Nero noticed the small girl freeze almost instantly when he touched her and gave a quiet, almost inaudible sigh. He couldn't say he didn't expect that... he just kind of wished as a kid, even a light clan one that she didn't freeze up like that. He'd never harm a child... though he guessed no one knew that about him just from seeing him for the first time. He also noticed that she wasn't making any move to answer him on whether or not anything else hurt. He kept his eyes gentle and studied her waiting for some sort of response but was guessing he may not be getting one. He gave another near inaudible sigh when she whimpered and cringed away from him a little. “...I'm not going to hurt you.” He said softly and removed his hand. He hadn't broken his gaze from the small girl right away even when he heard another person approach. He did finally lift his eyes to look at Hikari when he heard her voice. Sri. Her name he guessed. He had long glanced back to Sri once Hikari had continued over though he startled very slightly and didn't let it register on his face when she hugged him. He let go of an easy smile and stayed still while Hikari hugged him and told her sister that he was a friend. Ordinarily he would have moved away from her since she was trying to hug him but he knew better than to do that in front of the girl. He focused on the small girl once again after Hikari had released him. He stared at her when she demanded to know the truth and couldn't help but smile a little more. “Yes, of course.” He said without missing a beat. “Would you're sister really lie to you about something like that?” He asked though he didn't think he needed the answer. Hikari wouldn't lie to her sister about a dark dragon. “Now, you did fall twice... are you hurt anywhere else?” He asked again since she hadn't answered him before.

Kanone was a little relieved when Hikari decided to show up again and sighed quietly in relief since she girl was apparently not taking too well to Nero's attempt at comforting her. He watched at Hikari tried to comfort Sri a little by hugging Nero and snickered softly to himself, while covering his mouth to hide his grin. He noticed that Nero didn't seem to mind, but he could imagine that he wasn't all that thrilled with the motion. It was also a little amusing seeing the child demand an answer from him since she apparently didn't take Hikari's word for it. He was at least glad that Nero didn't argue with her, not that he really had room to do so at the moment.
Selenity sighed heavily when Sri had to go and ask Nero if he really was a friend. She rolled her eyes a little and shook her head, though she did smile a little when Nero spoke right up and agreed. Well, at least he knew how to behave around children. "See?" she said in a satisfied tone when Nero agreed that he was a friend. She had a feeling that he was only agreeing because of Sri, but that was good enough for her. She felt a bit awkward claiming Nero as her friend out of the blue like that but...well, she could be his friend whether he wanted to be hers or not, she guessed.
Sri visibly relaxed when Nero confirmed so quickly that he was a friend and then asked if her sister would lie to her about that. She side glanced to Selenity for a moment and then shook her head a little. "...She doesn't lie," she answered quietly, "...But daddy says she thinks mean people are nice, even if they want to hurt her...." In other words, what she was trying to say that her father thought that she was far too trusting. She shook her head a little when he asked her again if she was hurt anywhere else. "...No, just my head...," she responded quietly. She sniffed and raised her and to ripe her eyes before edging away from the wall and diving at Selenity, wrapping her arms around her tightly. "Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" she demanded as she burrowed her face in Selenity's shirt and laid her ears back again.
Selenity sighed heavily and shook her head when Sri started repeating their father. "Oh geez....do you have to listen to everything that man says?" she muttered under her breath. She knew that her father couldn't stand it that she held no ill will toward every single member of the dark clan over what had happened ears ago, and she was trying to make sure that Sri didn't either. She blinked when Sir moved over to her and practically pounced her in a hug. She sighed again and her own ears fell back a little when she heard the question. She wrapped her own arms around her little sister tightly and gave her a gentle squeeze. "...I'm sorry, Sri...I didn't know I was going to be gone this long...," she responded quietly. She leaned down to kiss the top of her head lightly. "I missed you, though," she told her with a slight smile. She then glanced over to Nero and smiled a little. "She'll be fine...she's shy around strangers," she told her quietly, "...Just watch out once she gets used to you...she will drive you insane." She looked down again and then glanced past Nero to Kanone and half smiled. "Are you going to say 'hi' to Kanone?" she asked and then smiled and shook her head with an amused expression when Sri just shook her head violently while still hiding her face in her shirt. She finally glanced over to the little growling fuzz-ball and rolled her eyes. "Put a sock in it, Glory," she said irritably toward the dog...which apparently had no cares to listen to her order as it kept growling.

Nero smiled slightly when Sri say that Hikari didn't lie but continued with a 'but'. Of course there was but... wasn't there always? He sighed quietly hearing her say what she had. “Not all people who look mean are mean. You won't know for sure until you meet them.” He said quietly. He wouldn't deny that a good portion of the dark dragons from his clan would be mean first when it came to light dragons... well... any dragon really but he didn't need to go and say that to the girl and wind up with her scared of him more so. He gave a slight nod of his head when she said that it was just her head that hurt. “At least nothing else is wrong.” He said softly and then watched as the girl wound up attaching herself to Hikari. He continued to stay knelt where he was for a few moments and then started to get to his feet. In a way he was kind of glad that Hikari had come around when she did. He wasn't so sure he would have been able to comfort the girl as easily as he would his own sister.

Selenity looked over to Nero and smiled warmly when he had said that not all people who looked mean were mean. "He's right," she agreed softly before looking back to her sister again. Once Nero had gotten to his feet and she had finished speaking to Sri she stood up as well, pulling Sri up to her feet as well. She stroked her hair once and then looked over to the other two again. "Well, I'm glad you two were able to get cleaned up so quickly. Ishta did show you where the rooms are, right?" she asked, looking mostly at Nero since he was the closest.
Kanone chuckled softly when Hikari asked Sri if she was going to say hi to him and the girl shook her head. "Aww..." He finally moved a little closer and then glanced to Nero when Hikari asked if Ishta had told them where the rooms were and nodded. "Yeah, she showed us...sorta. Nanashi's in the first room...I dunno where everyone else is."
Selenity nodded slightly and then smiled a little. "That's good..I kind of mentioned him tot he healer, I hope she'll come and see what she can do with him."
Sri looked up from Selenity's shirt finally and glanced around for a moment before tugging on the material she was holding onto. "How many people did you bring home, sissy?"
Selenity had to think for a moment after the question, "Eight...I think." She glanced back down to Sri again and finally pried the girl off of her. "Sri, why don't you go play somewhere else? Everyone is tired right now, and I still have to go get cleaned up before I get my ears reamed. I'll come play with you later, okay?"
Sri looked up again and her ears fell back when she was told to go play somewhere else. "...Okay..." she muttered quietly. Clearly she wasn't very enthused about behind told to go somewhere else, but she would usually do what her sister said...most of the time. She glanced back toward Nero and Kanone for a moment and then offered them both a shy smile before reaching over to give Nero a quick hug. "Sorry," she told him before she giggled and turned a little red before whirling around to run off again, this time remembering to pick up her dress. She seemed to have gotten over her spill fast enough at least.
"Don't fall again!" Selenity called after her before shaking her head a little and giving the dog a nudge with her foot. "Go on, get out of here. Shoo!" She watched as she dog growled again and then took off after her sister again. "Well...sorry about that," she said with a half smile. "Anyway, come with me, I think I know a room you might like," she said lightly as she reached down to snag Nero's wrist and then remembered that she still had something to give him. "Oh right," she muttered as she dropped his wrist again and fished the arm-band out of her pocket to hand to him. "Here, keep this on."

Nero nodded his head slightly when Hikari made the comment about being glad to see that they were able to get cleaned up so quickly. He was kind of glad of that himself. He didn't much care for white hair, let alone anything else. His horns were white enough for him. He gave another slight nod of his head after she had asked if Ishta had shown them the rooms and agreed with Kanone since he had answered. “She was brief and passed us off the first chance she got.” He stated. “She seemed busy.” He added with a shrug. He glanced down at Sri when she started asking some questions of Hikari he didn't speak, just kind of stood quietly. He kind of felt like maybe Hikari should have elaborated on the number of people she brought back with her. It probably would have been better to tell the small girl that there was another dark dragon besides himself and that there were animals as well... he wasn't sure how a kid would take to seeing the mutts and they might very well frighten her at first. Kyiri on the other hand... so long as she was in her kitten form or child form wasn't at all that scary looking. He startled very slightly when Sri reached over and rather suddenly hugged him and apologized on top of it. He was a little speechless, mostly because she had been so uncomfortable before and even a little frightened and here she had hugged him. He watched her when she started off again and then shook his head a little. He glanced back to Hikari when he heard her apologize as well and then shook his head. “It's alright, I know what it's like.” He responded before giving a brief nod at her having said she knew a room he might like. He was still kind of in his nice mood so he didn't really pull away from Hikari when she grabbed his wrist though after she dropped it he made sure to move it back to his side just out of her reach. He looked down at what she was handing him, he recognized it as the same wristband that Reyes was wearing. He didn't protest, though he would have liked to and took it from her. He then pushed up his sleeve just enough that he could slip the wristband on and then dropped his arm back down to his side. “There. Anything else I have to wear?” He said mostly teasingly.

Hikari smiled a bit when Nero said that he knew how it was and then nodded. "She's cute when she wants to be. I think she likes you a little now that she doesn't think you're going to eat her. So long as you're nice to her, she will love you to death." That was just how Sri was. She knew that she probably wouldn't have too much of a problem with the others, though she did plan to tell her about them later...she didn't really have time to be too in-depth right now, so she would give her a run-down once she got out of the bath and got dressed...or while she was getting dressed if she came in to bug her. She smiled a bit when Nero put on the wristband and asked if there was anything else. "Well, I'm sure Sri could come up with a few thins," she said playfully. "No, that's all, so long as you keep that on you can wear whatever you like. By the way..." She paused as she looked him over once, "Not bad. You look nice in those clothes. I think they look better that color." She laughed softly and then turned around to go around the corner. "Come on." She made her way down to the second door on the right, or at least the right when coming from this end of the hallway, and then reached over to open the door. This was probably one of the darkest colored rooms that they had, all things considered. The rooms went inf a sort of rainbow order, so this one was or course blue, though it was not a very light shade and was almost navy. The furnishings were like every other room, two beds, a rug, dresser, night stands, changing screen, mirror, and curtains that could be drawn over the windows. "I'm sorry Ishta didn't show you around better, she was apparently eager to get back downstairs and get on my tail." She sighed and turned back to them again before smiling slightly. "So, how will this work?"
Kanone, of course, didn't have too much to be said in the other hallway, though he did chuckle when Nero got hugged. "Cuddle hog," he said playfully since he had been hugged twice and he didn't even get a 'hi' out of the exchange. It didn't bother him, but he did find it a bit amusing. Once they got moving again he followed just a little behind Nero, though he shrugged when Hikari asked what they thought. "I'm not picky," he responded lightly.

Nero ignored Kanone's 'cuddle hog' comment and then rolled his eyes a little when Hikari responded that she thought her sister could come up with a few things more for him to wear. That was probably one thing he really wanted to avoid at all costs. Dress up with little girls was embarrassing and he knew it already thanks to his own little sister. He just kind of stared at her after she had said that he looked nice in the clothes and that she thought they looked better this color. He still didn't care for the clothes and it was probably slowly starting to show again. “I just hope that that maid can get my clothes cleaned up enough to be worn again.” He commented and then started after her once she had said 'come on' and started walking. He paused and glanced to the room after Hikari had opened the door and apologized about Ishta then asked how the room would work. The color didn't look that bad but his main concern was going to be how well the curtains blocked out the light and he wouldn't know that until he actually went in and checked. “...Should be alright.” He said after the initial inspection. “The curtains aren't just for show, right?” He asked quietly. He wouldn't have put it past the decorator to have put curtains in that were useless and just that, a decoration.

Hikari glanced back to Nero when he said that he hoped his clothes could be cleaned and sighed softly as her ears fell back a little. Apparently she was going to have to try to do something about that at some point. "Don't worry about it...we'll come up with something you can stand," she said quietly. She still felt bad that Nero had wound up with paint on him to begin with, so of course she wanted to make sure that he had something that he was comfortable with wearing. She smiled a little once he said that the room should be alright and then looked in at the curtains. "Hmm..." she stepped into the room and walked over to the curtains, unhooking the rope that held the curtain back before snagging a hand full and pulling it across the window so that it blocked out most of the light. She turned back to Nero again, her eyes practically glowing in the darkened room. "Looks like they work," she said lightly as she started back toward the door again. "Need anything else?" she asked lightly.
Kanone smiled slightly when Hikari confirmed that the curtains closed and then glanced over to Nero. He knew he was going to wind up rooming with him since...well he didn't know who else would. He didn't know if Celestine would room with them or not, but he didn't mind either way. Of course he wasn't going to be quite so comfortable with the darkened room, but at least he wasn't quite as bad as Celestine when it came to being claustrophobic and disliking dark, closed-off spaces. Not to mention, it really did look like a nice room, and he wouldn't mind just falling out on the bed for a little while. "So, which bed you want?" he asked Nero lightly. He just wanted to go put his stuff down so he could stop hauling it around.

Nero didn't bother really saying a word after Hikari had said not to worry about the clothes and that they would come up with something that he could stand. He would have added that he normally dressed like a commoner so that was what he was most comfortable with but that should have been obvious and he didn't really want to seem completely ungrateful for what he had been given. He started into the room himself after Hikari had headed inside to check the curtains. He watched her as she pulled them closed and nodded his head faintly almost in immediate approval at the curtains. They seemed like they would work well enough and at least here he wasn't going to have to put blankets or anything up to block out the light. He focused briefly on Hikari's eyes since they appeared to be glowing a bit. He had seen them before but it was still something to get used to since he didn't see that everyday. He shook his head a little after she had asked if they needed anything else. “No, I don't believe so.” He responded. He had originally hoped for a room by himself mostly because he was pretty picky with rooms and he had to have things his way or he was uncomfortable and honestly he wouldn't want to subject anyone to have to share a room with him. Then again... sharing a room with Kanone wasn't entirely that appealing either. He was going to be stuck rooming with someone who would be on his tail if he didn't eat and likely if he never left the room. He glanced over to Kanone momentarily when he heard him ask which bed he wanted. He sighed quietly and then averted his eyes. “That isn't obvious?” He paused. “The farther I am from the source of the light the better.” He told him before starting over to the bed closest to the door so that he could set his brass knuckles down on the nightstand.

Kanone laughed slightly when Nero laid claim to a bed and then shrugged. "Works for me," he said lightly as he started over to the other bed to put his things down by the wall. He sighed heavily and then moved over to the bed and sat down on the edge before flopping over backwards across the mattress sideways.
Hikari smiled a little when Nero approved of the room and nodded when he said that they didn't need anything else and then laughed softly as Kannone just decided to sprawl out. "Alright...well if you need anything later, feel free to let someone know. You can relax for a while, I doubt anyone will bother you." She smiled at them and then slipped back into the hallway before starting back toward the stairs, though she did pause briefly to knock lightly at Kyran's door, or at least she assumed he was in there since that was the only door that wasn't entirely closed. She just stopped long enough to show off her newly healed face and hand as well as tell them there the baths were located in case they felt like cleaning up. She gave them the run down about the girl's bath having pink doors rather than blue so they wouldn't get confused. She also asked him if he would let the girls know about that in case they wanted to clean up since it had been a couple of days for everyone. She also informed him that she had told the healer to come up and check on Nanashi, so hopefully he would be feeling better later on. She had to make ti quick since she knew that if her father happened to catch her looking like this, she was going to get told off for dressing so improperly and so on and so forth...so once she had filled Kyran in, she hurried away so that she could go get cleaned up and changed into her usual clothes, as much as she didn't really feel like fighting her way into one of those dresses.

Nero just kind of waved Hikari off after she had said that if they needed anything to feel free to let someone know. He didn't really think they would need anything, at least not for a while. He nodded his head slightly after hearing that they could relax for a while and that she didn't think anyone would bother them. He didn't think anyone would either... that is unless they really wanted to see for themselves that there was indeed a couple of dark dragons in the palace. After Hikari had left the room he glanced over to Kanone who had sprawled out on the bed. He shook his head slightly and then wandered over to the door to shut it tightly. Once he had shut the door he returned to his bed and kicked out of his boots before sitting down and then shifting so that he could lay down. He figured now was probably as good a time as any to rest his eyes for a little while, especially now that he was cleaned up.
Kyran had of course gotten up to answer the door when he heard someone knock and was a bit happy to find Hikari on the other side as well as see that her face and hand were better. He wasn't necessarily someone overly concerned with looks but he was glad to see her face fixed. He listened to everything that she had to say to him and nodded once she was finished and let her leave. He was happy that a healer was going to try and come up and see Nanashi. He was concerned about how Nanashi was doing and was sure that a healer would help put him and a couple others at ease. After Hikari had left he made sure that Celestine knew where the baths were before he slipped across the hall to the girls room to let them know about the baths as well. He explained about the pink and blue doors and then left them alone and returned to his and Celestine's room. He figured the girls would take advantage of the bath since at least LaRae and Aamori seemed happy about finding out. He thought he might look into it as well but was going to let Celestine be by himself for now. He didn't exactly want to embarrass the kid further by following him to the baths.

Celestine wasn't all that thrilled about the idea of going to bathe, but he knew that he probably should, so he reluctantly gathered up a clean pair of clothes, namely the white and gold dress shirt and tan sued vest and pants that he had first worn in his own territory along with the golden sash. After making his way back to the bath and gathering his towels he was less than thrilled to see that the bath was so large...though there were showers he doubted those would work quite as well. Normally when in the bath he tried to keep his wings as much out of the water as he could and just wash them off a little, but this time he just completely soaked them and could almost instantly see loose feathers floating around. He spent the majority of his bath collecting stray feathers and piling them up into a wet pile on top of a towel laid out beside the bath. Once he had finally managed to get most of the feathers off of his wings, or at leas the ones that weren't still firmly attached, he went ahead and started to scrub himself down and wash his mane of hair. As expected, it took him a ridiculously long time in the bath, but as least once he was out he felt a little better, and his wings were by no means as heavy as usual...though the top section on the insides and outside were practically bald. He dried himself as best as he could before getting dressed, disposing of the feathers and putting up the towels. Once all of that was finished he practically scurried back to the room he was sharing with Kyrana and almost immediately took to combing his long damp hair out almost vigorously so that it would dry faster, all the wile sitting on the floor red-faced since he knew his wings were still visible.
Nanashi, surprisingly, was actually up and feeling a little better within an hour or two. The healer had indeed checked in on him and woken him up long enough to get him to drink something...though he felt more energized and felt his dizziness subside soon afterward. She also healed the the injury that he had sustained to the head, as well as his busted nose, and was even nice enough to rid him of all of his bruising. Something told him he really must have looked pretty pitiful if she was willing to use so much energy on him, but he thanked her nonetheless, even if he was unreasonably uncomfortable having her caring for his injuries. She also even had someone bring him some clothes to change into for now, though they where more or less just comfortable white night clothes. They all most made him change right then and the maid made off with his clothes to have them washed, all but his headband which he refused to remove, even after a couple of attempts on their part to talk him into it. Honestly, eh didn't think that he was ever going to get used to this kind of thing, he was by no means used to being waited on like this, even when it was LaRae it was uncomfortable, so a perfect stranger was even worse. The healer also informed him of where the bathroom was so that he could go clean himself up. Though he didn't quite feel like taking an all-out bath right now, he did wander down that way and at least found a wash cloth to wash himself off a little more thoroughly than he had gotten to this morning. He still had a bit of blood on him, which he washed off easily enough, as well as other areas that needed it. He wanted to wash his hair, but he could do that a little later...like when he was pretty sure that everyone else would be asleep and he could do so without being walked in on. He had already gathered that it was likely a multiple person bath...which of course did not sit very well with him as it hadn't in Kairava. Once he was satisfied that he was clean enough for now, he returned back to his room and just sat down on the bed again before looking around. He was feeling much better but he was still pretty tired, so he thought he would probably just curl up and try to sleep a little longer.

Kyran stayed in the bedroom once Celestine had left to bathe. Rather than leaving to find something to do to occupy his time he stayed where he had been on the bed and made himself comfortable. He thought now was probably a good enough time as any to rest his eyes, possibly even try and get a nap in. He continued to lay propped up on the bed half asleep at least until Celestine finally came back. He cracked his eyes open slightly and watched him go sit on the floor and start on his hair. He didn't utter a word and just started to sit himself more upright so that his back was against the headboard. He lifted his hand to stifle a small yawn before glancing back over to Celestine. “Was it as bad as you thought it would be?” He asked. He could see that Celestine was missing a number of feathers that he had left the room with so he assumed that the bath had helped rid him of some of the feathers.
LaRae and Aamori both hadn't wasted very much time staying in the room after Kyran had come to tell them about the baths. Both of them had wanted to get cleaned up, Aamori most of all. They had both tried talking Reyes into coming with them but she kept turning them down and said that she would bathe later. Neither of them really pushed her any further and left to take their baths. They lingered in the bath just long enough to soak and enjoy it before they got dressed again and headed back to their room. LaRae wouldn't have minded taking some time to check on Nanashi but she refrained mostly because she wanted him to get as much rest as he needed.

Celestine glanced up to Kyran when he asked if it was as bad as he had thought and then sighed. "...I spent the first hour just grabbing feathers out of the water and making a soppy mountain beside the tub," he responded in a somewhat monotone voice. He looked down at his hand, which was still a bit pruned from being in the water for so long, and then went back to combing his hair, a little less feverishly. "It just takes forever to get dry..." he muttered under his breath as he combed a bit of water out of his long mass of hair and them pulled another section over his shoulder to filter through the comb's wide teeth. That was his biggest gripe with anything that involved him getting wet. he had a lot of hair and a lot of feathers...well normally a lot of feathers, so it could take him a long time to dry off unless he used magic, and he wasn't exactly the type to frivolously use his magic for such things no matter how annoying it was to wait. He preferred not to waste it in case something more important came up. He couldn't deny feeling a little better after having been able to get clean, but it would have been nice if he could have actually relaxed and not had to worry so much about leaving too many feathers in the water. He was certain that he had probably left a few with as many as he had lost, it was unlikely that he had managed to grab every last one of them...but he wasn't going to go back and go fishing for them. At least the vast majority of the feathers that were trying to fall out had managed to do so. Perhaps once they grew back again they wouldn't be quite so prone to remaining water logged for so long. Normally his newer feathers weren't as bad about that as ones that were on the verge of molting away since they still had a lot of their waxy gloss to them. He did glance back to the bed for a moment and noticed that Kyiri had already made herself at home on the pillow, a little blue-gray ball in the midst of all of that orange. That cat really listened so well sometimes.... Oh well, he supposed it was fine if Kyran thought no one would care.

Kyran couldn't help but shake his head a little at what Celestine had said about spending the first hour collecting feathers. That didn't really sound like fun and it probably just annoyed him more than the bath possibly could have relaxed him. He sighed quietly after hearing him add that it took forever to get dry. “I can imagine, at least as far as the feathers are concerned.” He paused. “Your long hair was your own doing so you can't rightfully complain about that taking forever to dry.” He said as he stared over at Celestine. If he didn't like how long it took to dry he could always have just cut his hair. Short hair did dry faster after all.

Celestine gave Kyran a thoroughly irritated look at the very mention of his hair being long. One thing that even Kyran couldn't escape about Celestine was that he was extremely sensitive where his looks were concerned, so mentioning much of anything about changing them or criticizing them could set him off pretty easily. "Would you want to keep your hair short so everyone could see this when it happens?" he asked, opening his wings a little. His wings...really did look pretty bad at the moment as the vast majority of them were bald and showed his pale white skin, which also looked a little irritated where the feathers had recently come out. When his hair wasn't sticking together, it did a nice job of keeping his wings hidden for the most part, even when the feathers were on in all of their glory. He just huffed as he closed his wings again and shook out his hair a little before starting to comb it again, refraining from saying anything else about it. Kyran didn't want to hear him complain, fine, he wouldn't complain. That didn't mean that it didn't annoy him any less. After a few moments he just dropped the comb to the rug again. 'Oh, to hell with it', he thought before he stood up and walked over to the window before sliding back the door and stepping out onto the balcony before moving over to the edge and started to comb his fingers down through his hair as he began to mutter a quiet chant. He closed his eyes just as they started to glow a little, and his hair started to blow around rapidly, along with the edges of his shirt, his earrings, and his feathers as if he was caught in the middle of a miniature tornado. Of course the wind caused him to lose a few more feathers, but he was busy trying his best to run his fingers through his hair to try and keep it from knotting up too much. He didn't want to sit and wait for his hair to dry for the next hour and a half, so it was faster to just use his magic...even though he wouldn't normally. He just really couldn't stand having his wings exposed when they were like this. Unfortunately, even at this rate, it was taking longer than he cared for, but at least it was coming along faster, especially with the sun's help. He was just going to have fun getting the comb through his hair again once he was done with this...that was another drawback.
Nanashi had just managed to doze off again when there was a knock at his door, waking him up again. He stood up and went to the door, opening it timidly before he caught sight of an unfamiliar maid with a garment folded over her arms informing him that if he was feeling well enough that he could change into these so that he could come down to dinner. Well...he was pretty hungry by now, so he accepted the clothes and thanked her before closing the door again and retreating back to the screen just in case anyone wandered in while he changed. it didn't take him too long to get into the new outfit, though it was a little different than what he was used to. After returning from behind the screen he stole a peek at himself in the mirror just to see what he looked like in this, and couldn't help but gawk at himself for a moment. He had never in his life been in anything more fancy than the coat that Aamori had made form him, but he was pretty sure that this topped it a bit. The shirt, or well it was probably more like a robe now that he thought about it, was very decorative in itself, made of comfortable white raw silk with a high neck that came together at the top and pinned with a round red brooch, and a piece of fabric came around from the base of the neck and ran all the way around his shoulders, hanging a couple of inches below them before it came together at the front, though it still left an upside down V opening where another decoration was fastened. This one was similar to the one on Nero's outfit, only there were definable decorative 'sun-rays' coming from around the large red center stone and intertwining with smaller ones coming from two smaller gems on either side and above the main one, and again there were five smaller evenly spaced teardrop gems dangling from the edges of the decoration, which was hanging from golden chains fastened to the shoulders under the fabric that hung over. Along the sides beneath the long sleeves was another decorative area that was pale red on the inside with a golden embroidery running along the edges of the opening where white ribbons were laced evenly in a criss-crossing motion over the red fabric. The embroidery continue down to the bottom of the robe, which fell to just about eight inches above his ankles, and around the edges of the loose sleeves, as well as the fabric that hung over the shoulders and the top of the neck. A red sash was tied around the waist and had another of the red brooches with the sun-like golden fixtures and a couple of gold tassels that hung below it with red beads. The bottom of the outfit split off at the center somewhere below the sash, leaving it open in the front and back so that it only hung over the outside of his legs. Below the shirt, robe, whatever it was, of course he had on white dress pants that matched the top. It would have looked a bit better had his headband been white, as the black really didn't go with the outfit at all, but there was nothing that he could do about that, and he wasn't about to take it off. Then again, his shoes were black as well so...that would be another thing that didn't really match to the fullest. He tried to straighten out his hair as best as he could and then just shook his head, deciding to let it fall wherever it saw fit since that just...seemed to work better.

Kyran was slightly startled by the look that Celestine had given him after what he had said. He hadn't been meaning what he said to be offensive even in the slightest so he was a little surprised at Celestine's response. He had kind of meant it to be more matter-of-fact than anything. He sighed quietly and refrained from saying anything else. Clearly Celestine was a little on edge about his appearance, even more so now than ever and he guessed it was with good reason. He watched him momentarily when he headed for the balcony and stepped out. He gathered he was trying to dry it faster after watching briefly. He was starting to think that rooming with Celestine might lead to more little situations like this where he really didn't know what to say.

Celestine had his back to the balcony's railing so that his hair was flying about over the balcony. He wasn't really looking anywhere, though he did seem a little more relaxed now that he was standing outside with the wind whipping around him. Even if he was the one creating it, it was relaxing...more relaxing than a bath could ever be for him. It was easy for him to relax here seeing as he was high off of the ground. Even if he couldn't fly, he wasn't afraid of heights and he was easily calmed by being outside somewhere close to the sky where he could feel the wind. After he had been outside for a few minutes, he wasn't entirely sure how long, he heard a knock at the door and opened his eyes, causing the wind to dissipate and his now fluffy, nearly dried hair to float down over his shoulders. He quickly pushed his hair back over his shoulders again to cover his wings while he waited for Kyran to get the door.
Firra had yet again found herself talked into going upstairs to fetch everyone for dinner, or at least let them know that it would be soon and that they should start heading downstairs. She had already knocked on the first door on this side of the hall and moved down to the next door. She had already told the halfbreed about dinner, and he was apparently in the process of putting his shoes on. He hadn't even bothered to close the door. She sighed as she waited for someone to answer the door in this room and absently glanced down the hallway. She had a feeling the other two were in one of the rooms further down considering she had a feeling no dark dragon was going to want to put himself through staying in one of the more brightly colored rooms.
Another maid had come up a few paces behind Firra and had taken the other side of the hall. The two maids that had been up here earlier had warned most of the others about there being a male dark dragon here, so they had all pretty much ganged up on Firra to get her to go up first and take the male's side of the hallway, and whoever went up first would get the girl's side. The made knocked lightly on the first door along the hallway and waited patiently for someone to answer the door so that she could tell them what they needed to do.

Kyran continued to stay seated on the bed with his back against the headboard. He occasionally glanced towards Celestine but otherwise didn't focus too much on him. He wasn't quite sure what to do with all the time they seemed to have and half thought about trying to go back to sleep. Though he was vaguely aware that it would be dinner time soon enough and of course as he was thinking of that he did hear the knock at the door. He glanced briefly to Celestine and then started to get up from the bed and head for the door. He got to the door as quickly as he could and opened it up. He wasn't really sure who to expect. He didn't really think that it would be Hikari again so he wasn't that surprised to see a maid at the door. He smiled a little after getting the door open and looked at her. “...Yes?” He asked a little curiously.
LaRae started for the door almost as soon as she heard the knock and had a bit of a fight to get to the door first because Reyes wanted to open it. She made it there first but Reyes was right behind her so anyone on the other side of the door couldn't miss her. LaRae shook her head a little while she started to open the door. She looked out at the maid and smiled a little while she waited for hear what the maid had to say and honestly hoped the sight of Reyes didn't scare her off. She wasn't sure how many people knew about Nero and Reyes so she kind of hoped that the sight of Reyes didn't cause the maid to forget what she had come for and take off running or something.

Celestine started to step away from the balcony and made his way back into the bedroom as Kyran went to the door, closing the window behind him while he faced the rest of the room and looked over to the maid that was standing there when Kyran opened the door. He listened quietly to what she said as he made his way a little closer to the doors, though once he heard something about dinner he started to move over to the area where he had dropped his comb and knelt down to pick it up again before finally perching on the edge of the bed to start combing out his hair, starting at the tips and working his way up.
Firra looked up to the thunder dragon when he opened the door and just stared at him for a couple of seconds with that usual blank expression before she curtsied a little. "Sorry to disturb you. Dinner will be served shortly." She was a little short with her response, but she didn't see that coming down to dinner required any elaborate explanations.
The maid that had come to the girl's room was tiny, though she was about the same age as Firra. She was dressed in the pink and white version of the maid uniform and had long white-blond hair that fell down her to her mid-back and big blue eyes. She looked up to the Earth...halfbreed? No...she thought she might have spied a bit of a stub under her hair. The girl was short enough that she could almost see up under the girl's bangs. "Um...," she started quietly, though her already large blue eyes widened when she spotted the dark dragon behind the earth dragon. Even that girl was an inch or so taller than she was. She cast a nervous glance down the hall to where Firra was standing at the other door and then looked back up again, her ears falling back as she started fiddling nervously with her apron. "Uh...um....uh..." she stuttered quietly in a high pitched voice, "I...Th...the...the um....uh...." She hadn't been told that there were two dark dragons here. She thought Firra was going to take care of the dark dragon. She absently backed up a little and glanced back down the hallway again, her gaze alone just screaming 'HELP!'
Firra glanced back over her shoulder when she heard the little maid's nervous babbling. She sighed heavily, rolling her eyes a little before she looked back to the thunder dragon. "Excuse me..." she said dryly as she turned around and walked back down the hallway. She planted her hands down on the other maids shoulders and gave her a mildly irritated look before looking through the door. She glanced into the room for a moment and then sighed when she saw the second dark dragon. Well, that was why she was acting like such a ditz. This girl was a little clumsy and shy as it was. "Dinner will be ready soon," she informed them. Her eyes wandered over the one who had answered the door's clothes for a moment before she raised an eyebrow and then started to shoo the other maid off. "...Go find her something to change into...."
"L-like what!?" the maid squeaked, as she stumbled forward.
"...Like something dinner table worthy,"
"O-okay," she responded quickly before she started to scurry away so quickly that she tripped over her own feel and landed flat on her face in the middle of the hallway.
Firra merely slapped her forehead and shook her head a little before she walked over to help the girl up. "Try not to kill yourself before you get there...," she said with a heavy sigh.
"O-okay!" she responded before she scurried back toward the stairs again and quickly disappeared down the stairs.
Firra turned her attention back to the doors for a moment and then sighed. "...Does anyone know which room Nero and Kanone are in?" she asked simply, hoping that one of them could save her knocking on every door along the rest of the hall.

Kyran gave a slight nod of his head when he heard the maid say that dinner would be served shortly. That was good to know though he was kind of curious who they would be having dinner with. He didn't exactly see the Princesses traveling companions as worthy table quests for the Royal family, especially when two of of them were dark dragons. The town itself would probably have a conniption if they knew two dark dragons were staying in the palace, let alone dinning with the Royal family. He tilted his head slightly and glanced across the hall when he caught the other maids babbling and then nodded his head once more when the maid in front of him said excuse me. He continued to stay by the door and watched the maid go across the hall to try and rescue the other one. He assumed that the smaller maid must not have been informed about the other dark dragon or at least that was the only thing that he could think of that would set the one maid off into babbling like that. He only watched long enough to see the one maid trip and fall on her face, by then he was pretty sure that he had seen enough. He sighed quietly and started to turn back to the bedroom and shut the door behind him. He looked over at Celestine momentarily. “You heard that right?” He asked though he figured that Celestine had heard just fine.
LaRae watched the maids eyes widen and then glanced back briefly to Reyes before looking back at the maid while she started stumbling over what she was trying to say. She honestly felt a little bad for the girl but there wasn't really anything that could be done. She did at least wait patiently to see if the girl would ever get out what she was trying to say. When she didn't and the other maid wound up coming over she sighed quietly. “Alright, thank you.” She responded almost right away after she had said that dinner would be ready soon. She had been prepared for that to be the end of it but she tilted her head a little and stared at the maid before looking down at her own clothes. She supposed what she was wearing really wasn't all that... acceptable... given where they were. She wanted to protest being given new clothes to wear but didn't think that would be very wise. She watched the exchange between the two maids and then leaned her head out a little when she heard the other maid trip and fall and then straightened up pretty quickly when the one in darker clothes shifted her attention after helping the other maid up. She was a little surprised by the question but shook her head a little. “No, I'm sorry. None of us know.” She answered quietly.

Celestine looked up to Kyran when he asked if he had heard that and nodded slightly. "Of course I heard," he responded quietly. He was sure everyone was well aware he could have heard the girl even if she was on the other end of the hall. He could even vaguely hear the other girl out in the hallway babbling before the other maid went back to relay the same message to the girls. He sighed softly as he continued to try to work the comb through his hair. He continued to fight with the tangles the wind had created in his hair diligently, though he had gone very quiet while doing so. Thankfully, his hair was naturally straight and not curly, so it at least didn't knot up as badly as it could have, but it was still pretty tangled and annoying him a little. He didn't bother to say anything about it, however. He glanced down to his clothing and then sighed quietly as he glanced up to Kyran. "...Do you think...this is alright?" he asked as he motioned to his outfit with his hand. Almost all of Celestine's clothes were dressy to an extent, but to him even that seemed normal compared to this place.
Firra nodded her head slightly and then sighed. "Aright...thanks anyway, I'll find them. When and if she returns, please get changed quickly." Again she curtsied a little before straightening up and starting to make her way down the hallway again. She decided to just go all the way to the end and started at the first door at that end. She knocked and stood there for a few moments, long enough that someone should have had time to answer the door, before she made her way down to the next door and knocked.
Kanone opened his eyes when he heard a knock at the door before he sat up and looked over to Nero. "...Mmm....Wanna get that?" he asked since he had a feeling he might trip up a little on his way over there. It was pretty dark in here with the windows and door closed. Kanone could see, but not very well, or at least not very well on the dark carpets as compared to the white floors and walls. He could have gotten up to grab the door himself but honestly...he didn't want to get up. Nero had a shorter walk to the door anyway.

Kyran started back towards his bed and started to sit down on the edge of it. He had only nodded in acknowledgment to Celestine when he responded to him that of course he heard. He wasn't particularly concerned with clothing at least until Celestine had brought it up. He looked over to him and what he was wearing and then nodded. “You're fine. Don't worry about it.” He told him before he glanced down at himself a little. He knew he was dressed a little nicer than he should have been for this trip but that was working out just fine for the situation they were finding themselves in. The only people he really worried about as far as clothes went were Nanashi, LaRae and Nero. The clothes that Nanashi had been given in Kairava were nice but he had been kind of bloody so he hoped that he had been given something else to wear or was getting something else. Nero he assumed had already been given new clothes since his shower and LaRae was getting new clothes.
LaRae continued to look at the maid and then nodded her head when she said that if the other maid came back to get changed quickly. She just hoped that whatever the maid came back with it wasn't a dress. She really was more a pants person and dresses really weren't her thing. The one and only time she had ever been in a dress was when Sonia had forced her into one. She had been complimented a lot in that dress but she was still utterly uncomfortable. She lingered at the door for only a moment while she watched the maid head across the hall. She sighed quietly and pushed the door mostly shut before she started over to the bed to sit down. She really hoped she wasn't going to be stuck with a dress, so much so she actually crossed her fingers a little.
Nero heard the knock at the door but hadn't bothered getting up right away. He didn't exactly want to be disturbed but guessed it couldn't be helped. He also kind of hated the fact that his bed was closer to the door because he was going to be the one stuck getting the door every time. He sighed and rolled his eyes a little before he started to sit up and swing his legs over the edge of the bed. He could see pretty good in the dark so he wasn't worried about any light while he went to the door. He sighed again as he reached the door and then started to open it. He was slow about it since he was going from a pretty dark room to a lit hall. He somehow wasn't that surprised to see Firra standing there. He didn't say anything though and just waited for her to say what she wanted.

Celestine glanced up to Kyran and then nodded his head weakly when he told him not to worry about his clothes. He sighed softly and then resumed trying to run the comb through his hair, only just now managing to straighten it out to about the half-way point. It took him another couple of minutes to finish getting all of the tangles out, and then he stood and started to run the comb down through his hair again before pushing it all back over his shoulders, making sure that his wings were folded tightly behind his back as his hair spilled over them, hiding them from view for the post part. He then sat down and finally started to go about putting his moccasins back on since he highly doubted that they would appreciate him coming to the table barefoot.
Firra looked at Nero once he had opened the door and then tried to glance past him to see if she could see Kanone, though she couldn't really see much of anything in the dark room. "Dinner will be served shortly," she informed him, "I was told to inform you that you are welcome to come down. If Kanone in in there with you, please inform him as well."
"I heard ya," Kanone called from his now upright position on the bed.
"Very well then," she said simply, "That is all."
It took the small maid a good ten minutes come back upstairs with a dress that she thought might fit the earth dragon, and carried it folded carefully over her arm. She timidly approached the door and knocked very lightly again. The dress was relatively simple as compared to what it could have been considering there she was getting it from. The top of the dress consisted simply of golden material that ran over the shoulders and connected in the back before running around beneath the breasts. The back of the dress was open and came down into a v-point just above the read and another v-point connected the breasts. The rest of the dress was simply apple green and ran all the way to the floor, or at least on a tall woman it would go to the floor in a flowing manner and hug the hips. She waited anxiously for the door to open again so that she could hand off the dress and then scurry back down the stairs again.

Nero nodded his head once Firra had said that dinner would be served shortly and that she was informed to tell him that he was welcome to come down. He disregarded the bit directed for Kanone because he knew Kanone was in the room and could most likely hear Firra. He wasn't really sure how he took being told that he was welcome to come down for dinner. He half expected to be eating in the room or somewhere out of the way because of what he was but the other half of him expected that Hikari wouldn't treat him any differently than any one else. Even still it was a little weird to him being told he could come down when he doubted anyone else was told that much. He continued to look at Firra for a moment after she had said that was all and sighed quietly. “Thank you.” He paused. “For the the work put into the clothes too.” He added. He still wasn't crazy about the clothes but he was at least thankful that she had gotten him dark colors rather than something bright or white.
LaRae didn't waste any time in getting to the door this time when she heard the knock and Reyes had stayed on her bed as to not scare the daylights out of the maid. She had kind of expected the maid to be back at any time so she had been sitting on the edge of her bed. Once she reached the door she pulled it open slowly and almost immediately looked down to see what the maid had in her hand. The color alone was what caught her attention, followed by the fabric since it had a sheen to it. Just by those two things alone she couldn't say she hated it but she did believe it was a dress without even having to have it held up completely. She wasn't sure fabric like that was used on anything but. She tried her best not to look the least bit put off and reached out to take the garment when handed to her. “Thanks.” She responded quietly and waited for the maid to leave before shutting the door and getting a better look at the garment... which was indeed a dress. She groaned quietly and headed for the screen right away to get changed since that other maid had said to do so quickly once the clothing was brought to her. She didn't quite care for wearing another dress but she did want to have dinner and apparently her usual clothes just weren't going to suffice.
