Kyran felt some relief hearing Selenity say that the blood wasn’t hers, although it hadn’t escaped him the way she looked at him originally. He followed after her and Celestine once they had started walking and listened quietly while she explained where the blood had come from. He may not have been ready to run into her just yet but he found that by doing so most of his concerns were already addressed. He wasn’t going to have to go check on Nero because he was already out of lock up and back in his room, which was a relief. He hadn’t been pleased to hear that Nero had been beaten up badly, but there wasn’t anything he could do about that. Besides, Ishta was more than enough to take care of that. He wasn’t really surprised to hear that she had escaped her room either just to check on Nero herself. He felt a twinge of guilt at hearing that she had had a meltdown… but there wasn’t anything that could really be done about that either. For the time being she seemed distracted enough with helping Ellior that other things weren’t quite bothering her as badly as they could have been. He knew that she was probably hurting just as badly as he was, if not more… but he felt defenseless. He couldn’t do anything about her marrying Ellior except stay out of the way and make the break between them as clean as it possibly could be even with them still having to do this mission together. He brushed those thoughts aside as well as he could when Celestine started to speak up saying that he had been the reason Nero had been healed. He couldn’t help but shake his head a little after Celestine answered Selenity’s last question the way that he did. “…Yes, because all pipes magically heal people.” He commented sarcastically. Almost as soon as he said that the way he did he looked a little confused. He didn’t usually resort to sarcasm when talking to people… but he supposed that was a result of the tension that was still heavy between him and Selenity. He hadn’t really meant to say it quite the way he had… but oh well… “…Should you change before you go into the infirmary …full of healers?” He asked, partially concerned that she would alarm even more people by walking in there in her night gown stained with blood.

Celestine glanced over his shoulder briefly when he heard Kyran respond to him the way he would have expected someone like Nero to respond. He made a bit of a face at him, but otherwise more or less ignored the tone that had been used. "...They can if the right wind dragon is the one playing them," he responded simply, "or did you forget that sound travels on the wind?" He sighed again quietly, realizing that he was being just as snippy with Kyran as Kyran had been with him. He shook his head a little and raised his hand to push back through his hair, absently rubbing his scar. "...I used the same sort of magic you would with a more hands-on method...only instead of focusing on the wounds themselves, I focused on the music. The sound waves healed whatever they could reach, so I just stood close to him and played for a few minutes," he explained in a more mild-mannered tone as he lowered his hand to his side. "...It's not as good as what one of your healers could do...but it's good enough."

Selenity glanced over her shoulder briefly when she heard Kyran snip at Celestine a little and then sighed quietly, shaking her head when Celestine responded by snipping back. "Alright, you two...," she said quietly. She continued to walk quietly down the hall while Celestine seemed to be trying to take the edge out of his voice and explain what he had done more accurately. "...That makes sense," she said quietly before she turned her gaze over to Kyran. She sighed softly and looked down at herself for a minute before shaking her head. "Probably, but that would be time consuming. My room is on the top floor on the other side of the palace, and there are more guards over there." No sooner had she spoken did she hear the sound of someone coming around down the hallway in the opposite direction. She stopped short and then shoved the book into Kyran's hands quickly. "Keep going," she told him quickly before she took off down the hallway, her bare feet making practically no sound on the solid floor as she hurried forward. She didn't even stop as she came to one of the many large pillars lining the hallways and jumped at it, latching on with both her hands and feet. She scrambled up the thing like a squirrel on a tree trunk and then hoisted herself into the small nook behind the decorative statue that set at the top. As soon as she had gotten into position she hunkered down behind the statue and set very still, keeping her eyes on the hallway intently.

Celestine blinked when Selenity shoved the book she was carrying at Kyran and then took off down the hall in front of them. He couldn't help but stare as she scampered expertly up the pillar. Obviously, she was well versed at that sort of thing. He stopped briefly and glanced back to Kyran before shaking his head and continuing down the hall, like she had told them. He, too, could hear the footsteps clicking off the the stone floors and knew that there was someone coming...which was probably why she had taken off.

Istha rounded the corner only a few seconds after Selenity had scampered out of sight, and she seemed none the wiser. She looked at Celestine and Kyran a bit curiously as she moved, but she did not say anything, at least not right away. She had a white satin robe thrown over her arm, and she had long since changed back into her uniform. She walk right beneath the pillar that Selenity had hidden herself behind without even looking up, although she did stop when she saw the leather bound book with their clan's writing on the cover. Well, it was obvious that Kyran was not reading that. She stood there for a moment before raising her eyes to the pillars and turning her head a little. "...Get down here," she said flatly, assuming that Selenity must be somewhere nearby. One never really knew unless they knew that she was missing. Any other guard probably would not have even noticed the book in Kyran's hand or thought anything of it, but considering that she knew where Selenity had gone and knew that she was no longer there (that had been where she had just come from), she reasoned that she must have heard her coming and hidden.

Kyran had already expected Celestine to snap back at him and took no offense at it when he did. You learned to expect that sort of thing out of people like Nero and Celestine and he knew he had started it to begin with. He remained silent while Celestine calmed his tone and better explained what he had actually done with the pipe in order to heal Nero. He agreed easily when Selenity piped up on the topic and said that it made sense. It did and he left it at that. He did focus more on Selenity when she got around to answering him about her state of dress. He imagined it would be time consuming to go from here all the way to her room and avoid the guards all along the way. The issue with Ellior was kind of a time sensitive matter after all. He had just thought that it would be better for her if she didn’t go rushing in there dressed the way that she was, she was liable to give every healer in that room a heart attack… especially seeing as someone very possibly could be killing Ellior right this minute. He startled very slightly when Selenity so suddenly thrust the book she was carrying into his hands and took off. He had heard the footsteps coming but he hadn’t quite expected them to vault Selenity into action like they had. He held onto the book easily enough once she had given it to him but he couldn’t help but stare at her while she scaled the pillar to hide. After she had all but gotten to the top he shook his head and started to follow after Celestine. He wasn’t particularly surprised to see Ishta round the corner but if he were thinking better he probably would have turned the book so that it’s cover wasn’t legible, or something. Ishta was quick when it came to picking up on things, unlike most of the other guards… so he would have hidden it from her or at least made it look like it wasn’t what it was… but he hadn’t thought about it… at all. He was a little surprised that Ishta wound up calling after Selenity… but then again… the two of them were rather close so maybe it shouldn’t have surprised him. He shook his head again and paused in the hall rather than continuing to the infirmary. Ishta had gathered that Selenity was there and it was only a matter of time before Ishta did something to get Selenity down if she wouldn’t come down herself. Well… all things considered… at least watching her climb the pillar the way she did was amusing.

Celestine stopped as well once Kyran had ceased moving forward, and merely looked at Ishta when she seemed to realize that Selenity was somewhere nearby. "...She does this often?" he asked dryly, not really expecting too much of an answer.

"...More often than I care to recount," she responded without even looking at him. She turned around and started to walk back to the nearest pillar, already having spotted a bit of Selenity's gown hanging over the edge. Without warning, she leaped into the air, opening her wings to boost herself up and snatched the end of Selenity's tail before closing her wings and pulling her from her little nook by the tail.

Selenity had been fully prepared to climb down on her own once Ishta clearly seemed to realize that she was there. Frankly, if she had known that it was Ishta, she wouldn't have bothered hiding in the first place. However, she was a little surprised when Ishta took to the usual method of getting her down so quickly. She let out a surprised yelp as her rump slid of of the pestle and she came crashing to the floor in a heap. "Oow! What was that for, I was coming down!" she snapped irritably as she pushed herself up. Sometimes she wished Ishta would treat her a little more like a princess and less like one of her cadets. She wasn't really hurt from the fall, but it by no means felt good on her tailbone. She groaned and rubbed her aching lower back while looking at Ishta in mild annoyance.

"That was for all the trouble you're going to have caused me by tomorrow by not staying in your room where you're supposed to be," she replied bluntly before she tossed the gown that had been hanging over her arm in Selenity's general direction. "If you are going to continue wandering around the palace in your night clothes, at least cover up." She sighed heavily and crossed her arms. "Whatever you are doing, get on with it...and then go clean up," she said simply as she started to make her way past them again. She knew better than to try and impede on Selenity's mission. "Judging by the book you're carrying and the direction you're going, I am going to assume that Nero's little kick in the tail did you some good. NOw, if you'll excuse me I have a post to get to."

Selenity raised her hand quickly to grab the robe that had been tossed her way and wasted no time slipping her arms into it. Thankfully, once she wrapped it around herself and tied the belt, the blood was no longer really that noticeable. There was still a bit on the side of her face, but for the most part she had managed to wipe a good portion of that off. She nodded her head slightly, the irritation seeming to fade from her features as she did so. As rash and to the point as Ishta was, she still seldom tried to force her into following the rules that were laid out for her. Any other guard would have promptly returned her to her room, as ordered. "...Thanks, Ishta," she said quietly, although she blinked when she told her that she had a post to get to. "...A post?"

"...I told Nero I would put someone I trusted outside his door to make sure that no one else bothered him. Right now, I don't particularly trust anyone. Practically the entire guard has something against his clan, given the amount of losses we have had recently," she pointed out simply. "...Shouldn't you be going?" she reminded Selenity pointedly before she continued to make her way down the hall. "You don't have time to be standing around."

Selenity smiled a little when Ishta said that she was going to guard Nero's room herself, more or less, although the smile faded when she pointed out that nearly everyone in the guard had something against Nero's clan. It probably didn't help that Nero was quite obviously trained for his clan's military...meaning they had probably fought him at some point or another. She sighed quietly and then nodded her head when Ishta reminded her that she didn't have the luxury of time to stand around and think. "Come on," she said quickly as she turned and started to hurry to the stairs.

Kyran was surprised, to say the least, at Ishta’s method of getting Selenity down from atop the pillar. Naturally he would have tried to catch her so that she didn’t fall and hurt herself but he was a little struck by the familiarity of what had just played out in front of him and Celestine. It was even more obvious after Selenity had hit the floor and started complaining that Ishta must have done that or something similar to her more than once. He continued to stand there quietly while Selenity and Ishta had their exchange. He was vaguely surprised to hear that Ishta didn’t exactly trust anyone in her guard to stand post at Nero’s door, so she was doing it herself. That… seemed a little much. Surely there had to be someone who was too timid or something to act on an impulse to hurt Nero… or maybe that was just wishful thinking. If there was a timid person in the guard… well, he wouldn’t be there very long, he imagined. He didn’t start walking again until after Selenity was prepared to get moving again and said for him and Celestine to come on. He hurried after her easily, mostly because there really wasn’t time for all these stops and distractions when it came to the task at hand. If whatever Selenity had found could cure Ellior… well, it needed to get to him, stat.

Selenity was, admittedly, a little embarrassed after Ishta had pulled her down the way that she had in front of the others, but at the same time it didn't really bother her. She knew that had it been anyone else with her, Ishta likely would not have been so rough. She only really acted that way toward her when they were alone or with someone that she was very familiar with. As soon as Ishta had left them alone, she started to hurry to the stairs, not bothering to slow or stop again. Thankfully, the coast was mostly clear all the way to the infirmary, although there were a few instances where Selenity took to slipping out of sight momentarily until someone passed them. Once they had reached the doors to the infirmary, she finally opened them and slipped inside quietly, holding them for Kyran and Celestine. As soon as she entered the room she started to glance around, searching for Ellior. Frankly, it didn't take her long to find him. Aside from the healers, the infirmary was empty of patients, except for the one.

Mere moments after the doors had opened, one of the healers wandered by hastily. She paused when she noticed that the door was open and turned her head. "Excuse me, but...," she began although her eyes widened a little when she spotted who exactly was at the door. "Oh! Your highness, I...I don't...know that you should be down here right now...," she told her quietly.

"How is he?" she asked, ignoring the healer's suggestion. She stepped a bit further inside the room, making it apparent that she had no intention of leaving.

The healer watched as Selenity stepped a bit further into the room and then sighed softly before glancing back over her shoulder. "...Not very well," she answered quietly. "...At the rate that things are going...things are not looking well for him."
"What about an antidote?"
"We have given him several, based on his symptoms. However, he does not seem to be responding well to any of them."

Celestine had not been very far behind Selenity as they were going down the hallway, although once they had gotten to the door he hesitated briefly before slipping into the room. He listened silently when Selenity asked about Ellior's condition. He could tell simply by the healer's reluctance to answer that the news was not good. For a few moments, he did not bother to say anything, although finally, he moved forward and came to stand next to Selenity, reaching over to put his hand on her elbow. One look at her was enough to see what she was upset by the news. "...We might be able to help," he said quietly.
"Oh?" The woman turned to look at the young wind dragon skeptically, although she did not seem at all inclined to deny him a chance. "...Well, nothing that we have tried thus far seems to be working...what is your suggestion?"
Celestine glanced over to Selenity, and saw that she was looking down at him. He sighed quietly, and then turned his gaze away. Normally, he imagined that she would have piped up and explained everything, but from the looks of it, she was waiting for him to speak. "...Selenity was trying to research the type of poison that was used and found a book that mentioned the antitoxins found in Hydra blood," he began, pausing long enough for the healer to think about what he was saying.

"Well...that would most likely work, except we do not have any. Hydras are a very rare breed, and may very well be extinct in this day and age. Their blood was once a well known remedy for poisons of any kind, which is probably what led to their near extinction." She sighed quietly and glanced over her shoulder almost anxiously. "...It is a good idea, but I'm afraid that is just wistful thinking."
"Not entirely," he responded quietly. "...My grandfather was a pure-blood hydra. I am sure that whatever properties hydra blood contains has been diluted in mine, but I still have hydra blood."
The healer looked suddenly more interested in what Celestine had brought up, and she absently cupped her chin in her fingers while her other hand gripped her elbow thoughtfully. "Part hydra...I've never even heard of that," she said quietly before she edged a little closer, almost cautiously. She leaned down a little to look into the...well, she wasn't quite sure if this was a boy or a girl, but either way...the eyes said enough. "Interesting...."

Celestine shifted uncomfortably under the woman's gaze, but he didn't offer to back up. "...I'm willing to help, if I can," he told her quietly.
The woman straightened up and nodded slightly. "I do not know if it will work, but if you are willing then I see no reason not to try." She refrained from pointing out that he was probably going to die either way, so honestly...it couldn't really hurt to try. "Come with me," she said quickly, seeming to forget all about the other two that were standing there.
Celestine reluctantly took a step forward, although he was not too thrilled about being asked to leave with the woman. Unfortunately, he soon found that he didn't have much of a choice as she reached down to grasp his wrist. He sucked in a quiet breath and then looked over his shoulder at Selenity and Kyran nervously, though he didn't really bother to fight being pulled along; he merely looked as though he wanted one of them to follow.

Kyran had followed Selenity and Celestine silently while he carried the book. He barely paid any mind to Selenity when she slipped out of sight whenever they passed someone. After the little bit with Ishta it hardly seemed unnatural now. When they reached the infirmary he was still mostly behind Celestine, absently keeping a distance from Selenity without really even trying. He noticed the very brief pause in Celestine when they reached the door but didn’t say a word and merely followed him inside once he had moved again. He imagined that Celestine was uncomfortable with the whole idea of trying to help Ellior, who wouldn’t be… when blood was involved. He continued to remain quiet as Selenity got to asking about Ellior’s condition. He had been with Ellior for a good length of time since this whole mess began… so he knew what the answer was long before the healer even answered. It hadn’t much changed since he, LaRae, Nanashi and Kouki had been asked to leave. Once it came to Celestine having to explain things in Selenity’s stead he took to watching the healer and occasionally glancing off in the direction of Ellior. There wasn’t much for him to do now that he was here, but he knew that when he was coming. He just wanted to see if anything had improved and he wouldn’t know now until after they did whatever needed to be done with Celestine. He turned his eyes back to the healer about the time that she was telling Celestine to come with her. He noticed the look in Celestine’s eyes when he looked back at him and Selenity. He couldn’t say no to someone when they looked like that and it was obvious that Celestine was at the very least a little scared. He shifted slightly and then took a step to follow, pausing long enough to set the book down on the nearest table or surface before continuing after Celestine and the healer. Selenity had seemed a bit more bothered by the news than expected so he thought going with Celestine would be the better bet for him and it would leave her time to see Ellior if she hadn’t been down to see him previously.

Selenity stood silently while Celestine took to explaining for her. She wasn't even entirely sure why the news bothered her so badly. She had known how bad things were well before she had come down here. Perhaps hearing it from one of the healers simply made it sink in a little more...or maybe it was just the realization that if this didn't work...Ellior wasn't going to make it. She had been so distracted by trying to find a cure before hand that now that she potentially had one...she wasn't entirely sure what to do with herself. She turned her head to look at Celestine when she noticed the way that he was looking back at them and was just about to take a step to follow when Kyran stepped in front of her. She paused and stared at him for a few moments before letting out a quiet sigh and looking back over toward Ellior's bed. It appeared that Kyran was going to go with Celestine, so there was not much need for her to go as well. She had intended to stay right with him, initially...but that was before Kyran decided to join them. She continued to stand right where they had left her, at least for a few moments before slowly making her way over to Ellior's bed. It was difficult to make much of his condition from across the room, but the closer she came to him, the worse he was looking. His skin was ash white, except for the center of his face, which was still flushed red with fever. His face was damp and his hair was sticking to the sides of his face wetly. It looked as though someone had been trying to clean him up, seeing as there was a bowl of water and a few cloths sitting on the bedside table. What worried her the most, however was his breathing, which was coming in shallow, uneven gasps. After a moment, she sank down on the edge of the bed carefully and turned so that she could see his face and then leaned over him a little. She placed one hand on the bed on the other side of him to hold herself upright and then reached down with her free hand to stroke his hair gently. She noticed that his head had been turned to the side, and there was a folded cloth just below his mouth. Apparently, whatever this was, had been causing him to salivate, although at current he didn't seem to be having that problem. She sighed quietly and turned her gaze back to his face as she stroked his hair lightly. "...Please...get well," she whispered quietly.

Celestine let out a quiet breath when Kyran started to follow him to the next room. After listening to Nero and...well, just the way that the healer had been looking at him a moment ago, he was not at all comfortable with doing this. To him, it had looked like the woman was staring him down like some kind of lab rat. He soon found himself being pulled over to a chair and asked to sit down. He did sit, slowly. His body remained a bit ridged in the seat and he clasped his hands together in his lap firmly. He watched in complete silence as the healer started to gather together several things, such as tubes and needles. He swallowed hard and then glanced over his shoulder to Kyran anxiously, as if making sure that he was still there. A little too suddenly, the healer was in front of him again and reaching for his arm, which he gave to her...reluctantly. It hadn't taken her long at all to get everything set up and ready. He glanced down as she was pushing up his sleeve and took to tying some sort of elastic band around his upper arm tightly. He shifted uncomfortably in the chair when she reached back for a rather large syringe and then swallowed hard as she was turning his wrist over to examine it.

"...Goodness...you're so tiny," she commented quietly, "Have you been sick recently?"
"No," he responded quietly.
"Well...this might hurt just a little. Please try to hold very still, your arm is so small I can barely find the veins," she told him as she was cleaning off his wrist. With that, she started to edge the needle closer to his arm and carefully tried to stick one of the veins, although it rolled away from her. She let out an exasperated sigh and pulled the needle back before trying again in a slightly different spot. This time, she managed to catch it, just barely. As soon as she had managed to snag the vein, she opened the valve on the tube that it was attached to the other end and double checked to make sure that the tube was inserted securely in the container pint sized container that was going to hold the blood.

Celestine nodded his head slightly when the woman told him that this may hurt a little, but he tried to sit still. He did cringe a little when she put the needle to his arm and missed. He hissed quietly through his teeth when she had to go and try again. It didn't particularly really hurt...but it was definitely very uncomfortable. Finally, he just closed his eyes and turned his head away while keeping his teeth locked tightly together. It took a good few minutes for the container to fill, but as soon as the healer was finished with him, he pulled his arm back and started to place his hand over the small, bleeding hole, although before he managed to get that far, she had already put a piece of folded gauze over it. He watched as she placed the syringe down on the counter and took to untying the band from his arm, but he didn't move other than to press his hand over the gauze firmly.
"Alright, stay right here. We are not going to be able to give it to him like this. I will see what I can do with it." She looked over to Kyran for a moment and smiled just a little. "...Kyran, right? Would you mind keeping an eye on him for a few minutes? He is probably going to be feeling a little light headed for a bit." Before Kyran could even really give her a response, she was already hurrying from the room with the vial of blood in hand. They were going to have to try and do something with Celestine's blood. After all, they couldn't just inject it into Ellior's blood stream. That in itself could kill him without any help if they did not share the same blood type, although that would have been the quickest means of getting it into his system.

Kyran continued to follow after Celestine and the healer into the next room. Once the healer had asked Celestine to sit down he went ahead and took up residence a little out of the way and against a bare wall. He remained silent and watched the healer as she got together what she needed in order to draw blood from Celestine. He noticed rather easily when Celestine looked over his shoulder, checking to make sure he was still here. “Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.” He responded almost automatically. He wasn’t going to go anywhere and he knew the healer was going to do her very best not to hurt Celestine. He’d seen the healers working tirelessly to help Ellior and even though he was a member of their clan he still suspected the healer would treat Celestine well. Besides, she had an audience… with someone of Kyran’s standing. It wouldn’t bode well for her to act dishonestly or hurt Celestine in front of him. He may not have been a royal or been of high statue in the community but his word still held a lot of sway amongst a lot of people. He continued to watch the healer closely while she worked. As soon as she was done and had all sharp objects out and away from Celestine he pushed off the wall and edged closer to him. He had noticed that the process had been discomforting so he moved closer to Celestine and set his hand down gently on his shoulder once it was done. He had thought very briefly of doing it sooner but hadn’t wanted to accidentally make Celestine jump or something while the needle was inserted into his arm. He looked up while keeping his hand on Celestine’s shoulder gently when he heard the healer say his name. “Yes ma’am.” He responded when she questioned whether or not she had his name right, although noticed that she hadn’t really left him time to answer that before she proceeded with the next question and then left the room. He just kind of stood there for a moment before shaking his head lightly. It went without saying that he would keep an eye on Celestine but he appreciated the thought coming from her. After a moment he moved his hand and shifted around to take a seat in a chair across from him [assuming the healer might have been sitting, if not he pulled one close]. “Uncomfortable I’m sure, but not too bad, right?” He questioned, mostly conversationally.

Celestine didn't make a sound as the healer was busying herself with getting out of the room, nor did he bother to raise his head. At least...not until Kyran touched him. He startled just a little and then looked up at him for a few moments before lowering his eyes again and letting out a quiet sigh. Once he had gotten over the initial start, he lowered his head a little and let his eyes close. He was a little more tired than he had been earlier now that he was missing so much blood. He honestly wasn't sure how much the woman had even taken, but he didn't even really care. His heart was still beating, that was all that really mattered. He raised his head a little when he heard the chair scooting forward and then looked at Kyran quietly when he asked him if it was not too bad of an experience. "...It is more unnerving than anything," he said tiredly before looking away again. "...I know perfectly well why there are so few hydras nowadays.... I don't want to end up like them," he said bluntly. "...There aren't very many people that I trust with that sort of information...so naturally, I'm not very thrilled about telling a complete stranger."

Kyran sat back and relaxed into the chair a little, resting his hands in his lap for lack of anywhere else to really put them. He hadn’t just gone through what Celestine had and Selenity wasn’t readily in the room so it wasn’t too hard for him to just sit back and relax. He listened quietly when Celestine responded to his question and then nodded his head slightly in understanding. He could see where Celestine was coming from and why he seemed so on edge, but at the same time he didn’t really feel that Celestine needed to fret. Neither he nor Selenity would let anything bad happen to him, especially not here. “You won’t end up like the hydras.” He said pretty confidently. “For one, there are too many people here who would defend you. Second, you’re too much of a fighter to let someone take advantage of you like that.” He told him. If anything happened where Celestine stood the chance of being used because of his blood he was positive that Celestine wouldn’t go down without one hellacious fight. Of course he didn’t think it would ever come down to that considering the number of people who were usually around him at any given time. Hell, even Nero would probably fight to help protect him if he really needed to. “That aside… I wouldn’t worry so much about this healer having such information. There is a good possibility that your blood could be completely useless against poison, just like there is a good chance it could help. If it can help, I’d imagine that the healers would try and make a synthetic version of your blood and hope it had the same properties.” He paused. “I mean you’re a person after all, I doubt the light clan would take kindly to harming you just for the sake of an easy out when it came to curing poisons. Poison’s I might add that usually have an antidote already… It’s probably just a matter of they don’t know exactly what poison this was so they can’t help him as quickly as they normally would if this had been something they’ve dealt with before.” Or at least he believed that pretty strongly.

Celestine turned his eyes to the side without bothering to move his head once Kyran told him that he would not end up like the hydras. He merely stared at him silently when he told him that there were too many people who would defend him from an attack, although he gave a little smirk after Kyran pointed out that he was too much of a fighter to be taken down easily. "...If a Hydra itself can be killed, I am sure I would not be much of a challenge to someone who knew what they were doing," he pointed out simply. Hydra's with their diamond hard scales, poison tipped tails, venomous fangs, and talon-like claws certainly posed more of a threat than his fluffy little dragon form. "...Then again, I suppose you haven't seen what I really look like," he added almost as an after thought. He was sure that Kyran would probably change him mind if he saw him in his full dragon glory. He sighed softly when Kyran pointed out that there was a chance that his blood could be completely useless. "...Yes, there is always that chance," he said simply. He tilted his head a little when Kyran said that the healers would make a synthetic version of the his blood if it worked and then shook his head a little. "...Since when has being a person ever really mattered in the larger scheme of things?" he asked bluntly. He sighed softly and then raised his hand to his head absently, rubbing his temple a little. "...Well, I suppose all we can do is wait and see what happens," he said quietly. "...I do hope that it helps.... He does not deserve to die like this." He started to raise his head again slightly and then glanced toward the door. He could hear the healer giving instructions to someone, so from the sounds of it, they were trying to give him the antidote orally, although he could not quite hear everything that was being said or done. He finally looked back down to his arm and moved the gauze to see if he was still bleeding. By now, the pinpricks seemed to have stopped bleeding, although he had a feeling he was going to have a small bruise there. He let out his breath and then lowered his arm before he started to push himself up out of the chair. "I'm going--," he began although he cut himself off quickly when he realized that the only place he was going was face-first into the floor. As soon as he had started to push himself upright, he was overcome with a strong surge of dizziness, accompanied by wave of fatigue that caused his legs to practically give out beneath him. If Kyran hadn't moved the chair up where he had, he probably really would have fallen to the floor, but thankfully, Kyran was able to break his fall.

Kyran hadn’t exactly ignored the fact that hydra’s where hard to kill and yet they were pretty much extinct. He had been thinking more along the lines of the fact that people would underestimate Celestine by his appearance as a lot of people already had... but that was irrelevant he supposed. He didn’t bother to really put up an argument against the things that Celestine was saying, partially because he had a point but also because he didn’t feel like arguing to validate his own point. He nodded his head a little when Celestine finally said that all they could do was wait and see what happened. He agreed, there wasn’t a whole lot else they could do. “I do too.” He commented after Celestine said that he hoped it helped. He didn’t think that Ellior deserved to die… not yet exactly. He still wasn’t happy about the whole marriage thing but he thought that Ellior should die of old age or something rather than poison. He didn’t have much else to say to be honest and just remained quiet while he sat and waited to hear back from the healer. He had let his eyes wander a little, at least until he noticed out of the corner of his eye that Celestine was starting to get up. He opened his mouth and started to tell him that he shouldn’t get up and move just yet but the damage had already been done. He responded nearly instantaneously when Celestine started to careen to the side after a weak attempt to stabilize himself. He put his arm out to catch his fall and keep him from face planting on the floor. Rather than leave Celestine all but hanging onto his arm beside him he pulled him closer and used his other arm to help lift him into his lap gently so that he couldn’t really go anywhere. “You really shouldn’t have gotten up yet.” He commented. He could have put Celestine back in the other chair but he didn’t particularly want to leave him there if he couldn’t even stand up. He’d already moved and made himself disoriented… so he didn’t want to leave him sitting in the other chair without any restraints to keep him from falling out of the chair and onto the floor. He hadn’t even bothered to think how being set in his lap might make Celestine feel. He just thought it the most convenient method of keeping Celestine upright and avoid any casualties due to imbalance. Plus… Celestine was small enough and light enough that he just kind of responded the way he would have when Minako was his size. It hadn’t been completely intentional… it just kind of happened out of reflex.

Celestine hadn't thought much at all about standing up when he had. Sitting, he'd felt completely fine, other than feeling even more tired than he already had been before. That feeling left him wanting nothing more than to get back to his room and sleep it off. Unfortunately, he realized a little too late that standing up wasn't the best idea. The blood loss itself would not have been this much of an issue if he had not been using so much of his magic upstairs. He let out a little squeak when Kyran threw his arm out to catch him and he found himself practically hanging over Kyran's arm like a limp towel. He struggled to get his feet back under him again, although before he was able to be successful in that attempt, he felt Kyran pull him off of the floor altogether and up into his lap. His eyes widened as soon as his rear came into contact with Kyran's knee and his face instantly flushed a deep shade of scarlet. He started to open his mouth to object, but before he was even able to speak his body reacted just the way that it had in Kairava when he had been sick and Aamori's stupid brother had to go and embarrass him. In a single puff, Celestine seemed to disappear, and his clothes fell empty into a pile in Kyran's lap, except for one small section which seemed to be moving around of it's own accord. Celesting wriggled and flailed around until his tiny head found the neck hole of his shirt and he took in a deep breath before looking up to Kyran. Like before, he was no bigger than a small garden snake, save for the tiny golden horn on his head and the small, bird-like wings on his back. He stared up at Kyran for a moment and then let out a tiny, exasperated cry before his head just fell, chin first onto the top of Kyran's leg and his tiny dog-like ears laid back in obvious humiliation.

Kyran still hadn’t thought anything of picking Celestine up like he had. The kid was obviously worn out so it was easier to just take the load off for him since he wasn’t doing it himself. He startled a bit when there was a sudden puff of smoke and the weight in his lap was gone, as appeared to be Celestine. He couldn’t help but stare a little wide-eyed at the space where Celestine had been and his clothes remained. It took him a moment but he glanced down to his lap when he felt something moving amongst the pile of clothes. He tilted his head to the side slightly once a small head popped out from the shirt, recognizing the horn on its tiny little head almost instantly. He didn’t say anything but he definitely looked a bit confused as well as slightly alarmed. He hadn’t ever seen Celestine like this and of course he hadn’t ever seen him in his dragon form… he just kind of hoped this wasn’t it. It was… kind of small… and pathetically cute looking. “……Y-you…” he started but paused and shook his head a little. It was kind of hard to figure out what exactly to say right that minute. “….Are you alright…?” He asked finally. He wasn’t sure what was going on or if this was even a normal occurrence. He edged his hand a little closer, slowly so that he could pull the remainder of the clothing from Celestine’s little dragon body and just kind of stared in a slight state of awe.

Celestine sighed heavily when he heard Kyran finally ask him if he was alright. He let out a tiny growl that would normally translate to a very disgruntled 'yeah' and then closed his eyes. He shifted slightly when he felt Kyran pulling the clothes away from him and he raise his head again, carefully sliding his wings out of the shirt collar and fluttered them a little to straighten out his feathers as he carefully coiled his body beneath him and settled down on Kyran's thigh, the fluff at the tip of his tail brushing lightly against his knee. This form was little different from his full dragon form, save for the obvious size difference. He still had the sliver of soft, pale jade fur running from the back of his head all the way down his back between his feathered wings to the tip of his tail where it fluffed and curled. For a moment, he held his wings out to either side half furled so that he could keep his balance upright. He very obviously lacked any form of support other than what he could provide with his own spine. In his dragon form, he really was little better off than a winged snake. After a moment, he simply coiled in on himself a little more and then folded his wings tightly to his back, although he looked as though he was trying to burrow his head into his own coils. He let out a series of muffled sounds, that almost sounded like a disgruntled kitten throwing a fit. "Damn it! This is so humiliating! All I wanted to do was go to bed!"

Kyran stared down at Celestine after he had pulled the clothes back and he started to move a little. He didn’t really understand anything that was being said… if anything was being said at all. He could tell that Celestine wasn’t happy, that was obvious… but he really wasn’t following anything else. He was noticing that in this form, whatever it was he wasn’t very balanced… although you would probably imagine that from the ultimate result of a winged snake… He continued to stare down at Celestine at a complete loss. He didn’t know what to do… or what to say… or what to do… He wasn’t sure if he should pick him up and move him… or even touch him for that matter. He wasn’t sure if this was temporary… or… well… anything for that matter. The only thought that vaguely occurred to him was that he could probably fold up Celestine’s clothes… but that hardly seemed important when faced with a miniature dragon of some sort on your knee. He was so tiny… and he couldn’t help but feel a little protective of him in a slightly different way. His size and his looks… well… a cat or even Selenity’s dog could probably eat him. He pushed that thought aside as quickly as it came on, the last thing he needed to do was say something like that out loud and startle Celestine. The only thing he was realizing was that this had to have happened before… Celestine hardly seemed frantic about it… he well… he seemed embarrassed perhaps. He really wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do… “…Um… should I be doing anything…?” He asked a little unsurely. “…Or do you just kind of wait this out or something?” He kind of felt the need to go find Kanone and see what he knew… because he was at a total loss.

Celestine was quite content with keeping his head burrowed in his own coils, at least for the time being. After a minute, he slowly raised his head to look at Kyran again, mainly because Kyran was speaking to him again. He stared at him for a few moments and then sighed softly. He let out a quiet series of throaty grumbles, but much like the voice of a child it was so immature that it was probably a bit difficult to understand unless you knew how to piece together what bits and pieces you could actually hear. Finally he just shook his head a little and then started to lay himself back down across Kyran's leg tiredly. He knew that it was pointless to try verbally communicating with Kyran. He didn't seem to be hearing a word that he was saying, or at least not understanding it. It was apparently enough just by looking at him that he was still tired. His tiny emerald eyes were only half open,a nd every movement he made was just a little sluggish now that he seemed to be over his little tantrum at having turned in the first place. He made another quiet sound, which vibrated his throat against Kryan's knee. "I'm fin...just tired," he tried to tell him quietly. He was sure that Kyran could figure out on his own that he was going to need his clothes later, so he saw little need to try explaining to him that he needed him to make sure that he didn't lose them.

Kyran continued to stare down at Celestine unsurely. He still wasn’t sure exactly what he was trying to say when he thought he was trying to speak. He was listening… he just wasn’t used to having so much trouble hearing someone speak and of course it had been years since he had had to piece anyone’s speech together to understand them. He hadn’t he thought of that actually. He hadn’t bothered to pick up on the fact that he could probably have better understood Celestine if he had been listening for key words and putting it together himself. He was still a bit stunned by the whole thing so he really wasn’t following a whole lot. He could tell that Celestine was tired, it was obvious. That added to his previous thought of Kanone. If Celestine was tired he should probably just go back up to the rooms and let Kanone handle this… if he was even savvy to it. He let out a quiet sigh after a few moments. He wasn’t really sure if he should move Celestine to be honest. He was so small he was almost afraid he might break something if he touched him, but at the same time he couldn’t possibly be that fragile… could he? He started to put his hand closer to Celestine, being overly cautious about it… like he was afraid he’d be bitten or something. “…We should probably take you back upstairs.” He commented quietly. “…How …how should I move you?” He questioned, half knowing that he wouldn’t really understand what was said even if Celestine did answer him.

Celestine had more or less already figured out that trying to talk to Kyran in his form was going to be no better than when he was trying to talk to Yoichi...so after a short while, he simply stopped trying altogether. After the little bout with Yoichi back in Kairava, he thought it best to just keep quiet and lie still...at least then he wouldn't get thrown into a sock drawer...hopefully. He could probably have turned back by now...although he didn't particularly want to do so where he had an audience. For right now, he didn't even really care where he was, so long as he was able to rest for a while. He opened his eyes and looked up at Kyran once again when he told him that they should probably take him back upstairs and let out a quiet growl of agreement. He watched as Kyran inched his hand closer to him like he was half afraid that he was going to get attacked and merely sighed heavily before looking back up at him again. He turned his head slightly when Kyran asked how he should move him and then carefully started to coil himself up again slightly before he started to try and stand himself up slowly. He swayed a bit unsteadily as he raised him, but soon enough he had stretched over so that he was resting against Kyran's hand and slowly slid himself into Kyran's palm, curling in on himself until at least half of his body was positioned in Kyran's open hand before he raised his tail and started to coil it around Kyran's wrist a few ties to hold himself steady. Once he had managed to position himself in Kyran's hand, he sighed again and slowly curled in on himself again, letting his head rest right on the base of Kyran's palm, though no sooner had he laid his head down did his tiny mouth open wide in a yawn. The teeth in his mouth were so tiny that they were barely even visible, and honestly did not look like they would do damage to much more than a bug if he decided to eat one. Once the yawn had passed he closed his eyes again and nuzzled his head against Kyran's hand a little more, trying to get himself comfortable for the time being.

Just as Celestine was getting himself comfortably the door to the small room opened again and the healer stepped back inside. "Well...we administered the antidote. He had a bit of trouble swallowing it, but...we got it down him alright," she said a bit tiredly. She blinked when she realized that the little wind dragon was gone. "Oh, where did he go?" she asked, unable to see the small serpentine creature in Kyran's other hand from where she was standing.

Kyran was a little more at ease once Celestine had taken it upon himself to move himself. He hadn’t been sure how to move him or where it was safe to touch him… so… yeah, he figured Celestine in this form would be delicate, since he looked that way. He didn’t budge his hand really while Celestine climbed on and got situated. He didn’t even move once he had started wrapping his tail around his wrist. Better safe than sorry, he supposed. He gathered that Celestine had probably done that for stability of some sort or at least to make sure he didn’t fall out of his hand. He couldn’t help but smile slightly once he had started making himself comfortable and wound up yawning. Of course that gave him a brief moment to see just the size of Celestine’s teeth. He wasn’t so much concerned with being bitten after seeing them… they looked like they were so small that he’d probably have enough trouble just trying to grasp skin. He was a bit focused on Celestine and just watching silently that he didn’t really notice right away when the healer came back into the room. He did lift his eyes when he heard her start to talk and almost immediately started to get a little nervous. He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to say about Celestine if she brought him up… and of course she did, only after informing him about Ellior. He was glad that they had given Ellior an antidote, even if it had been troublesome to get him to take it. He hoped that the antidote worked. That aside… what the hell was he supposed to tell her about Celestine? He didn’t know how Celestine felt about people knowing about this form… or whatever it was. He hadn’t liked people knowing about him being part hydra… so he wasn’t sure how he’d take the healer knowing about this too. Then of course he couldn’t really ask Celestine’s opinion on the matter. He sighed quietly, eyeing the clothes still in his lap. It… would be kind of hard to argue that he had left without his clothes… and he didn’t particularly want to lie… he supposed he would just have to deal with Celestine’s possible wrath after the fact. He finally lifted his hand just a little so that it would put Celestine in sight of the woman. “…I …don’t really have an explanation, to be honest.” He said sounding a little embarrassed. Usually he knew everything... or at least almost everything, in this case… he knew nothing… except… that Celestine was in his hand and rather small…

Celestine opened his eyes briefly when he heard the healer come back into the room and start to tell Kyran about Ellior. Well, he was at least glad to hear that they had been able to administer the antidote. He shifted positions slightly, laying his ears back a bit when she asked about him. Naturally, he was not very fond of being seen this way, but there was not much that he could do about it. He raised his head a little when Kyran started to hold him up so that he was visible and simply stared at the woman for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh and laying his head back down on Kyran's hand.

The healer blinked when Kyran held up his hand high enough for her to see the tiny dragon sitting in his palm. "Oh my...," she commented curiously as she inched a little closer. She examined him for a moment and then smiled slightly. "Are you always this small?" she asked with a friendly smile. She chuckled when the little dragon looked up at her and shook his head a little. "Oh, I see," she replied simply. "Well, I am sure that you have a very beautiful form when you are larger," she complimented lightly. She looked back to Kyran and shook her head a little before offering him a slight smile. "He will be fine," she assured him calmly. "This is something of a...disorder in some adolescent dragons. Whenever their bodies are under too much stress it changes into an immature form of it's usual state. He will probably grow out of it eventually. It's a disorder most commonly found in young ones who suffer from anxiety, although...severe head trauma has been known to be a cause as well....," she added thoughtfully, as her eyes found the small scar on the front left of his forehead. "Well, either way, I am sure that he can change back whenever he feels like it."

Celestine opened his eyes again and stared over at the woman irritably while she explained to Kyran why he was like this. Honestly, he never really knew why it happened himself, and he had never seen it happen to anyone else. He simply knew that it happened whenever he wasn't feeling well and someone had to go and embarrass him on top of it. Once the woman was finished with her explanation, he simply curled in on himself a little more and tried to burrow his head into Kyran's hand while making a series of quiet growls. "Come on...let's just go back upstairs...," he urged.

Kryan didn’t know what type of response to expect out of the healer so in all honesty he was a little cautious. He didn’t think the woman would hurt Celestine but that didn’t change the fact that he felt a little protective over him at the present moment. He watched the woman closely once she inspected Celestine and his tiny form and listened quietly as she asked him if he was always this small. He continued to remain quiet while she got her answer and wound up explaining a bit of what was going on. He was surprised to hear that what was going on with Celestine was some sort of disorder. It didn’t sound like it was anything hazardous to Celestine’s health… it just sounded inconvenient and a little embarrassing. It wasn’t something that he had ever heard of before and he supposed it was somewhat rare… or perhaps that was just his thought process after considering where he had grown up. He knew more on adult matter than he did adolescent matters any day. He couldn’t help but kind of stare down at Celestine for a few moments after the healer had said that she was sure Celestine could change back whenever he felt like it. That relieved him to some extent, if it were true. He wasn’t going to ask Celestine to try changing back right that minute… he was aware that there were clothes in his lap so that probably meant he’d be naked when he changed back and he wouldn’t want to do that in front of the healer and him, he was sure. He was sure more than ever after the woman was done talking and Celestine had curled in on himself once again and started with the quiet growls that he was ready to leave. He scooped up the clothes in his lap with his free hand as he looked to the healer. “I do apologize but I think I should take him back up to his room.” He started as he started to get to his feet carefully. “Thank you for the information and for letting us know about Ellior.” He added before starting to make his way towards the door to head out of the room. Once he had moved out of the room and back to the main entry area where they had first come in he briefly glanced around for Selenity but then thought it would probably be better to just take Celestine back to his room and let Selenity spend some time down here so she could wait and see if Ellior started to improve. With that in mind he wasted little time heading for the exit so that he could start to head back upstairs so that he could give Celestine a break and let him rest.

The healer smiled weakly when she saw Celestine curl up in Kyran's hand and start grumbling. She was not surprised to hear that his voice was just as immature as his form. She looked up when Kyran said that he believed that he should take the boy back up to his room. "Yes, that is what he wants," she confirmed simply. She looked down at the small dragon again and slowly reached over to run her index finger along the soft turfs of fur that ran along his spine. "Thank you for all of your help," she told him softly before she stepped away from him again. She stepped back a little and watched as Kyran started to make his way to the door before she sighed softly and moved to begin cleaning up her mess.

Celestine sighed quietly when Kyran finally caught on and started to stand up. He did want to go back upstairs and get some rest. He looked up at the healer momentarily when she came closer to thank him and let out a quiet grumble of acknowledgement before he settled back down into Kyran's palm once again. He didn't bother to move around very much once Kyran had started moving, partially because he was feeling a little motion sick. His head was still swimming and it was easier to just lay down and rest than it was to keep moving and looking around. He did open his eyes when he noticed that Kyran had stopped to glance around and then slowly raised his head a little. He imagined that Kyran was probably looking for Selenity. He, too, turned his head enough to look at her for a moment. It didn't take much of a glance to notice that she still looked fairly distressed. She was seated right next to Ellior's bed with her hand holding onto his, although Ellior himself seemed none the wiser. He blinked when Selenity turned her head to look at them. For a moment, her face looked almost pleading before she looked away again. He sighed softly and looked up to Kyran before letting out a soft, throaty sound that almost resembled the purr of some small rodent. He shifted positions a little and then looked back toward Selenity before staring up at Kyran again and repeating the sound a little louder, with what almost sounded like a bark following it up. "...I think she wants you to stay...."

Kyran had noticed the look that Selenity had given him just before she turned her focus back to Ellior. He had turned like he was going to leave anyway, which was his intent… at least until he heard Celestine. He hadn’t made out exactly what Celestine had said but the tone was relatively easy to read. He had known too that it looked like Selenity had wanted him to stay… but he didn’t entirely want to. It was one thing to be sitting in here with Nanashi and LaRae and look after Ellior… but to sit in here with Selenity and watch her worrying over him was almost like punishment. Maybe he deserved a little of that now that he was thinking about it. He hadn’t left the infirmary yet but he still looked like he was ready to leave the room considering he was facing the door with his back to the rest of the room. He let out a heavy sigh and lowered his eyes to Celestine for a moment. “…I’d much rather leave…” He all but whispered to him. “…If I stay …you’ll be stuck here too…” He paused. “You know that right…?” He questioned quietly.
