Hikari froze when LaRae mentioned the gem and she glanced back to her, her pale marble cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "I-err th-thank you.." she said, smiling nervously. At least LaRae didn't seem to know what it meant. When Kyran spoke, however, his ears fell and she sighed. "Well... I was hoping that I wouldn't have to." she said honestly.

She giggled softly when Kyran mentioned the code, "If you were as well studied as you seem you would know what I have never been one to follow that code. It is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard. A simple little rock in my head should not make me incapable of mingling with my people or anyone else that I see fit. Besides... why should you 'commoners' get to have all of the fun?" She smiled and shook her head. Clearly, she was not too fond of her title. She brushed her bangs in front of her eyes again and tilted her head looking at him innocently, "I can't stand staying couped up all of the time or constantly having Ishta standing over my shoulder barking at me." she told him.

Nanashi's jaw dropped when Kyran called Hikari a royal. it took him a second to piece this together, and then his coppery cheeks went crimson. He had never been in the presence of a royal before...let alone been hugged by one. That...was a shocker.

Kyran nodded "We do have all the fun, don't we?" He laughed softly moving over to another tree and sitting down, putting his back against it. "And I must say, I would be considered a stalker if I knew that you didn't follow the code" He paused "That isn't exactly common knowledge, you know. Which would mean I'd have to have followed you around to have known that" The fact that she was a royal didn't really seem to phase him, he could actually care less. As far as he was concerned she was just another girl.

LaRae must have looked just as shocked as Nanashi when Kyran said what he did. Though, she didn't blush like he did afterwards. She shifted her weight so that she was now leaning away from Nanashi and looked over to Kyran and Hikari... or Selenity... same person. She quirked a brow "...How do you know all of that stuff Kyran?" She felt so silly now because she couldn't even tell you the name of her own Clan's Royals. He spoke of it being common knowledge and yet she'd never been taught so could it really be so common? She shook her head softly, she wasn't trained for that. She was a fighter more then anything so she didn't need to focus on such stuff. At least that is what she was always told. She shrugged and shifted her gaze to the Light Dragon "So... what do you prefer to be called?"

Hikari laughed softly at Kyran, "Well, you could have... or your could have asked anyone in my clan. I believe they are all ready and willing to let people know what a poor example I am." she said simply before going to sit down herself. She leaned back against one of the trees and then looked at LaRae again when she asked him what she preferred to be called. "Well... I prefer Hikari simply because I do not like to advertise. Though there are times that it is best to call me by my real name, like when Ishta is around." She half smiled, "I like roaming around and I prefer to be treated just like everyone else. I would like it if everyone's attitude was like his," she said pointing toward Kyran with her thumb, "he doesn't give a rip either way." She could gather that well enough by the way that he acted.

Nanashi glanced up toward Hikari again and tilted his head. He really was surprised by her attitude. As far as he knew, the royals were the ones that always thought that they were superior to everyone else... or at least that is what he'd always assumed. It was true in most cases, but like with everything, there was always the exception.

Kyran nodded slightly "As far as I am concerned, a Royal is only Royalty for political reasons. They're set up to be there when the commoners need guidance" He paused "But most Royalty isn't the top of the of tree for lack of better words. All Royals are run by the elders, the oldest and wisest dragons still alive today" He sighed shutting his eyes for a moment as he rested. It was really relaxing here, he was glad he remembered this place. He opened his dark blue eyes and looked at Hikari with a smile "Everyone gets equal treatment from me regardless of who they are... That is, unless it's my partner"

LaRae kept quiet once Kyran started to speak again, but took notes to remember which name to use with Hikari when around this 'Ishta' person. She pushed herself up from the tree she was sitting against, she had absorbed quite a bit of energy from just sitting down on the ground surrounded by all the greenery. She still had a ways to go before she'd be back to normal but now she could at least stand on her own and walk around. She didn't look at anyone in particular when she spoke "I'll right back..." She stated and started to walk away from them.

Kyran had looked over at LaRae briefly when she stood up and said she'd be right back he nodded "Call if you need anything" He then went back to relaxing against the tree. Should she need any help all she had to do was call and he'd be there. He was just nice to the ladies, he would never be that nice to a guy.

She held her hand up and waved softly as letting him know she heard him. She walked off to the south east of where they were. Since they were in the direct center she'd walk until she was about half way between the center and the outermost edge. She stood looking up though the trees branches; Resting her hand against a tree to hold her balance she took a deep breath and exhaled. She just wanted to get away from what they were talking about and rest in the quiet. She smiled softly feeling right at home in this mini forest. She let herself drop down beside the tree, then set her back against it. Not too much longer and she'd have all her energy back.

Hikari half smiled, looking over at Kyran, "That more or less sums it up." she said simply. The royals were little more than figureheads for the most part. They made a few decisions but otherwise they were just there to look good and make negotiations. She smiled and laughed softly at his last comment. "That is understandable... and good. That is the way that it should be." She glanced over to Nanashi and smiled slightly, "Don't you think?" she asked since he was being so quiet.

Nanashi looked at her for a moment and opened his mouth but after a second he just closed it again and looked away without answering. Of course he thought so, but what he thought really didn't seem to matter.

When LaRae started to get up he looked back over to her looking for a moment as if he was ready to get up as well until she said that she would be right back. She hadn't invited him, so he just settled back where he was again and watched her walk away. He really didn't want to be left along with Kyran and Hikari, but he doubted that LaRae really wanted him shadowing her everywhere either. He just sighed and lowered his head as he leaned back against the tree.

Hikari nodded to LaRae as she started away and then glanced over to Kyran again. "Kyran... do you know when that meeting that everyone is supposed to attend is supposed to be?" she asked, tilting her head. "I'm still not entirely sure what it was about, I'm afraid I was trying not to concentrate on something else when Ishta was explaining," she smiled sheepishly; she did that a lot. "But I have a feeling if I miss it she will have my tail."

Kyran was suddenly reminded of that blasted meeting. He had forgotten all about it until she brought it up. He sighed softly "Tonight If I recall correctly" He paused crossing his arms one over the other in front of his chest. "After the dinner hour, and it'll be in the building in the center of the festival grounds" Kyran couldn't completely forget information no matter how hard he tried, he could momentarily forget about it but the details were always there. Which could be a good thing. "So, Hikari you're supposed to be there..." He looked over at Nanashi "What about you over there nervousness... Or how about quiet?" He laughed, joking around with him.

LaRae had no intention of going back to them right away like she said she would. She rested her head back against the tree, shutting her eyes she exhaled slowly. Her golden brown tail slid out from behind her and rested in her lap; She set her hands down on top of it feeling the texture of her scales on her finger tips.

Hikari sighed, "Oh...fun..." she said softly. She smiled and looked over to Kyran when he spoke to Nanashi and then glanced over to him to see what his response would be.

Nanashi looked over to Kyran shyly, his eyes never quite meeting his. "...I knew nothing of a meeting." he said softly, "But I doubt that I have any reason to be there... I don't even know what it's about."

Hikari smiled weakly, "You can come either way, you do not need an invitation." She sighed and glanced over to Kyran again, "So...this meeting is to determine who is supposed to go get...some artifact, right? That was about all that I gathered... One dragon from each clan, right?" She tilted her head and sighed, "I pity that group... people can barely get along for one day to have a partly, let along a trip like that..."

Kyran was surprised to hear Nanashi answer considering he had not answered Hikair's last one. He smirked "So... Nanashi, I'm pretty sure LaRae will have to attend the meeting. Does that change your mind about going?" He figured that he might change his tune since the girl he had freaked out trying to save would probably be going. He turned his attention back to Hikari for a moment "If I remember correctly you're pretty correct. I don't have all of the details but I kept hearing something about a child's tale we all grew up on. The artifact has something to do with that. I won't know everything until the meeting" He laughed a little "But then again, everyone who attends will know by the time the meeting is over"

LaRae lifted her hand to her mouth when she started to yawn. She opened her golden eyes and stared up at the trees, the branches intertwining with one another blocking out most of the sun. She yawned again then brought her knees up so she could rest her head on them. She let out a heavy sigh as she started to think about what she was sent here to this territory to do. "..." She of course was thinking about the meeting the others had been talking about. The Earth Dragon Clan had not sent very many members to attend this meeting; Only the ones they felt they could lose to the cause.

Nanashi looked at Kyran and raised an eyebrow. "...Why should that change my mind?" he asked simply, though he knew that if LaRae asked him to come to the meeting with her, he probably would, though he would definitely be staying near the back away from the others...or maybe outside.

Hikari nodded slightly. "Yes... I know what tale you're referring to..." she said softly, "Vahagn...the god that tried to take over Arienh centuries ago...right?" she asked, tilting her head.

Nanashi stared at the both of them with a very confused expression and then sighed softly, lowering his eyes. He turned his head and looked away and then started to stand up. "...I will be back later...maybe." he said softly. He wasn't too sure he wanted to come back. LaRae was taking a long time, so he was starting to thing that she'd just decided to leave. He started to walk away, absently heading in the same direction that she had. He wasn't exactly consciously going to look for her, but he was wondering where she was enough that that just happened to be the direction that he picked to wander off in.

Kyran watched Nanashi walk away and didn't bother saying anything. He then shifted his gaze back to Hikari "Yes... That's the one. Arienh hasn't had to deal with the God because he's been sealed away in Central Peak" He paused bringing one leg up to his chest and resting his head on it. "That's about all I know when it comes to this meeting. It's really hard to gather information off other people who don't know anything more then you do..."

She sighed again, focusing on what her Clan had decided. She was pretty sure that no other clan had chosen to send certain dragons to the meeting. Most other dragons were probably going to attend because they wanted to whereas any dragon that showed up from the Earth Clan was considered expendable. The elders were not sure how the members of this meeting were going to be chosen so they sent only the dragons who had no family left, had issues with controlling their powers, or were considered weak. The elders chose this because they wanted to keep their best dragons close to home in case of an emergency. It sounded silly to LaRae and she couldn't help thinking her Clan Elders wanted to invade another territory while the rest of the clan's heads were turned. She sighed regretting saying okay to this, more so since she found out the truth behind the dragons who were sent out. At this point she couldn't do anything about it.

Hikari nodded back to Kyran and sighed, "Yes, I know..." She said softly, "Hmm... I just hope this isn't anything too serious... but then again, I suppose that anything that they would be willing to try to bring members of all the clans together on would almost have to be." She bit her lower lip lightly and glanced down to the grass, "Oh boy, now I'm worried..."

Nanashi walked silently, moving with an almost elf-like stealth through the brush and foliage. He looked mostly straight ahead as he walked but eventually something caught the corner of his eye and he paused, noticing a shoe around the front of a tree. Upon moving forward a little he saw that the foot was attached to LaRae. He stopped walking and just stood there looking at her for a few moments before finally working up the nerve to speak. "...Are you alright?" he asked though his voice came out in that soft whispery tone that was hard to hear unless you were actually listening.

Kyran sighed softly "I agree, I'd like for this to be nothing serious" He paused "But the fact that they have decided to have all the clans come together for this meeting in relatively neutral territory does raise my suspicion. I think there is something that is going on or going to happen that they aren't telling us about" He looked over at her for a moment "Who knows, they might not even tell us what it's about until after they've decided which dragon from each clan will be searching for the artifact" He looked down at his hand that was resting in his lap. "Ya know, keep the seven of us and send the rest of the dragons away. I could see them doing that...." He laughed softly "I doubt that helps your worrying..."

LaRae had been lost in thought, leaned over her own legs and didn't hear Nanashi when he walked closer, let alone when he spoke. She sighed again lifting a hand to scratch the back of her head. "...Why me..." She mumbled finally lifting her head up from her knees and looking back up at the tree branches.

Hikari smiled weakly, "Yes... I know I could see them doing that as well..." she said drying, "and no, that is not particularly helpful to my worrying." she said with a soft laugh. She was quiet for a moment and then glanced over to Kyran. "And what do you mean 'the seven of us' You seem pretty confident that you're going to be chosen." she said lightly.

Nanashi stood there for a moment looking at her. He could see that she hadn't noticed him yet so he crept a little closer to her. "...What's wrong?" he asked softly as he went to kneel beside her. Nanashi was fairly good at picking up on people's emotions for the most part, and he could tell that something was eating at LaRae, or at least he could easily draw that assumption based on what she was muttering. He slowly reached over and placed his hand on her arm, tilting his head slightly. "...Are you alright?" he repeated his question again.

Kyran looked over at her with the last comment she made "You misunderstand me, I meant seven of us as in the seven dragons that would be chosen" He paused and sighed "I would be honored to be one of them though" He stated very sure of himself.

LaRae was startled when she finally heard his voice and nearly jumped out of her skin. She placed a hand over her heart, her breathing was now heavy. She looked over at him "Don't sneak up on me like that..." She took a minute to calm herself down and then looked at the ground. "I'm fine, and nothing's wrong" She stated simply. Something was indeed wrong but she couldn't see telling Nanashi what was bothering her; It was really none of his concern since he was from a different Clan. Not to mention why would he care to listen to her life woes? She shook her head and repeated herself without realizing it "Nothing's wrong"

"Oh." she said simply when he corrected her. She just smiled when he said that he would be honored to be chosen, "Yes I am sure that you would be. I am sure anyone would be. It sounds like a big job. I would just hate to have to referee the bickering." she said with a slight smile. She shook her head and sighed, closing her eyes for a moment. "I bet that Ishta would be ready to spit nails if I was chosen," she said with a soft laugh, "Oh well, I suppose we will just have to wait until tonight to find out..." she said simply.

Nanashi jumped back a little when LaRae startled and laid his ears back when she got into him for sneaking up on her. "...I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... I spoke to you before..." he said quietly, looking a little ashamed of himself. He tilted his head when she said there was nothing wrong. "...Then why do you seem so upset?" he asked softly. He timidly put his hand back on her arm again, barely touching it with his fingers as he looked at her. "...You can tell me... if you want..." he said softly, "...I am a good listener." He kept those soft ruby eyes on hers, for ones boring into her eyes with his. He was trying his est to trust LaRae and he didn't care to listen to what was on her mind. He didn't care to do for others what few took the time to do for him simply because he knew how much it could mean to someone.

Kyran nodded "Depending on the type of dragon's chosen, there could either be a lot of fighting or very little amongst them" He paused "I don't really mind being a mediator.... Which is why I was given the task of walking around the Festival making sure all the Clans were doing alright" He laughed softly "Doubt I'm doing a good job of that right now though..." He of course couldn't be doing his job right now because he had helped LaRae and the others and was now just sitting around. He looked over at the girl "Since I'm not from your Clan, I'm rather surprised that for a Royal you're so pleasant to be around. To be honest I expected any Royal to be stuck-up"

LaRae looked away from him tilting her head down towards the ground trying to hide the light hue of pink she could feel rushing to her cheeks. As she lowered her head her long brown hair fell covering her face. She was glad for once that she had such long hair, she was feeling a little embarrassed about the color appearing on her face from looking into his eyes. She sat quietly for a few moments before speaking in a quieter tone then usual "Don't worry about it; It's nothing" She liked Nanashi and all, but she was very faithful to her Clan and she couldn't say anything about the way they operated. Now if he had been an Earth Dragon then things would be different and she'd probably have already spilled everything on her mind. She sighed softly knowing all to well what the repercussions were for talking about the type of things on her mind.

Hikari smiled at Kyran and laughed softly. "Well what have I to be stuck up about? I did not earn my position, unless you count breaking out of my egg as as act of leadership. If that's the care then everyone should be on the same level." She shook her head, "I would like to think that a Royal would be someone that people could look up to, not someone that is going to stand there and look down their noses at them." She giggled softly again, "And you are rather pleasant to be around yourself. It's nice to meet people who aren't so obsessed with hieratic differences." After a moment she tiled her head slightly, "Oh yeah... you are supposed to be working aren't you? Should we be heading back?" She cringed thinking of how Ishta was going to go off on her when she finally came back. "Oh... And I wonder where those other two ran off to..." she muttered more to herself than Kyran.

Nanashi watched her for a moment as she hid behind her hair. "...Alright." he said softly, "...I won't ask." He still wondered what was bothering her, but he didn't want to force it out of her. He just stroked her arm gently and then pulled his hand back and put it in his lap again, glancing off through the woods. "...So...are you going to that meeting those two mentioned?" he asked softly. "...I'm still not too sure what it's about... It didn't make any sense to me."

Kyran shook his head "We don't have to go back right away, there is another person walking around doing my job too" He laughed softly "I doubt they've even noticed I'm missing. I tend to get lost in a crowd" Which for the most part was true, he looked like every other Thunder Dragon except, he was pretty damn handsome. Though, that was hidden under his tattered clothes and laid back mind-set. He sighed lightly "It's a shame that so many dragons these days are against each other and the Clans are divided. I'm sure at least three fourths of the population on Arienh would get along if they were given the chance"

LaRae didn't budge nor come out from behind her hair. She exhaled a deep breath "I'm not allowed to talk about it..." She paused "...With you" She sighed knowing that probably sounded terrible but it was better then making it sound like she didn't want to talk to him. When he asked about the meeting a shiver went down her spine; She had just been thinking about that. The other two had mentioned? Did that mean both Kyran and Hikari were going too? She wanted to look up to answer his question but doing so would reveal the color she was still hiding; She would wait to lift her head once it faded away. "...Yes..." She mumbled and left it at that. She knew a little about what the meeting was about only because she had been informed from the Elders of her Clan. The fine-details were all that was left for her to find out.

Hikari smiled slightly and laughed at his first comment. "How you would get lost in a crowd I have no idea." He made her feel ridiculously short. True male dragons were generally much bigger and teller than females, but he still seemed really tall to her, though that was probably just because the males and females of the light clad did not vary too vastly in size. In response to his second comment, she nodded in agreement. "Yes, I know... There's so much war and violence it is insane." she glanced away, staring at the ground for a moment, "and most of it is senseless."

A good six years ago, or dragon years at least, the light clan had been attacked by the dark clan for, what it seemed to her, no good apparent reason. She was certain that her clan had not done anything to provoke the attack, or at least not to her knowledge. There had been a lot of casualties....one of them being her own mother. She was old enough to remember, but her sister was lucky enough to have escaped the memories of it, though she still at age seven asked where their mother went. "Maybe this meeting will be a good chance for everyone to put aside their differences so we can get back to the good ol' days."

Nanashi nodded slightly and sighed quietly. "...I see... It's alright, I understand..." he said softly. Of course his automatic assumption was that she couldn't tell him because he was a halfbreed, not because he was from a a different clan. He really didn't consider himself to be a part of any clan or...well anything really. Half breeds were very few and far between, and many of them didn't even survive to be as old as he was either because of birth defects or just outright murder. Nanashi had never even met another halfbreed and was honestly starting to wonder if he was the only one out there. All he knew that that most dragons didn't want anything to do with him because he was an insult to their bloodline, and humans wanted no part of him because he was nothing but a monstrosity or an all out freak or nature in their eyes.

His ear twitched when she said that she was going to the meeting. "...I see." he said again. He left it at that as well, not wanting to intrude on her business. He still didn't really plan on attending unless she asked him to come with her and judging by her secrecy he doubted that she would. That was just as well with him. He knew he didn't belong there anyway.

Kyran smiled "You'd be surprised how easy it is to be lost among a crowd of people; Especially when there is nothing about you that really stands out" He laughed "Well, except my height does make me stick out. Though, for some reason I still get lost" He knew well enough that his personality and the way he carried himself was the reason he didn't stand out. When someone doesn't really care, then they just seem to be over looked. Which was how he liked it. "Ya know princess, you've got high hopes if you think this meeting could lead to peace throughout. The different Clans have been at War for way too long, it'll take more then just this meeting to make them settle their differences..." He sighed lightly thinking to himself 'If things were only that easy'

LaRae sighed and lowered her head to her knees; Resting her forehead directly to the top of her knees and staring down at her lap. She was hoping to finally stop thinking about this up coming meeting but everytime she tired to think about something else it kept being brought up. This time, it was thanks to Nanashi. She was somewhat sad hearing that he wouldn't be attending but maybe that was for the better. The main thing about this meeting that she questioned was how would the dragons be chosen? She half hoped she would be chosen and then at the same time wished she wouldn't. She didn't want to have to return home if she was not part of the group. Things would be difficult then.

Her home life was practically nonexistent. She was an orphan at a young age and fostered off to a family who would take care of her. The family was descended from one of the Clans Elders. She was frowned upon in the house because she wasn't what they considered perfect. She was an orphan, couldn't control her powers completely and they all considered her weak. The Elder decided that she was the perfect subject for this meeting because they didn't care if she died. Unfortunately LaRae knew all of this and accepted the task regardless. It was a way out, and she didn't want to return to them with news that she wasn't chosen. She feared the possible outcome.

Hikari sighed softly and shook her head. "...I know I do..." she said softly, "...But it would be nice. It is hard walking on eggshells to avoid trouble whenever multiple clan members are present." She looked back over to Kyran again and half smiled. "Well... if all goes well maybe at least seven will learn to get along... at least long enough to get this over with...whatever it is." She glanced away again and tucked a strand of silvery hair behind her ear. "Do you think those two are alright? They've been gone for a while..." she said softly, looking back to Kyran. "How easy is it to get lost around here?"

Nanashi watched LaRae lower her head and glanced down toward the ground for a moment. His ears laid back slightly as he looked at his hands and then back up to her. After a moment he reached over and put a hand on her back lightly, leaning a little closer. "...LaRae... I...I'm sorry...if I said something." he said softly. He nuzzled his head against her shoulder almost like a cat, even making a very short lived purring sound deep in his throat. "...Please cheer up..." he said quietly as he sat back again. He couldn't say how good he was at this whole thing, but he was certainly putting forth the effort.

Kyran had nearly forgotten about those two until Hikari brought it up. They had been gone for awhile, LaRae more so then Nanashi. "I wouldn't worry about them too much, I doubt they went far" He looked off in the direction the two had gone "And you could get lost easy if you weren't watching where you were going. Though, if you walked a straight line you'd eventually get back out to the barren land" He laughed softly "I doubt LaRae could get lost in here though, she is an Earth Dragon after all"

LaRae flinched when he put his hand on her back, she wasn't expecting it. "It's nothing you sa..id..." She stuttered through the last word as he nuzzled her shoulder surprising her even more. Her ears twitched a few times as she picked up on what sounded like purring to her. Her eyes had gone wide though you couldn't see that and she suddenly fell over just as he was backing away from her. She was now laying on the ground nearly in shock and her face redder then it was before, it looked like she was a doll and someone pushed her over. She didn't move at all she was too embarrassed to sit back up or even say anything.

Hikari smiled slightly and nodded, "Yes, I suppose you're right." she said with a soft laugh, "I guess I worry too much. After seeing the shape LaRae was in I'm a little surprised that she could get up so soon. I guess the area helped a bit." She shifted positions so that she was sitting with her legs off to the side a bit rather than under her and sighed, "I wonder if Nanashi found her or just left. I wouldn't be too surprised if he decided to just leave. He looks like he's been hurt enough for one day, too." She said that simply because she noticed the way that he'd been favoring his left side. She was pretty aware when someone was in pain, but she wasn't going to waste her energy trying to heal a bruise, and she was pretty sure that was all it was. She sighed again and leaned back against the tree. "That's another thing that agitates me..." She didn't see why people felt the need to abuse people like him just because of their parents weren't exactly the same species. She was almost sure that was what had happened to LaRae, too... she could be easily mistaken.

Nanashi blinked when LaRae fell over and then froze. "...LaRae?" he asked softly, tilting his head. He wasn't sure what was wrong with her. He hadn't hurt her...had he? He gently touched her arm and shook it very lightly and then quickly pulled his hand back when he remembered Kyran telling him not to do that. "LaRae? What's wrong? Please answer me." he said, his voice quiet and pleading. "I-I'm sorry! What did I do? I wont do it again." he told her quickly.

Kyran nodded "I was pretty sure that this type of area would help LaRae get to feeling better, faster. I guess I was right. I wonder if she's completely regained herself yet..." He finally stood up and dusted himself off, his tail stretched out behind him straight and then curled up again. "A Dragon Half is always treated badly, I myself can say I've been negative towards one or two I've seen in the past" He sighed looking down at Hikari "But I've worked on that since then, I think everyone should be treated as an equal. Unfortunately not everyone thinks that way" He paused "We should probably go look for them..." He looked up through the branches seeing that the sun was starting to fall. "It'll be dark before we know it and we need to get back for that meeting" He stated as he brought his gaze back down from the skyline. He couldn't believe time had passed by so quickly just sitting around talking.

LaRae still didn't move even though he shook her arm; She continued to lay on the grass not moving, not even to move the hair from her face. "...I..I'm... okay.." She mumbled feeling the warmth in her face slowly staring to fade away now. She couldn't explain why she was acting like this, but she felt so strange around him. "...It's okay..." She paused trying to keep herself from stuttering. "..Y..you didn't do... anything wrong.." She failed miserably, she stuttered anyway. All she was thinking at this point was 'Damnit, get it together already!'

Hikari nodded slightly, "...I realize that...Poor things. We don't choose our parents." If they could she definitely wouldn't have picked her father as one of them. She nodded when he said they should go look for them, "Yes that sounds like a good idea." she said as she climbed to her feet again and stretched a little. She dusted off her pants legs and then glanced toward the sky herself. "Wow it really is getting late... I did not think we had been out here this long. Oh man... Ishta is going to put me on a leash after this if she doesn't kill me first." she said with a nervous laugh, "Oh well..." She shook her head and started off toward the area that Nanashi and LaRae had run off in.

Nanashi looked down at LaRae and put his hands on the ground in font of her, finally reaching out to brush her hair away from her face. He still looked a little worried. "...Then...why did you fall over?" he asked bluntly. He really seemed confused as he looked over her face and saw her face all red. He lightly touching the back of his fingers to her cheek and tilted his head. "...You're really warm... are you getting sick?"
