Kanone laughed again softly and then shrugged a little. "Oh well, yeah, there is that, I guess..." He said lightly as he watched him get up. He blinked when he saw his back and tilted his head a little, his smile fading a bit. He couldn't see it that well, but he could still see well enough to see what Nero was talking about. He watched silently as he moved toward the door and then watched him go back to get his shirt. He smiled again weakly when he asked if he would hush about his wounds once he let Celestine look at his arm. "Sure...unless you let your leg get infected," he said simply. He was honestly a little more worried about the wounds on his legs than his arm, but the arm had gotten to it more since it had gotten infected and Nero seemed to have more trouble taking care of it on his own. At least with both arms he could fend for himself more easily.

Nero started to walk back towards the door now that he had his shirt on. He sighed quietly after hearing Kanone's answer. "To my knowledge my leg is fine. No infection anywhere and I've been keeping it cleaned up so there shouldn't be anything to worry about." He said once he'd reached the door. He knew he needed to keep a close eye on his leg, considering the depth of at least one of the teeth that went into his leg. He had been doing his best to keep it cleaned up and wrapped. After hearing what he had from Kanone he really had no intention of letting him see what his leg looked like. The last thing he needed was have him see what his leg looked like and then get concerned about that as well. It wasn't really as bad as it could be but it didn't look all that great either. He shook his head very slightly and then slipped out into the hall to head towards the front of the house to the other set of bedrooms. He didn't walk his usual pace mostly because he was being cautious and not putting his full weight down on the one leg that had been wounded. He was walking with a limp but thankfully it wasn't quiet as noticeable as it could have been. He shifted his glance briefly between the two rooms with the open doors once he'd made it to the front of the house. He wasn't really surprised to see Kyran missing from the room he had been using. He kind of figured he wasn't here since he hadn't been pestered at all by Hikari so far today. He stepped over to the other room and leaned against the door frame a little as he across the room to the window that Celestine was sitting in. "...Your cousin won't shut up until I have you take care of my arm..." He muttered listlessly.

Kanone watched as Nero started to the door again and nodded slightly when he said that his leg was fine and that he'd been keeping it clean. So long as he could take care of it himself and would, he didn't have too much of a problem with it, though he still wished that he would let someone else check it out. Once Nero made it out to the hall he just sighed softly and then laid back on the bed to wait for him to get back. He was at least glad that he was going to listen to him this time.

Celestine was still perched in the window staring out over the sands while trying to enjoy the breeze. He wasn't paying too much attention to the rest of the room, he was just humming softly to that same tune that he usually played on his pipe. Her ear twitched a little when Nero came up to the door and he ceased his humming before he even spoke as he looked over to him. He tilted his head a bit when Nero said that his cousin wouldn't shut up. He sighed softly and shook his head a little before slowly shifting so that he could put his feet back on the floor again. He stood and then made his way silently over to the door where Nero was standing. "...Sorry about him..." he said in that same quiet voice, "...If you don't want to be bothered it's better not to let him know anything is wrong...he hovers..." He looked down to Nero's arm again and then held out his hands. "...I'll do what I can... It should at least be enough to get him off your back." He really didn't mind exercising his healing abilities a little. After a moment he looked back up to him again and then reached over to take his good arm gently. "...You should probably sit down...," he said simply as he gave him a light tug. He didn't know if he could stay standing after this, and he knew Nero probably didn't need to be standing on that leg any more than he had to.

Nero sighed quietly. "It's kind of hard to keep the injuries from him when he was right there to see when I got hurt." He paused briefly. "Besides, he isn't exactly an idiot... even if I told him I was fine he still worries. It's extremely annoying..." He shook his head slightly and then looked down at Celestine once he'd taken hold of his good arm. He nodded his head weakly after hearing that he should probably sit down. He headed towards the bed almost reluctantly once he felt Celestine tug on his arm. He really did kind of hate being boxed in to having this done but there wasn't really any other way to get Kanone to shut up. All things considered he was starting to think he'd just need to go out of his way to make sure that he didn't get any more injuries that could lead to this happening again. He sighed quietly once he reached the bed and started to sit down on the edge of it. "....So, you can heal?" He paused. "How long have you been able to do that?" He was kind of curious since he hadn't really been aware that Celestine could heal. He hadn't gone and flaunted it quite like Hikari had. Then again with Hikari it was almost expected since she was a light dragon.

Celestine released Nero's arm once he started to move and then nodded slightly. "...Yeah...it's annoying..." he said quietly, "you learn to ignore him eventually..." He waited for Nero to get himself situated on the bed and then moved over to sit beside him. He sat down facing him and pulled his legs up under him so that he was sitting on them on the bed. He started to reach over to his arm again and then raised his eyes back to his face once again when he asked how long he had been able to heal. "...A while..." he said quietly, "My mother was the village healer...she started teaching me as soon as I was old enough to start learning." He lowered his eyes back to Nero's arm again, "I only know enough to heal flesh wounds and burns...that's all, and I'm no where near as good as she was..." Of course considering how young he was while learning and how long it had been since he'd lost his teacher that shouldn't have been any real surprise. Finally he raised his hand and reached over to Nero's arm, gently positioning it so that he could get to it easily. He held his hand under his arm carefully cradling it to hold it up a bit and then placed his over hand just an inch or so over it. "Don't talk until I'm finished," he said quietly since he had a little harder time concentrating on this when someone was talking to him. After a moment he closed his eyes and started to move his mouth, chanting the words silently to himself. Like all the other times, that din green aura emitted from his palm and the cool air started to circulate between his palm and Nero's arm as his bangs and the hair that hung over his shoulders started to blow about gently as if caught in the breeze. It took a moment for the wound to start noticeably closing as he worked from the inside out, taking care of the deepest parts first. It took him a couple of minutes before the redness started to fade from the wounds and the gashes started to close up more, reducing themselves to little more than mild scrapes and cuts. He felt himself starting to fall forward and quickly opened his eyes and ceased chanting as he strengthened himself up. He lowered his hand and looked down at his arm again, panting softly and looking a little disgruntled when he saw the marks that remained. Well at least the deep wounds and the infection was gone. "...Sorry...that's the best I can do..." he said tiredly.

Nero couldn't really help hoping that he'd learn to ignore Kanone quickly. He could stand to live without Kanone being worried over injuries and what not, especially when he didn't think they were that bad. He looked down at Celestine once he had started to answer the question he had asked and then continued to go on about who had taught him. He nodded his head a little once Celestine had finished speaking. "I suppose that explains why Hikari's been doing all the work." He commented quietly. He didn't mean for that to come off sounding bad in any way. Though it did make sense at least for Hikari to be doing most of the work since Celestine didn't know how to do quite as much as she could. He nodded his head again a little once Celestine had told him not to talk until he was finished. That was pretty easy to do since he didn't really care to talk unless there was something to talk about and with Celestine the conversation was kind of limited any way. He didn't bother paying any attention to Celestine while he worked. If you'd been healed by one person than you'd pretty much seen all there was to see, at least in his opinion. He shut his eyes and sat there quietly while Celestine worked and didn't bother opening his eyes again until it felt like he had finished. He looked to Celestine first and almost immediately regretted giving in to Kanone once he'd seen how tired Celestine seemed. He finally glanced down to his arm after hearing him say that was the best he could do. Even with a couple cuts it was far better than it had been and so long as it shut Kanone up he really didn't care that Celestine hadn't healed them enough that they were no longer visible. "This is fine." He told him. "All I needed was to shut your cousin up and this'll do the job just fine." He added quietly. "...Thanks." He glanced back to Celestine briefly. "...Are you going to be alright?" He asked a little curiously.

Celestine wasn't really offended by the notion that Hikari had been doing all of the work. For the most part she had, though he had done a few small shares that Nero hadn't really been around for or paid attention to. Either way, he really didn't care. He wasn't really a healer and he didn't care to do it unless needed. He thought Nero's arm was serious enough that he could stand to look at it, which was about the only reason he was bothering, well that and he did kind of save his bacon. He nodded slightly when he said that was good enough and thanked him. "...You're welcome," he said after a moment. He shifted positions a little and put his hand on the bed beside him to prop himself up a little and then nodded again after he asked if he would be alright. "Yeah...in a few minutes," he said quietly. He'd just used a little too much energy too fast since he hadn't quite learned to control the output yet. To top it off he wasn't really in tip top shape, so he was a little more tired than he normally would have been.

Nero inspected his arm a little more closely while he ran his other hand across the forearm that Celestine had just healed. Aside from the cuts that remained he was pleasantly surprised by the job that Celestine had done. He glanced over to Celestine once he'd heard him speak. He felt a little better hearing Celestine say that he would be alright in a few minutes. He still didn't quite like the idea of having been healed especially since it clearly took a bit out of Celestine but it was a little late to change his mind on the whole ordeal. He sighed quietly and started to stand up from the bed. He glanced back at Celestine momentarily and then inched closer to the door. He didn't really have anything against Celestine but he really didn't want to be in the room with him any longer than needed. He'd already gotten Kanone stuck being friendly with him he didn't want to leave any chance to add to the number of friends for lack of better words, that he was slowly starting to acquire. "I'll let you rest." He told him as he reached the door and started to slip into the hall so that he could back to his room.

Celestine watched Nero inspect his arm while he caught his breath and then sighed softly, glad that he seemed satisfied with the job. He was just glad he could help somehow. He watched silently as Nero got up and started toward the door, saying nothing to stop him. He had nothing against Nero either, but he really didn't have anything to say to him either. He just nodded slightly when he said that he would let him rest and then sighed softly. "Alright," he said quietly. He shifted positions a little and then got his legs out from under him so that they were hanging over the edge of the bed. After another minute or so he pushed himself up slowly and then walked back over to the window and sat down on the edge again before pulling one leg up to rest on the sill while he turned himself to the side a bit so that he could go back to looking outside. He was already getting over the healing at any rate. He recovered from using his energy rather quickly, it was just he initial output that usually wore him out.

Nero glanced back into the room briefly once he'd heard Celestine say 'alright'. He nodded his head slightly and then proceeded to walk back to the other side of the house to the room he was using. He glanced towards the kitchen momentarily as he walked past it which of course gave way for his stomach to growl a little. He heaved a heavy sigh and shook his head a little. He hadn't eaten in a couple days and apparently his stomach was ready to complain about it. He had no real desire to eat anything at the moment anyway so it was a futile complaint by his stomach. He continued down to the room he was using and stepped inside, not at all surprised to find that Kanone had decided to lay back on his bed while he had stepped out of the room. He started over to the bed and stared down at Kanone for a moment before he shook his head. "I go get my arm taken care of and you make yourself right at home?" He sighed quietly. "Do you need to inspect my arm or is my word good enough when I say your cousin took care of it?" He asked half sarcastically.

Kanone still hadn't really moved from where he'd been when Nero left. He was just laying back with his legs hanging over the side and his arms behind his head. He glanced over to the door when it opened again and smiled slightly when he saw Nero coming back. He laughed softly when he mentioned him making himself at home. "Well sure, why not?" he asked asked as he uncrossed his arms and pushed himself up to a sitting position. He shook his head a little and then tilted his head, "I guess I can take your word for it," he said lightly. "Not that you have many ways to hide it if you were lying," he pointed out. He stretched slightly and then tilted his head a little. "Well, does that feel better?" He asked simply. He knew it probably wore Celestine out just a little, but he also knew he'd get over it pretty fast since he usually did.

Nero continued to look down at Kanone at least until he started to sit up. Once he was sitting up he started to go to the edge of the bed and sit down himself. He nodded his head a little after hearing Kanone's question about his arm feeling better. "Yes, for the most part." He answered. "It isn't like I could say it still hurt, there's no real injury left to prove that was correct." He sighed quietly. "I still wish I hadn't gone and gotten him to take care of that wound." He paused. "He looked tired afterward, which is what I wanted to avoid." He shook his head lightly. "I really didn't want to go having him heal me if it was going to wear him out..." He muttered quietly. He had pretty much decided it was Kanone's fault that Celestine got tired. If Kanone hadn't pestered him so much than he wouldn't have even bothered to go get his arm healed in the first place.

Kanone watched as Nero came back over to sit down and tilted his head as he looked at his arm and then smiled slightly. "Well, kid did a decent job," he said approvingly. He sighed softly when Nero said that he still wished he hadn't gone to ask him to do it. "...It's alright, he'll be fine. He always uses a little more energy than he needs on those spells, but he gets over it relatively quickly." He smiled at him again and shook his head, "I wouldn't have asked him to do it in the first place if I thought it would hurt him. Besides...like I said before if he didn't want to do it he wouldn't have." he chuckled softly and then shook his head a little. "Either he likes you or he just thought it looked pretty damn bad, one of the two. That's about the only time he'll agree to it."

Nero looked down at his arm again once Kanone had mentioned that Celestine had done a decent job. He couldn't really argue that and he was kind of happy to not be in as much pain as he was. Though he wasn't likely to admit that. He still would've preferred to have left the wound alone and let it heal on it's own but Kanone had made letting that happen very difficult. He glanced over to Kanone briefly and shrugged. "Even if he didn't want to do it I think he probably would've since in his opinion he owed me for the other day." He shook his head slightly. "Thanks to that I now know who to push all of the dead weight on should I ever feel the need to play hero." He paused. "...Speaking of your cousin ...isn't it strange for him to be inside? I mean... every time I have taken note of where he's at it's usually outside." He hadn't really given that any thought until now but it was a little weird to have gone to a bedroom to get his aid rather than to have gone somewhere outside.

Kanone shook his head slightly when he said that Celestine thought he owed him for the other day. "I kind of doubt that... He just likes to make sure he thanks people. He never thinks he owes anyone anything. If anyone ever did something for him and then brought it up later like he owed them for it he would tell them off and probably never accept anything from them ever again." He shook his head again and half smiled. "He thinks nice things should be done and then not brought up again by the person who did it...which I guess he has a point." He blinked, looking a little confused when Nero mentioned knowing who to shove the dead weight off on. "Huh?" He wasn't entirely sure what he meant, but when he brought up the fact that Celestine was staying inside, he forgot about it anyway. "...Huh...I hadn't really noticed... of course I haven't even seen him in a few days, this is the first I've been over here, but yeah...usually he prefers to stay outside the walls. I would have thought someone would have had to have picked him up and carried him in kicking and screaming to get him to stay inside after that tower locked us in. Hell, I closed him in a closet once for a few minutes when we were little and he wouldn't even step foot back in the house for days unless his mom was there letting him cling to her and then he still wouldn't let anyone close the door." He laughed weakly and rubbed his head, "That's kind of how I figured out he's claustrophobic."

Nero shook his head and glanced over to Kanone briefly. "Well aren't you a nice cousin." He paused. "Confining the kid in a closet." He shook his head again lightly. "His claustrophobia is a little over the top. Then again I'm not claustrophobic so I have no idea what goes through his mind." He shrugged a little. "I just happened to notice that he was actually inside when I went to get him to look at my arm. I thought it was a little weird, especially now after being reminded of his claustrophobia." He paused. "Since I haven't really left the room at all I don't know if this is just a today thing or not... I didn't even really know he was over here, technically. The last I knew it was just Kyran and myself."

Kanone laughed weakly. "Of course I am... If that had been anyone else I would have beaten the crap out of them." He shook his head a little and then sighed, "I let him out as soon as he started freaking. I didn't know he was that spastic." He tilted his head a little and sighed, "Well...I am a little claustrophobic...not as bad as he is, but I don't like being closed up in anything that I can't get out of and can't move around easily in, especially if it's dark because that just makes it worse. Basically it just feels like all of the walls are just getting closer until they're going to crush you and it feels like you're running out of air and can't breathe and there's no way out." He smiled slightly, "I guess with him it's a little worse. It's scary as hell if you really can't get out of some place. I guess that's why he hates being surrounded on all sides by walls and having a roof over his head." He tilted his head a little and then shrugged. "...I dunno...Gramps is over here, too, I'm surprised he hasn't been bugging you to death. He left a few days back and he's just been camping out over here for the most part." He sighed, "Hmm...wonder if I've been left out of the loop on something."

Nero couldn't help but roll his eyes a little after listening to Kanone go on about their claustrophobia. Small closed in spaces really didn't bother him and personally he liked closed in spaces better when they were dark. He liked anything better when it was dark but that was to be expected. He didn't really understand their claustrophobia and to him it really was something silly to be afraid of but to each their own he guessed. "I don't really think there is ever no way out of somewhere." He started. "I mean... if you got into the place... there has to be a way out, it just isn't always easy to find." He shrugged lightly. He was a little surprised to hear that Marius was over here as well. He hadn't really noticed before but if Celestine was over here than it wasn't that hard to believe that Marius would've come too. He sighed quietly. "I'm actually glad he hadn't been bothering me... but if he wasn't bothering me even a little, enough to let me know he was here... he must have had something else preoccupying him." He paused and glanced over to Kanone briefly. "That wouldn't surprise me." He commented in response to his wondering if he'd been left out of something.

Kanone sighed softly and offered another slight smile, "Well, yeah, but...when you're panicking and can't breathe, if it's not an easy way out you're probably not going to find it." He shook his head a little, "You can roll your eyes all you like, you wouldn't get it unless you felt it. Maybe it just has something to do with our breed. Dark doesn't like light, wind doesn't like being confined. Nearly everyone I know is claustrophobic to some extent." He huffed a little when he said that it wouldn't surprise him for him to have been left out of the loop on something. "Hmmm..." he groaned, sounding a little disgruntled, though he didn't bother to say anything else. He was pretty sure he knew right were to go to get an answer if he needed one. "Guess I'll just ask Aamori later," he said simply.

Aamori was finally getting back to the house on the island where Celestine was staying after retrieving his necklace. It had taken her a bit longer to find it and escape the house than she had intended. It was already dangerously close to sun down by the time she made it back to the island and near the house. She would have been back sooner since it didn't take too long to find the necklace but as she'd feared her parents had wanted her to stay a little while since she'd actually come over to their house. She would've been there longer had she not taken the one free moment when they weren't all in the same room to escape. She sighed quietly once she reached the steps to the porch and started up them. She wasn't all that surprised to see that Celestine hadn't really moved from the window since she left earlier. Rather than head inside she started over towards the window while unraveling the necklace from her wrist. She held it out towards him after she'd gotten it free. "Sorry that took me so long..." She paused. "This is the necklace, right?"

Celestine still hadn't really moved from the window at all. Kanone had finally decided to leave Nero in peace and then came down to pester him for a while, but after he wouldn't spill the beans about what was going on he'd finally given up and gone back to the other house since Aamori wasn't here and he had no idea when she would be back. Celestine had already nearly dozed off in the window by the time that Aamori did return and nearly startled at the sound of her voice when she approached him and held out the necklace. He smiled slightly when his eyes caught on it and reached out to place his hand under the pendant. "Thank you..." he said quietly before he pulled the necklace closer to him. He already looked relieved just having it back in his hands. Once he had it close enough he took the string and pulled it down over his head before sitting up just enough that he could pull his hair out of the way and then smiled at her again. "I'm glad you found it... Sorry you had to go all the way over there..." He'd been able to tell when she was leaving that she wasn't too thrilled about the trip.

Nanashi was still sitting outside on the porch swing, though by now he'd already dozed off and woken up several times. He was just starting to wake up again when he noticed how late it was getting. He glanced around, still seeing no sign of his coat or LaRae. He assumed that if she had come back that she would have draped it over him or something at least since it was getting chilly out here...for him at least. Again, he got up slowly and moved over to the front doors, opening one so that he could go inside. He checked the room that they were sharing and didn't see her anywhere. With a heavy sigh he crossed the hallway to peek into Kanone's room. "...Kanone?" he asked quietly, testing to see if he was awake. With the way he was laying there with his arms crossed behind his head and his eyes closed it was hard to tell.
Kanone cracked his eyes open when he heard Nanashi and then peeked over at him, tilting his head slightly. "Yeah?" he asked as he say up on his elbows a little.
"...Have you seen LaRae?"
"No, I haven't seen her all day. Why?"
"...Oh...I was just wondering if she was back yet," he responded quietly.
"Ah...well, sorry, I didn't even know she'd left. If I spot her I'll let her know she's being looked for." Though honestly, there weren't too many places for her to be here that she wouldn't see Nanashi herself.
He just nodded slightly. "Thanks..." he responded quietly before he backed out of the room and went back across the hallway to get his shoes. Once he had them on he started back toward Hikari's room to see if Kyran was still there. He knew that he'd warned him in Caledonia that it wasn't a good idea to wander around by himself, and he would rather ask him to go with him than Kanone since he knew him a little better and Kanone just didn't seem like he cared a whole lot either way. He stopped about the time that he got to the kitchen, however, and then sighed softly. He didn't really want to pull Kyran away from Hikari since they hadn't seem much of each other lately just so he could play bodyguard to him. Honestly, he didn't know that it would help matter much having someone with him anyway. People certainly didn't seem too thrilled to see him in the market with LaRae and their clans were on friendly terms even. Still, no one had bothered to try to hurt him then, though he'd given someone the perfect chance when he backed into them. He sighed again and turned to go back to the door, fairly certain that if he just walked and didn't bother anyone that no one would do him him harm. Now he only hoped he had the energy to walk all the way to the training building. He was still pretty wobbly on his legs from lack of use and even walking through the halls unsupported by anything was hard to manage. He could just imagine walking the sand, though he was fairly used to that feeling anyway. He just had to make sure nothing had happened to LaRae. It really wasn't like her to be gone this long, especially when she was doing something that pertained to him. He hadn't been able to get rid of her before, not that he wanted to, so he didn't know what would make her stay out this long now.

Aamori was glad to see Celestine looked relieved once he had the necklace back. She was really glad that she could get him back something that was obviously important to him. "You're welcome." She responded with a slight smile. She shook her head a little when he said that he was sorry she had to go all the way out there. "You don't have to apologize. I wanted to do it." She told him quietly. She didn't really want to go to her parents house but she did want to retrieve his necklace for him and unfortunately his necklace just happened to be somewhere that she didn't really want to go. She sighed quietly. "My mother wanted to apologize. She found the necklace but didn't remember you wearing one so she didn't send it over here with your clothes... and then she couldn't remember where exactly she put it when I asked about it."

Celestine nodded slightly as he listened to her and then sighed quietly. He hadn't really expected her mother to remember everything that he was wearing, though he would have thought that it would have been fairly obvious who it belonged to. After all, it wasn't hers and he highly doubted Yoichi or her husband would be wearing much jewelry. Even still, he didn't really care so long as he got it back. "It's alright...I'm just glad I didn't lose it." He leaned back against the window sill again and then laid his hand lightly over the pendant where it rested against his chest. "It was my mother's..." he said quietly, sure that was enough to tell her why it was so important to him. After all, he even kept his mother's favorite hair ribbon and wore it occasionally. He glanced back up to her and smiled slightly as he tilted his head. "...Well...do you want to come inside or are you content with taunting me because you can stand on the porch without getting yelled at?"

Nanashi didn't bother to stop again as he passed Kanone's room and just continued on down the hall to the front doors again and then slipped outside. He moved over to the stairs and then started down them slowly, clinging to the railing as tightly as he could until he reached the sand. He wobbled once his feet hit the unsteady surface and then shook his head slightly before he started forward slowly, releasing the railing once once he was too far away from it to hold on. He glanced back to the door briefly and then sighed quietly before starting to make his way up the beach and toward the bridge. He absently checked his pocket to make sure that he did have his pass with him and sighed when he felt it in his pocket. He crossed his arms over his chest lightly, partially to try to hide his bare skin. He really didn't want to go out looking like this, but he didn't have anything else that he could wear.

Aamori nodded her head a little when he said that he was glad that he didn't lose it. Since it meant so much to him and was his mothers even, she was really glad that it hadn't been lost either. Knowing now that the necklace had belonged to his mother she really would've been upset if she hadn't been able to find it. She would have hated for something of his mothers to have gone missing here; in her territory of all places. "I'm really glad that I could get that back to you." She told him quietly. She stared over at him for a moment after he asked if she wanted to come inside or if she was content taunting him from the porch. She shook her head lightly. "I have a feeling I may never hear something like that come out of your mouth again." She paused. "I mean, who would've thought you would be asking me if I wanted to come inside." She chuckled lightly. "As nice as it is on the porch, I do think it'd be mean of me to stay out here." She said quietly and then started to head towards the door. Once she reached the door she slipped inside and made sure that the door shut quietly behind her before she started to head over to the room that Celestine was using. She paused just inside the door and stared over at him with a slight smile. "Is this better?" She asked half sarcastically.

Celestine smiled slightly and nodded when she said that she was glad she could get the necklace back to him, but then rolled his eyes when she commented about him inviting her inside. "I would much rather join out on the porch," he said flatly. He shook his head again when she said that it would be meant to stay out there and then just sighed. He really did want to get out of here, but he didn't really care where she decided to stand. He watched her head toward the porch and then turned his attention over to the door when she asked if that was better. "A little," he said in the same tone that she'd used. He sighed softly and turned in the window so that he could stand up again, wincing a little when he straightened out. He'd been sitting in the same position for so long that he was starting to get stiff in his lower back. "I had all kinds of company while you were gone..." he said simply as he rolled his eyes a little. "Kanone interrogated me for nearly an hour about why I was staying inside."

Nanashi was making fairly slow progress up the beach, mostly because he didn't want to miscue and fall on his face in the sand. He glanced at the second house in time to see Aamori going inside and Celestine turning away from the window. He thought briefly about going up to see if she was there, but he didn't know why she would be. He though it would be simpler to just ask one of the guards if she had come come back through. Once he finally reached the bridge he took a deep breath and approached one of the guards, though he kept his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes cast down. "...E-excuse me..." he said in an almost inaudible voice, "...H-has the earth dragon that...left this morning...come back through...?" he asked, glancing up only once just long enough to make sure he'd even gotten the guard's attention in the first place. He hoped these were the same two that had been there this morning when LaRae left or he probably wouldn't have any clue what he was talking about.
