Kyran nodded slightly. He'd rather offer his services up front in a possible time of need, then not offer any help at all. Seeing as she was going to be alright he took a moment, smiled and then climbed to his feet. He wasn't in a rush considering all things, but the sooner they could get started the better. He had intended for them to make it the next forest by tonight, hopefully before it got too dark to see. "Well leave in a little bit. Once you're ready; But don't push yourself on our account."

Aamori sighed heavily, knowing full well that wasn't the whole story. She leaned forward closer to LaRae and pulled her friends hand away from her face looking at the mark on her face. Of course wanting to know what caused it. She set her hand down and then sat back slightly waiting for an answer to that mark, along with more of the story. Though she had the feeling it was going to take a lot more then just staring at LaRae to get her to say anything more then she already had.

LaRae just looked away when Aamori reached over and moved her hand away from her face. She didn't really have an excuse for the bruise, and she wasn't willing to tell the truth about it so she just sat silent staring blankly at the ground. Maybe Aamori would get the hint that she didn't want to talk about it, more so with everyone around.

Hikari smiled to Kyran again and nodded, "Thank you, Kyran..." she said softly. She sighed and closed her eyes for a few moments, only staying on the ground for another couple of minutes before pushing herself to her feet. She kept her eyes closed for just a moment and then opened them again. She didn't listen very well, "We can go now...if you want to get there before night fall the sooner we get moving the better." she said softly. She was still just a little shaky, but she could manage just fine at that.

Nanashi looked at Aamori for a moment and then back to LaRae again. He sighed when she didn't answer, gathering that she didn't want to talk about it apparently. He still didn't really want to say anything but to save LaRae some grief he did. "...She startled me last night when she came up behind me last night and I threw my arm out as I turned around..." he said quietly. He didn't look at Aamori as he spoke, his eyes gave him away too easily. "...Is your...throat sore or something?"

Kyran looked at Hikari when she started to get to her feet and shook his head lightly. He sighed thinking to himself 'Why'd I even open my mouth; She didn't listen...' He shifted a bit and placed his hands into his pockets as he glanced around at everyone for a moment. "Okay guys, you heard the lady." He stated loud enough that everyone could hear him. "We're going to start out now, to the Northern Forest." He paused, making sure to answer the other question that was bound to arise. "Also, we should make it there by night fall as long as we're not dawdling." If anything, talking to them all at once was starting to become a little easier. Though it helped when he had a destination and knew the approximate time it would take to get there. He looked around once more just to see if they were listening to him. He nodded slightly, more so to himself and then started to walk to the tree line. Passing into the tree's and heading for the barren land. He was pretty sure the others would follow or wind up roaming around the forest for awhile for not following right away.

LaRae lifted her eyes and looked over at Nanashi when he said what he did. Her face nearly full of shock just from his attempt to cover up what really happened. She was just about to look back over to Aamori when she heard everything that Kyran said and quickly stumbled getting to her feet and removing herself from the bombardment of silent questions. She didn't say very much, but her hand did rise back up to her cheek for a moment before she moved it and reached for her hair. She pulled it so that it fell across that side of her face, blocking the mark at least a little. She stood for a minute or two watching Kyran start off, and then followed after him keeping a few feet of distance between them.

Aamori quirked a brow hearing the explanation that Nanashi gave for the mark on LaRae's face. She merely shook her head, based on the reaction of her friend after hearing all of that she was pretty sure that what he had said wasn't true. Not to mention she knew LaRae well enough to know something was up. She glanced back over to Nanashi when he asked about her throat; Clearly inquiring about her lack of voice. She stood up and shook her head 'No'. She sighed heavily seeing LaRae flee relatively quickly. She turned on her heel and started to follow after the others who had already left the area.

Nero sighed heavily finally hearing that they were going to head out. He pushed himself off the tree he was leaning against, though he kept his arms crossed in front of his chest and followed the lining of the trees, rather then cut through the opening to follow everyone.

Hikari stood there for a moment and then turned to follow Kyran, keeping close to him. She didn't want to get all turned around in this forest again, though now that it was daylight it was a lot easier to navigate. She kept quiet for a bit and just kept her eyes on the ground so that she didn't trip over anything and fall on her face.

Celestine's ears twitched when he heard Kyran telling them that it was time to go. He stood up and dusted himself off again before moving swiftly from behind the tree and almost silently crossing over to catch up with the others. He didn't say a word to any of them, just looked over to Aamori for a moment and then turned his eyes back to the front.

Nanashi watched as LaRae hurried off and then glanced to Aamori. He sighed quietly and then stood up, knowing that she hadn't bought what he told her about LaRae's face. He blinked when she shook her head that her throat wasn't sore. Maybe she was just trying to be silent for some reason? With her, who knew? He just started to walk after her silently, looking at her back as he moved. Was it just him...or were her eyes darker? He shook his head as he continued walking. It was probably his imagination. He hadn't gotten a good look.

Kyran didn't bother looking back to see if they'd all followed, he figured they did. Though, he did glance down at Hikari noticing her eyes glued to the ground. "Afraid you'll trip?" He asked with a soft chuckle. "Don't worry, I wouldn't let you embarrass yourself completely by falling flat on your face." He continued to walk a pretty good pace until he reached the end of the forest. He stopped, stepping out onto the rocky ground and looking around for a moment. He wasn't entirely sure which side of the forest they had come out on; For once he hadn't been paying proper attention to where he was going. He sighed lightly and pulled his hand from his pocket; He was clearly grasping something flat, and somewhat round. He held out his palm, revealing something that looked like a really old beat up pocket watch; It even had a chain that looked rusted as it connected to his belt loop. He moved the rusted old thing around in his hand until his thumb pressed against a button that made the top pop open. He stared at it for a moment, tapping the glass briefly. By now it was easily seen that he at least remembered to carry a compass with him. Now to just make sure the old thing still worked.

LaRae looked up as soon as they exited the forest. The barren, rocky land was so unappealing to the eyes. She sighed softly and rather quickly moved off to the side of Kyran. Though still keeping a slight distance. It was obvious that the mark on her cheek by far embarrassed her the most. She just wished that it would go away faster; The less people who saw it the better.

Aamori sighed heavily seeing LaRae quickly distance herself yet again. Rather then go and pry into her business like she would if she could talk she just walked off to the opposite side of Kyran and stood staring down at the ground blankly. She could already tell that some had picked up on her sudden lack of speech. Was it really that obvious that she was acting different? Maybe she did really talk too much.

Hikari looked up to him and smiled slightly, "Again." she pointed out, recalling the run back to the festival grounds to get there in time for the meeting. She turned her eyes back ahead of her again and continued to tread carefully. Once they were out of the forest again she looked at Kyran, watching him fiddle with the compass. "Wow...that looks a little old." She commented quietly as she eyed the thing. She was trying to figure out which way was north herself..all of this land looked about the same to her.

Celestine wasn't too far behind Aamori. Once back out in the open he sighed when he feet the ground change beneath his feet. Back to the rocks again. Oh well... He walked ahead a little bit, glancing around silently as the wind picked up, blowing his hair off to the side a ways. He just closed his eyes and took a deep breath. At least they wouldn't get too hot on this little hike.

Nanashi was the last one out of the forest and he sighed as he glanced up. He slowly moved to stand by LaRae, though he kept a little distance between them and turned his eyes back toward the ground again.

Kyran continued to tap at the glass of his compass a few more times until the needle started moving again. Sure the compass was old, but it was reliable. At least Kyran thought so. He glanced over at Hikari when she mentioned how old his compass was; He wasn't about to point out that everything he owned was old, like his wallet for instance. He just smiled softly before shifting his eyes back to the needle. "It was my grandfathers." He said quietly as the needle pointed North. "At least it still works." He then shut the compass and slipped it back into his pants pocket before changing his direction slightly and then proceeded to head for the Northern Forest.

LaRae looked over at Nanashi when he moved closer, though noting the distance too. She sighed softly. "...How are your feet now?" She would have asked him sooner, but Aamori had snagged her attention before she got the chance. Now that she was thinking about it, what was up with Aamori anyway? In a nut shell she was acting nothing like herself, and the fact that she wasn't talking at all bothered her. Though she had the feeling that if she went and asked Aamori why she was acting that way she wouldn't say anything. Well maybe that was for the better, if she didn't ask Aamori then she wouldn't have to answer the questions Aamori had asked her.

Aamori kept her eyes glued to the ground until she heard Kyran start to walk again. Of course she started to follow after him. She continued to keep her eyes pointed anywhere that they weren't easily seen by the others; Considering she was the second short-est person in the group that wasn't going to be too difficult. 'Why did this have to happen at a time like this...' She thought to herself while she walked.

Nero still kept to himself; Keeping a decent distance from the rest of the group which was the way he liked it. Whenever they all stopped, he would too and turn his back to them until they started walking again; Then of course he'd follow behind.

Hikari looked over to him again and smiled. "I see..." she said softly when he said that it had been his grandfathers, "Must be special then." she said quietly as she started after him again. She wasn't sure she really had any mementos from her grandparents, though she did have one of her mother's combs...for all she knew that could have been from her grandmother.

Nanashi looked over to LaRae for a moment and shrugged slightly, "...They're fine... it feels better." he said quietly. He glanced toward Hikari for a moment then looked back to LaRae again, eying her cheek for a moment before looking away again. "...Are your wrists feeling any better?" he asked quietly.

Celestine looked back when Kyran started to move again and then turned to start after him, letting him back in the lead. He fell back a little closer to Aamori, though he didn't bother to look at her or speak to her since he knew she was trying to be quiet and keep her eyes hidden. He could stand her well enough when she wasn't being completely obnoxious. He kind of liked her better this way.

Kyran continued to walk, barely really looking at where he was going. He knew he was headed north, and that was good enough. Specially considering the size of this forest they were heading to. If it was easy to get lost in that medium sized one, then this large one would probably seem like a labyrinth. He'd never been through this forest in it's entirety just because you could get lost inside for days on end. He looked back down at Hikari when she said it must be special. He shook his head slightly. "I don't know if it's really anything special. Just something my grandfather gave to me when I was younger; So I'd never lose my way." He paused smiling lightly. "At least that is what he told me... I like to think it had a deeper meaning then me actually getting lost somewhere." He patted his pocket softly and then played with the rusted old chain that was attached to his pants. "The damn thing surprisingly still works. I've busted the thing several times on accident and then pieced it back together and then it works after tapping on it. I'm starting to think it will outlive me." He said with a soft laugh.

LaRae smiled slightly. "...That's good... At least someone was able to do something about your beaten up feet." She stated half ass-ed making a stab at how he didn't want her worrying over them and yet he didn't make too big a fuss when Hikari forced him down so she could take care of them. She gave a small sigh and looked over at him when he asked about her wrists. "They weren't that bad to begin with, so I imagine they'll be gone soon." She stated looking down at her wrist and moving the cuff slightly. The burn mark was still there, and probably would be for at least another day but at least not they weren't itching as much. Though, she was beginning to have trouble keeping her mind off the burns that no one had seen yet. She also had two small burns on the front of her right ankle; Under her boot of course. The roots had been so tight that she'd received a friction burn on her ankle just from trying to get free. The itching was only becoming more and more noticeable from the leather boot rubbing back and forth against the burn as she walked. She sighed again softly, trying to ignore the other two small burns. The last thing she needed was to say something about it and give him something else to worry about.

Aamori glanced up briefly when Celestine fell back closer to her. She lowered her eyes back to the ground with a slight smile. Given everything that had gone on, she was a bit surprised that he'd been anywhere near any of them; Let alone her. It was a little strange after awhile just how quite she was, she was even starting to get annoyed with herself. She could only stand to talk to herself in her own head for so long before the echo really got to her. She sighed lightly. Aamori had purposely given herself a split personality when her voice and eyes started to change. She wanted to appear as two different people while in the different 'forms' for lack of better words. She wasn't usually the peppy, overly excited, annoying little girl; That was the persona she'd created. Her usual self that had the echoing voice and the darker eyes was a bit more on the serious side. She liked to talk still, but not excessively and she was no where near as obnoxious as her other self; Clearly the more mature of the two. The fact that the two personalities were exact polar opposites helped to protect her identity because she clearly acted different in each form. Whereas if she acted like her usual self in the child-like form she could still be recognized, eventually.

Hikari looked up to him and laughed softly at his comment about the compass outliving him. "...Well...you can always remember him when you look at it. Hopefully you can think of everything that you learned form him. It's a way for him to always be with you." she said softly, "I would call that something special." She let her eyes wander down to the chain as he played with it and then glanced away. "It must mean a lot to you for you to bother fixing it and carry it with you." Her eyes wandered back up to his face and she smiled again. It was a nice thought to her at least.

Nanashi sighed softly at her remark about his feet. "...I didn't get much say..." he pointed out. Hikari literally had all but forced him down, and he wasn't about to make a scene and argue with her. He figured half of this group disliked him enough as it was without him whining and complaining and giving them even more of a reason to. He looked down at her cuffs and nodded, "I'm glad..." he said softly, reaching over with one hand to brush the back of his fingers against it lightly.

Celestine wasn't really paying too much attention to Aamori though he did catch her glance from the corner of his eyes and side glanced at her without turning his head. He didn't know why she was always so surprised when he started talking or got within close proximity of one of them. He realized he was a bit on the anti-social side, but wasn't she the one wanting him to get along with everyone the most? He had to admit that as of right now she was probably the one in the group that he was the most comfortable around, mostly after their little talk last night. Hikari was alright but she was too clingy and physical for him to be able to stand for more than a minute. He really wasn't the huggy, cuddling type. At best you'd get a pat on the shoulder from him when he was trying to be really nice. All he wanted was his privacy respected and he would be just fine on this trip.

Kyran looked back down at Hikari after glancing up to see where he was going; briefly. "I suppose that it does have some sentimental value, not very much though." He paused giving a small sigh. "My grandfather and I weren't very close. He was a bit disappointed in me and the way I was turning out as a child because I never strived for anything. I just went with what ever happened. I guess you could say I was a natural born follower." He laughed slightly then shook his head. "My family was born leaders, at least the men in the family were. So I was the black sheep so to say. My grandfather spent years of his life trying to change me and with no luck at all. Then, he and I started to get close as he started have less and less days on this planet." He smiled softly. "It's strange, how someone dying can bring people closer together."

LaRae nodded slightly. "I know that." She stated remembering the couple times that Hikari had healed her too; She didn't exactly get a say so in the matter either. Both times she'd ended up passed out. The first time she passed out trying to keep herself away from Hikari's healing and the second, well she couldn't help that one. She glanced back down to her wrist when she caught his hand from the corner of her eye. She smiled softly waiting a moment before taking his hand in hers.

Aamori was a little surprised when ever Celestine did anything that meant he was near someone else. She couldn't seem to shake the first impression she had of him from when she talked to him outside his little hut on the festival grounds. He seemed so annoyed with everything and everyone, mostly her though it seemed. She let a small sigh escape her lips as she still stared at the ground. At least he'd been a little more cordial towards her since their talk the previous night. Though she couldn't help thinking that things would be different right now if she hadn't had his dream too. He probably wouldn't be anywhere near her, or anyone else for that matter.

Hikari looked up to him again and nodded slightly. "Yes...well...death can do that...the knowledge that you'll never see that person again makes you want to spend more time with them." She looked away for a moment, glancing ahead. "It's funny...sometimes the same things that bring people together tear people apart as well. It's always hard to tell what will happen." Her eyes turned back to him again and she offered him a smile, "It's pointless to try to make someone what they're not, you can't expect everyone in a family to be just like someone else." She could say that much with confidence, she was nothing like what her father wanted her to be. She raised her hand to place on his arm again, "I think you are doing just fine."

Nanashi smiled slightly and gave her hand a squeeze when he felt her take his. "...Well at least she is helping." he said quietly. He was glad she would rather heal his feet than just whack them off or something harmful. He absently rubbed his fingers along LaRae's as he walked and moved a little closer to her so that his arm wasn't stretched so far to the side.

Celestine really probably wouldn't have been around anyone else today willingly if he hadn't woken up Aamori and talked to her a bit. He really hated having those dreams, and honestly...he was half glad that at least someone knew some of what he'd had to put up with when he was young. At least maybe one of them would at least half understand if he was cold natured toward LaRae...and why he would never stand near her or even speak to her if he could avoid it. He hated the Earth clan, with good reason in his mind...giving her the cold shoulder was being civil to her in his mind.

Kyran sighed softly after listening to her. "I didn't really want to be close to him even when he was dying, unfortunately. He did a lot of things I'm still not happy with to try and change me. Though, now that he is gone I feel bad every now an again for not forgiving him and getting along with him." He paused glancing back down at the rusted old chain he was still playing with. "My father still brings it up once in awhile too, just to stab at me for being so stubborn about it. He says I made my grandfather feel like I was getting along with him because I had to. I can't argue with him, it's the truth." He shifted his glance back over to Hikari and smiled softly. "Believe it or not my father is still trying to change me; He says that the day I finally change my ways is the day my grandfather will finally find peace." He smiled softly hearing her say he was doing fine. "I suppose my father would be happy to hear that.."

LaRae smiled slightly. "Well what did you expect her to do? Hurt you?" She laughed softly. "If you've done nothing wrong to her, I really don't see her hurting you... Or anyone else for that matter. She seems nice enough." She thought a bit differently about Hikari now, rather then the first time she met her. She definitely went up a notch in her mind considering she'd healed a completely unconscious stranger just because she was asked to. Then it went up again when she healed her wings like she did; LaRae couldn't help but feel a little in debt to Hikari for all she'd done for her. For now the least she could do was not be so uncomfortable around her and just accept her help without arguing like she did the first time.

Aamori couldn't help but dwell on the nightmare she'd been forced to share with Celestine last night. She was bound to think more about it sooner or later since she wasn't talking to anyone. The more she started to remember of it the colder she felt, which sent shivers down her spine. She bit her bottom lip and brought her arms up and crossed them in front of her chest. Her hands wrapped slightly around her upper arms, she couldn't believe that stuff like that actually happened. At least she was under the impression it really happened. Considering the way she was raised, she was oblivious to such things.

Hikari sighed softly and shook her head. "I think your father should be proud enough that he had a decent young man for a son rather than a complete hoodlum." She gave him a weak half smile as she lowered her hand back to her side, "But trust me...I know how parents can be." she rolled her eyes a little, "Especially on the oldest." She just laughed weakly, "Though I have a feeling that he's starting to realize it's a losing battle."

Nanashi laughed weakly (which amounted to about a "heh"), "No...of course not." he said quietly, "I just...didn't really expect she would want to...touch my feet." he said simply, "Or waste her energy..." He glanced away from LaRae for a moment and then turned his eyes back to her again, "She is nice..." he agreed, "...I guess...there are a few more out there than I thought." LaRae and Hikari were nice to him enough...he felt welcome around them. Kyran he knew was trying to be nice...he guessed...at least he was civil. The others ignored him for the most part. Aamori he was pretty sure only spoke to him when he spoke to her first...which was only when LaRae was around.

Celestine glanced over to Aamori when he saw her arms move from the corner of his eye. He tilted his head slightly and gave her an inquiring look as if asking her if she was cold. He doubted that she was...it was fairly warm right now aside from the breeze, but even that felt nice with the sun on them. Then again he guessed he was wearing more than she was. "...Cold?" he asked, giving her a nice simple yes or no question that she could nod to. He wasn't quite sure why he bothered asking...he didn't have anything to hand her but she shirt on his back, and he wasn't about to take that off.

Kyran laughed softly. "I doubt my father even realises I'm 'decent' he's far too preoccupied with what he considers flaws in me to notice anything else. Though, I have no doubt he loves me regardless. He just wishes I was more like him and my grandfather." He had finally stopped messing with the chain to his compass and slipped his hand back into his pocket. "...I take it your parents act somewhat the same way?" He questioned glancing down at her. "...And I think most parents realize at some point in time they can't change who their children are. I just hope that time comes soon for my father."

LaRae shook her head softly avoiding a small chuckle. "I'm pretty sure that she's been able to heal people for awhile, so I doubt she's afraid to touch someone's feet. Especially if they are in need of medical treatment." She looked over at him smiling a little. "Nice people you mean?" She paused. "Of course there are; Not everyone is like that Dark Clan dragon from the festival. Though, I am a little surprised that there are so many open minded and considerate people in our little group." Of course she thought only two in the group had sour attitudes about everything, those two being Nero and Celestine. She sighed slightly her mind trailing off to how rude Nero could be, towards her at least. It was a good thing that she'd yet to be left alone with him anywhere; She had a feeling that wouldn't turn out well. Celestine on the other hand she didn't exactly have any impression about him other then he seemed rather cold and distant; Though he appeared to be warming up to Aamori at least. So maybe he couldn't be all that bad, like Nero.

Aamori's ears twitched a couple times not expecting him to say anything to her. She glanced over at him, lifting her eyes from the ground. Considering everyone else seemed busy chatting she wasn't as afraid of looking up at the moment. Her dark blue eyes held the same distraught look as the night before and she sighed softly. "...No" She said quietly, nearly in a whisper. Even just that little whisper let the echo escape from her thoughts, and she felt like the bouncing around in her mind had finally stopped; For now at least. She sighed again and then lowered her eyes back down to the ground; If she hadn't needed to keep her voice hidden she probably would've inquired about the dream.

Hikari smiled slightly, "I hope so, too..." she said softly, "And yes...My father at least. I'm not proper and ladylike enough for him. He tries his best to turn me into my mother's....clone." she said simply, "...Though I have a feeling soon he is going to start on my sister. She's a lot younger than I am, so I have a feeling it would be easier." Her father hadn't always been so concerned with the way that she acted but after their mother was killed, he'd started comparing everything that she did to things that her mother would or wouldn't have done. It really drove her insane... she realized that he missed her, but he didn't seem to realize that she missed her, too... but that didn't mean that she wanted to be her.

Nanashi smiled weakly, "Yeah...I guess so." he agreed easily to both statements. I guess I usually only run into the grouchy ones...or they run into me, rather." That had been the case at the festival at least. He looked back down to the ground and closed his eyes for a second. It did strike him as odd that the majority of this group was so open minded. Almost everyone seemed to get along...he guessed that Nero, Celestine and...himself were probably the hardest ones to get along with. He knew he was difficult just because he seldom spoke to anyone other than LaRae. He also had a habit of taking everything the wrong way, or so he gathered after last night's conversation with Kyran. He just wasn't very trusting of most people unless they gave him a very good reason.

Celestine nodded slightly to her answer and sighed softly, noticing the look in her eyes. He recognized it from the night before and shook his head. He looked away again when she did and turned his eyes to the ground. "Stop worrying about it..." he thought, this time actually trying to make her hear him. He usually could manage that well enough, the only problem was, he wasn't all that great at channeling his thoughts to one particular person. He knew that, however, he didn't think the others could hear him since no one had picked up on it before when he didn't mean to transmit his thoughts. besides most were preoccupied anyway.

Nanashi blinked when he heard a soft voice that sounded...a lot like Celestine. He turned his head to look back at him and raised an eyebrow. He didn't look like he was talking to anyone at all, but he was pretty sure that he'd heard something. He looked back to LaRae. "...Did you...hear something?"

Kyran sighed slightly. Why was it that all parents had to try and change their child into someone who already existed? He looked back down at her and quirked a brow, wondering why he never picked up on it before. "You've got a younger sister too?" He questioned rather then pry too much into the whole ladylike thing. Though he would listen if she felt like talking about it.

LaRae looked over at him as he looked down at the ground. She gave his hand a slight squeeze before looking away again. "I have had my fair share of running into the grouchy ones; Perhaps not nearly as much as you. But I still find my fair share, though I think that's only because at first glance you can't see my horns." She paused, laughing softly. "If you can even call these stumps on my forehead horns..." As she said that she'd lifted her free hand up to her forehead and brushed her bangs up to reveal the tiny bumps for horns that were no more then an inch long. She quirked a brow and looked over at Nanashi with her hand still holding up her hair. "Did I hear something?" She paused, her ears twitching slightly. "...Nothing more then myself talking... why?"

Aamori's eyes widened slightly when she heard Celestine's voice from what appeared to be inside her head; Much like the first time she'd heard him make the comment about her annoying or something. She was quite surprised that he knew what she was thinking about, could he tell that just by looking at her? She sighed heavily and lifted her head back up looking at him and stating bluntly "I can't" After the words fell from her mouth, in her usual tone of voice her face went red from embarrassment realising that anyone could have heard the echo and she lowered her head; Her eyes darting off to the side. She couldn't believe she slipped. They had walked all this time and she'd been able to stay quiet but her mind was else where, thinking hard enough to make her forget not to talk. She only hoped that not everyone picked up on it.

Hikari beamed when he asked about her sister; that was enough to completely get her sidetracked. "Yes! Her name is Sri, she's only seven years old, and she is so adorable!" she spun around so that she was walking backwards and had moved just a bit ahead of Kyran, "She got father's horns, but the rest of her looks just like mother when she was her age. She's really shy, so whenever she talks to someone else she talks in this cute little mumble," she gushed. By then it was a little obvious that she loved her little sister to death. "Whenever I'm home she follows me around everywhere like a little baby chick, it's so cute watching he--whoa!" she stumbled over a rock and started to fall over backwards. She was paying too much attention to what she was talking about and not enough to where she was going.

Nanashi shook his head when he looked back to her, smiling weakly since he'd missed part of what she was saying before. "...Um...nothing...I guess I was hearing things." He looked at her forehead and raised one hand to touch the tip of one of her horns. "...Even at that, I would still love to have them." he said with a weak laugh as he lowered his hand again. He was probably never going to accept himself for what he was...he had a feeling he was going to wish that he was either one of the other until his dying day.

Celestine made a face when she spoke out loud and looked back to her, catching her expression. He realized he'd probably surprised her. He'd also thought he'd heard Nanashi say something about hearing something before that...he just hoped he hadn't meant his voice. He looked at Aamori this time, concentrating harder on speaking only to her. "Sorry..." he kept that part simple, "You don't have to speak, just...try thinking. I've never tried before...but if I can send thoughts I would think I can hear them too...if I try." He sighed and closed his eyes again for a moment and then looked back to her, not paying attention to the others around him. He was literally concentrating everything on Aamori and where his feet were going.

Kyran merely smiled a bit when she started to go on and on about her own little sister. It was obvious just how close they must be considering how she talked about her. His eyes widened slightly as he caught her stumbling back over the rock. He moved forward closer to her rather quickly grabbing her arm with one hand and then slipping his other behind her shoulders to keep her from falling. He looked down at her with a smirk on his face; He hadn't helped her back onto her feet just yet, he still held her mid-fall. "You can't seem to keep your feet planted firmly on the ground around me..." He chuckled softly looking at her for a moment longer before pulling her back up to her feet.

LaRae watched as his hand went to her forehead, causing her to go cross-eyed until he moved his hand away. She blinked a few times and let her bangs fall back over her horns as she lowered her hand back to her side. "If I could give them to you, I would. They're so unnoticeable on me that it's like not having any to begin with." She stated with a small sigh.

Aamori lifted her eyes slightly, only enough so that she could peek over at Celestine with a quirked brow after hearing, again, what he thought. She lowered her eyes again, though a little unsure of how this was supposed to work. She wasn't sure she'd be able to only think of what she wanted to say and not everything that was on her mind. And how strange was it that he might actually be able to hear her own thoughts? Weren't thoughts supposed to be private? She sighed softly figuring she'd just give it a try, though now she wasn't exactly sure what she wanted to say. '...I can't stop thinking about that dream you had...' She paused, her tail starting to sway behind her from curiosity. 'Can you even hear me?' She let her eyes travel back up momentarily to look at him again. She sighed and continued on thinking without really paying attention to herself. 'I can't stop thinking about this damn echo either... It doesn't even stop in my head!' He couldn't see her face at this point because it was tilted down but she had made a sour face to go along with that last thought. 'Water Elders do a lot of talking, the echo is annoying no matter how short the speech is... So why in the great world of Areinh do we have this damn echo!' Of course by this point her thoughts weren't on the original topic of discussion and that was only because she had a tendency to think of many things at once. Pretty soon she'd probably have another series of completely random thoughts appear.

Hikari opened her eyes again (she'd closed them when she thought she was about to hit the ground) and blinked as she looked up to Kyran. She blushed when he didn't immediately put her back on her feet and commented. Her blush deepened a little more when he just held her thee looking at her. Once she was upright again she immediately went to straightening her clothes nervously. "Haha... Maybe that is because I'm always looking up." she teased playfully. She wasn't looking up right this minute...her eyes were glued to the ground in embarrassment.

Nanashi smiled weakly to her and raised his hands again, gently pushing her hair aside. "...If you let your bangs grow out enough to tuck behind your ear..." he said softly, "...then you could see." He pulled his hand back again and watched as her bangs fell back into place again. He just chucked softly. "Or maybe a hair piece."

Celestine listened hard to what she was thinking to him, trying his best to keep focused. He could hear her just fine, though she sounded a little further away then what she was. "Yes." he thought back to her simply when she asked if he could hear her. He furrowed his brow then, trying to pick up on what she was going on about, though he caught back at 'water elders' and immediately go sidetracked wondering why the heck she was talking about them. It wasn't until he started paying attention again and caught onto 'we have this damn echo.' It clicked them and he looked up at bit surprised. He narrowed his eyes a little. "...You don't need to worry about my dreams... They are dreams...nothing more. That was...a long time ago." he thought to her again, careful to keep focused. He wanted to mention what else he'd heard but he was half afraid that he may slip, and he didn't want to give it away that easily. Besides...she seemed pretty resolved not to let him know. He didn't want her going off on him for picking up on it because she couldn't think straight. He may ask her later when he caught her alone somewhere but for how...he would do as he promised and keep quiet.

Kyran stood watching her adjusting her clothes for a moment before he started to walk again. He chuckled softly, walking at a slower pace then usual. "Where your eyes are have nothing to do with where you place your feet, let alone you should know better then to walk backwards in this territory." He commented, jokingly of course. He paused a couple feet away from her and smiled back over his shoulder. "Might I add that you shouldn't stand there too long, the others will catch up to you and inquire about what happened." Of course again, he was teasing. After seeing her blush, and then her sudden burst of embarrassment he couldn't resist.

LaRae's eyes went cross-eyed again slightly when he went to move her bangs from her face. Once they fell back into place her eyes moved off to the side as she stared at the ground. "...I think I'd rather keep my hair the way it is..." She paused. "Either way I still get ridiculed. If it isn't because I'm mistaken for a dragon half, it's because of my poor excuse horns." She sighed lightly. "...And if I had to chose which I'd rather deal with, it'd have to be being mistaken. At least with that, I can fight back..." If it wasn't obvious by now the fact that her horns were so small was a bit embarrassing. Not to mention growing up she was always the end of every kid's joke, just because her horns didn't appear to grow any further.

Aamori continued on for a while longer with different thoughts before they were interrupted by him. She sighed softly. 'That is easier said then done... I'm sorry to say that nightmares for me don't go away on demand... regardless of who's they are...' Unfortunately she had a nasty habit of having reoccurring dreams, though the most she ever recalled were nightmares. Which explained why she'd awoken in a cold sweat and been so uneasy last night after sharing his dream. Of course, rather quickly her mind was off on another thought completely irrelevant to their topic. '...Hmm... I wonder what was up with LaRae earlier... She had a bruise on her face and Nanashi tried to lie to cover it up... But why?'

Hikari looked up again as she turned around and hurried to catch up with him. "Ooh..." she made a face and them jabbed him in the side with her elbow, though not really hard enough to hurt him. She then just smiled as the color started to fade from her cheeks and glanced away. "You are so infuriating." she said simply, though she was still smiling even as she said it.

"Hmm... The satisfaction of proving them wrong." He smiled slightly and glanced back over to her again. "...I think they're cute...and they wouldn't get in your way as badly as the lager ones." he said simply. He laughed softly, "Actually...the way they are placed I think you might look funny in the were any larger." He was trying to make her feel better about them clearly, but he didn't lie. He really did think they were cute just the way they were.

Celestine furrowed his brow again as he tried to listen to what she was saying. He was already starting to get a headache. "...Then..I am sorry... Like I said, I have no control over it when I am sleeping." he thought and then shook his head as he heard her mind wander again, "Aamori...can you...concentrate a little? You're thinking too much, I've probably already heard more than you want." He looked over to her again with a meaningful look, "I can't help what I hear when we're connected like this, so you need to...be careful." He turned his eyes away again and absently raised his hand to his head, rubbing his temples. "I don't particularly care about what happened to her, it's not my business."

Kyran looked down at her when she caught up to him. Then when she hit him in the side with her elbow he stumbled away to the side slightly; Catching himself easily and moving back over to her. He smiled softly as he heard her say he was infuriating. Well that was definitely a first, even if she was smiling the whole time. He glanced down at her for a moment before looking away. "...And you're a little clumsy." He commented again, jokingly. "But, I did say I wouldn't let you fall flat on your face; So I guess you can be as clumsy as you want. I'll still catch you."

LaRae did quite enjoy the few times that she got to prove someone wrong about herself. The looks on their faces were priceless as soon as she started using magic. Thinking about it only made her smile a bit more. Her ears perked up a little when she heard him say they were cute. That was the first time she'd every heard anything good about the stupid things, she wasn't exactly sure how to react to it. She smiled softly, her cheeks had a light pink hue to them; She turned her head away from him. "...They're supposed to be larger. If they hadn't been..." She trailed off a bit, having a bad memory resurface after so many years. She skipped over the end of that thought and continued with the next one. "...If they had grown the way they were supposed to, they'd be thinner then most other horns and stick very close to my head, and curl back towards the back of my skull. Horns that grow like that in my Clan are few, so the ones who have them stick out like a sore thumb."

Aamori sighed heavily after hearing him think that she was thinking too much. She hadn't really realised, it was a natural habit for her to be thinking of several things at once for focusing only on what she wanted him to hear was a lot easier said then done. 'I don't mean to, it just kind of happens...' She just happened to look up and catch him rubbing his temples before her eyes shot back down to the ground. 'Are you alright Celestine?' She asked slightly concerned. '...We can talk more later, when it's safer for me to actually speak...' She added lastly, finally bringing her arms back down to her sides.

Hikari just giggled quietly and shook her head. "And I suppose you can be as infuriating as you want and I'll still like you." she said simply. She looked back to him and smiled again before lightly pushing his arm, though this time it wasn't even hard enough to made him budge. She knew she was clumsy, she fell all over herself a lot. "So...you said 'too' before, I guess that means you have a sister as well? Tell me about her."

Nanashi looked back over to her again and tilted his head to the side when she stopped her sentence, but he remained silent for a moment as she finished. "...May I ask...why your did not??" he asked softly, "If you would rather not answer that's alright...I understand." he said quickly. He didn't want to make her feel like she had to talk about it. There were always things that people would rather not tell...if that was one he could see why.

Celestine furrowed his brow a little more, struggling not to listen to what she was saying. All he could gather between the throbbing pains in his head was 'don't mean to..........alright.....talk...later......safer... speak...' He shook his head, trying to make sense of that. "Yes...I...think... I...." he tried to think back to her, but he couldn't keep his own thought straight. All he'd meant to think was 'yes, I think I'll have to' but before he could finish the thought his mind went blank and his eyes closed as he collapsed all at once. Trying to manage what he was doing took year and years of practice, and he had not really had much at all, though he was doing quite well at it. Without being used it it, however, the attempt just put a little too much strain on his mind.

Kyran smiled. "You know, if you asked me to stop; I would." He pointed out before thinking a little about his sister. He'd nearly forgotten he said 'too' Which clearly said he had a little sister. He sighed softly. "Yes, I've got a little sister. She's no where near as young as your's though. She's sixteen, or rather she just turned sixteen." He paused trying to think of good things to say about her, though very little came to mind right away. "Her name is Minako, and well... She's everything that my family wished I was. I think the 'leader' gene skipped a generation." He laughed softly. "She's a bit annoying at times, but she's a good kid." He could have continued on to explain all the things about his sister that bothered him, but that wasn't really important. Not to mention he was sure that his sister would show up somewhere while they were still in this territory.

LaRae continued to walk, keeping quiet for a few moments longer while she sorted through everything. She didn't really have a problem talking about what had happened to her, just to explain it; But it'd been so long since she'd said anything about it to anyone that just thinking about it stung a little worse then normal. She sighed softly and looked over at him timidly. "...When I was younger, just a couple years after I was adopted I got into some trouble with some kids my age..." She paused, now remembering where her fear of bindings came from. Her eyes widened slightly and she looked away before continuing on, skipping over the in between details. "...They broke my horns, busted them at the worst spot and they wouldn't grow properly again. So then they had to be shaped the way they are so they at least looked a little better."

Aamori started to lift her eyes again when she noticed that his thoughts to her had been less straight forward and had more gaps then usual. She managed to lift her eyes completely and look over at him just in time to see him collapse to the ground. "...Celestine!" She immediately stopped walking and rushed over to him, kneeling down beside him. She just looked at him for a moment before moving to roll him over gently onto his back and in the same motion moved herself so that she could rest his head in her lap. "Celestine.. Are you alright?" She asked, ignoring the echo of her voice. Her tone showed how concerned she was, but she tried to keep her wits about her and not go freaking out.
