Hikari smiled weakly at LaRae and shook her head a litlte before she reached over to place a hand on her head gently. "...It's alright," she said softly. She blinked when she heard Kanone and glanced back that way again before she just laughed and shook her head. "My goodness, Kanone, are you arguing with that dog?" she asked lightly. She just smiled and shook her head before she looked back to LaRae again, catching her trying to hide a yawn and then smiled. "...You should go back to bed if you're tired. You can use my room if you like," she offered, "or the one you were using before..." she said as she nodded down the hall to the one she and Nanashi had shared before she took over Aamori's room.

Kanone stared at Zale when he said that he smelled good and then made a face. "What planet are you from again?" he asked dryly before he dropped his shirt again and sighed. He looked back to Hikari when she asked if he was arguing with a dog and then shrugged. "Wouldn't you?" he asked simply. He turned his faze back to Zale again and then glanced at Aamori before he finally got around to scrubbing the back of his hand across his cheek. "Uhg..." He wiped his hand on his pants and then looked back to Zale again. He just stared at him and then leaned over, coming almost nose-to-nose with him. "I do not want to smell like something you would eat," he growled at him quietly before he finally cracked a smile, "crazy mutt..." He shook his head and then reached over to him and tried his best to mess up the fur on top of his head. "Don't jump on me like that, you lug, you wanna break the rest of my ribs?" he asked playfully. He wasn't really mad at Zale, he just wasn't too thrilled about smelling like a fish, but...well he'd wash.

LaRae continued to sit where she was, keeping her head resting against her arms. She glanced a little in Hikari's direction and nodded her head weakly. She knew she should go back to bed if she was tired, she just wasn't ready to get up. "...Thank you." She responded to the offer of using the room that Hikari been in. She figured if she was going to go lay down she may as well go use the room that she had been using before with Nanashi. She didn't need to play musical beds with all of the beds in the house. "...I am tired, I just don't feel like walking right this minute..." She said quietly. "...Maybe in a few minutes..." She added lastly.

Zale started wagging his tail almost uncontrollably once Kanone had gotten close to his face. He just continued to wag his tail while he was being told by Kanone that he didn't want to smell like something he'd eat. Of course he didn't see what the big deal was, it was just a fish tail. As soon as he'd been called a crazy mutt and Kanone had smiled he wasted very little time slithering his forked tongue out so that he could quickly lick his face. He stood up after Kanone had finished trying to mess up his fur, which no doubt was near impossible since his fur so closely resembled that of a seal. He stared over at him after he'd told him not to jump on him like that and continued wagging his tail. '...I can't make any promises.' He told him. Honestly, when he was excited he couldn't say he wouldn't jump on Kanone like that again. If he was conscious of what he was doing he could probably keep himself from doing that again but like he'd said, he couldn't make any promises.

Hikari smiled weakly to LaRae when she said that she didn't want to get up and then nodded her head weakly. "Alright...there's no hurry," she said softly. She reached over again and gently patted her arm before she looked back to Kanone after he had asked if she wouldn't be arguing with the dog. She shook her head a little and laughed softly, "You're a nut..."

Kanone just shook his head slightly and cracked a smile when Zale licked his face again. "Ewww, slobber hound," he said playfully as he patted his head again. He sighed softly and then shook his head when Zale said that he couldn't promise anything when it came to jumping on him. "Yeah.... just don't break anything...crazy mutt." He shook his head a little and then looked back up to Aamori and laughed softly. "And yes, I'm talking to a dog, don't mind me." He knew the canines didn't want anyone to know that they could talk and he didn't know if Aamori knew yet or not, so he'd rather seem like a complete loon than give away that he was literally holding a conversation with Zale. He shook his head a little and then closed his eyes for a moment before he looked up to Aamori. "So...nice outfit," he finally commented as he tilted his head a little. "Been putting....Sanura to work again?" he asked with a slight pause as he tried to remember how to say the woman's name.

LaRae tried to nod her head a little from the position she was in without lifting her head, after Hikari had said that there was no hurry. She continued to lay there with her head resting against her arms, while trying to keep pressure off both her wrists and her ankles. She knew she'd be more comfortable in a bed and there she wouldn't have to worry about the pressure being put anywhere but she just couldn't bring herself to get up and walk anywhere at the moment. She sighed quietly and shut her eyes, hoping to block out the noise, at least a little. If anything the noise would probably help to ensure that she didn't fall asleep right here at the table.

Zale nodded his head slightly after hearing Kanone say not to break anything. He would at least try not to. He continued to stand where he was and wag his tail a bit before he finally started to turn and slink past Aamori as he headed back towards the front doors. Now that he'd had something to eat he was ready to go back outside where it was nicer and less congested. He liked people, lots of people, but there was only so much fun to be had in a house where it seem half the people inside were hurting and or trying to sleep. Besides, there was a lot more room to run around outside... not to mention a small kitty he could play with.

Aamori just kind of stared over at Kanone momentarily after he had admitted that he was talking to a dog and not to mind him. Before she probably would've thought him a bit loonier than he already was but she knew now that the dogs could talk and he was very much speaking the truth. She smiled very slightly. "...Then don't let me interrupt." She responded quietly. She startled very slightly once he had finally spoken again and this time commented on her clothing. She had kind of forgotten, just a little, that she was in different clothes. Mostly because no one other than Celestine really had said anything to her that she knew of, at least until now. She smiled slightly. "...Thanks." She started. "...and no, Hisako did." She answered. "Hisako asked her to make something for when we leave again... and apparently, Hisako helped with the general design..." She said quietly. She knew that much was true, the outfit did practically scream Hisako. She didn't mind though, she liked it well enough. She just had to get used to a couple things.

Kanone watched as Zale started to slink away and then smiled weakly before he looked back to Aamori again and laughed slightly when she said not to let her interrupt. He tilted his head a little when she said that Hisako had been the one to put Sanura to work. He laughed softly and then shook his head a little, "Well...have to say Hisako has some pretty good tastes. Looks good... Bet you had Celestine drooling buckets when you came down in that," he said with a slight laugh. "Speaking of which...where did you stash him anyway?" he asked simply. He knew Celestine had been inside with her before, but he obviously hadn't come back inside with her.

Kyiri was still wandering around the house playing in the sand. She really hadn't been around this much sand, or at least this was the first time that she had ever been set in it. This was almost like an endless litter box. She was having a ball running around and digging herself some little holes. She was having fun digging up litlte shells and other sorts of things, though it would probably be her luck to eventually dig up a crap or something that she really didn't want.

Aamori had glanced after Zale briefly just to see where he was going and how soon it'd be until he'd gotten where he was going. She could already tell she'd need to go let him outside again really soon. She looked back to Kanone for a moment and nodded her head slightly after he'd said that Hisako had good tastes. She couldn't really refute that. Even if this outfit wasn't exactly her taste in clothing, it still did look nice. She was going to open her mouth to repeat her thanks, at least until he'd gone on to say he bet Celestine had been drooling buckets. She shook her head very lightly and averted her eyes, rather thankful for the follow up question. "He's outside." She answered. "He... didn't really think he could feed Zale." She added quietly and then pointed a little towards the front doors to Zale who was now trying to sit patiently waiting to be let out. "It's probably better that he didn't come inside and feed him." She started as she headed towards the doors herself. "He might have wound up the plate." She said jokingly and then continued to the front doors to let Zale outside, then proceeded to follow him onto the porch.

Zale continued straight over to the front doors and stood there for a moment before glancing back to Aamori. He waited for maybe a whole fifteen seconds before looking back again, this time at Hikari and LaRae on top of Aamori. He was naturally impatient, so much so that it probably annoyed a lot of people. He finally started to sit down a little, only to wind up starting to stand and then sit again. Clearly he wanted out and was having a hell of time trying to be good and wait for someone to let him out. He was relieved, tremendously, once Aamori got her rear in gear and opened the door. He practically bolted out the door, leaping from the porch and landing in the sand a good couple feet from the base of the stairs. He wasn't the most graceful, most of the time, so of course he didn't stick his landing. He tumbled and rolled into the sand making quite the fool of himself, but he didn't really care. He laid there for a brief moment before rolling upright and shaking his head a little, though he hadn't bothered to stand just yet.

Kanone laughed slightly when he caught Aamori averting her eyes after his comment. Well, that confirmed that suspicion. He shook his head a little and then snickered when she said that he didn't think that he could feed Zale. "Oh brother..." He just laughed again after she had said that he might have wound up being the plate and then shook his head. "Then we've have another mess to clean up." Of course that would only really apply if he had eaten something. He looked back to Aamori again, opening his mouth to ask her if Celestine had eaten anything today, but she was already at the doors. He sighed and then closed his eyes again. Well, he guessed he'd tackle him down later and try to get him to eat something or other. That reminded him of one other person that probably hadn't been eating much of anything. Maybe he could go get something for himself and Nero later.

Celestine was still sitting in the porch swing when the door opened and Zale came bounding out the door. He watched him dive off of the porch and land headlong in the sand before he laughed softly and shook his head a little. He glanced over to the door again when he noticed Aamori step back out onto the porch and then tilted his head a little. "Well...he seems satisfied," he said simply.

Kyiri was under the house when Zale decided to come pouncing off of the steps, and she nearly jumped a foot into the hair when he hit the ground. After a moment she scurried up tot the back of the steps and then jumped up to hang off of the back of the step before she managed to haul herself up and then pounced off of the step herself and scurried over to Zale before she jumped up onto his back and crouched down between his shoulder blades, raising her bum into the air as she wiggled and prepared to pounce on top of his head.

Aamori would have turned back to answer any other questions had Kanone spoken up and so that she could hear, but since he hadn't of course she had continued straight to the porch and then shut the door quietly behind her. She shook her head lightly after seeing how Zale wound up in the sand and then watched for a moment when she spotted Kyiri jumping from the steps. She glanced over to the swing when she heard Celestine and nodded her head lightly before moving a little closer. She paused shy of the swing and leaned against the railing a little. "...He kind of feeds himself..." She started. "I don't think I'd had the fridge open that long before he'd wiggled his way in and stolen fish from the shelf..." She paused. "...Then proceeded to run away and eat it on top of your cousin." She chuckled quietly after finishing that sentence. That sounded pretty funny even just hearing about it.

Zale thankfully had caught sight of Kyiri before she reached him or else he probably would've startled terribly when she jumped onto his back. He could only keep himself sitting there for a few brief moments before he'd started to roll to the side a little to try and slide her off his back. It was kind of difficult to play with her if she was on his back, let alone between his shoulder blades. That was probably the only place he couldn't reach her at no matter how hard he tried.

Celestine shook his head slightly when she said that he had fed himself and then chuckled softly after hearing that Zale had decided to eat on to of Kanone. "Haha....I think I'm glad I stayed outside..." He didn't particularly want to see a fish get eaten by something. He didn't mind so much when it wasn't still identifiable as some type on animal, like with the food that Annan had made for Kyiri, that didn't bother him so much since he couldn't tell what it had been just by looking at it. He looked back to Aamori again briefly and then turned his gaze back to Zale briefly since he saw Kyiri pouncing on him. He just shook his head slightly and then sighed. "Be gentle, Zale...she's a lot smaller than you," he warned him again. It made him a little nervous Kyiri playing with Zale considering how rambunctious he was.

Kyiri pounced as soon as she felt Zale starting to roll over and landed smack on the side of his head before she crouched down and started sniffing at his muzzle. Zale always smelled like fish and she knew he'd just eaten some moments ago. After a second she just licked his muzzle right near his mouth and then shook her head and mad ea face. Well, that certainly didn't taste like fish.

[[Time Skip of doom due to boredom; Lasting five days following completion of current day]]

Kyran was kind of glad to be moving on to another territory, finally. It seemed like they'd spent an awfully long time in Kairava. At the very least the territory had been relatively relaxing the days that no one was really hurting or recovering. His bruising had improved over the past five days and he wasn't at all that sore anymore, minus a couple motions here and there were he'd feel a slight twinge. He had been thankful to Aamori and Sanura for the new shirt that he'd been given. He didn't mind that much wandering around with nothing but his vest on, but he did prefer to be dressed properly and the clothing he had on did look a lot better with a shirt beneath the vest. The replacement shirt hadn't been made of the same material as Nanashi's, it was just a standard cloth and thankfully nearly the same deep purple as his old one so she wasn't walking around in nothing but black. He had been standing near the rear of the boat while it docked and waited for the end to be let down so that everyone could exit. It was roughly past noon so the ride to this shore hadn't been quite as eventful as it had been when they first came here. He slipped off the boat onto the dock and stepped off to the side while he waited for Hikari and the others to get off the boat so that they could continue. Nobu of course hadn't been very far behind him when he got off the boat so he too was already waiting on everyone else.

Nero like usual had tried his best to keep to himself for the boat ride, unless Kanone had managed to work his way near him. He couldn't say he was excited about leaving Kairava, he was at least kind of happy about leaving the white sandy beaches but he wasn't thrilled about going somewhere even worse on his eyes. He unfortunately hadn't started this trip well prepared and was going to suffer for it. He was at the very least a little relieved that he wasn't moving onto the next territory at a disadvantage, well other than his eyes. He'd half unwillingly let Hikari tackle the injury to his leg since it wasn't healing that fast, or that well on it's own. He may have been stubborn about certain things but he wasn't stupid. He'd tried letting it heal on it's own and since that hadn't worked he gave in and let her have her way. Unfortunately his pants weren't as easily fixed as his injury and they still suffered from the holes that damn fish had bitten into them. Once the boat had finally docked he waited for a few moments before finally starting towards the dock to get down from the boat. He slipped across the dock, a bit past Kyran and stood well out of everyone elses way.

LaRae was physically feeling a lot better than she had thanks to all of the rest she'd been able to get over the past few days. Emotionally, she wasn't quite up to par. The whole prison experience had kind of messed with her a bit more than she would have thought, though she was at least talking alright. She just had a bit more frequent silent stints and God forbid she ever have to have something bound for medical reasons; it may be near impossible to even get close to her. She was also a little wary of Nanashi, unfortunately. She still wasn't quite sure where that one fire had come from and it made her uncomfortable not knowing. She was at the very least trying not to let that show too much because she didn't want to upset Nanashi in any way. She was a bit ready for a change of scenery, so the boat ride was a bit enjoyable, minus Nanashi's seasickness of course. She'd been a bit curious about Glenys, mostly because she knew Hikari was a princess and she'd wanted to see how someone like Hikari lived as compared to well, everything else she knew. When the boat had finally docked and they were starting to get off the boat she kind of lingered near Nanashi, waiting for him to get off first before she followed after him.

Aamori had mixed feelings about leaving Kairava but that was only because this was home, and she loved it here. She was at the very least glad to be getting away from Hisako and her crazy training schedule, not to mention her brother and whatever it was that he did that always bothered Celestine. She'd known that Yoichi flirted with Celestine a little here and there but she really didn't know to what extent, at all. She was really trying to enjoy and take in as much as she could of the boat ride to the other shore. This was going to be the last boat ride here in Kairava for awhile, at least until she finally returned. She was going to miss having so much water around. It was really nice having it completely surrounding you to the point that it was everywhere that you looked. Sometime during the past couple days she had decided to keep Zale's blades, responsibilities and all. The deciding factor was probably the fact that she could only protect herself so much with a blunt weapon, and for a girl, she may have been strong but she could only put so much force behind her weapon. She didn't want to have to be protected by Celestine, or anyone else for that matter and having a sharp weapon versus a blunt one might be to her advantage if they ever encountered something like the hyrda again. Or at least that was her train of thought. Since she'd taken up rights to the blades she'd had one of Sanura's friends who worked in leather make her a new holster. She needed something that could hold up the blades as well as her staff. She'd been given a black holster this time, one that didn't stick out too much against her black wetsuit. It strapped around her waist like a belt and then strapped again to both the uppermost part of her thighs and then a little above her knee. The holders for the blades were on either side of her and very similar to what a pistol would be placed in, then there was a smaller strap that snapped across the hilt to hold the blades in place. Her staff had been given a smaller less noticeable place to be stashed. At the back of her new holster was small case, no larger than her staff when it was at it's smallest. The case looked upside down, though that was only so that when you pulled the snaps open the staff would fall into your hand. Aside from her holster the only other addition to her person was a relatively small bag, more like a backpack. It was just big enough to fit between her wings without causing too much of an obstruction. She hadn't wanted to carry a bag but she'd needed something to keep the water relic in. She'd been given a piece of expensive looking, water proof fabric from Sanura so that she could wrap it up. At least then the relic could sit in her bag without sticking out like a sore thumb on the off chance someone else went digging into her bag. That could've been an unneeded precaution though since no other dragon should be able to touch the relic. Once the boat had docked and everyone started to get down she glanced over to Zale briefly and motioned with her hand for him to follow. It was going to take some getting used to, having him always around and having to look after him. She just hoped it didn't take too long to get used to him always being there.

Hikari had been trying her best to rest up as much as she could, though she had managed to get over to check on Nero's leg and heal it once he let her. She had also gotten around to healing Nanashi's nose two days prior, so it was no longer broken or swelled, though it was still bruised and there wasn't a lot that she could do about that. She was still a little on the tired side, but at least she had managed to rest put enough that she was pretty much back up to par. As much as she was enjoying the islands, she was glad to finally be leaving considering how much time they had spent there already. She wasn't, however, looking forward to going home. Quite honestly, she was enjoying the break and didn't particularly want to go back to being a princess. Thus far, Celestine, Kanone, and Nero were the only ones who didn't already know who she really was, but she didn't really want them to find out either, especially not Nero. If she could avoid it she would completely bypass taking them anywhere near the palace, but she also knew that she was going to have to go there, and the palace would be the safest place for Nero to stay. She was honestly going to have to think long and hard about those things, she knew going to the palace would cause them all to wind up wasting time, not that they had much more to waste. They'd wasted all of the time they could spare really in Kairava already. She had spent most of the boat ride near the railing or around Kyran. She had to admit that this ride was a lot better taken during the day. Once they had stopped at the pier she glanced over to Kyran as he stepped off of the boat and then followed close behind him. She glanced down to Nobu for a moment and then sighed softly and crossed her arms. She would really love to skip over this leg of the journey.

Kanone had indeed made his way over to Nero on the trip, though mostly because he didn't think it was safe to stand near Celestine anymore. He had playfully given him a push toward the railing earlier without realizing that Kyiri was sitting on his opposite shoulder which had resulted in her nearly falling in the drink. That of course had set Celestine off, not only because he scared him half to death, but he'd also nearly drowned his cat. He had a nice knot on his arm just to prove that Celestine was pretty irate with him, so he just moved to the other end of the vessel. He didn't talk to Nero too much on the trip, mostly because he spent a lot of it leaned against the railing and staring at the water trying to get a good look at the giant fish. He knew that Nero would probably prefer it if they just remained closet friends, so he didn't pester him quite as much as he had at the island. He had actually taken to getting the buy lunch since he hardly came out of his room even long enough to eat so he just brought him food and had lunch with him for the remaining few days of their stay. That was about his only source of entertainment throughout the day anyway unless Zale came over to play. Nobu and Esen didn't really make very good play buddies. Finally, once the beat had docked he made his way to the dock as well and watched as Nero moved past everyone and went to stand alone. He looked at him for a moment and then cracked a smile before he held up his hands toward him with his fingers crossed in an X like one would do when they didn't like something or wanted it to keep away. After a few seconds he just laughed and dropped his hands back to his sides, only propping one on his hip while he waited for everyone else.

Celestine was feeling better at least, though he was of course thoroughly pissed at the moment. His nose was cleared up and Kanone had been on his case for the past few days about eating, so he'd ended up intaking plenty of fruits and water. He had gone back to Sanura's with Aamori whenever she had to make a trip and was rather surprised to find that she had indeed made him something from that cloth. The end result was an ankle length cloak with a very loose hood that even had a slit that allowed for his horn. The cloak was dyed the same emerald green as a good portion of his clothing items, though it may had been a few shades darker and the interior was a softer, lighter shade of green that was there probably more to keep him warm than an anything. The cloak tied around the neck and was decorated around the border with a lighter shade of green that made tiny spiraling patterns around the rim. It was a very lovely cloak, though unfortunately it made him look more like a girl than ever. He didn't mind so long as it kept him dry, though...and as long as no one made too many comments about it. He spent the entire boat ride standing near the railing fuming about Kanone's stupid stunt while Kyiri had taken to sitting inside his bag on top of his clean clothes rather than on his shoulder. Once the boat docked he turned and started off, though he noticed Esen on Nobu's tail since she'd apparently decided that it was safer to follow him around than stand beside him while he was in a sour mood. He just sighed heavily and continued off the boat well behind Kanone and then just moved back even further than Nero had gone, just trying to get closer to the gates and away from the water. He sighed softly, half wishing that Marius had decided to come back with them, but he'd opted to stay in Kairava for another day or two and try to relax a bit by himself unless Levana came to see him of course. now that he was here he seemed in no huge hurry to get back. It wasn't like he really did too much anyway, and there were three other elders to the clan, surely they could manage on their own for a couple of weeks. It wasn't like he left Caledonia very often.

Nanashi had spent the entire boat ride sitting down and curled up in a ball with is arms crossed over his stomach. He was feeling a bit better, though he was still very sore and bruised in multiple places and having chronic headaches. Thankfully all of his bruising was covered now that he had a new shirt, well all except for the ones on his face. Most of his bruises from the stairs were fading down to simply slightly darkened areas that were sore to the touch, but the newer ones were still dark and very noticeable even against his coppery skin. He was at least warmer on this ride than he had been on the last considering that he had a much better coat and it was daylight. He still felt sick to his stomach, but he hadn't eaten anything before they left and he manged not to get sick on the way back. Unfortunately, Nanashi had noticed that LaRae seemed to be trying to stay as far away from him as she could without actually being away from him, and it did bother him though he hadn't said anything about it. He didn't know why she was acting different around him unless she was really that bothered by being locked up or if it had to do with that fire. To be honest, he was probably more worried about it than any of them considering that he had no idea how it happened, and even Hikari couldn't come up with a good explanation for it and if it had somehow been his fault he had no idea how he had done it, how to control it, or how to stop it from happening. He could have set LaRae's face on fire for all he knew and the last thing he wanted was to hurt anyone like that. In response to his silent worry about LaRae and the mystery fire he hadn't said a whole lot in the last few days unless spoken to and even then it was only short answers, and he hadn't been all that interested in eating either. He was fairly used to going for a long time without eating anyway so missing out on a few days didn't bother him. He just really wasn't hungry and the idea of eating had nine times out of ten made his stomach churn. He hadn't made a sound the entire ride back to the mainland and for the most part kept his head down, eyes closed, and teeth clenched. Once the boat had docked he continued to sit there for a few moments before he even realized it, though once he had he slowly raised his head and glanced toward the dock before he stood up, a little unsteadily, and then started to move toward the docks, though he glanced over to LaRae briefly to see where she was before he made his way all the way to the dock and off of the boat. He staggered a little once he hit the dock since the solid ground felt strange after he'd been so used to the ground rocking beneath him. He moved his hand to his mouth quickly after he caught himself and then closed his eyes tightly for a moment before he swallowed hard and then slowly lowered his hand. He really looked like he was about to turn three shades of green and could probably stand to lay down for a while, but still he didn't say anything.

Aamori continued to stand where she was until everyone had gotten down from the boat. She couldn't help noticing once she glanced around at everyone that it looked like they kept picking someone up with each territory they went to. When they left Radha they added Nobu to the group then technically Esen and Kanone followed after Caledonia and lastly there was Zale as they were leaving Kairava. The group was steadily growing and she was kind of curious if this meant that they were going to be leaving each territory a little larger than when they arrived. She shook her head slightly, putting that thought aside for now and then proceeded to walk over towards the gate that would let them out of the territory. She of course had to wait for the guard to come and unlock the gate but once the door was open she paused and looked back at the others. "Well, we're officially leaving Kairava." She commented and then turned back to the gate and stepped through to the other side. She would have lingered longer on the other side, most likely nearest the pier and the ocean but after what Kanone had done to freak Celestine out she decided against making him stay even remotely close to the water just so she could get herself prepared to leave it once more. The gate wouldn't have opened without her asking the guard and the gate wasn't too far from the docks to begin with. Once she was on the other side of the gate and a good couple feet from it she looked back, mostly at Hikari since Glenys was the next territory. "...You get to take the lead from here." She told her. She was pretty sure that Hikari could handle the rest, it wasn't that hard to walk across an open beach to where her territory started.

Kyran looked over at Hikari after they'd both gotten down from the boat and sighed softly. He was fairly certain that she wasn't looking forward to going to Glenys, but that was only because they'd already talked a little about it here and there. He reached over to her and set his hand down on her shoulder lightly. He didn't say anything, mostly because he wasn't sure he wanted to draw any attention to the fact that she wasn't looking forward to going home. Her circumstances were different then both his and Celestine's and even a bit different from Aamori's, so this was bound to be a little difficult for her. Or at least he thought so. He did already think they would spend more time here than they had in Radha or Caledonia. Both Aamori and Hikari had very different lives from the common person so he had suspected they'd spend more time in each of their territories. He was of course worried about the time that they were spending in each territory but it couldn't really be helped and sure, they had a time limit but they'd be fine so long as the remaining territories after Glenys went as smoothly as Radha and Caledonia had, minus the injuries of course. He finally pulled his hand back from her shoulder once Aamori had gotten the gate opened up and slipped through it. He kind of motioned in that direction with his head as he started to take a step forward himself.

LaRae stood not too far from Nanashi while she waited for him to get up and get off of the boat. He could probably have reached her easily if he'd extended his arm to her. It was probably going to take a few days without completely random fires appearing for her to start relaxing again. Once she had a feeling the fires weren't going to appear again things would likely steadily go back to normal between her and Nanashi but for now she couldn't help the extra precaution. She was afraid of uncontrolled fire nearly as bad as she was afraid of being bound. It was a fear she couldn't really control either, no matter how much rational thought went into it she'd still be afraid of uncontrolled fire. She started off of the boat after Nanashi, kind of to keep an eye on him in case he wound up taking a spill somewhere along the way. She stepped down onto the dock without much trouble at all and continued to stay relatively close to him. She still had the bruises on her wrists and ankles though they weren't quite as bad as they had been and they were only really sore when she put too much pressure on them. She was sure that walking was going to be enough to hurt her ankles after awhile but she wasn't about to go complaining about it. The bruises she'd received from the fall down the stairs weren't even really noticeable now. They hadn't been that bad to begin with since she hadn't fallen down the stairs as bad as Nanashi had.

Nero merely shook his head lightly in response to Kanone raising his fingers together like he had. He was at least a little glad that Kanone wasn't gluing himself to him. He kind of liked Kanone, at least a little and he didn't particularly want an extra appendage so he was glad for the space Kanone was giving, or trying to give. He didn't think Kanone could keep away and keep quiet forever. He'd surely end up closer to him at some point during the trip. He glanced around briefly after it looked like everyone had gotten off of the boat and then eyed Aamori momentarily as she got the guard to open the gate so that they could get going. He really wasn't looking forward to going to Glenys, quite possibly the brightest place on all of Arienh.

Hikari wasn't paying too much attention to anything until Kyran placed his hand on her shoulder. She raised her head and looked at him before she smiled slightly and then sighed before shaking her head. She raised her own hand to rest on top of his for a moment before she crossed her arms again. She glanced over to Aamori when she said that they were officially leaving Kairava and then stepped through the gate before she sighed again and started to walk toward the gate herself once Kyran had motioned her in that direction and started walking. Once she'd stepped through the gate she glanced over to Aamori after she had said that she got to lead from here. She smiled weakly and her ears actually laid back for a moment. "Goody..." she said quietly before she glanced to the trees that were the beginning of the woods of Glenys. Luckily for Nero, it was a more gradual change from the beach to the inner territory. For now it looked like any other forest, though that would slowly start to change as they went deeper. She stood there silently for a moment and then shook her head a little before she adjusted her bow and started to move forward. She glanced back briefly to make sure that everyone was with her and then continued on to the tree line before stepping past the beach and back onto the solid ground, pushing past a small bush as she went. The forest was clear for now with only the usual trees, bushes and foliage. Right now the forest hardly looked different from the forests in Caledonia. She wasn't walking very quickly, mostly because she was in no hurt yo get back and also because she wanted to spare Nero's eyes once they got out of this part of the forest. It wasn't quite as bad as it got darker, so she hoped she could stall getting to the brighter areas until later when she could manage to find him some form of eye protection.

Celestine just stood there silently until he noticed Aamori heading toward the gate and then he finally started to move, though he glanced back to Esen briefly and sighed when he noticed that she was still sticking close to Nobu. He kind of wished the animals wouldn't avoid him when he was irritated like that, he wasn't going to take it out on them. He paused for a moment and looked at Esen for a few seconds before he glanced over to Nobu and then back to Esen. Normally he didn't really mind them going wherever they liked, but right now he wasn't too keen on being around any of his fellow dragon friends, so he'd rather have Nobu and/or Esen nearby to keep him company on the walk. He didn't ask either of them to come to him, however, he just turned around and continued walking with a quiet sigh once he was no longer facing them. He slipped out of the gate silently and then glanced at Aamori briefly before he watched as Hikari moved up to take the lead and started across the sands to the woods Well...he could at least safely say that he was glad that he wasn't going to have to walk in the sun too long. He was fair skinned, even though he stayed outdoors most of the time, so it wasn't beyond him to get sunburned if it was too bright. There was plenty of shade in Caledonia, out here on the beach were wasn't much to keep the sun off of him. He almost wished that he could just tan, but if he did get sun burned he was always just as pale after it went away as he was before hand. Not to mention it was going to be a little cooler in the shade of the trees. He was kind of surprised to see how similar the entrance to Glenys was here to Caledonia.

Esen just stayed close to Nobu's side, at least until she noticed Celestine standing there looking at the both of them. She glanced over to Nobu for a moment and then slowly inched forward after Celestine had resumed walking. She just wasn't so sure being around him when he was in a bad mood was a good idea, though it was kind of obvious that he wanted one or both of them to walk with him, so she moved up beside him again and nuzzled his hand gently as she fell in pace with him.

Kanone just half smiled at Nero again when he shook his head at him and then just started after everyone else once they all got moving. For now he just hung back a little closer to Nero than anyone since he thought it was safer to avoid Celestine right now and he could imagine that everyone else was probably a little miffed at him for setting the kid off. He didn't really plan to pester Nero any, he just thought he'd be less likely to get stomped if he stayed out of the way with him.

Nanashi glanced over to LaRae again once he had managed to get his barrings straight and sighed softly before he glanced around at the others. Once Aamori got on her way he watched as she and everyone else started through the gate before he managed to make himself start walking again. He just crossed his arms over his stomach lightly and started to move forward slowly, keeping his eyes down for the time being. Once he was on the other side of the gate he glanced up to see where Hikari was going and then started after her, though again he lowered his eyes this time mostly just because the sun made Hikari almost too bright to keep an eye on. He still didn't bother to make a sound though he did periodically glance to the side to see if LaRae's shoes had gotten any further away from him or if she was still staying within arm's reach.

Kyran waited patiently for Hikari to start walking and of course followed after her, even once she'd started into the forest where her territory started. He was well aware that Hikari wasn't very enthused about returning home, but unfortunately it was something that had to be done. He just kind of wished there was a way to lift her spirits about it. He sighed softly and stuck relatively close to her while she lead the way. He wasn't surprised by the forest being the way it was, like any other normal forest. He'd been to every territory at least once so he did remember some of these things. "Roughly how long should it be before we reach your destination?" He asked a little curiously. He may have remembered some stuff about the different territories but he wasn't exactly sure of distances and locations, so he didn't quite know how long it should normally take to go from the beach of Kairava to where Hikari was taking them.

Nobu had been sticking close to Kyran mostly because Celestine had Esen to walk with, though, given the less than pleasant mood Celestine was in, Esen wasn't quite walking with him. He did notice when Celestine looked back at the two of them and he got the impression that he didn't want to walk alone. He would have gone over to walk with him but he stuck near Kyran since Esen had went ahead and gone over. He still had his moments when he didn't feel as well as he could and felt a little unneeded since Celestine had his own dog now. He liked Esen well enough and it wasn't really anything against her, he just couldn't help the way he felt. He continued to keep close to Kyran for the time being and followed after him and Hikari.

Aamori lingered on the sand for a few moments longer before she started to head after Celestine, and Esen since she'd gone to walk with him. She didn't bother getting all that close to him just because he could be a little difficult to deal with when he was in a sour mood. She wasn't far behind him though, mostly because she didn't want to appear as if she couldn't stand to be around him in a bad mood. Under the right circumstances she could deal with his mood and since Kanone had been the one to set him off, not her, she was a little less likely to avoid him. For the most part she was just giving him his space, if he wanted to talk to her he could. She didn't care too much for the forest entrance into Glenys. She just wasn't very coordinated and forest floors weren't very giving when it came to someone walking. Not only did she have to deal with the roots and stuff that stuck up every so often she had to do it in heels. This was bound to be a royal pain, but she wasn't griping about it. If she tripped or fell, she'd just have to get up and keep walking.

LaRae was quite a bit relieved that Glenys had a forest very similar to Caledonia. She'd gone what felt like a really long time without any real good foliage around her. Honestly... palm trees and little shrubs were about it in Kairava and she was used to massive overgrown trees in dense forests. This was at least a pleasant change and it did make her feel a little better than she had been feeling. She continued to follow after Nanashi, trying her best to maintain the arms length distance though it occasionally shortened a little here depending on how fast she was walking. She did at least try to make a conscious effort not to fall too far behind him while they walked.

Nero as usual waited until everyone else had started into the forest to start following after them. He certainly preferred taking up the rear rather than being somewhere in the middle, or the front for that matter. Then, thankfully, even with the nice coverage from the forest he didn't have Hikari right there in front of his face bright, white and sparkly. He wasn't all that surprised to see Kanone hanging closer to him than any of the others. Though, that was mostly because it seemed the safest place to be after setting Celestine off was anywhere around him. It was almost like he was thought to be the shield against Celestine's anger or like he'd be able to make Celestine just cool off or something just by looking at him. He guessed he didn't really mind, when he really thought about it but there would likely be hell to pay if Celestine did ever get upset enough to come looking for whom ever was taking refuge near him.

Hikari was just trying to be careful not to trip on anything as she walked, though thankfully the trees were spaced decently apart and there weren't too many roots poking up out of the ground so walking wasn't too bad. Then again, she was only a klutz when she tried to run on uneven land like this. After hearing Kyran's question she glanced back to him briefly and then shrugged a little. "Honestly...I couldn't say. I've never been this far out of the territory, I just know the general direction to go in. I'll let you know once things start looking familiar again. Right now I just know I'm going in the right direction." She half smiled and then shrugged, "...We could be there faster by the end of the day if we sped up but..." she glanced back briefly and then sighed softly, "I think it would be a little hard on LaRae and Nanashi to speed up to get there faster and...it does get a lot...brighter as you go deeper into the forest and...I kind of wanted to go ahead before we get there and find something to shield Nero's eyes. If the sands of Kairava bothered him he may almost go blind here." Hikari was certain that she could manage to get to the city and back to the others in a few hours if she was hurrying by herself, so she could bring back some kind of glasses for Nero's eyes that would at least block some of the light. Even light dragons had a form of dark glasses though it was more for the purpose of hiding their glowing eyes when they were trying not to be too noticeable in the dark.

Celestine looked down to Esen and smiled weakly when he felt her nuzzle his hand and then stroked the top of her head lightly before he looked up ahead and saw Nobu walking with Kyran. He sighed softly and lowered his eyes again, though he knew he couldn't complain much. Nobu was Kyran's pet, not his, so it was natural for him to walk with Kyran, or at least that's what he told himself. He still sometimes wondered if Nobu was avoiding him when he spent a long time with Kyran without even offering to come near him, but he never said anything. He just kept quiet and stayed close behind them, absently rubbing the top of Esen's head as he walked.

Nanashi didn't know why LaRae insisted on staying behind him, but he didn't ask. He glanced back to her once after they entered the forest and nearly walked right into a tree in the process, narrowly missing it when he turned back around. After that he kept his head forward and eyes on the ground, looking up only enough to watch the back of Aamori's boots so that he would know where to go. He didn't really feel like looking around, mostly because he still felt sick and he had seen plenty of trees before, so there wasn't a lot to see for him.

Kanone just sighed and raised his arms to cross behind his head before he started after the others into the forest, walking just a step or two ahead of Nero. He glanced back to him once and smiled at him before he turned back around and kept going. He was a little annoyed having Celestine's swallow strapped to his back, but it certainly beat the hell out of having Kyiri sitting on his head again. It was a good trade as far as he was concerned.

Kyran nodded his head slightly, mostly in acknowledgement once Hikari had started to answer his question. Of all of the people in the group if any of them were to know how long it would take he had guessed it to be her, but then again, she wasn’t a common person. He hadn’t really thought about it but he guessed it was kind of illogical to ask what he had considering her social standing? He wasn’t quite sure what he’d call it at the moment but with her being royalty it wasn’t likely that she’d taken may stroll’s this far out. Of course he felt a little silly now that he’d thought about it but it was still a common question. He sighed quietly and continued to look at her while they walked, listening to the following things she had to say. He wasn’t surprised to hear that she hadn’t planned to speed up partially with LaRae and Nanashi in mind. He had to agree with that, he wouldn’t really want to ask that of them, not when they were both still pretty sore. He wasn’t in that much of a hurry to get anywhere really; he’d just kind of wanted to know a time frame for the sake of knowing. He was a little surprised to hear her say that she had wanted to go ahead of everyone else in order to retrieve something to shield Nero’s eyes. “…That’s nice of you.” He commented absently after hearing that. He knew Hikari was nice, anyone could see that just by being around her for a few minutes but he hadn’t really expected to hear her want to go that far for something for Nero’s eyes. He shrugged lightly; perhaps it wasn’t really all that surprising really. “I guess I didn’t really think too much about his eyes.” He paused. “He did spend quite a bit of time barred up in the room with it as dark as he could possibly get it, at least when we didn’t need to do something.” He shook his head lightly. “I’m not too bothered by the bright and reflective lights so I guess I never really thought about how sensitive dark dragon’s eyes were…” He commented quietly, mostly to himself. He really hadn’t thought too much about it, especially since Nero didn’t make too much of a fuss about his eyes bothering him. Then again, Nero never made a fuss, period.

Zale kept pretty close to Aamori while they were walking, partially because he’d never been in a forest quite like this before. He’d only ever been around water and palm trees so this was a little new for him. Had this not been a new experience for him he probably would have been his usual rambunctious self. He was bound to return to his usual self soon enough though. Once all of this sank in and it wasn’t quite so new he’d be bouncing all over the place wanting to play again.

LaRae for the most part had kept her head up while she walked, only occasionally looking away from Nanashi so that she could admire the foliage. She did happen to catch when he nearly walked into a tree and sighed quietly. That had been enough to tell her that she was probably making Nanashi concerned. She had wanted to try and avoid too much of an obvious change in her behavior but it was harder than she imagined it would be, especially if with just this he was noticing and almost walking into trees. She debated with herself for a second or two about moving closer. She guessed so long as she kept a close eye out there was no reason to be keeping a distance from him. She just couldn’t help being wary of the completely random fire. She heaved a slightly heavier sigh and increased her pace slightly so that she wasn’t quite walking behind him but more just off to the side, of course shortening her distance from him in the process.

Nero continued walking quietly behind everyone else, not really bothering to look around too much. If you’d seen one forest, you’d kind of seen them all. He just stared at Kanone briefly after he’d looked back and smiled. He shook his head lightly in response and just kept walking. He really wasn’t looking forward to this, not even for the sake of being out of Kairava. The forest may have been easy to deal with at the moment but he was fairly certain that it was only going to get worse, a lot worse. His eyes could handle things the way they were right this moment, mostly because of the shade from the trees but that wasn’t going to last forever and he was really regretting not coming prepared for this trip. He’d have been perfectly fine in Kairava and here too had he remembered, or even thought for that matter, to bring his own glasses with him. Shyama had prepared most of the dark dragons for things like this by making specialty sun glasses that covered your eyes but still made it easy to see. Unfortunately he was a bit lacking in the glasses department.

Hikari glanced back to Kyran for a moment when he spoke and then smiled weakly and shook her head a little when he said that it was nice of her to think of Nero's eyes. "...We had a small conversation about it while I was fuming at you..." she said simply, sure that he remembered when she'd taken to walking in the back with Nero since she didn't want to walk with him. "...Glenys can be overpoweringly bright for some other clans, specifically the ones that are usually shadowed in their own territory like in Caledonia and Medini, I can imagine all of the light might make Nero blind." She had a feeling that the brightness may be hard on everyone's eyes, though perhaps after spending so much time on the white beaches of Kairava it wouldn't be too horrible to bear. She knew that Cináed and Kairava were both covered in white sands that were very bright int he sun and most thunder dragons weren't bothered by bright lights considering that their element consisted of it as well, but Medini and Caledonia were mostly forests and Shyama...well she didn't really know what the territory was like other than dark, so she was aware that the change in scenery would probably be especially harder on Celestine, Kanone, LaRae, and Nero but most certainly hardest on Nero. As they continued into the forest a mile or so, give or take, there did start to become a few noticeable changes. The ground was not only littered with leaves from the trees and bushes, but in a few areas there were small crystal structures sticking out of the ground by a few inches, and they were of various shapes, sizes, and colors ranging from red, blue, green, yellow-orange, purple, black, and on a rare occasion, white. Out here the crystals were just starting to form, but as one continued further into the territory the structures grew in both width, height, and number so that they could range anywhere from a few inches to three and four feet tall.

Nanashi did notice when LaRae sped up and got closer to him and finally glanced over to her again after a few moments. He looked at her for a few seconds before he glanced away again. "...LaRae," he started quietly as he lowered her eyes again, "...you don't...have to stay close to me...if you'd rather walk somewhere else... I don't mind..." That last statement was a bold faced lie, but he didn't want LaRae to be so wary of him, and it only made him more uncomfortable having her close to him when he knew that she'd rather be away from him. He still didn't know exactly what it was that was making her so uncomfortable but the only solution that he could come up with was that she blamed him with her pillow catching on fire. Honestly he was pretty sure that everyone blamed him for it, though no one had really said anything to him about it. It still unnerved him since even he didn't know if he'd caused it or how. He really just wished everyone would forget about it, him included.

Kanone glanced back to Nero again after a few seconds since he still hadn't said anything to him and had just shaken his head. "...Something up?" he asked quietly. He was keeping his voice down, trying not to draw too much attention to the conversation. He knew that Nero didn't really want to be bothered with him when they were with everyone, but he could tell that something was bugging Nero a little. He had a feeling he probably didn't really want to talk, but...well he could try at least.

Kyran continued to look at Hikari while they walked, though he did finally decide to move a bit closer to her so that she wouldn’t have to keep looking back at him just to talk to him. He moved up beside her, or as beside her as he could comfortably get with the terrain and foliage in mind. He laid his ears back very slightly after she’d made mention of the time she was fuming at him. He’d have liked to have forgotten that ever came up, unfortunately it didn’t look like it’d be easily forgotten. He just nodded his head slightly after the comment and continued to listen. He nodded his head again absently after she’d finished speaking. Honestly, he hadn’t given very much thought into the light territory bothering anyone, well, other than Nero. That was almost a given but he hadn’t focused too much on it bothering anyone’s eyes. “…I hadn’t really thought about it bothering anyone.” He admitted quietly. He’d been to every territory and knew what each was like but he hadn’t had very much trouble with his eyes adjusting to the different territories. The only territory he really hadn’t been prepared for was the dark and that was just because he hadn’t expected the dark territory to be… so gloomy looking. He sighed quietly and glanced over to her momentarily. “Since you’ve already had this conversation with Nero, have you mentioned it at all to the others it’ll bother?” He paused. “I mean it might be nice to warn them, thoroughly, just in case.” He added quietly. He wasn’t sure how prepared any of the others had been for the light territory and none of them, to his knowledge had ever been here so they may not have had any idea what their eyes were in for.

LaRae kept pretty silent while she was walking and finally glanced over to Nanashi when he started to speak to her. She listened without saying a word and then averted her eyes slightly after he’d said he didn’t mind if she would rather walk somewhere else. It wasn’t so much that she wanted to walk somewhere else, she was just worried and possibly for no reason. She did still want to be around him she just wished there was some sort of guarantee that there would never be a random fire like that every again. She did feel bad after hearing him say that, mostly because she hadn’t wanted to have it show so much that she was uncomfortable but apparently it showed plenty. She sighed quietly and started to glance over at him again with her ears laid back slightly. “…No …I’m alright…” She responded quietly, at least trying to sound a little reassuring.

Nero looked over at Kanone briefly once he’d glanced back at him again and asked if something was up. He just kind of stared at him for a moment before he shook his head very lightly. He couldn’t believe that Kanone was actually asking him if something was up. He was so used to walking at the back of the group and being completely ignored and that way no one ever really noticed when there was something bothering him, even in the slightest. He averted his eyes slightly and focused briefly on the small crystal structures that were starting to appear. He couldn’t help but glare at them a little knowing that was the start of what he was dreading. He sighed quietly and finally glanced back in Kanone’s direction with a less then enthused look on his face. “…It’s going to get …bright…” He muttered quietly.

Hikari smiled slightly when Kyran came up to walk beside her, somewhat. She tilted her head a little when Kyran asked if she had mentioned it to everyone else. It was painfully obvious to her, so she thought the others could assume, but she guessed it might be nice to warn them. She may just bring back some glasses for everyone just to be safe. "Well, no, I haven't..." she said quietly, "I will warn them before we get to the area...I guess I could just see if I can find something for their eyes as well..." She was pretty sure that she could find some form of glasses that wouldn't hinder their vision too much and would still dim the scenery a bit.

Nanashi glanced back to LaRae again briefly when she said that she was alright and then sighed softly before he looked away again. "...I'm sorry..." he said quietly, whispering to her in her native language. He really hated making her so uncomfortable, but he didn't know what to do to make up for it. He wasn't even entirely sure why he was apologizing other than the face that he just thought that LaRae didn't want to be near him but at the same time didn't want to make him think that she didn't want to be near him either. He had been having that feeling for the majority of the last five days, but this was the first that he'd ever said anything on the subject and already he almost wished he hadn't since LaRae was looking at him that way.

Kanone watched Nero silently and slowed his pace just a tad so that he was walking next to him rather than in front of him, mostly so he wouldn't have to look back at him like that. He tilted his head a little when he heard him say that it was going to get bright and then nodded his head weakly. "Well...yeah once we get out of the trees..." He did remember having the conversation with Nero about his eye sensitivity before, so he was well aware that Nero wasn't going to be enjoying this very much. "Hmm...Well...if I had a hat, I'd give it to you, but..." he smiled weakly. Hats practically had to be custom made to fit one's horns since most everyone's were different and one that was made to fit him likely would do Nero absolutely no good at all considering where his horn was positioned. He blinked when he noticed the crystals that Nero was glaring at and then glanced around for a moment before he came to a stop and knelt down to poke at one small cluster of green ones. "Whoa...this is...weird..." he muttered quietly. He found one small piece that had been broken off by something and picked it up, turning the little green crystal in his fingers for a moment before he looked up and realized that the largest part of the group was leaving him, so he dropped the crystal and scurried back to his feet again and resumed walking. THe last thing he wanted to do was get lost here.

Kyran smiled weakly after she’d answered his question and said that she hadn’t, but she would warn them before they got to the area. “It might be a wasted precaution, making sure they are aware, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.” He commented. He didn’t really want to assume that anyone knew anything, mostly because this stuff wasn’t always someone thought about. Then considering the state of disarray that LaRae had been in the past few days he wouldn’t be surprised at all if the thought had never once crossed her mind. He couldn’t really even take a guess at Celestine and Kanone. He’d kind of like to think Celestine might be smart enough to think of the brightness bothering his eyes but then Kanone… well… He shook his head lightly. He took a moment quietly to himself, mostly to glance around at the crystals that had started popping up as they got deeper into the forest. It’d been a while since he’d seen those things and frankly they still looked out of place in a forest. He glanced back over to Hikari and smiled weakly again. “…I’d ask if you were glad to be back…” He paused. “But I think I can imagine you’re not thrilled.”

LaRae stared over at Nanashi for a moment or two after he’d apologized to her in her native tongue. That still surprised her every time he did it. A fire dragon, a half breed no less, really shouldn’t be able to speak in the earth dragon tongue. It was just plain weird hearing it from him. She didn’t particularly mind it, aside from the fact that she couldn’t yell at him in that language if she ever got mad at him… he’d totally understand it and that kind of defeated the purpose to saying something he couldn’t understand. She continued walking a few steps without so much as a word and then finally glanced back over at him briefly. “…You don’t have to apologize…” She told him quietly. She didn’t think he needed to apologize; he couldn’t help what had scared her after all. Or at least she assumed he couldn’t since half breed’s weren’t supposed to be able to do that and it wasn’t like he’d have done it intentionally even if he were able to do it. She had plenty of time to think about everything that had happened and she’d pretty much come to some comfortable conclusion in her head about it all but that just didn’t do anything about her fear. She was just terribly afraid of uncontrolled fire and even though Nanashi didn’t exactly do anything he got the blame because there was no other reasonable explanation. If anything, she should probably be apologizing to him for blaming him for it.

Nero shook his head a little after Kanone had fallen back to his position and commented that if he’d had a hat he’d give it to him. “Unfortunately hats are pointless when light reflects. A bright light could reflect off of a surface near the floor and the hat would do little to shield my eyes.” He told him quietly. He’d suffered from sensitive eyes for his entire life, just like any other dark dragon so he was well aware of what would and wouldn’t work for protection and at this point without glasses the best bet would probably be to just blindfold him. Even if he shut his eyes the bright light could still reach the eyes through the eyelids if it was bright enough. Of course after spending time in the sun around Hikari’s sparkly ass the light in her territory was bound to be brutal on his eyes, even when shut. He sighed quietly and then finally pulled away from his own thought long enough to realize that Kanone had stopped. He paused for only a second to look back at him while he inspected one of the crystal clusters. He shook his head and proceeded without him, he’d catch up. He may not have been saying much about it or showing it really but he was steadily getting himself worked up over this and was likely to be stressed out by the time they got to the brighter areas.

Hikari smiled a little when he said that it may be an unnecessary precaution to tell them and then shrugged a little. "Honestly, I don't think it really matters... Knowing it is going to be bright isn't going to lessen the intensity of the light, but I suppose it would be courteous to warn them at least." She was silent as Kyran took time to look around and simply continued forward. The forest was gradually changing and becoming just the slightest bit more dense as the trees grew taller and at the same time the crystal structures were getting more frequent and a little larger. They really did seem out of place in the forest, but they were so common to her that she hardly even thought about it. All she knew was that they were there, they were semi useful, and out of place or not, they were rather pretty. That was just one of the things that made her territory unique, these things just formed in the ground and practically grew. Of course there were many many more in the caves, but one could probably imagine that if there were this many just scattered around at random. She glanced back over to Kyran and then half smiled at his comment before she sighed and looked away from him. "...I am glad to be home... I would just be more happy if I could avoid seeing anyone while I'm here. We hardly have anymore time to waste of frivolous nonsense." She knew that was exactly what it would be if she was stuck at the palace. It would be very hard to get anything done since she wouldn't be allowed to be 'Hikari' there. She was going to have to go back to being Selenity soon, and frankly...she liked being Hikari a lot more.

Nanashi just sighed softly when LaRae took a bit to say that he didn't have to apologize. He didn't bother to respond again, just lowered his eyes back to the ground again. He felt like he needed to apologize, though he didn't know why, he just felt like he should. He knew that what had happened with the fire was beyond his control, yet he still felt horrible about it, especially since he had come to the conclusion that even if he didn't do it, everyone thought he did and there was nothing he could do to prove them wrong. He just hated the fact that LaRae was acting so skittish around him like she thought he was going to set her on fire or something, and it really did hurt his feelings even if he didn't say anything about it and he even knew that LaRae was trying to avoid hurting his feelings, which only made it worse that he felt hurt because then he felt bad for feeling bad. All he could do really was apologize and even that really didn't do anything except waste his breath. He didn't bother to look back to LaRae, everyone was a little hard to face, and really he'd rather just go be alone for a little while both to give himself a break and LaRae one as well. He was trying to stay quiet since he didn't want to say anything that would upset anyone or let on that he was upset about anything, as he was trying to just push it from his mind, but unfortunately it was probably fairly noticeable if one got a good look at his face. He just couldn't hide the expression from his eyes and the only expression there was dejection. Even his ears fell back a little when he sighed. He really couldn't help feeling a bit depressed...after all he'd gotten rather used to LaRae being very close to him and after five days of her trying to stay at a distance and just leaving him to guess as to why it honestly almost made him want to tell her to go away if she was too afraid to get near him. It was honestly harder having her close and remaining distant than having her just all out avoiding him. With her close to him he couldn't even sulk about her obvious, to him at least, paranoia of him so every time he wanted to get upset or pout or cry or whatever he felt like doing he just sat there with a blank expression on his face trying not to say anything to give himself away. He was trying just as hard not to hurt her feelings as she was not to hurt his but unfortunately right now he was just feeling a little too miserable to put up a good poker face. He'd just have to settle for not voicing anything and hope that LaRae didn't notice. After all, she'd already had a hard time with being locked in the prison and all, he didn't want to give her more to be upset over than being locked up and having her pillow spontaneously combust.

Kanone simply sighed when Nero said that a hat wouldn't help with reflection. Well, he knew that, but it'd at least keep the sun directly out of his eyes, it might help a little. He didn't have any glasses either, so he still couldn't really help Nero with anything. After he'd dropped the crystal and realized that everyone was leaving him he started jogging to catch back up with everyone. He slowed once he was back beside Nero again and glanced over to him for a moment before he reached over to place a hand on his shoulder lightly. He knew Nero wasn't the most revealing when it came to how he was feeling, but he could guess. He imagined he would likely feel the same way if he were to walk into Medini or Cináed. Not only would be be on a terrain that posed a huge disadvantage to him but he would also be surrounded by dragons that would probably love to either kill him, beat him, or run him out of their land. He offered him a weak smile as he tilted his head a little. "Don't worry about it too much, we'll come up with something." If nothing else he did at least try to sound reassuring. He had no idea what they could come up with but he would try to figure something out. Finally he pulled his hand back and let it fall to his side again. He was pretty sure if there was ever a place Nero could definitely use a friend it was going to be here, so whether he liked it or not he may be stuck with Kanone a bit more than normal, at least for a little while.

Kyran smiled a little after hearing Hikari say that she was glad to be home, though the smile faded as she continued and then he sighed softly. He knew time was going to be an issue here, or at least to Hikari it was. He had been aware that given her standing they may very well be here nearly as long as they had been in Kairava for, if not longer. It didn’t particularly bother him but that could easily change, he was sure. “…We’ve got time.” He commented quietly. “There’s still about three and half months left of our deadline.” He added. Even with the time spent in Kairava there was still quite a bit left over and so long as they didn’t spend a whole month here in Glenys he didn’t think there would be too much a problem with the remaining time used to find the other three relics. “I know you don’t want to get caught up in all of that while we’re here, but it wouldn’t hurt to try and relax some.” He said quietly, of course by ‘that’ he referred to the whole palace business. He didn’t think she needed to stress too much about the prospect of being found out while she was here, not that she was really stressed about it that badly to begin with, but he couldn’t help thinking things would go better for her if she weren’t worried about it. Sometimes you could draw unwanted attention to yourself when you were trying too hard to avoid something.

LaRae continued walking, keeping pretty silent. She did glance over to Nanashi every so often. She had pretty much picked up on the fact that the way she was acting was bothering Nanashi to some extent. It wasn’t too hard to notice, especially since she’d spent so much time around him the past month or so she just wasn’t sure to what extent he was bothered. She hadn’t even thought to try expressing why she was acting the way she was acting, mostly because she didn’t entirely think it was his fault. He really couldn’t help what happened and he certainly couldn’t help that she was afraid of fire like she was. She was trying her best to be as normal as possible around him but she was getting the picture that her façade wasn’t working quite as well as she thought it was. She sighed quietly and lowered her eyes finally. Knowing Nanashi like she did she was starting to think after all the time that had passed it would probably be better just to talk to him about what had happened, if anything it could possibly make one of the two of them feel better, if not both. She just wasn’t entirely sure how to bring that up. She shook her head lightly after a moment, mostly because talking to Nanashi shouldn’t be difficult but unfortunately when he was getting blamed for something no one could prove he did, she just found it difficult to figure out where to start. Not to mention she wasn’t entirely sure that while they were walking was the best time to start getting into the conversation. At the very least she seemed to be a little less uncomfortable with walking closer to him, likely because her mind was elsewhere rather than paying attention to how close she was to him. She finally started to lift her eyes a little, though she still hadn’t looked over at him just yet. “….I’m sorry, I should be the one who apologized…” She said quietly in her native tongue. She didn’t exactly want to draw too much attention to the possible conversation that could come from her apologizing to him so she had thought to make it difficult if not impossible for the others to understand.

Nero hadn’t really bothered to even think about the light dragons that were obviously going to be less than excited about seeing him in their territory. The concern for his own eyes had overpowered anything else that should possibly bother him. Then again, what did it matter about the other dragons if you couldn’t even see them to begin with? He shook his head lightly. This really was going to be a pain in the rear, especially since he knew he needed to be on his best behavior. The last thing he needed to go doing was getting into trouble. He didn’t foresee that as being too much of a problem though. There was something important that needed to be done while they were here and so long as there was that job to do he could at least try and ignore the light dragons. The only thing that could pose a problem for him maintaining his cool would be if another dragon instigated a fight and wouldn’t just drop it. Of course then he’d have little desire to play nice, though he doubted that any light dragon would have the nerve to do something like that. He finally glanced back over at Kanone briefly after he’d put his hand on his shoulder and soon proceeded to tell him not to worry too much. Frankly, he couldn’t help worrying like he was. His eyes were sensitive to light and he didn’t particularly want to go blind in any territory, especially this one. He’d be at one huge disadvantage without his eyes that is unless someone decided to try and hit him with a fist. If someone got close enough to him for that while he wasn’t able to see that really wouldn’t hinder him too badly because he didn’t have to see the person to beat the living daylights out of them once he knew where they were. He finally sighed again quietly. He guessed he might be worrying about it too much but he couldn’t shake the worry. He’d nearly been blinded just by looking at Hikari while in direct sunlight so he could only imagine how much worse it was going to be once they were further into her territory. He could almost honestly say this was like suicide for a dark dragons eyes. He nodded his head slightly after a moment, in response to Kanone’s saying they’d come up with something. That really was the best he could hope for at the moment, that there would actually be something to do to help protect his eyes.

Hikari sighed softly and shook her head a little when he said that there were three and a half months left. "And four territories to go including mind," she said softly, "Aamori had no idea where to start looking for her relic when we got there, I expect someone else if not everyone else is likely going to have the same problem... We're not even exactly sure that we even have that long, that's just a rough estimate..." She sighed and shook her head a little before she looked back to Kyran. "...I am relaxed..." she said in an almost dismissive tone, though if this was her relaxed one probably wouldn't want to see her worked up. She wasn't overly worried about revealing herself, though she didn't want to she knew it was bound to happen, she just didn't want to waste as much time here as they had in Kairave, though considering that Glenys had some of the best healers in Arihen she didn't think that injuries would be too much of an issue....if they even found anything to get injured on.

Nanashi didn't even bother to glance at LaRae again as he walked, at least not until she spoke to him in her native tongue. He slowly raised his head a little and glanced over in her direction silently, just staring at her for a long moment before he lowered his eyes again. "...It's alright..." he responded just as quietly and in the same language. He averted his eyes again and kept his head slightly down. "...I know...I just...I...I don't know what happened either," he responded quietly, "I really don't...I don't know how it happened... I didn't do it, I couldn't have. I've tried to summon fire before and it never happens, I didn't even do anything, so I...I really don't know what happened... I just woke up and there was a burning pillow in my face..." He closed his eyes for a moment, lowering his voice a little more as he continued speaking in her tongue, he really didn't want anyone else to hear him or understand him. "...I know everyone thinks it was my fault...but I swear I didn't do it...or I...I didn't mean to..." He just shook his head almost violently, "...I don't even know..." He crossed his arms a little more tightly across his chest and cracked his eyes open again, looking almost worriedly at the ground. "...I'm sorry...I really am..." he muttered again quietly. Clearly this had been eating at him for a while, though he was trying to stay calm. Even almost a week later it was still pretty upsetting to think about. Honestly as convinced as Hikari and everyone else seemed that it was his fault he'd started to wonder himself whether it was his fault and if it was...well it was a rather scary thought to be capable of sitting things on fire without even trying or knowing how you did it. What id LaRae had been laying on that pillow when it caught fire? She could be seriously hurt right now and it could possibly have been his fault. Right now Nanashi just agave off the appearance of someone wanting to go curl up under a rock and never come out again, and that was about how he felt at the moment.

Kanone smiled a little more when Nero nodded to him in acknowledgment and then just raised his hand again to pat his shoulder lightly. Once he lowered his hand back to his side once again he started to look around a little more. He smiled slightly when he saw more of the crystal clusters sticking out of the ground and an assortment of strange flowers carpeting some areas of the forest. There were tiny purple flowers that had petals arranged in a star shape and a few trees had vines creeping up and wrapping around them with small white flowers that almost resembled morning glories, though they were obviously still open so he doubted that was what they were. He blinked when he spotted one very off looking tree that stood out from the others. The bard was very light colored, pretty much white with just enough gray to make it appear to have silver rings running around the bark. The bark was lighter than all of the trees surrounding it, but it was the leaves that stood out. Rather than green the leaves were a deep crimson red with an almost silver underside and silvery looking veins running through the leaves along the center and around the edges. He stared at the tree for a moment and then glanced back to Nero. He elbowed him lightly and then pointed to the funky looking tree. "Ever seen one of those before?" He hoped if nothing else he could at least distract him from worrying a little. After looking at the tree again he noticed small red berries roughly the size and color of cherries mixed in with the leaves as well, so apparently it was some sort of fruit bearing tree.

Kyran merely walked quietly while he listened to Hikari going on about the time and how Aamori hadn’t even known where to begin looking and how others were likely to not know as well. He was starting to wonder if it was even worthwhile to try and cheer her up, or put her at ease a little. She always seemed to have something to say that was derailed what he had already said. Obviously it was useless to try and make her feel better about the amount of time that was left because she was already showing concern for the other territories; it wasn’t like he could make her forget about all of that. He shook his head after hearing her say that she was relaxed. He wasn’t so sure he could even agree with that. She may say that she was relaxed and could even look it but that didn’t mean her brain wasn’t going a mile a minute and possibly stressing her out. He didn’t bother saying anything for the time being and just returned to looking at the scenery as they passed it, noting what changes there were compared to when they first stepped into the forest. He sighed quietly and glanced over to her for a moment, tempted to open his mouth but he decided against it and rather turned his attention down to Nobu momentarily while he reached down to pet the top of the canines head.

LaRae was a bit relieved after Nanashi had responded, not because he’d said it was alright but because he had responded in the same language. She had suspected he might but there was still the off chance that he’d have spoken so that the others could hear him. She didn’t say anything while he was speaking, mostly because she wanted to hear everything that he had to say before she tried to respond to him. She did glance over at him periodically while he spoke, mostly to see if she could see his face and expression. She did feel bad for making him feel bad and now especially, she wished she hadn’t. Once he had finished she continued to look over at him for a few moments and then averted her eyes a little. She couldn’t say that he didn’t do it the way he did. He was the only one in the room, between the two of them that could possibly be capable of summoning fire. It was harder to believe that she’d be capable of that than him, even if he was a half breed. She didn’t know how it happened any more than he did and unfortunately not knowing how it happened didn’t help anything. She sighed quietly. “…Not knowing how it happened…” She started, continuing to use her name tongue. “…Is one of the bigger reasons it bothers me.” She admitted quietly. “My fear of uncontrollable fire is nearly as bad as my fear of being bound.” She added quietly. “……I know …you didn’t mean to do it, if you did do it…” She told him as she glanced over to him a little. She did at the very least know that if he could summon fire he wouldn’t intentionally try to set her face on fire, or the pillow for that matter. He just wasn’t that cruel or mean spirited. “…I don’t mean …to blame you…” She started again. “…But …between the two of us in the room …it really couldn’t …have been me.” She paused. “I hate to say it’s your fault… I really do… but there just… isn’t a more logical explanation…” She shook her head lightly. “…Not that blaming you is all that logical either…” She muttered quietly. She continued walking silently for a moment or two longer before she started to open her mouth again. “…The fire itself …not knowing where it came from …when it could come again …if it could even happen again …those…” She paused and got a little quieter. “…Those …are what scare me the most right now…” She told him quietly. “…and unfortunately …you’re the only explanation for the fire in general…” She paused. “…I’m not mad at you; I certainly don’t hate you… I’m just… scared and worried… and not sure… what to do…” She said lastly and averted her eyes all together. She had said quite a bit more than she thought she would, but at least this way it was all going to be out there and hopefully clear up any questions or doubts he may have had.

Nero was a bit content walking in silence and lost to his own thoughts though they were less than pleasant thoughts since they left him with nothing but worries. Like usual though that wasn’t going to be easy to read on his face. Although, if you were like Kanone and insisted on badgering him and getting to know him a little it’d probably become fairly easy to read him. He hadn’t been paying too much attention to the surroundings particularly because he didn’t want to be reminded that the crystal structures were getting larger and more frequent. He was usually pretty good about keep an eye on the surroundings; he was usually very observant and liked to keep an eye out in case the group ever picked up a tail. That wasn’t the case this time, they could have someone following them and he wouldn’t even pick up on it. He actually staggered slightly to the side after being elbowed in the side, not because Kanone had gotten him hard but because he’d been caught off guard by the motion. He paused and started at Kanone for a moment and then eyed the thing he’d pointed out while asking if he’d ever seen one of them before. He stared at the rather strange looking tree for only a few moments before shaking his head lightly. “…No.” He answered shortly and then turned his eyes away from the tree and kept walking. He hadn’t ever seen a tree like that before so he could probably say by now that he hadn’t ever seen a forest quite like this one before. Honestly… a tree with white bark and crimson leaves… of all things, that was pretty strange. The brief question and pointing out of the tree had at the very least succeeded in breaking his thought processes and worrying, though he was bound to pick it up again soon.

Hikari didn't bother to speak again since Kyran hadn't said anything more, she just continued to lead them further into the territory. She was antsy, and it was likely very obvious, but she wasn't about to go admitting it to anyone. She really was glad to be back in Glenys, but she really wasn't looking forward to getting back around her people, at least not yet. She was rather enjoying not being a princess for a while, though she knew she could go back to that once they left, or at least she hoped so. She hoped that the way that she lived didn't permanently effect the way that the group saw her. Thus far her being a princess was just a title, one might be very surprised to see just how pampered and fairytale princess-like she really was at home, though it was not at all by her choice. Honestly, Hikari would probably be a real tomboy if she hadn't had some manners and girly habits beaten into her.

Nanashi listened to LaRae in dead silence, the only sound from him was the earth crunching under his feet. He already knew practically everything that LaRae was telling him, well except for the tidbit about her fear of fire being almost as bad as her fear of being bound. He only sighed heavily after she had come to a pause in her speech and didn't bother to day anything. There wasn't a whole lot to add. He knew that it couldn't have been LaRae, it almost had to be him unless it was just some random act of nature and that hardly seemed likely. He did finally glance at her again once she spoke again, this time about the two things that scared her the most. He just stared at her silently for a moment and then looked away. "...Do you think I'm not scared?" he asked quietly, still speaking in her tongue, though his voice had dropped to a bare whisper. He had passed the point of being scared once the possibility of being capable of starting fires accidentally had even entered his mind...he was terrified. He just shook his head weakly and closed his eyes for a moment before he opened his mouth and inhaled as if he was about to say something and then thought better of it and just closed his mouth again. He wanted to say more...he really wanted to tell her just how frightened he was of the whole prospect of starting fires. He knew for certain that he hadn't sneezed, he'd learned to stop himself from doing that for the most part, and he knew that he hadn't summoned it with a spell, so he had no idea what had happened or how to control it. That alone was enough to frighten him. He was terrified that he might hurt someone, and what if more people found out about it? A halfbreed that could summon fire without magic? How would that look? How would people react? What would happen to him? Would LaRae be afraid of him like this forever? Would the others think he was some kind of freak and try to avoid him? He knew that water, earth, and wind dragons really didn't like fire very much and LaRae, Aamori, Celestine, and Kanone probably liked him all the better because he couldn't cause fires, would that change? He had so many things on his mind at the moment he didn't think he could possibly voice everything. He finally opened his eyes again and blinked when he realized that everything was a little blurry. He knew that he felt like curling up in a ball somewhere and just sobbing both out of frustration and fear, but he wasn't about to let himself cry over this. He blinked hard a few more times and then just turned his head slightly away from LaRae and kept his arms crossed tightly over his chest, though by nows his fingers were lightly digging into the sleeves of his coat. He just tried not to look at LaRae since he was well aware that he wans't as composed as he would like to be. He did understand why LaRae was afraid, but he didn't like it. He had gotten rather spoiled with always having her around him, he wanted to keep things that way and that was a little difficult when she always seemed to want to keep a few feet between them...but aside from that, the last thing that he ever wanted was for her to be frightened of him.

Kanone tilted his head a little when Nero staggered after he elbowed him and then sighed softly. He could definitely tell after that that something was eating at Nero. He hadn't elbowed him hard at all and Nero didn't seem the type that was easily startled. He half smiled when he said that he'd never seen anything like that tree before and then shrugged a little before he continued moving after him again. He glanced over to him and then smiled warmly before he slapped a hand down on his shoulder again lightly. "Lighten up," he said simply, "Come on, look around a little...it's kind of interesting. You've never been here before, have you? It's not that bad yet, may as well look while you can see." He gave him another warm smiled and then patted his shoulder again before he lowered his hand, "Come on..." He looked ahead and noticed the others were starting to get away from them a bit, probably more because he kept stopping and pointing at things than anything. He just back-stepped and got behind Nero before placing a hand on each shoulder blade and pushing him forward gently, just to get him going a little faster. "We're getting left!"
