Aamori continued to look over at Celestine and watched him as he stood up. She'd caught him wince and wanted to ask if he was alright but his following statement threw her off a little. "All kinds of company? Kanone's only one kind, isn't he?" She said with a slight shake of her head. "I swear I haven't said a word to him about you." She was actually a little proud of herself for keeping that under wraps for as long as she had. It was bad enough that he had to stay in the house, he didn't need to have Kanone hovering over him making the whole experience worse. She didn't really think that she wanted to deal with Celestine if Kanone found out and it was her fault. She quirked her brow slightly. ".....So, is it safe to assume he didn't get anything out of you?" She asked quietly. She was guessing since she didn't see him right around here that Celestine hadn't told him a single thing but she wanted to make sure that she was right.

The guards were standing on the bridge conversing amongst themselves. They'd just recently switched out with the two guards that had been at this post earlier. They barely noticed when the fire dragon walked up to the bridge and spoke. The volume of voice that he used to try and get their attention was a little pathetic. Had he not been so red they probably would've continued to ignore him but the color was a little unnerving at least until they both focused on his lack of horns. That of course put them both a little more at ease. Both guards glanced between one another after they'd heard the fire dragons questions and then shook their heads. "No, I can't say we've seen the earth dragon." One pipped up to answer. "We just recently switched posts with the set of guards that were here earlier." The other added. They ordinarily may not have even answered the question but since he was only a halfbreed it was a little easier dealing with the guy. After all, two well trained water dragon guards could more than likely handle a fire dragon halfbreed without any hassle, or at least they both thought that.

Celestine shook his head slightly when Aamori said that Kanone was only one kind of company. "...I suppose...but he also got me to go see Nero about his arm... It was infected, but he wouldn't let me do anything with it. Kanone whined at him until he came back here and let me heal it." He shook his head again and then smiled slightly and then shook hid head when she told him anything. "I didn't think that you had..." he said simply and then sighed, "No, I didn't say anything except 'get out.'" He walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge while still looking over to her and motioned for her to come on over with a tilt of his head.

Nanashi was a little relieved that the guards actually decided to answer him and weren't complete asses about it. He sighed softly when they told him that they hadn't seen her and had just switched posts. "...Alright. Sorry to bother you," he responded in the same quiet voice. He glanced up again, looking back in the general direction of the training building. His ears laid back slightly and he sighed again before he started to move forward slowly, keeping his arms crossed tightly over his chest. He was already a little tired from walking to the bridge but he didn't want to walk back to the house since he was losing his daylight pretty quickly. He just lowered his eyes to the ground a little and continued forward carefully, just trying to get to the training building to see if she was still there or something. If she wasn't there he really had absolutely no idea where else he could look for her.

Aamori was a little surprised to hear that his other company was Nero of all people. Though after hearing the reasons behind it she wasn't quite as surprised. "Sounds like Kanone kind of gave you both the run around today." She commented quietly. "Is Nero alright since you took care of his arm?" She asked. She wasn't exactly dying to know but she couldn't help asking. It was a relatively normal question to ask after hearing what she had. She was kind of happy to know that he didn't think she'd told Kanone anything. She knew that sometimes she didn't have the quietest mouth when it came to keeping things from others so she really wouldn't have been surprised to hear that he'd thought it was her that had said something to Kanone. She watched him when he started over towards the bed and sat down. She stared at him for a moment after she'd seen him motion for her to come over and then finally started to move away from the door. Once she reached the bed she sat down, leaving a comfortable amount of space between Celestine and herself.

The guards kept an eye on him for a moment once he'd said he was sorry for bothering them. It wasn't really that much of a bother, all they'd really done was answer a question. Had he been anything more then a halfbreed they probably would've expected that small form of an apology if not more. They both watched as he continued forward. One of the guards kept an eye on him a bit longer than the other and was half tempted to ask if the fire dragon had his pass on him but he rather quickly decided not to say anything. It'd be the guys own fault if he went onto the main island without his pass and it'd serve him right if one of the other guards got a hold of him.

Celestine nodded slightly in agreement when Aamori said that it sounded like Kanone had given them both the run around. He shrugged a little when she asked about Nero. "I don't know, I guess so. I couldn't heal it completely, but I got it down to nothing but a couple of small cuts, so he should be fine. He just thanked me and left." That was all he really expected out of him anyway. "If he has any problems it will be out of his leg." He watched as she came over to sit down on the bed and then then glanced away from her again. He was still having a little bit of trouble coming up with something to say to her. He never had quite gotten what he wanted to know out of her before but not he really didn't know how to bring it up. He wasn't much more articulate on the subject than he had been earlier. He looked back to her again and then tilted his head a little when he noticed the distance she's put between them, not that it really bothered him too much either way.

Nanashi didn't bother to look back at the guards once he got going, not wanting to push his luck with them. He hadn't really wanted to speak to them in the first place so he didn't want to stand by too long. He sighed softly as he continued forward toward the houses that he had to pass before he could get through all of these rings to get to the training building. He really didn't like walking between all of these houses since he didn't know how much anyone would like to look out and see a halfbreed cutting through their yard, though he was staying as far away from the houses as he could while he went by. It was the market that he really dreaded getting to since that's where he knew most of the people were.

Aamori nodded her head lightly when she heard the answer to her question. She hadn't focused a whole lot on what injuries everyone had and she certainly had to think hard about it to even remember anything detailed that happened before she had to be resuscitated. She just barely recalled what had happened; Nero had been bitten. She stared over at Celestine for a moment, long enough to notice that he'd looked away. She averted her eyes briefly as well. She wasn't exactly sure what to say to him either and there wasn't a whole lot of things to talk about like with Kanone and Nero visiting him. She didn't really have a reason for putting the distance between them that she had. It wasn't too much really. She continued to sit there quietly and couldn't help feeling a little awkward but she really didn't know what to say to break the silence and that was most likely all thanks to earlier.

Celestine just sat there silently for a few moments before he looked back to her again and started to open his mouth to say something to her, but before he got anything out he just clammed up again and looked away with a soft sigh. He let his gaze turn back toward the window again and just stared out over the sand again, noticing the rosey color that the setting sun cast over the scenery. He let his eyes wander back over to Aamori without moving his head and then turned his eyes back to the window again before he reached over without any warning and took a hold of Aamori's wrist while he stood up. He didn't bother to say anything to her at the moment, just tugged her up and pulled her over to the window with him before he set down on the window sill and turned his body so that he could continue looking outside, trying to leave enough room for her to sit next to him. Finally he spoke, though his voice was soft and he still didn't look at her, rather his eyes seemed transfixed on the waves. "I like it here... There's a good view without all of that fog...it's pretty." He could enjoy looking at the water since it was a rather lovely scenery, but he still didn't feel any urges to go swimming anytime soon. He just sighed and leaned his head against the wood, closing his eyes as a breeze caught his hair and blew some of it off to the side a bit. He seemed to be enjoying the wind more than anything, though that was almost to be expected. After a few seconds he opened his eyes again and then glanced back to Aamori and then down to her wrist, realizing that he'd never let go of it. "...Sorry," he said quietly as he unwrapped his fingers from her wrist and set his hand back in his lap.

Nanashi was trying his best to just hurry up and get out of dodge though he slowed to a stop as he reached the edge of the residential circle and came up to the market. He remembered how displeased everyone seemed to be when they saw him before. Well at least this time he wasn't hanging around window shopping. He took a deep breath and then lowered his head a little as he started forward, still keeping his arms crossed over his half bared chest like a wall as he scurried forward. He made sure to watch where he was going, but kept his eyes down, figuring out the people's positions by seeing where their feet were. He didn't look up at anyone, not even once, just for fear of provoking someone. All he wanted to do was get past this place and get to the park without getting into any trouble. He had a feeling he was going to have to find a bench and take five before he continued the rest of the way to the training building.

Aamori continued to sit where she was quietly though she did look over to Celestine when she felt him take her wrist. She didn't bother to fight him once he started to tug on her wrist as he headed towards the window. She watched him seat himself down on the window sill and half thought of joining him except she was fairly certain that she'd hurt herself one way or the other trying to sit on that sill. It really didn't much thought at all to decide it'd probably be safest to just stand at the window rather than sit in it with him even if that sounded more appealing. She stared out the window until she heard him finally say something. She glanced over at him for a moment and then nodded her head lightly. "It is." She agreed once he'd said it was pretty. "It's been years since I've seen the view like this from these islands." She commented quietly. The fog didn't come down very often and it had been quite a few years since she'd seen the islands without the fog. She looked back out at the view at least until she heard Celestine apologize and released her wrist. She stared over at him for a moment before dropping her eyes down to his lap where his hand was now resting. She didn't think he needed to apologize. If she didn't want him holding onto her wrist she'd have just pulled her arm away. She continued to stand there for a moment before she reached over and grabbed hold of his hand, pulling it closer to her so that their hands were between them. She gave his hand a light squeeze while she averted her eyes and looked back out at the scenery. Her cheeks had tinted a light red hue and she didn't really want to staring at him and make it even easier to tell.

It was rather hard for a fire dragon to go unnoticed in a flood of water dragons in the market district. There just was no way no one would see him. Even though he wasn't really looking at them a good portion of the people stopped where they were and just kind of stared at him as he passed by, waiting until he was far enough away from them before they went on about what they were doing. One individual however had noticed him and done a little more than stare as he passed by, he started to follow after him for a moment. He'd recognized him from a few days ago. Of course it wasn't like it was hard to recognize him. He felt it a little unfortunate for the guy to be out and about without that earth dragon girl with him. At least now the guy was wide open and there wasn't anyone around to help him. It wasn't like any of these water dragons were going to do anything to try and help the guy anyway. Besides, most water dragons were a bit uneasy around fire dragons. He picked up his pace a little to close what little gap there was between them. Without any real warning he lifted his hands up and forced them hard enough to the fire dragons back that it should've knocked him to the ground without too much of a problem. "Didn't you learn the first time that it's better to wander around with someone, rather than by yourself." He paused and shook his head lightly. "Bad things are more likely to happen to you when you're alone." He muttered quietly.

Celestine was a little surprised when Aamori took his hands and looked back to her again quickly. He stared at her for a few moments and then smiled a little when he saw her looking away from him again. He could still see that little pink tint to her face, though he was sure that his matched hers. He closed his fingers around her hands as well and held onto them as he looked back out the window again and then smiled slightly and leaned his head over to rest against their hands lightly. "...You can sit down if you want..." he said softly. That had been the intention when he brought her over to the window with him. He nuzzled lightly against her fingers and then sighed softly and looked out over the water again, though he didn't raise his head.

Nanashi wasn't really paying too much mind to anyone around here, he was just trying to get out of dodge. He already felt self conscious, not only because he stood out like he had a flashing red light over his head, but also because his shirt was ripped open and he still didn't have his gloves to cover the scars on his arms so it was awkward being around all of these people. He was taken completely by surprise when the man shoved him and let out a startled yelp as he stumbled forward, very nearly plowing into another person, though he staggered just off to the side to miss them before he fell on his face with an 'oof', unable to get his arms untangled quickly enough to save himself. He cringed when he felt his right cheek and shoulder grade into the cobblestone. He shut his eyes tightly and lay there for a moment before he started to lift himself up and looked back to the man that had shoved him. He didn't really recognize him, mostly because he'd been trying not to get in anyone's way before. He just stared up at him with those large ruby eyes as his ears fell back slightly. The scrape on his cheek stung badly, but he didn't really seem to pay it any ming. He could already feel himself shaking as he lowered his head and looked away. "...Thanks...I'm used to it..." he whispered quietly, almost sarcastically. He slowly started trying to push himself up again, though it was difficult since he was still so tired from walking out this far. He moved his hand to cover the scrape on his shoulder and lowered his eyes again, "...Please...just leave me alone..." He didn't really want to get into any trouble here, he just wanted to find LaRae.

Aamori's eyes drew back to their hands once Celestine had leaned his head over to rest on their hands. The color to her cheeks became a little more noticeable thanks to that. She continued to stare down at Celestine for a moment after he had said that she could sit down if she wanted. She smiled slightly and then wiggled her fingers a little. "...I'm going to need my hands back..." She said quietly. He may not have had very much trouble getting seated on the window sill but she was fairly certain she couldn't do it without the use of her hands. She wiggled her hands free from his and proceeded to get herself seated on the window sill similarly to the way he was with the exception of her hand placement. She kept her hands as close to the window sill as she could. She knew she wasn't the most graceful or balanced so she wanted to be able to catch herself if she started to lean too far one way or the other.

He stared down at the fire dragon while he tried to push himself up. Of course he didn't care all that much for the kind of sarcastic tone he used when speaking the first time and then the fact that he followed that up with wanting to be left alone only annoyed him more. Unfortunately for the fire dragon he really had no intention of leaving him alone and no in the market really cared to do anything about what was going on. "Just because you asked nicely doesn't mean you'll get what you want." He told him bitterly. Since he hadn't been able to do anything to the guy before when he first wound up bumped into he fully intended to do it now. He decided to take full advantage of the fact that the fire dragon hadn't been able to get to his feet just yet. He moved closer to him and started to draw his leg back so that he could forcefully kick him in the abdomen a few times.

Celestine let her hand her hands back when she started to wiggle them free and then sighed softly as he raised his head and let his hands come to rest in his lap again. He watched as she sat down and then smiled weakly before he shook his head a little after seeing the way that she kept her hands near the sill. "...Are you that off balance?" he asked softly. Honestly, he thought the window sill was plenty big enough to sit on, but of course he was rather used to sleeping in trees, so the thing could have been no wider than a fence post and he would have had no trouble sitting on it...well unless he was wet, then his wings would probably drag him over backwards.

Nanashi just sighed softly upon hearing the man's response. Honestly, he kind of wished he hadn't said anything. Apparently spending so much time around LaRae was rubbing off on him just a tad. Normally he wouldn't have said anything at all. He just continued to try to get up, though he'd only just gotten up to his knees when he felt the man's foot connect with his abdomen. OF course, he didn't have any time to get out of his way. He let out a choked yelp as his hands flew off the ground and he landed on his side on the cobble stone again. He gasped and coughed for a second, trying to catch his breath before he was kicked again, knocking all of the air out of his lungs again. He tried desperately to get up and scurry away, but he could barely move himself enough to get up. The next time he was kicked he felt his meal from earlier in the day lurch up into his throat, but he managed to choke it back down, though he was having a hard time catching his breath. His abdomen already ached and he just gave up on the notion of getting up and remained flattened out on the ground coughing and wheezing as he tried to catch his breath before it could be knocked out of him again. He clawed weakly at the stone in front of him and if trying to get a grip on something that was going to help him out of the situation, but all he did was scrape up his nails a little. After a few seconds he did try to get up again, but he just fell back down and curled up a little since it hurt to straighten out his midsection.

Aamori lifted her eyes a little and looked over at Celestine once he'd asked if she was that off balance. She sighed quietly and averted her eyes. She was pretty sure that he should've been able to answer that question for himself. When it came to walking on ground, sitting or standing places that weren't ordinarily meant to be sat on or stood on... well... she wasn't as well balanced as she would like to be. Clumsy was pretty much the perfect word to describe her, though she did have her extended moments were she could go without that clumsiness showing. "...You've seen me walk on a relatively flat surface and still trip ...and you have to ask that?" She shook her head lightly. "I think it's pretty safe to just call me a klutz..." She mumbled quietly. She knew she wasn't very coordinated when it came right down to it but she couldn't really help hating to admit it. She'd probably trip, fall and hurt herself a lot more than she already did if she didn't recognize that she was clumsy. At least with recognizing it and trying to accept it, it was a little easier to avoid some mishaps. No matter what size the window sill was there was still a chance that she could lean one way or the other and just topple over. That was just her luck.

He stared down at the fire dragon with a rather smug look on his face after he was finished kicking him. After a moment he shook his head a bit. "You're pretty pathetic for a fire dragon..." He paused. "But then again... I suppose that's only because you're a halfbreed." He muttered with a slight shrug. He was starting to find this not as fun as he previously thought it might be. The guy wasn't bothering to put up a fight and he wasn't spouting off at the mouth either. He shook his head again lightly and then proceeded to draw his leg back again so that he could administer another series of forceful kicks to the abdomen. If anything this was at least a great stress reliever for him though he did kind of wish the guy would've put up some sort of a fight instead.

Celestine smiled slightly when she said that it was safe to call her a klutz and then shook his head slightly. "Alright...you're a klutz," he said quietly before he reached over to her and wrapped his arms around her gently, "But I"m not...I wouldn't let you fall." Of course he would certainly try not to, but considering that he was a bit smaller than her he couldn't very well make that a solid promise. He sighed softly and then laid his head on her shoulder briefly before he pulled one arm away and raised it to her face. He knew she was probably embarrassed by what he'd said, but he usually did a fine job of embarrassing her anyway. "...You can turn around and lean on me if you want. I can hold you up."

Nanashi turned his head slightly to look up at the man as he continued to gasp for air. He felt his eyes watering up at he looked at him but he blinked back the tears. He would not cry in front of these people. He was too stubborn to give them the satisfaction of knowing that he was hurt enough to cry. In all honestly, it wasn't the pain that got to him though his abdomen felt like it was about to bust, it was just the very fact that he was lying there more or less suffocating while this jackass beat the living shit out of him, and no one cared to do anything but watch. Of course, he had known from the start that should anything happen to him while he was out that no one here would try to stop them, no one ever did. It seemed like a fun pass time to watch someone beat the snot out of a halfbreed for no good reason. Even still, he always hoped someone might be willing to say 'that's enough' or something on his behalf. He couldn't say that he was disappointed as he'd given up nearly all hope for dragons having a civil bone in their body long ago, but even still after being around the others he was a little spoiled since no one had been bothering him and he had actually been treated like a person even to the point of gaining some affection from them. He was just starting to get the nerve to try to get up again when he felt the guy's foot slam into him again and he let out a sharp yelp before he curled up again and started coughing, trying his best to just roll up and block the kicks with his arms and legs before something got ruptured or something. he sucked in a tiny breath when he felt his arm get kicked an then shut his eyes tightly again. "...Please...." he gasped out quietly. He was trying to just lay there until the man was bored of him, but he didn't know how much more of this he could take. He was just getting over the soreness from his trip down the stairs, and this really was only making it worse. "...You're...not...accomplishing...anything... ." he choked out quietly. He tried once more to start getting up, slowly pushing himself up onto his elbows. He felt sick and honestly didn't know how many more blows to the gut he could take and keep down his breakfast. He was trembling all over and it still hurt to even move, though he was having a hard time of it anyway. "...Just...let me go..." he whispered quietly, though his voice was barely audible. He was still finding it excruciatingly difficult to catch his breath.

Aamori sighed quietly hearing Celestine call her a klutz. Hearing it from someone else was a little harder to stomach as compared to her calling herself that. She turned a slightly brighter shade of red almost immediately after hearing him say that he wouldn't let her fall. Of course the color to her face worsened slightly after he raised his arm and said that she could lean on him if she wanted. She was honestly a little surprised to hear him offer to let her lean on him. She sat there quietly for a moment, half debating with herself on what she wanted to do. Of course she didn't mind leaning on him and being that close but she was still a bit uncomfortable being on the window sill to begin with. It really wouldn't take anything at all for her to slip right off while trying to turn around so that she could lean on him. She sighed quietly and finally nodded her head slightly before she started trying to move. She continued to keep her hands near the sill while she was turning just in case and successfully managed to move with little to no trouble at all. "...Are you sure it's alright?" She asked quietly. She wanted to make sure it was okay before she went leaning on him. She didn't really feel all that comfortable with the idea even though she did want to be close to him. The last thing she wanted was to be leaning on him and wind up taking him down with her on the off chance that she fell out of the window.

He shook his head lightly when he heard the halfbreed choke out that he wasn't accomplishing anything. "On the contrary." He started as he shifted closer to his head. "It's making up for the higher ups injustice of letting someone of your kind into our town." He paused and lifted his foot up high enough that he could stomp it down onto the halfbreed's head. "Not only are you a fire dragon but you're a halfbreed too." He muttered as he started to grind his head into the cobble stone pavement. "We don't like your kind and we commoners certainly don't like having someone like you walking around our town so freely." He added before lifting his foot briefly only to stomp down again and resume grinding his head to the pavement.

Yoichi and Hisako stumbled upon Nanashi getting the life beaten out of him just after the second time the guy had stomped on Nanashi's head. There had been a slight crowd forming so of course they had to see what was causing people to stop what they were doing to watch. By the time Yoichi had gotten through the people that were in his way he'd already prepared to stop the guy without even saying a word. As soon as he'd reached the guy he lifted his leg so that when he kicked the guy his shin connected with the small of the guys back so hard that it sent him flying towards the park area and straight into a cage that Hisako had already created made out of water. Once the guy was contained he waved his hand a bit at the crowd of people who had stopped. "That's enough. Ya'll can go back to what you were doing before this started." He said loud enough that it should have been heard by everyone and gotten them to disperse. He crouched down and looked at Nanashi once everyone had started to go on about their business. "...Hey ...you alright? Still alive I hope." He asked. He had nothing against Nanashi but he couldn't speak for everyone else. He didn't see why that guy felt the need to go beating him up. He was just kind of glad that he and Hisako had stumbled upon this when they did.

Celestine smiled weakly when Aamori started to shift and then asked him if it was alright. "...Of course it is," he said quietly, "You're not heavy... If I didn't want you to, then I wouldn't have offered... It's alright." He leaned himself back against the window sill again and waited for her to get herself comfortable, though he was prepared to reach out and grab her at the first sign that she was slipping either direction off of the window, so he kept his arms free and to his sides. "Don't worry..." He had no intention of letting her fall if he could at all help it. If she did happen to take him with him, he really wouldn't be upset over falling, only that he wasn't able to catch her.

Nanashi shut his eyes tightly when he heard the man's answer to him. "I'm not–" he started, but he didn't get to finish his sentence. He squeaked when he felt the man's foot connect with the back of his head and he had nowhere to go but straight back down. His forehead cracked against the stone and he felt his nose crunch and his teeth sink into his lips. He flattened out on the cobblestone as sharp pains shot through his face and head, and he could feel the blood oozing out of his nose and lip and dripping onto the stone, but he couldn't lift his head until the weight of the man's foot was off of him. He raised his head slightly and gasped for a brief moment, unable to even breathe through his nose for the blood and the pain. He let out a sharp yelp when the man's foot slammed into his head again and sent it crashing back down into the stone again. He cringed a little as his foot continued to grid into the back of his head again and his face scraped against stone as well. He felt his foot lift again, but this time he didn't even bother to raise his head. It hurt too much and he knew that he was only going to get stomped on again. Already he felt like a nut that had just been cracked open with a hammer. He didn't move a muscle, just waited for the pain to come back again, though he was a little surprised to hear a slightly familiar voice. He slowly started to push himself up, leaving a small puddle of blood under his mouth and nose. He could still feel the blood dripping from his face like a leaking faucet, but there really wasn't anything that he could do for it. Once he got himself pushed halfway up he cracked his eyes open again. "...I'm....fine...." he whispered quietly. He wasn't even sure who he was talking to, he never looked. he clearly just wanted t get up and run off, but as soon as he tried to get off of his hands and knees he just fell over again. He was trying his best not to show that he was in pain, but it still hurt to move his midsection and his face was throbbing with pain. Slamming his head into the stone twice and left him very addled, so he felt as if the entire words was swaying beneath him, so it was kind of hard to keep a straight face. He didn't even bother trying to get up again, he just lay there perfectly still, breathing shallowly throw his mouth while he waited for the pain in his head to fade so he could try again. He certainly wasn't about to ask anyone here to help him, and he didn't really expect them to go to the lengths of getting him off of the ground.

Aamori nodded her head weakly after he had said that it was alright and that he wouldn't have offered if he didn't want her to. She finally started to lean on him the rest of the way and get as comfortable as she possibly could while seated in the window. She tried her very best to relax and not worry about falling out of the window. She wasn't exactly afraid of falling or anything like that but that didn't change the fact that she just didn't want to fall. Thankfully the window wasn't even up all that high. She was kind of fighting the idea of being a little afraid of heights, especially given the experience she had when she couldn't get her wings open when she slipped off the edge of that one cliff.

Hisako started to walk over to where Nanashi and Yoichi were once she was finished making sure the guy wasn't going to be able to get out of the cage of water walls that she'd created to hold him. She shook her head lightly after she got a closer look at Nanashi and the shape he was in. "It sure looks like we could've stumbled upon this a little sooner." She paused. "He looks terrible." She said as she shifted her glance over to Yoichi. "He doesn't look like he's going to get very far on his own. Why don't you help him back to the training building for now." She sighed quietly. "We don't really need him bleeding all over the stone... and we need to make sure nothing's broken." She glanced over her shoulder a little back towards the cage the guy was stuck in. "While you do that I'll make sure he gets what he deserves."

Yoichi shook his head lightly after hearing Nanashi's answer. "You don't look fine." He responded and then glanced up to Hisako when she finally made her way over. "He does almost look like roadkill." He commented after she had said Nanashi looked terrible. He continued to look up at her while she went on about him helping Nanashi back to the training building while she took care of the other guy. He nodded his head slightly. "Yeah, yeah... you get the fun job." He muttered as he stood up and stretched a bit. He didn't really mind helping Nanashi to the training building. It'd certainly be an easier job for him than it would be for Hisako. He stared down at Nanashi for a moment and started to extend his arm to him. "C'mon, lets see if we can't at least get you off the ground." He didn't really want to go all out and pick Nanashi up if he didn't have to. It'd be a lot easier to help Nanashi walk there rather than just outright carry him.

Celestine waited for Aamori to get herself situated and then smiled weakly when she did finally lean back against him, though he simply raised his arms and wrapped them around her gently, closing his arms around her waist loosely. He sighed softly and then leaned his head forward against hers and continued to look out at the setting sun, now able to see the sun lowering over the water. "...It really is gorgeous..." he whispered as he stared out at the golden reflections on the waves.

Nanashi groaned softly when Yoichi said that he didn't look fine. He really didn't feel very fine either, but he knew there was absolutely no point to complaining. He was a little surprised to hear Hisako's voice there as well, though it didn't make him feel much better. He still wasn't too sure of Hisako, but he wasn't entirely terrified of her either. He cracked his eyes open again slightly when Yoichi said that he looked almost like road kill. Well, he could honestly say he nearly felt like road kill. He still didn't really bother to move and only looked at Yoichi for a few moments silently, his gaze looking both dazed and not entirely trusting. After he gave himself enough time to think it over he finally started to try to push himself up again on his own, apparently not entirely willing to depend on Yoichi's help to get up. If nothing else, Nanashi was a little bit stubborn and preferred to try to do things for himself, especially after being injured the way that he had. He didn't want to burden anyone, he was just grateful enough that they'd stopped the man from hurting him further. Honestly, too many more blows to the head like that and he might have come out with a shattered skull rather than just a broken nose. He managed to get up to his hands and knees again then doubled over a little, wrapping his arm around his middle. He was still shaking violently, and he really couldn't seem to stop himself. As used to being beaten as he was over the years, it still unnerved him greatly every time that it happened, because every time he honestly half expected someone to keep going until they finally beat him to death. It had gotten very close more than once. He coughed softly and then cringed and tightened his grip on his midsection a little. He knew that there was no way in hell that he could get up past this point on his own, it hurt too much to straighten up and he was shaking so badly that his legs just wanted to fall out from under him. Finally, he reached over to Yoichi and took a hold of his arm gently, not really looking to see if he still had his hand out. He seemed to be too embarrassed to even raise his head, though the fact that he had blood pouring from it really didn't help him much. "...I'm....s-sorry..." he whispered quietly. He really hated to bother anyone with this. He wanted to just tell Hisako to forget it and let the guy go. So long as he wasn't beating on him, he didn't really care. It was over as far as he was concerned, but right now, he couldn't concentrate well enough to bother trying to free the guy.

Hisako watched for a moment while Nanashi tried to get up on his own. She couldn't help but shake her head lightly since he hadn't bothered to use Yoichi's help at least not until after he'd made it to his knees at least. She sighed quietly and started to turn back towards the man that had attacked Nanashi. "I may be a little while, Yoichi." She started. "I'm going to have him incarcerated since he's violated the code of conduct." She shook her head "All people in this town know the guards will do away with those who aren't allowed to be here..." She paused. "Since Nanashi was still walking about after this long you'd think even this dimwit would've gotten the clue that Nanashi was given special privileges..." She sighed heavily and started to walk back towards the cage the guy was in. "This really does make us water dragons look bad..." She muttered quietly mostly to herself.

Yoichi stared down at Nanashi for a moment and waited for him to take his arm so that he could help him up. He shook his head slightly once he started trying to get up on his own. Well at least that made a little less work for him. He glanced over to Hisako when she started to speak up and nodded his head a little. "I suspected as much." He commented quietly after she mentioned incarcerating the guy. He continued to listen to Hisako but turned his eyes back down to Nanashi when he felt him take hold of his arm. "You don't have to apologize Nanashi." He told him. "You didn't do anything wrong... except maybe lay there and let the guy wail on you like that..." He added quietly. He reached over with his other hand and took hold of Nanashi's arm while kneeling down a little so that he could put Nanashi's arm behind his neck and slip his other arm, the one Nanashi had originally grabbed onto, around his waist so that he could pull him up from his knees. Since he only ever really trained his arms and his legs the muscles in them were plenty strong so he didn't think he'd have too much trouble getting Nanashi back onto his feet enough to help him walk a little. The short trek to the training building would go a lot easier if Nanashi could at least move his feet and not be a complete mass of dead weight. "You think you can help with the walking a little?" He asked as he looked over at Nanashi. He intended to start walking as soon as he got an answer out of him, he just hoped Nanashi could help out or else this was going to be a bit more tiring than he wanted it to be.

Nanashi sighed weakly when he said that the only thing he might have done wrong was lay there and let him wail on him. "...It doesn't matter....I'm used to it..." he whispered in that same, almost silent voice. "...Fighting back...just makes it worse..." Normally that only prolonged the fight or got more people to join in to hold him down or help the one who started it beat him up. Even opening his mouth to speak at all seemed a very bad idea as it only caused him to start hitting him again every time he spoke. He gasped softly in pain when he felt Yoichi pulling him up, and just wrapped his other arm more tightly around his middle. He couldn't straighten himself up entirely, he was just stuck slumped over a good bit. He nodded his head weakly when Yoichi asked if he could walk and then slowly stepped forward. He was very trembly, but he could still walk with support. he just kept his head down, trying to hide his mangled face from view behind his hair. He could still feel eyes on him, or at least thought that he could. He wasn't about to glance around to check. He kept his eyes closed and tried to just walk in a straight line, though he was leaving a red drip trail behind him from his slightly smashed nose. He just tried to continue breathing out of his mouth shallowly so that he didn't flex his abdominal muscles very much since he'd taken at least six blows to the same area.

Yoichi was relieved to see Nanashi nod his head to answer the question he'd asked and wasted very little time getting started on the walk to the training building. "...You know ...fighting back might not be your thing, but you could at least work at being skilled enough to defend yourself without having to hurt the person attacking you." He commented quietly. "At least with a good enough defense you don't get knocked around quite as badly and it can make it easier for you to get away from the person attacking you." He paused. "I mean... it's gotta be pretty difficult to get yourself out of harms way when you can't even get off the ground." He glanced over to Nanashi briefly. He really didn't look very good at all and honestly, he didn't think that guy had been beating him up for too long. Surely the guy would've gotten bored and walked away if there had been any real length to that beating. He sighed quietly as they neared the training building and started for the doors. "...Now that I'm thinking about it..." He started. "...Why in the world were you wandering around by yourself?" He paused. "Even though the passes give you the right to walk around as you please I'd have thought you'd had more sense to have someone with you... not that... things like this happen all the time." He added quietly. This really was one of the first times in a long while that someone had gotten into trouble for beating on someone from another clan who was allowed to be in the town. When they finally reached the door he let go of the arm he had still been holding around his neck so that he could open up the door long enough to get them both inside. After they'd cleared the door he started over to the grassy area in the center of the courtyard and started to kneel down again so that Nanashi could sit down if he wanted. "...I do have to apologize now that I'm here." He shook his head lightly. "Vara and the main doctor have had the past couple days off since Aamori hasn't been around..." He sighed quietly. "Unfortunately that means we don't have anyone skilled to look you over at the moment..."

Nanashi sighed softly as he listened to Yoichi talk about defending himself without hurting his attacker. "...It doesn't matter..." he whispered quietly, "...If they...want to hurt me....they will... I'm not as strong...as a dragon....and...the more you resist...the more that come.... It's like...a pack of wolves..." he said quietly. He turned his eyes over to Yoichi when she asked why he came out alone. "...I was...looking f-for LaRae..." he responded quietly, "...She...left....this morning... She said she was...coming to get my coat....she never came back... I was worried... And...I'm sure...the others have....better...things to do than...f-follow me...around...to make sure...no one bothers me...." He coughed again quietly and cringed while he Yoichi was trying to open the doors. He followed him inside and out into the courtyard before he started to sit down as Yoichi helped him. He was trying to stay quiet but he couldn't help a tiny whimper from the pain in his stomach. he tried to keep his head leaned forward and finally raised his hand and put it under his nose. The blood flow seemed to have slowed down from his nose a little, and it was clotting to the point that it was near impossible to breathe through his nose. He gasped again when he accidentally touched his nose and felt a pain so sharp that it made his eyes water. He closed his eyes when Yoichi apologized and then shook his head weakly. "...I'm alright..." he whispered again quietly, "...I can...take care of myself..." He normally did at least. part of the reason that his old coat had been so shredded was because he had to tear off so many pieces of it. He finally pulled up the edge of his torn off shirt and held it to his nose, trying to stop the bleeding a little. He whined softly, but then held as still as he could. It was still pretty obvious if one took time to look him over to see that he'd already been banged up and that it wouldn't have taken much for that guy to have gotten him down int he first place. He still had the ugly purple line under his left eye across from the scrape that was now under his right one, and there were also the several ones along his arms and on his sides, and probably some new ones to form in his abdominal area now. The entire lower half of his face was turning red with drying blood it was hard to even tell what color his face was supposed to be between the blood, scrapes, and bruising. His nose was already swelling and changing colors a little as well.

Yoichi stood up and stretched a little after Nanashi was safely on the ground. He sighed quietly. "Ya' know... you have a really poor outlook on things..." He paused. "You don't necessarily have to be as strong as a dragon to defend yourself or dodge long enough to get away." He shrugged lightly. It was just a comment he'd made after seeing the damage of what had happened to him. He didn't particularly like Nanashi but he didn't really hate him either. He did however think that every person should have some knowledge of how to defend themselves especially since some people still got picked on even if they weren't halfbreeds like Nanashi. He felt a little worse for Nanashi after hearing that he was only out by himself because he was looking for LaRae and he didn't want to ask anyone else to follow him around. He couldn't help but glance around a little after recalling the part about the coat. He'd been around the training building for most of the day and hadn't remembered seeing LaRae. He quirked a brow slightly and looked back down at Nanashi. "Are you sure that she was coming for your coat?" He paused. "I assume it's still here.... but I haven't even seen LaRae today." He may not have seen her today but perhaps Hisako had. They didn't always leave the lower level of this building together so maybe she'd slipped in sometime when Hisako was out wandering around. He stared back down at Nanashi for a few moments before shaking his head again. "If you could take care of yourself I doubt you'd be in the shape you are in now." He commented quietly before crouching down again so he could get a better look at him. It'd been kind of hard to while they were walking because Nanashi had been doing a fine job of keeping his face from view. He finally gave up and reached over to place his hand on Nanashi's forehead so that he could push his head back. "I know you said you could take care of yourself but you're supposed to lean your head back when you're bleeding from the nose..." He said quietly before moving his hand and seeing that his nose was swelling and changing colors. He sighed quietly. He'd made a brief note that Nanashi had whined when he touched his nose. "...Ya' know ...I think that guy may have broken your nose..." He said quietly. That was merely speculation but based on the swelling, change in color, the amount of blood, and the fact that the area was sensitive to touch he couldn't exactly think of anything else.

Nanashi just closed his eyes again when Yoichi said that he had a poor outlook on things. Honestly, what kind of outlook did he expect him to have? It wasn't just the water clan, it was nearly every dragon in every clan that usually did or wanted to to something like this to him, so what was there to make him to have a good outlook. "...I can get away...when I'm capable of running..." he said quietly. Today he could barely even walk straight, let alone run away to fee an attacker. He sighed again when he asked if he was sure that she'd come for his coat. "...That was...what she said..." he said quietly, "...And she also said...she'd be right back..." His ears laid back when he said that he hadn't seen LaRae today. He wasn't paying too much attention to what Yoichi was doing and when he touched his forehead, he flinched and jerked back involuntarily before he cracked his eyes open again to look at him. He tilted his head back since that was what he realized that he was trying to do, but he had to drop the part of his shirt that he was holding to his nose. He closed his eyes again when Yoichi said that the guy may have broken his nose and just sat there silently for a moment. "...Yeah...I know..." he said dully, "I felt it..." This wasn't the first time his nose had been broken. Last time he'd just straightened it out later and let it go. He was surprised that his nose was even still straight after the first time. He'd just have to try to muster up the ability to fix it again this time once his head stopped throbbing so badly. He couldn't even keep his eyes open right now. It hurt to try to focus on anything.

Yoichi was a little concerned to have heard that LaRae was supposed to have come here for the coat and gone right back. He hadn't seen her and he kind of hoped that Hisako had or else he and Hisako would probably be looking for her later if she hadn't popped up on her own. He was a little bit surprised when Nanashi had flinched and jerked away from him. After he thought about it for a moment it did kind of make sense that the guy would flinch like that but at the same time he didn't mean Nanashi any harm and he thought was a little obvious. He shrugged lightly and stared over at Nanashi. "You've had your nose broken before, I assume." He guessed that was the only way he'd have known what it felt like when the nose was broken. "...You're going to need to pop your nose back into place." He was pretty sure that was obvious. "We need to clean you up a bit too... you've lost a nice amount of blood thanks to that." He said quietly before he started to stand up. "I'll be right back." He told him before he started over to one of the arches and straight over to the door to medical. Vara might not have been here but the room was still unlocked so he could slip in and at least get something to help Nanashi clean up a little. He was only in the room long enough to grab some peroxide and a clean cloth. If Nanashi's nose needed to be packed or anything he could always come back. He returned to where Nanashi was sitting and crouched down again with the stuff he'd gotten in hand. "I guess once your nose is done bleeding you can clean yourself up." He said as he looked over at him, focusing mostly on his nose. Since Nanashi had said he could take care of himself he wasn't going to bother trying to clean the guy up.

Nanashi just tried to keep his head held back though it was a little hard sitting that way. He was already starting to feel like headed though he didn't know if it was from pain or losing blood again or a combination of the two. He almost nodded when Yoichi commented about his nose and then stopped himself. "...Yes," he responded quietly. My nose, my arm, my hand, my fingers, my ankle, my ribs... probably a few other things that I didn't even realize... His bones took nearly as much of a beating as his skin seemed to. He was missing a rid, his right arm had been broken before above the elbow and was even now very slightly out of place, thought he bone had healed and it wasn't very noticeable from looking at him unless you were looking really hard, one of his fingers had a knot in it from where it had been broken and his hand had been stomped once hard enough to break a couple of bones. The break on his left arm that Hikari had fixed for him was the only one that had ever received any attention from anyone other than himself. With all of the others he just found whatever he could to hold it in place and tried his best not to let anyone near him for a while until it had healed. After all, he knew he couldn't very well go up and ask anyone to heal him. If anything they'd probably make it worse for asking. He already knew that he was going to have to reset his nose, and he would much rather do it himself than have anyone else touch him. He cracked his eyes open again when he heard Yoichi starting to walk away and then finally lowered his head again while he was gone. He knew this was going to hurt like hellfire, but he figured he'd better hurry up and do it before Yoichi decided to. It was probably going to cause his nose to bleed even more, but he figured it would probably make it bleed again later if he waited, so may as well get it over with. He placed his the sides of his thumbs to either side of his nose and pressed together quickly while pulling out and slightly down. He gritted his teeth as he felt the cartilage grinding as it moved and the pain was enough to make his eyes water. thankfully, the process didn't take him too long, and he didn't even really care if it was perfectly straight so he wasn't about to mess with it any further. Just as he suspected when he moved his hands, blood gushed from his nose again and he tilted his head back while closing his eyes once more. He glanced over to Yoichi and then closed his eyes again slowly since they were still very watery. "Thanks..." he responded quietly as he reached over and set the items in his lap. He was probably going to need that to clean out the scrapes on his arm and face as well as get the blood off of him. It really was hard to tell how much he heard just from looking at him. He had mastered keeping a straight face and not showing much pain when he was conscious enough to care, though he still couldn't hide it from his eyes. So long as they remained closed it looked like he was just sitting there patiently waiting for the bleeding to stop without a care in the world.

Yoichi continued to stay crouched where he was for a few moments while keeping an eye on Nanashi. "Did you already pop your nose back into place?" He asked half curiously. He hadn't really focused too much on the placement of Nanashi's nose and because it was swollen like it was, it was nearly impossible for him to really tell for sure if he'd already moved it back into place or not. He merely assumed that maybe he had put it back into place since he looked like he was bleeding more now than he was when he left to get the items from the medical room. He sighed softly and finally just sat down where he was sitting and crossed his legs so that his heels were resting on the opposite knees. "You going to be alright?" He asked quietly. Nanashi didn't look all that great and he really couldn't help asking again. He half wished that there was more that he could do then just keep an eye on him.
