Celestine stared at her for a moment. "...I know that." He said simply, "But you told me that you would be at the lake with the others if I cared." he pointed out. "I know enough about the water clan, I am not completely ignorant of the way dragons from other clans function." he said simply. "...That is just like I prefer to be in high areas...you can feel the wind better." he said simply. "...I miss the mountains." He looked away from her again with a soft sigh. He really did just want to go back to the mountains and get back in familiar territory. "...I miss them but now I dread getting back to them..." He sighed again and shook his head. He had a pretty good idea of where they would need to go for his artifact...and it was not a pleasant place by any means.
Nanashi nodded slightly when she leaned forward and carefully lifted the back of her shirt up over her shoulders and then untied the knot that Aamori had made." ...I'll be careful." he said softly as he started to tighten the bandages of her left wing. It didn't take him too long at all to do. In a matter of minutes he hand the bandages on both wings tightened and was trying to put the knot back where Aamori had it before. Once finished he pulled her shirt back down where it belonged and smiled weakly. "...Are you alright?" he asked softly, placing his hand on her back over where the bandages crossed to cover the mark.

Aamori payed enough attention to him to understand everything he had said. Picking out the word dread and steered away from that subject. She couldn't help but chuckle lightly; Completely changing the topic she lifted her head a little. "I'm surprised that you have not lost your voice yet..." She paused smiling a bit more warmly. "I don't think I've ever heard you talk this much." She smirked slightly. "It's nice to know you can open up to people a little."
LaRae flinched slightly when she felt him lift up the back of her shirt; Nervously she tightened the grip of her hands a little more. She bit her lip to keep herself from making any noise as he adjusted the bandages. Her wings ached as he tightened the wraps. Once he finished and started to pull her shirt back down she sighed softly. "Y-yes, I'm alright now." She paused and started to look over her shoulder at him. "...Thank you." She smiled faintly. "...I'd have done it myself... but... yeah, I couldn't" She chuckled lightly, then turned her head back and looked down at her hands as she finally let them fall into her lap. She lifted up the cuff on her wrist for a moment to look at the burn; She had one on each wrist but the one she was looking at itched worse and she was tempted to scratch it.

Celestine stared at Aamori for a moment when she made a comment about how much he was talking. "...Is that not what you wanted?" he asked, a bit of ire in his tone, "Do not chide me for talking to you if you wish for me to continue." He shook his head and sighed softly. "...I just...don't like to talk to people... The less people know of me, the more I like it... There are things that people do not need to know." He said simply. "...It's dangerous to open up too much."
Nanashi smiled weakly when she sat up again. "Yes...I know you couldn't do it yourself." he said with a soft laugh. "You're welcome, LaRae." he said softly. He scooted around to her side while she examined her wrist and looked down at it himself. He gently reached over to take her hand and pull it closer to his face so that he could examine the burn. "...Does it...hurt?" he asked softly, looking up to her again. He sighed and shook his head. "...They are so cruel to you..." When he looked back to her again he raised his hand to her cheek and brushed at the dried tear marks with his thumb. "...I really wish...I could help you..."

Aamori's mood quickly went sour hearing his response. She sighed heavily shutting her eyes and nearly burying her head completely into her knees. "You take things too seriously. I was only trying to lighten the mood..." She mumbled; Considering how her head was now hidden it could make it even harder to have heard a word that she said. She knew that opening up too much to people wasn't exactly a good thing. She had secrets herself, and not even LaRae knew the full extent of anything that had to do with her. She was surpisingly very different from LaRae; Where her friend needed comfort from her past, Aamori did not. She was much happier knowing that she was the only one who knew about it. Not to mention she was the only one who knew the exact reason for her pseudo exterior happy-go-luckiness. Thankfully only Celestine and LaRae had clearly seen what her real self looked like, and sounded like. Though not much changed when she was herself; The change was still clear. She shook her head softly. Of course there were things about yourself others didn't need to know. She wasn't an idiot, she knew all of this already.
LaRae was slightly startled when he reached for her hand. She wanted to cover it back up quickly but he'd already taken her hand; She tried to tug it back. She was tired of all these little injuries and marks and wished she didn't have them, so no one else could see them. She looked away when he examined the burn. "It doesn't hurt very much, I can barely feel it." She paused. "But it itches, a lot." Her ears perked up when he said they were cruel, and then she sighed again hearing he wished he could help. She could have immediately gone into a depressed state of mind, ranting about how she didn't think anyone could help her; But she stopped herself before she could do that. She stared down at her other hand, that lay in her lap. "It's only really cruel when you're looking in from the outside. When you're one of them, from my Clan... It all makes sense, somehow. I mean, if you were out to build the better army wouldn't you want nothing but your best warriors? Why bother with people who are weak, or can't control their own natural magic power? The weak would die before anything could be done and the ones like me... They'd end up destroying their own people along with the other Clan's warriors." She paused, sighing softly. "Looking at it that way, it makes sense. Which is how the Elders look at it. Since this is a time of war, the Elders don't want to loose their territory to another Clan. I could actually care less, but because I'm a 'marked' I have to care. Especially if I want to live longer then my allotted time. Those marked who want to live, they train by themselves; Trying to harness the power that threatens their Clan's existence." She took a deep breath, feeling like she was talking too much; But felt the need to continue. "I don't care for this war, or the Elders need for power. Therefore I chose not to learn to control myself. If I ever did, I'd end up like Renzo... Working for the Elders... I don't want that. The Elder of my branch, Renzo's boss; Knows of my dormant powers and their extent. He wants them. Which is why Renzo was ordered to keep an eye on me." She suddenly remembered the letter she'd stuffed in her back pocket. She thought about reading it but didn't want to yet; Not with Nanashi around. She finally stopped talking, having plenty more she could go into but thought she'd give his ears a break.

Celestine stared at her for a moment, barely able to hear her words. "...In three days you have gathered that I take things seriously...and yet you continue to tease me." he said simply. "...And then wonder why I am so irritable." He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. "...Not that it matters... it does not take much." He shook his head and looked back to her, climbing to his feet slowly, snatching up his swallow in one hand. "...I am going to look for the lake again... You can come with me if you want." he said simply, holding his hand out to her for a moment.
Nanashi listened to her quietly and sighed softly. "...Does everyone have to be a warrior? So what if you are weak? So what if you can't control your powers? They don't have to throw everyone onto the battlefield." He sighed and shook his head, "Even still...they marked you... that is no excuse for this" he said, holding up her wrist so that she could see the marks on them again, "Ir this..." He released her hand and gently ran his fingers over her cheek where she'd been hit. "...It is senseless... And no matter what you say it does not justify it nor make sense of it. It is cruelty no matter what their 'reasons.'" He said firmly. He shook his head again and finally just wrapped is arms around her tightly. "...I am sorry... If you can accept it I should be able to as well... but I cannot."

Aamori kept her head buried until she heard him get to his feet. She lifted her head focusing her eyes on the extended hand. She too wanted to find the lake, and she'd sat and rested long enough. Not to mention she'd warmed herself a bit. She let her wings unhook and return to clinging to her back folded up neatly. Ordinarily she might have taken the hand offered to her but she just stare at it for a moment before speaking. "Thanks, but I can get up on my own... Don't think you want to feel how cold my hands are anyway..." She said softly as she started to get to her feet. As she stood her tail fell from her lap and rested behind her.
LaRae lowered her eyes slightly when he held her wrist up for her to see. Then sighed when he touched her cheek again. Why did he have to make everything she'd learned to deal with sound so terrible in such a short amount of time. Her cheeks went a soft pink when he wrapped his arms around her tightly. "I never said I accepted what my Clan does or how they work. I know what they're doing is wrong, but it makes some odd sense to me... somehow." She paused. "You still don't have anything to apologize for Nanashi... You should really stop saying you're sorry when you have not done anything..." She gently lifted her own hand up and touched her cheek; Renzo had hit her so hard before that it still hurt to touch. "...Renzo could've hurt me a lot worse... Though it was my fault that he hit me in the first place..." She mumbled dropping her hand back down.

Celestine dropped his hand back down again and just watched her get up. "I don't particularly care." He said simply when she said that she doubted he wanted to feel her hand, "I live in the mountains, it isn't all that warm." He turned back around and started to walk back in the direction he'd been going without another word to her. He looked around for a few moments and took a deep breath from the night air and sighed softly. "If we just keep going straight we will eventually either come out at the center or the other side of the forest...and if we leave the forest we can turn around and hear back toward the center...so either way we will get there."
Nanashi just held onto her until she told him that he needed to stop apologizing for things that he didn't do. He sighed and released her as he sat back, his ears drooping. "Sorry..." He muttered. As soon as he hair it he felt like smacking himself for saying it again, though he guessed this time he had more of a reason for saying it. He looked at her when she mentioned that he could have hurt her worse and sighed, shaking his head. "...You make it sound like everything is your fault." He said softly. "...Maybe I would just have to be one of you to understand any of this and just take it." He reached down to take her hand again. He looked like he wanted to say more, but he kept quiet. There was no point in arguing it. He was just one little halfbreed, there was nothing he could do about anything.

Aamori dusted herself off once she got to her feet and looked over at Celestine as he started to walk away. She of course followed behind him, leaving a couple feet of distance between them. When he mentioned his course of action she nodded to herself mostly since he had not turned around to look at her while saying that. Sure, what he had decided seemed like a good idea; They would eventually make it back to the lake. Though, she could help thinking to herself 'Wouldn't it be easier to use our wings; Fly up, see where the lake is and go from there?' She wasn't exactly sure why she had not thought of that sooner, but it would make things go faster. Not to mention Celestine wouldn't have to spend a lot of time with her, or any of the others. She sighed softly, thinking again of another way she could have made things go faster; Much the same way that LaRae was able to find the lake through the trees. She could very easily take a drop of water from her staff; Add some magic and it would point them in the right direction. She merely shook her head slightly. Why bother making things so easy. At least this way she could learn a little more about him; Even if he didn't talk much anymore, actions spoke louder then words.
LaRae smiled faintly when he took her hand again, it was comforting to say the least. Her eyes fell on their hands as she thought about the last thing he had said and shook her head slightly. "It's a good thing that your not from my Clan, I doubt you could handle the way they work; Especially from the inside. You're too nice of a person to be able to do what they do." She paused sighing softly. "Not to mention I wouldn't wish a mark upon anyone, not even someone I hated. They're something not everyone learns to live with... A lot of my clan who have been marked end up killing themselves before everything gets too out of hand." She stopped herself at that point thinking she'd said too much. She didn't think anyone needed to hear that some marked ended up taking their own lives. Let alone, no one should ever have to hear about death, specially at a time when they were trying to relax. She sighed heavily trying to force the thought from her mind. She didn't need to continue the depressing conversation she was having. Thinking back to Renzo though, she looked up at Nanashi. "Renzo didn't always act the way he does now... We used to be really close friends, actually. Which is why he doesn't just come right out and kill me. Well, that and he's really hoping I learn how to control myself..."

Celestine continued to walk in silence for a while, though he occasionally glanced back to Aamori to make sure that she was still there...or maybe that she wasn't going to try anything on him. His ears twitched slightly in the direction of every unexpected sound and he continually seemed to turned his head to look at where he thought something had moved. At least he was fairly watchful of what was around him. Whenever something was in his war he would use his swallow to brush it aside without just chopping it off and paused to hold it until Aamori got through as well before letting it fall back where it belonged. More than once he paused and looked up at the treetops and frowned before looking ahead again. He seemed to have had the same thought that Aamori had about flying, but the trees would make it too more of a hassle to fight would way through their upper branches to to to where you would be able to see anything. He wouldn't speak again unless he was spoken to first.
Nanashi blinked in mild surprise when she told him that many who were marked took their own lives, though he could see why... may as well do it yourself before someone else does it for you after putting you through hell. He didn't comment on that however... there was not much that he could say. When she mentioned the way that she and Renzo used to be friends he sighed softly and shook his head. "...Things change...not always for the better." he said softly. He looked down at their hands and sighed, giving hers a light squeeze before releasing it slowly so that he could put his arms back around her again. "...It's getting late..." he said finally, "...Do you want to go back to the lake or stay here?" he asked quietly.

Aamori still didn't speak a word; She was actually starting to enjoy the peace and quiet. Though the longer they were quiet the more she realized just how tired she was. At least while they had been talking before she was able to keep the feeling at bay. She still followed Celestine, barely looking at him even when he'd hold the brush aside so she could pass by. Eveytime she'd pass by she'd wait for him to move back in front of her, then let the space between them appear again. At least he was considerate. She started to yawn softly and reached her hand up to cover her mouth. She lazily let her hand drop back down to her side, blinking the impending sleep from her eyes. She lifted her eyes up to look at Celestine's back for a moment before opening her mouth. "...How much longer do you think until we're there?" She mumbled quietly.
LaRae shifted her glance back down to her lap focusing on her free hand as she flexed it slightly. "When Renzo and I came of age he stepped into his magical abilities rather easily and then entered 'Masters' training. Whereas I didn't, I had trouble with my powers and they marked me." She sighed softly. "I had only seen him one other time since we we're separated. When I became a marked they pretty much separated me from everything I'd grown up with. And Renzo went through training to be an Elders subordinate." She smiled weakly glancing back at Nanashi. "I was hoping that the next time I'd see Renzo would've been under better circumstances, but he has changed for the worse. He let his title go straight to his head, and it doesn't help that the Elder he works for is from my branch of the Clan." She sighed again softly and relaxed a bit more. "Sorry for making you listen to all of that." She mumbled quietly tilting her head down. The pink tint rather quickly returned to her cheeks when he put his arms around her again. She smiled softly as he asked where she wanted to go. "...I'm still rather worn out, so I'd like to stay here if we can." She paused. "Besides, I'm sure your feet are sore enough as it is..."

Celestine looked back over his shoulder again when Aamori spoke, noticing her tired eyes. He paused and closed his eyes for a moment, holding his hand out to motion for her to stop moving. "...I hear water... Not much further, I'm sure..." he said softly. He looked at her again and motioned for her to come on as he changed his direction slightly. "Let's go...you look exhausted already." he said softly as he reached out to take her wrist, pulling her forward a bit so that she wasn't quite so far behind him. "We'll be there in a couple of minutes." he assured her. He didn't seem too worried about how cold her skin was; he barely noticed. As he'd said, in no more than two minutes, the trees ended and they stood in front of the lake near the waterfall. He let her hand go then.
Nanashi smiled slightly, "...Don't worry about my feet...I'm used to it, but yes, we can stay here if you want." he pulled back to look at her again and shook his head, "...And you don't have to apologize for talking...I don't mind listening. I would like to know more about you." he said softly. He tilted his head slightly, pondering yet another question. "...You said that they sent him on to training... If powers can be trained then...why can they not work with people like you and teach you how to work your powers instead of...slapping a mark on your back and tossing you aside to figure things out for yourself?" He paused for a moment, "And...I realize you said that you choose not to control your powers because you don't want to work for the elders, but...if you could control them and just refused to work for them...would they still..." he trailed off, not wanting to finish that sentence.

Aamori was quite shocked to say the least when she saw him reach out and take her wrist. She hadn't expected him to go pulling her along to get to the lake, she'd more expected him to leave her behind. Whereas she probably would've stopped and slept where she was standing. "Unlike someone else, I haven't had a nap today..." She mumbled looking down at the ground trying not to stumble and fall over. When they finally reached the lake and he let her hand go she just dropped down where they stopped. She yawned again softly, lifting her hand to cover her mouth like before. She sat with her legs bent off to the side of her body now using one arm to keep herself propped up. She glanced up at Celestine for a brief moment. "...Thanks..."
LaRae was a bit surprised that he wanted to know more about her, there wasn't too much to tell really. At least that she had not already said. She looked up at him when he asked his questions and smiled weakly. She thought she'd already gave an answer for his first question, but she'd clarify anyway. "The 'Masters' training is special, a way for them hone their magic abilities that they can already control. As for marked, they don't receive any special training because it's dangerous to train someone like me." She paused. "Since we can't control our magic abilities very well training is difficult. Apparently when we become 'unstable' we have a tendency to loose complete control of our bodies and our magic and we level everything within a certain radius of us." She shook her head slightly. "It's strange actually... But no one wants to train the marked because they're afraid of setting us off and being killed in the process. Which is why we're told to learn how to control the magic ourselves; Usually in an uninhabited place." She dropped her eyes back down to the ground while she thought of the answer for the other question he asked. "The Elders don't let marked like me go even if we learn how to control our powers. They say I'm different from the others, so they want me indefinitely. So... I couldn't really say I didn't want to work for them, they'd either make me or..." She stopped knowing full well he'd know the end of her sentence.

Celestine looked down at her when she sat down and nodded slightly. "...Good night." he said softly, placing his hand on her head for a moment. "...Pleasant dreams..." he added as he removed his hand and started walking back to the edge of the trees. He laid his things down and then sat down at the base in between two slightly raised roots. He sighed and extended his feathered wings for a moment before folding them back again, though this time he folded them in front of him rather than behind him. He lowered his head into his drawn up knees and sighed softly, one wing drawing slightly up over his head so that it would block out the light when the sun rose. He yawned and closed his eyes again, trying to go back to sleep again.
Nanashi nodded slightly and sighed. "...I see..." he said softly. His ears laid back slightly as he looked at her, but he gave her a shy smile. "...I really do with I could help... I would help you train if...we had time or somewhere to do it." he chuckled softly, "I think I could manage without making you mad enough to want to level me." he shook his head, "But..then I again I would have absolutely no idea where to start." He sighed and put his arms around her gently. "Well...come on....it's late... I'm kinda tired..." he gave her a light squeeze and then released her as he settled back into the grass again. "...If you're cold...you can rest against me again if you want." he told her softly as he closed his eyes. He was well aware that it was a bit chilly out tonight.

Aamori's ears laid down when he touched her head. He was full of kind gestures all of a sudden and even saying pleasant dreams; She half wondered if she wasn't dreaming already. She waited until he moved away, after he said good night she nearly fell over from exhaustion. She was quite tired, surprisingly. She hadn't realised until a little bit ago just how tired she'd become; She probably only noticed because she stopped having things to do to occupy her time. She moved one of her arms and rested it under her head, then extended only one of her wings and gently draped it over her body to try and keep herself warm. She laid like that for a few minutes before shifting again and curling her legs up closer to her body, so that her wing could better cover her bare legs. She nuzzled her head into her arm and tried to fall asleep; It wouldn't take too long.
LaRae looked back to him when he mentioned he'd help her with the training if they'd have the accomodations to do so. She smiled softly thinking that was nice of him; She shook her head. "I'd be afraid to train with you Nanashi..." She paused laughing softly. "I wouldn't want to hurt you, let alone you aren't exactly the fighting type." Of course she was judging that based off the way he acted when that dark clan dragon was bothering him. Not to mention he was very timid. She lowered her eyes slightly. "Plus, I doubt I could live with myself if I ended up accidentally killing you if I lost control..." She mumbled just before turning to lay down on her side; facing him. She'd have laid on her back except that was extremely uncomfortable. She shook her head lightly when he said she could lay against him. "I'll be alright.." She stated before moving her arm to rest her head against it. The cold was starting to get to her, but she didn't want to resort to sleeping on him again; Specially after hearing the last time she had he hadn't slept very well. She involuntarily went to extend her wing to cover herself and quickly remembered that she couldn't. In fact her wing barely moved at all. She sighed slightly thinking 'Oh well' and curled her body a little, her tail then resting wrapped up along the side of her legs.

Nanashi looked at LaRae for a moment and smiled slightly. He just shook his head, not wanting to argue with her over the fact. "...I can hold my own...I've survived this long." he said simply. Once she was comfortable he scooted a little closer to her and put his arm around her. "You may be fine...I'm freezing my tail off." he told her as he closed his eyes. He had been hoping that she'd want to lay near him again, but this time he didn't really mind coming to lay near her. He sighed softly and snuggled close to her, getting comfortable in the cool grass before starting to doze.

LaRae was a bit surprised to see him move closer, then wrap an arm around her. She'd kind of hoped he'd do something like that. She was cold too after all but didn't want to have to admit it. She lifted her other arm up from her side and reached over to rest it on him. She smiled warmly glad that he was laying with her. She moved her head a little closer to his and gently pressed her lips against his cheek. She would've gone for his forehead but it was blocked by his headband. She pulled back and set her head down on her arm again and shut her eyes so she could go to sleep.

Nanashi opened his eyes again when he felt her lips against his cheek. He looked at her for a moment as the color rose in his face before closing his eyes again. He smiled weakly as he tried to get to sleep. It didn't take him as long as normal.
Later in the night, still some time before morning, Celestine had began to dream again. Normally, he was not much of a dreamer, but when he did dream, unfortunately, his mind was like an open book to anyone.
The scene all started out calm enough, it was a cloudy day, it looked as if it were threatening rain. A much younger Celestine was outside in a large open area near a small village, wresting playfully with another boy from the wind clan. sitting nearby under a tree was a very lovely young woman who looked almost identical to Celestine, though her tail was feathered at the end rather than furry and he wore a long white flowing dress.
The peace was shattered quickly.
Out of nowhere, other dragons started to appear from the trees around the area...Earth dragons, all of which looked ready for a fight. The woman was on her feet in an instant when the dragons were in site. "Run Celestine, Kanone!!" she yelled to them as she ushered them ahead of her, back toward the village. The shorter haired boy, Kanone, was in the lead, Celestine not far behind him with his mother right on his heels, telling him to hurry. Suddenly...she was no longer behind him, but he still heard her yelling, "Find your father!"
Roots were sprouting everywhere, and in the village, people were already screaming and running about trying to escape them. From the look of it, this was by no means a place well prepared for an assault of any kind. People were being caught in the roots, some completely engulfed by them. Celestine only glanced around for a moment, and in that moment, completely lost sight of Kanone. He was on his own in the middle of all of this chaos.
He quickly made a B-line for a building, but by the time he got there, a man was already running out, carrying a silver swallow. "Celestine, get out of here! Go!!" he shouted at him before taking off to join the others who were trying to defend the town. The wind clan was at several disadvantages. Their powers could hardly be used to stop the assault of Earth magic, and the ones who were well trained enough to fight were completely outnumbered as it seemed women and children outnumbered the men in this village.
Celestine paused only long enough to watch his father run toward the fight before turning about again to make a run for it. The Earth dragons were gaining ground quickly in the village. Upon looking around he spotted a small girl, a few years younger than him it seemed, huddled near a house. She appeared to be at least partially from the water clan, judging by those big blue eyes and blue-tinted hair. Quickly he ran over to her and grabbed her arm, "Run!" he told her as he shoved her ahead of him and got her moving toward the edge of the village, closer to the forests and the mountains where there were more places to hide.
Out of nowhere it seemed one of the Earth clan members ran in front of them. Celestine's initial reaction was to stop in his tracks and push the girl away from the huge man. He growled at the man, trying his best to look threatening as he lunged at him, claws extended. Out of the corner of his eye he could see the girl still running like he'd wanted as his small claws made a rip in the man's arm. Unfortunately, he had not noticed the heavy wooden club that the man was carrying...at least not until it slammed into his forehead above his left eye. At that moment Celestine crumpled to the ground as pain shot through his head. Blood could be felt running down his head from the busted skin as the world started to fade out red...and then black.
Celestine awoke with a startled gasp and sat up straight, his hand moving to his forehead...though his wings still partially covered his head.

LaRae took a short while to actually fall asleep. Having such stimulating conversation right before she was going to sleep probably wasn't such a great idea because she laid there with her eyes shut thinking about some of the different things they'd spoken about. Or more, what she'd spoken about considering she'd done most of the talking. She finally dozed off through; During her sleep she tightened her grip on him slightly.
Aamori had very little trouble going to sleep at first. Even the cold stayed at bay for awhile and she was able to keep herself warm. She barely moved an inch through most of the night; Surprisingly enough considering she had a tendency to sprawl out all over the place when she had some really good sleep.
After some time had passed in the night she shifted a little, starting to involuntarily pick up on the dream that Celestine was having; More like nightmare. She pulled her body tighter and closer together, by this point she was in the fetal position underneath her wing. She was experiencing his dream first hand, as if she was him. As soon as the dream started to go sour she immediately wanted to wake up; She had the presence of mind to know she was stuck in a dream, and that she wasn't really Celestine. So inside of her own mind she was yelling at herself, though inside the dream it only sounded like a faint echo. She broke out into a cold sweat quite quickly and began to move around slightly. Nearly the same time that Celestine woke with a startle, she'd rolled onto her back and then opened her eyes slowly staring up at the sky through the branches. Her heart was practically bouncing around inside of her chest; Her hair nearly soaked from sweating and she had a slight tremble to her body. Believe it or not based on her exterior she was actually very easily rattled. She had not bothered to look and see if Celestine was awake or not, the thought didn't pass her mind. She was too busy trying to calm herself down and catch her breath.

Celestine finally lowered his head again slightly and sighed, closing his eyes for a brief moment. He shivered as the memories resurfaced again. He knew that was not so much a dream and what had happened that day... he could hardly even remember what had happened on that day after he'd been stuck...he'd lost most of his memory of the day and anything before it for a long while and still had trouble remembering a lot of things. He had absolutely no idea what brought this on all of a sudden but he was not very pleased. He sighed and slowly unfolded his wings only to fold them behind him again before leaning back against the tree, staring up through the leaves in silence. Maybe he was trying to hard to ignore the fact that he was traveling with one of those crazed, murdering fiends. That was all the earth clan amounted to in his eyes. Those people took everything he ever did care about. Now he didn't care about much of anything. He blinked when the leaves blurred to the point that he could no longer even see. He sighed when he felt the water running down the sides of his face and raised his hands to wipe his eyes.

Aamori barely moved from the spot she was laying at. She'd finally caught her breath and managed to settle her heart down quite a bit. She took a deep breath and exhaled it very slowly just before raising her arm and placing it down over her eyes. She might have at this point tried to analyze the dream, like she would have if it was one of hers but she couldn't help thinking it wasn't hers; Which would mean it was probably Celestine's. All she was curious about at this point was how she managed to have his dream and did he have it too. She sighed softly and removed her hand from her eyes. She stared up at the branches again letting her eyes focus once more. She continued to lay there for a few minutes longer before forcing herself up into a seated position. She hunched her back and her shoulders dropped forward slightly. She wanted to check on Celestine, but considering the dream itself she was afraid to get up; Let alone bring it up. She shifted her eyes towards the lake briefly and as she did so caught her hair from the corner of her eye. She sighed again and lifted her hand up to grab her hair; It was damp clearly from the sweat and her hands were clammy now along with the rest of her skin. She lowered her head slightly and stared down at her hands after she set them in her lap. "...How would you even bring that up..." She mumbled quietly.

Celestine finally turned his gaze to the area around him. He didn't see the earth dragon around anywhere, thankfully, or the half breed. He hadn't expected to see Nero so he wasn't surprised to find absent. He was about to try to settle back again when he noticed that Aamori was up. He blinked and sat up again, looking at her. He could tell that she was a bit distressed and looked kind of...damp. He wondered what the heck she was even doing up unless... He sighed and fell back agianst the tree, putting his arm over his eyes. "...Not again..." he muttered under his breath. He hated when things like this happened...he didn't know how to stop it from happening, either. Oh well...if she wouldn't mention it, then he wouldn't either. Maybe that wasn't even what had happened..but that was the most likely thing that he could come up with.

Aamori continued to sit where she was for a few more minutes, debating with herself what she should do. Half of her wanted to ask Celestine about it, but the other half didn't want to take the chance of upsetting him. Especially considering how pleasant he had been to her recently. She lifted her head finally, like she'd decided what to do all of a sudden. She turned her head and looked over at Celestine, you could tell more so now by the look in her eyes just how distraught she was. She started to open her mouth to say something, but just let her jaw hang there for a moment while nothing came out. She shifted her eyes downward and shut her mouth before standing up and moving closer to the water. Once she reached the edge she let herself drop back down to her knees, leaning over to the side staring blankly at her reflection for a moment. She sighed heavily and then leaned over more, dunking her head into the cold water. She left her head under the water for what seemed like forever; Mostly to let her hair get cleaned out and to clean her face. She finally lifted her head from the water, sitting up straight as her hair fell somewhat back into place. She brought her hand up and pulled it out of her face, otherwise it stayed where ti fell; Dripping the cold water everywhere.

Celestine glanced back over to Aamori about the time that she looked at him and appeared to be going to speak. He sighed softly and closed his eyes, knowing now that she more than likely had seen his dream; she had been the one to hear his thoughts as well. When she got up to go to the water he watched her for a moment until she ducked her head into the water and then finally stood and moved silently over to her, kneeling beside her. He didn't look at her, but when he heard her hair move away from her face he sighed softly and closed his eyes again, clasping his hands in his lap as he sat at the edge of the water. "...What did you see?" he asked softly, though he had a feeling that he already knew what she was going to say.

Aamori didn't move when he knelt down beside her, she kept her eyes practically glued to the water. When he spoke, asking what she saw she nearly choked; Surprised that he'd even brought it up. It had rattled her so much that she was afraid of mentioning it and yet he had, a lot easier then she would've. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, fidgeting with her fingers along the edge of her skort. "...Believe it or not, I saw... Fish." She mumbled smiling only slightly. Sure she knew that wasn't what he meant when he asked what she had seen, but she worried about bringing up the topic. It didn't seem like it would have pleasant memories attached, so she half didn't want to talk about it. Though, the other half of her was curious as hell about how she was able to have his dream and if that had really happened to him or not.

Celestine looked over to Aamori when she answered and stared at her blankly for a moment before actually half smiling. "...Very funny..." he said, looking away again. He knew that she knew what he'd meant and was simply avoiding it. If she didn't want to talk about it, he certainly didn't mind. He was ready to not think about it anymore again for a while. So much for not opening u to anyone...if Aamori really had seen his entire dream, she now knew one of the things that he really didn't care for anyone in this group to know. He still had the scar from that head injury and still had side effects... the side effects were more what he didn't want anyone to know about...because then they tended to either worry excessively, be over protective, or use it against him. At times he tended to space out completely or faint for no really apparent reason....and of course as had been proved once already, a good knock to the head that probably wouldn't do much to most could knock him out for a while.
