Celestine nodded weakly when Kyran told him that he could choose whichever bed he wanted and again tried to return the smile, though it was still a rather pathetic attempt. "Thanks," he told him again before he moved the rest of the way over to the bed by the window. He finally slipped off his pack and laid it down against the wall by the night stand before unbuckling his belt and laying his weapons down beside the bag. He sighed softly as he straightened up and then glanced down to the bottom of his moccasins before making a bit of a face. He was starting to feel the urge to clean those as well.... He shook his head a little and then sighed and just sat down on his knees in the floor by his things rather than touch the bed for the time being. He absently reached up to stroke Kyiri's head when she finally poked her head out from under his hair and meowed at him.

Kyiri was getting a little restless sitting on Celestine's shoulder, and of course like any kitten...she was curious and more than ready to check out her new surroundings. She purred after Celestine reached up to pet her and then mewed again before hopping up onto the bed. She sniffed at the covers for a moment and then meowed again and looked down to Celestine.

"Ah! Kyiri, don't get up there," he said quickly as he reached up to pick her up again and pulled her back down into his lap. "Sorry, Kyiri...that isn't your bed." He stroked her fur gently and sighed softly. He knew he was going to have a hard time keeping her off of the bed...and everything else. She was used to running free wherever she wished, and he knew that since she was so used to sleeping in the bed with him or Kanone that it was going to be hard to break her from it while they were here.

Kanone winced a little when Nero said that they were supposed to look terrible, but he didn't say anything for the moment. He listened silently to Nero's explanation, though is eyes widened slightly when he told him that his own clan had done that to him. "Seriously?" he asked, sounding more stunned than disbelieving. He couldn't help but stare at him again when he said that it was no big deal, and he felt his ears fall back a little. "...That seems a little harsh.... I couldn't see you doing anything that...warranted all of the skin being torn off of your back...." He sighed softly and then shook his head a little before finally moving away from the wall and edging over tot he wall where the soaps and shampoos were. He still gave Nero a bit of room and tried to get a little closer to the other side of the pool from where he was washing himself. He dunked his hair once more and then filled his hand with the sweet scented shampoo and started to work it through his hair carefully. He could feel a few dried flecks of paint in his hair that he had to work out, but he had nowhere near the trouble that Nero did...he just had a little more hair to work with. He dunked his head again quickly and then shook out his hair underwater and ran his fingers through it again before raising his head above the water again. He still had a more serious look on his face than was normal for him at any given time. It was a little hard to swallow thinking that his own clan would do something like that to him. Cold as he was or tried to be, he still seemed like a nice guy, so he really didn't see why anyone would do something like that to him.

Kyran nodded his head slightly when Celestine said thanks and then started into the room a little further himself. He watched Celestine for only a few moments before he sat himself down on the edge of the bed closest to the door. He hated to think anyone was really that uncomfortable in the palace but he could completely understand in most cases. He just kind of sat on the bed until Nobu had come over and set his head in his lap. He of course started petting him and smiled a little. He didn't look back over to Celestine until he heard him telling Kyiri not to get up somewhere. His first thought was that Kyiri had already climbed up somewhere high that she didn't need to be so he was a little surprised that he was keeping Kyiri off of the bed. He shook his head a little. “...I don't think they'll mind Kyiri being on the furniture.” He told him. “I think Ishta was more worried about the dogs... and cats are generally pretty clean, aren't they?” He said as she looked towards Celestine.

Nero shrugged a little when he heard Kanone ask if he was serious. He continued to listen to Kanone while he scrubbed at the paint on his arms, finding that it came off a little easier than it had his hair... though it clearly left his arms looking a bit red from the force behind the action. He glanced over to Kanone for a moment. “It seems harsh to most outsiders.” He responded and then continued making sure he got most of the paint from his body before he moved on to working at his tail. “I got most of the scars while I was growing up and going through the military training they put most male children through.” He said sounding a little bored of the topic already. “At least one of the scars I got for almost killing an instructor. It was an accident of course and I hadn't really meant to hurt the guy but well... you still get reprimanded for something like that.” He told him and then moved onto his tail so that he could try and get the paint off of his scales. He sighed almost heavily at everything that had paint on it. He still had his tail of course and then his wings and lastly his horns... and well, he needed to double check his hair and make sure it wasn't still white... or sparkly...

Aamori stayed in the room with LaRae and Reyes a bit longer before she finally stood up from the bed her and LaRae were going to share and started to head for the door. She still had the pouch of treats to give to Celestine for Kyiri so she wanted to go ahead and get that to him while she was thinking about it. She mentioned briefly that she would be back after she started out of the room and she pulled the door mostly shut behind her and then started across the hall. She paused on the other side of the hall, near the door and peeked her head in a little and then reached in to knock on the door a little. “Sorry to intrude... but I wanted to give this pouch to you, Celestine.” She said as she held the pouch up a little. She refrained from calling it what it was on the off chance that Kyiri would hear her say 'treats' and start wanting them now.

Celestine raised his head again to look at Kyran when he commented about them not minding Kyiri on the furniture. "...But," he started, though Kyran continued to mention that she probably meant the dogs. He glanced down to Kyiri for a moment when he said that cats were generally pretty clean. "...Well...yeah," he answered quietly without really looking up, "...But she sheds...and she's long haired...but I doubt she will listen if she's left alone." He stroked Kyiri's back gently and then sighed softly. He still hadn't raised his voice very much, and he felt a little ridiculous when he spoke. Normally he wasn't so hesitant to speak. He was shy always, but he was usually at least able to form a sentence and speak it without pausing or mumbling. He raised his head again he heard someone knock and Aamori stepped into the room. He blinked when she held up the pouch and then sat Kyiri down on the decorative orange and gold carpe that spanned most of the room beneath the beds, and stood up. He walked over to the door and looked at the pouch before tilting his head a little. "...What is it?" he asked since he hadn't really payed enough attention to it before to know what she had in it.

Kyiri looked up at the sound of Aamori's voice and then to Celestine when he sat her on the floor. As soon as he started away she scurried after him, pouncing up onto Kyran's bed with a bit of effort before running across and stopping beside him. She looked over to Aamori and then swayed her tails a little before hopping off of the bed and scurrying over to them. It didn't take her much to recognize the pouch, and she could smell what was in there. Already she was rubbing around Celestine's feet and meowing pitifully. She would like a snack now since...well it had been a couple of hours since she had eaten anything.

Kanone winced again when he said that he had gotten most of the scars when he was little. He couldn't even imagining hurting a kid that badly no matter what they had done. "Geez..." he muttered quietly, lacking anything more constructive to say. He was still in a mild state of shock at even having seen the things, let alone knowing how he'd gotten them. Things like that were one sure way to shut Kanone up for a little while since he wasn't all that great with coming up with things to say. He was better at expressing himself physically than verbally, so topics like this just kind of threw him off. He could tell that Nero had no interest in talking about it further and he wasn't sure how much more he wanted to hear. "...Sorry," he said finally, keeping his voice soft as he spoke. "...Heh, I suck with this sort of thing. It's hard to even imagine. ...My clan or...well, maybe just my family, they never believed in that sort of thing." He sighed softly and then glanced over to Nero again before sighing softly and offering him a weak smile. "...Um...need a hand getting that off your back?" he asked simply since he had a feeling Nero might have some trouble reaching that area. It was rather hard to wash one's own wings...thoroughly.

Kyran stared over at Celestine when he started to respond about what he had said about Kyiri and the bed. He listened quietly and then nodded his head a little. He did understand Celestine's reasoning but cat hair was still better then the mess a large dog could produce. Not to mention for the most part cat hair could sometimes be shaken from blankets and things... and if he was worried about Kyiri and her hair than she shouldn't even be in the room because she was going to shed no matter where she was, be it the floor or the bed or any other piece of furniture. “I still don't think that you need to worry too much about her... just make sure that she doesn't sharpen her claws on any of the expensive furniture and we'll be alright.” He said with a slight smile. He didn't really care that Celestine was receding a little into his shell. If that made him more comfortable or made him feel better then he could do that while they were here. He did at least continue acting as he normally would. Normalcy would probably help a little with Celestine's shyness. He turned his head when he heard the knock at the door and looked to Aamori when she started to step into the room. He eyed the pouch that she held up and was a little curious himself what it was for... though... he find of managed to get some idea as he saw Kyiri scramble over towards them via the bed and wind up right at Celestine's feet.

Aamori hadn't bothered to move too far into the room after being acknowledged. She waited where she was since Celestine had started to get up and come over to her. She held the pouch out to him and smiled a little since he had asked what it was. “Well, it's for Kyiri...” She started and then wound up laughing a little since Kyiri ended up right at his feet and meowing like she was. “...Apparently even without using the word she knew what it was...” She said and then shook her head very lightly. “It's got some the treats Annon made for her in it. Since we're not in the same room I figured it would be easier for Kyiri to get a treat or two when she wanted them if you had some.” She told him. “...When she finishes off that pouch I can give you another one.”

Nero paid extra close attention to getting the paint from his tail but he did listen to Kanone whenever he spoke and glanced to him every now and again while he worked. He couldn't say that he was really surprised that Kanone seemed pretty speechless. Hikari hadn't really said a whole lot either if he remembered correctly... other than expressing how she felt. He just kind of lifted his hand and waved him off when he heard him say 'sorry'. He shrugged slightly and then looked over at him for a moment. “Don't worry about it.” He said first off. “It's something we all kind of grow up with unless we're born perfect.” He told him. “It's just how they whip you into shape, no pun intended.” He said and shook his head lightly. He found getting the paint from his scales really wasn't that hard, just a little time consuming perhaps. He focused on Kanone once again when he heard him ask if he needed a hand getting the paint off his back. He wished he could have said no, that he didn't need any help at all but he knew he couldn't very well get the paint back there. The paint on his wings right were they branched out was going to be the hardest part to get to by himself so of course he was going to need help. He sighed almost heavily and then nodded his head slightly. “...Yes, unfortunately.”

Celestine nodded weakly when Kyran said that the only think he needed to worry about was Kyiri sharpening her claws on the furniture. "...She knows better than that..." he said softly. They had already broken Kyiri from doing that a long time ago. That's what trees or designated scratching posts were for, and thing else and she was in trouble. After going to see what Aamori had he was a little surprised to find Kyiri at his feet meowing to be fed. He looked back to Aamori and then cracked open the pack to see what was inside before he sighed upon seeing the nice little treats. "I thought she was gaining weight since she was in Kairava..." he said absently before he looked back to Aamori. "So when did you plan to tell me you were feeding the little glutton behind my back?" He looked at her seeming annoyed for a moment before he just shook his head and sighed, "Oh well...thanks... I guess I don't really have anything else to feed her while we're out..." He looked down to Kyiri when she meowed again and smiled slightly as she say back on her haunches and looked up at him. He rolled his eyes a little and then laughed softly before reaching to the bag to pluck out one of the treats before he knelt down to her with it, setting the pack in his lap. "And what are you going to do for it?" he asked as he held it up. He smiled when Kyiri say up on her hind legs and pawed the air playfully and then reached over to stroke her head once as he handed her the treat with the other hand. "...She is pretty smart," he commented, "...It doesn't take much for her to remember where the food comes from...." He could eat Kyiri purring loudly as she chewed and then glanced back when she sat up and started pawing again the way she had before. He chuckled softly and picked out one more treat to give to her. "Last one for now," he told her as he handed it over and stroked her head gently again. Once she was busy chewing that one, he closed up the pouch and then stood up again. It wasn't long before she was pawing the air again for yet another treat and then resorted to using 'the eyes'. He just shook his head and raised his foot gently, placing it over her face. "No," he told her simply before looking back to Aamori. "How much of this did he make?" he asked curiously. He had a feeling these things were going to essentially be Kyiri's food supply when they were on the road, so he would kind of rather try to save as many as possible. Then again...she could probably take care of feeding herself on her own for the most part...considering her other form that he had seen for a few moments.

Kanone hardly glanced over to Nero while hew as trying to think of something to say to him. He completely missed his wave, though he did look back to him again when he told him not to worry about it. He just listened silently as Nero explained that it was something that they all grew up with unless they were born perfect. Right...who was born perfect? He did finally crack a weak smile to break that sad-looking sympathetic expression when Nero said no pun intended. "Guess I would have had nothing to worry about then....you don't get much more perfect," he said jokingly. He knew that he was far from perfect on many levels, but he still liked to claim perfection sometimes. He nodded a little when Nero said that he was going to need some help with his back and then started to edge over in that direction. He smiled a little when Nero sounded so disappointed that he was going to need help. "...Don't worry, I wont tell if you don't. ...I might have some splashed on mine, too...I don't know, I can't see." He stretched out one wing a bit and craned his head a little trying to see over his shoulder. "I was just splattered randomly in the cross fire.... It splashed off of you and all over me," he said with a slight laugh. "So don't worry...you haven't been alone in looking a little funny...at least you were all one color, for the most part," he said with a soft laugh. He was trying to lighten up again...at least a little. He still wasn't quite as upbeat as normal, but he probably could get to be soon enough...probably faster once Nero had a shirt on once again.

Aamori noticed the less then enthused look that made it's way to Celestine's face after seeing the treats. She smiled a little timidly when he mentioned that he thought Kyiri was gaining weight since she'd been in Kairava. Her ears laid back slightly when he asked when she planned to tell him she had been feeding Kyiri behind his back. Why did he have to make it sound so much worse then it actually was? Well... at least he didn't know the whole reasoning behind the treats... he'd probably be even more upset knowing she and Kyiri had kind of had a deal going. She sighed quietly. “I didn't think you'd mind if someone else was looking out for Kyiri too.” She paused. “...Let alone someone who actually remembers to feed her.” She nodded her head very slightly when he did kind of say thank you for the treats. She stayed pretty quiet and watched while Celestine gave Kyiri a couple of treats, nodding her head slightly in response when he said that Kyiri was pretty smart. She was, she couldn't deny that. She felt a little bad for even having the treats now which was part of the reason she just kind of kept quiet. She focused on Celestine again when he finally asked how much Annon had made. “...My bag is full of the pouches.” She answered quietly.

Nero shook his head a little when he heard Kanone jokingly say that he would have had nothing to worry about because you couldn't get much more perfect than him. “You'd be surprised how very few of us are considered perfect in the dark clans eyes... or... well... maybe not...” He sighed softly. “I've only ever known one or two people who have gone through the training growing up and come out unscathed or with only minimal scarring.” He commented quietly. He glanced back to Kanone when he heard him speak, telling him not to worry and mentioning that he might have paint on his back as well. He didn't really need the verbal 'I won't tell if you won't' bit because he already wasn't going to be speaking of this bathing experience. He was ready to get cleaned up and get it out of his head for good. He also knew that if Kanone spoke a word about it he'd probably be feeling a little pain in no time... he didn't need anyone hearing that he had to have another man wash his back... that was just... it could be taken so many different ways. He sighed quietly. “All one color? Right... I think I would have preferred looking like I had just come from some painting project as compared to looking like the project.” He muttered quietly. He finished off with his tail, or at least as much of it as he could get and then started to hold the soap out to Kanone since he was going to need it. He just kind of hoped that Kanone could over look the masses of scars on his back and help clean like he had offered. The last thing he needed was for Kanone to be sitting there like an idiot staring at the scars and doing nothing productive.

Celestine sighed softly when Aamori said that she didn't think he would mind. "I don't mind...I just thought I remembered asking you not to spoil her...," he responded simply. He winced slightly when Kyiri decided to dive up and climb back up to his shoulder and then glanced over to her for a moment. He turned his attention back to Aamori when she answered his question about the pouches. He nodded a little and then glanced over to Kyiri again. "...Well, that's probably a good thing. I didn't anticipate having her around when I left...and knowing Kanone, he didn't even think to pack food for her." He rolled his eyes a little and then shook his head slightly. He knew that Kanone wasn't always the sharpest tool in the shed, so he assumed it wouldn't be beyond him to forget to pack her any food. He reached up to stroke Kyiri's head again and then leaned his head over against her for a moment before glancing back to Aamori again and finally offering her a slight smile.

Kanone sighed softly when Nero said that he would be surprised how few of them were considered perfect and then shook his head a little. "...No...I doubt I would be surprised," he responded quietly. He was just waiting for Nero to finish with the soap so that he could help him get the paint off of his back, though he couldn't help but bust out laughing when Nero commented about looking like the project. "Haha! Well, maybe anyone who saw you thought I got a little crazy with the paint?" he suggested with another laugh. He reached over to take the soap from him once he handed it over and then shifted a little closer so that he could actually get to him. "And now, things get awkward," he commented, almost sounding like a sports commentator. He then started spreading the soap over the plaint splattered on Nero's wings and started trying to scrub it off carefully, trying to get off as much of it as he could, and make sure to get it out of the crevices as best as he could. He was trying his best not to stare at the scars...he knew they where there, that was bad enough. For the most party he just ran his hands over them as he tried to get the paint off and cringed a little at how uneven they felt, though he was being unnecessarily gentle while he tried to glean off his back. He didn't know if the things were tender, so he didn't want to put a lot of pressure on them.

Aamori bit back the urge to tell him that she wasn't spoiling Kyiri. She had been the only one the past day or two to really remember to feed her thanks to the treats and anything else that she had eaten was food she begged off of someone elses plate. If Celestine was going to bring that up he really should have brought it up to Annon. Kyiri was already spoiled thanks to him. Honestly... the cat had probably been fed every time she asked for something and even when she wasn't asking... and getting that type of treatment after dealing with Kanone and his habit of not feeding her... She sighed almost heavily. She looked to Kyiri now that she was on Celestine's shoulder and then nodded her head a little after the following thing he had said. “...When we run out I'm sure I can get LaRae to make some more, or at least something similar.” She said quietly. LaRae may not have been Annon but she didn't think it would be that hard for her to make something so long as they had the food available. She did finally feel just a little better about the whole spoiling Kyiri thing after finally seeing Celestine smile slightly. She finally started to take a step back towards the door. “...That was all I had to do.” She started. “I'm going to go back to the other room.” She said quietly before turning to leave the room.

Nero shook his head lightly. “I'm sorry to say that if it had been you who got crazy with the paint I doubt you would have been walking, let alone beside me.” He said sounding half serious. He actually rolled his eyes a little when he heard Kanone comment that now things got awkward. He didn't need him to verbally announce that since he knew it already. He sighed quietly and sat patiently while waiting for Kanone to finish. He did shake his head slightly when he felt how gentle Kanone was trying to be with his back. He figured the reason was because of the scars... why else? “Don't be a pansy.” He said firstly. “For the most part all of those scars are old, I don't feel anything from them any more.” He paused. “and there is no way that you're going to get anything cleaned off by acting like that.” He told him. It had been a little while since he had received a new scar on his back so they were all kind of old but that wasn't to say he didn't have days were the pain came back to remind him about the scars.

Celestine nodded a little when Aamori said that LaRae could probably make something similar and then half smiled again when Kyiri meowed in agreement. "...I guess so," he said quietly as he stroked Kyiri's fur once. He watched as Aamori started to take a step back and then titled his head a little. "...Alright," he agreed simply, "...Thanks again." He watched as she turned to leave and then backed up himself and pushed the door closed before he side glanced over to Kyiri. "...Well, you certainly know how to get your way with people, don't you? I'm starting to think it was a bad idea leaving you with a cook." He shook his head when Kyiri meowed again and then licked is cheek before he sighed. "Oh...stop being cute," he told her as he raised a hand to rub her head again. He wasn't entirely sure if he was upset over Aamori feeding Kyiri when he wasn't looking or not. If she hadn't even told him about these, he had a feeling she had fed her at other times when he didn't know...and not to mention Annan obviously had no trouble feeding her if he went through the trouble to make her road treats. He was of course glad that they liked her and took care of her...but he wasn't too crazy about the weight she was gaining or the fact that she was going to expect a treat every time she squalled now, most likely.

Kanone chuckled again softly when Nero said that he wouldn't be walking had he been the one to go crazy with the paint. "Yeah yeah, I'm sure," he said lightly. He made sure to get all of the paint off of his wings that he could before he had even started on his back, though he blinked when Nero told him not to be a pansy and stopped moving his hand altogether int he center of hi. "Huh?" He stared at him for a moment when he resumed talking about his scars and then realized Nero must have felt that he wasn't exerting much pressure on his back. "oh...sorry," he said simply, though after a moment he just grinned a little. Without warning he shoved Nero face first into the water and then jerked his hands back quickly so that he could sit back up. "How rough do you want me to be exactly?" he asked with a laugh. He knew that Nero was going to be thoroughly irritated with him for that, but he really wasn't very concerned about ticking him off much. He had a feeling a nice punch to the arm was about the worst he would get at any rate.

Aamori nodded her head a little when Celestine said his thanks and then continued back across the hall to the room she was sharing with the other two girls. She paused just outside of the door for a moment before she sighed softly and then reached over to open the door. She started into the room and came to a stop almost instantly and just stared and then started shaking her head. “...What in the world are you two doing?” She asked a half curiously as she stared at what she was pretty sure was Reyes straddled over LaRae and grabbing for her head.

Reyes had stopped what he was doing almost as soon as he heard the door open and stared over Aamori for a moment. He was indeed straddled over LaRae and reaching for her head. He glanced back down at LaRae a moment after Aamori had asked what they were doing and he smiled lightly. “Did you know she's got horns? Or well... had them at one time.” He said sounding surprised. After saying that he went right back to grabbing for LaRae's head so that he could move her hair up and see the horns again for himself. “What happened to them? Why're they just these silly looking little stumps?” He asked while he fought her a little trying to reach for her face. Obviously LaRae hadn't been too thrilled about Reyes' hands on approach because she was fighting him without actually trying to hurt him.

LaRae was managing to at least keep Reyes' hands off her face but she was still trying to get to what was left of her horns. “Of course I have horns! I already told you I wasn't a halfbreed.” She said and then groaned quietly since Reyes had proceeded to pry about what had happened to her horns and why she had little stumps. She had at least been relieved when Aamori came back because that meant she could help get Reyes off of her. “Help me, please, Aamori.” She muttered and pushed back a little on Reyes. “She won't back off...” She muttered again.

Aamori rolled her eyes a little after getting the whole picture and then stepped further into the room and started to shut the door behind her after hearing LaRae ask for help. She sighed heavily after the door was shut completely and started over to the bed to try and break the two of them up. She was already thinking this whole room sharing thing might not be such a great idea.

Kyran had sat quietly on the bed while Aamori and Celestine spoke and shook his head slightly after Aamori had left and Celestine started interacting so much with Kyiri. “Clearly it takes an animal to get you to be less on edge.” He commented as he stared over at Celestine. “Good thing we have a room full of them then, huh?”

Nero hadn't expected Kanone to shove him face first into the water so he fell right in without fail though he did recover decently and pulled himself up out of the water. He was coughing a little though and spit some water out before lifting his hand to push the wet hair that was stuck to his face to the side before glaring back at Kanone. “Obviously someone's feeling better.” He said as he shook his head and looked away though as soon as he turned his eyes away he had flicked his tail hard enough to skim the water and send a considerable amount splashing towards Kanone.

Celestine glanced over to Kyran when he heard him speak to him and then felt his face flush a little red before he glanced away again. "...I guess," he answered quietly. He still wasn't as comfortable around Kyran as some, mostly because the only time they ever really talked was when he was carrying him back from the forest after the hydra had poisoned him. That alone was enough to make things a little uncomfortable on his end, since Kyran had twice had to carry him around like a little kid...though compared to Kyran he was like a little kid wit the size and age difference. He started to move back over toward his bed, but then paused and just sat down in the floor on his knees again and reached over to rub Esen's head since she wasn't allowed on the bed. "...I've just...never been in a place like this before...not even in my own territory," he told him quietly. "...I don't know how I am supposed to behave...."

Kanone laughed again when Nero commented that he was feeling better. "Haha...I'm working on it," he said simply, apparently unfazed by the glare. "Gah!" he threw up his arm quickly to try to block the shower of water that few up into his face and then coughed since a little had flown into his mouth. He sputtered for a moment and then pushed his hair back out of his face and laughed a little once again. "What, I was just trying to rinse your back," he said innocently as he chuckled again. He reached over to lay his hand on Nero's back again. "Heh, sorry..." he said a little more seriously this time as he grinned, "what do you expect, this is me you're dealing with." He finally put the soap back to Nero's back again and started scrubbing a little harder this time, trying to peel the paint off as best he could without applying excessive amounts of force. It didn't take him very long to get Nero's back clean once he actually put some elbow grease behind the attempt. Once he was finished he just sat the soap on top of his head and pushed himself back away from him so that he was well out of reach. "There you go," he said lightly.

Kyran watched as Celestine started back over towards the bed and wound up sitting on his knees again rather than sitting on the bed. He nodded his head a little in understanding after Celestine had said that he didn't know how he was supposed to behave in a place like this since he had never been anywhere like this before. “You're not alone in that boat, I assure you.” He paused. “Nanashi nor LaRae to my knowledge have been places like this either and I assume Kanone hasn't as well since you haven't.” He couldn't speak for Nero or Reyes because he wasn't really sure with either of them. “I know the palace can be a bit intimidating but you don't have to treat the place like it'll break if you touch it.” He told him. “This is like a giant house in most aspects, I mean Princess Selenity does indeed live in this place with her family. It also has many facilities you are accustomed to, they're just bigger and fancier looking.” He added. “You don't have to be uncomfortable in a place like this and as far as behavior goes Selenity did say to make ourselves at home. So long as you don't disrespect any of the people you run across in the building you should be alright. If you do happen to run into any problems you can always come to me, I can deal with most things so long as they aren't over my head.” He said as he started to turn his eyes back down to Nobu as he continued to pat his head a bit. “You'll be alright and it isn't like you have to be alone or anything, there are plenty of us to hang around with while we're here.”

Nero rolled his eyes a little. “There are better ways to go about rinsing my back... like asking me to do it myself for instance.” He said as he shook his head a little. He wasn't particularly mad but he could have lived without getting bath water in his mouth or hitting the water face first. He sighed quietly after Kanone apologized. “That's a poor excuse.” He commented after hearing him ask what he expected since it was him he was dealing with. He went back to sitting there quietly once Kanone had started to clean off his back once again. Once Kanone was done and had place the soap on top of his head he reached up to take the soap so that he could put it back where he got it. “...Thanks.” He responded before he dunked himself to rinse off his back. After resurfacing he proceeded to reach for the shampoo once more so that he could run it through his hair one last time on the off chance that he missed something. He really didn't want to wander around with white streaks or something in his hair. This time he also took a moment to run the shampoo against his horns to try and do away with some of the paint there. He wouldn't really be able to clean his horns properly until he was able to look in a mirror and see for himself if there was any paint left. Then again he was probably going to have some trouble cleaning white paint off of white horns. He mentally groaned at the idea and finished up with his hair by dunking himself again.

Celestine turned his gaze back to Kyran when he started to answer him and then sighed softly. "...I know, I'm not alone," he responded quietly. Not being alone in this being a new experience did not help how he felt, however. "...Nothing fazes Kanone, anyway." He looked away gains and watched as Kyiri hopped off of his shoulder and started to curl up in his lap, though he was soon enough looking at Kyran again as he continued. "...Giant house or not...I'm almost afraid to bother anything. Everything here looks so expensive if I did break something....." he just shook his head while rolling his eyes up toward the ceiling. Clearly he didn't even want to think about what would happen then. He wasn't a clumsy dragon by nature, but he could still see himself back into a table and knock over one of those expensive looking flower vases or something. He also wasn't really one to talk to strangers, so he doubted that his rudeness would be much of a problem. "...Well...thanks," he said quietly when Kyran told him that he could get him if he ran into any problems. "...I hope there will be none." He gave Eden's head another stroke and then gently picked Kyiri up and sat her on the rug. Even with a rug these floors were hard and uncomfortable to sit on for too long. He stretched out a little after he stood, absently opening his wings a bit since he hadn't moved them much in a while. As soon as they opened several feathers littered the carpet, and he could feel them falling out. "Ohhh..." he groaned as he closed his wings quickly, knocking a few more loose, and turned around. He was on his knees again in a moment fathering up the hand full of fallen feathers with his face nearly beat red. "Perfect timing..." he muttered angrily under his breath, "Damn perfect timing..." His feathers had been falling out a bit since Kairava, but he had hoped it was just from where they had been knocked loose, but as the days went on and he was still noticing it he realized his wings were molting. That was mostly why he was trying to keep them still, but it grew uncomfortable after a while and he had to stretch. The was the last place he wanted to be while he was shedding feathers.

Kanone just chuckled again when Nero said that there were other ways to go about rinsing his back. "Hey, you told me not to be a pansy," he reminded him playfully. He definitely didn't think a pansy would dare shove Nero's face in the water like that. A grin found it's way to his face again when he mentioned his excuse being poor. "And you should know me well enough by now to know that I don't need a better one," he chimed while he was scrubbing. Once Nero had put the soap back and started washing his hair again he scooted over to snag the soap himself and started to wash himself off, carefully peeling the dried paint from his arm as well as trying to make sure it was all off of his hand. He tried to wash his own back as best as he could, though he wasn't overly worried. he was pretty sure he didn't get paint there and if he did...it would come off sooner or later if someone didn't point it out. Thankfully his wings were clean anyway due to his angle when the splash occurred. It didn't take him long to have himself cleaned off and once he was satisfied he put the soap back where he had gotten it and dumped himself quickly to rinse off.

Kyran shook his head slightly. “I doubt that's true. Things probably do bother Kanone and he just doesn't let it show.” He commented. He stared over at Celestine when he heard him go on for a moment about the possibility of breaking something and then sighed softly when he cut himself off. “Don't worry about that so much, Celestine.” He told him. “If you do happen to break anything it would likely be on accident and I don't think Selenity would hold it against you.” He shook his head lightly trying not to laugh. “I'm also pretty sure that if someone gave you grief over breaking something on accident Selenity would lay into them about it. Perhaps not to the extent that she did when that boy dumped paint on Nero, but still, she would do something.” He thought about it momentarily. “...I also think that any damages could be covered by whichever territory was involved should it go that far. We are all here because of a special job only we can do... should anything happen I'm fairly certain any territory could pick up the tab.” He nodded his head a bit when Celestine said that he hoped there would be no problems. He had to agree. Things went a lot smoother without problems. He continued to sit where he was petting Nobu, at least until he heard Celestine groan and then mutter something about perfect timing. “...What? What's wrong?” He asked and then leaned a bit more towards Celestine so he could see better without actually getting off the bed. He just kind of stared at Celestine and his brightly colored face watching him gathering feathers. “...Um ...are you going to be alright?” He asked quietly. He hadn't really dealt with dragons with feathered wings before so he wasn't entirely sure what was going on but he did think that was a considerable amount of feathers to have just... well, fallen out.

Nero just kept any and all comments to himself. He did know Kanone well enough to know certain things about him already. He sighed quietly and double checked himself while Kanone was cleaning his own body up. He didn't really see any more paint and wouldn't know how his hair was until he got to a mirror. It felt better at least so he assumed it was alright. He had managed a good scrubbing of his face as well so he wasn't worried about that either. He didn't wait to see if Kanone was finished with the bath or not before he started for the way out, where the railing was with the towels and things. As soon as he reached there he grabbed for the largest towel and wrapped it around his waist as he climbed out of the bath. He then reached for the middle sized towel and started away from the bath with that, drying off his upper body with it a little before moving to his hair to try and dry it some as he headed back towards the screen. He didn't head behind it though since he didn't have a change of clothes in the room to change into, unlike Kanone. He was going to have to check the lavatory room to see if Firra had come back with clothes for him yet.

Celestine shrugged slightly in response to Kyran's suggestion that Kanone just didn't let it show when things bothered him. He was sure Kanone was bothered but he also wasn't shy and he tended to just do whatever he wanted and not care what people thought...which could lead to some very embarrassing moments. He also nodded weakly when Kyran pointed out that if he problem anything Selenity wouldn't be upset and the object could likely be easily replaced by one of the clans. He seriously hoped nothing really got that far...though he hoped more that he had no accidents. After he had stood up and then started to gather up his feathers his face turned even more read when he realized he much have been muttering loud enough for Kyran to hear. "Nothing," he responded quickly and shortly when he asked what was wrong. He sighed heavily once he heard him ask if he was going to be alright and his ears just fell back. "...Yes," he muttered quietly, "...I'm just going to be grounded for a little while..." He sighed again and then resumed picking up feathers, sounding as disgruntled about that idea as he looked. He knew it was rare for a dragon to have feathered wings, so he guessed that he may as well explain a little further so Kyran wouldn't think he was sick or something. "...My wings are a pain...," he started in a dull mutter without making eye contact, "...I can't fly that well with a lot of damaged feathers...so when it gets bad like this and usually once a year my feathers start falling out and grow back, but it can take a couple of weeks...and I look like a plucked chicken for a few days...." That was one reason that he liked to keep his hair so long...when he did molt, at least his hair could hide his wings from view. His wings had been looking pretty rough after leaving Kairava as compared to when they started the trip. The feathers were dull and shabby looking, as well as flattened out and poorly preened. The combination of being water logged in salt water so many times on top of all of the sand and the lovely beating that left many of his feathers broken from his bout in the drawer had put his wings in rough shape, so apparently they had decided it was time to replace the feathers. Once he had gathered up a nice fist full of feathers he stood up again, still avoiding even looking at Kyran as he made his way over to the garbage can between the bed stands...though he groaned again quietly upon turning round to see that he had lost two more on the way over there. ...The maids are going to hate me.... he thought as he went to retrieve those as well to toss in the trash.

Kanone wasn't very far behind Nero when it came to getting out. He could have been out long before him had he not decided to sit and soak and help him wash his back, though it was fine with him that Nero got out first anyway. He gave Nero time to wrap up and go into the next room before he actually got out of the tub and grabbed his largest towel, drying his upper body quickly before wrapping it around his waist and then snagged the smaller towel and started to dry his face and tried to dry out his hair a little. He shook off his feet near the tub and then started to make his way back toward the screen himself, though he detoured around so that he could get to his pack and drag out some clean clothes to change into. He picked out another pair of brown pants, which for the most part seemed to be his usual, and then dug out a nice navy blue shirt with golden trim around the edges and around the high collar. Like his green one it was right fitting and buttoned along the neck with decorative button-knots much like all of Celestine's clothing. Unfortunately, he was running out of decent shirts. His blue one had been totaled, not his green one had paint splotches on it. Aside from this one...he was pretty sure he only had one left in there. Once he had his clothes he quickly made his way around the screen to get changed, and made quick word of doing so, even though he wasn't completely dry just yet.

Firra had already brought up the clothes for Nero and left them folded neatly on top of the counter. She had to do a bit of work to get them to his preference, or at lest she hoped they were to his preference, but either way, they were dark colored. She had found a nice suit in the dressing room that had not been touched by anyone in a long while and looked about his size and then removed all of the decorative chains and broaches and took it downstairs to dip it in the darkest dye she could find. She left it for a bit before taking it out to dry. One advantage to being in the light clan was that with the right spell, clothing could be dried easily, though stains were likely to be baked into them...in this case, it was fine that way since she wanted as much dye to stay in as possible. She dried the clothes after taking them out and realizing that they were almost black and then gave them a quick wash before drying them again. A bit of the dye had come out, leaving the material much like her dress...almost black, with a touch of purple since that had been what she used. Once she suit had been dried again she ironed it quickly and reattached all of it's brooches in all of the proper places. The pants were simply dress slacks, though she shirt...might remind someone of something Celestine would wear, only far more dressy and not quite as close to looking like a dress. The shirt pulled over the head and stopped in the front just about the hips in two small points where it looked as if there should have been buttons, and hung down in two pointed tails in the back. A lilac colored sash ran around the lower waist though a couple of belt loops where it was tied loosely and pinned with a decorative golden sun-shaped brooch with a round and polished purple stone in the center and two strings hanging from it with similar gem-like beads and small golden tassels that hung down against the lighter purple sash. Hanging across the chest was another decorative brooch that formed an intricate looped circle with similar swirling, twisting designs lacing together to form a sort of rounded triangle where another large rounded stone was set in the center of the circle, with five similar oval shaped ones hanging from each end and the center sides of the triangle spaced evenly apart with the largest of those hanging at the bottom center. Another small set of gems were set just before the chains that connected the attachment to the shirt, though the chains were barely visible from a fold of fabric that folded down from the neck and hung longer on the left side in two points. The shirt was also long sleeved with sleeves that flared a bit at the ends and were once decorated with golden patterns, though they were darkened to the point of barely being visible now. They were still evident should one look hard enough, but not very, which would likely give away that the clothes had been dyed and were not naturally made to be that shade.. Many of the smaller details of the shirt had been drowned out with the dry, but the brooches and sash were enough to give it a little flare even if it was otherwise a bit plain now. In her personal opinion...she thought it looked better that way, less overdone. The only reason she had bothered to put the brooches back was because the outfit looked a bit silly without them the way that it was made. All in all...she had managed to throw him something decent together in a short amount of time, though unfortunately...any and all clothes he would find here, especially in the castle, were going to be a bit overdone as far as decorations went.

Kyran merely quirked a brow when Celestine responded so quickly and shortly with 'nothing'. It didn't really look like nothing... He was a little relieved to hear Celestine say yes to his question about him being alright. He wasn't entirely sure what he had meant when he said that he was going to be grounded for a little while but he could guess that feathers falling out wasn't good for flight. He still wasn't sure what to really make of this but he guessed it had to have been kind of bad since it was making Celestine act and sound like he did. He was kind of glad that Celestine did continue telling him in a little more detail what was going on. He wasn't sure he wanted to ask but he had wanted to know. He stayed quiet while Celestine explained and kept a straight face even at the comparison of his looking like a plucked chicken. He stayed quiet a few moments longer, mostly just taking in the information that he had been given. He could certainly imagine how having that happen to your wings could be a pain in the tail, especially if it did happen once a year. He watched Celestine after he had gathered the feathers and started to take them to the garbage and wound up losing two more in the process. He didn't really find this funny but he couldn't help thinking that if Celestine ever left the room he might be able to find his own way back thanks to his feathers... so long as no maid cleaned them up right away. She shook his head lightly. “You may not think it but if this had to happen it's probably a good thing it happened at a time like this.” He told him. “We're likely going to be here a little while and we don't need to be flying while we're here... so you without use of your wings won't be a bad thing exactly.” It really was far better than being out and about and needing to fly like they had in a couple other places. They had enough people and animals to carry after all, should they have to fly and having Celestine's wings out of commission would just make everything worse. So aside from the maids possibly having to clean up feathers here and there this was kind of a good thing. “Is there anything that can be done to speed up the process, should that be necessary?” He asked out of curiosity more than anything.

Nero continued out to the other room to give Kanone more privacy to change and so that he could see about changing himself. He hadn't worried about anyone else being in the other room mostly because if anyone had come into the lavatory they were likely to leave anyway upon seeing him. He continued running the towel over his hair, avoiding snagging his horns as best as he could and glanced around the room for some clothes. He was a bit glad to see that Firra had indeed left him some clothes to wear and they appeared to be dark at first glance. Little did he know he was going to want to just go bare after getting a real close look. He much preferred wearing plain and simple clothes versus fancy and elaborate getups. He didn't inspect the clothes right away, instead and he his way to a mirror and started checking his hair for white streaks or spots and then gave his horns a once over to make sure that they weren't sparkling or anything. When he was satisfied he started to set the smaller towel down and run his hands through his hair to try and fix the mess that had been made from vigorously washing it. He did his best without a comb or brush and then moved back to look at the clothing. The color was satisfactory... but the actual outfit itself... after closer inspection... was enough to turn him away completely. Why did light dragons have to have such taste? And why did there have to be so much fanfare on an article of clothing? He groaned and set the top aside while he looked at the pants. At least they were simple enough. If his shirt hadn't been painted he would gladly have put it back on. He shook his head lightly and started to remove the towel from his waist, not even bothering to go somewhere that he couldn't be seen. He really didn't care that much... if you'd seen one male body you'd kind of seen them all. He dried himself off the rest of the way as quickly as he could before just dropping the towel on the floor and picking up the pants to slip into. He planned to pick the towel up afterwards of course so he didn't care if it sat on the floor while he got dressed. It didn't take him long to get the pants on and fastened though after they were on he just kind of stared at the top almost blankly. He really wished that it could change... just from being stared at. He didn't even dress this nicely back home... well, other than when he had to be in his best uniform but that was different. This really was like punishment... the light clans own little form of sadistic punishment... and it didn't even hurt anyone physically which was perfect for them. He shook his head and sighed heavily before finally lifting his hand to reach for the shirt. Good Lord Almighty was he going to hate this... and Kanone was going to make so many cracks about it... he just knew it. The fact that it was dark didn't even matter anymore... it was going to be embarrassing enough wandering around in this gaudy [to him] getup. He honestly hesitated even now before slipping the top over his head and working himself into it. He was already thinking that he was going to have to get Hikari back for this some how, some way. She hadn't done this on purpose... or at least he hoped not... but he was still going to have to get her back. He also really hoped and prayed that Firra could do something with his clothes. His pants hadn't been too bad, except at the waist and considering their camouflage pattern it probably would be easy enough to hide white paint stains but his shirt... he so needed a new one if that couldn't be saved. He honestly doubted it could even be saved but he still hoped somewhere. Then of course his boots had some splatters on them but he could clean those himself... speaking of which... he was going to have to go back into the other room and get those along with his brass knuckles from the pockets of his pants. He shook his head again and proceeded to go over the outfit he was stuck with making sure anything was tied that needed to be tied and fastened that needed to be fastened before reaching down to pick up the towel he had dropped before. He groaned again this time at the sleeves.... men didn't wear flared sleeves... and he certainly preferred none at all if could be helped. If not for the fact that this wasn't his outfit he may very well have thought about cutting it up a bit....

[[What'd ya know... I couldn't sleep... Alro had fleas running rampant in my bed and I had to strip the whole thing and spray him down... thus... it woke me up the rest of the way and I had a lovely burst of energy. xP. Then I got online, read this and went... 'OMG sweet Lord my poor Nero... what the bloody hell has she done to you?!' When I read the outfit... xDD. Poor... poor Nero.... xD.]]

((*Laughs maniacally* Well, what did you expect? At least it wasn't white. ;) ))

Celestine sighed softly when Kyran stated that if it had to happen that now was a good time. He supposed that it was so far as his inability to fly was concerned, but when it came right down to it, he did not want to be losing his feathers in a place like this. "It's just embarrassing," he whined quietly. Celestine wasn't really thing whining type, but he still couldn't help it a little. It was humiliating shedding feathers in the first place, it was even worse when he was shedding feathers in such a large, fancy palace. He did finally glance back to Kyran again when he asked if anything could be done to speed up the process. "...I don't know," he said with a sigh, "...Maybe...they grow back faster when the old feathers come out..." He sighed heavily and then glanced back to one of his wings before extending it out to the side. There were several patches of feathers that were simply bunched together where feathers had come out and gotten hung, and already there were a couple of patches that were looking bare. He raised his hand and combed his fingers through his feathers sending a shower of loose feathers fluttering down to the rug. He sighed and rolled his eyes a little. He really needed to just go outside somewhere and beat his wings for a while. At the moment it was mostly the smaller feathers near the top and center that were coming out, the larger ones toward the bottom still didn't seem to be in any real hurry to come out. He tried to dust off a few more before he took to gathering up the mess again. At least he was still close to the garbage can. Now he just wondered what the maids were going to think about the trash being full of feathers.

Kanone didn't take very long to get dressed again, though he spent a little more time trying to dry out his shoulder length hair. Once it was about as dry as he could manage he started to hang the towels up on the hooks and then stepped away from the screen and moved over to the wall where he had left his things and dug into the side pocket of his pouch for a comb. He then started running the comb down through his hair carefully, tying to get all of the tangles out of it without ripping it out, though he still managed to get a comb full of hair. He was going to have to wait a bit until his hair dried out more to put it back up, but he didn't really mind. He moved over to his boots once he had combed his hair out and balled up the hair in the comb, and then tossed it in the garbage can sitting beside the door before he went back to gather up his shoes and tried to scratch off some of the point droplets that had splashed onto his shoes. He wasn't entirely sure how to get that off, but he guessed it probably didn't really matter. These shoes were old anyway, it was probably past time that he should have gotten new ones.

Kyran couldn't say that he blamed Celestine for whining that it was embarrassing. He didn't shed feathers but he could imagine it wasn't exactly something you would want happening in a place like this. He still thought this was a better choice location then some others and at least the feathers could be disposed of. He continued looking over at Celestine once he had said that he didn't know if there was any way to speed up the process and continued to bring up that they grew back faster with the old feathers out. He watched as Celestine stretched out his wing and combed his hand through the feathers. He had a feeling that even if Celestine stood there and ran his hands through his feathers they would still take awhile to get them all to fall out. “...What about getting them wet? Would the weight from them being soaked cause them to fall out any quicker?” He asked curiously. He sighed quietly and then glanced to Esen since he remembered that she had feathers too. “...She's not going to start shedding anytime soon too, is she?”

Nero stayed in the lavatory room for a little longer though he was pretty certain that no matter how long he stayed in the room the clothing he had been given wasn't going to change and no one else was going to come in with something similar to what he had been wearing before he had been covered in paint. He sighed heavily and reached for the other towel that he had set down and picked it up as well. He then started back towards the doors that let him into the room with the bath and showers. He cracked the door open with less struggle than Firra had and slipped inside without a care to whether or not Kanone had finished getting dressed. He would have been surprised though if he hadn't finished yet seeing as he had taken as much time as he had staring at this damn gaudy outfit before he even got around to putting it on. He didn't say a word to Kanone and just walked straight over to where he had hung his paint covered clothes and then dropped the towels below them. He then rolled up one sleeve of the shirt he was wearing and started to fish in the pockets of his pants to pull out both of his brass knuckles. After he had those he retrieved his boots. He knew they had paint splatters on them but he wasn't that worried about it. He'd find the stuff to try and polish them, possibly even stain the paint black before doing so. They wouldn't be perfect but it would be close enough that no one would really notice right away. He sighed again absently and started back towards the doors to the lavatory but paused just before them and knelt down to put his boots on. He really did think he was going to hate light clan clothing if it was all like this...

Celestine sighed softly as he disposed of his mess and then looked back up to Kyran again when he suggested water. "...I don't know...probably..." he responded with a sigh. He really didn't want to make his feathers fall out faster...he'd rather try to keep them in, but he knew that it would be better go let them go so that he wasn't dropping feathers every time he so much as moved. He shook his head weakly and let his shoulders sag a little with a sigh. "...I guess I could try it..." he said dryly. It was just going to be a pain drying off once he did. He turned his attention over to Esen briefly when Kyran asked him if she was going to start shedding anytime soon. "...I don't know," he responded honestly.
Esen looked up to the bed when Kyran asked if she was going to start shedding and then laid one ear back before shaking out her fur and flapping her wings a little, not losing so much as a singly feather before she sat back down with a huff. She woofed quietly and then laid down on the carpet, resting her head on her paws.
Celestine half smiled and then laughed weakly. "...I guess that means no."

Kanone glanced up when he heard the door open and then lowered his gaze to his boots again when he realized it was Nero, though he had to take a double take almost as soon as he lowered his gaze. He started at him silently and then blinked as he looked over his attire. "Whoa...um...nice outfit," he said simply, not at all sounding sarcastic. Oddly enough, he actually kind of liked it. The style reminded him a bit of what he saw back home only...much more decorative as far as the brooches and such went. Either way, it was pretty nice looking, at least in his opinion. He finally gave up on cleaning his boots for now and slipped them on. Unfortunately, considering that his were brown, he would have a little harder time making everything look the same color again...but he also didn't really care too much about how his boots looked, so it also didn't really matter to him. He followed Nero over to the door and smiled slightly. "Well, at least she found you something dark colored. It looks pretty good on you."

Kyran stared over at Celestine for a moment and then sighed a little. “You don't have to do anything you don't want to do, it was only a suggestion.” He paused. “I just thought you'd be more interested in getting the feathers out so they could grow back rather than walk around here embarrassed because you were losing your feathers like you are.” He shrugged a little. “The feather loss is only going to get worse from here on out, right?” He asked though he was kind of sure he knew the answer already. He glanced to Esen after Celestine had answered that he didn't know about her shedding any time soon and she seemed to be responding herself. He watched her and then sighed quietly. “I didn't mean to offend, I was simply asking because I was curious.” He told her and then nodded his head slightly when Celestine clarified that he guessed that meant no.

Nero finished putting on his boots and made sure that he pulled the pants legs down over the boots laces so that perhaps it didn't look quite so much like he was wearing combat boots with such a 'nice' looking outfit. Well... it may not have been nice in his eyes but it was someone's. He sighed almost heavily and glanced up to Kanone when he came over and spoke. He was glad the color was dark but he didn't agree about it looking good on him... he just couldn't get past the style long enough to say how it looked. “...At least someone likes it.” He commented as he grabbed his brass knuckles and stood up again. “I'd much rather to rob some lower class person of their clothes or even a guard of their training clothes... this just isn't my style.”

Celestine sighed softly when Kyran said that it was just a suggestion. "...I know, Kyran..." he said dully, just sounding overall on the verge of being depressed. He probably had the look of someone who would just love to lay down and go to sleep so they wouldn't have to deal with the rest of the day. "...Yeah...it'll get worse," he confirmed with a heavier sigh. "...I just don't know if it is more embarrassing loosing feathers or walking around without any at all..." To him it was bad enough that he was already apparently being mistaken for a girl again since Ishta hadn't even bothered to address the men's rooms, even though it was made obvious where they were, but being mistake for a girl and walking around with naked wings was a little worse to him. He didn't enjoy the idea of looking like a 'plucked chicken' as he had put it earlier. "...Besides, I'm not really sure they would appreciate me littering their bath with feathers..."

Esen raised her head a little when Kyran said that he didn't mean to offend and wagged her tails a little before letting out another quiet woof. She knew he wasn't trying to offend...but still, she didn't think she looked like she was shedding...or she hoped that she didn't. Just in case she went ahead and curled up a little and started trying to preen her feathers a bit just to make sure that they weren't too messed up.

Kanone laughed softly when Nero said that at least someone liked the outfit. "What? It looks nice," he said lightly, though he rather quickly found himself laughing when he mentioned robbing a lower class person of their clothes and then shook his head a bit. "Well, I wouldn't suggest it...that might get you in trouble, but come on...it's not that bad, is it? Not looking like you're ready to throttle something isn't such a bad thing." He paused when he realized that he was about to leave without all of this things and then scooted over to grab his pack and his cousin's swallow before scurrying back over to the door again so that they could head out and figure out where they were supposed to go...though he assumed they could pick whichever room on the hallway that they liked so long as they shared.

Kyran exactly that sure what more to say to Celestine or how to deal with the mood he was working himself into. He obviously couldn't relate to him on the level of shedding wings so he kind of at a loss. He could imagine well enough how the kid was feeling but that was just about as far as it went. He sighed quietly when Celestine said that he wasn't sure they would appreciate his littering their bath with feathers. “...Probably not.” He agreed quietly. “But you can't not take a bath or something while you're here.” He paused. “Getting in the water will be unavoidable, eventually.” He wasn't sure when Celestine was going to need to bathe but it was going to be impossible for him to go without while they were in the palace, he was bound to offend someone sooner or later otherwise. He glanced to Esen momentarily when she responded with her quiet woof and then looked back to Celestine. He was at least kind of glad he hadn't really offended Esen. He hadn't looked at her before he asked that question. It was just automatic to ask as soon as he remembered that she too had feathered wings.

Nero sighed heavily when he found Kanone laughing at what he had said about robbing a lower class person and when he had said that he wouldn't suggest it because it might get him in trouble. He just kind of stared at him when he asked if it wasn't that bad. It was that bad. In his opinion at the very least. He shook his head and looked away. “Instead I look like a pompous light clan idolizer.” He muttered. In some sense the clothes probably weren't that bad but he just didn't care for them. He held his brass knuckles, broken one included, in one hand and glanced back when Kanone wandered off to gather up his things. He didn't wait for him to get all the way back before he opened the door again and slipped into the lavatory. He then started to cross the room and head for the other set of doors and started to open one of them as well. All he really wanted at this point was to find a room to lock himself in for a little while, especially since he didn't really want to be seen wandering around dressed like he was. He had remembered that Ishta woman saying that they should share rooms but he really would rather have one to himself, especially since he was going to be depriving any potential roommate of the light if possible. He wasn't entirely sure anyone else would like sitting in a dark room without the use of their eyes. He continued out of the lavatory and back the way he thought they had come. He didn't remember them making too many deviations from a straight line so he didn't think it would really be that hard to find the way back.

Celestine finally just leaned his back against the edge of the bed and then sighed again when Kyran told him that he couldn't not take a bath. "...Yeah, I know..." he muttered under his breath. "...I guess I'll just have to clean up after myself.... If they have anything remotely similar to a regular bath I guess it shouldn't be that hard...." Little did he know that cleaning up after himself if he took a bath here would be like cleaning out a pool. He sighed again heavily when he ran his fingers back through his bangs and felt that his hair was already in a bit of a need of being washed. Again he just sighed and dropped his arm down again to rest on his knee before glancing off to the opposite corner of the room. He wondered how well he could just hide and hope that no one saw him. Too bad he couldn't just stay in here all of the time. "...Oh well," he muttered quietly in a somewhat defeated tone. He knew he was going to have to deal with this one way or another. "...Too bad I don't have a brush or something...," he muttered to himself. He had a comb but he didn't think that would work quite as well.

Kanone shook his head a little when Nero said that he looked like a pompous light clan idolizer. "Hey, want to trade? Hell I'll wear it. I think it looks nice...." He shrugged a little and then laughed, "I don't think I own a fancy article of clothing...this is about as neat as I get, Cel's the dressy one." He caught the door as it was closing and followed Nero into the lavatory and then back into the other hallway with a soft sigh. "Maybe they'll be able to do something with your clothes.... Those look like they were dyed or something, maybe they can dye yours black again or something if they can't get the paint out. You should probably thank Firra next time you see her, it looks like she put some effort into getting you what you asked for." He blinked as they neared the end of the hallway where it turned onto the one with all of the rooms and paused. "What the?" he muttered since he was pretty sure he heard a strange clicking noise around the corner and...giggling?

Moments later a small girl came running around the corner with a hand full of fabric in each hand, exposing her bare feet as she moved forward, looking back over her shoulder with a smile as she giggled at the small furry white dog chasing her heels. The dog's toenails clicked on the hard flooring as it ran after the girl, it's fuzzy tail wagging wildly behind it. The girl clearly wasn't looking where she was going as she collided with Nero nearly the instant that she rounded the corner and fell back right on her tail. Luckily the dog was quick enough to move out of the way, though it started to growl and bristle it's fur at the sight of the two strangers. The girl's appearance was a little easier to take in now that she was no longer moving. Her dress was long enough to cover her feet and drag the floor since she had no shoes on, and it clearly had a lot of fabric around the rim to the point that it would easily fly out around her if she twirled in it. The dress appeared to be made of pressed silk, and looked to be expensive, not something a child should be playing in. The top of the dress was covered with a pale blue poncho that ended in a point in the front tipped with a large almost furry-looking tassel with a large pink bead just above it. The back ended similarly, though in two points rather than one, of course it was a bit obscured by her long white-silver hair. All in all...the girl appeared to be a miniature, seven-year-old version of Selenity, right down to the small blue gem in the center of her forehead. The biggest differences were that her hair was mostly straight with a bit of wave int he back, where Selenity's tended to curl, and she had no bangs to hide her gem as Selenity did. Her horns were of course shorter, and she still didn't seem to have grown into her ears as they were a little big, but one could still easily see who she was related to. Even her large iridescent eyes were almost the same, though they were a brighter sapphire shade than Selenity's more sky-blue eyes. The glow that all female light dragons had in their eyes was practically was a little more evident in the dimmed hallway, though it still was not very bright and just made her eyes stand out a bit more. As soon as she looked up and realized what she had run into her large eyes widened in a look that mirrored something near terror before she shrieked so loudly that it echoed off of the walls and tried to scramble back to her feet. Unfortunately she made it up and to the point of turning around before her legs twisted up and her foot slipped on the overlong material of her dress, causing her to fall face-first on the floor again with her arms stretched out over her head in a failed attempt at saving herself. The fall caused her hair to flip up over her head and her gem to smack off of the floor, making a lout snap in the process...something that Selenity could easily attest hurt like no other. She just lay there for a moment before rolling onto her back and throwing her hands up to her forehead, tears already welling in her eyes, which she closed quickly before she started to sob quietly. She seemed to forget about running for the time being...she was a little too busy curling up in a ball because her head hurt.

Nero rolled his eyes a little. “Doubt I would fit comfortably into your clothes and no offense but your style isn't that much better.” He didn't bother looking back to Kanone once while they were headed back to the hall with all the rooms. “Yes mother.” He said sarcastically seeing as Kanone was telling him he should thank Firra. He already figured that much out. As much as he disliked the style of clothing she had supplied him with she had gone through the effort of giving him dark colors. He did at least hope that they could die his clothes if they couldn't get the paint out, if not then he would just have to look into finding something else himself. Not everything in this damned territory had to look like this... it just couldn't. He hadn't noticed the giggling as soon as Kanone had but his ears did twitch a little when he caught the sound. He turned his head slightly to look at Kanone when he said 'what the' and completely missed the girl that plowed right into him. He just barely took a step back after being run into and immediately shifted his glance to what had run into him. He was a little shocked at the resemblance the girl had to Hikari. His eyes shifted slightly though when he heard the growling dog... if you could call that a dog... He shook his head and focused on the little girl again. He was fully prepared to help her up since she had fallen down. He didn't get the chance to even budge to help her before he had to cover his ears at the shriek the girl cried out. With a cry like that you'd have thought he was killing her or something, not just standing there. He finally lowered his hands from his ears when the girl had tried to get away and wound up planting her face into the floor. He cringed slightly from the sound of what he assumed was her gem hitting the floor. He started towards her as she was finally rolling over onto her back and sighed softly. His expression had already gone soft which was a rather strange look for him if you'd been around him a lot. He completely ignored the dog and knelt down beside her while murmuring quiet reassurances that she was alright and that he wasn't going to hurt her. His own sister wasn't that much younger than this girl looked so it wasn't hard to switch over to the gentle-mode he used with her. He reached his hand out slowly and very gently touched her arm. “Are you alright?” He asked softly. “You hit your head didn't you... does anything else hurt?” He added in just as gentle a tone as he had started with when he addressed her. He would have moved his hand to wipe at any fallen tears but seeing as her first reaction to him and Kanone was to shriek he didn't want to push his luck and get that close to her face right away.

Kanone's shrugged a little when Nero said that his style wasn't much better. "Hey, what's wrong with it?" He chuckled a little when Nero called him mother and shook his head. "Good boy," he responded playfully. His reaction wasn't much better than Nero's when the girl came into view, though he rather quickly found himself covering his ears and gritting his teeth when the girl shrieked. If anything, that girl definitely had a nice set of pipes on her. He lowered his hands and tried to clean out his ears a little before he cringed a little at the sound of the gem cracking off of the floor. That didn't sound good. He was a little surprised when Nero seemed to relax and move forward to check on the now crying girl. He glanced over to the growling little Pomeranian. He had a feeling this was Hikari's dog that she was talking about earlier. He hung back a little while Nero went to check on the little princess, though he kept his eyes on the both of them. He trusted Nero of course, but considering the girl was obviously scared of him, he didn't really know how she was going to react to him getting so close. She probably wasn't really expecting to run into a dark dragon in the hallways of her own home, so he could imagine it was pretty startling. He was just a little amazed at how fast he could alter his mood for the occasion.

The princess kept her eyes closed tightly, barely even taking in too much of what was being said to her. Her head was throbbing a little too much at the moment for her to listen too well, though her eyes snapped open again when someone touched her arm and she froze almost instantly when she found herself looking up at the dark dragon again. It took her a moment to register what he was asking her, but she still couldn't make herself move in order to answer him. She was a little shy by nature around strangers so having two and one being a dark dragon on top of it was a little much for her. The only response she could muster at the moment was to whimper quietly and cringe away from him sightly. She didn't really have the room to get up and try to run again...the wall was in her way.

Moments later, Selenity came hurrying around the corner since she had heard the scream and easily recognized it as her sister's. She had finished getting herself healed and managed to escape Ishta by saying that she wanted to check on everyone...not to mention she was being told to clean up, but that could wait a bit. she was still wearing what she was when she had come in, though her face was now as spotless as ever, and her fist was clean and healed. She came to a quick stop when she found Sri flat on her back crying and holding her forehead while Nero was kneeling beside her. Normally, that could have been taken very badly by another light dragon at first glance, but luckily Selenity wasn't to quick to judge and she of course trusted Nero. She knew how shy Sri was and that she didn't like strangers, not to mention she had no prior warning that there were guests in the castle. It also didn't take much to notice that Sri was missing shoes...her guess she was playing, fell, hurt herself, and Nero found her on his way out of the bath that he had obviously finished with already. She let out a heavy sigh, glad that she was the one who had come across this rather than someone else. "...Sri...," she muttered with a sigh as she started toward them. It didn't take her long to notice the frightened look on Sri's face. "Sri, don't be rude...," she said gently as she stopped beside then and knelt down. She reached over and wrapped her arms around Nero tightly. "See, he's a friend," she said calmly, smiling as she leaned her head over against Nero's for a moment before letting him go. She figured that hugging him was probably the fastest way to show Sri that he meant them no harm.

Sri's eyes flickered over to her sister when she spotted her, though she didn't even seem to recognize her right off...mostly because she could only see up to her knees from that angle. Her eyes brightened a little upon seeing her sister back, even if she was dressed funny, though she still looked like she wanted to go hide in a hole somewhere. She finally blinked once Selenity wrapped her arms around the dark dragon...Nero? Slowly she inched herself backwards and sat up against the wall and curled her legs close to her, looking between the two of them. "...Are you?" she demanded as she stared Nero dead in the eyes. She was still clutching her forehead, and had a tears in her eyes, but she would worry about that in a minute. She trusted her sister, but she didn't really trust her judgment sometimes. Her sister seemed to be really nice to people who weren't really nice back...so she wanted to hear him say it. Then she would believe them...and might get around to answering if anything else hurt.
