Nanashi took a deep breath when the aroma from the kitchen wafted into the area where he was sitting. The smell alone was enough to make his mouth water so much that he had to swallow. He glanced over to Minako when she sat down and spoke to him then looked away shyly. "...Yes... I'm sorry..." he said quietly. He shifted positions and leaned back against the back of the chair, crossing his arms over his chest, though he still looked pretty stiff. He really wasn't used to being invited into other people's houses, so he wasn't too sure what to do other than sit there. He looked almost like he was trying to impress someone with his posture or something, or had. Now he looked like he was just trying to go through the motions of being relaxed.

Celestine watched as Aamori walked off then sighed slightly. "Alright." he agreed easily enough. Hey, if he didn't need to go in, he saw no point in it. He stood still until she was inside again and then walked toward the house. He removed his swallow from over his shoulder and held it in his hand as he opened his wings. He stretched them for a moment before flapping them hard to lift himself off the ground and onto the roof. He touched down lightly and immediately folded his wings again behind his back and started to walk over to the middle of the roof. He sat down, laying his swallow out beside him and then stretched out on his back, drawing one leg up as he stared up at the darkening sky. As far as he knew he was the only one left outside, so he just reached into his pack and slipped out his flute, closing his eyes. He had nothing better to do right now than relax so he jsut started to play one of those soft, soothing melodies that he loved so much.

Minako glanced over at the door when she heard it open again and smiled lightly seeing the water dragon standing there. She didn't stay in her seat long after that; She rather quickly was on her feet and walking over to the other girl. She stopped a little in front of her and smiled again. "Hi there." She paused. "My names Minako; I'm Kyran's little sister." She looked over the girl for a moment and sighed lightly. "You don't look so well, do you need a place to sleep?" She asked quietly then waited for an answer. There weren't very many rooms left that she could offer, sadly. Only her room with a single bed and then the room her parents used to stay in. That room inparticualr had been empty now for awhile, no one ever used it. She'd taken it upon herself to try and leave it the way it was, but she quite often found herself in there cleaning up and removing pictures and personal items. Half of her wanted to leave it the way it was, and the other wanted to change it. So she met somewhere in the middle. Most personal items had been removed and set away in a closet, but she did leave a lot of the decorations that her parents had chosen for the room. So anyone who went inside would probably only think of it as a nicely put together guest room.

Aamori watched as the girl came up to her and introduced herself. She smiled weakly. "I'm Aamori." She said simply, trying not to say too much because her voice was still echoing. When she was asked if she needed somewhere to sleep she started to shake her head no, but stopped. "...A bathroom maybe... with a tub?" She asked quietly averting her dark blue eyes. She wasn't exactly tired, a little worn out perhaps but by no means tired enough to go to sleep. She stared down at the floor while waiting for Minako to answer.

"Oh, of course!" She said pointing up the stairs. "There's a nice sized tub in the bathroom at the end of the hallway. The very last door." She tilted her head to the side slightly wondering why Aamori wouldn't look at her; Then she was also curious why her voice sounded like that. It was a little weird. She watched as Aamori nodded softly and headed straight for the stairs and quickly disappeared from sight. She gave a soft sigh and walked back over to her seat. She sat down and looked over at Nanashi for a moment. "Ya' know... You don't have to apologize for something like that." In all actuality she thought it was a little weird to apologize for the way you were sitting, or not relaxing for that matter.

Aamori wasted no time at all getting up the stairs once she was told where to go. Once at the top she stopped for a moment and gave a heavy sigh. She glanced down the hall noticing only five doors. Two on the right, two on the left, the one at the very end and off to the side a set of stairs that lead up to the roof. She headed down the hall to the last door and knocked on it lightly; Having not heard anything she entered the room and shut the door behind her. Her eyes scanned the room; It looked like a normal bathroom for the most part. That is until you looked at the size of the tub. They spared no expense on that; Though her loving water she could completely understand why. She walked closer, and leaned against it; Reaching over to the faucet and turning on the water. Now that she was next to the tub she felt so small in comparison. Clearly the tub was large enough for two at least. She smiled softly and waited for the tub to fill with water before reaching across again and turning the water off. She sat there for a moment before reaching down to her calves and beginning to unlace her sandals, then slip them off. She then reached for her hollister and unbuckled it from her thigh and set it down, staff and all next to her sandals. Then she stepped into the water and stepped across the tub over to the far side and lifted up the window a small crack to let the air into the room. She didn't bother getting undressed any further; She wasn't in the water for bathing reasons, so she'd just have to let her clothes dry when she was finished. She gave a soft sigh and submerged herself in the water. Moments later she lifted her head from the water and leaned back against the side to relax.

LaRae by this time had finished cooking and had started to rummage around in the kitchen for some bowls and utensils. It didn't take her too long to find everything. There wasn't enough place settings for eight, so she pulled out the four they did have and set them down next to the pot. She smiled slightly, rather proud of herself. It did smell wonderful but she was incredibly hungry and didn't want to wait any longer then she already had. She began filling a couple bowls for the chowder that she had made. Since she only knew of herself, Nanashi and Minako being in the house [and awake] She filled three bowls and set a fork in each one. She picked up two of the bowls; One in each hand and then stared at the last bowl for a moment before reaching for it with her tail. She wrapped her tail around it snugly, then proceeded to head over to where the others were. She walked extremely slowly, trying not to spill any of the bowls. When she finally walked into the room she crept over to Nanashi and handed him a bowl from her hand and then moved over to Minako and handed her the other bowl in her hand. She sighed lightly and then reached for the last bowl her tail was carrying. She impressed herself after not spilling anything. She took her bowl and then sat down slowly on the floor off to the side and then proceeded to eat.

Nanashi glanced over to Aamori when she came inside, easily noticing the echo back in her voice. He tilted his head slightly at her when she said that she wanted a bath tub. That was an odd place to sleep, but then he guessed that Aamori probably just missed the water. He glanced away again once she headed for the stairs and then glanced up to Minako again when she sat down and spoke again. His ears laid back slightly, and he looked a little embarrassed. "...Sorry." he said quietly again. He just had a habit of apologizing for everything. When LaRae came in carrying the bowl he blinked when she held it in front of him and hesitated, glancing up at her unsurely before reaching up to take it and sitting up straight. "...Thank you." he said quietly. He looked at the food for a moment and then slowly took the spoon in his hand and started to eat. He hadn't been readily offered that much food in quite a while, so he seemed as if he didn't know what to make of it. His slow pace of eating didn't last more than two bites before he was eating a bit faster, though he was conscious not to eat so fast that he made himself sick.

Celestine closed his eyes as he continued to play the flute. The music filled the night with a sweet melody that carried off the roof. Now that the window was open, Aamori could probably hear it as well if she was paying any attention. Celestine at least was completely relaxed for once. He was enjoying the gentle breeze that blew through the area as well.

Minako looked at LaRae when she handed her the bowl. Of course she took it right away considering that LaRae was still carrying the other bowl with her tail. She wasn't entirely all that hungry but the food did smell delicious, and it'd be rude not to at least eat a little. She smiled softly. "Thank you very much." She said quietly as she started to eat. After the first couple bites she couldn't help but look back to LaRae who'd now been seated on the floor. "Watching you cook this, I didn't think it would taste this good." She smiled and went back to eating. She surprised herself by finishing off most of the bowl rather quickly. She merely shook her head softly when she looked down at the bowl and noticed it was empty. Apparently she was hungrier then she thought; Or she just couldn't keep herself from eating until it was gone.

LaRae stopped eating for a moment and left her spoon hanging from her mouth while she spoke. "You're both welcome." She said simply before she started to eat again. Though she stopped again when Minako spoke. "...You'd be surprised what can taste good, and look like crap." She laughed softly; Knowing well enough that she'd cooked a few things that looked unappetizing, until she actually ate it. She turned back to her bowl and finally finished it off. She set the spoon down and looked over at Minako noticing that she was finished as well. She climbed back to her feet and moved over to Minako taking her bowl from her and setting it on top of her own. She started to walk back to the kitchen and as she passed by Nanashi she smiled softly and looked at him. "I made plenty, so you can have more if you're still hungry." She continued on back into the kitchen where she stopped at the sink and started to rinse out the bowls she had in her hands.

Aamori had shut her eyes when she started to relax; Though they cracked open when her ears twitched at the sounds of Celestine's flute. She smiled softly and shut her eyes again; Apparently she was going to get soothing music while she rested in the water. After a few minutes of her just laying there in the water her body started to float up slightly. Then the water started to do something strange; It started to glow a bright blue color. Practically the same color as her scales. In all actuality it was really her body that had started to glow and the water reflected it. Since she hadn't turned the light on in the bathroom and the sun had started to fall the bathroom would have been pitch black, except for her glowing in the water. The room and out the window's crack was instantly lit by pale blue light and the reflection of rippling water. To her, this was normal. At least she thought it was normal, though not every water dragon did what she was doing. This process might take awhile, but considering she was near a water source she wanted to take advantage of it. She was slowly using the water to help restore some of the energy that she'd lost earlier in the day. By using a very spare amount of magic she could turn her own body into a purifier that could turn the water into the 'special' water that came from fountains in her territory. Which could help restore some energy. It wouldn't be able to do it completely because this water wasn't originally 'special' but it would at least get her enough to change her voice and eye color back. She sighed softly and opened her eyes slightly to look at the reflections of the water shining on the ceiling.

Nero scoffed hearing the flute coming from off the roof. Most people might have liked the music, but it only annoyed him; Just as Aamori's singing had days prior. He grumbled slightly and pushed himself off the side of house and just started walking away. At this point he really hated that this territory was nothing but barren land because there was no where for him to go, but somewhere on the flat land. He sighed heavily and just continued to walk until he was out of ear shot of the flute's melody and then plopped down on the ground with his back to the house. He grumbled again and then finally just laid down on the ground like he usually did. He laid on his side, holding his head up with one arm and then resting his other hand on his hip; Followed by his tail which draped over the side of his leg.

Nanashi continued to eat until his bowl was empty. He glanced up to LaRae again as she passed him and smiled slightly. He really couldn't eat very much, his stomach had shrunk too much. One bowl was almost more than he could finish. "...I'm fine..." he said softly. He stood and started into the kitchen as well, taking her the empty bowl. "...I can wash the dishes if you want.' he offered quietly. He felt bad having her do all of the cooking as well as the cleaning. He smiled at her again and glanced away. "...Thank you...it was really good." he said in that same soft voice. He was just grateful to have food handed to him without having to hunt it down or scavenge for it himself. There was a pretty good reason that he was so skinny.

Celestine played through the same melody twice before he sighed and lowered his arms to his sides. He opened his eyes again and stared up at the stars. He was pretty hungry himself by now, but he still had the rest of the bread that he hadn't eaten in his pack. He laid down the flute and reached in, snagging the clock that the bread was tied up in. He sat up and sighed, laying the bundle in his lap as he untied it. Surprisingly, the bread was hardly even squished. He picked up one of the little cream puffs and ate it, then started on a croissant. His eyes just happened to wonder to the ground and he blinked when he saw the blue light on the ground below him. He tilted his head slightly and moved closer to the edge with the croissant hanging from his teeth. He stared at the ground for a moment and then looked down to the window below him. He knew it had to be Aamori down there, she was the only one with a blue aura. He took the croissant out of his mouth and leaned over the edge of the roof. "...What are you doing?" he asked, wondering why she was using more energy if she was already exhausted.

LaRae glanced over at him and smiled softly when he offered to do the dishes for her. She shook her head gently. "Don't worry about it; I'm used to cleaning up after having cooked something." She turned her attention back to the bowls she was cleaning; Once she finished them she set them down in the strainer next to the sink so that they could dry. She turned briefly towards him to take his bowl from him then started cleaning it also. "...I'm glad it tasted alright." She said quietly as she finished with the bowl and set it in the strainer. She moved slightly, over to the stove to snatch the frying pan that she used to cook with and then stepped back over to the sink to start washing it out.

Minako started to get up and head to the kitchen but stopped after looking in at LaRae and Nanashi. She smiled softly then turned and headed for the stairs. Once she reached the top she passed by the guest room and stopped at her brothers bedroom door. She gently pressed her ear against it and listened for a moment. After not hearing anything she quietly pushed the door open and stepped it, shutting the door a crack behind her. She walked over to the side of his bed and sighed softly placing her hand gently to the cloth on his head. It wasn't cold or wet any longer. She sighed and picked it up then walked over to the bowl and soaked it again; Making sure to wring it out slightly before returning it to her brother's head. She backed away a few steps and just stood there watching him for a few minutes. He didn't move very much, though he did briefly open his eyes when he felt her put the cloth back on his head. His eyes shut rather quickly and he fell back asleep. She gave a soft sigh and proceeded out of his room; Shutting the door quietly behind her.

Aamori had relaxed so much that she probably could have fallen asleep easily. She hadn't even noticed that Celestine had stopped playing his flute. She gave soft sigh and started to shut her eyes again. She was startled when she heard Celestine's voice and she shot up in the water making a loud splashing noise as she slipped around the bottom of the tub. Of course now that her concentration was broken the glowing light faded and she was in the dark again. Once she got steady she braced herself against the edge of the tub and then slid over to the window and pushed it open a little bit more. She stood up; dripping wet of course and leaned out the window. First she looked down at the ground; Seeing nothing she though to look up and sighed softly seeing Celestine leaning over the edge. "...I was trying to restore some energy..." She half muttered.

Nanashi watched as LaRae took his bowl and cleaned it and then went to get the pan. He smiled weakly. "...I really liked it. Thank you... I was getting pretty hungry." he said quietly. He'd actually been starting to get really light headed at times as well, but he hadn't bothered to say anything. After all no one else had any food, either. He stood there quietly, watching her clean for a moment before shifting back out of her way. He glanced into the living room again and shook his head when he saw that Minako was gone. After a moment he turned to look back to LaRae again, tilting his head slightly. "...Should we tell the others that you made something to eat?" he asked quietly. Even around LaRae he seemed a little more timid indoors.

Celestine blinked when he saw her poke her head out the window and chuckled softly at the look of her. "I see... I recognized your aura, but I didn't know what in the world you were doing." he pointed to the ground where the light had been, "It was reflecting into the yard." he said simply. He pulled his arm back and propped it under him again. "Well then...are you feeling any better now that you've been drenched?"

LaRae finished off the frying pan quickly and set it aside. She smiled softly; She wasn't used to hearing that the food she cooked was good; Or liked. Usually the end of a meal back home was full of nothing but complaints. "...I'm glad you liked it... Maybe in the morning I can make something for breakfast." She paused for a moment. "...Since we're going to be here for a couple days." She said quietly before finally turning to look at him. "...As for the others, I think most of them might be asleep. Though I wouldn't worry, what I cooked can be easily reheated and it will taste just fine." She glanced over at the pot; Now that she was thinking about it and placed the lid over top of it. She nodded softly then turned back to Nanashi. "Unfortunately..." She paused giving a heavy sigh. "I'm going to need my bandages tightened... or something. They're pretty loose.." She mumbled half upset with herself for even admitting that they were loose. Though she was almost certain that he'd be able to tell. Other then that the only thing she was now looking forward to was perhaps a bed to sleep in. Though, she'd wait for Minako to return to ask if there was another bed available.

Minako lingered outside of her brothers door for a few more minutes, half debating just walking to her room and going to bed herself. She decided against that considering that LaRae and Nanashi were still down stairs. She turned and headed back down the stairs and over towards the kitchen; Stopping just in the door way. "Hey guys." She said quietly lifting her hand to block out a yawn. "I'm beat, so I'm going to head up stairs and go to bed. You two are more then welcome to use the last room if you like; It's got a double bed. It's the second door on the left." She said before lifting her hand again to block yet another yawn. She hadn't realized until after she'd eaten just how tired she was. She smiled softly and turned; Starting to head back towards the stairs to go to her room. "...Good Night." She then continued up the stairs and into her room. She shut the door behind her of course then got ready for bed; Then climbed in and rather quickly fell asleep.

Aamori had continued to look up at him and quickly started to get a crook in her neck. She gave a heavy sigh and started to climb out of the window and up onto the roof where he was. Believe it or not she was pretty well at climbing; Especially barefoot, so she had no trouble getting onto the roof. She sat down on the edge of the roof; still dripping slightly from soaking in the tub. She looked down at the ground below and shrugged lightly. "...Not entirely." She stated simply. "I wasn't relaxed long enough to get that much energy back." She said quietly. "...Oh... Sorry if the little light show bothered you."

Nanashi nodded slightly when she said that the others were probably asleep. "...Yes, I guess so..." he said softly. He watched her cover the food and then glanced back to her face again when she said that her bandages needed to be tightened. He nodded, "Alright. I will." he said softly. His attention was drawn again when Minako came down to announce that she was going to bed. He nodded slightly when she told them that they could use the last room. "...Goodnight." he said quietly as she left and then glanced to LaRae again. "...Well...are you ready?" he asked softly, tilting his head slightly. He finally started to move out of the kitchen and back toward the living room. "...If you want I can sleep down here somewhere." he offered. Outside on the ground it was one thing if they slept next to one another, but he didn't know if she would find it anymore awkward if they were actually in a bed. He knew some people were a little odd like that.

Celestine watched Aamori climb out the window and backed away from the edge, blinking at her. "I see... I didn't mean to disturb you. Really I thought you were using energy again, so I was kind of wondering what in the world you were doing." he shook his head when she said something about the light bothering him. "No. I just happened to notice it when I sat up." He looked over to her for a moment and just took a seat beside her, hanging his legs over the side as well, though he kept enough distance there to keep himself from getting wet. "Oh..." He picked up the little bundle with one or two more pieces of bread inside and sat it down between them. "...If you're hungry. I didn't finish it all the other night." he said simply.

LaRae only looked over at Minako for a second while she was saying good night and giving them permission to use the last room. She nodded lightly and shifted her glance away when Minako headed back up the stairs. "...I'm as ready as I'm every going to be..." She mumbled. Her eyes shifted yet again when Nanashi started to move out of the kitchen. Of course she followed him. She sighed softly hearing him offer to sleep elsewhere. "It's fine, I think I'm capable of sharing a bed." She chuckled lightly. "Besides, I couldn't possibly take the bed knowing you didn't have something equally comfortable to sleep on." She glanced over at the stairs for a moment before looking back over to him. "...So... where do you want to fix my bandages at?" She questioned not quite sure herself. Anywhere would do she guessed but thought she'd see where he'd rather be.

Aamori continued to stare down at the ground for a little while longer. "Well I was using some energy; A minuscule amount to help convert the water so I could use it to restore energy. In the long run, it's like I never used any energy because I will have replenished all I used by the time I've finished." She said quietly finally lifting her eyes up and glancing over at him when he sat down next to her. Her eyes fell towards the bread he'd set between them; It was nice of him to offer her some but she couldn't possibly take any of it. She shook her head gently. "No, but thanks anyway..." She said quietly as she looked back out at the dark, star filled sky. She wouldn't admit it; but she was hungry. Though not enough to take the last pieces of bread from Celestine.

Nanashi smiled weakly when she said that she couldn't take the bed if he didn't have somewhere equally comfortable to sleep. "...From what I gathered, the female's comfort takes priority." he said with a soft laugh, "...Manners 101." He shook his head and reached to take her hand, "It doesn't really matter, anywhere will do... But I suppose the bed would give you more comfort and me more room." he stated as he moved toward the stairs and started down the hallway. He had a pretty good idea of where the room she was referring to was, so he didn't have trouble finding it. Once he got there he stepped inside slowly and looked around for a moment before leading LaRae to the bed and sitting down. He just motioned with his free hand for her to sit down before releasing her hand.

Celestine nodded in understanding when she explained what she was doing. "Oh...I see." he said simply. He raised an eyebrow and then shook his head. "...If you're worried about me, a roll and a croissant's already nearly satiated me. I can't eat a lot at once... and since we're at a house for a while, there will be more food." He said simply. "Besides, I still have a couple of fruits in my bag that someone needs to eat, anyway..." he laid back and snagged his bag, pulling it to him and then fished inside, pulling out two more of the small fruits like he's eaten before. Frankly, they resembled a plum in many ways, but they were a lighter shade of purple, the skin was thicker, and the pit was very small. Like plums, the peel was very bitter and sour, but the inside was very sweet and juicy. "...Want to try one?" he offered, setting it beside the bread. He then began digging at the peel with his thumb to get it started and began peeling it off the fruit. At least it came odd very easily. "I know you have to be hungry... I figure if it gets to the point that I;m hungry the rest of you must be starving. ...I almost forgot I had these." If he'd had more than three with him he would have offered them to the others sooner, but since there wasn't enough to go around, he just didn't tell anyone that he had them.

LaRae merely shook her head slightly when he said 'Manners 101' It made her laugh a little. She hadn't met a lot of guys who were willing to give up their comfort for anyone; Let alone a girl. Then again, she hadn't exactly met a lot of people. She smiled softly when he reached out and took her hand. She of course followed him as he lead the way up stairs and towards the bedroom. Once they were inside she couldn't help but let her eyes scan the whole room. It was actually nice looking for lack of better words. Besides the bed there was also a dresser with a mirror attached to it and an armour. There were also two small end tables on either side of the bed with a lamp on each one. There were also two other doors in the room, one right next to the other. One door opened up into a walk in closet and the other door opened up into the master bathroom. She gave a soft sigh when she noticed that Nanashi had sat down and then released her hand. She just stood for a moment still looking around the room; Her eyes fell back on Nanashi and then she smiled lightly and sat down next to him.

Aamori glanced over at Celestine and started to shake her head 'no' again but stopped. She was really hungry and the more she'd fight it she'd just be even more hungry. She sighed softly and reached down to the bread between them and picked up the smallest piece of bread and started to pick at it with her fingers and then eat it one tiny piece at a time; Making it take longer to eat so that maybe she could trick her stomach into filling up on just this one piece of bread. She looked over at him when he asked if she wanted to try one of the fruits he had. She glanced down at it, staring at it for a moment as if debating with herself on whether or not she wanted to eat it and then shook her head. "No thanks. You should save that for later, in case you run out of food on the trip." She said quietly before looking away again and finishing up the bread she'd taken to eat. She really didn't want to eat any more of the food that he had. It was like when he didn't want to drink all the water in her staff. What if it was needed later and then it was gone? She gave a small sigh and let her hands rest in her lap.

Nanashi wasn't all that interested in looking around the room. As long as there was something soft to lay on, he didn't particularly care what the place looked like. However, seeing LaRae look around so much cased him to glanced around a bit and look everything over. When she finally sat down he smiled slightly at her and then looked over at her. He slipped out of his shoes and drew his feet up on the bed as he moved behind her and put a hand on her back. "Okay..." he muttered softly before moving her shirt out of the way. He untied the bandages and then carefully pulled them tighter, doing his best not to hurt her in the process. After he'd already gotten them untied he realized that this probably would have been easier if she was laying down, but since he'd already started he just hurried and finished, tying the knot off again in the middle of her back where she couldn't reach it.

Celestine looked over to Aamori again when she finally took a piece of bread. He half smiled and shook his head as he toss the peel from the fruit away. "I suppose." he said simply. He really wasn't too worried about it. It wasn't as if food was hard to come by...well unless you were in this territory where there were no trees or anything to produce it. He finally took a bite of the fruit and half smiled as the sweet juice filled his mouth. He chewed the soft fruit and sat there just holding it and staring down at the ground in silence for a moment before taking another bite. It took him a little while to finish at that rate. He kept the other food out while he ate, just in case she changed her mind and wanted any more.

LaRae sat quietly on the edge of the bed watching Nanashi briefly while he moved to her back. She smiled softly when she felt his hand on her back; She leaned forward slightly. She didn't move much after that while he started to tighten her bandages; Though she did tense up. She didn't feel a whole lot of pain while he worked; She merely flinched a couple times when the bandages tightened over the few breaks she still had in her wings. Once he was finished she gave a soft sigh and relaxed a little letting her shoulders drop. "...Thanks... Again..." She mumbled. She glanced down at her feet and thought for a moment about removing her own boots, though she was reluctant at first because she was afraid to see the state her ankle was in. She'd been able to completely ignore it up until now. She sighed again lightly and leaned over, reaching down to start untying her boots. She slipped her feet out of them and then set the boots off to the side before letting her feet rest on the floor again. She extended her ankle slightly to look at the bandage that was wrapped around it; It was stained red right in the middle but it appeared to be completely dry. She assumed since she didn't feel very much pain at all that it was probably just going to be red and sore beneath the bandage.

Aamori glanced over to Celestine watching him eat the fruit for a moment before looking away again. She couldn't lie if she wanted to; Seeing him enjoying the fruit like he was made her want to try it. Though, there was only one left and she couldn't bring herself to take it away from him, even though he did say she could. She lifted her legs up from the edge of the roof and pulled them close to her so she could rest her head on her knees. "...So..." She paused. "...What type of fruit is that? Where does it come from?"

Nanashi smiled slightly when LaRae thanked him and then shook his head. "...Don't mention it." he said simply. He stretched slightly and then glanced back to her again, watching her remove her shoes and examine her ankle. "...Does it still hurt?" he asked softly as he shifted back over to swing his feet off of the side of the bed. He stood up and finally decided he was going to get a little more comfortable for the night at least. He removed the belt from around his waist and laid it across the night stand by the bed, and then struggled out of his coat and folded it to lay over the belt. He started to slip off his elbow length gloves and then decided against it and left them on since LaRae was in there as well. He also left the bandanna and fang necklace in place, though he did slip the scale from his pocket and lay it on top of the coat.

Celestine glanced over to Aamori when she asked him what kind of fruit it was. "...It's a milshal berry." he answered simply, "They grow all over in the forests of my territory. The peel is really bitter, but the inside is very sweet." he told her. He looked down to the other large berry and rolled it over closer to her before starting to swap the remaining piece of bread up in the cloth again and tuck it into his pack again since Aamori apparently wasn't going to eat that. He left the berry out for her even if she didn't take right away. "Go ahead and see if you like it. There will be plenty more soon enough." he said unenthusiastically. He had already realized that the next to go searing for their relic would be him. From here, the closest territory to get to was the mountain ranges, or the Wind Clan's territory.

LaRae shook her head slightly when he asked if it still hurt. "Not really. It's just a little sore." She said quietly just before watching him stand up. She looked away briefly when she noticed he had started to remove his belt. Though she looked back for a second just in time to see him start to remove his gloves, but stopped. She quirked a brow slightly. "...Why not just take them off, you were going to... weren't you?" She scooted back on the bed a little and brought her feet up onto the bed; Crossing her legs indian style in front of her. She rested the ankle with the bandages in front of her slightly and started to untie them so she could see how her ankle was fairing.

Aamori glanced down again when he rolled it closer to her. She stared at it for a moment and then looked back over to Celestine. Of course after hearing that there would be more she wanted to try it even more now but couldn't bring herself to pick it up. She wrapped her arms around the front of her legs and laced her fingers loosely. "...The only thing that really grows all over my territory that's any good to eat..." She paused smiling faintly. "...Are fish." That was probably to be expected though, considering the majority of the water territory was water.

Nanashi glanced back to LaRae when she asked why he didn't remove his gloves. "...I just...would rather not." he said quietly. His forearms were covered in defensive scars and he was the type that preferred to keep his scars covered from view. He looked back toward LaRae again as he sat down on the bed, glancing down to his pants. The button was missing from the top, which was why he wore a belt with his pants, though they could survive without it for the most part. He'd only taken that off because it was too uncomfortable to sleep with. He turned back to the bed and sat down again, pulling his own feet up. He watched LaRae for a moment and then shifted over to the other side of the bed, burrowing himself down into the covers and resting his head on the pillow.

Celestine chuckled softly and shook his head. "I didn't need to be a dream seer to see that one coming." He mused absently. "That sounds more like Lani's kind of meal. I don't eat meat if I can avoid it... I will if there is nothing else, but I would rather not be the one to have to catch it. I have trouble eating something that was looking at me at one point."

LaRae looked up from her ankle and over at him when he said he'd rather not remove his gloves. Of course she was curious as to why, but didn't think she should push it any further then she had started to. She gave a soft sigh. "...Alright then..." She said quietly before returning to her ankle. It took her a few moments to get the bandage off her ankle; The burn had of course calloused slightly and moving around as much as they had today only forced the callous to open up; Which lead to it bleeding. So now the bandage was partly attached to her skin thanks to the now dried up blood. She clenched her teeth together for a moment and just flat out ripped the bandage from her skin. She hissed lightly through her teeth then looked down at her ankle. "...Of course..." She muttered quietly seeing now that the force of her pulling the bandage off only lead to it bleeding again. She grumbled quietly and then took the bandages and pressed them against the cut to absorb some of the blood.

Aamori smirked lightly. "I doubt you could even catch a fish in my territory." She gave a small chuckle. "They're a lot smarter then most people give them credit for and they avoid people with fishing poles like they were the plague." She paused and looked out at the sky. "...You actually have to get into the water with them and chase them down in order to have any hopes of catching them.... That is unless you go for the sick or dying fish." She glanced back over at him for a moment. "...So where is Lani? It's been awhile since she's been around..."

Nanashi was half ready to go to sleep, but he sat up again slightly when he heard her muttering and looking at her ankle. He shifted closer to her again and peeked around her, propping himself up on his arms. He sighed softly when he saw that she was bleeding and then glanced back up to her face again. "Are you alright?" he asked softly as she sat up the rest of the way. He lightly placed his hands on her arms and rested his chin down on her shoulder as he peered down at where she was holding the bandages. "...Maybe you should have tried getting it wet first...things come off easier that way."

Celestine half smiled and shook his hands. "That is how I catch fish anyway if I have to." he said simply. "...I just tend to catch them and then...let them go. I can't stand watching them flail around and try to breath." The way that Celestine acted most found it hard to believe that he was bothered so much by things like that. He was very against killing, even for food if there was something else around that could be eaten. The only time he had to make exceptions was when he was trying to protect himself from something or if it was winter and all the vegetation as dead. He blinked when she asked where Lani was. "Hmm... No clue. I am sure she is around somewhere..." he shrugged slightly, "I hear her once in the forest, but she didn't come to me. I think all of you people make her a little nervous. She is still a wild bird." he said simply. He had never taught her to trust other people, only him. He had a way with animals, and many of them seemed to trust him easily. They could probably sense that he meant them no harm.

LaRae slowly let the pressure off her ankle and then lifted the bandage. She sighed softly seeing that it wasn't bleeding that badly. She took the bandage and just dropped it on the floor next to her boots. "...I'm fine..." She said quietly before trying to look over at him; Finding that quite difficult considering he was resting his head on her shoulder. She was grumbling in her head; She hadn't thought about getting it wet first. She just wanted it off quickly. That little tidbit of advice about getting it wet could have come at a better time, rather then after she'd already removed the bandage. She sighed heavily and glanced back down at her ankle for a moment, slightly annoyed. "...So..." She paused with a small smirk on her face. "How come you've never removed your gloves... or that bandanna now that I think about it?" She rested her hands in her lap and sighed softly. "...Wouldn't it be more comfortable sleeping without them?" She had originally decided against pressing the issue, but she was slightly annoyed and figured she'd push it now anyway.

Aamori shifted slightly and removed her hands from around her legs. She set them back behind her and leaned back a little. "I think you might be the first dragon I've met that doesn't like to eat meat..." She paused and glanced over at him. "...I think that explains why you're so skinny." She sighed softly and looked away. "It's only natural to eat other animals... We all do it... even the animals we prey on..." She paused and shook her head lightly. "Though, I would never force meat on you since you prefer not to eat it." She stretched her arms up over her head and then let herself fall backwards onto the roof. She yawned slightly and then slid her hands under her head. "Ya' know for being a wild bird, Lani seems really attached to you." She glanced over at him and smiled faintly. "I can understand her not wanting to come around when we're all around you. Especially if she's still wild."

Nanashi turned his eyes to the side to look at LaRae and then raised his head off of her shoulder and dropped his hands away from her when she started to ask him about the gloves and bandanna. He sighed heavily, more inclined to talk about his arms than his forehead. He held out one arm and turned it slightly in front of them so that the bottom of his arm was facing up. "...Scars." he said simply, "...I doubt that's something you want to have to look at." He still avoided mentioning anything about the headband. If she did that the way she did most other things, he expected her to assume that he was hiding a scar there, too. "I'm used to it, really...they don't bother me." Honestly, he'd be more bothered without the headband than with it.

Celestine shrugged slightly. "Well, it's not that I have anything against eating meat...I actually like the taste, I just...can't bring myself to kill for it. And I can hardly stand watching someone else do it, either. I just makes me lose my appetite." he glanced to her when she mentioned Lani being attached to him. "...Well...I raised her. I suppose it's natural." he said simply. "Her mother was killed when she was just a chick, so I took care of her and taught her to fend for herself. ...I guess you could call her my best friend?" He was probably closer to Lani than he was to any other dragon. She didn't bother him to death.

LaRae shook her head slightly hearing his only excuse were scars; Here she was hoping it was going to be something slightly more interesting. "...Everyone has scars Nanashi..." She paused sighing lightly. Of course in her mind she wanted to add 'Except people like Hikari...'. "...Just be glad that your scars don't change size and burn randomly, and can't be used as a weapon against you." She was clearly talking about the mark that was on her back; It wasn't necessarily the same type of scar as what he was talking about but nonetheless it was still a scar. Most scars though never bothered her, a lot of people had them and a lot of people could still get them. She glanced back over at him; Originally she might have just ignored the bandanna from this point but since he hadn't said anything to include that with the scars on his arms she was still curious. She quirked a brow and focused on that black cloth that seemed to be practically glued to his head all the time. "...and why won't you remove that?" She asked quietly lifting her hand slightly to point at his bandanna.

Aamori shut her eyes gently and took a deep breath; Relaxing a bit before reopening her eyes to look over at Celestine. Thinking a bit off topic, she was surprised that the echo in her voice hadn't completely annoyed him into asking her to shut up. "I have the feeling that you're going to go hungry around all of us..." She said quietly. She didn't think any of them were going to just stop hunting down meat for food just because one person didn't like to see that happen. She definitely couldn't go without eating her favorite fried fish, even for his sake. She sighed lightly and looked away. "So, you raised that bird?" She said quietly, of course not looking for answer to that because she already knew it. "...If you raised her from a chick, I'm sure she thinks of you more as a parent then a friend." At least that's what she'd assume anyway.

Nanashi sighed when she started talking about the mark on her back. That's not the same thing... he thought, but he didn't say anything. "...I just don't like looking at them." he said finally as if that should be a satisfying enough answer. When she raised her hand toward his head, asking about the bandanna he instinctively moved back as if he was afraid she was going to try to snatch it off. "It doesn't matter, LaRae..." he answered cautiously. "...It's just...easier to keep it on." That definitely wasn't a lie. He had a feeling he would go completely nuts if he couldn't keep that thing on all of the time. There were some things that he really preferred to keep blocked out and that was the only way that he could manage to do it.

Celestine looked over to Aamori again when she mentioned that he would probably go hungry around them. "...It doesn't matter." he said simply. "I can find my own food... I'll just go look for it while the rest of you eat." That sounded simple enough to him. He didn't have to see whatever they were eating get cooked and he didn't have to be around to eat it. He almost smiled when she said that Lani probably saw him like a parent. "Maybe... Just as long as she doesn't think I am her mother." he said with a soft chuckle. Celestine did have a little bit of a sense of humor, he just didn't show it too often. "...That just sounds odd. I am not the...parental type."

LaRae pulled her hand back almost instantly when she saw him move away. She dropped her hand down to her lap and just looked at him rather confused. She couldn't begin to fathom why he was afraid of her getting close to his bandanna. Here she'd thought that she'd given him no reason to be afraid of her at all, in any instance and yet he was actually afraid of that cloth being touched or moved. Hearing say that it didn't matter, on top of seeing his reaction just made her uncomfortable; Like she'd done or said something she shouldn't have. She looked away, letting her eyes fall to the floor; Her ears lowered slightly. She sighed heavily; She now regretted asking about either of the two items. "...I'm sorry... I even asked..."

Aamori laughed softly. "I'd hope that Lani didn't look at you as a mother. You are by no means a girl, you just happen to look like one." She smirked slightly. "...The fact that you're wings are feathered, and more similar to Lani's probably helps with her being so close to you." She paused for a moment. "If you're wings had been more like mine, or one of the others I have a feeling she wouldn't have warmed up to you like she did. She probably thinks you're just a giant bird." She pulled her hands from behind her head and gently rolled herself over onto her side. "...I don't think any guy sees themselves as the 'parental' type until they actually have a child of their own. It's like it takes longer for a man to have their parental switch turned on, then it does women. But when all is said and done, you cared for Lani like a parent would their child; So guess what... you're the parental type." She said chuckling again.

Nanashi watched her reaction when he moved and sighed softly. He edged closer to her again and sighed softly, his own ears laying back slightly. "...I'm sorry....I...didn't mean to flinch." he said quietly. "...I just...really don't want it removed. There's no telling...what I'll 'see.'" he said quietly, looking away shyly. "...They call it a gift to those who have it, but it's more like a curse... It...it's just...I don't know." he said quietly, obviously at a cross roads. he wanted to tell her, but at the same time, he didn't. What would she think of someone with three eyes? In his mind it was nothing but a deformity, but to the fire clan it was a gift. Those who possessed the third eye were considered Shamans and capable of seeing far beyond the realm that others could see. Nanashi, however, tried his best to keep his special eye closed and blindfolded, because what he could see was more frightening than anything.

Celestine scoffed when she said that Lani probably thought he was a giant bird. "I do not look like a bird." He said indignantly. He rolled his eyes slightly, "I would gladly trade with you... I hate my wings." Sure they were soft and very pretty, but they were a pain to work with. "I can't fly when they're wet, so I always have to stay out of the rain, I have to wait nearly an hour for them to dry out before I can fly after bathing..." he shook his head and sighed. He thought about what she was saying for a moment and shook his head again. "...People take care of animals all the time." he said simply, "It's different when it's something of your own species..."
