Nanashi glanced over to Kyran again when he started to get up and took the tray from him. He tried to smile at him when he seemed approving of how much he ate, but it still didn't turn out very well. Really, it wasn't a whole lot that he'd eaten, but he'd apparently gotten down the most important parts. Once he asked if he needed anything else he shook his head weakly. "...No, I'm fine..." he said quietly. "...Thank you," he added after a moment. He couldn't really think of anything at the moment, though he was curious about something now. "...How is LaRae?" he asked quietly after glancing back up to him again. He hadn't really gotten any updates on anyone, so he was kind of curious to know how everyone was, but especially LaRae. He leaned back against the head of the bed again and then started to try to lay back down again.

Kanone tilted his head a little when LaRae said that he'd have done a btter job reassuring her if he hadn't worded it the way he had. He just sighed heavily and rolled his eyes a little. "Why does everyone have to take everything I say so literally?" he said, sounding almost annoyed. He was losing count of how many times he'd said something and someone came back with a negative comment on his wording. After a while, that was almost enough to make him want to stop even trying to make people feel better. He just sighed softly and then glanced back to Aamori again when she started to answer him and just smiled weakly. "...Don't take it personally..." he said simply, "...He's always like that when he's not feeling well... I'm pretty sure he just doesn't want anyone worrying about him... " he said simply. He finally picked up his fork again and started to finish off the rest of his dinner. "He'll get over it..."

Kyran wasn't surprised to hear Nanashi say 'No' and that he was fine in response to his question. He was pretty sure that was one of Nanashi's usual answers in cases like this. But as he had thought before, there wasn't a whole lot else that he thought Nanashi may have needed right now. He already had a bed and he had eaten so he would probably just go back to sleep. Or at least that is what he thought. He nodded his head lightly after Nanashi had said thank you. "You're welcome." He told him quietly. He wasn't that surprised to hear the question about LaRae either. He was bound to ask about her sooner or later. "...I'm not really sure myself. I think she was asleep earlier, she may be awake now and eating." He paused momentarily. "Would you like me to see if she wouldn't mind coming up here to see you?"

LaRae stared over at Kanone after he had asked why everyone had to take everything he said so literally and sighed quietly. "Don't go getting your panties bunched up." She paused. "...When it comes to Celestine I wouldn't dare put it past him to actually kill an earth dragon, he's just crazy enough to do something like that over his past, that's all." She told him. She glanced over to Aamori for a moment while she tried to finish up what was left on her plate. There wasn't a whole lot left really. She shifted her glance back to Kanone for a moment when he started to speak again. She paused in the process of gathering more food with her fork and shook her head lightly once Kanone was done. "I think Celestine's almost always like that. It's like he enjoys being grumpy."

Aamori managed a few more bites of her dinner while both Kanone and LaRae spoke and then she sighed quietly as she set her fork down again. "...I don't really take it personally, or I try not to..." She paused. "I know he would act the same way to just about anyone... I just wish he'd stop being so difficult with me on some things... I'm sure you'd like that too, Kanone." She said as she looked over at him. "I think I'm more annoyed at his response to my having asked him how he was feeling. He seriously needs to learn that it is okay to let people worry about him when they want to and it's better to worry, knowing what's going on then to worry without knowing." She sighed almost heavily. "But he doesn't understand that either... he'd rather you worried without knowing a darn thing. It seriously is enough to make you want to throw your hands up at the whole situation..." She said quietly as she stared down at her plate. His not wanting to eat really hadn't bothered her as much as his responses to her earlier. Honestly... she didn't see why he had to be so difficult and moody when it came to telling her, someone he now knew liked him and vice versa, what was wrong with him. She didn't really care who all he gave his usual response to but her and probably Kanone should've at least been worthy enough of the truth without the attitude to make you wish you hadn't asked in the first place.

Nanashi nodded his head weakly after Kyran said that LaRae had been sleeping earlier and may be up now, though when he asked if he wanted him to see if she didn't mind coming up, he averted his eyes really. Honestly, he'd love nothing more than to have someone stay with him for a little while, just to keep his mind of things, but he shook his head slightly. "...No...that's alright," he said quietly, "...She'll come if she feels like it..." He was pretty sure LaRae would get around to coming to see him when she felt up to it, and until then, he didn't want to make her feel obligated. He tried to nuzzle his head into the pillow a little more and then closed his eyes with a quiet sigh. He still had a bit of a headache, but at the moment there wasn't much to be done about it. He just hoped it would be gone by the time he woke up again.

Kanone glanced back to LaRae and sighed softly whens he said that she wouldn't put it past Celestine, though he actually huffed in amusement when she said he was crazy enough to do that. Well, he guessed to some people, Celestine could be pretty crazy. "...He's not that crazy..." he said simply, "...in spite of the way he comes off...the kid won't attack anything if it doesn't give him a reason to...and he doesn't kill just for the hell of it. I know I haven't been around him much in the past few years but I don't think he's changed all that much... Sure, he's gotten more violent than what I remember, but even still, I don't see him killing anything that not trying to kill him or someone else..." He turned his attention back to Aamori then and shook his head a little when she went on to explain that she was more upset about the way Celestine had answered her. "...Well to be honest, I think that's what he's after," he said simply when she said that it was enough to make you want to throw your hands up at the whole situation. He chuckled softly and shook his head. "...I think you're missing the basic point on that one.... He doesn't want you to worry at all, that's why he doesn't like talking about it. I guess he figures the more you know, the more you're going to worry, so if he doesn't say anything, there's nothing to worry about." He sighed softly, "...I mean, yeah, I'd like him to let me know when something's really wrong without being an ass about it, but that's just Celestine. It's a lot better than when he was little at least...back then he used to come crying over every little thing." He rolled his eyes slightly at the memory. "...I mean it's not that I don't care, but my god, some things I just couldn't do anything about." Of course little did Kanone know he was pretty much paraphrasing what Celestine himself had already said earlier about people finding it annoying when you complained about things that no one could do anything about. When he was younger himself, he wasn't quite as tolerant as he was now, so Celestine could really get on his nerves. If someone was picking on him, he came crying to him, if he lost something, he came crying to him, if he hurt himself, he usually still came crying to him, and then he had to take him to his mom. He still loved the kid to death, but even at that there was only so much an eight-year-old could stand from a five-year-old, so of course he'd had his days when he just told him to shut up and stop crying. Now it just seemed like every mean thing Kanone had ever said to him was coming back to bite him in the ass after Celestine had decided to stop acting like a cute little kid. He never had quite grasped just how much Celestine liked him and looked up to him back then, so this new personality he had taken on was mostly just a compilation of Celestine trying his best to remember what annoyed him and not do them so he'd want him around more...though now it seemed like he'd just gone from one extreme to the other. Kanone still didn't really understand why Celestine acted the way that he did now half of the time, he just took it as Celestine's way of dealing with things.

Kyran sighed quietly and then nodded his head after hearing Nanashi's answer to his seeing if LaRae wouldn't mind coming up. He should have known an answer like that was coming since it was kind of rare for Nanashi to ask for something straight out. At any rate though, he was probably right. LaRae would make it up here to see him eventually and he was pretty sure the only thing that held her back before was the fact that she wouldn't have been able to carry herself up the stairs. If she was feeling better now and could walk on her own he was pretty sure she'd come up here. "...Alright ...I'll just let her know that you're awake at the moment." He told him as he turned away and started towards the door. He went ahead and slipped through the door and started downstairs with the tray. Once he was back downstairs he headed straight for the kitchen so that he could set the tray down on the counter. He probably could have taken the time to stop and tell LaRae right then that Nanashi was awake but he didn't particularly want to interrupt the conversation that the three of them were having.

LaRae finished what was left on her plate while Kanone spoke. She did kind of have to agree that Celestine didn't really attack anything unless given a reason to. He hadn't attacked her at all during the trip and he could have if he wanted to. In her opinion having that attack happen in the past seemed more then enough reason to her for him to attack any earth dragon he felt like but that would be a kind of petty way to go about things. "I do agree that he may not try to kill anything that doesn't try to kill him first but with a mouth like his I'm sure he could provoke just about any earth dragon." She paused. "...Not that I think he would intentionally do something like that ...but he doesn't really curb the way he talks around people he doesn't like... I mean... I wasn't even being mean to him or trying to hurt him and he was still pretty harsh with me in the beginning." She shook her head lightly. "I can only imagine how much worse his mouth could get if he was speaking to an earth dragon who really didn't like him." She shook her head again slightly. It really didn't matter right now and for all she knew Celestine may act a little better once he was in enemy territory. She kind of hoped the desire to stay alive and in one piece would kick in and maybe keep him in line enough that Kanone wouldn't even have to keep an eye on him. It really could turn out badly otherwise, she just knew it.

Aamori ate more while Kanone was talking and then set her fork down as he finished. "...I kind of figured that he didn't want anyone worrying over him but that's not going to happen when he's been hurt, even if nothing can be done to help him." She said quietly. "I think he's got it backwards actually... I think everyone worries more when you don't know what all is wrong with someone. If you're left sitting there worrying and wondering what is wrong the worry only gets worse... but if you know whats wrong and you know you can't do anything to help then I think it's not quite as bad. You'll still worry of course but at least you'll know everything." She said with a quiet sigh. "...I don't expect him to tell about every little thing that happens to him... but he could let us know about the important things. I mean... being hit with that dart and how it's made him feel afterward is kind of important to me as compared to like... stubbing a toe or something..." She said quietly. "...I just wish he wasn't always like this and I could really do without the snappiness when he does finally tell you whats wrong."

Nanashi nodded slightly when Kyran said that he would let her know that he was awake at the moment and then watched him start out of the room. "...Thanks," he called after him quietly. Once Kyran had made it out of the room, he just sighed softly and rolled back onto his side again to curl back up into his little ball before closing his eyes. He still has a pretty nasty aftertaste in his mouth, and his stomach wasn't too thrilled with him, so he was trying not to move too much and just go back to sleep for now, at least until his food had time to settle.

Hikari glanced toward the stairs when she noticed Kyran coming back down and smiled slightly before starting over to the counter. "Wow, he ate more than I thought he would," she observed as she looked at the plate. She glanced back up to Kyran again and smiled at him before nodding her head over toward the table. "Come on, your turn," she told him before she started over to the table to get herself a plate. She went over to get one of the biscuits and pulled it apart before spreading a little bit of the strawberry preserves on it and closing it up again to sit down on the edge of her plate before glancing back to Kyran again. "Where do you want to sit?" she asked.

Kamaria half smiled at Kyran when he came back and then realized what Selenity had been waiting for. They'd already been talking, and she was half wondering where the two dark dragons were since Selenity had already told her that she had told them they could eat. "Well, you two can go ahead and eat at the table," she told them, "I'll just take these out and see if those other two are hungry, if not I'll put them on the counter." She picked up two of the plates, making sure to get some forks to go with them, and left only the plate that was meant to be hers on the table for now. She then made her way over to the door and carefully balanced one of the plates on her arm while she opened the door since she couldn't very well use her tail to do so in her gown. Once the door was open she took a hold of the plate again before she wound up dropping it and then slipped out onto the porch, not bothering to close the door behind her. She started down the steps carefully and then glanced around for a moment, noticing that the one plate had remained untouched on the porch and the wind dragon seemed to still be sleeping. She looked around for a moment and then started around to the side of the house to see if they had gone around there. She was relieved that she'd at least picked the right side of the house since it didn't take her long to spot he two against the white stone of the house. She sighed softly and then started over toward them slowly. She was of course a little wary of them, but at the same time, she didn't really have anything against them. She half smiled when she saw the girl curled up beside the older one and then shook her head a little. "...Nero, correct?" she asked quietly. "...Here, I thought I would go ahead and bring this out to you two....it's going to get cold sitting in there on the table waiting for you," she told him as she held out the plate to him. She glanced over to Reyes again and smiled slightly, "Should I take hers back inside for now?"

Kanone sighed softly and just rubbed his head lightly. "...Well, LaRae, I think to think the kid has some common sense... I really don't think there's too much to worry about... Besides, he's being civil to you now, who's to say he hasn't learned something?" He shook his head a little and then glanced back to Aamori and sighed heavily. "...What do you want me to do about it, Aamori?" he asked in a slightly whiny tone since she was kind of repeating herself already. "...The kid's an asshole, what more can I say for him? You know how he is...he doesn't even tell me what's wrong with him anymore, if you get him to talk openly to you, I applaud you..." He glanced back to her again and sighed softly. "I mean, you should know by now how he reacts when he's in that shape... There's nothing to really get upset about...at least he answered you at all, he doesn't even give that much to some people." Kanone was trying his best not to sound annoyed, but he couldn't really help getting that way, he just wanted to eat. He'd already been trying to tell Celestine all of those things, the kid didn't listen to him, and he didn't know what to tell her... Celestine acted that way all of the time, he thought she'd been around him enough to gather that much by now, so he didn't see the point in wishing for him to change his tune. "...He's already opened up a lot from the Celestine I remember...you can't expect him to change completely over night."

Kyran glanced over to Hikari momentarily after she had commented about Nanashi having eaten more then she thought he would. “…Yeah, I told him the meat was important so he ate that without complaint.” He paused. “I think he may have tried to eat more if he weren’t worn out.” He turned his attention towards the table after she had motioned towards it and then smiled a little once she had said it was his turn. He was hungry and certainly ready to eat. He made no real rush to hurry and grab a plate and waited until after Hikari was finished fixing hers to move closer to the table. He looked at her briefly after she had asked where he wanted to sit. He was prepared to answer, telling her anywhere that she wanted to sit but he heard Kamaria say that they could sit at the table. Well, that worked for him. He kept his eyes on Kamaria for a moment after she had said that she was going to see if the other two were hungry. He assumed almost automatically that she had meant Nero and Reyes. He’d seen just about everyone else with food except for Celestine. He picked up a plate and held onto it long enough to sit down at the table. Once he was seated he looked back to Hikari and smiled weakly. “You didn’t have to wait for me to eat you know. You could have gone ahead and eaten without me.”

Nero hadn’t moved at all really from where he was sitting though he had woken Reyes up to mention dinner. Reyes didn’t look like he had moved though; he was still curled up on him and appeared to still be asleep since his eyes were shut. He and Reyes had talked briefly about getting up to see about dinner but they had decided not to bother. He didn’t think he was that hungry to begin with and it wasn’t like he couldn’t go another day without eating. Reyes on the other hand had admitted he was hungry but he didn’t really want to go in the woman’s house by himself to get something to eat and of course Nero wouldn’t go with him so they had both wound up deciding they would do without for the time being. Nero had already heard the woman before she spoke but hadn’t bothered to look up at her until after she had said his name. He wasn’t really surprised that she knew his name. Hikari had probably told her. He sighed softly and then nodded his head a little in response. He eyed the plate that she held out to him after she had said that she thought she’d bring it out to them. He finally lifted his free hand and took the plate from her. “…Thank you.” He said quietly before lowering the plate a little. He eyed the other plate she had with her and then started to set the one he had on the ground beside him. “…No, I’ll take it.” He said quietly and held his hand out for the other plate. He knew Reyes was hungry so he would much rather have both plates of food. He himself wasn’t sure he’d eat anything but there would be enough for Reyes to have his fill with both plates.

Aamori sat quietly for a few moments after listening to Kanone and then sighed quietly. “There isn’t really anything for you to do. I know that. I just needed to complain to someone and you got stuck with it since you were the first to leave an opening for me to rant.” She said as she stared down at her plate. “I also thought you might be sympathetic to how I feel right now since he is your family after all and you go through the same stuff with him.” She added quietly. She hadn’t meant to really annoy him or anything of sort, she really had kind of wanted someone to vent to and he was quite possibly the best choice since no one else probably got as bothered by Celestine’s answers as she did. But then again… complaining about Celestine’s habits to a boy probably wasn’t the smartest idea either, that was more something you did with a close female friend. She guessed she could have just spoken to LaRae alone about everything but part of her had just let it go as soon as it was able to be brought up and the other part thought Kanone might have been more sympathetic and understanding; not that he hadn’t been but she was getting the impression that maybe she had annoyed him to some extent. She sighed quietly and glanced over at Kanone momentarily. “…Sorry if I aggravated you…” She uttered quietly and then dropped her eyes back down to her plate so she could start eating again.

Hikiari glanced over to Kamaria when she said that she was going to go see if the others wanted to eat and then smiled slightly. She was going to go get the door for her, but since she seemed to already have it she didn't bother and just went on abut preparing her plate. She sat down and then glanced at Kyran and waited for him to sit down as well. "...I know, but but I wanted to eat with you," she responded simply. She was already forking up some of the noodles so that she could poke them into her mouth. She couldn't deny that she was pretty hungry by now, but she still hadn't really minded waiting the few extra minutes.

Kamaria nodded slightly when Nero said that he would take the other plate as well and gave him time to set the one down before she handed him the other one. "Alright...well, you know you're both welcome to come inside whenever you're ready. It an get a little chilly at night this time of year...not to mention there is no telling where those hunters got to..." She wasn't going to complain if they wanted to stay outside, but she did at least want to make sure that they knew that she wasn't going to make them spend the night out here on the ground. She didn't want to wake up in the morning and find what's left of them scattered all around the side of her house.

Kanone sighed again softly as he listened to Aamori and just rubbed his temples a little. "...Don't worry about it...guess I'm a little on the crabby side myself," he said simply before he looked over to her again. "...I just kinda came in to eat and wound up with a girl on each side, both on the topic of Celestine and his crappy attitude and not liking it... I mean, yeah, I know what you mean, but like I said...that's just him. You learn to deal with it eventually...I'm pretty sure he has reasons for the way he acts, and I'm equally sure I don't know all of them... I don't always know what to tell people, ya know? It's just the way he is." He laughed weakly, "And this is usually the way it turns out, he hurts the girl's feelings and I get them afterwards... That's why I said all the girls back home looked at me more like big brother." He rolled his eyes a little at that and then went back to forking up the remnants of his dinner. "...Don't worry, I'm not mad or anything..." he said, just to assure both of them, "Though I could probably stomp Cel's tail a good one if that'd make anyone besides me feel any better."

Kyran smiled a little once again after hearing Hikari say that she wanted to eat with him. That made him a little happier then it usually would have, mostly because he was starting to think of the things that were most likely going to change once they wound up somewhere that she had to be Selenity again rather than Hikari. He hadn’t really thought about just how much time the two of them spent together until they had gotten here. He glanced over at her for a moment and finally thought of something he had meant to ask. “So, how’re you feeling?” He asked as he lifted a hand and pointed to his face while moving his hand in a circular motion. He meant to ask how she was feeling all the way around but he was also curious about her face. After he asked he went ahead and reached for his fork so that he could start eating.

Nero took the other plate and lowered it down to his lap before looking back up at Kamaria. He stared at her for a few moments after she had started to say that both he and Reyes were allowed to come inside. He nodded his head a little. “Alright, thank you.” He responded. He wasn’t so sure he really wanted to go inside but he wasn’t going to keep Reyes from going inside if he wanted to. He lowered his eyes and looked at Reyes before giving him a little shake and moving the plate towards him. It didn’t take much at all for Reyes to sit up a little and take the plate from him. He knew that he was a little uncomfortable being in this woman’s presence so he could certainly guess that Reyes was too. It was just a lot easier to deal with being around light dragons when you looked at them as enemies that had to be taken out, not dragons you should try and get along with.

Aamori guessed that she wasn’t that surprised to hear Kanone say that he guessed he was a little on the crabby side. She hadn’t really thought about it before but LaRae was talking about Celestine too and his terrible attitude. But aside from that she wasn’t really that surprised that Kanone could be crabby… after all he did have Celestine as a cousin and he could be a hell of a lot worse than Kanone ever dreamed of being. She sighed quietly after listening to Kanone completely. She hadn’t really meant for venting to Kanone to make him think of how things had been for him back home with girls. She certainly would have to think twice about who she went to when she needed to vent about Celestine. She was at least a little relieved to hear him say that he wasn’t mad or anything. She hadn’t even meant to annoy him so of course she was glad to hear he wasn’t mad. She smiled a little weakly after Kanone had said that he could probably stomp Celestine’s tail. “…You could stomp it once for me.” She said quietly. “If he hadn’t been feeling crappy I’d probably have dumped the plate of food over his head… especially after I fished out all of the chicken.”

LaRae sat quietly listening to Aamori and Kanone. She hadn’t even really realized that Kanone had been getting annoyed at the things they were both saying. Well, rather, she hadn’t thought she had annoyed him that much with what she had been saying and of course she had paved the way for Aamori to just make it worse. She sighed quietly, a little relieved herself after hearing him say that he wasn’t mad or anything. The last thing she needed to go and do was make anyone mad, there was enough to worry about as it was.

Hikari glanced back to Kyran again when he asked her how she was feeling and then half smiled and shook her head. "...I'm fine, Kyran, they're only scars," said said as she absently raised her hand to run along one. "I can barely feel them now." She lowered her hand again and then half smiled at him again, "And don't worry, the rest of me is fine too... I'm a little tired, that's about it. I'll be fine by tomorrow." She was of course a little tired from the blood that she had lost as well as healing Nanashi's side and the other little injuries that she had fixed. She took another couple of bites of her dinner and then glanced over to Kyran again. "So, how are you doing?" she asked after a moment. She knew that he hadn't really been hurt, but he had carried Nanashi all the way here and she knew he likely still had Nobu on his mind.

Kamaria nodded slightly to Nero when he thanked her and then glanced to Reyes when she sat up to eat. She offered them both a slight smile. "Well, if either of you need anything, you can let me know," she told them and then added with a soft laugh, "I don't bite too hard, I promise." She finally started to back up and turn around to go back around the front of the house. She glanced around the yard again briefly, half smiling as she watched the kitten kitten-like...thing, hop around the yard after the remaining fireflies. She just shook her head a little and then started back up onto the porch and into the kitchen, closing the door behind her as she came back inside and finally made her way over to the table again to sit down in one of the two remaining seats so that she could eat as well.

Kyiri was of course still entertaining herself in the yard, at least until she caught the scent of chicken and noticed the woman bringing plates out to Nero and Reyes. Of course she hadn't eaten anything since Aamori had given her some treats yesterday, so she was pretty hungry as well. She watched as the woman went inside and then scurried over to Nero and came to a stop beside his leg. She sniffed at his plate for a moment before she meowed and looked back to him, pawing his leg lightly. She wouldn't go and steal his food like she did with Kanone, but she was hoping he'd give her some chicken...especially since he was completely ignoring his plate at the moment. after pawing his leg she laid down and rolled onto her back while looking up at him, just trying her best to look cute. Sonia had always been more prone to give her something if she rolled around looking adorable first...she didn't know if it'd work with Nero, but it never hurt to try.

Kanone half smiled once Aamori had said that he could stomp Cel's tail for her. "I just might...but then I might die," he said with a slight laugh. He sighed heavily and shook his head again. "...I'll go see if I can get him to eat it," he told her, "...I think a big part of his problem right now is he's just really upset about Nobu. He never wants to eat when he's upset about something. He'll either get tired of listing to a body gripe at him and eat it, or I'll stuff it down his throat. He'll cave just to avoid the struggle," he said confidently, as if he spoke from experience on that one...which he kind of did.

Kyran paused briefly while he was eating when Hikari got to answering his question. He was concerned about the scars on her face, partially for the fact that she was royalty and returning her to her territory with those on her face just made his stomach churn. He also wished there had been something that he could have done so that she hadn't had to wind up with those on her face. He nodded his head a little after she had said that she could barely feel them. He was glad about that at least. He continued to eat a little while she continued to say that the rest of her was fine too, that she was just a little tired. Thankfully there wasn't too much damage taken this time around. He looked up from his dinner when she asked how he was doing. He was quiet for a moment, mostly because he was asking himself 'how AM I doing?'. He smiled weakly. "I'm a bit worn out, both physically and quite possibly emotionally." He paused. "...I think I'll be alright though." He told her quietly and then started to eat once again. He definitely thought he'd be alright. He'd feel better physically after he slept and emotionally... well... he'd feel better after Nobu was alright again.

Nero nodded his head a little after Kamaria had said that if either of them needed anything they could let her know. "Alright." He responded and then gave a ghost of a smile after she had promised that she didn't bite too hard. "We'll let you know." He told her, though he was more likely lying. If he needed anything he'd keep quite about it or take care of it himself. He couldn't really speak for Reyes and he wasn't going to tell him what he could and couldn't do in this situation, though he would advise if he saw the need to. He watched her for a moment as she turned and headed back around the side the house. He lowered his eyes down to Reyes momentarily, watching him eat, at least until Kyiri made her way over to pester him. It really didn't take him that long to catch onto what she wanted. It was pretty obvious the cat was hungry and the cutesy act of begging he could have done without. He sighed softly and reached over to pick up his plate, setting it in his lap before looking back to Kyiri. He wasn't going to eat it and he wasn't sure if Reyes would eat both plates entirely so the plate could probably do without some of it's contents. He picked up the fork and stabbed for a piece of the chicken before playing like he was going to eat it himself and then held it out to Kyiri so that she could have it. He still didn't care for the kitten form of her but he couldn't really not feed her when he thought she could turn into a child.

Aamori listened quietly to Kanone and smiled rather weakly after he had said that he might die if he stomped Celestine's tail. Unfortunately she could almost see that turning into a mini death match. She felt a little better after hearing him say that he would go and see if he could get him to eat. She would have pestered the hell of of Celestine herself to get him to eat dinner but she really wasn't in the mood to get on his bad side. Kanone was family though so he could get on Celestine's bad side without that turning into a forever thing, right? She sighed softly, sounding almost relieved. "...I hope you can get him to eat ...at least a little."

Hikari was quiet as she waited for Kyran to get around to telling her how he was doing and then nodded slightly when he said that he was worn out both physically and emotionally. She had kind of expected as much from him. "...Yes...I think we could all use a good rest..." she said softly. She knew that she could, as well as Nanashi, LaRae, Kanone, and Celestine, and Kyran already admitted that he was worn out, so he could probably use a little R&R as well. She resumed eating her food as well, and then glanced over to Kamaria briefly when she sat down to start eating as well, but neither of them spoke. Hikari was running low on dinner topics, so it was a little easier to just eat her dinner quietly and just speak when spoken to, and she had a feeling Kamaria was in the same boat at the moment.

Kyiri rolled back over onto her stomach again once Nero had picked up his plate and her ears perked up when he forked the piece of chicken and she watched him intently until he started to raise it toward his own mouth, then her ears fell back flat and she laid down again, crossing her front paws while dropping her head onto them, looking both disappointed and a little sad. She was hungry just like the rest of them, she didn't know why he couldn't share a little. Apparently she was just going to have to go harass Aamori into giving her some treats, assuming she could get inside without changing forms again. She glanced back to Nero again when he held the fork out to her and stared at the untouched piece of chicken for a moment before getting up and edging closer to it. She looked at him for a moment before reaching out and snatching the chicken in her teeth, though as soon as she had it she slipped it off of the fork and darted away from Nero as if she thought he was going to take it away from her again before she laid down in the grass a few feet away and started to munch on it, though one could probably still her her rattly purr while she chewed. It didn't take her long to finish the little piece of chicken off, and as soon as she was done sniffing around for anything that she might have dropped, she scurried back to Nero and sat down while looking up at him again, still licking her lips from her last little tidbit.

Kanone sighed softly and nodded a little. "Yeah, yeah...he'll eat something, like it or not..." he said simply before he started to polish off the last little bit of his own dinner. Once he was done he went ahead and stood up with his plate before starting toward the kitchen. He glanced around for a moment and then edged over to the sink and sat the plate and fork down carefully before heading toward the door with a soft sigh. He guessed now was as good a time as any to try and get Celestine to eat some of his dinner...before it got too cold.

Kyran had glanced briefly to Kamaria when she had come back inside and taken a seat at the table. He didn’t really mind how quiet it had gotten; it gave plenty of time for everyone to eat. He continued to stay quiet just as both Hikari and Kamaria had and ate his dinner. He did finally have something he wanted to ask that he had thought about a little while he was eating. He paused and glanced over to Hikari for a moment. “…How long do you think before that guard Gwyn comes looking for you and finds you?” He asked curiously. “…I mean I’m sure he’ll come back out looking for you once he finds out you haven’t returned and this house, well, it wouldn’t really be that hard to find if they really scavenged and I’m sure they’d check just to be sure.” All in all he was kind of curious just how long they might have to rest here before someone showed up for her. Surely that guard Gwyn would come looking for her, sooner or later.

Nero was slightly amused at how disappointed Kyiri had looked when he looked like he wasn’t going to share his dinner with her. He really hadn’t felt like eating so he had no reason not to share, other than he was going to let Reyes pick at the plate once he had finished with his own. He shook his head lightly when Kyiri finally took the chicken off of the fork and then bound away from him to eat it. The fact that she was even remotely afraid he might take it away from her made him want to laugh a little. He kept an eye on her while she ate and wasn’t surprised to see her come back over after double checking that she hadn’t missed anything. He moved the fork and plucked another piece of chicken from the plate and then held it out to her again. He really didn’t mind too much feeding Kyiri this time so of course when she finished with that piece of chicken he was prepared to fish another one out for her, until she was full or he ran out of chicken, whichever came first.

Aamori smiled very slightly after hearing Kanone and then she went back to eating her dinner. Now that there wasn’t really a whole lot to converse about she could get back to eating. She didn’t raise her eyes again to look at Kanone until he had finished eating and had stood up to head for the kitchen. “…Thank you.” She said quietly. She was really kind of glad that he was going to go pester Celestine into eating something. She was worried enough about Celestine as it was she didn’t really want to add his lack of eating anything at all to the top of the list of reasons to be worried about him. She knew of course that he didn’t eat a lot as it was but it had been a while since the last time he so much as had a bite to eat. She went back to her dinner for a few moments, well after Kanone had left the room though she lifted her eyes again when she saw LaRae starting to stand up. LaRae had been done with her dinner for a little while now so she wasn’t that surprised to see her getting up.

LaRae got to her feet a little bit after Kanone had left the room. She needed to do something with her plate and fork and she wasn’t going to just leave them where they were. She glanced over to Aamori briefly when she noticed her looking at her and then smiled slightly. “I’m just going to take care of these.” She said as she moved her plate and fork a little. She then started to head for the kitchen. She went straight for the sink and rather than leave her dishes in the sink like Kanone had she turned the water on and started to clean them off, both hers and Kanone’s dishes. She knew she probably didn’t have to clean them but it was something she usually did unless someone ran her off. She liked cleaning the dishes at least, especially if she didn’t cook dinner. She hurried through cleaning them since there were so few and set them off to dry.

Hikari glanced over to Kyran briefly when he finally asked her about Gwyn and then sighed softly as she laid her fork down. "...Well...there's no telling really. It could be anywhere from a couple more hours until sometime tomorrow. I'm certain he'll report to the captain that he saw me, and if that's the case...well, it could be longer." She half smiled and tilted her head a little. "I'm fairly certain Ishta knows exactly where I would go, I don't think she would worry as much as everyone else." Ishta was pretty aware of how well she could take care of herself, after all she had been the one that taught her most of her tricks, and even if she was injured...well, Kamaria was a retired healer. She didn't do that much in the healing department anymore, but she could still manage, especially if it was something as small as the cuts on her face. In other words, if Hikari could heal it, Kamaria would have no trouble with it.
Kamaria glanced over to Kyran when he started to ask about the guards looking for her and then sighed when she heard Selenity's answer. "Selen, when are you going to start acting like the lady you are? You're going to have to stop slipping away from your guards, you're going to give poor Ishta a heart attack one of these days...." She shook her head again once she was through scolding.
Hikari's ears dropped back when she heard Kamaria scolding her. "But if I don't ditch them I can't come out here to see you, Granny," she said innocently.
Kamaria just shook her head again, "You shouldn't be sneaking out to see an old woman in the middle of nowhere anyway..."
"You know you enjoy it," she said simply before she went back to eating again.
Kamaria just sighed again. "Well, I never said that I didn't... That's just not something you should be doing."

Kyiri didn't hesitate as long this time before she reached up to pull the chicken off of the fork and then scampered off with it, though she didn't move away far away this time either while she chewed up her food. Once she had finished off that piece she turned about again and moved back over to Nero's side again, looking up at him until she'd gotten her off another piece. This time she didn't bother scampering off to eat it and just cut straight to the chase and started chowing down where she sat. She was still purring loudly, obviously pleased to finally be getting to eat something as well, though she had noticed that Nero wasn't eating anything. She tilted her head slightly and meowed softly before nosing his hand gently like she was trying to push it up toward his face. He hadn't eaten any sooner than anyone else had, so she didn't want to take all of his food.

Kanone glanced over to Celestine once he was outside and then started over in that direction with a soft sigh as he stepped off of the porch. He bumped Celestine's back with his foot and then waited for some acknowledgment before he bumped him again since he didn't get any. "...Hey, Cel...get up and eat your dinner. Aamori already picked all of the chicken out of it for you, you can at least take a few bites of it. You've got to be hungry by now, it's been two days since you last ate."
Celestine groaned softly when Kanone kept kicking him and telling him to get up. Damn Aamori to hell for going and whining to him that he wouldn't eat. "...I don't want it..." he said dully without raising his head. "If you want it, you eat it...you like to eat." he said simply.
Kanone sighed heavily and then knelt down and snagged Celestine's shoulder before pulling him over a little. "Hey...it's not a matter of who eats it...you need to eat something, Cel. I'm not taking you bull crap tonight. I know you don't want it, but get your ass up and eat it anyway. I don't want to hear 'I can't' either, when you puke then I'll believe you. Now get up...or do I have to fork it up for you and stuff it in your mouth myself?"
Celestine glowered at Kanone when he rolled him over and his tail flicked the ground hard when he gave him the ultimatum of eat or get it stuffed down his throat. Knowing Kanone, he'd probably damn try too... Finally he huffed and pushed himself up angrily before leaning forward to press his head into his hands. Sitting up was bad enough in itself right now without trying to choke down food, especially something he was unfamiliar with, but if it would shut everyone up he'd try it. He waited until Kanone had put his plate in his lap and then picked up the fork and stabbed it into the food before stuffing it into his mouth and chewing it up quickly only to swallow so that he barely even tasted it.

Kyran listened while Hikari answered his question and then gave a very subtle nod of his head mostly acknowledging that he had heard what she had said. He supposed it was silly to hope she might have a more accurate answer. Since there clearly wasn’t any way to be certain he kind of hoped that they would have more time to rest, or at least enough to get everyone rested a bit. He shook his head very slightly after she had brought up Ishta. He had only really met the woman once and he wasn’t really sure that even constituted properly meeting the woman. They had briefly been introduced and then that was the end of it. He glanced to Kamaria momentarily when she spoke up to scold Hikari and then shook his head again very faintly with remnants of a smile on his face. It was kind of amusing to listen to Hikari being scolded like that though it probably amused him more that Kamaria wasn’t afraid to scold her own Princess. He kept quiet while the two of them went back and forth briefly and then looked at Kamaria. “In her defense this one time, there were extenuating circumstances that led her to be separated from the guards, so it wasn’t really a matter of her ditching the guards.” He glanced over to the sink briefly, having not really noticed LaRae right away. He felt a little silly not noticing her right away but he did finally see her. “Oh, that reminds me.” He started as he stared over at LaRae. “LaRae, I was supposed to let you know that Nanashi was awake if you wanted to go up and see him yourself.” He paused. “…That was before I sat down for dinner, so he may have dozed off since then though…” He added. He wasn’t sure exactly how tired Nanashi was but he wouldn’t put it past him to have already fallen asleep. He kind of wished he had let LaRae know sooner but now was better than not at all.

LaRae didn’t bother to really pay attention to the conversation at the table. It didn’t involve her so she was trying to ignore it while she took care of the dishes and washed her hands. She did look up from the sink when she heard her name and looked over at Kyran. She smiled very slightly and then nodded her head a little after hearing what he said. “…Okay, thank you for letting me know.” She responded quietly. She did want to know how he was doing and this way it looked like she might get to know firsthand by going up and seeing him. “I think I may go see if he is still awake.” She commented quietly. What little smile she had faded rather easily once she remembered something. She lifted her hand to her cheek lightly and then sighed quietly. She really did need to get a look at that herself before she ventured upstairs. She hadn’t seen it yet and without knowing how it looked she couldn’t be sure she could cover it up. The redness to her face was liable to worry him and bring up questions if it was too bad. She sighed again and lowered her hand. “…Where’s the bathroom?” She asked quietly since she was in need of a mirror.

Nero watched Kyiri in silence while he continued to feed her the chicken from his plate. He didn’t mind this so much, so long as Kyiri wasn’t being annoying and he certainly knew first hand just how annoying she could be in this form. He glanced over to Reyes briefly every so often but he returned his gaze to Kyiri rather quickly. He stared down at her when he felt her nosing his hand and then sighed as he lifted his hand away from her reach. “Stop that.” He told her quietly and then fished another piece of the chicken from the plate before holding the fork where she could reach it. “Just eat.” He added as he stared down at her waiting for her to take the chicken.

Reyes ate quietly and rather quickly. He hadn’t eaten in a while himself so he was really rather ravenous. He hadn’t even been paying much attention to anything else, at least for a little while. He did finally look up from his near empty plate when he heard Kyiri meow. He stared over at her for a moment and watched Nero’s response to the cat before shaking his head slightly. “I think she wants you to eat too, or maybe she’s curious as to why you’re not eating.” He paused. “…I know I am… why aren’t you eating? Are you not hungry?” He asked and then went back to his own dinner for a moment while he waited for an answer.

Nero glanced up and over at Reyes when he heard him speak and then stared down at Kyiri momentarily. He really wasn’t that interested in eating right now and he didn’t really have a good reason not to eat other then he didn’t feel like it. He knew he could probably stand to eat something so it wasn’t really like he wasn’t hungry but he wasn’t starving either. He sighed quietly and stared down at the plate he had for a moment. “I’m not very hungry. I can eat later when I’m ready.” He answered. He was kind of glad that it was Reyes with him at the moment. He could get away with not eating around him, unlike with Hikari and Kanone. He shook his head lightly at the thought. “…Don’t worry about it, I’m alright.”

Reyes managed another bite or two before Nero answered and he just kind of stared over at him without a word for a few moments before he nodded his head a little. “…Alright …if you say so.” He said quietly. “I still think you should probably eat something. I don’t know when the last time you ate was but I don’t think you need to go until you’re starving or something if you have food in front of you.” He added. “But go ahead and eat when you feel like it.” He gave in easily enough and didn’t really feel like pushing the matter. Nero was an adult and he could eat whenever he pleased. He went back to his dinner and wasted little time at all finishing it up.

Hikari just half smiled and shook her head at Kamaria. That little go around was almost routine with them. Kamaria always enjoyed it when she came over, but at the same time, she always got onto her for it. It was against the rules for her to leave the palace without an escort, and frankly...she didn't like being escorted. Unfortunately for her people, her home wasn't like Aamori's training center, there were far too many means for her to escape to block them all off, and Hikari wasn't beyond using any one of them. If they locked her in her room and barred the windows, she'd climb out the fricking chimney if she had to. She always had the guards baffled when it came to getting out of the castle, they still hadn't figured out all of her tricks. She nodded slightly when Kyran spoke up for her and then sighed softly. "Yes...some the guards were sent out over a disturbance, which of course involved us and those hunters... LaRae disappeared on us, so I sent the guards to find her and...well, we sent two of the canines as well. The canines brought her back, but the guards never showed up and then another canine came back with a piece of one of their cloaks, so I sent Gwyn to tend to them while we came here." She sighed softly before glancing down to her plate again. She was hoping that nothing had happened to Gwyn while he was out looking for the others either. She already felt bad enough that something had obviously happened to the other three after she'd sent them off, she didn't need a fourth incident on her hands.

Kamaria listened to Kyran silently and then glanced over to Selenity when she filled in the blanks. She sighed softly and shook her head a little. "...I see..." she said softly. She glanced to Kyran again briefly when he told LaRae about Nanashi and then started to resume eating again, at least until she heard LaRae ask for the bathroom. "Oh, it's right in there, dear," she said as she pointed toward the living room to the door that was more or less under the stairs, "Or there is another upstairs, the last door on along the hall."

Kyiri sat down and tilted her head when Nero told her to 'stop that' and pulled his hand away from her. She just mewed again as she stared up to him and glanced at the chicken when it was offered. She didn't take it right away, rather she just sighed and glanced to Reyes when she spoke up. She meowed again, a little louder, to agree with her and then looked back to Nero expectantly, though she did finally slide the chicken off of the fork with her teeth while she waited. She didn't see why he wasn't eating. Who knew when they'd get something again? She finished off her little piece of chicken and then mewed again before nuzzling her head against Nero's side gently and looking up at him before nosing the bottom edge of his plate and looking back up to him. She just felt bad taking all the good parts of h is food, he should eat at lest a few bites of chicken. She didn't know what all of the other junk on the plate was, but she didn't think it looked too good, she sure wasn't gonna eat it.

Kyran had left what he had said at ‘extenuating circumstances’ only because he wasn’t sure how much Hikari had wanted Kamaria to know, not that she didn’t likely already know a good portion of what had gone on but outright saying Guards were possibly in danger would most likely only be alarming. Or well, in his opinion it would be, especially since no one really knew what had happened to the guards or what had gotten them… if something or someone did get them. He looked to Hikari as she started to go into a bit more detail about what had happened with the guards and then nodded his head a little as she finished. He was a little concerned himself about the wellbeing of the guards but ‘guards’ themselves were usually better trained then most average people so they could take care of themselves, most of the time. He glanced between Hikari and Kamaria briefly. “I’m sure the guards will be alright.” He said reassuringly. He shifted his glance back towards LaRae and smiled a little after she had said that she may go up and see if he was still awake. Nanashi didn’t say it outright, that he wanted LaRae to go upstairs and see him but he was pretty sure Nanashi wanted that and just wasn’t going to say that.

LaRae waited patiently for an answer to where the bathroom was and then nodded slightly after being told where two of them where. She probably could have found either of them on her own but it was a lot easier to just ask. “Thank you.” She responded quietly before she excused herself from the kitchen and started back into the living room. She went straight for the door to the bathroom under the stairs. She slipped inside relatively quickly and shut the door behind her. She had moved her hand up to her cheek along the way so she couldn’t see the worse cheek once she was in the bathroom and in front of the mirror. Both of her cheeks were red but the one was already fading, it was just barely noticeable now. She sighed quietly as she stared in the mirror. She could already tell the other cheek was worse. Her hand just barely hid all of the redness the way she held it. She slowly lowered her hand from her cheek and cringed once her eyes met the reflection of her cheek. Oh good lord was it still red and looked like it might be for a little while. She leaned a little closer to the mirror and turned her head to the side slightly so that she could get a better look. After a moment she finally straightened up and sighed a little heavier. The blood vessels most certainly had burst and it really wasn’t very pretty. She separated a portion of her hair and tried to position it so that it hid her cheek but there really was little point since it would only be obvious that she was trying to hide it. She sighed heavily once again and finally just slid her hair back behind her ear. She was amazed that no one had really brought up her cheek or even questioned it but she was kind of glad that no real attention had been drawn to it. She just wished she could forget exactly how it had happened. She hadn’t been awake for the start of the slapping but she did finally come around and unfortunately well after the damage had been done. She just hoped that Nanashi ignored it like everyone else had. She really didn’t want to have to admit to him what had happened and who did it, especially since they had gone so long without hearing from him.

Nero really was glad that Reyes had left him alone about eating after he had said his peace. He really didn’t feel like fighting anyone on eating right now and certainly not his own cousin. He thought he might be getting some relief from the whole topic, at least until Kyiri started on him herself. He stared down at her for a moment before sighing almost heavily. “Just drop it. I don’t feel like eating. I’ll eat something later.” He repeated himself as he picked up the plate from his lap and held it out of Kyiri’s reach. He really didn’t need a cat telling him to eat, that was almost as bad as Hikari and Kanone… well… maybe worse? No. Hikari and Kanone could talk, bitch and complain about his eating habits a cat could do no more than meow. Er… until it mystically changed forms so it could complain properly. He shook his head lightly and then noticed that Reyes had finished his plate and had set it down beside him. He smirked very faintly and started to lower the plate a little. He stabbed the fork into two more pieces of chicken, likely the only remaining pieces and then passed the plate off to Reyes. “You’re still hungry right, finish that.” He told him before lowering the fork he kept to Kyiri’s level. “And you… finish this; you’re probably not going to see more right away.” He told Kyiri.

Reyes only looked back to Nero when he passed off his plate to him. He couldn’t say he hadn’t expected that. If he wasn’t going to eat it and the cat probably wouldn’t, then someone had to. He was still a little hungry and without the chicken in this one it would probably be better and not be too much food for him. Or maybe his eyes would wind up bigger than his stomach. He held onto the plate and retrieved his fork from the other and then glanced to Nero briefly. “…Thanks.” He said quietly and then started to work on the plate he had been given. He figured that Nero thought aside from his being hungry still that doing away with this plate might stop Kyiri too. He just hoped for Kyiri’s sake she did stop or Nero was liable to get really annoyed.

Hikari glanced back up to Kyran when he said that he was sure the guards would be alright. "Yes...I hope so," she agreed quietly. She wasn't very concerned about telling Kamaria what was going on. She told Kamaria nearly everything, and she was pretty sure Kamaria could handle it whatever it was. It really wasn't like Kamaria to go spazzing out over every little thing, so knowing about the issue in the woods probably wouldn't affect her too much other than to alert her that she needed to be careful. She glanced over to LaRae again for a moment when she started to heard toward the bathroom and then sighed. She had a feeling she knew why the girl wanted to head for a bathroom. She had of course noticed the nasty red place on her cheek, but there wasn't a whole lot she could do about it right now...though Kamaria might be able to get rid of it, she was pretty sure it would go away on it's own sometime soon. She finally started to pick at the rest of her dinner again, wanting to hurry and finish up with what she had.

Kamaria smiled slightly at LaRae whens he thanked her and nodded slightly. "...And thank you, dear," she said since she had noticed that LaRae had done the dishes for her. Well, that was a few less she was going to have to clean. She couldn't say that washing dishes was her favorite household chore, so having so many to wash wasn't going to be too fin, not that she minded the extra work, it was just a little tedious getting everything cleaned up again. She didn't bother to comment again on the guards. She was fairly certain they could hold their own...but then again, they didn't do a very good job of keeping Selenity inside the palace.

Kyiri let out an almost annoyed sounding meow when he said he would eat something later. What was he going to eat later when everyone had already finished everything off? She watched as he forked up more chicken and then passed the plate off to Reyes. She just sat there and stared at him for a moment before looking at the chicken on the fork again. Of course she was still hungry, she was the type to eat whenever food was offered if it looked eatable. She finally plucked the first piece off of the fork carefully and held it in her mouth before nudging Nero's arm with her head lightly. She was at least giving him every chance in the world to share the good stuff with her. She looked up at him again with those big amber eyes and then sat back and tilted her head again. She was still holding her piece in her mouth, though it was making it water so badly she finally had to put it down and eat it, though once it was gone she looked right back up to him again, however her pestering stare was interrupted by quite a massive yawn. It was getting close to time she usually curled up for the night so she could be all over everyone's nerves bright and early in the morning.

Kyran watched while LaRae left the room and headed for the bathroom and then went back to eating so that he could finish off his dinner. He noticed the redness to LaRae’s face but what point was there in bringing that up when she most likely already knew about it. There also wasn’t anything that he could do about it. The only thing he may have said was to ask how it happened. He had a guess of course but he could be wrong and he wouldn’t know without asking but for now he didn’t really want to pester her with the details. In his eyes it was a little more important for her to see Nanashi then answer his questions.

Nero sighed a little heavily after listening to Kyiri and her attempt to try and get him to eat too. He was starting to get really annoyed with this but on the other hand dealing with Kyiri like this was a little easier then dealing with Hikari or Kanone. At least she couldn’t try and force food down his throat and worst case scenario he could always toss her out into the yard and tell her to leave him alone. He didn’t bother touching the other piece of chicken on the fork. He really didn’t want it and besides he had gotten it from the plate specifically for Kyiri. He watched her as she finally broke down and ate the piece she had been holding in her mouth. Once the staring commenced he just stared back at her while still holding the fork at her level. He did crack a very faint smile when she yawned like she did. He waved the fork in front of her a little and then waited for her to take the chicken. “Take it and then go find somewhere to sleep. You look tired.”

LaRae was just about ready to leave the bathroom since she had already gotten to use the mirror but she stayed a bit longer, just long enough to properly wash her face. She knew that wasn’t really going to help anything but it did feel good to wash up a little. Once she was finished and had dried off her face and hands she glanced at her wrists. At least the bruising was finally started to fade more, on her wrists anyway. She was pretty sure that her ankles weren’t fairing as well since they were almost in constant use and in boots no less. She sighed softly and finally opened the door to exit the bathroom, making sure to have turned the light off behind her. Rather than going straight for the stairs she went back to the couch, just long enough to sit down and untie her shoes. She slipped them off and set them as out of the way as possible beside the couch. She was up and walking on her own and fairing pretty well as far as balance was concerned but she wasn’t sure how well she would do with stairs so she wanted to remove the one thing that might hinder her. Once her boots were off she looked over at Aamori who was still eating. “…I’m going upstairs to see how Nanashi is doing.” She told her quietly before getting back to her feet. She didn’t bother to stay where she was very long after saying that and almost immediately headed for the stairs. She made sure to take a good firm hold of the banister once she had started to head up the steps and took them one at a time and a bit cautiously just to be safe. She reached the top of the stairs without a hitch. She wasn’t entirely sure what room Nanashi had been placed in but there were only three by the looks of it and one of them was a bathroom and then one of them was Kamaria’s room. She inched closer to the door that had been open, leaning more towards that one being the one Nanashi was in. It made sense since Kyran had just recently carried down the food he took up to Nanashi. She peeked into the doorway and eyed the bed. She was a little relieved to see he was in the bed and she wasn’t going to have to check the other rooms as well. She stepped into the room and closed the door just a little behind her before starting towards the bed to see if he was awake or not.

Kyiri finally sighed when Nero started to wave the chicken at her and just reached up to take it as well. Apparently he wasn't going to eat it, so she may as well. She chewed it up and then yawned again before looked up at him since he'd told her to go find somewhere to sleep. She looked around for a few moments and then looked back to Nero again before she moved over to him and crawled up into his lap before curling up into a little ball and nuzzling her head against his stomach. She knew Celestine wasn't feeling well and Kanone was probably inside somewhere, so she was kind of lacking anyone to sleep with except Esen. She didn't think Zale would let her sleep, and Reyes still kind of gave her the creeps, though it was more Shen that scared her than Reyes. However, she was well aware that Shen was hidden in Reyes's shadow, so she didn't really want to go curling up on her.

Nanashi had merely rolled onto his side for now and curled back up facing away from the door. His eyes were closed for now, but he wasn't entirely asleep just yet. He cracked his eyes open a little when he heard someone come into the room and then slowly turned his head back a little to see who it was. He was kind of hoping for LaRae, but he wouldn't be surprised to see Kyran or Hikari. Once he saw LaRae he sighed softly in relief and then rolled back onto his back again. "...Hey..." he said quietly as he tried to push himself up a little. He still hated laying down on everyone when they came to see him, so he would rather at the very least sit up for them. He didn't even notice LaRae's face at the moment, though that was partially because she was halfway across the room and he wasn't really focusing on it. It wouldn't take him long to notice it once she got closer. "...Sorry...I didn't get to see you...when you got back..." he said quietly.

Nero waited until Kyiri had taken the last piece of chicken and then started to pass the fork over towards Reyes since he didn’t very well want to sit there and hold onto it. After Reyes took it from him and set it down with the other empty plate he glanced back to Kyiri in time to see her preparing to crawl up into his lap. “I told you to go find somewhere to sleep… that didn’t mean sleep on me…” He muttered quietly and then sighed heavily after she had made herself comfortable in his lap. He didn’t particularly want to be Kyiri’s bed but he also didn’t feel like fighting her on it right now, so maybe just this once she could stay where she was. “…Don’t get too used to this…” He commented with a sigh and then leaned his head back against the house.

LaRae smiled a bit when she saw Nanashi start to roll over on the bed. She was glad to see that he was still awake. Had he been asleep she wouldn’t have bothered waking him and likely would have left the room after sitting there for a few moments. “…Hi…” She responded quietly. She edged closer to the bed while he tried to push himself up. “…You didn’t need to sit up.” She commented as he was sitting up. She shook her head a little after hearing him say sorry for not getting to see her when she got back. “It’s alright.” She paused. “…I wasn’t really in any shape to see anyone when I got back anyway…” She told him quietly. “…So… how are you feeling?” She paused. “…and …well …what happened to you? No one really said anything to me.” She said with a quiet sigh.

Kyiri looked up to Nero again for a moment when he told her not to get used to this and then just lowered her head and nuzzled against his stomach again. She just wanted somewhere warm to sleep for the night. After all, even with all that fur, she could still get a little chilly laying off by herself somewhere, so it was nice having someone warm to snuggle up against. She yawned again and then curled in on herself a little more before starting to try to go to sleep. Of course normally she liked to sleep with Celestine, but tonight...Nero just seemed like the safer bet.

Nanashi sighed softly when LaRae told him that he didn't need to sit up, though he still tried to prop himself up just a little nonetheless, at least so that he wasn't laying completely down. He just looked up at her for a moment when she said that she wasn't in the shape to see anyone when she got back anyway. Well, he probably knew that, but even still he would have liked to have tried. "...I'm...alright," he said quietly when she asked how he was, "...My head hurts a little...." His head was still aching pretty badly and there was a knot on the side where he had been hit, but it was of course hidden by his hair. On top of that he was of course tired, but he didn't want to worry her too much, so he would prefer to just leave it at he was stuck in bed...again. He wished that she hadn't asked her second question, which was probably evident in the way he glanced away. He didn't want to tell her what had happened to him, but he was pretty sure that she would only ask someone else and get the answer later, so he may as well spill the beans. "...I... There were two hunters...near us, after you were sedated...I...didn't see them, they came up behind us... One got me with some kind of...ball and chain with a sickle on the other end.... He just knocked me over with it... And the other one...was...about to......he was...going for you.... I just...tackled him without thinking. I...I don't really know what happened after that point...I wasn't paying much attention...." He shuddered slightly as he admitted that he hadn't been paying attention. he knew that were it not for everyone else, that could have cost them both their lives, but he just hadn't been able to make himself function after that. He finally pulled is hand up to his coat and pulled it back a little to reveal the rip in the side of his shirt, which was coated in mostly dried blood by now. It was probably a good thing for Kamaria's bedsheets that the interior of his coat was waterproof. Of course the wound was closed but Hikari had left as scar there this time, it just looked smoother than it would have if it had healed on it's own. He really didn't know what had happened between when he'd tackled the man down and when Nobu had come to him to point out that he was bleeding. Between his head trauma and his shock at having just killed a man, he was a little oblivious to everything else around him. He glanced back up to her slowly after a moment and stared at her for a moment, wanting to get the attention off of him now. "...What...happened to your face?" he asked softly.

LaRae stood near the bed and waited for Nanashi to answer her questions. She wasn’t surprised to hear him say that he was alright, that was usually the answer that was given but nonetheless she was kind of relieved. She nodded her head slightly after he had said that his head hurt a little. If she had thought about it before she might have thought to bring up that gel pack that Kamaria had said she could have. Nanashi wasn’t really a big fan of cold but even so a gel pack with such a nice scent would probably feel pretty good on the head when it ached. She grew a little worried seeing Nanashi glance away like he did. That of course made her want to know what happened all the more and if he wasn’t speaking she was going to go downstairs and find someone who would. She was a little glad that Nanashi decided to answer her second question. She really didn’t want to have to go ask someone else but she would have if she had to. She listened quietly as he answered and as she listened really wished she hadn’t been sedated. It sounded like Nanashi dealt with a good deal more then he needed to and if she hadn’t been hit with that dart she could have taken care of the hunters that apparently snuck up on them rather than him. “…I’m sorry…” She responded quietly. She wasn’t sure what else to say and she was sorry that he had been left alone in that situation. She lowered her eyes down to his coat when he started to move it and then eyed the rip in his shirt then spotted the remains. Her eyes widened slightly and she almost instantly put her hand out then started to move closer. She couldn’t believe he’d gotten hurt bad enough to leave a scar and she was there when it happened… just lying on the ground… sedated. She paused, pulled her hand back and sighed almost heavily. She hated seeing that he’d been hurt and unfortunately that did kind of explain some things. Her attention shifted pretty quickly when she heard him ask what happened to her face. She absently lifted her hand to her face and then sighed softly. “…I got hit …that’s all.” She paused. “…I’m pretty sure the blood vessels burst ……it’ll look better soon enough…” She said quietly and then started to sit down on her knees beside the bed. She didn’t exactly want to talk about what had happened to her either so she hadn’t really bothered making eye contact when she said what she had or while she was sitting down on her knees.

Nanashi shook his head weakly when he heard LaRae apologize. "...Don't be..." he said quietly, "...It wasn't your fault...." He was sure they all could agree that he was the lousiest among them in the self defense range. It was his fault he wasn't able to defend himself properly. He hadn't really looked at his side before so he wasn't aware of how it looked...at least not until he saw LaRae's expression and thought to look at it himself. He made a bit of a face when he saw the mess. If he'd known it looked like that he wouldn't have shown her at all, at least not until he'd been able to clean up and clean off his clothes and his side. He dropped his coat back over the remnants of the wound again and then looked back to LaRae with a soft sigh. Nanashi of course wasn't entirely satisfied with the answer to his question, mostly because it was so entirely vague. Once she was seated he absently reached over and placed his chilled hand against her reddened cheek, gently caressing it while running his thumb over her cheek bone. "...Hit...with what?" he asked softly. "...It wasn't like that...before..." He knew nothing had hit LaRae before he'd tackled that hunter, or at least nothing he had seen. He supposed something could have very well hit her while he was off on his own little planet, but somehow he had a feeling it had more to do with when she disappeared. Unfortunately for LaRae, even in this state, Nanashi was relatively perceptive. "...It wasn't...him again...?" He knew Renso had a tendency to drag LaRae off on her own and he wasn't beyond hurting her. He'd done it before several times already.

LaRae lifted her eyes slightly after Nanashi had said ‘Don’t be’ and that it wasn’t her fault. She knew it wasn’t really her fault and no one would say it was but she still felt terrible that a stupid little dart was enough to take her down like it did. Had that not touched her Nanashi probably wouldn’t have gotten hurt and she probably wouldn’t have disappeared like she did and with whom she did. She hadn’t really bothered to make steady eye contact with him mostly because if she was speaking she didn’t want to give away that Renzo had been the one that stole her away from everyone else. She figured Nanashi would be able to tell she wasn’t being truly honest with him by looking at her face while she spoke so she did at least try to keep her face turned away from him when she needed to say something. She hadn’t been expecting him to reach out and touch her cheek, let alone that his hand would be cold so she did startle very slightly but it faded about as fast as its onset. She couldn’t resist looking at him after that and leaned into his hand very slightly. She wasn’t the least bit surprised to hear him ask for specifics on what she had been hit with. She just wished that he hadn’t asked. It was going to be harder to keep Renzo’s name out of the conversation at this rate. She was quiet while she tried to think of something to say. She didn’t want to flat out lie to him about what she was hit with but she didn’t want to admit to who it had been. Was there even a fine line between the two that she could use? She sighed quietly; unsure of what she could possibly say other than a complete lie or the honest truth. She still wasn’t sure what to say to answer his question and was rather caught off guard by the one that soon followed. She didn’t think that she had mentioned his name at any one time or even hinted at it being Renzo but here he had already picked up on who it had been. She lowered her eyes a bit and eventually shut them all together before letting out a sigh. She really had hoped to keep him in the dark about who had actually hit her but she kind of knew that wasn’t going to be possible. Nanashi had been pretty good at telling when she lied and was bound to figure it out eventually. “…….Unfortunately……..” She muttered quietly. “……I don’t know …how long he was hitting me…” She paused. “…He said he was just waking me up…” She mumbled quietly.

Nanashi's ears laid back slightly when he heard LaRae confirm that it had been Renzo who had done this to her face, but at the same time he actually looked irritated for once. Clearly he wasn't very fond of Renzo from his previous meeting. He couldn't stand anyone who would willingly make a bad situation worse just to make themselves look superior to the person who was actually trying to help. Though he supposed a lot of dragons would probably be like that if he were the one trying to solve the problem. Who was going to take advice from or let a halfbreed outdo them? Either way, he had hurt LaRae just trying to show out, and that really got to him. He kept his hand against the side of LaRae's face and sighed as he stroked her cheek again. "...There are other ways to go about that...," he muttered quietly when she said that he said he was trying to wake her up. His hand was starting to feel pretty heavy and holding it up was getting to be a chore so he finally started to lower it back to the bed again. "...What did he want this time?" he asked dryly. He knew every time Renzo showed up he was after something or had some kind of order for her or an update of some kind.
