. He was a little surprised when they said they were here and he looked over the house. He'd walked by this one two or three times already. He continued to just stand there with his arms crossed tightly over his chest while Yoichi's mother opened the door. He stood there when she went in and then glanced at Yoichi for a moment when she told him to come in. He looked back to her a little unsurely, already knowing that he was going to completely soak their floor when he came in. He sighed softly when she told him not to worry about being wet and then reluctantly stepped inside the house. The floor was cold against his bare feet and he could hear the water running in small streams out of his wings, which hadn't been well covered by the umbrella and were more or less dripping water like one might expect to see from an sponge that had absorbed more water than it could hold. His knee length hair wasn't fairing much better as fat as that went. Even with being under the umbrella it was still dripping and he rather quickly formed a puddle where he stood, though he was trying not to move around much to avoid getting water all over the place in someone else's house. He only moved enough to get out of the doorway so that Yoichi could get inside before he planted himself and stood with his arms crossed since that was about the warmest position he could come up with. He sniffed again and then raised his hand to stifle a cough as the action sent a rather obnoxious tickle through his throat. Well he couldn't really deny it well anymore even if he wanted to. He had a cold and after his lovely shower he was probably getting to be a little on the hypothermic side. He was cold enough that he was visibly shivering, and he really didn't have the clothes or the body fat to reserve heat, especially since his feet and head were both exposed and that tended to be where one lost the most heat. Obviously he hadn't left the house expecting foul weather or colder temperatures than what there were this morning. At least in the morning when he was dry the chill was tolerable, this was just down right freezing.

Aamori lifted her head a little when she caught what Marius had asked. She almost didn't catch that mostly because he hadn't used her name to direct it at her. She glanced over at him and smiled weakly. "...No, I don't." She answered. "I just didn't want to go back to sleep yet." She paused, stifling another yawn. "I just got up." She kind of wished that she'd woken up sooner. With it already being dark out and the weather being bad like it was there wasn't much of a reason to be awake, or at least there was nothing to keep her awake. Aside from that she was half tempted to walk over to the other house. She did want to know if Celestine was indeed over there. Not to mention she was pretty sure she'd been sleeping in the room that Marius had claimed and she didn't want to be taking the bedroom away from him again. At least in the other house there were more rooms open since only Kyran and Nero were over there, and maybe Celestine.

LaRae lingered by the door momentarily before she finally started over towards the bed. She paused at the nightstand and turned the lamp on before getting a better look at the bed. It was hard enough to see Kanone without the light on since he was buried under the covers. She gave the bed a once over and then sighed heavily. Maybe getting him out of the bed was going to be harder than she originally imagined. She really had hoped it'd be as easy as shaking him a little and saying his name. She didn't think it would hurt to at least try, anyway. She reached over with her right hand and started to shake him a little roughly, hoping she'd only grabbed his shoulder like planned. Since she couldn't see him clearly she wasn't one hundred percent sure. "Kanone, hey... wake up." She added while continuing to shake him.

Yoichi waited until after Celestine had already gone inside before he started to close up the umbrella and step inside himself. He set the umbrella upside down in a slightly tall cylinder vase beside the door to dry and then glanced over at Celestine. He couldn't believe that he was dripping water like he was, but with wings like those maybe it wasn't really that hard to believe. He wouldn't know since his wings didn't even hold water. He stood where he was for a moment longer before he started past where his mother was standing and headed towards the kitchen and dinning room area. He intended to go change his own clothes and get a towel for his hair. He had managed to get nice and wet thanks to slipping out from under the umbrella to stop Celestine from getting away.

Emiko glanced over to Yoichi when he started past her and headed towards his room, she assumed. She looked back over towards Celestine for a moment noticing just how cold she must have be. Especially since she was shivering so noticeably. She looked back to Yoichi and opened her mouth in time to catch him before he rounded the corner into the kitchen. "Would you do me a favor?" She asked. "Show Celestine to the bathroom with some dry clothes." She paused. "Then bring me a towel or something so I can start mopping up the water."

Yoichi paused when he heard his mother and turned to look back at her for a moment. He merely nodded his head after hearing her request and then motioned for Celestine to follow him. Thankfully there wasn't exactly a way to get lost in this house. After turning the corner there was a small hall on the left of the kitchen with a few doors. One was his, one was his sisters and the other was the bathroom. He continued down the hall long enough to stop at the bathroom door and push it open before continuing on to his room to gather some clothes.

Marius smiled slightly when she said that she didn't plan to go to sleep and then yawned. He shook his head and then laughed softly, "Yes, but it seems like you say as well...unless you're hungry. Nearly everyone else is still sleeping, and I don't believe there is too much to do with all of this rain." He was taken by surprise at another loud crack of thunder that caused him to jump and throw his hands up as if to cover his ears, though he didn't quite make it to that point. After a second he lowered his hands back to his lap as he shook his head a little when the ringing sound came back again and just laid his ears back slightly before he let out a weak laugh. He felt a little silly jumping like that every time it thundered since it didn't seem to be bothering anyone else, really.

Kanone didn't even react at first when LaRae started to shake him but after the thunder on top of it he groaned and slipped his arm out from under the cover, swatting at LaRae's hand. "Mmmmrhh...five more minutes...mom...." he grumbled as he dropped his arm back on top of the pillow. He barely sounded awake enough to even know what planet he was on, and his voice was muffled by the pillow. Only a few seconds after he'd spoke a very muffle snoring sound started to emit from the pillow. Kanone certainly was a very heavy sleeper, which was probably why Celestine found it easier to just literally kick him off of the bed rather than waste his time shaking him.

Celestine glanced at Yoichi's mother again when she spoke to Yoichi and then groaned softly to himself when she mentioned needing a towel to mop up the water. Well, if that wasn't embarrassing, he didn't know what was. He glanced down and sighed softly before he looked after Yoichi when he motioned for him to follow. He really didn't want to move and leave a trail through the house. "...Sorry about the mess..." he said quietly before he turned to follow Yoichi. He really didn't want to be in the house at all, but it was a tiny bit better than being outside. It was just too cold out there to not come inside as uncomfortable as being inside made him. He tried to move quickly to get as little water in the floor as he possibly could and then slipped into the bathroom once Yoichi had opened the door. He didn't spend more than a couple of seconds looking around, he just hurried to the stand in shower and stepped inside so that at least he would drip in a place with a drain rather than make a mess. He felt his claustrophobia taking over in the smaller space, but he just took a few deep breaths. So long as it was open so that he could get out he was a little better off... He finally dragged his long mass of pale green hair over his shoulder and started to wring the water from it befroe he leaned back against the wall, pressing his wings until he could feel a good bit of the water squeezing from his feathers. He made a face when he felt the cold water splashing around his feet and then sighed softly. Just as he pushed away from the back wall he sneezed quietly and then sighed as he absently pushed his hand back through his hare, pushing his wet bangs out of his face so that they stuck back a little. He could stand them in his face so long as they were dry, but they irritated him to no end when they were wet and stringy. He didn't even really think about why he had bangs in the first place anymore, he was so used to being alone before that whenever he was wet he usually didn't even care if his forehead was covered or not.
