Kyran sighed softly after her mention of not really knowing much about the nutritional value of most foods and that she just ate them. Unfortunately he didn't know much of the nutritional value either, he just knew that vegetables and fruits were supposed to be good for you and he had only heard little bits and pieces of uses of certain food from his uncle. Sadly it wasn't any information that really helped half of the time. Or at least it barely helped now. He knew carrots were good in iron along with others he was sure but his uncle had never really told him how to serve those to someone. Surely you could screw up the value of the food by the way you served it. He had kind of been a bit off in thought so he didn't really notice right away how close Hikari had gotten until after she had taken his hand and then placed the other at his face. He stared down at her for a few moments, even after she had kissed his cheek. He was going to ask what that had been for but he didn't bother once she had started to say that he could go stay with Nobu for awhile. He glanced towards the apple tree briefly himself once she had said that he could take one or two and see if Nobu was hungry. That was quite the appealing offer but Nobu had Celestine with him already, he didn't need two overly worried people hovering over him. He sighed again quietly after Hikari had wrapped her arms around him tightly and began nuzzling her head against his shoulder. He lowered his head down and into the crook of her neck as he wrapped his arms around her. He hadn't really noticed that it was showing, just how much Nobu's being injured was bothering him. He guessed if anyone in the group was really going to notice it would be Hikari, or at least he hoped she was the only one to really notice. After a few moments he finally lifted his head a little. "He's already got Celestine with him, Aamori too, that's plenty." He said quietly. "I also think I can be of more use here and helping to make sure everyone else is alright." He paused. "...It's just hard not to worry about him." He said as he started to straighten up a little and release her.
Aamori stared over at Celestine for a few moments after she had given him the options that she saw and sighed quietly after listening to him. There really wasn't going to be a way to put those bandages on him unless they moved him and either way he was likely to wake up or be awake for the process. It seemed like Celestine was a little against any of the options that she had rattled off so that left them with doing nothing about wrapping Nobu up. She lowered her eyes down to the gashes and eyed them for a moment or two before looking back up at Celestine after he had said that he didn't know. "...It shouldn't hurt anything to leave them off, for now." She paused. "...But Hikari would probably know better then me. I'm not really that knowledgeable in this department." She said quietly. "I suppose we could wait and see if he wakes up and if he does we can try and get him wrapped up then." She paused. "...Other then that I don't really have any ideas on what to do about it."
LaRae cracked an eye open a little and tired to look over at Kamaria after hearing her say that she hadn't known that Hikari had taken up healing. "...She seems pretty good at it." She commented. "She healed me at the Festival over a month ago and has been doing it since. I'm not sure when she first started though. I just kind of thought she had been doing it for a long while." She said quietly. She smiled weakly. "I think we have about as much good luck as we do bad." She shrugged lightly. "Besides her ability to heal a good portion of the people in the group also know basic first aid. Or well... I know Aamori does and I think Nero might too. I know a little, not much, but a little." She paused. "We try to take care of each other and I think we all know that Hik..." She sighed almost heavily. "...Selenity... can't always heal everything. She got some stuff from Kyran's uncle, I think it was... it helps her with her healing so she doesn't have to use as much energy or something like that..." She paused. "She's patched up Nanashi quite a few times from wounds that should've killed him with the help of that stuff." She lifted her hand and shifted the gel pack a little. "...I hope we continue to be lucky enough to find help along the way as well..." She said quietly. She wasn't sure how that luck was going to hold out in the next few territories. She knew her own was liable to be a pain in the ass in the help department since no one really liked her to begin with. Then... Shyama... they didn't like anyone, or at least she assumed that and she didn't even want to think about the fire clan's territory. She was going to be so uncomfortable there.

Hikari raised her head slightly once Kyran had lowered his into the crook of her neck and then leaned her head over against his lightly, letting him hold onto her her for now. She raised her head a little when she felt him move his and looked over to him as best as she could. She sighed soflty when he said that he already had Celestine and Aamori with him and that he could be of more use making sure everyone else was alright. She just started to rub his back a little until he said that it was hard not to worry about him. She nodded her head weakly and gave him another tight squeeze. "...I know," she responded softly before she lowered her arms again. She tried to give him another small smile and then shook her head weakly. "...Come on...why don't you help me figure out what's ready to be picked? I'm pretty sure she meant for us to get something a little more than for just Nanashi to eat...she does have eight people over now, after all...er...nine," she corrected, forgetting momentarily about Reyes. She reached down to Kyran and squeezed his hands gently. "You can still get Nobu some apples...and if you want, find something for Celestine...you know how he is about food...Nanashi might like one, too... I think that may help a little, maybe...Well I know they're good for you..." She sighed, "...Maybe I should have brought a basket..." she muttered quietly to herself as she glanced back through the gate again.
Celestine sighed softly when she said that she didn't think it would hurt anything to leave them off for now. "...It won't...," he responded quietly. He didn't exercise the knowledge often, but his mother than been a healer and she had taught him a lot before she died. Of course he'd forgotten a lot of it, but he remembered about as much as he'd forgotten. "...So long as she's not moving around too much...and so long as there's no dirt in them..." He stroked Nobu's fur again gently, "...It may help to let them dry out and scab over a little...before the bandages go back on anyway... He isn't bleeding too much... that may keep them from sticking later..." So long as they remained clean the bandages weren't entirely necessary...they just helped to keep everything out of the wounds.
Kamaria again listened as LaRae explained about Selenity's healing abilities and how they were all able to take care of one another. She smiled weakly, at least glad to know that Selenity wasn't entirely on her own when it came to taking care of everyone. She chuckled softly when the girl started to call her 'Hikari' again. "...You can call her Hikari around me if that is easier to remember...I will know who you mean," she said simply. She sighed softly when she mentioned Selenity patching up Nanashi several times from things that should have killed him. Her ears laid back a little as she glanced toward the stairs. "Poor dear, it sounds like he's had a rough time of this trip..." If he'd had that many wounds that should have killed him, she honestly hardly wanted to think about what they were doing on this trip. She really didn't know much of anything about it, she only knew that the princess had gone on a trip and there was no telling when she would be back. She hadn't realized the trip was so dangerous.

Kyran let out a quiet sigh when Hikari responded with simply 'I know'. He wasn't quite sure what he expected to hear from her but that was shorter and simpler then anything he may have thought she would say. Then again... how was one supposed to respond to him in this situation? He gave another sigh. He really did have more things to be doing then letting his worries get to him and he kind of hated the fact that it was even showing. He nodded his head a little after she had said to come on, and help figure out what was ready to be picked. He nodded again after her mentioning that Kamaria probably meant for them to get a little more then just for Nanashi since there were so many people to feed. Honestly... food wasn't even on his list of things to do. He wasn't exactly hungry right now even if he hadn't eaten in a little while just like everyone else. He tried to smile a little once Hikari had squeezed his hand but it probably looked forced. He had already thought about grabbing a couple apples to set aside for Nobu. He doubted that the canine was in any shape to eat at the moment but at least if he got the apples now they would be there for when he was hungry and could actually eat. "...I'll pick some once we're done in here..." He said quietly. Had he not been standing close to her he probably wouldn't have heard what she said about a basket. He hadn't even thought about that before or else he probably would have asked or held out on getting the water for the dogs. He sighed softly and glanced around a little. They were going to need something to carry everything in that they picked. He finally glanced back to Hikari after a moment or two. "...Do you think a shirt would work?" He asked. He did have his vest still and he'd gotten a new shirt from that woman in Kairava and of the two he was fairly certain his shirt would probably make a decent enough basket.
Aamori looked at Celestine and simply nodded her head a little after he had responded about leaving the bandages off for now. She didn't really see leaving the bandages off as a bad thing and she didn't see Nobu getting up and moving too much any time soon. If anything Nobu actually kind of looked like he was comfortable and resting well, which was a good thing. "...That aside..." She paused. "How are you feeling? Kanone had a bad headache when he woke up after being hit too." She asked quietly. "Just because Nobu is hurting... doesn't mean you should overlook yourself." She added.
LaRae smiled weakly after the woman said that she could call Hikari, Hikari and that she would know who she meant. That was going to make talking a little easier, she just wished that were going to be the case with everyone else. Unfortunately she knew she wasn't going to be so lucky as to be able to refer to her by Hikari the whole time they were here. She was a princess after all and the princesses name wasn't Hikari. "...I think rough life more clearly depicts it. As far as I know he still gets banged up without this trip..." She muttered quietly.

Hikari laid her ears back a little when Kyran sighed after her response. She honestly didn't know what else to say right now. She did know, she understood perfectly well how hard it was not to worry, especially when there was nothing she could do to make it any better. She was worried about Nobu as well, but she couldn't heal him so there wasn't much she could do for him, and so long as he was being taken care of, there wasn't a lot she could do. She could tell him he would be fine, but she was pretty sure he already knew that, so saying it almost seemed pointless. She was trying to be comforting, but there was only so much that she could do right now. She just continued to hold onto Kyran's hands for now and glanced back to him when he spoke. She nodded when he said that he would get Nobu some apples and then tilted her head a little when she asked of a shirt would work. "...Well...I suppose, but I can go get a basket, I don't mind," she smiled weakly, "I wouldn't want you to get your shirt dirty..." After all they were going to be pulling some things out of the ground so they were bound to be dirty. She slowly released his hands and then tip-toed up again to kiss his cheek one more time. "...Kyran, I really don't mind if you'd rather go take a break and keep an eye on Nobu... You could send Aamori to help me pick out a few things." She placed her hand on his arm again and gently started to rub her hand up and down slightly. She didn't want to make him feel like he had to be helping her. Several of the others were fully capable of picking vegetables, and she wasn't sure whether he would be better off doing this or just sitting with Nobu and Celestine.
Celestine glanced back to Aamori briefly when she asked how he was feeling. He just stared at her for a moment and then sighed heavily and lowered his eyes again. "...I'm fine," he said quietly. He did have a bad headache and was still a little dizzy, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. He felt a little queasy as well, but considering that he hadn't eaten in a couple of days, he wasn't too worried about getting sick. He didn't see a point in complaining about not feeling well, there wasn't much more that could be done for him than there was Nobu, or at least he didn't think so.
Kamaria sighed softly when LaRae said that Nanashi got banged up even without this trip. Somehow she could have imagined that. "...I'm afraid that is how it seems to work in the world today..." she said softly. "...He is a dragon half, isn't he?" She was pretty sure that he was, but she hadn't been too sure about LaRae before, so she could have been mistaken again. If he was a dragon half, it was no surprise that he tended to get banged up a lot...some people just had no tolerance for people who were different.

Kyran shook his head slightly after she had said that she could go get a basket and then added that she didn't want his shirt to get dirty. "It's alright, I wouldn't have offered it if I didn't mind a little dirt." He paused. "Besides, I can wash it off once we're done since we're somewhere like this. It's no big deal." He told her. He stared down at her for a moment after she had released his hands and then smiled a little after she had kissed his cheek again. He listened to her quietly as she told him again that he could go keep an eye on Nobu. Part of him really wanted nothing more then to do that and part of him didn't. If he went to sit with Nobu and keep an eye on him he was liable to break down and become completely useless until after Nobu was completely better. After a moment of thought he shook his head once more. "...Now it sounds like you're just trying to get rid of me." He joked weakly. "I would like to help you, really." He said quietly. He did want to help her, especially since he figured time like this was going to be very limited with her for awhile once they got moving again. Or well... for that matter just back at the house. He didn't think it was proper to affectionate and so completely close and informal with the princess. He had no idea what Kamaria's feelings would even be on the matter so he didn't particularly want to do or say anything around her that could make her believe that there was anything between her princess and himself. He lifted his hands up a little and started to unbutton his vest and slip out of it. He draped his vest over part of the gate and then started to remove his shirt. Once he removed it he held it out to her with one hand and rubbed his other over the mark on his chest. He tended to forget he even had that, or the one on his back until he looked down and saw it and then remembered everything about it.
Aamori sighed heavily after hearing him answer with 'I'm fine'. That was almost always the answer that she, or anyone got. It kind of annoyed her that she knew he shouldn't be feeling well and he answered the way he did. She really had hoped that he would've answered her more honestly especially after she made mention that he shouldn't overlook himself just because Nobu was hurting. After a moment she shook her head a little. "...Why can't you just answer me truthfully..." She mumbled. "I wouldn't have bothered asking if I hadn't wanted to know or was willing to settle with 'I'm fine' as your answer." She said quietly.
LaRae sighed softly when the woman said that she was afraid that was how it seemed to work in the world today. Sadly that was true. "...Yeah, he is." She answered when she had asked if Nanashi was a dragon half. "Unlike me, he's the real thing." She commented quietly. "I get treated just about the same way he does up until others notice the stumps... so I know a little what it is like to be him... and well... it bites to be honest."

Hikari smiled weakly when Kyran joked that she sounded like she trying to get rid of him. "...You know better," she said softly as she raised her hand back to his face again. She shook her head weakly and then lowered her hand a little once he'd said that he wanted to help her. "Alright," she said quietly. She released his hand again when he went to remove his vest so that he wasn't limited to using one hand, plus she had to let go anyway so he could get out of it. She stood back a little while he removed his shirt and then reached over to take it, though of course upon catching sight of those scars her ears laid back a little and she sighed softly. She still hated seeing those scars on him, it only reminded her that he'd let himself get hurt to save her from something she was fairly certain she could have avoided in the first place. It didn't bother her that he had scars there, it was just the fact that they reminded her of him getting so badly hurt to help her, and honestly, she'd love to just erase that memory. "...I still wish you would hold still and let me get rid of those..." she muttered quietly after he'd run his hand over them. She glanced away again and then turned her attention back to the gate again to look inside and try to figure out what else they needed.
Celestine looked back to Aamori again after she sounded so annoyed that he hadn't answering her the way that she wanted. He gave her an almost annoyed look himself and then sighed irritably. "Fine, since it matters so much... I have a migraine... My head feels like someone's hitting it with a mallet every time my heart beats, speaking hurts, light hurts, sound hurts, I'm tired, dizzy, cranky, and I feel like I'm about to vomit every time I raise my head," he said bluntly. "...There, now you know... What does it help?" He lowered his head again and just sighed softly as he raised a hand to rub his temples a little. He knew that there wasn't really anything Aamori or anyone could do to make him feel any better, which was why he didn't feel like whining about how he felt. He was well aware that it would go away in time, or at least later on after the sedative completely wore off. Sleeping might help, but he didn't know if he could get to sleep right now. He didn't particularly want to leave Nobu long enough for that.
Kamaria sighed softly when LaRae said that Nanashi was the real thing. She shook her head weakly when she said that she knew how it felt to be treated like a halfbreed. "...I can't even imagine..." she said softly. "I don't understand people nowadays... though it's been like that for a long while, I suppose, even back when I was a girl, and things have only gotten worse sense then..." She sighed softly and shook her head a little. "People make me ashamed to be of the same race at times. He seems like such a sweet boy or...well at leas the looks that way when he's sleeping," she said with a soft chuckle.

Kyran continued to run his hand over the mark on his chest for a moment or two even after Hikari had said again, that she wished he would hold still and let her get rid of the marks. He stared down at the mark briefly before sighing quietly. "...I know." He responded. He knew she wanted to remove them but they didn't really bother him that much and he didn't think she needed waste her energy on something like that. They weren't causing him any pain or anything so removing them would strictly be because they didn't belong there and probably because she hated seeing them. He sighed softly and reached over to pick up his vest so that he could start working it on once again. He'd never seen the mark on his back but he knew it was there and he just wanted to cover both of them up as much as possible. "...Well, lets go ahead see what we can pick." He said hoping the topic of the marks wasn't going to come up again.
Aamori probably would have appreciated his response if he hadn't seemed so annoyed with answering. The only thing that she had assumed may have been bothering him was his head, anything else she couldn't really be sure so she had to hear it from him in order to know. She stared over at him and sighed. "I only asked because I was concerned and I care... I'm also not a mind reader so I can't answer that question myself." She said quietly. "...and it helps me to feel a little better since I'm not left guessing what's wrong." She added. She thought briefly about getting up to sit next to him, or just be close enough that she could place her hands on his head to try and give him some relief but she didn't really want to crowd him considering he was with both Nobu and Esen and then now that she was thinking about it her hands would need to be washed. They'd been stained at least twice now with a little blood and really did need to be cleaned off. Oh... then of course there was still Kanone which she had said if his head was still bothering him she didn't mind rubbing his temples for him. She sighed quietly and rubbed her hands against her legs for a moment before looking back over at him. "I really hadn't asked to mean or anything..." She really didn't think her asking had warranted him to respond the way he did, but at least he responded.
LaRae tried really hard not to chuckle right along with the woman after her last comment though she failed miserably. She lifted her hand up to fix the gel pack since it had slipped while she laughed. "...I think most people look that way when they sleep. Or at least a good majority." She paused. "But I do agree... and he is sweet. He's really nice and considerate... and frankly... with the way people treat him I just don't see how he can be the way he is." She said quietly. "...I've already gotten into plenty of arguments or fights because people pick on him and he doesn't even try to defend himself. He just... doesn't want to hurt anyone... not even someone who's been hurting him." She sighed quietly. "He doesn't really even want to learn to fight or defend himself with a weapon because that means that he would end up hurting someone..." She paused. "...A lot of people in this world don't deserve his kindness..."

Hiakri shook her head a little when Kyran just said 'I know' in response to her comment. She knew he knew, which almsot annoyed her since he still wouldn't let her do anything about them. She really did hate looking at them, since she'd been where when they were inflicted. She didn't even look while he started to put on his vest again, and once he'd gotten it on she just glanced back to him after he said to go ahead and see what they could pick. "...Alright," she said with a soft sigh before she stepped back through the gate again and started down the little path toward the section where the carrots were planted. She was pretty sure that they would be taking some of those, as far as she could tell they looked ready enough. She really wasn't entirely sure what all to grab, though she supposed it would probably be best to just get a little of several things and see what they could come up with for some kind of dinner. She had every intention of paying Kamaria back for all of this at a slightly later date, but right now she was just trying to figure out what to gather up.
Celestine sighed again softly, or more exhaled heavily though his nose. "...It doesn't matter, Aamori..." he said quietly, his voice almost holding a hint of a whine to it. He didn't feel like debating, he would be happy with complete and utter silence for a while. "...I don't see how knowing...that I feel like crap...makes you feel any better... Besides...there really isn't much anyone can do about any of that, it'll go away on it's own... Whining about it isn't going to help, either..." He didn't like to complain, he didn't see that it helped anything and only got on everyone's nerves when people complained that they were hurt or not feeling well when no one could do anything about it, especially when there were others in worse condition. He just went back to stroking Nobu's ears again and then lowered his head a little more. He sighed softly and then shifted positions very slowly before he leaned away from Esen a little so that she could go get a drink or something if she wanted to and didn't have to sit there holding him up. He moved carefully, placing his hand on the ground to steady himself before he slowly started to lay down on his side, folding his arm beneath his head as he stretched out beside Nobu. He really didn't care if he was on the ground or not, he was just tired of sitting up and considering that Aamori already knew how bad he felt, he guessed it didn't really matter if it showed a little by his laying down. once hew as on his side with his head nestled on his arm he nuzzled closer to Nobu and then closed his eyes while his fingers continued to stroke Nobu's ears gently.
Kamaria smiled a bit when LaRae chuckled and shook her head a little when she answered that most people looked that way when they slept. "Yes, I'm sure most do," she agreed. She listened quietly as LaRae explained how Nanashi was, and she couldn't help but smile weakly. "...Well...if only the whole world were like that boy..." she said softly. She shook her head a little. "...Some people are able to learn from the actions of others..." she said softly, "If he knows how it feels to be hurt, why would he wish to inflict that pain on someone else? There is still that golden rule that so many seem to have forgotten over the years, perhaps he's taken that to heart." She sighed softly, "...Maybe someday his kindness will pay off...."

Kyran watched her step back through the gate after saying 'alright' and then started to follow after her, though he hung back slightly so that he wasn't right on top of her. He kind of hated when the topic of the marks on his chest and back were brought up because his not letting her do anything about them always seemed to dampen the mood a little afterward. He really just couldn't see letting her or anyone else for that matter waste their energy on something so insignificant. He followed her towards the carrots and cast his glance down briefly at the different things as he walked. Unfortunately he wasn't really sure how to even tell what was ready to pick and what wasn't. There may have been a garden outside of his own house but he certainly didn't plant the stuff or take care of it. That was all his sisters doing. "...I don't know how much help I'll be, to be honest." He started. "I have no idea how to tell what is ready to be picked and what isn't..." He said quietly. "...I can carry everything though." He added and then smiled weakly. Right about now he was kind of wishing that LaRae had been feeling better because she would probably be perfect for this job. Not only could she cook but she was an earth dragon so she should have some knowledge of stuff like this, right?
Aamori sighed quietly after listening to him. She couldn't say his response surprised her, he always seemed to be like that, or well... respond in that way. She didn't particularly feel like arguing with him about anything since he didn't feel well and frankly there probably was no point. He was going to feel how he wanted to feel about the matter and she was going to feel the way she wanted to feel. If there hadn't been so much going on, well, with Nobu being hurt, Celestine, Kanone and LaRae not feeling well, she probably would have argued this. That was pretty much her usual response or so she thought. "I won't argue it with you..." She started quietly after he had laid down. "But just know that I am happy you told me how you're feeling even if you do feel like crap and I also don't think you were whining at all. You answered my question and that was it and even so, people are entitled to a little whining when they don't feel good." She told him quietly. She wasn't looking for him to respond to her, she was merely stating her opinion and leaving it at that. She sighed again quietly and then shifted before getting to her feet. "...I'm going to wash my hands..." She told him keeping her voice kind of low since his head was bothering him and then started to head up onto the porch and over towards the door.
LaRae listened to the woman quietly. "...I think I'm a little on the fence on the whole causing others pain." She started. "If someone hurts you first and the matter can't be resolved with words then I don't really see why you shouldn't be allowed to defend yourself even if that means hitting the other person back." She shrugged a little. "I can kind of see it from both points but when you're a dragon half dealing with full blooded dragons there isn't any way to resolve a matter unless you defend yourself... or well... sit and take it like Nanashi does..." She sighed softly. "When it comes to other dragons and him... he's like a punching bag... he just lets them beat him up and unfortunately the whole 'playing dead' thing just doesn't work. Even if you lay there and don't do anything they'll still stomp you into the ground." She thought about it for a moment longer before speaking again. "...I guess since I met a real dragon half I've just grown a little more defensive when it comes to them? I really hate seeing anyone beat him up..." She sat there again for a few moments before realizing that she didn't know this woman's name, or well, hadn't heard it that she could remember. "...I feel so silly asking now that we've talked like this..." She paused with a quiet sigh. "...But what's your name?"

Hikari smiled slightly at Kyran and then sighed softly as she knelt down by the carrots. "Well, I guess we'll just have to look and see what looks eatable," she said simply. She looked over the carrots for a moment, "But I'm pretty sure these are ready."
Celestine just sighed softly as he listened to Aamori. He didn't care if he was entitled to whine, it didn't accomplish anything, and he didn't like to do it. Mostly, that was due to the fact that he got irritated when people whines that they were hurt and tried to milk it, and he didn't want anyone giving him dirty looks for it. He raised his hand weakly when Aamori said that she was going to go wash her hands and then waved her off without a word before he laid his hand back to rest on Nobu's head and started to scratch at his ears again.
Kamaria sighed softly when LaRae went on to explain her views, but she did understand. "I would hardly expect anyone to sit and take such a beating," she said softly, "...That's terrible, it's hard to believe he would put up with that." She could definitely see why LaRae would be so defensive, she likely would be as well if she saw someone hurting someone like him for no good reason other than they were of mixed species. She smiled a little when asked for her name and then chuckled softly. "Oh dear, here I've done it again. My name is Kamaria, it is nice to meet you LaRae."
[and for the love of god...TIME SKIP! I can't take picking carrots! XD]
It took roughly three hours to get all of the vegetables gathered and cleaned and decide on what to make for dinner. Kamaria luckily did have a large freezer full of meats and other assortments, so they were able to put together a halfway decent dinner. Hikari made a sad attempt at making dinner, but as expected she wasn't a very accomplished cook and Kamaria wound up shooing her off and taking over at the stove. Kanone and Celestine had both managed to fall asleep where they had been left, Celestine stretched beside Nobu and Kanone sitting up against the house. As night was falling, Kyiri had taken to pouncing at lightning bugs in the yard while Esen just stayed close to Celestine, though she had taken advantage of the water that had been put out for them.
By the time it was all said and done, Kamaria had put together a nice chicken stir fry with carrots, leeks, green peppers, onions, and broccoli with noodles for everyone but Nanashi. She had prepared the liver from the chicken for him along with some raw broccoli and carrots and a few apple slices. She also had a glass of the juice she had referred to earlier all set up for him on a tray, she was just waiting for someone he was a little more familiar with to take it up to him. She had also managed to make some biscuits and had some strawberry preserves set back that she'd made a little while back.

During the time that it took for the food to be cooked most everyone had taken to relaxing. LaRae had managed to fall asleep where she was sitting on the couch with the gel pack still on her head, though it really hadn't taken that long for her to go to sleep once there wasn't something to talk about. Aamori had gotten her hands cleaned off and had taken to sitting in the living area while LaRae was asleep. She had wanted to give Celestine some space since he had seemed a little cranky and when he was like that it didn't take a whole lot for them to get into a fight. Kyran had lingered in the kitchen, mostly because that had been where Hikari was. He had taken a moment to clean his shirt off however, once it had been given back to him. By this time he had already cleaned it off and had put it back on. Nero and Reyes were both still outside sitting on the one side of the house. Nero wasn't asleep but Reyes was and unfortunately for him, Reyes was asleep curled up at his side and using him as a pillow. Nobu was still asleep and hadn't moved much at all from where he had laid down. Lastly, Zale, he had tried to lay still for most of the time. He had gotten up for water briefly and laid back down, at least until he had seen Kyiri start after the fireflies. Of course he wanted to chase them too, so he did.
Kyran without having to be asked took the tray that Kamaria had prepared for Nanashi once it was ready. He had planned to take that up to him to begin with. He started for the stairs and really hoped that it wasn't going to take too much to get him to eat, even if chicken liver didn't seem that appealing. At least there were plenty of other veggies and things for him to eat? He scaled the stairs easily enough and went to the bedroom he had put Nanashi in earlier in the day. Rather then take the tray straight over to the bed he walked it towards the dresser to set it down so he could wake Nanashi. He would have tried balancing the tray on a nightstand but a dresser had more surface space. He then moved over to the bed and knelt down beside it before reaching out to shake Nanashi slightly. "...Hey, Nanashi? You need to wake up."

Nanashi had of course gone back to sleep shortly after being left alone, though now that he was on a comfortable bed he was sleeping a little more deeply than he had been outside. When Kyran started to shake him he didn't even respond at first, but after he spoke he groaned softly, sounding as if he'd rather be doing anything that waking up right now. He tried to nuzzle his head into the pillow a little more, but after just a few seconds he finally cracked open his eyes slowly and rolled back onto his back to look at Kyran. He blinked a few times, trying to clear the sleep from his eyes and then tried to focus on Kyran. "...What's wrong?" he asked quietly. He didn't know who he was under the impression something was wrong just because he was being woken up, but he only vaguely even remembered being told someone would be up to check on him. He pulled his arms back a little and tried his best to sit up a bit. He was feeling just a tiny bit better, but not by much, and he was still weak, his arms didn't entirely seem to want to support him, but he did manage to at least get to his elbows and leaned back partially against the head of the bed with some effort, though that alone apparently tired him out a little as he was already breathing heavily again, though not as badly as before, so apparently a good few hours of sleep had helped a little at least.
Hikari had stayed around the kitchen area, mostly to help Kamaria get everything set up once she was finished cooking. She smiled slightly when Kyran took it upon himself to take the tray up to Nanashi. She had been planning to do so herself once she was finished, but she was kind of glad that he went ahead. She was fairly certain of all of them, Kyran and LaRae were the ones he was the most comfortable with, so she liked to tend to leave Nanashi mostly to those two. Once Kyran had gone upstairs she turned and started over to the back door since most of the group was still outside. She smiled slightly whens he saw that most everyone was asleep and then shook her head weakly. She proceeded off of the porch and around to the side of the house where Nero and Reyes had taken up, assuming at least one of them would be away. She thought she may give the sleepers a few extra seconds and get the ones that were already awake. She smiled slightly as she came up to the two of them and looked down at Reyes. "Aww...haha she's so cute." She shook her head a little and then looked back to Nero with a slight smile. "...Dinner's ready, you two can come in and eat." She tilted her head a little and then sighed as she knelt down in front of him. "...You two really didn't have to stay outside all day...you were invited inside along with everyone else, you know," she reminded him gently. She did feel a little bad for the both of them since she was well aware of how being here could make them uneasy. She smiled weakly and reached over to place her hand on Nero's knee lightly. "Hey, um...I know you're not too crazy about being here, and I can't say I blame you, but...try not to worry too much, okay? I don't take well to people harassing my friends, so you should be just fine." With that she stood up and started to move back around to the front of the house, not really giving him much time to come back with a smart remark, since she was fairly certain that was about all that she'd be granted. She didn't know Nero well, but she knew him well enough. He wasn't going to admit to anything, and he wasn't going to claim her as a friend, but she didn't really care. She just wanted to try and put his mind at ease a little.
Kamaria was just finishing putting the stir fry on some plates and setting them along her small kitchen table. There was no way that everyone would be able to sit down at the table to eat, so she was just setting everything up there so people could get what they wanted. She also had the preserves set out with a spoon and the biscuits on another plate beside the others so that if anyone wanted a biscuit they could get it. She glanced into the living room and smiled slightly. "...Aamori, is it?" she asked as she glanced over to the water dragon. "Everyone may start helping themselves," she told her with a smile. She would let Aamori wake LaRae if she wished. "I'm afraid there isn't much room at the table, so you will have to find somewhere else to sit."

Kyran pulled his hand back once it appeared that Nanashi was starting to wake up and then continued to kneel where he was and wait patiently. He shook his head very lightly when he heard him ask what was wrong. "Nothing's wrong." He paused. "It's just time for you to try and eat, even if you aren't hungry." He added and watched as he tried to sit himself up and managed to partially though it looked like that took quite a bit of effort. That didn't really surprise him that much considering everything that had happened. "Can you sit up all the way, or at least enough to hold the tray in your lap?" He asked. "If you need help sitting up the rest of the way, I don't mind helping, especially if it makes it a little easier on you." He added with a slight nod before he started to get to his feet. He was hoping that Nanashi would at least be a good sport about trying to eat. He could imagine he wasn't that hungry or not in the mood to shovel food into his mouth... but he did still need to eat to help get his strength back. Not to mention the faster he finished up in here with Nanashi the sooner he could get downstairs to eat something himself.
Nero barely lifted his head at first when he heard someone coming around the corner of the house. He did look up finally when he heard Hikari's little remark about Reyes being 'so cute'. Of course the first thought of his own was 'cute my ass' but he didn't say a word. He nodded his head a little after she had said that dinner was ready and that they could come inside and eat. He was going to let Reyes sleep just a little longer before waking him for dinner but that thought went aside once he noticed that Hikari had knelt down rather then gone back inside. He knew that he and Reyes didn't have to stay outside like they did, or at least he had assumed it would've been alright for them to go inside but he didn't particularly want to go inside the woman's house to begin with. It wasn't because he automatically hated the woman or anything, it was more because... well.. maybe it was a couple different reasons. For one he didn't want to go in the woman's house unless it was honestly alright with her letting dark dragons in her house. As it was right now he figured they'd only been invited inside because they were here with Hikari. Another reason he didn't really want to go inside was because she was a light dragon. What light dragon, in their right mind would want dark dragons in their house and what would the rest of the populace think of the woman if they ever found out that she housed a couple of enemy dark dragons? It really was just easier on everyone if the two of the stayed outside, at least in his opinion and out here they really weren't hurting anything. He stared over at Hikari when she touched his knee and then listened to her without a word. He didn't really say anything after she had spoken and just watched as she got up and walked away. He wasn't even sure how to respond to that though the only thought that had run through his mind was that it was practically impossible for a light dragon and a dark dragon to actually be friends. It just wasn't going to happen, not necessarily because the two dragons didn't want to be friends but because their clans wouldn't allow it. Now, that didn't mean he actually wanted to be friends with her, it was just a thought.
Aamori lifted her eyes when she heard her name and stared over at the woman as she said that everyone could start helping themselves. She nodded her head a little and started to get up from the chair she was sitting in. She was pretty hungry and she didn't mind finding somewhere else to sit and eat. She'd probably end up going outside to eat since that was where Celestine was. She stretched a little and started to make her way over towards the kitchen but paused and went to the couch to try and wake LaRae up. She set her hand on her shoulder and shook her a little. "Hey.. LaRae, dinner is done." She said to her and waited for a response out of her. She smiled a little after LaRae had removed the gel pack on her head and looked up at her. "You can help yourself." She added since that was what the woman had said. Once she had removed her hand from LaRae's shoulder she started to walk towards the kitchen and headed for the table since that was where the food had been laid out. She smiled down at the food for a moment before glancing to the woman. "It looks wonderful." She commented before she started to reach for a plate though she paused after inspecting it for a moment. There was chicken in it... that meant Celestine wasn't going to eat it. She sighed softly and grabbed two plates from the table before stepping over to the counter to set them down. She also grabbed a couple of forks and almost immediately went to carefully picking the chicken out of the one bowl and setting it in the other. At least then maybe Celestine would at least try to eat it. There wasn't anything animal about noodles and vegetables.
LaRae sat on the couch for a few moments after Aamori had woken her. She wanted to try and wake herself up a little more before she tried to move to the kitchen. She put the gel pack on the coffee table next to the glass she had from earlier and then finally started to stand up. She was only a little wobbly in the process of getting to her feet but other then that she seemed to be alright. She figured that it must have been because she hadn't been on her feet for a little while. She didn't bother with stretching even though she felt stiff, she didn't want to try that and fall on her face or something. She started for the kitchen and was rather surprised to find that the motion wasn't really difficult and she didn't think she was swaying or anything. She appeared to have her motion back to normal now and her head wasn't hurting as bad. It was only now a dull pain that was more annoying then actually hurting her. Her stomach growled rather loudly once she had gotten closer to the table and gotten a whiff of dinner. She embarrassingly placed a hand over her stomach and continued over to the table to grab a plate and a fork, oh and one of the biscuits. She smiled a bit and looked over a Kamaria. "...I wish I had been feeling better earlier, I would have loved to help cook." She said quietly and then glanced towards the living room. "...Do you mind if I eat in there?" She asked. She figured it was better to ask then to just assume. Some people didn't like food in their living rooms and she just wasn't sure with Kamaria.

Nanashi just blinked when Kyran said that it was time to try and eat, and already looked like he could have just rolled back over and gone back to sleep. His stomach churned at the very thought of food, and he frankly didn't even want to try it, but he didn't complain. He didn't want to cause anyone anymore problems by being difficult. Once Kyran had asked him if he could sit up all the way he sighed softly but then tried his best to push himself up the rest of the way. It hardly seemed worth the effort to him, but after a couple of moments he made it up, though it took him using his legs as well to manage sitting up entirely, and one he was up he practically fell back against the headboard breathing heavily. He probably could have asked Kyran for help, but he really didn't want to. As far as he was concerned, Kyran had helped him enough, and he hated being forced to depend on someone else to do things for him. After all, until he'd met this little group of people who actually cared, if he had to depend on someone else then it usually cost him later or he just didn't get help at all. After he was finally up and had caught his breath again he glanced up to Kyran again and tilted his head a little. "...How's this?" he asked quietly.
Hikari really hadn't expected much of a response from Nero anyway, so when he didn't respond she wasn't surprised. She just made her way back around to the front of the house again and placed her hand on Kanone's shoulder, giving him a light shake. "Kanone...dinner," she said with a slight smile, chuckling as his ears perked at the word 'dinner'.
Kanone was still sleeping pretty decently up until Hikari went and shook his shoulder. He just groaned when she said his name, though the word 'dinner' caught his attention. His stomach really wasn't bothering him anymore, and considering that he hadn't eaten since...whenever it had been, he was pretty glad to hear that word. He finally raised is head off of his knees and looked up to Hikari with a half smile. "Thanks for the notice..." he said before he yawned. He was still pretty tired, but he was pretty sure he could manage dinner before he curled up for the night. He started to stand up once Hikari had backed up a little and then glanced over to Celestine and sighed softly. He didn't know whether it would be worth it to wake him up, though the kid needed to eat...he had a feeling getting him to do so was going to be a royal pain int he ass, it usually was when he was upset. For now he just motioned for Hikari to head on inside and followed after her. He'd work on him after he ate if someone didn't beat him to the punch, right now he looked pretty content with sleeping.
Kamaria watched as Aamori and LaRae got up and started to get into the kitchen. She didn't bother getting anything right now, she was going to just wait until the guests had gotten something. She glanced after Aamori when she went to the counter and started to pluck the chicken out of one of the plated. She tilted her head a little, but didn't say anything. Either she or someone else apparently didn't like chicken. She turned her attention back to LaRae again when she spoke and smiled slightly whens he said that she would have loved to help her cook. "Haha, well, I certainly would have appreciated it. As much as I appreciate the effort, Selen shouldn't be allowed in a kitchen," she said in a half joking tone. Selenity wasn't much of a cook, but then again she was a princess, she wasn't expected to be a cook. She looked thoughtfully toward the living room for a moment when LaRae asked if she could eat in there and then nodded her head slightly. "Yes, that's alright...just try not to drop anything on the sofa, alright, dear?" She could clean the floor a lot easier than she could clean the couch, so she kind of hoped she would keep the food clear of the sofa.

Kyran didn't bother to help Nanashi sit up since he hadn't said anything about accepting the help. It wasn't like he wasn't going to help him at all, he just didn't want to help him when he didn't want the help or wanted to do something himself. Though this time was much different then his wanting to walk on his own earlier. It wasn't like sitting up was really that hard. He nodded his head slightly. "That's fine." He responded after Nanashi had asked how that was. He started back over to the dresser where he had set the tray down and picked it up carefully before turning back and carrying it over to the bed. He slowly started to lower the tray down onto his lap. "I know it looks like a lot of food, but try and eat as much as you can and take your time." He was pretty sure that it would take some time for Nanashi to eat since he probably wasn't hungry to begin with. He also hoped that Nanashi at least tried to eat a little of everything on the plate. He'd never really had chicken liver so he didn't know how it tasted but he hoped Nanashi could stomach it.
Aamori took her time fishing the chicken out of the one dish and then set the forks on the plates. She thought briefly about getting something to drink as well but she didn't have that many hands. She could always come back inside later for something to drink. She picked up the plates once more and glanced towards the door seeing that Hikari was coming back inside and Kanone had the door. She figured it would be easier to take advantage of the open door while she could since her hands were full so she practically scurried over to the door. "Hold the door, please." She called on her way over. Assuming that Kanone held the door she slipped out onto the porch without losing anything.
LaRae smiled a little after what Kamaria had said and the comment about Hikari and the kitchen. "...Well, I'm a decent cook so you don't have to be worried about me and a kitchen and how well we mix." She said with a nod. She smiled again after hearing Kamaria say that she could eat in the living room and to try not to drop anything on the sofa. "Thank you, I won't." She responded and then started to carry the plate into the living room. Rather then sit on the couch she set the plate on the coffee table and then lowered herself to the floor so that she was sitting in front of the table to eat.

Nanashi nodded his head slightly when Kyran said that this was alright and then sighed softly before he lowered his head a little. He blinked when he brought the tray over to him. His ears fell back a little at the sighed of the food. It wasn't a lot, but it looked like a mountain to him. He stared at the...meat for a moment and felt his stomach roll a little. He looked up to Kyran again slowly after eying the food and then glanced back down. "...Thanks..." he said, almost unsurely. He didn't want to eat that, it looked disgusting and frankly...he wasn't even sure you were supposed to eat that part of...whatever it was. Luckily for everyone, Nanashi wasn't a picky eater at all, he'd eat whatever he was given because he knew that he didn't have much of an option, and it would be rude to turn it down. He was also rather used be bing given the worst of whatever was offered...it wasn't unusual for him to get something after it had been dropped in the floor, or be handed a fruit with worm holes in it when there were perfectly good ones sitting there beside it, not that he thought Kyran and the others would do that to him, but this...didn't look eatable. He'd learned a while back to suppress his gag reflex and just eat it. He finally reached for the fork and picked it up with a slightly shaky hand to cut off a small piece of the liver and almost timidly poked it into his mouth. He is face twitched a little when the taste hit his tongue and then laid the fork down, swallowing quickly. He didn't like it, but he was trying his best to keep a straight face and casually reached for the glass of juice and took a sip to get the taste out of his mouth. He actually cringed and shuddered a little this time when that bitter flavor washed over his taste buds. He swallowed quickly and then sat the glass down, covering his mouth as he coughed quietly since he'd sucked a little down the wrong tube in his attempt to swallow before he spat everywhere or something. He was starting to think he was better off with the first bad taste. Well...if nothing else, at least the vegetables and apple slices were eatable...He was starting to think he'd just save those for last.
Hikari smiled slightly when Kanone motioned for her to go on inside. She guessed letting Celestine rest wouldn't hurt much if Kanone wanted to let him rest. She started back inside and smiled slightly when she noticed Aamori with two plates and then moves aside for her while Kanone held the door for her. She didn't bother to grab a plate just yet, she kind of wanted to wait until Kyran came back down to start eating herself.
Kanone blinked when Aamori asked him to hold the store and then smiled slightly and held onto the door again while she scurried out. Once she was outside he sighed softly and then moved further into the kitchen, offering the other light dragon woman a warm smile. "Thanks for dinner," he told her lightly. His stomach growled again quietly when he caught a good whiff of the food and he inched over to the table to snag a plate and a biscuit before he started to look around and then headed over to where he saw LaRae sitting. He smiled slightly and sat down at the end of the table near LaRae. "...Yo...how you feeling?" he asked as he settled and offered her a slight smile.
Kamaria smiled at LaRae again and nodded "Well, perhaps next time," she told her before nodding to her after she went to go eat. She turned her attention to the wind dragon...the one she assumed to be Kanone, and smiled slightly at him. "You're welcome, dear," she said simply. She chuckled softly when she heard his stomach growl as well and let him go eat. It seemed he and LaRae were pretty hungry.

Kyran watched momentarily while Nanashi eyed the food on the tray. "You're welcome." He responded quietly after hearing him say 'thanks'. He was kind of getting the impression that Nanashi was unsure about the chicken liver though that may have been his own thoughts clouding everything. He wasn't sure that he'd be too enthusiastic about eating something like that either. Then again... just because something didn't look good didn't necessarily mean that it didn't taste good. He was at the very least glad to see that Nanashi was going to try the liver. He wasn't exactly studying him for a reaction while he ate so of course he missed any signs of distaste, at least until he cringed and shuddered after the juice. Then of course the coughing that followed only made it a little easier to guess the flavor probably hadn't been anything that he had expected. He sighed softly. "Maybe I should have forewarned that the juice was bitter..." He commented quietly. "...Kamaria did mention that beforehand." He paused. "At any rate, the juice is supposed to be good for you but I can get you water instead... so long as you try to eat as much of the meat as you possibly can." He told him. "The meat will help you to recover better from the blood loss, so it is kind of important that you try and eat it."
Aamori uttered a brief thanks as she reached the porch and paused momentarily to make sure Celestine was still where he had been left. She doubted that he would have moved, he wouldn't leave Nobu but you never know... Nobu could've decided he was feeling better and gotten up and moved or something and Celestine likely would have been right there glued to the canine. Now the actual likelihood of something like that occurring... slim to none, but she still looked to make sure he hadn't moved. She started down off of the porch first and then walked over to where he was sleeping beside Nobu. She took a moment to set the plates down on the porch before she turned her attention to Celestine and knelt down before reaching over to shake him very lightly. "Celestine, wake up. I brought you dinner."
LaRae wasted little time starting on the food in front of her after she had sat down. She hadn't eaten in a while and being pegged with that dart hadn't taken away her hunger though it had made her not desire food right away at the very least. She did cease forking food in her mouth once Kanone entered the living room and rested her hand against the table with the fork against the plate. She smiled slightly after hearing him ask how she was feeling. "I'm a little worn out and have a dull pain in my head still." She answered. "What about you?" She asked before lifting up her fork and going back to eating once again.

Nanashi glanced back to Kyran with one eye closed and his hand over his mouth as he tried to keep from coughing. He wasn't trying to make a scene of this, but the juice was either disgusting or really going to take some getting used to...he wasn't sure which. Either way, he'd just gotten strangled. He cleared his throat and then coughed again quietly. "...It's fine..." he nearly choked out as he lowered his hand. He swallowed again and tried to clear his throat out again before he sighed softly. "...I'll drink it..." He glanced back down to the meat again and sighed softly. That looked like a lot to choke down to him, even if it wasn't all that big...it didn't taste good enough for him to even want to take another bite. "...Alright...I'll eat it," he said quietly after Kyran had told him what it was for. Honestly, he didn't see how it would help, but then again...the best things for you were usually disgusting. He again picked up the fork and cut off a small piece of the liver before sticking it into his mouth. His face remained expressionless as he chewed and swallowed. At least the stuff was very tender, so it practically fell apart in his mouth...which in this case was pretty disgusting in itself. He just kept his eyes closed while he chewed and then swallowed hard before almost mechanically taking another bite. He didn't bother talking, he just wanted to get this over with and get this nasty looking meat away from him.
Celestine of course hadn't gone anywhere, and had barely moved once he'd laid down other than to bury his head further into his sleeve. He was still very tired and his headache hadn't really let up a whole lot so when Aamori tried to wake him he groaned and tried to burrow his head into his arm a bit more. Though when she started talking he groaned again softly ad finally cracked open his eyes, actually glad not to be greeted by any bright sunlight. He slowly turned his head and looked back to her for a moment, sniffing the air a little before he made a face. He could smell the chicken among the vegetables, and he didn't usually eat his vegetables cooked anyway. "...You can have it...," he muttered quietly before he rolled back over again and curled up a little, pressing his head to his arm as hard as he could manage. "...I'm not hungry..." he added in hopes that she would just leave him alone and not push him. He didn't even care when the last time that he ate was, he still wasn't hungry and didn't feel like trying to force it down.
Kanone smiled slightly at LaRae when she told him how she was feeling and then laughed weakly. "...About the same," he said simply to answer her question. At least by now his stomach had stopped throwing a fit, so he could actually enjoy the food. He went ahead and started forking up a bit himself before stuffing it into his mouth. He was a little surprised that it tasted so good, mostly because he wasn't really used to this kind of food. He half smiled and then forked up a bit more and stuffed it into his mouth as well. He really was glad to finally have something to eat. That was the worst part about this trip for him...he didn't like going without eating for days at a time, he was used to three square meals a day, or at least a day with snacks spread throughout.

Kyran sighed softly after hearing Nanashi say that he would drink the juice and eat the meat. He really didn't seem too enthused about either of the things he had to stomach but at least he appeared to be willing to try. He just kind of nodded his head a little. "Just don't make yourself sick, okay? If you can't eat it don't force it." He said quietly and then moved towards the foot of the bed. He didn't want to stand there and watch him eat and he didn't really want to leave him alone up here to eat. He lowered himself down onto the floor and set his back against the side of the foot of the bed. He wasn't entirely sure how Nanashi felt about having someone in the room while he ate but at least this way he wasn't watching him which had to be an improvement.
Aamori stared down at Celestine and waited for him to respond. She sighed quietly when he finally turned his and looked at her and then made a face after sniffing the air. She should have known that he would smell the chicken in her bowl and of course he was fully prepared to turn it down at the smell. She rolled her eyes very slightly when he said that she could have it. She shook her head when he said that he wasn't hungry after he had rolled back over. That obviously gave the hint that she should probably leave him alone but he did need to eat something even if he wasn't hungry. He hadn't eaten in awhile, likely longer then the others too. "The plate I brought for you doesn't have any chicken in it, mine does." She told him firstly. "You haven't eaten in awhile either so I don't think it'll kill you to try and eat a little, besides we don't know when we'll have food like this to eat again." She told him. She knew he didn't eat a lot or often but he did need to eat something, especially after recovering from that sedative. She wasn't sure it really helped anything but it would probably be good to give him some energy if he ate something.
LaRae nodded her head a little when she heard Kanone answer her question. She continued eating quietly for a few minutes before setting her fork down so that she could pick at the biscuit she had picked up. She broke a piece off and put it in her mouth. After she swallowed she looked back over at Kanone. "Do you know how Celestine is doing?" She figured that he or Aamori would stand a better chance of knowing. Other then Celestine the only person she was really curious to know their condition was Nanashi and right now she couldn't really have that answered. To figure out how he was doing she would have to ask Hikari or Kyran or go and see Nanashi herself.

Nanashi glanced back to Kyran again when he told him not to force it. "...Don't worry...," he said quietly, "...I think I've eaten worse things." The liver wasn't good, but it wasn't the worst thing he'd eaten before, and the juice...well, he could probably get used to it after a little while. He went back to trying to eat the liver and then glanced over to Kyran when he sat down rather than leave. He blinked and looked at him for a moment before glancing down. "...Kyran...you don't have to stay with me..." he said softly. He didn't mind the company of course, but he didn't want to bore the poor guy to death. Honestly, he'd have thought Kyran would have had enough of him for one day after everything. He had at least managed to get down about half of the liver. He put down his fork again and lifted the glass with both hands, finally took another sip of the juice, and this time managed not to shudder or make faces since he knew what to expect of the taste. He drunk a little more of it this time. There was a tiny hint of sweetness to the juice. He could probably learn to like it, not that there was enough in the glass for that. He was still pretty shaky, so he was trying his best not to drop or spill anything.
Celestine groaned softly and whens he said that only her plate had chicken on it. That didn't help much...he still had to smell it. He sighed softly and finally rolled into his back to look at her again. His eyes were still narrowed, but he didn't really look irritated, he just looked like he had a headache. "...Aamori........." He finally just sighed heavily and then closed his eyes again. "...I'm just not hungry...I don't feel like eating..." He didn't want to put food, partially because he was still feeling sick after being sedated and partially because he was feeling a little sick about Nobu being so hurt. It wasn't uncommon for him to get an upset stomach when he got upset over something. With the combination of the two, the thought of food just really...almost made him sick in itself.
Kanone was pretty content with just shoveling down his food as fast as he could without being disgusting about it. He was pretty hungry, so he was more than happy to tuck away the food. He blinked when she asked him how Celestine was doing and then glanced over to her with a slight smile. "...Well...from what I saw earlier his head was killing him, and I'm pretty sure by now he's worked himself up into being near sick...so he's probably tired, cranky, and giving Aamori hell about dinner..." He smiled weakly, "...He's been glued to Nobu since we got here, he's really worried about him...and he usually won't touch food when he's upset. Other than that though, I really don't know...he was asleep when I came in, so I just let him rest." He smiled at her again, a little surprised that she had asked about him. "He'll be alright...thanks for asking about him."

Kyran could only imagine what Nanashi had referred to when he said that he thought he had eaten worse things. It wasn't a usual thought for him but he guessed Nanashi didn't always get to eat good food like the rest of them. This trip might actually have given him the chance to eat some pretty good things that he hadn't usually gotten and that just seemed so sad to him. That certainly made him think briefly that they should try and take advantage of the chances they got to eat like this and not let any of them slip by then of course when they stopped in the woods and stuff they could probably try and find something eatable out there and LaRae did seem to be pretty decent cook so they could still eat while out in the woods. He glanced over at Nanashi momentarily when he heard him say that he didn't need to stay with him. He nodded his head lightly. "I know that." He responded. "I thought it might be better for me to wait while you ate." He paused. "Just in case you needed anything or something went wrong. We don't need you left alone up here to choke on your food or something." He said and then looked away. He wasn't really saying that Nanashi was incapable of eating himself but keeping everything in mind there could be a possibility of his choking or something since he'd been tired and all like he was.
Aamori stared down at Celestine once he had rolled over onto his back and said her name. She continued to stare at him until he had repeated that he wasn't hungry and added that he didn't feel like eating. She sighed almost heavily as she lifted her eyes from him. Of course he wasn't hungry. He was never hungry. It was almost always a pain to get him to eat, or at least it felt that way most of the times she had tried. She didn't entirely feel like pressing him to eat this time. She did want him to but she guessed there was still a good possibility that he just didn't feel well enough to eat? Maybe that was it. She started to stand up and ran her hands over the rear of her outfit briefly in the process. "...I really wish that you would eat something..." She commented. "...I guess I'll go inside and eat so you don't have to be subjected to my dinner..." She paused. "I'm not carrying your plate back inside... so... do whatever you want with the food just make sure the plate doesn't grow legs." She told him quietly and moved back to the porch to grab her plate and then turn to so that she could go back towards the door.
LaRae listened quietly and continued to eat her biscuit while Kanone answered her question. By the time he had finished answering to the best of his ability she had finished her biscuit. She nodded her head slightly after he had said thanks for asking about him. She guessed it wasn't all that surprising that Kanone didn't know exactly how Celestine was since he apparently hadn't really spoken to the kid himself. She wasn't really surprised to hear that Celestine had been glued to Nobu either. She hadn't seen exactly what had happened to Nobu but she had gotten word that he'd been hurt. "...Aside from giving Aamori hell it doesn't sound like he's too far off from how we were feeling ourselves. It's a shame it's taking so long to get around to feeling better..." She said with a sigh. She really was hating it herself so she could imagine how he and Celestine felt about it. She started to reach for her fork and picked it up again. "He and I had gotten a chance to talk a little in Kairava... so we're somewhat on better terms with one another... I think." She told him quietly before eating a bit more of her dinner.

Nanashi blinked when he heard Kyran's response to what he told him and then almost smiled a little as he shook his head. "...Well...thanks..." he said quietly, "...Heh...you worry too much...." He at least sounded appreciative when he said it, rather than annoyed. He figured the worst he would do would be to drop something all over himself. He resumed trying to eat the rest of the meat, which remarkably didn't take that long. It was at least pretty easy to eat save for the taste of it that he wasn't that fond of. He laid down his fork once he was finished with the meat and sighed softly. He again picked up the glass with both hands and took a sip of the drink before he set it back down again and picked up one of the carrots. He didn't really want anything else...the taste in his mouth was horrible, but he was trying to eat as much as he could stomach eating. Frankly he was already feeling a little queasy, but he didn't think he was going to be sick and he was pretty sure that feeling would go away soon enough after he laid back down again. He took a small nibble off of the piece of carrot, thankful that that he at least had sharp teeth since the thing wasn't cooked. He was at least glad someone had thought to shave it down a little and cut it up since that made it a bit easier to eat. He wasn't having too much trouble with the harder foods either, mostly since he was trying his best to be careful and make sure that he chewed properly, even if his jaw was tired. He really didn't want to prove Kyran right and wind up choking to death on a carrot.
Celestine sighed again softly when she said that she really wished he would eat something. If he didn't feel like he might hurl then he might think about it, but at the moment food was the absolute last thing on his mind. "...Fine...," he responded quietly whens he said that she was going to go inside so that he wouldn't be subjected to her dinner. He kind of appreciated that, at least he wouldn't have to smell it. He was almost a little annoyed that she was leaving the plate out here, but he had a feeling she was just hoping he'd eat it after she left. He really had no interest in it, but he guessed he could get up and take it in later. It was just kind of a shame it was going to go to waste since he really didn't want it. He really wished people would start asking him if he wanted food before they made it and brought it to him. He watched for just a moment as Aamori started back to the door and then rolled back onto his side again with a soft sigh as he nuzzled back against Nobu. He just wished his head would stop throbbing the way it was. It wasn't much better than it had been before he went to sleep, tough part of his problem could have been where he'd fallen and put up such a fight earlier with everyone rather than just the sedative alone affecting him. He nuzzled his cheek against his arm again and then absently moved his hand to start stroking Nobu's fur gently again, still being careful to avoid his injuries.
Kanone nodded his head slightly whens he mentioned that Celestine wasn't far off from how they had been doing and that it was a shame it was taking so long for them to get over it. "...Well, that's not too surprising...and something tells me it's still going to be a good while before it's all out of his system... I mean the kid's like half our size either way you look at it... He weighs next to nothing, and he's...well was, the shortest one here..." He smiled slightly after she'd said that they had gotten to talk a bit in Kairava and that they were on better terms now. "...That's good...," he said softly before glancing away again. "...It's about time he gets his head out of his ass.... He got it into his head after all of that happened that all earth dragons were just like the ones that attacked us and would try to kill him on sight, and there was no telling him otherwise. Then again, I guess up until he met you he's never met an earth dragon that hasn't proven him right, as far as I know the only ones he's ever had contact with were the ones on the attack." He looked back to LaRae again and smiled warmly before reaching over to put a hand on her shoulder. His mother had at least been able to make him understand that not every earth dragon was like that, but she hadn't been able to convince Celestine on that at all, but then again...Celestine could be stubborn, and on opt of barely remembering who he was, he had a lot on his mind..he guessed it made it easier for him to deal with having something to hate for it.

Kyran didn't bother responding to anything that Nanashi had said. It was better to just let him eat then to add talking to the mix. He did have to agree though that he probably did worry too much but he would rather worry too much then not at all and wind up with something bad happening. Besides... with Nanashi it was like bad things were attracted to him so you almost always worried when it came to him. It was pretty sad that even something as simple as taking a walk could turn out quite dangerous for him. He sighed softly after the thought. He really did hope that nothing bad like that happened to Nanashi here. He couldn't exactly say how light dragons would treat a dragon half but he thought most light dragons had pretty good temperaments so hopefully he'd be alright.
Aamori didn't really even bother looking back at Celestine once she had started for the door. She was honestly a little annoyed herself with him at the moment and all she really wanted to do was sit down and eat. He was difficult to deal with when he was grumpy, crabby, irritable and or not feeling well. Then of course on top of any of those he wasn't exactly fond of eating. Once she reached the door she opened it with her free hand and slipped inside. She remembered being told that she would have to find someplace to eat and she had intended to eat outside with Celestine but that had kind of gone down the drain so she thought she might join LaRae. She barely paused once she had entered the house again and headed straight for the living room. She wasn't that surprised to see Kanone had taken up at the coffee table with LaRae. She slipped around to a free space at the table and sat herself down so that she could finally start eating her dinner.
LaRae nodded her head slightly after hearing him say that he thought it might be awhile before the sedative was completely out of Celestine's system. She could understand why he thought that way at least. "...I guess that would make sense since he was the last to come around." She paused. "To be honest I kind of thought he may have woken first since he had been hit first." She said with a slight nod. She didn't know how these things worked and this had been the first time she had ever dealt with the stuff that she knew of so she really had no idea how any of it worked. She smiled rather weakly after Kanone had gone on about it being good that her and Celestine were on better terms. "...Unfortunately even if he and I are on better terms that doesn't change the way the rest of my clan would look at him, or you for that matter." She said quietly. "Quite a few earth dragons would most likely still treat you two the same way that the ones did who attacked back then." She paused. "...But I like to think there are more like me who don't discriminate like that." She sighed almost heavily after he had touched her shoulder. "...Dealing with my clan is just going to be a pain... I know it..." She muttered quietly under her breath.

Nanashi didn't say anything more to Kyran once he'd stopped talking, he just went about trying to finish as much of this as he could. He managed to get down one of the carrot pieces and two apple slices, as well as the rest of the juice. Once he had eaten about as much as he could stand to eat he glanced over to Kyran again. He'd pretty much gotten rid of everything except three carrot pieces, two apple slices, and he hadn't even touched the broccoli...he just didn't want to even try to chew that. He finally opened his mouth to let Kyran know that he was finished. "...I...don't think I can eat any more..." he said quietly as he glanced back down to his plate again. He felt a little bad for not being able to finish it off, but he didn't think he could stomach too much more.
Kanone listened quietly to LaRae and then smiled weakly. "Yeah...well if he was our size, he would have..." he said simply. He didn't know too much about all of that, though he knew that most things like that effected you based on size. He tilted his head a little when she started talking about her clan and just smiled at her before moving his hand from her shoulder to her head after she said ti was going to be a pain. He just messed up her hair a little and then pulled his hand back. "Hey, don't worry about it...I don't really care, and I'll make sure Cel doesn't fly off the handle and kill anyone, it'll be fine." He turned his attention back over to Aamori since she'd come in to sit down and then tilted his head a little. "Hey...guess that didn't go over too well?" he asked after catching sight of her expression and the fact that she was in here again. He started to eat a bit more of his dinner then, not that there was a whole lot left to begin with since he'd been chowing down on it before.

Kyran lifted his head and looked over at Nanashi when he finally heard him say that he didn't think he could eat any more. "Alright." He responded and then started to get to his feet. He glanced down at the tray once he was back on his feet and saw just how much Nanashi had managed to eat. "You ate a good portion of it. That's good." He said and stepped closer to reach down and take the tray from him. He was just glad that Nanashi had been able to eat all of the chicken liver so the fact that he hadn't finished the carrots, apple, or broccoli was alright with him. Now that he was thinking about it, it probably would have been better to have steamed the carrots and broccoli or something. Anything just to make it a little easier to eat. "...Do you need or want anything at all before I head back downstairs?" He asked as he looked from the tray to Nanashi. He wasn't really sure that there was anything Nanashi would need but he wouldn't know unless he asked.
LaRae didn't even bother to fix her hair after Kanone had messed it up a little. She looked over at him for a moment and then shook her head slightly. "I think you could have done a better job of reassuring me by not saying that the way you did." She paused. "The last thing we need is Celestine losing it in earth clan territory and killing anyone." She shook her head a little. "Even the possibility of that happening is just..." She trailed off and shook her head again. "Never mind that." She said quietly. It wasn't important right now and no one needed to be worrying over that right now. They still had the light territory to contend with and the rest could wait. She turned her attention over to Aamori after Kanone had spoken to her and asked a question.
Aamori quietly ate a couple bites of her dinner before glancing over to Kanone after hearing his question. She sighed quietly and lowered her fork down onto the edge of her plate. "No, it didn't." She answered quietly. "...He said he wasn't hungry and I didn't push to get him to eat. He's been in a grumpy mood even before he got to sleep." She sighed again quietly. "He got snippy with me when I asked him earlier how he was feeling... apparently he needs more sleep because his attitude still sucks." She muttered the last part quietly and then picked up her fork again and continued eating.
