Kanone moved aside easily once Nero seemed intent on getting to his bed. "...Well...yeah...," he responded after Nero had pointed out the obvious in response to his question. He sighed softly and started to move away from the door himself, following Nero over to the bed, although he didn't bother to sit down. He could see that Reyes was even less happy than he was before Nero had come back. He didn't breathe a word when Reyes started to complain and Nero shushed him before he was even able to speak. For a minute, he simply stood there quietly before moving over to place his hand on top of Reyes' head lightly. "I know...," he told him quietly before he sighed and gently ruffled his hair a little. "...But like Nero said, it's best to drop it. ...Things will only get worse if any of us go sticking our noses into it. Ishta's the one in charge of these guys, she has to be the one to punish them for stepping out of line," he explained calmly. For once, Kanone seemed to be taking life seriously, at least for the time being. "It isn't fair, but things like this happen everywhere. Hell, if I'd somehow wound up in jail in Medini I doubt I'd come out of it looking any better. I'd say most of them wouldn't care that I'm the nicest guy ever, I'm just another wind dragon to them. The same can be said for some of my people as far as Earth dragons go. Hell, ask Celestine, he couldn't stand them until he was stuck around LaRae for a while...." He pulled his hand back and sighed softly as he crossed his arms over his chest. "...Not saying I wouldn't mind watching whoever did this get his face punched in, but...," he simply trailed off and shook his head a little before looking back over to Nero again. "...So how did you manage talking your way back up here?" he asked curiously before he edged around Reyes to sit down on the kid's other side. He absently put his arm around his shoulders again lightly and rubbed his arm, the way he'd found himself doing several times tonight since they had come back up here when he had seemed particularly upset. He had been trying his best to be the voice of reason all night, and now that Nero was back wasn't really much different to him. As goofy as he acted most of the time, Kanone did know when he needed to man up and start acting like a responsible adult, even if those moments were few and far between.

Nero didn’t particularly want to deal with Reyes being in a crappy mood about this, but he would if he had to. He was just glad that Reyes usually listened to what he said to him. He had his back to Reyes but he knew the mood he was in relatively well… or at least the body language that usually came with his foul mood. He was probably sitting cross-legged with his arms crossed over his chest and his nose partly in the air while glaring off at the wall. He remained silent while Kanone took to trying to calm Reyes down. It was kind of nice to not have to do it himself for once, especially since he was worn out. He stared down at his boots for while, while listening to Kanone and didn’t bother lifting his head again until he posed a question at him. “I didn’t, at least not really.” He responded firstly. “Selenity and Ishta did all the talking after they found the guard beating the crap out of me.” He answered nonchalantly. “After that I didn’t really have to say a damn thing. They took care of the rest.” He added and then started to lean down to untie his boots. He grimaced at bending his abdomen the way he had to in order to reach his boots but kept quiet while he untied the boots quickly and then started to ease back upright.

Reyes was slowly beginning to get tired of listening to Kanone, especially since he started talking again and didn’t sound like he completely felt the same way he did. He knew that it would cause trouble to go and hunt down the guard who beat up Nero, but he didn’t really care. Then again… maybe that was his pride as a dark dragon creeping up on him and trying to take control. He didn’t particularly care for Kanone’s example using himself and the earth clan. He cared about what happened to Nero, not the fact that stuff like this happened everywhere. It shouldn’t have happened at all, not in this territory even if the dark and light clans were enemies. The light clan boasted so much about their superiority [for lack of a better word to call it] when it came to how they treated other clans and yet something like this happened. He was at the very least very tempted to take his frustrations out on Kanone instead… at least until he said that he wouldn’t mind watching whoever had done this get their face punched in. That alone kind of shaved a nicely side chunk of frustration off of him. It didn’t change the fact that he wanted to hunt the bastard down and let Shen eat him… but it helped. He relaxed a little once again after Kanone had sat down and started rubbing his arm and kept quiet while he listened to Nero answer Kanone’s question.

Kanone could tell that Reyes was not very thrilled about his comparisons, but it was still the truth. The dark clam made it extremely difficult for any of the other clans to like them, but even still they rivaled the light clan more than anyone. It was commonplace for things like this to happen when clans really opposed one another. His people would take a Dark dragon over an Earth dragon any day, for the most part. It wasn't right, and it wasn't fair, but the general light dragon had little to no cares for someone like Nero, or even Reyes for that matter. Not everyone was like Selenity. He sighed softly in relief when he felt Reyes relaxing a little while he rubbed his arm, though his eyes were trained on Nero for now. He half smiled when Nero said that Selenity and Ishta had found the guard beating the crap out of him. "Cause in the act, huh?" he commented quietly. "Ha...I can just imagine her face...," he commented quietly. He was silent for a moment, turning his gaze up toward the ceiling almost as if he were daydreaming. "Yeah...yeah she was pissed." He glanced back to Reyes again and laughed just a little. "...You remember what she did to that little brat that thought it'd be funny to dump paint on Nero? Imagine that only a hundred times worse, and I'd say that's what that guy is going to have to deal with by the time those two are done with him." He glanced back over to Nero for a few moments when he noticed him having a little trouble untying his boots. His ears laid back again for a moment before he sighed softly and went back to rubbing Reyes' arm lightly. "...Too bad everyone can't be like her," he commented offhandedly. "...then again, that could be scary," he added as an after thought. Selenity could be pretty damn scary sometimes.

Celestine had been waiting down in his room for something to happen, although after a while, he was growing tired of sitting in the room with the animals. He had gone down to the washroom long enough to wash all of the paint from his face, and he had taken down his hair, but he could not for the life of him figure out how to get out of this contraption that he had been stuffed into. He had tried several times to get undressed, but he could not reach the laces in the back to undo them, nor could he quite figure out how to undo the dress itself. After a while, he finally grabbed his bag and made his way down to Kanone's room. He had long since removed the heels that he was wearing, so the dress practically his his feet from view, or would have if the bottom were not so translucent. Once he reached the door, he knocked on it lightly and then stood quietly while he waited for Kanone to acknowledge him.

Nero didn’t really have anything to say while Kanone was commenting and trying to explain the wrath of Selenity to Reyes. He knew fairly well the guard was going to have a hard time with Ishta, let alone Selenity. If Selenity weren’t so busy being worried about Ellior possibly dying she may have taken to disciplining the guard herself. Or at least he thought she might. “She was pissed, then she was a crying mess and eventually she wound up getting her head out of her ass.” He commented. “She should be trying to figure out some way to help Ellior.” He said as he lifted his feet out of his boots one at a time and then pushed them off to the side, closer to the side table.

Reyes was at the very least happy to hear that Selenity and Ishta had caught the guard in the act. It still didn’t quell the fact that he wanted to go beat the hell out of the guard himself… but it did help. He remembered Selenity and the way she was with the kid who dumped paint on Nero, even without Kanone bringing it up. To be perfectly honest… he was really kind of glad that she had seen it happening. At least that way it kind of felt like Nero’d be avenged. Kind of. He was still a little upset but the longer he sat there with Kanone next to him and listening to the two of them and hearing the fact that Nero didn’t seem too upset himself, made him feel a little better. He still wouldn’t have minded kicking that guards ass… but so long as Nero was going to be alright… maybe it was okay. Maybe.

Nero heard the knock at the door, faintly but didn’t bother to make a move to get up. He wasn’t expecting anyone and he supposed it could probably just be a guard letting them know one was there. Which… reminded him… he hadn’t told them about that yet. “Oh yeah…” He started quietly. “Ishta is going to keep a guard posted outside for awhile.” He said quietly. “Guards that she trusts... she assured me.” He added lastly while he stared towards the door. He still didn’t bother to make a move to get up and see who was there. He suspected it was a guard but wasn’t positive and wasn’t going to bother moving to check.

Kanone glanced over to Nero briefly when he told him that Selenity was pissed, then she was a crying mess. He smiled a little and then chuckled quietly. "...Well, she likes you. I would say it was probably upsetting," he remarked simply. He blinked when Nero said that she should be looking for some way to help Ellior. "Oh yeah.... Have you heard how he's doing?" he asked quietly, concern once again in his voice. Nero didn't really have time to answer that question before there was a knock at the door. He blinked and turned his head to look at the door, although he didn't bother to get up right away, mainly because Nero had started talking. He sighed when Nero informed him that there was going to be a guard posted outside for a little while. "Hmm...that's...comforting," he replied in a not so very convinced tone when Nero told him that Ishta intended to keep a guard whom she trusted outside the door. Finally, he got to his feet and started to make his way over to the door, since he did not want Nero getting up again, not that Nero appeared to even be offering to do so. As soon as he pulled the door open, he blinked in mild surprised. "...Cel?" he questioned, sounding a little confused. He stared down at his cousin and then looked down at the dress that he was still wearing. "...Taking a liking to women's clothing?" he teased as he stepped back to let him in.

Celestine looked up at Kanone for a moment when he opened the door, although his eyes narrowed as soon as Kanone made his little joke. He hauled loose and punched Kanone hard in the arm. "Shut up and get me out of his godforsaken thing!" He stepped into the room, an air of irritability already resonating from him, although it seemed to dissipate entirely when he turned his head and saw Nero and Reyes sitting on the nearest bed. He seemed the most surprised to see Nero there, although his gaze softened when he saw the shape that Nero was in. "...Sorry," he said quietly after a moment. "...I didn't know there was anyone else in here." He started to back-step toward the door again, sure that Nero would rather not have him in there to bother him.
Kanone winced when Celestine punched him in the arm and simply raised his hand to rub his shoulder before watching Celestine proceed into the room. He sighed quietly when Celestine finally noticed Nero and then seemed intent on retreating from the room. "...Oh come on," he said simply as he reached down to grasp Celestine's wrist. He closed the door and then pulled Celestine over to the large changing screen that took up one corner of the room before hauling him behind it.
"Ah! W-wait a minute!" he gasped, struggling a little. "T-there's a girl in here, you idiot!"

"Huh?" For a moment, Kanone didn't seem to have a clue what Celestine was talking about, but then he remembered that he was the only one that Nero had told about that little secret...and even Reyes did not know that he knew. "Haha...oh yeah....," he muttered before he glanced back. "...There's a screen here for a reason you know," he said simply as he pushed Celestine further out of sight. "Cover your eyes, Reyes," he called, half playfully. From the bed, neither of them was visible behind the deep purple folding screen. He turned Celestine around, almost forcibly and started to unfasten the back of the dress he was trapped in. It was obvious that Celestine had made a few attempts at doing this himself since some of the fastenings were undone and others were knocked askew, but there were still some that appeared to be giving him trouble. As soon as he had unfastened the dress, it fell around Celestine's ankles, seeing as he had already long since removed the bangles from his arms. He sighed when he saw the corset beneath the dress that had been laced up as tightly as it would go. "...As scrawny as you are, why did they even bother with this crap?" he muttered as he took to trying to undo the strings from his back. Once he had managed to free Celestine from all of his bindings, he backed off and slipped out from behind the screen so that Celestine could finish getting undressed and put his own clothes back on. He made his way back over to the bed and took up his seat next to Reyes again, rather than continue standing there where he was no longer needed.

Nero refrained from answering Kanone’s question about Ellior right away. He intended to wait until Kanone had finished checking the door. He hadn’t had a word to say about Kanone’s comments on the guard being posted at the door. He trusted Ishta fairly well at the present moment and for the most part trusted her judgment. He would only start to be worry or show concern if the guards started acting up. He watched silently as Kanone went to the door and raised a brow slightly after Celestine had started into the room. He was vaguely surprised to see Celestine still in his dress but it didn’t really matter what he was wearing to him. He wasn’t overly thrilled with the idea of more company but he also knew that of everyone who was in the room right this second… Celestine was the quietest. He continued to watch Celestine long enough to see him try to leave but get pulled to the changing screen by Kanone. He just kind of waved it off. He really didn’t care and it was obvious the kid needed some help with the dress he was stuck in.

Reyes would have gotten up to check the door if Kanone hadn’t but since he had he continued to sit on the bed. His mood improved a little more at soon seeing Celestine come into the room. He was a little amused that Celestine was still in his dress but it was obvious he needed help out of out, especially once Kanone wound up dragging him behind the screen. He couldn’t help but smirk a little when he heard Kanone tell him to cover his eyes. He playfully obliged, though couldn’t help calling back. “Are you sure you don’t a girl to help remove girl’s clothes?” He chuckled. “Or do you have enough experience with that sort of thing Kanone?” He teased.

Nero shook his head a little sitting there listening to the banter back and forth. He sighed a little heavily but otherwise kept his mouth shut, at least until Kanone appeared to have finished rescuing his cousin from certain embarrassment. He was positive that if Kanone hadn’t been able to free Celestine… Reyes wouldn’t have wasted any time getting up to help. He lifted his eyes slightly and looked at Kanone once he had exited the screen. He didn’t bother following him with his eyes seeing as he was going to sit with Reyes again. “In answer to your previous question…” He started. “There isn’t much to tell as to Ellior’s condition. He’s poisoned and was in so much pain, I imagine, that they put him to sleep.” He paused. “It’s a wait it out kind of thing… which is why Selenity it trying to utilize everything in her grasp to help in some way… of course… that was only after a not so nice kick in the pants.” He said with a slight shake of his head. He really was amazed at how emotional she was being rather than using her brain to do something about it. It was like she let her emotions control everything and her brain took a back seat…

Celestine stood stiffly once Kanone had shoved him where he wanted him and waited, red-faced, for him to finish undressing him. He felt his face flush eve further when when Reyes started teasing about letting a girl help remove girl's clothing. "Stay over there!" he demanded impatiently.

Kanone couldn't help but laugh when Reyes started teasing him about having plenty of experience with removing women's clothes. "What are you talking about? You saw what the girls in me clan wear," he pointed out with a slight laugh. "There's not much to remove." As soon as he had finished with Celestine and moved back to the bed, he turned his attention over to Nero since he had started to answer his question. "Hmm...I see," he muttered quietly. "...Well, I hope he's alright...," he added quietly. He tilted his head a little when Nero pointed out that Selenity was utilizing everything that she could right now as a means of help Ellior somehow. "...Well...at least she's trying," he said simply. "...I don't know very much about poisons myself. I'm not poisonous," he pointed out simply. There were some dragons in his clan who were venomous...but he was not among them. Even then, that didn't really mean that they knew anything about them other than how to inject it.

Celestine did not waste much time changing clothes, although he was listening to what was being said from behind the screen. Once he was back in his usual long, white shirt and matching pants, he started to make his way out from behind the screen, although he was still int he process of tying his sash around his waist as he moved. He looked at Nero for a few moments and then sighed softly. "...Hopefully she can find something...but at this point I would not hold my breath," he said simply.
Kanone let out a heavy sigh as soon as Celestine was finished speaking. "You're always such a pessimist...," he said dryly.
"...It's not being pessimistic. It's being realistic. As quickly as that poison set in, he was either given something extremely toxic or he was given more than enough to kill him in one dose. If they haven't given him a decent antidote by now, his chances are slim. There may not even be an antidote.... Some things cannot be undone." He glanced back over to Nero for a few moments and then started to make his way over to the bed. He was quiet for a few moments as he looked over Nero's injuries, although he did not offer to touch him at all. "...Are you going to be alright?" he asked finally.

Kanone sighed again when Celestine pointed out what Ellior's odds were right about now and shook his head a little. "...Still...," he muttered under his breath, although he let it go. He knew that Celestine was probably right, he just didn't really want to hear it said. He blinked when Celestine finally asked Nero if he was going to be alright and then looked over to him again. "Oh yeah, Cel can took at those for you," he said, clearly just now remembering that Celestine had at least some training in the healing arts.

Nero ignored the minor squabbles between the rest of the inhabitants of the room. He didn’t bother speaking up again until after Kanone had responded to him on the topic of Ellior. “Being poisonous doesn’t make you all knowing.” He commented offhandedly. He was silent while Celestine and Kanone had their minor disagreement and then shook his head slightly. “Celestine is right Kanone.” He stated. “Unless he can manage to survive through the night as it stands, chances are he will die. Ishta said as much herself.” He didn’t exactly want to see the worst possible outcome for Ellior… but he knew better than to hold out too much hope. Someone had wanted him dead and they may very well get their wish, especially if no one could figure out a way to combat it. He had for the most part ignored the fact that Celestine had been inspecting his injuries from a distance along with the fact that he had moved closer to the bed. He did focus on him slightly once he had spoken and asked if he was going to be alright. “Of course.” He responded without really missing a beat. He was aching and in pain when he moved certain ways but it wasn’t anything that wouldn’t heal on its own with time. He hadn’t particularly remembered himself that Celestine could do some healing magic and he hadn’t really thought any different about Celestine’s question, at least not until Kanone spoke up and said that Celestine could look at his injuries for him. He sighed heavily. “No.” He stated firstly. “I already declined light clan healers; I don’t need anyone healing me.” He told them. “I will heal just fine on my own, without help.”

Kanone half smiled when Nero said that being poisonous didn't make you all knowing. "...Could have fooled me," he responded simply. Celestine seemed to know a lot about poisons. He sighed softly and let his ears lay back a bit when Nero pointed out that Celestine was right about what he was saying. "...I know he is right...," he replied quietly before looking away.

Celestine sighed softly when Nero pointed out that he was right, but he did not say anything more on the matter. It wasn't a very pretty topic, and it was not one that he wished to harp on. He focused his attention on Nero once he had replied that he was going to be alright. He hadn't planned to say anything else on the matter, at least until Kanone pointed out that he could look at Nero's wounds. Again, he remained silent until after Nero had declined being healed. "Suit yourself," he responded simply, clearly not interested in trying to convince him otherwise. He could see by looking that the wounds were not terribly serious. They would hurt for a while, but they would heal just fine on their own.
Kanone sighed heavily when Nero said that he didn't need to be healed and then Celestine seemed to comply so easily. "Why not?," he complained.
"Say that when it's your own energy you're trying to waste," Celestine responded simply. "His injuries are not life threatening. If he's content with waiting it out, there's really no point in bothering him. Some people just like to be left alone...not that you've ever seemed to figure that out...," he added flatly.

Kanone winced a little when Celestine bit back after his comment and then looked over at him for a moment. He sighed again heavily and then just looked away quietly without bothering to say anything else. He knew that Nero's injuries weren't life threatening, but he still hated to think of him laying around beaten, sore, and bruised when there were so many people around who could help him. If he had the ability to use his magic to heal, then he would have offered to do it himself, but healing magic was not something that he personally possessed. He glanced back to Celestine when he noticed him going back to gather up his things, apparently intent on leaving them. "...Hey, have you got your pipe with you?" he asked curiously.
"It's in the bag with everything else," Celestine answered simply.
"...Would you mind playing for us?"
Celestine sighed heavily as he straightened up and looked over to Kanone again. "...I don't think anyone is interested," he said flatly.
"Well, I am. It's been a stressful night, and it's really relaxing. I bet Reyes wouldn't mind hearing it either."
Once again Celestine sighed quietly. He knew what Kanone wanted him to do...and he knew that if he did it Nero wasn't going to be very happy. "...Only if Nero doesn't care," he replied simply, "otherwise, no."

Reyes knew better than to try and persuade Nero into accepting help as far as the healing went. Nero was stubborn… and when he got hurt he didn’t immediately run to the nearest healer and ask to be healed. He was just fine sporting his wounds and injuries until they healed naturally. The only time he ever remembered that Nero would go out of his way to seek out extra assistance was when and if something was broken or life threatening. But then again… that much could be obvious just from looking at his bare back. He still held ever scar from when he’d been beaten in their own clan and never bothered to get those looked after. But then… those were kind of a ‘in memory’ type thing, he imagined. He wound up a little transfixed on Nero’s back seeing as it was available to stare at for once and just seemed to get a little lost in thought, at least until he heard his name. He lifted his head slightly and glanced at Kanone momentarily, looking just a tad embarrassed at having not been paying attention… although even with that he still agreed… to whatever Kanone had been talking about. “Of course.” He just hoped that he hadn’t agreed to something that would get him in trouble…

Nero was completely fine with just leaving his injuries the way that they were. It wasn’t like they wouldn’t be healed up for the most part in a few days. It wasn’t like they were rushing out anywhere to do anything important either, so there really was no point in someone wasting their time and energy on him when it was unnecessary. He had known that Celestine wouldn’t argue with him on the matter so he expected it to be dropped right then and there after Celestine had responded to him. Then again… Kanone wasn’t quite as understanding as Celestine was and he was peskier. He let out a heavy sigh when Kanone opened his mouth and complained and Celestine had to go explaining it to him… not that would do any good. In some ways Kanone was like Selenity… they both gave too much of a damn about his wellbeing, especially when he didn’t seem the slightest bit concerned about it himself. He was half prepared to jump in and squelch any and all hopes Kanone had for Celestine healing him, until he seemed to shut up about the topic. He couldn’t help but groan in a small fit of exasperation when Kanone started bringing up Celestine’s musical talents. He was tired… he wanted everyone to shut up, get off his bed and let him rest… He couldn’t resist the urge to turn his head enough to look at Kanone out of the corner of his eye and just glare at him. Flat out death glare. Eventually he wound up rolling his eyes and turning his head away once Reyes started agreeing on the topic of Celestine playing hi s flute. He hated how this was turning out… especially since it was being left up to him. He looked over at Celestine with narrowed eyes, although his annoyance wasn’t directed him exactly. He knew this was all Kanone’s fault… he just wished that Celestine would have declined Kanone all together and saved him the hassle of having to piss people off even more. “…My head still hurts from the ridiculously bright lights had I had to endure in the cell.” He started. “So if it can be helped I’d rather not be subjected to any more racket than your voices.” Listening to them talk was one thing… listening to pitch changes in a flute was another… “If you must listen to it, go to another room or something…”

Celestine stood quiet while he waited for Nero to make up his mind. He could see that Reyes really wasn't paying the least bit of attention to what was going on, and probably had no idea at all what she was agreeing to. As soon as Nero told them that he had a headache, he shook his head just a little. He already knew that he wasn't going to want to listen to his pipe at that rate. The thing wasn't very loud, but it was high pitched and wasn't something most wanted to listen to when their head was hurting them. "...That would defeat the purpose," he replied quietly once Nero had said for them to go to another room to listen if they must. "...He wanted you to listen."

Kanone groaned when Nero said that he had a headache. He, too, knew that listening to a pipe wasn't the best thing for that, but he wasn't quite ready to give up. "Oh come on...," he tried again quietly. "He can sing too," he tried with a bit of a grin.
"Like hell...," Celestine responded flatly.
"What? You're good at it," Kanone pointed out simply. "But, he's right...I want to hear it, but I really think it would help a little. He could probably put you to sleep, honestly."
"I really don't think he needs me singing to him for that...," Celestine muttered, his face already a few shades of red. "...But I think you've known him long enough to know that he is not going to take no for an answer."

Nero rolled his eyes and shook his head very slightly when Kanone didn’t appear to be giving up. He had for the most part ignored that Celestine had said that Kanone wanted him to hear the flute. He’d heard it before, unintentionally, but he’d heard it… so he didn’t see what the big deal was. He let out a heavy sigh as the two of the continued back and forth. Kanone was being a pain in the ass, even more so than normal… or perhaps it was just that his patience was somewhat nonexistence at the moment. He knew that Celestine was right… Kanone wasn’t going to take no for an answer… well, unless it was beaten into him and frankly he didn’t feel like fighting him that much on it. He was tired and sick of listening to the two of them go back and forth on the subject. He put up his hand and waved it a little in a what-ever motion. “Fine, whatever, just shut up… all of you.” He said. “And get the hell off my bed… three’s a crowd.” He was more than ready to lie down but he couldn’t very well do that comfortably with Reyes and Kanone in his bed. As soon as it was clear he planned to lay down and cover his head with a pillow or something. He didn’t really want to listen to the damn flute but if he had to he was at least going to try and drown some of the pitch out with a pillow.

Reyes wasn’t quite seeing why Kanone was pushing the flute so badly. Sure, he wanted to hear Celestine play but if it was going to bother Nero… well, he’d rather wait. He was surprised that Kanone just kept pushing and then eventually Nero just gave in. Obviously he was too tired to argue with Kanone. He just kind of stared at Nero for a moment when he told him and Kanone to get off of his bed and then started to shift so that he could get up. He hadn’t even thought about the fact that he and Kanone were taking up space on the bed… but they were. He planned to move to the other bed with or without Kanone. He knew better than to stay on the bed when Nero had told them to move. If you didn’t move on your own Nero would move you himself… the fastest way he saw fit.

Celestine sighed softly when Nero finally gave in and told them to do whatever...just shut up. Honestly, he was half hoping that Nero would put his foot down and just tell him to get the hell out. At least that way if he left, Kanone couldn't throw a fit at him about it. As soon as Nero told the others to get off of the bed, he backed up a little to give them more room to get around him before he set his things down again and started to shift through his bag. He did not mind playing for them...but he wasn't about to sing, even if that would have been easier on Nero's ears.

Kanone edged away from Nero briefly when he noticed the angry glare that he was receiving, but he did not back down only smiled at him just a little. Once he had finally given them the go-ahead he grinned and then glanced over to Reyes briefly, at least until Nero told them to get off of the bed. He blinked and then glanced down, as if just now remembering that he was sitting there. "Haha...sorry," he replied simply before he stood up and started to make his way back to his own bed. As soon as he reached the bed, he sat down on the edge and pulled up his feet to sit cross-legged, though he turned his full attention to Celestine.

Celestine sighed heavily once he had gotten his pipe out and everyone had gotten situated. "...I will try not to be too loud," he promised Nero quietly. He had already chosen a melody which was soft, slow, and deemed it necessary to use only the lower octaves of the pipe. He took in a deep breath and then let it out slowly before raising the pipe to his lips. He took in another deep breath and then began to play slowly, keeping his eyes closed. It was a bit easier for him to play when he could pretend that he was alone and that there was no one listening to him...or staring at him. Once he began, however, he did not seem to have very much trouble. He had been playing for so long that his fingers moved gracefully and expertly over the holes, making for a smooth and enchanting sound. The music almost seemed to fade in when he started to play, and as promised he tried to keep the volume as low as he could without causing the sound to suffer. If he was going to play, he wanted it to be something worth listening to, so he put everything that he had into the gentle melody. As much as he was willing to leave Nero well alone, he did want to help him if he could, although he doubted that this was the best way to go about it.

The music in and of itself was relaxing, as Kanone had said. Even Celestine himself relaxed a bit while he played. However, as the song progressed, he finally started to channel more than just music through the air. Gradually, his hair began to blow about his face, as if it had been caught in a gentle breeze, and slowly the air in the room filled with a tender, calming breeze. While all wind dragons were capable of manipulating the winds, many of them only knew how to use that power for fighting. Those who learned how to heal usually learned to do so using a very hands-on approach. However, there were some who, if they knew how to channel their power just right, who could use sound to transmit their power over a distance. Celestine had learned this method long ago, although it was not exactly as well polished as it could have been. For anyone nearby who could hear his song, they would likely feel a sense of calm overtake them, the sort which often came with the feeling of being wrapped up in someone's embrace. However, for those who were closer to him, such as Nero, the effects were much stronger. Gradually, the lacerations on Nero's face and wrists would start to null and slowly begin to heal, although it may not have been terribly obvious unless one was actually paying attention to what was happening. Celestine was not skilled enough to make Nero one hundred percent better, although it was not for lack of trying. Wind dragon's healing magic simply was not as strong as that of a light dragon, no matter how hard they tried. Even still, by the time he was finished playing, Nero would likely notice a considerably decrease in the amount of pain that he felt whenever he moved, and the lacerations would be all but gone.

Nero for the most part started ignoring people once Reyes and Kanone got off of his bed and he was able to start trying to lie down. He had pretty much reserved himself to the point that he couldn’t do anything about Celestine playing his pipe, flute, whatever. He was just going to lie down and try to relax and hope the rest of the room stayed quiet once this damned performance was done and over with. He kept to himself while he finally got around to stretching out on the bed. He hadn’t bothered to cover up or anything he just set his back to the bed and laid down on top of the covers, partially because it was too much work to try and get into the bed when he could just as comfortably lie on top of it. It had caused him some pain to actually move enough to get situated on the bed but once he was lying down the pain subsided some and just kind of felt like a dull hum that wouldn’t go away. Easily enough to ignore, mind you… so long as he didn’t move again. He remained quiet even once Celestine finally got himself situated and started to play his music. The longer he laid there and had to listen to Celestine play the more relaxed he was becoming. Of course he wasn’t overtly paying attention to that and questioning every little thing. He just vaguely noticed that he had relaxed considerably and that he was starting to feel tired, which he had been feeling that way to begin with. It was just more predominant while listening to Celestine play. He became almost transfixed on the feeling of relaxation that had washed over him along with the nearly overwhelming need to sleep, so much so that he was pretty much oblivious to the fact that there was a lot more going on than just Celestine playing his pipe. Once he was able to gather all his senses again and feel more himself and less in a mild state of daze… he would likely notice that Celestine had been healing him on top of playing his pipe, but for now… he didn’t notice.

Reyes had been rather excited about getting to listen to Celestine play his pipe, even if he knew that Nero was against it… even if he had said to do whatever. He couldn’t resist being excited… it was kind of neat to get to hear him play a musical instrument. Of course he wouldn’t have minded Celestine doing a lot of things… but this was just going to be neat… Celestine had a talent and well… that was neat. He had of course moved to sit on Kanone’s bed since Nero had demanded that they move and he sat there happily while he waited for Celestine to start playing. He was so focused on what Celestine was going to do that he wasn’t really paying attention to anyone else in the room, even Kanone who had joined him on the bed. He continued to watch Celestine as he played with that same excited look on his face… at least for a short while. Eventually the effects of the music started to overwhelm his already overwhelming excitement and the adrenaline that he was running on started to ebb. Once the adrenaline started leaving he was finding himself more and more relaxed and frankly… tired. He had been nonstop running on a high just from the mess with Nero and Ellior and he had been so wound up with tension and anger that he hadn’t felt how tired he actually was until now, when all that was keeping him awake was melting away. The longer the song went on the more tired he began to feel until he eventually just couldn’t hold out any longer and collapsed against Kanone, fast asleep.

Celestine did not bother to open his eyes or pay any mind to what anyone else in the room was doing. She piece that he had chosen was generally short, although he extended it considerably by looping certain sections. Once he started to feel the effects of what he was doing, however, he gradually reeled in the power he was using and then brought the music to a steady close. The air settled to become still again as the music died away and he sighed softly as he lowered the pipe away from his lips. Finally, he opened his eyes and looked around the room briefly. It did not take him long to realize that Reyes had fallen asleep against Kanone...and from the look of it, Kanone himself had fallen sleep sitting upright. He shook his head a little and then turned his gaze back to Nero. He wasn't sure whether or not Nero was awake or asleep, but either way he looked much more peaceful than he had previously. "...Goodnight," he said quietly, in all but a whisper before he started to gather up his things once again. He wasn't going to stay in here any longer than he needed to. After all of that, he was a little tired himself, and wanted to go to bed. Unfortunately, it seemed that he was not going to get very far on that venture. He had just started to make his way toward the door when he heard a series of sharp, excited taps on the door. He cringed a little, annoyed that all of his work putting Nero more or less to sleep was probably about to be ruined. He didn't even make it to the door before it opened and he found himself staring into Selenity's face.

Selenity had done as Nero had suggested and gone to the library to research whatever she could find on the poison. She had started trying to skim through and narrow down some of the poisons that could have been used, although before she had even finished gathering all of those books from the shelves she found one that caught her eye. She remembered their encounter with the Hydra, which in theory possessed the most toxic venom in all of Arienh. She knew very little about Hydras, other than their toxicity that the fact that they were practically extinct now, if not entirely. Her clan had always studied and recorded anything and everything that they could about the world, and the Hydra's had been no different. It was the miniscule knowledge that she had and the memory of the events in Caledonia that led her to pull down the records that they had on the Hydra. She had not even needed to read for very long before she found what she needed and hurried up to the second floor with the book in hand. She had tried Celestine's room, only to find that he was no there. Her next guess was that he had gone to see his cousin, whom she knew was sharing a room with Nero. She knew that Nero had made it back upstairs by now, although she did not expect that he was anywhere near ready to sleep. When she reached the door she knocked quickly, anxious for someone to answer. However, when no one did, she just reached over to open the door herself. "Excuse me," she called into the room quickly, not quite realizing right away that practically everyone was asleep. She blinked when she saw Celestine standing there staring at her. "Cel--," she began, although she did not make it very far.

Kanone had indeed dozed off sitting up while listening to Celestine's music, although he was still only in a very light sleep. As soon as the knock sounded on the door he started to rouse, although when the door opened as quickly as it did, he startled violently, which sent him toppling face-first off of the edge of the bed. He landed in a heap on the floor and let out a yelp of surprise as he crashed to the carpeted floor. "Ow ow ow ow ow!" He complained as he rolled himself over, or tried. Considering where Reyes had been resting, he probably took him down right along with him.

Nero hadn’t quite fallen asleep; however it wouldn’t have taken very much for him to. He was certainly tired enough to sleep, he just hadn’t quite made it that far. If left alone with the quiet it probably would have been a matter of minutes before he was out like a light. Unfortunately the prospect of sleep was shattered in an instant, not by Celestine but rather the obnoxious knocks at the door. Given the tone of the knocks and the fact of which people were in this room he knew without the door even opening who it was. No one else in this damn palace would so excitedly knock on a door housing dark dragons, especially him. He groaned to himself in annoyance once all the noise came to a head… ending with Kanone and Reyes on the floor and Selenity and Celestine by the door. His first instinct was to be angry and yell at them to all get the hell out of the room and let him rest but he didn’t budge, not even a twitch of the lips. He was still tired but he was more awake now than he had been… he was annoyed and a little aggravated but he was still somewhat relaxed. It was like the previous state of relaxation didn’t want to give up residence to his more foul moods and had just latched on for dear life. Even though he hadn’t said a word he still propped himself up a little and glared over at Selenity. Of course she couldn’t have known that he was so close to sleep… but she should’ve known that he wanted to rest… and resting didn’t entail sharp, excited knocks on a door and just barging in because no responded.

Reyes was so far gone as far as sleep went that he didn’t stir very much even with the knocks on the door. In fact, he probably would have slept through the disturbance just fine if not for the fact that he had fallen asleep pretty much on Kanone. He had no intention of going down with Kanone when he fell off the bed but he hadn’t been able to control anything. He hadn’t been awake to notice what was happening and didn’t even start to wake up until after Kanone had hit the floor and taken him with him. Of course he had no control over anything so he just kind of toppled over right on top of Kanone, unintentionally. Between the motion of falling off the bed and the complaints from Kanone after hitting the floor, he was very much awake… or at least in the processes of being more aware. It took him a few moments to even realize that the thing that had broken his fall was Kanone but as soon as it he realized he was on top of him and hindering him from moving very well he startled a little and immediately took to scurrying off of him and sitting on the floor off to the side, giving him the room he needed to get up. He was a little disoriented so he hadn’t said a word even while he was sitting on the floor; he just sat there and carefully rubbed his eyes a little with a small yawn. He hadn’t been asleep for very long but he had been so very tired that he felt utterly drained at the present moment.

Selenity froze in mid-motion when she realized that she had caused a bit of a commotion. Her mouth was still hanging open from her initial intent to call for Celestine, but she had long since stopped making any nose. After a moment her cheeks flushed a bit red and she released the door handle before bowing a little. "I'm so sorry," she apologized quickly before raising her head to look at Nero. She really did look apologetic, but there was still a sort of electric thrill in her eyes. "I found something," she told him quickly, assuming that he would at least want to know, since he had been inquiring about Ellior's health earlier. She did know that Nero wanted to rest, but she hadn't thought that she would be causing this much trouble. "Sorry, Nero, I was looking for Celestine," she explained quietly.

Celestine glanced over his shoulder briefly when he heard the the two on the bed come crashing to the floor and then sighed heavily before looking back to Selenity with a rather annoyed stare. "...What do you want?" he asked finally, keeping his voice low and quiet and hoping that Selenity would get the hint.

Kanone groaned once he felt Reyes crawl off of him and then started to push himself upright slowly. "Oww...I think I got a knee in my elbow.... I mean an elbow in my ear or.....oh whatever, my freaking back!" he whined, obviously not quite awake enough to formulate a coherent sentence.

Selenity looked over to Kanone briefly, but her attention rather quickly shifted to Celestine. "I think I might have found an antidote for Ellior," she explained quickly while holding out the rather old book. Of course, she was the only one in the room who could probably read what it said, but she brought it with her nonetheless.

"...What does that have to do with me?"

"You remember the hydra that bit you in Caledona?"
"How could I forget?" he asked, rolling his eyes a little. "It nearly killed me"
"Exactly! Hydras are said to be the most poisonous creatures known to Arienh. One bite from them can kill in a matter of minutes."
"...Yeah, I know," he responded as if this should have been obvious. After all, it was somewhat common knowledge to anyone who knew what a hydra was.

"My point is, you survived a bite...and not a mild one, either. She held on long enough to have injected you with well over a lethal dose, and you still managed to survive. According to this, Hydras were immune to their own venom. The immunity ran in their blood."
"...What does this have to do with Ellior? He wasn't poisoned by hydra venom. If he was he would have been dead before anyone found him."
"I know, but that's not what I was getting at. Hydras are immune to poison. They were hunted into near extinction, not only because they were so deadly, but because their blood is like a panacea for all poisons."

Celestine blinked, clearly just a little surprised. He may have been part hydra himself, but he had never really met a full blooded one, nor did he know much about them other than the fact that they were deadly. Then again, now that he thought of it, he had touched poisonous plants and come out completely unscathed by them. "...So what do you want to do, go back and get some of her blood? It's been more than a week, it has to be dried out by now. I don't think that's going to work, besides..."
"We wouldn't have time for that anyway," she finished for him. "No, I meant we could try yours."
"Huh!?" he asked, obviously taken aback by the suggestion. "Mine?"
"You have hydra blood!" she reminded him.
"I'm not even half," he pointed out, "and I don't think that sort of thing applies to me."
"You survived a bite from the most poisonous creature known to anyone. Granted, it was a close call, but you still survived. The only thing that has ever been recorded to survive a bite from a hydra is another hydra, or something with a hydra's blood. It may not be pure, but it was enough to keep you alive." She sighed quietly, realizing that Celestine was not at all sold on this idea. "...It's the only thing that I can think of. We still do not know exactly what kind of poison was used, so finding the right antidote is nothing more than a shot in the dark."

Celestine started to protest, although before he even spoke he closed his mouth again and took a step backwards, his ears laying back a little. He stood there for a moment without saying a word before glancing over his shoulder towards Nero. Nero was the only other sensible person in the room, so his first instinct was to look to him. It was evident by looking at his face that he did not really like this idea and had no idea what he should do.

Nero didn’t particularly care what brought Selenity to his room and that probably showed on his face when she was trying to explain. He was concerned about Ellior… but unless he was dead he would have rather been left alone. Then again… even if he had died he would’ve rather been told in the morning after he got a nights rest. He’d been beaten up and abused by light for God’s sake… couldn’t he have some time to rest? He rolled his eyes slightly once Celestine and Selenity started getting into their little conversation. He was listening but not at the same time. He started to lower himself back down onto the bed, realizing as he did so that he wasn’t feeling quite as much pain as he had just a few minutes ago when he originally laid down. He didn’t say anything of course he just laid there silently inspecting his mobility and taking a mental note of what exactly still hurt and to what degree. He noticed almost right away that his wrists didn’t hurt as badly as they had originally… and they had been pretty badly cut up from the wire. He continued to remain silent as he was thinking about everything and was slowly putting two and two together, partially because he didn’t want to believe that Celestine’s pipe playing had something to do with it… but he had no other action to account it to between the time that he laid down and now. There had only been that song… and of course he was feeling silly when he remembered that Celestine had said that Kanone had wanted him to hear it. He didn’t make any moves after realizing all of this he just let out a heavy sigh and shut his eyes.

Reyes glanced tiredly over at Kanone when he finally started to speak after pushing himself upright slowly. He didn’t follow a damn thing that Kanone said and just kind of stared at him like he had been speaking in tongues. By the time that Celestine and Selenity had gotten into their conversation he was a little more awake, or at least awake enough to follow key words. It’d been years since he had ever heard the word Hydra so he couldn’t help but pay attention after he was awake enough to comprehend most of what was being said. The longer he listened the more curious he started to become and eventually he drowned out bits and pieces of what the two were saying and looked over at Kanone. “…How did he get bit by a hydra? I thought those were all dead.” He inquired while trying to stave off the remaining drowsy feelings… almost unsuccessfully. He could very easily go back to sleep but his brain wanted to hear more about the hydra and how Celestine got bit by such a thing.

Nero cracked his eyes open briefly when he heard Reyes quietly asking Kanone about how Celestine had been bitten. After a moment he sat up a little and propped himself against the bed. It was obvious that he wasn’t going to be able to rest until everyone shut up and or got out of the room… so for now he was going to just sit up… As for that hydra incident… if he remembered correctly that had all happened while he was stuck babysitting Nanashi… so he had only heard about what happened, hadn’t actually witnessed it. He happened to shift his attention and glance over at the other two idiots in the room just about the time that Selenity was finishing up trying to coax Celestine into helping out. He let his eyes meet Celestine’s briefly once the kid had looked at him for help and then sighed heavily again. His first thought was to tell the kid that after sneakily doing what he did he deserved being stuck between a rock and a hard place… but he didn’t. He was silent for a moment before he actually responded. “It isn’t like they’re going to dissect you and study your remains.” He told him. “If you happen to be able to help keep Ellior alive, what’s a little blood?” If his blood were able to help save Ellior he’d have offered it… but he wasn’t anything special like Celestine was… so his blood wasn’t useful in that way.

Kanone had finally started to listen to what was going on between Celestine and Selenity once he had finally managed to get up and rub most of the pain out of his back. He didn't say a word while he listened, only stared up at Selenity, half wondering where in the hell she found all of these books. His attention was briefly drawn away from the conversation at hand when he heard Reyes ask him a question. He blinked when he asked about the hydra and then sighed quietly. "Not all of them," he replied quietly. "There are still a few...they're just so few and far between that it's rare to see one nowadays." He glanced back to Celestine for a moment before shaking his head a little and turning his attention back to Eyes. "...I wasn't there, so I don't know all of the details...," he told him honestly. "From what I gathered, he was bitten saving Aamori. Aamori got too close to the thing and it tried to swipe at her with one of it's tails. Celestine knocked her out of the way, but before he could move it grabbed him with it's head...or something like that," he explained briefly. He really hadn't gotten all of the details, but he knew generally what had happened. Frankly, that was plenty enough knowledge for him.

Celestine was completely ignoring Kanone and Reyes, although in the back of his mind he half picked up on what they were talking about. Right this moment, however, that was the least of his worries. It did not escape him that the hydra population had practically been destroyed due to their medicinal purposes...so the prospect of allowing someone to use a piece of him was quite unnerving. Even still, he listened to Nero when he told him what he would do, although he did not seem entirely convinced when Nero said that they weren't going to dissect him and study his remains. Obviously...that was part of what he was worried about. He sighed quietly before lowering his eyes down to the carpet, trying to think things over. "...Fine," he responded quietly, with still a hint of reluctance in his voice. "...We can try it...but I don't want this getting out."

Selenity was practically holding her breath and biting her lip while Celestine pondered. If he really did not want to do this, she couldn't force him...but she wished that he would hurry and make up his mind. As soon as he looked at Nero, she, too, turned her eyes in that general direction and looked at him. She hoped that he would at least help her out a little and was glad to hear him give Celestine a verbal shove in her direction. She looked back to Celestine again when he finally agreed and then sighed softly and moved closer to him, wrapping her arms around him gently. "...Do you honestly think we would hurt you?" she asked softly.

Celestine looked up when he felt Selenity's arms go around him, but he didn't move an inch; at least not at first. "...I don't think that you would, no," he responded flatly as he pulled back and raised a hand to push her away. "...That doesn't mean that someone else wouldn't." He sighed again quietly and started to edge around Selenity, making his way toward the door. "...Let's get this over with. I'm tired, and Nero would appreciate it if we all shut the hell up and got out of his room so he can sleep," he said bluntly. "Kanone, take my room tonight."

Kanone blinked when Celestine told him to take his room. "Why?"
"...Because you're obnoxious," he responded flatly. He was fairly certain that Nero didn't want to deal with Kanone being in there all night, nor did he figure that he wanted to deal with Kanone's snoring. He didn't particularly want to share a room with Kanone, either, although...he supposed if need be he could simply take Kanone's bed and share a room with Nero for the night...if Kanone's mammoth snores would not permit him to sleep.

Reyes listened quietly to Kanone when he finally started to explain about how Celestine had come to be bitten by a hydra. It had surprised him to hear that any were still in existence but that hadn’t been the focus of his concern. He had rather quickly developed a strong liking for Celestine and he cared that Celestine had been bitten by such a deadly creature and very clearly almost died from it. If he had died from it he would have never gotten to meet Celestine… and frankly, that annoyed him immensely. He didn’t say a word and refrained from letting it show even the slightest but hearing that it had been Aamori’s fault that Celestine very nearly died… well, it angered him a little. He kept that to himself however and tucked it away for later. It wasn’t an emotion that needed to be shared with the rest of the people in the room. After Kanone had finished speaking to him he wasn’t sure that he really had any other questions… well… other than asking why someone as inadequate as Aamori was even on a mission like theirs. Of course he didn’t utter a word. He just couldn’t fathom someone being so unable to fend for themselves that someone like Celestine had to save their ass. But then again… that was probably dark dragon pride rearing its ugly head. He’d grown up around people like Nero all his life… they were damn near self-sufficient and didn’t need help from anyone. At the same time he knew he shouldn’t hold anyone to the same standards as Nero unless they were a dark dragon. He hadn’t moved from where he wound up sitting on the floor, at least not until it looked like everyone was going to be leaving so that Nero could rest. He started to shift and push himself upright. He didn’t think that Nero needed him in here too and he was supposed to rooming with the girls anyhow… but also, a small part of him wanted to tag along with Selenity and Celestine. That was mostly because Celestine was uncomfortable with what Selenity was asking of him and he wouldn’t mind offering some comfort if need be.

Nero couldn’t help but scoff lightly when he heard Selenity ask Celestine if he honestly thought they would hurt him. “I hadn’t expected them to hurt me and they did anyway.” He commented sardonically. He couldn’t help but still be a little put off by what happened to him. He knew better than to assume all light dragons were like Selenity but she and many others had boasted about how nice the light dragons were. He honestly hadn’t expected a single person to touch him like they did when he was in the cell, especially since he hadn’t actually done anything to warrant it… until he caved and opened his mouth to smart off to the idiot. “Not everyone in this clan is as nice and understanding as you are Selenity.” He commented almost sounding a little remorseful. It wasn’t remorse for anything except a mixture of what had happened to him and the fact that light dragons were asses all the same. “I may have agreed that Celestine should try and help Ellior if he could, but I wouldn’t dare take my eyes off of him if I were you.” He warned. “Just because you won’t hurt him doesn’t mean that there isn’t a light dragon somewhere in this palace that wouldn’t mind having his blood for their ‘greater good’.” He was pretty sure that what he had said might have seemed contradictory of what he had said before, but he was almost one hundred percent positive that no undue harm would come to Celestine… he just wanted to cover all bases, especially after what happened to him. He had honestly thought that he’d be fine… at least until that guard manhandled him past Ishta the first time. He let out a heavy sigh after all was said and done and Celestine had told Kanone to take his room instead. “Right now I don’t give a crap what any of you are doing so long as you shut the hell up and let me rest.” He added lastly.

Selenity looked over to where Nero was sitting when he scoffed and told her that he hadn't expected them to harm him either. Her ears laid back almost immediately before she looked away. What had happened to Nero bothered her immensely, but at this point there really wasn't much that she could do about it, except for what Nero didn't want her to do. She looked back to him again after a moment and blinked when she realized that the gash on his face wasn't...well, almost wasn't there anymore. There was still a mark, but it looked days old rather than hours. She absently moved a little closer to the bed to get a better look, although her eyes went back down to meet Nero's when he told said that not everyone was as nice and understanding as she. "...I am starting to realize that more and more," she replied quietly. "...This is the first time that we have ever had someone from your clan as a guest since I can remember. My people are more bitter than I ever realized." She absently reached over to push Nero's hair back so that she could look at the mark on his face a little better. "...I suppose I take after my mother," she added absently. "She would have liked you. My grandmother does....but...I'm afraid my father is a different story." She pulled her hand back and tilted head a little, clearly a little baffled as to what happened to his face, but she didn't ask. She nodded her head slightly when Nero told her that he wouldn't take his eyes off of Celestine. "I won't," she assured him. "I will stay with him, whether they like it or not." She couldn't help but smile a little when Celestine pointed out that Nero wanted them all to leave. She knew that he was right, especially once Nero added his bit. After that she leaned over to very briefly wrap her arms around his neck. She knew that he probably wasn't too thrilled about the motion, but she was still feeling bad for what had happened, and she didn't really know how to make it up to him. Showing him some genuine affection and care was the only thing that she could think of. "Goodnight," she said quietly as she was pulling away from him. "...I will let you know what happens tomorrow," she assured him quietly before she started to make her way toward the door and placed her hand on Celestine's shoulder lightly when she got there.

Celestine was not in the least made to feel any better by the way Nero suggested that there might be someone here who would want his blood for the 'greater good'. As far as he was concerned, his blood would be more helpful if he was alive and capable of producing more of it...although he knew that people clearly did not think that far ahead. He sighed softly and stood silently by the door while he waited for Selenity to get over here. He wasn't even sure where he was supposed to be going. He raised his head when he felt Selenity's hand on his shoulder and then sighed quietly and started to move forward slowly. He still wasn't too sure about this, and it was probably more than a little obvious. However, he didn't bother to say anything more and simply moved forward to open the door.

Kanone sighed heavily when Celestine told him that he wanted him to take his room because he was obnoxious. However, he didn't argue. He was pretty sure that Nero wouldn't really care if he slept in here, but he was equally sure that Nero would love to have the room to himself right now. Once Reyes had started to climb off of the bed, he shifted positions and started to stand up as well. He glanced over to Nero when Selenity was giving him a little goodbye hug and smirked a little before he started to head for the door himself. "...I'll see you tomorrow," he said simply as he went to the door. "Goodnight, Shnookums," he added playfully as he slipped out the door. Once they had made it out into the hallway, he glanced over to Celestine and then sighed softly. "...You want be to come?" he asked softly as he reached over to place his hand on top of his cousin's head.

"...No. I'll be fine," he responded quietly.
Kanone tilted his head a little, but he didn't argue. "...Well, alright," he agreed after a moment. He paused once they had reached the door to Celestine's room and then looked at him for a moment before he reached over to pull Celestine away from Selenity. He didn't say a single word, but he didn't really need to. He just pulled Celestine to him and hugged him tightly for a few moments before turning him loose and smiling at him proudly.
Celestine was a little caught off guard when Kanone stopped and wound up pulling him into a tight hug. He didn't try to pull away, although he didn't offer to hug him back either. He just stood there, looking up at him for a few seconds before he sighed and leaned his head against his chest. Once Kanone finally released him, he stepped back and looked up at him again, smiling weakly. "...Goodnight," he told him quietly before he turned to continue following the hallway.

Nero hadn’t really been trying to make a conversation out of what he was saying to Selenity so he was a little put off by the fact that it turned into her explaining that this was the first time they’d ever had someone from his clan as a guest and continued on to speak about how she took after her mother and… etcetera. It hadn’t escaped him that while she was responding to him she had moved closer to the bed and seemed to be inspecting his face. That only gave more proof to the fact that Celestine had to have healed him to some extent otherwise Selenity wouldn’t have been inspecting his face again. He let out an almost heavy sigh as Selenity finally seemed to finish talking and wound up hugging him. He’d had enough of that downstairs in the cell but he couldn’t bring himself to just shove her away from him. Instead he just sat it out with a not too pleased look on his face the whole way through. “Yeah, yeah… Goodnight.” He responded finally when she told him goodnight and that she would let him know what happened tomorrow. He turned his attention momentarily to Kanone when he spoke up and said that he’d see him tomorrow. He didn’t bother to say a word but his expression went just a tad darker as he stared at Kanone. He knew what Kanone had talked Celestine into even after he had said he didn’t want to be healed… and he would get Kanone back for that. He was still stuck on that thought when Kanone made his playful jab and called him ‘shnookums’ so his expression barely changed and he didn’t utter a word. Kanone could be playful like that all he wanted but it didn’t excuse the fact that he had swindled things to work his way.

Reyes started to head out of the room just after Kanone and couldn’t help shaking his head a little at the playful jab Kanone made. He had seen the look on Nero’s face just before leaving the room so he imagined Kanone probably wouldn’t be in as good a mood tomorrow. At any rate, he shut the door behind himself quietly and just kind of stood in the hall while Kanone and Celestine briefly talked and had an embrace. He had been listening to everything that had been being said in the bedroom with Nero and the more he thought about it… the more he felt he should probably just go back to his room with the girls. He still kind of wanted to go and be with Celestine but at the same time he was half afraid that his presence might make things worse or at least uncomfortable regardless of the fact that Selenity would be there and he looked damn near harmless. After it appeared that Kanone and Celestine were parting ways he started to head off towards the girl’s room. “Goodnight, stay safe.” He uttered before scurrying off for the door to the girls room.

Kyran had of course gone back to Nanashi’s room once the infirmary had asked them to leave. There hadn’t been much else of a place to go really and it was better to stay out of the way for the time being, as far as he was concerned. At some point once they had gotten back to the room Aamori had ventured over to share what had happened to Nero because she hadn’t been sure that they had heard about it wherever they had been. He hadn’t heard about it at all, at least not until she had said something. They had talked for a short while, partially because Aamori became curious about LaRae’s state of mind. That conversation lead to Aamori taking LaRae off of their hands so that she could help get her cleaned up and out of the dress she was in as well as get her ready for bed. She had looked like she needed rest anyway and neither he nor Nanashi really needed to be helping LaRae with any of what Aamori offered to do. Once the two girls had left he spent a good majority of time sitting on the bed concerned with what had happened and trying to think of something that he could do to help, if there was anything. He kind of hated the way that things had played out… but it had kind of given him a chance to focus solely on something else… even though they were still closely bound subjects. He eventually wound up changing his clothes though he didn’t bother getting completely dressed like he normally would. He’d put his usual pants back on and only the snug fitting t-shirt that he usually wore beneath his vest. He slipped his boots on of course and had neglected to wash the paint off of his face or even shower for that matter. He just hadn’t wanted to wander around in the fancy suit he had been wearing.

He had momentarily thought to grab the little velveteen bag that the necklace he made was in out of the pocket of the dress pants he had been wearing. He slipped that into the pockets of his current pants and patted it absently once it was secure. He had almost developed a habit with having that thing in his pocket… even after such a short time. He had focused on it so much over the night that all he did was stand around either with his hand in his pocket rubbing the stone of the necklace or he was patting his pocket gently just to feel the security of knowing it was still there. He had meant to give it to Selenity by now… but he had been afraid to approach her and hadn’t really known what to say to her. In the back of his mind he kind of wished he’d just have bumped into her and given it to her and walked away… but he had hidden himself all night, which made that impossible. He discussed briefly with Nanashi what his plans were. He wanted to go and check up on Nero and make sure that everything was alright with him. He hadn’t heard that Nero was out of lock up so he had thought he’d go and try to get him out if he wasn’t out already. Then he wanted to check on Ellior too, just to see how things were progressing. Of course he suggested that Nanashi stay and rest some more but that was also partially because it was easier for him to get around and do his job without worrying about Nanashi… not that Nanashi did much anymore to make him really worry… but it was just easier if Nanashi stayed in the room. With all of that taken care of he made short work of exiting the room, telling Nanashi that he would be back. He had exited the room and was in the hallway just in time to see Celestine and Selenity coming. He couldn’t help but just kind of stop in place after the door was shut and stare at her, ignoring Celestine almost completely. He almost felt like a trapped animal… he couldn’t just turn around and go back in the room… and he couldn’t just run off… she’d obviously seen him. In a way he had wanted something like this to happen… but… not now. “….Oh, hey.” He started quietly. “…Where are you guys off to?” He asked almost dodgingly.

Kanone knew that Nero wasn't all that happy with him right now; he could see it in his eyes. However, he was fairly certain that he would get over it. He was used to dealing with people like him and his cousin, so he did not let the nasty glares bother him. Once Celestine had bid him goodnight, he nodded and opened the door to the bedroom. Of course he was not surprised to see that the room was full of animals. Both Nobu and Esen were taking up most of the room, and Kyiri had successfully commandeered one of the pillows on Celestine's bed. He sighed softly and then started to make his way over to the bed that had been Kyran's for a while so that he could flop down. Finally, he started to remove himself from the long, decorative shirt that he was in, although he had nothing else to put on in it's place, not that he minded. He wasn't opposed to sleeping bare chested.

Celestine glanced over to Reyes briefly as well when she told them goodnight and nodded his head a little when she told him to be safe. "...Night," he responded quietly.

Nanashi had spent a considerable amount of time with Kouki once they had been sent form the infirmary. The poor guy was such a mess that he couldn't just separate himself from him. He had wound up sitting on the stairs that led up to their rooms with him for a while, at least until someone finally came to take him home. As soon as he was free, he had gone back to his room to wait with the others. After everything that had happened today and the amount of running around he had done, he was thoroughly exhausted, even though he wasn't sure that he could sleep. Even still, once Aamori had come to claim LaRae and help her get to bed, he found himself just sitting on the edge of his bed a bit lost in thought. He was only half paying attention to what Kyran was doing, at least until he had announced that he was leaving the room for a while. "...Alright," he replied quietly. A part of him wanted to go with him, but he did not argue when Kyran asked him to stay where he was. He knew that Kyran didn't need him tagging along behind him, so as much as he wanted to help he did not mind staying behind. Besides, he was too tired to start climbing all of those stairs again. He had been feeling better, but his body was still in the process of trying to recuperate from everything that it had been put through recently, and all of his running around and climbing stairs wasn't really helping much.

Selenity paused in the hallway just long enough for Kanone and Celestine to have their moment before she continued down the hallway. She glanced over to Reyes when she finally started to leave them and sighed softly. "Goodnight," she called quietly after her before she started to look back toward the other end of the hallway. She blinked when she saw the door to Nanashi's room open and she stopped short when she saw that it was Kyran coming out. She stared at him for a moment with nearly the same expression on her face that his held. She had wanted to see him all night...and yet she knew that he was blatantly avoiding her. She could tell by looking at his face that she was not the person that he had wanted to see, and soon enough her own expression grew a bit more solemn. She lowered her gaze and turned her head a little so that she was not looking directly at him anymore. She couldn't help but feel a bit slighted...even if she did understand why he was backing off. She knew that he wanted her to do, but it still hurt to know that he was trying so hard to avoid her. However, right now, that really wasn't anything important. She forced herself to raise her head when he greeted them. "Hey," she responded quietly. She took in a deep breath and then let it out slowly before she went about answering his next question. She was trying hard not to let it show that she was still a bit upset over everything, and she was trying to master her voice control so that she wouldn't give anything away. "...We are going to the infirmary," she informed him simply. "We might have found him an antidote."

Celestine could practically feel the tension in the air while he stood next to Selenity. He let out a quiet sigh when he heard the way that the two were speaking to one another and then shook his head. "...She wants to see if my blood has any curative properties, since I survived a bite from a hydra," he explained briefly. He glanced between the two of them and then laid his ears back just a little before edging forward. "...Can you two have your awkward moment later?" he asked after a few seconds of the tense silence. "...I would like to get this over with, and the more time we waste the less likely it is going to work," he pointed out simply. "If it is going to work at all...."

Kyran hated to admit it, even to himself… but he was kind of uncomfortable right then. He knew that Selenity had to have known that he had been avoiding her… it was kind of obvious since he was never around… even when you’d think he should be. Knowing that just kind of made everything feel even stranger. It was so unlike them to have a tension like this between them but a good portion of him felt it was completely unavoidable at the present moment. She was supposed to be marrying Ellior and he didn’t to be getting in the way of that, he really didn’t… or at least that was what he kept telling himself. He continued to stare at Selenity for a few moments as she was answering his question, very loosely. His eyes shifted to Celestine with ease when he started to speak up and give him more details… details that Selenity usually gave automatically. After Celestine had elaborated where Selenity had not he glanced back to her. He was for the most part happy that she may have found a cure but what was going on between them was still weighing heavily, even now when they weren’t even talking about that topic. He couldn’t help but look over at Celestine again with a slightly embarrassed look on his face when he asked if the two of them could have their awkward moment later. He had known it was awkward, it felt it… very much so. But he hadn’t exactly imagined how obvious it would be to others around them. “…Yeah, sorry.” He responded quietly. “I didn’t mean to hold you up.” He added. “…I was going to check in on Ellior after I checked on Nero, but I think I might tag along.” He wasn’t sure that he was ready to be around Selenity that much… but he was, unfortunately, concerned for Ellior and curious to know how this whole thing might turn out. He’d kind of like to have something promising to relay to Nanashi seeing as he seemed just as concerned if not more about Ellior’s wellbeing. He hadn’t been paying too much attention to anything other than Selenity’s face when he had seen her, at least until now. He was starting to kind of relax into the idea of her being around which had caused him to glance at the rest of her, briefly, at least until he noticed what she was wearing and all the blood that was on her. His ears laid back slightly and he stared at her face for a moment. “….What happened to you?” He asked in a straight, no nonsense tone. Even with everything that was going on between them he still had a protective streak in him for her and he didn’t like seeing her with blood on her like that.

Selenity felt her cheeks grow red when Celestine asked them if they could have their awkward moment later. "...Yes, of course," she responded quietly. She looked back to Kyran again when he said that he did not mean to hold them up and then shook her head a little. "Alright," she responded quietly when he told them that he was going to tag along, since he had intended to go and check up on Ellior anyway. She started to make her way down the hall again, although she paused when she heard Kyran ask what had happened to her. "...What do you mean?" she asked almost defensively as she looked back at him. It took her a moment to remember what she was wearing. Her eyes trailed down to her once snow white night gown, which now sported blood stains smeared around the knees and then glanced over to her own shoulder. She had managed to get parts of her dress fairly bloody while messing around in Nero's cell. She let out a quiet sigh once she realized that Kyran was worried about her and then shook her head and looked at him almost apologetically. "...It isn't mine," she assured him first of all before she turned and continued to make her way down the hall. She was pretty sure that they could manage to walk and talk at the same time. "...I was shipped off to my room as soon as Nero was taken in and expected to stay there all night," she told him simply, "...I wanted to go check on Ellior, but at the time there was nothing I could do for him, so instead I sneaked down to the prison to make sure that Nero was alright. ...One of the guards had beaten him up pretty badly. Ishta is busy dealing with him now, I assume...," she said quite bitterly. "...I stayed to help get Nero cleaned up...and had a bit of a meltdown, I suppose....and then Nero told me to go do something useful, so I went to the library to see what I could find." She explained all of that without even offering to look back at Kyran. "...Nero's in his room now. Ishta had him moved after we were finished bandaging him up. He refused to let anyone heal him although...it looks like someone did it anyway."

Celestine sighed softly as he listened to Selenity's explanation. "Blame that on Kanone...I was going to leave him alone like he asked, but he kept bothering us until I did something." His ears laid back just a little and he sighed. "Granted, I don't think he realized what I was doing until after I was finished."
"...How did you manage that?" Selenity asked curiously.
"...I used my pipe," he said simply, as if that explained everything she needed to know.
