Kanone was still standing int he kitchen just looking through the cabinets. He wanted something that he didn't have to cook to eat but frankly he wasn't finding much...or at least nothing that looked eatable. He wouldn't go near half of the fruits since most of them looked more like they would eat him if he picked them up. He sighed heavily, honestly on the verge of surrender until he heard the door open. He backed out of the kitchen and glanced down the hall to to the front doors and sighed when he saw Aamori coming inside. Well he knew that she couldn't really cook much either but he thought she might have a little better luck than he was. "Aamori....is where anything eatable in this kitchen?" he asked in an almost whining tone. He was on the verge of wanting to just eat whatever the hell he got his hands on raw. It wasn't like it would poison him or anything, it just didn't taste as good.

Aamori looked towards the kitchen when she heard her name and spotted Kanone. She sighed quietly seeing as the first thing out of his mouth was wanting to know if there was anything eatable in the kitchen. "...Good morning to you, too, Kanone." She said as she started towards the kitchen. She glanced towards the door to the room Nanashi had been in when she left last night. Seeing as it was closed she assumed that he may still be asleep. Once she reached the kitchen she looked to Kanone again. "Of course there are eatable things in the kitchen... you just have to cook first." She responded. "Unless you'd rather eat fruit, then you just have to peel it... or cut it up... depending on what you want to eat." She stepped a little further into the kitchen so that she could look at toward the other door, the one that LaRae had been put in last night. Again the door was still shut so she assumed that she was still asleep as well. Now that she was thinking about it, it may have been a little early to be looking for an update on the two of them. It was more or less just wishful thinking that she'd be able to hear something this early. She sighed quietly and looked back towards Kanone for a moment. "...Has anyone else been up yet or has it just been you?" She asked lastly.

Kanone waved when she said good morning and then sighed when she said that he had to cook the food first. "Oh give me a break, I can't cook much better than Marius..." he grumbled before his stomach launched a rather grumpy sounding protest of it's own. He looked back to the fruit again when she said that all he had to do was peel the fruit or cut it up and then raised an eyebrow. "What in the hell is that anyway?" he asked as he pointed to the most angry looking fruit in the bowl. Those large spiny thinks with the pointed leaves on top didn't even look safe to touch to him, let alone eat. He glanced back to Aamori again when she asked about the others and then shook his head. "No, I'm the only one up...otherwise I'd be begging someone else to cook..." He sighed and then just gave up and got himself down a glass to fill with water since the prospect of decent food wasn't looking too good right now.

Aamori shook her head lightly after hearing Kanone's comment about cooking. "You do know you're whining to the wrong person... I can't cook either." She said as she started to move back towards the center of the kitchen for a moment. She looked over at the fruit he had pointed to when he asked what it was. She couldn't help but chuckle quietly. "A Pineapple." She answered. She sighed quietly after she heard that he was the only one up. She had thought that may be the case though she had wished it wasn't. "Oh... alright.. I'll have to check back later then.." She mumbled. She really had hoped for some sort of update, even something as small as weather or not LaRae's arm had been healed successfully or maybe that she had started talking again or something. She watched him for a moment once he started to get down a glass to fill with water. She assumed he was giving up on getting something to eat since no one awake right now could cook. She shook her head lightly and started over to the counter so that she could retrieve a knife and a plate before snagging the pineapple. She didn't slice up pineapples very often but she had seen Annan and Kanu do it a couple of times. She set the plate aside mostly so that she had somewhere to place the slices once she had cut them. She started by turning the pineapple on it's side and cutting the top off with the green pointy leaves then moving down to cut the bottom off as well. She tossed the two removed pieces into the sink before returning to the pineapple. She sat it up and then took the knife and carefully started to slice down the side of the pineapple to remove the spiky skin. It was a little time consuming but at least there would be fruit to eat once all of the skin was removed. After a few minutes she had managed to get all of the skin off, though it wasn't done perfectly. Obviously she hadn't done this too often. After the skin was off and in the sink she turned the pineapple on it's side again and then started to cut it into slices and then dropped them onto the plate. She continued until the whole pineapple had been sliced up and then snagged one of the pieces she'd cut before dropping the knife in the sink as well. "There. Eat some pineapple." She said as she started to walk over to the table to sit down with the slice that she had taken.

Kanone stared at the pineapple when she told him what it was called. "Well yeah, but I mean, how the hell do you eat that? It looks...angry." He laughed raised an eyebrow when he heard Aamori mention checking back later and then tilted his head a little. "Check back for what?" he asked simply. He really hadn't been paying much attention to anything yesterday, so he was a little lost as far as everything was concerned. He blinked when she started to slice up the pineapple and then watched her take a slice and head to the table. He looked at the fruit and then reached over and picked up a slice before sniffing it and taking a small bite. He blinked when the tangy juice flooded his mouth and then stared at the slice. "Holy hell, this thing is....um...it's...it kicks." He took another unsure bite of it and chewed it slowly before snagging the plate and heading over to the table to sit with her. He had never really tasted anything like this before, and it was kind of odd tasting, but he kinda liked it. He set the plate down and then took a seat next to Aamori. "So, did I miss something or what?"

Aamori couldn't help but laugh quietly at Kanone's response to the pineapple. She'd eaten it so much that the taste didn't even phase her anymore. She started to eat the slice that she'd taken and kept an eye on Kanone briefly while he took another bite. She assumed since he'd grabbed the plate and started over to the table that he didn't hate the taste. She had been hungry so it didn't take her long to finish off the slice that she had in her hand. She continued to sit at the table for a moment until she heard the question that Kanone had asked. "...You didn't know about what happened yesterday?" She asked, though hadn't expected him to answer. Since he had asked about her checking back later she had kind of gotten the clue that maybe he hadn't known what happened and hearing him ask if he had missed anything only clarified what she suspected. She started to stand up from the table and head back towards the counter. "You kind of missed a lot..." She started as she approached the counter and started to pull a glass down from the cupboard and fill it with water. She grabbed a couple napkins too before she returned to her seat at the table. She passed one of the napkins over to Kanone before she used the other to wipe some of the juice from the pineapple off her hand. "I guess... in short... LaRae wound up in prison yesterday because she left the house to go get Nanashi his coat and she didn't have her pass on her. When she didn't come back Nanashi left the house to look for her and wound up getting beaten up by someone..." She told him quietly. "Neither of them looked very good last night when I left... and LaRae wasn't talking at all... so I kind of wanted an update or something... but it doesn't look like I'm getting one just yet." She added and then sighed quietly.

Kanone raised an eyebrow when Aamori got up and said that he had missed a lot. He tilted his head slightly as he picked up another slice of pineapple and then watched as she came back. "Like what?" he asked as he took the napkin from her and then laid it on the table since he was still eating right now. "Thanks." He blinked when she told him what had happened to LaRae and Nanashi. "Da-amn...." He stared at her for a long moment and then shook his head weakly. "Geez, he could have asked me to go if he was going to go looking for her. I didn't even know he'd left. I mean he came in asking about LaRae, but I assumed he'd just gone back outside to wait for her and she'd come back sometime." He sighed and pushed his clean hand back through his hair briefly before he shook his head. "Wow. Those two sure know how to get into trouble huh?"

Aamori set her napkin down on the table in exchange for her glass of water and then glanced over to Kanone briefly after he started speaking. She sighed quietly after hearing that Kanone didn't even know that Nanashi had left and that he had come in asking about LaRae. She shook her head lightly since if Kanone had been a little more in the know he probably could've gotten up and gone with Nanashi when he left. Knowing what she knew now there were small signs that he may leave the house, especially if he came inside to ask about LaRae. Oh well. "...Nanashi doesn't really ever ask anyone for anything. There are plenty of us here who would've gone with him to look for her, if he had asked..." She paused. "The only problem is getting Nanashi to ask..." She sighed quietly and nodded her head weakly after the last thing he had said. "...It could have all been avoided too." She paused and shook her head slightly. "Now we've got Nanashi who is hurting all over again and LaRae who's traumatized thanks to her little stint in the prison here..." She muttered quietly. She was still a bit upset to some degree that LaRae had even wound up in prison. She knew why it happened but she still felt like there should've been something that could've been done to stop it from happening or at least she could've been informed or something before LaRae was even taken into that awful place. She'd never seen the inside before so of course when she thought of it as an awful place she could only base that off of the way LaRae was acting after having been in there.

Kanone sighed softly and shook his head a little after Aamori said that Nanashi never asked anyone for anything. "That poor guy's got issues..." he said quietly before he took another bite out of the pineapple and then finally cleaned off his hand long enough to pick up his water. He took a sip and then set it back down on the table again before he glanced back to Aamori again. He sighed again after she said that they had Nanashi hurting all over again and LaRae traumatized. He just shook his head a little and then leaned his head over to rest against his hand lightly. "I bet those two are loving that..." he said quietly. It wasn't hard to see hot close those two were and both of them seemed to worry to no end about the other. "Well...hopefully they'll be alright soon..." he said quietly. He had caught wind of what happened to Nanashi in his territory and he was pretty sure that Celestine made LaRae feel nice and unwelcome there before. Then not to mention what he'd been told about what happened to Nanashi at the training building. "I think those two go through more crap..." he said simply before he sighed again and just grabbed another slice of pineapple.

Aamori nodded her head a little after Kanone had said that hopefully they'd be alright soon. "I hope so." She added quietly. She was a but ashamed of her territory at the moment, or at least some of the people in it. Others usually came to Kairava to relax, granted the other clans had to have permission to enter the islands but still, when others came it was to just lay back and enjoy how pretty it was here with the water all around and yet... both LaRae and Nanashi were having a less than memorable experience. She had kind of hoped that the first time LaRae got to come visit it would be a lot nicer than this. Granted, the experience wouldn't have been that great any way considering the hunt for the relic but the stay on the islands should've at least been better than it was. She sighed heavily before she picked up her glass and took a sip. "...Neither of them have had easy lives ...it's kind of sad to see that things don't appear to be looking up for either of them yet." She said quietly. She honestly doubted that thing would ever really, truly improve for Nanashi and LaRae, well, she had it a little difficult but things were better for her than they were for Nanashi. She just wished they could go a nice lengthy amount of time without anything bad happening to either of the two of them. She sighed again, more quietly this time before glancing back over to Kanone. "...Is the pineapple going to tide you over or do I need to go find you your own personal cook?" She asked half jokingly.

Kanone sighed again when she said that neither of them had easy lives. "Yeah...well I doubt his will ever really look up too much. I dunno about LaRae...maybe when she's older, I guess. But...considering their...relationship...I doubt anything will ever go the way they would like it to. Especially since her clan gets along with his about as well as yours does." If those two wanted to be together he honestly didn't know how it would ever happen, and knowing the earth clan he somehow doubted that Nanashi would survive attempting it. He glanced down to the remainder of the pineapple when she asked if she was going to need to find him his own personal cook. "Well, I wouldn't mind a personal cook, but I think I can make due with this," he said with a weak laugh. He didn't really want to haul someone all the way out here to cook for him, so he thought he could manage to wait until something better came along here.

Aamori unfortunately had to agree with Kanone after he had said that considering LaRae and Nanashi's relationship he doubted anything would ever go the way they'd like it to. She'd never really had anything to do with Nanashi's clan but she did at least have some knowledge of LaRae's and her clan alone was going to be enough to deal with. She continued to sit there for a few moments while she finished off the glass of water she had fixed for herself and then looked back to Kanone after he said he could make due with what he had. She was at least glad the pineapple was going to suffice. She didn't really want to leave the island and find someone who could come back here to cook for him, though she would have if he had wanted something better to eat. After a few moments she finally started to stand up again. She made sure to pick up her glass and the napkin she had used in the process and headed towards the skin to set her glass inside as well as throw away her napkin. She glanced back over at Kanone briefly before she started to walk over towards the small length of hall that head to the front doors. "...I think I'm going back to the other house since no one else is awake yet, do you need anything else before I leave?"

Kanone watched as Aamori gathered up her things and headed back tot he kitchen area. He just plucked up another piece of pineapple to nibble on and then watched her as she started to edge toward the hallway again. "Aww leaving already?" he asked a little sarcastically, "Nah, I think I'll live. I'll let you know if anyone else over here ever decides to roll out of bed...assuming I don't pass out from boredom." It wasn't like there was a whole lot to do in these little beach houses while staying indoors except for talk or sleep, and considering that everyone else was sleeping, talking would be out once Aamori left. He didn't really mind, he would probably just end up asleep again. He waved her off and then went back to nibbling on the pineapple, trying to finish it up. He guessed once he finished that he could just go sit back in one of the chaise chairs and relax. At least there he could easily see if anyone came out of their rooms and it was a lot more comfortable than sitting at the table.

Aamori shook her head lightly. "Of course I'm leaving already... at least the people in the other house are more likely to wake up soon." She told him. She nodded her head a little after he had declined needing anything else and then nodded once more after he said he'd let her know if anyone woke up. "Thanks." She responded with a slight smile before she started towards the doors. She paused once she reached them and turned back slightly so that she could look at him. "Oh, if when lunch rolls around and you're hungry... and no one who can cook if awake... you can walk back to the training building." She paused briefly. "I'm sure Annan or Kanu wouldn't mind making something for you to eat." She shook her head lightly with a small chuckle. "But I guess you'd have to be hungry enough to walk all the way there, first." After she finished telling him about where he could get lunch she opened the door and stepped out onto the porch. She stepped away from the door after she had closed it behind her and started down the steps so that she could start walking back towards the other house. She really did kind of hope someone was awake over there, preferably anyone but Nero. Otherwise she'd left her only means of entertainment until someone else woke up.

Kanone nodded slightly when Aamori said that he could go back to the training building to get something to eat if no one was up here yet. "Heh, alright...I may have to go for a walk just for something to do," he said simply. He watched her go and then sighed and rather quickly finished off the rest of the pineapple now that he wasn't talking anymore. He then cleaned off his hand again and finished up the rest of his drink before taking the glass to the sink and tossing the napkin. He rinded off his hand and then dried it off on his pants leg before he wandered back to one of the chaise chairs and sat down. He leaned back and crossed his arms behind his head with a soft sigh. Well, it seemed like the next few days weren't going to be very eventful.

Celestine had woken up again, but he still hadn't bothered to get out of the bed since Esen was still using him as a pillow. He had just turned over onto his side and was staring out the window while still curled up tightly under the covers. He wasn't entirely sure what time it was, only because he couldn't really see where the sun was from in here, but he didn't really care. It was quiet int he house so he assumed that everyone else was still asleep anyway. He was wondering how Nanashi and LaRae were doing but he had a feeling it was still too early to go over there bothering them.

Aamori continued across the beach until she reached the other house. She paused briefly at the steps for a moment, mostly trying to decide whether or not she wanted to go inside or sit outside for a little while. It was really nice out so she was tempted to sit out here for awhile. She finally started up the steps and glanced over towards the right for a moment at the porch swing. She eyed it momentarily before she looked over to the left towards the window that opened up to Celestine's room. She did want to see if maybe he was awake. She crept over to the window as quietly as she possibly could and peeked no more really than her eyes inside to check and see if he was awake.

Celestine had just closed his eyes again when he heard movement on the porch and cracked them open again. He looked back to the window again and then half smiled when he saw Aamori peeking in at him. He raised his head a little and then glanced to Esen before gently stroking the top of her head. He smiled slightly when she raised up to look at him and then laid her head down on her paws rather than his side. He sat himself up and ran his hand along her back before he glanced over to the window again and tilted his head a little. "...Staying outside again?" he asked quietly. "I thought you would still be sleeping..." Of course by now everyone probably would have already expected him to be up and sitting in the window again as usual.

Aamori smiled a bit, a little embarrassed that Celestine had been awake and had caught her peeking in. Since he had seen her she didn't bother trying to stay out of view. She stepped in front of the window, though still off to the side a little so she wasn't front-n-center and obstructing the view out the window. She leaned down a little bit so that she could rest her forearms against the window sill as she looked into the room. "I'm not staying out here forever." She paused. "It's just nice out... that's all." She answered. The temperature was pretty warm, thankfully not too hot and the breeze wasn't really chilled so it was really nice. "...I probably would still be asleep..." She paused and thought better of finishing that statement the way she was going to. 'If I hadn't fallen off the chair and wound up sleeping on the floor'. "...I was kind of eager to see if there was an update on LaRae or Nanashi yet." She added instead. "Unfortunately the only person awake over there is Kanone."

Celestine sighed softly when Aamori said that it was nice out, "Yeah yeah...don't rub it in..." he said simply. He still didn't know if he was allowed to be outside yet. He reached back to rub Esen's fur again before he finally flipped the covers away from his legs and slipped off the edge of the bed. He tucked the blanket back down and then moved over to the window and perched on the edge once she'd said that she had been looking for an update. "Oh...I doubt you got anything from that," he said simply. "I would be surprised if he was even paying enough attention yesterday to know what was going on." He stretched his legs out a little and leaned back a bit on the sill so that his upper body was half hanging out the window with only his hand on the edge of the sill to keep him from continuing to fall backwards. He inhaled deeply as he hung there and then sighed softly and sat up again before he glanced over to her and tilted his head a little. It's still pretty early...I wouldn't expect anyone over there to be up yet...but I'd guess of everyone I would have expected to see Kanone the earliest." All he seemed to do over there was sleep so it wasn't too hard to believe he would get up relatively early.

Aamori hadn't been trying to or meant to rub it in about it being nice out. She'd just been stating the obvious. She watched him for a moment once he had gotten out of the bed and come over to the window. She straightened up a little after he got onto the window sill. She sighed heavily after hearing what he said about being surprised if Kanone had been paying enough attention yesterday. "...Unfortunately ...he was completely in the dark up until just a few minutes ago about everything that happened yesterday." She said while clearly sounding a little embarrassed for Kanone. She sighed again quietly after he had mentioned that it was still early and he wouldn't expect anyone over there to be up yet. "...I know..." She paused. "I just wanted to make sure... and the only person even up, like I said was Kanone and he was already whining about being hungry." She shook her head a little. "He said that the pineapples look angry..." She said with a slightly amused chuckle.

Celestine shook his head weakly when she said that Kanone hadn't known anything until a few minutes ago. "...That doesn't surprise me...but I'm sure he's not the only one..." he said quietly, "Marius hasn't been told either and I doubt Nero knows either... But then again they weren't in the same house so they have a better excuse..." He snorted slightly when she said that Kanone was already whining for food. "Of course he was...that's what he does as soon as he gets up..." He glanced back to her again and smiled slightly when she said that he thought pineapples were angry. "...Well considering the fruits that grow in Caledonia...pineapples do look pretty angry. With all of those spines, I wouldn't want to touch one to see if it was eatable. It looks like it should be poisonous or something."

Aamori glanced over at Celestine and sighed quietly. "I don't really see how Kanone was able to miss everything that went on yesterday. I mean... the walls here at the beach houses are no where near as thick as the ones in the training building so when you think about it he should've heard something from last night." She shook her head lightly. "He did say that Nanashi came and asked him about LaRae earlier in the day, but he hadn't thought anything of it." She couldn't help but roll her eyes slightly after hearing him say that was what Kanone did as soon as he gets up. "I don't think he will ever be able to live by himself. I think he'd starve." She said quietly. "I can't really cook but at least I know how to cut up some fruit..." She paused. "At any rate, he isn't going to starve just yet. I sliced up the angry pineapple for him and told him that he could go back to the training building for lunch if he was hungry and no one else was awake to cook for him." She glanced to Celestine again. "I think you would've gotten a kick out of the faces he made when he tried the pineapple." She commented. "I guess if you'd never seen a pineapple before you might think it to be poisonous..." She shrugged lightly. "I grew up with them so they're just another fruit to me regardless of the way they look. Though... I think a lot of dragons shy away from them just because of their look. It's kind of the same with the coconuts. No one seems to know what to do with those..." She said as she shook her head a little.

Celestine shook his head a little after Aamori said that the walls weren't as thick as the ones int he training building. "His head is that thick..." he said simply, "Nine times out of ten if he doesn't see what is going on he doesn't notice unless someone says something...that's just the way that he is." He pulled himself back upright again and then sighed and looked back to her as she went on about him not being able to live by himself. "He can cook...he's just too lazy to do it... He's used to Sonia making breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. If he can talk someone else into doing it, he will. I've seen him cook when she wasn't around...it usually wasn't too good, but...he can feed himself..." He half smiled when she said that he may have gotten a kick out of the faces that he made. "...I doubt they were much different from the ones that I made..." he said softly. He glanced at her again when she said that everyone tended to shy away from the pineapples and the coconuts. "...I don't think I've even seen a coconut..." he said simply. Of course he wouldn't know what to do with one either if he got a hold of one.

Aamori glanced away from Celestine momentarily after he had said that Kanone had been used to his mother making all of his meals for him. She was the same way. She'd gotten used to Annan and Kanu making all of her meals for her so she didn't really know how to cook. She could cook for herself but there was no guarantee that it would even be eatable unless she was grilling fish. That was about the only thing she bothered to pay attention to when Annan offered to teach her. It was one of her favorite things to eat so of course she wanted to be able to make it herself should no one else be around to do it for her. She guessed now that she was thinking about it that it wouldn't have hurt to have paid a little more attention when Annan wanted to show her other meals. She sighed quietly and then looked back to him once he had commented on the faces that Kanone made. She chuckled quietly after recalling the faces that Celestine had made. "I guess they were pretty similar." She admitted. "You don't think you've seen a coconut? They're kind of hard to miss...." She paused and shook her head a little. "They're brown, almost hairy looking on the outside and round. Maybe about... this... big.." She said as she held her hands out to show him roughly the size. "...and lastly, they can be found at the tops of the palm trees. That's where they grow." She told him with a slight nod of her head now that she was sure she was done describing them.

Celestine didn't have much more to say on the subject of cooking. He didn't really eat anything that ever required being cooked anyway, so he didn't really care to learn. He knew that he could cook the fruits and vegetables that he ate but not only did that take up more time it also drained some of the nutrients from them and with as little as he ate he needed all that he could get. He half smiled when she said that the faces were similar and then shook his head a little. "Well, that's hardly surprising... Neither of us were used to the taste." He tilted his head when she started describing the coconuts and then blinked. "Oh...those things. I didn't know what they were called...they don't look eatable, either." He knew there was liquid inside them but the nuts were hard, held been playing with one before, but he didn't see that there would really be anything good inside them. Then again it was a nut, he did suspect that it held some kind of meat like other nuts.
