Nero lifted his eyes when he heard Sonia speak to him and surprisingly enough wore a smile on his face. "Yes, I'm Nero." He said simply. "I apologize for not introducing myself earlier. Though it is a pleasure to meet you, Sonia." He then glanced over to Hikari when he heard her question. His smile fading slightly though he kept a certain pleasantness about him. "No, not yet." He paused. "It's proper to stand until all of the women have taken their seats." He said with a slight nod. He may be a bit cold and have an attitude at times but he was still a gentleman when it came to certain things and this was one of them. Along with treating his elders, especially women with a certain level of respect and kindness regardless of their clan.

Kyran looked up at Nero noticing his smile, and oddly pleasant behavior. He was a little shocked to say the least and half thought of asking where the real Nero was. Though he thought any comment like that would result in a negative reaction from Nero. He just shook his head lightly. "...Nero, you're making the rest of us guys look bad." He commented quietly with a slight laugh.

Aamori looked at Kanone and just shook her head lightly. "..Well how would you feel being patted on the head all the time by someone around your age?" She asked, though not expecting to hear an answer. "I doubt we're going to bump into one another somewhere Kanone. You said you wouldn't be able to leave here even to go to Kairava, so I don't expect to see you again unless I come here." She paused. "And my... job... wouldn't permit me to come back here easily after this trip that the seven of us are on is over." She said quietly. She looked around the kitchen a little when entered; She hadn't seen it much of it earlier. She looked over at the table briefly and then over to Nanashi when she heard him speak. Well, that explained by LaRae hadn't gotten up off the floor to come in here. She gave a small sigh and looked at Kanone when his mother started telling him to go put a shirt on. She lifted a hand to her mouth slightly and chuckled. She watched him turn around and just shook her head lightly. "...You'd better hurry, I'm sure we've got a couple 'gluttons' at the table already." She said jokingly before walking over to the table to take a seat.

Hikari blinked and then stifled a giggle. "Wow, Nero." she said pleasantly, "I didn't know you were such a gentleman." She really was a bit surprised. Nero was so rough sometimes that she couldn't imagine him caring at all about table manners.

Sonia smiled at Nero again and shook her head slightly. "Well then I suppose that I had best sit down." she said with a smile as she took the seat at the end of the table near Hikari.

Nanashi was still just standing near the counter, waiting for everyone else to get their food before he went to get any for himself or LaRae. He didn't really want to have to reach over anyone, but at the same time he didn't want to take food and run off with it before anyone else got any.

Celestine had finally gotten out of the shower and gotten dressed again. His wings and hair were still a bit damp, but they would probably dry fairly quickly. He hardly made any sound as he descended to stairs and stepped back into the living room again. He was still barefoot, mainly because his shoes wouldn't have fit him anymore even if he did want to wear him. The clothes that he'd chosen has been a bit big on him when they were bought, but they fit rather nicely now. His clothes were rather similar to the ones that he'd worn before, but these were much nicer. He was now dressed in a pair of light brown suede pants that fit him rather snugly, as well as a matching sleeveless vest with a high collar that could be worn standing up or folded over; he chose to leave it up. The vest closed by pulling it over to the right and buttoning it, though the deep indigo sash around his waste was also helping to keep it in place. Under the vest he wore a long shirt, almost like the one that he had on before, though it was a bit shorter and came down just a little past his knees rather than all the way to his ankles. The shirt was white with loose flowing sleeves with intricately embroidered golden patterns at the bottom. The same patters, were embroidered on the edge of the shirt in the front and back where it hung. Rather hand being cut straight across like his last shirt, the tails of this were cut in a sort of angle that made it appear a little more rounded, thought he corners were still apparent enough. Overall the outfit fit him quite nicely. The vest was snug, showing how thin he was, though not exactly revealing his ribs. He had pulled his hair back into a loose ponytail about midway down with a white ribbon as well so that only the shorter area in the front was able to hang over his shoulders. He sighed softly and glanced over to LaRae when he reached the bottom of the stairs before looking around for anyone else. He could smell the fish from there, but he was hardly interested in that. He only started to head toward the kitchen again to get a drink.

Nero looked back to Hikari and just shrugged lightly. "I was raised properly, with manors and respect. But there is a time a place for such things." He said lightly before finally taking a seat after Sonia had sat down. He then looked over at Kyran for a moment and shook his head lightly. "I'm not making anyone look bad, you do that to yourselves." He said simply with another light shrug. He really didn't care how he made any of the others look, he was going to act the same way he would regardless of if they were there or not.

Kyran just stared blankly at Nero for a moment before letting out a sigh. Now that was the type of response he'd been expecting from Nero. Sometimes he didn't think that guy knew how to joke around, he just seemed so serious all the time. Though he guessed the serious face was just something picked up from his career.

Aamori had taken the seat next to Nero, sitting with her hands in her lap. She just stared at the fish in the center of the table for a moment, completely ignoring any and all of the conversation going on at the table. Her mouth had already started watering just by the smell and now seeing it wasn't really helping all that much.

LaRae lifted her eyes and looked back towards the stairs when she heard someone coming down. She just looked at Celestine for a moment, noting the change of clothes and then turning her eyes away with a light sigh. Had they been on friendlier terms she might have opened her mouth to tell him what she'd done but she just kept her mouth shut.

Hikari nodded to Nero, but couldn't help snickering again after what he said to Kyran. "...He's right." she said playfully as she curled her tail around the leg of the chair. She much smiled at Kyran, "But we forgive you." she said in the same light hearted tone.

Sonia shook her head and sighed. "...Well..." she glanced over to Aamori and smiled slightly, "I believe one of us is going to start drooling in a moment, so I suppose you can go ahead and dig in. Kanone will just have to learn to come to dinner prepared next time." She said lightly.

Nanashi's ears twitched slightly when he heard Sonia say that everyone could dig in and he moved a little closer to the table with the plates, though he still hung back and waited for everyone else to get something first.

Celestine finally stepped into the kitchen with a soft sighed. His eyes barely went to the table long enough to see that fish was all that was offered for dinner, and he was glad that he was still full from lunch. He just moved over to the cabinets above the sink and pulled down a lass before filling it with water and taking a long sip.

Sonia glanced up again when she saw a shadow cross over the table and then looked back to see that it was Celestine. She hadn't even heard him come in. "Celestine, are you going to eat?" she asked him lightly.
Celestine looked at the table again and shook his head. "...I can't eat that." he said simply. "I'm not hungry."
"But Celestine, you barely ate--"
"I don't eat meat." he said bluntly. "I can't eat something I know was swimming around in a lake an hour ago."
"Oh...well I can make you something else if you want." she offered. S he really seemed insistent that he was going to eat something.
Celestine just sighed heavily. "...I'll fend for myself." he told her, "I think I can manage at least that much." He couldn't help getting a little attitude. He got so annoyed whens he treated him like he couldn't take care of himself. She was practically smothering when it came right down to it. Ever since he'd gotten hurt she'd been overprotective of him and outright annoying.
"...Well alright then. Just make sure you eat something."
"Yeah, yeah..."

Kanone finally came back into the room wearing a loose white flannel shirt that it looked like he'd started to tuck in and then said to hell with it. He sighed. "Better?" he muttered as he went to flop down in the last open chair.

Kyiri finally opened her eyes and sat up away from Nobu, sniffing at the air. She knew that smell; FISH! She hopped up and went to the door, pawing and meowing to be let in, but she was too quiet to really be heard from out here. Finally she bounded off of the porch and ran around the side of the house where a fairly large tree grew near a window. She scampered up the tree and ran out along a limb, looking at the half open window to Kanone's room. She reared back slightly and then jumped for it, landing square in the middle of his bed before bouncing off and scurrying to the door, digging her paws under it as she tried to pull it the rest of the way open.

Aamori looked over at Sonia with an embarrassed look on her face. She hadn't realized just how hungry she was, or the fact that it was showing. Hearing Sonia give an okay to get some fish she picked up her fork rather quickly and swiped a piece of fish from the large plate, then set it on her own. She didn't say a word and then tore a small piece of the fish off and stuck it in her mouth. Moments later she couldn't resist a wide smile creeping onto her face as she finished the bite in her mouth. "It's delicious!" She said happily before going right back to the fish on her plate. She was far too hungry to even pay any attention to the fact that Celestine had come into the kitchen. She barely even noticed when Kanone came to sit down.

Kyran just stared at Hikari for a moment after hearing what she said and then gave a heavy sigh. "C'mon now... You don't both need to gang up on me..." He said in a mock whiny voice. He just shook his head lightly, giving a small laugh. He glanced over to Aamori just about the time she started smiling. "Looks like someone really likes fish." He said as he picked up his fork and put a piece of fish on his plate too.

Nero shook his head lightly hear Kyran. He just gave a sigh and then glanced over to Aamori for a moment. It was official, he never wanted to be at a table for dinner with this bunch ever again. His eyes turned back to Kyran when he saw him pull a piece of fish to his plate before all the girls had helped themselves and then shook his head again. "Kyran, you've got no manors what-so-ever." He said lightly. "Are you sure you weren't raised in a box?" He commented in all seriousness, though he was obviously joking.

Hikari smiled at Kyran and shook her head slightly before slipping a couple of pieces of fish onto her plate. She did at least have table manners, though she didn't expect Kyran and everyone else to sit around and wait for her to get her food. "Oh, Nero, calm down..." she said with a slight smile. She just started to cut off a few tiny pieces of her fish, but she didn't start eating just yet. She was waiting for everyone else to get their food.

Sonia smiled slightly and shook her head. "I'm afraid here when there is food involved manners tend to fly right out the window." She said as she glanced over to Nero. She was obviously still poking at Kanone. She reached over and took two pieces of fish herself with the fork, and was probably the first to dip any sauce over hers.

Kanone groaned. "Alright, I dove in a lake and got soaked, Cel was in the bathroom and I didn't want to dirty another shirt just for dinner! Let me live!" he said as he forked a few pieces of fish and dragged them onto his plate. He looked a little pouty as he cut off a piece and stuck it in his mouth.

Nanashi was still standing there waiting patiently for everyone to get their food. Even after Nero had gotten his he still still didn't move. He really felt awkward being here. He didn't want to get between anyone to get the food even though he'd already waited until last. There wasn't a whole lot left by now anyway.

Celestine looked over to Nanashi and sighed, shaking his head. He walked over to him and took a plate from him before sliding between Kyran and Hikari to get to the table. He put two pieces on that plate and then handed it back to him before taking the other and putting the last two pieces on that one. "There. Honestly, in a group this size if you always stand back and wait until the very last to eat you're never going to get any food." He said simply as he shoved the other plate at him too. He always noticed that with Nanashi; he acted like he was afraid to go anywhere near food until everyone else had already gotten some.

Nanashi looked at Celestine with clear surprise on his face as he stood there with the two plates. "...U...um...y-yeah...." he stammered, looking away from him again. "...Thanks..." he muttered quietly before timidly stepping back and moving around him to get back to the hallway and scurry off toward the living room.

Kanone looked at Celestine and sighed. Well so much for getting seconds. He started to scoot his chair back. "...Mom, you forgot the drinks again." he said flatly.

"Oh...oops...I knew I was forgetting something..."

"Yeah yeah, I'll get them." he said as he started to stand up.

Kyiri had finally gotten the door open and come racing down the steps past LaRae and down the hallway. Her mouth was watering by the time she reached the kitchen and she didn't waste her time with that lovey-dovey crap, she just dove right into the middle of the table and slid across it, snatching the fish right off of Kanone's plate before hopping into the floor again and starting to eat.

Kanone froze and stared at his now empty plate before looking down to Kyiri in disbelief. "My fish! What the hell why is it always MY fish!? Why don't you steal someone else's dinner for once you little hairy glutton!?" he demanded. He was being a little over dramatic with the way that he held his hands in front of him and curled up his fingers. Of course, the little hairball was ignoring him completely as she ate.

Sonia's eyes widened when Kyiri jumped up on the table. "Kyiri!!" she started and then sighed. Too late. She sighed and shoot her head. "Kanone, I have told you time and time again to keep that window closed or at least keep the door to your room closed during dinner!"
"It WAS closed!"
"Well obviously not well enough!" she said a little impatiently.
"What are you yelling at me for, it's his stupid cat!" he said, pointing at Celestine.
Celestine just sighed. "Don't drag me into this. You haven't fed her all day, she's hungry." he said simply as he picked her up. The fish was already gone.
"Yeah well so am I!"
"You got a bite." he said indifferently.

Nanashi had stopped at the doorway when Kyiri came running in. He blinked when she stole Kanone's fish, finding that a little funny at first. After Kanone started to complain about her always stealing his dinner and sighed and shook his head and by the time he said that he was hungry, too, he'd already walked back over to the table. He just set the plate that he'd intended for himself down on top of Kanone's empty one without a word and then turned around and walked off again, not stopping this time as he returned to the living room and sat down beside LaRae. "Here." He said with a slight smile as he set the plate and fork down in front of her.

Nero gave a slight shrug after hearing both Hikari and Sonia. He didn't bother saying anything else and just started to eat the fish on his plate. He'd already spoken his mind enough for today so he just sat quietly while eating barely lifting his eyes from the plate.

Kyran had turned his attention to his plate and had started eating. Though he looked up briefly when he noticed Celestine had leaned in to put some fish on the two plates. After that he went right back to eating; Though he did think what Celestine did was a nice gesture since Nanashi couldn't seem to get himself to the table.

Aamori wasn't paying attention to much as she continued to sit there rather happily eating her fish. Her tail had even started to sway slightly. Her attention was finally broken when Celestine leaned in to get the fish for the plates Nanashi was holding. She just looked at him for a moment, still with food in her mouth. Seconds later she swallowed hard and her cheeks were flushed pink again. She tilted her head down and went back to eating.

Kyran startled slightly when Kyiri suddenly jumped onto the table and then just stared for a moment once she'd gotten down from the table with Kanone's fish in tow. Though he rather quickly gave a heavy sigh and shook his head when the arguing had ensued. He definitely hadn't missed the bickering between family and now he was even a little embarrassed for them all, even if they weren't. Raising their voices like that in front of company you've just met and over a piece of fish stolen by the cat. He gave another sigh and just went back to eating. Though he looked up briefly when he noticed Nanashi setting down a plate ontop of Kanone's empty one. He still didn't say a word; He actually wasn't all that surprised to see Nanashi do that. Hell, if he hadn't already eaten most of his own fish he would've tried to share just to make sure that everyone who was hungry got to eat something.

Aamori looked up again about the same time that Kyran had, when Kyiri jumped onto the table. She turned her head slightly and watched Kyiri run away with the fish on Kanone's plate. She might have tried to stop Kyiri if she hadn't been so surprised by her in the first place. She gave a soft sigh hearing the back and forth between the three of them; Feeling a bit uncomfortable now after listening to that. She glanced up when Nanashi came over with the plate and set it down. She'd wanted to tell him he didn't need to give up his own fish, but he'd turned and left already. She gave another sigh and quietly stabbed the last small bit of fish left on her plate and stuffed it in her mouth.

LaRae had barely even noticed Kyiri before she was gone from sight. She just shrugged slightly and sat quietly with a small yawn. Her ears twitched a little hearing what they were raising their voices about in the kitchen and she started to laugh a little. Though she quickly quieted herself when she heard someone coming into the living room. She looked over at Nanashi when he set the plate down in front of her. "...Thank you." She said quietly before looking down at the fish on the plate. It sure looked good. She smiled slightly and then turned back to Nanashi for a moment having only seen this one plate. "...Didn't you get some for yourself?" She asked quietly before picking up the fork and cutting a small piece of the fish and sticking it in her mouth.

Hikari was just sitting there with her fork half raised to her mouth where she'd frozen when Kyiri ran in. Her ears drooped slightly as she listened to Sonia getting onto Kanone. That seemed to be about all she got done around here was getting onto him for something. She glanced to Nanashi when he gave up his plate and then sighed softly. Somehow that didn't surprise her that he'd go without eating so someone else could.

Kanone had looked like he was about ready to off on Celestine again when he heard the clink of the plates. He looked down and stared at the fish for a second before looking back up to see Nanashi walking off. He sighed quietly, his ears drooping slightly as he sank back down into his chair, looking a little guilty. He was just frustrated to no end with that stupid cat taking his food again; he hadn't wanted Nanashi to give up his food for him.

Celestine just shook his head. "...And you people wonder why I left in the first place. This is just embarrassing." he muttered as he started for the hallway with Kyiri in his arms. He was probably the second quietest of the group. Sonia hadn't really been raising her voice, but she was clearly getting onto Kanone. Kanone was just being loud. He sighed as he left the room and started down the hallway again. He glanced over to Nanashi and LaRae for a moment and then just headed back to the front door and stepped outside. He dropped Kyiri back to the porch and looked over to Nobu for a moment. "...Come on, Nobu...I'll see if I can find you something to eat, too." he said simply as he started off the porch with a heavy sigh.

Nanashi looked at LaRae for a moment and shook his head slightly. "...No. I wasn't really hungry." he said quietly. He was used to not eating a lot, so it didn't really bother him, even though that fish smelled delicious.

Sonia shook her head, though she looked a little hurt by what Celestine said. She looked over to Kanone and narrowed her eyes slightly. "Well, Kanone, I hope you are satisfied. You got your fish." she said simply before she continued eating. She was obviously displeased with him and didn't really appear to be enjoying her dinner anymore. She couldn't believe he left that window open again with company here. She guessed she was just going to have to crack down on his mannerisms when people weren't here so he would know how to act when they did have company.

Kanone sighed and his ears fell back even more after what she said to him. He just stared at the fish for a moment and then got up without a word, taking the plate with him and starting off toward the living room again. He just walked over to Nanashi and set the plate on the table in front of him. "Here, I'm not hungry." he said simply before heading for the stairs. He guessed he may as well get ready for later anyway.

Nanashi blinked when Kanone brought his late back to him. He looked at it for a moment and then looked back up to Kanone. He knew he was lying judging by the fit he threw a few minutes ago. "...Um...thanks..." he said quietly.

Sonia shook her head again when Kanone got up and then sighed softly before raising her head again. "I...would really like to apologize for that. I don't know what he was making such a scene about. There is a tree branch that goes right to his window and the only door between Kyiri and this table is the one to his bedroom. He never closes it." she tried to explain. "I am really sorry about that." She was clearly pretty upset about that happening in front of company.

Aamori's plate was now empty and she'd returned to sitting quietly with her hands resting gently in her lap. After Celestine and Kanone had left the kitchen and Sonia started to explain and give an apology she gave a small sigh. She turned her eyes towards Sonia and shook her head lightly. "With all due respect, If Kyiri is constantly doing this by getting in through the window via a tree... Wouldn't it make more sense to trim back the branch of the tree so she can't reach the window... Rather then continuing to let that happen that way and then fighting about it?" She gave another sigh and turned her eyes away. "As for Kyiri and food, you could just feed her when you sit down for dinner. That way when you eat, she eats and I personally think anyone can feed the cat, it doesn't have to be just Kanone's responsibility." She said quietly before scooting her chair back and standing up taking the plate she'd used in hand and starting towards the sink. She went quiet after that just because she'd already said more then enough. After all, she was just company and probably shouldn't have said a word to begin with, but considering they'd had it out right in front of them she guessed it didn't really matter. She had at least tried to be respectful when she spoke, but she was rather agitated after everything.

Nero acted like he wasn't listening to anything that had been said and continued to eat his dinner as if nothing was going on around him. Though he was paying full attention, only because it was hard not to. He shifted his eyes slightly over to Aamori when she started to speak and then shook his head lightly. When she started to scoot her chair out, he reacted without really thinking about it and stood up, waiting until she'd left the table to sit down again. He gave a small sigh and continued eating like he hadn't moved at all until he finished his plate.

Kyran finished off his food and sat back a little in the chair. He glanced over at Nero for a moment and half wished he'd been able to ignore what was going on as well as he was. He looked over at Sonia when she started to apologize and explain about how Kyiri always got inside. He wasn't really sure what to say, though he was surprised to hear Aamori speak up. He nodded slightly and looked back at Sonia. "...I do have to agree with Aamori on cutting back the branch of that tree." He said lightly. "It would be the fastest way to avoid having stuff like this happen again."

Nobu was still lounged out on the porch, half asleep when he heard the front door open again. He started to sit up, since he'd been laying on his side. He looked at Celestine when he dropped Kyiri and then stood up after hearing what he said. He hadn't eaten since he'd returned home for the relic, so he was rather starved himself. He rather quickly followed Celestine off the porch and went to walk by his side; Looking up at him with his ears laid back slightly. '...You look like somethings bothering you...'.

LaRae turned slightly to look at Celestine when he came back into the living room and then watched as he left without a word. She sighed softly and turned back to the plate of fish and took another bite before looking at Nanashi. She just looked at him for a moment before turning her eyes back to her plate to cut another piece of fish. "...Somehow I don't believe that." She said quietly as she picked the piece of fish up with her fork and held it out to him. "It's really good, and I don't mind sharing." She said with a smile. Her attention was rather easily snagged when Kanone came into the living room and set the plate down on the table.

Sonia looked at Aamori when she spoke and then sighed. Of course she knew everything that the girl had said, but she was the type that gave everyone their own responsibilities and feeding that cat was Kanone's; that was just the way that things ran around here. He was supposed to feed Kyiri at lunch time and he went fishing instead. "Yes well, I suppose that I will take that up with Kanone again." she said simply as she laid her silverware down. Obviously she'd already asked him to cut that branch back and he hadn't done it. He liked to use it himself to sneak out without using the front door, and he said that the tree would look funny without that branch. "...Actually I will just do it myself to avoid the argument. He can gripe about it later. Excuse me, please." she said as she picked up her own plate and started to the sink. She scraped off what was left of her dinner and put the dish in the sink and then started out of the kitchen again. She still needed to go get changed herself. She'd worry with the tree tomorrow sometime.

Hikari watched Sonia go and then sighed heavily. "...Well...that went nice..." she said quietly. She'd barely gotten half of her fish eaten for all of the arguments. She shook her head and continued to eat. She had to admit that she was surprised at the way Aamori spoke to Sonia like that. Apparently her stating the obvious had been mildly offensive judging by the way that Sonia responded. It sounded like Kanone could be a bit of a handful sometimes, or maybe Sonia just expected too much from him. They all seemed pleasant enough at first anyway, but she guessed it would be harder for them to get along for too long. Sonia was obviously a bit proper and well...her son was anything but.

Celestine glanced down to Nobu and sighed quietly. "...I have a lot of things bothering me..." He said simply. "...I don't want to be here. I've barely been here a day and they are already driving me up the wall. I just...want to leave..." He looked up again as they started across the bridge. That was hardly the biggest thing bothering him, but it was very agitating to say the least. This area in general was what was bothering him. He couldn't walk down these streets without remembering what happened here. He shook his head and crossed his arms over his chest as if that was going to protect him from the flood of memories.

Nanashi smiled weakly at LaRae and then sighed softly. "...I gave Kanone my fish...because Kyiri took his and he said that he was still hungry..." he said quietly. "...I just wanted everyone to stop arguing." He shook his head slightly and then finally took off a tiny piece of fish and nibbled on it. "...Kanone and his mother seem to do that a lot..." he said quietly.

Aamori heaved a heavy sigh after seeing Sonia leave the kitchen. She hadn't quite expected that type of response to what she'd said and just stood there quietly for a moment. She really hadn't thought anything she'd said was all that offensive, so she was more then a little confused. She shook her head lightly, trying to think of something to say but nothing came to mind. She just glanced over at the table for a moment before quietly walking towards the living room. She continued through the living room and straight out the front door, then sat down on the porch.

Kyran noticed Aamori walk out of the kitchen also and just shook his head lightly before giving a sigh. "...I think I might understand a little why Celestine wouldn't want to be here all the time..." He said quietly. "...The arguments are little uncalled for in my opinion, not to mention the timing is terrible." He paused and then started to stand up, taking his plate in his hand and walking it over to the sink. He set the plate down and then walked back over to the table just standing behind the chair he'd been sitting in.

Nobu continued to walk next to Celestine, occasionally looking up at him. '...I'm sure we won't be here for too much longer.' He paused. 'What are they doing to drive you away?' He looked back ahead of them for a moment while they walked.

LaRae gave a small nod and started to pay a little more attention to the fish she was eating. "I could hear the arguing from here..." She said quietly. She took a few more bites and then looked up when she noticed Aamori walk past and go outside. She turned back to her plate and then looked over at Nanashi. "...And I know you meant well Nanashi, but you shouldn't just go offering up all of your own food." She paused. "You need to eat too... Ya' know."

Hikari just sighed again and finished up her fish quickly. "...Well... I suppose arguments are fairly common among parents and children... I have plenty with my father over more petty things than a cat taking my dinner." she said simply before standing to go put her plate away. She looked back to Kyran again, "...But then again, we have barely been here a day and barely know either of them. It's not out place to judge how reliant these arguments are or how often they occur. From the sound of it she had offered up every solution under the sun to Kanone about Kyiri and he doesn't do what he is told. I would get pretty annoyed with him, too if I was his mother." she said simply.

Celestine sighed softly. "...What don't they do?" He muttered, "...Kanone is annoying, Sonia is smothering... I just can't take it in there...." he said as he shook his head. "...I already lost my mother... I don't want a replacement...and she's a really pitiful one at that..." he said bluntly, "...I'm not her son."

Nanashi looked up when Aamori came through the living room and sighed softly. "...I already ate today..." He said quietly, "...I can go without for a while." He took another small nibble of his fish and then shook his head. He couldn't help the way that he acted, he'd just been programed tat way. He was to eat last, if there was anything left, and if someone was still hungry, he didn't need the food as much as they did. He was half human after all, he didn't need to eat as much. Or at least so he was told. that was why he couldn't force himself to go to the table before everyone else was done eating. Usually the food was cold by the time he was getting to it.

Nero finally got up from the table himself and walked his plate over to the sink then set it down and returned to the chair he'd been sitting in. He sat down in the chair and glanced up at Kyran with a slight shrug. "She's right." He said quietly. "Being guests in this house, we have no right to interfere with how things work here." He paused. "And Aamori shouldn't have said a word, period. Regardless of how she felt on the matter." He lifted his hand and brushed his hair from his face before leaning back in the chair and crossing his arms over his chest loosely. "The only thing I really have to say on the matter though, is I'm sure that Sonia was embarrassed enough as it was. She didn't need to hear anything from any of us."

Kyran gave a sigh after listening to Hikari and Nero. "Okay... Yes, I suppose you're both right." He said as he pulled out his chair again and sat down. "...And I think that arguments are common between any child with an authority figure. I know Minako and I argue over some really silly things sometimes..." He said quietly.

Nobu looked back up to Celestine and tilted his head to the side. '...Sounds like this Sonia really cares about you... if she's smothering you. Maybe she's just trying to make up for your loss.' He paused. 'I would say that you should try talking to her about the way you feel, but I'm afraid you might make her cry. You're not exactly Mr Sensitivity...' He commented as he turned his head back to the ground. 'At any rate... We leave when you're ready to right? Why don't we just leave since being here it getting to you.'

LaRae took a few more bites and then looked back to Nanashi. "I already ate today too." She paused. "You should really eat when you're given the opportunity. Who knows when we're going to get to eat like this again while we're on this trip." She turned back to her plate and ate a few more bites before pushing the plate aside gently.

Aamori sat on the porch quietly for a few minutes before standing up. She gave a heavy sigh and then started to wander away from the house. She walked back the way they'd come in earlier only coming to a stop once she reached the bridge. She walked to the center of the bridge and peered over the side for a moment before climbing up on top of it and sitting down, dangling her legs over the side as she stared down at the water. After thinking about it for a little bit she'd pretty much came to the conclusion that it was rude of her to say anything at all to Sonia. She just couldn't help it, sometimes she had an overly opinionated mouth and she'd never really been told when was and when wasn't a proper time to speak. She was treated specially back home, with a completely different set of rules so she was allowed to have an opinion regardless of who she was talking to.

Hikari sighed softly, "Yes, that was a little uncalled for... at least she put it politely, but still..." She said and then nodded in agreement with Nero, "Yes, I'm sure she was." She shook her head and then sighed, "Well, I now that they've all run off, what are we supposed to do?" she asked as she went to sit back down again. She glanced over to Nero again, wanting to ask him if he planned to go to the wedding party, but she decided against it. She didn't really want to dampen his mood, though she had a feeling that he would find out about it soon enough when they went to leave.

Celestine sighed. "...It doesn't matter..." He muttered, "...It's not really me that she cares about. She lost a son that day, too... She's trying to replace him more than anything... Kanone knows it, that's why he gets so frustrated with her... I just hate it when he accidentally calls me by his name." he shook his head again, "and I know I would probably make her cry...that's why I just let her do whatever she wants..." He looked down to Nobu again when he asked why they didn't just leave. "...Because I still need to figure out my directions... and I told her I would go to that stupid wedding party..." He sighed again, "...Me and my big mouth..." He clearly wanted to leave already, but he'd dug himself onto a hole. He looked up again just as they were reaching the cemetery and froze. "Wh-what the hell!?" He looked around at all of the flowers, his mouth open in complete awe. Those definitely weren't there before. He slowly stared to walk into the trail and looked around before his eyes were caught by the one patch of solid purple...right around his mother's grave. He slowly started to tread through the flowers to get over to the grave and knelt down, examining the flowers. "...Violets..." he said quietly as he lightly laid his hand over them, "...H-how...did she know?"

Nanashi sighed softly. "...I know...I know..." he said quietly as he continued to eat. He honestly wasn't sure when he'd ever get to eat like this again after this trip was over. People seemed to show him a tiny bit more respect when he was traveling with the others, but just barely...unless they were like LaRae and Hikari and really didn't care what he was. He glanced over to her when she pushed the plate away. "...Are you finished?" He asked softly. He'd barely even finished one piece, though he was getting ready to start on the next.

Kyran looked over to Hikari when she sat down again and shrugged lightly. "I don't really know. I guess we could just sit here and wait." He said lightly. "Sonia had said that after dinner we'd be going to that wedding thing." He stopped directly after that comment and glanced over at Nero for a moment just in time to see Nero's entire expression change before he'd tilted his head down so his hair covered his face. He gave a small sigh and then looked back to Hikari. He hadn't been thinking about it really when he said that, but at least Nero knew now.

Nero didn't say a word, he'd just hidden his face a bit. Hearing about someone else's wedding dampened his mood quite a bit. He gave a heavy sigh and continued to sit quietly. He was really wishing now that Kana hadn't been in such a hurry to married; This trip might not have interfered had the girl had any patience.

Nobu looked back up at him for a moment; His tails drooping behind him. 'I'm sure that she still cares about you, as the person you are and not the one she wishes you were.' He paused. 'I do apologize though, I've lived many years but I've never had to deal with the emotional sides of dragons. So I have very little to say to try and comfort you.' He turned his head away and his tails picked up slightly at the answer to his other question. 'Directions huh... Hopefully you'll get those soon then. You're just a little more depressing to be around then usual... So I look forward to getting out of here myself.' He commented. He started to get a little uneasy when he noticed where they were headed, though he stopped when Celestine did and just sniffed at the air. Flowers? Those weren't there before. He looked up at Celestine and then watched when he started to walk into the trail. He hesitated for a moment but followed after him. He was at least glad the air around the place wasn't quite as bad. He turned to follow Celestine when he started towards the violets and then sat down off to the side with his head tilted to the side. 'How did who know?'

LaRae just gave a soft nod. "Yes. If I eat anymore and I'll be too uncomfortable to lay down." She said with a faint smile. She lifted her hand to stifle a yawn and then laid back on the floor again. She gave a light sigh. "...I really hope Celestine doesn't decide we're leaving tonight... I'm too warn out." She said quietly.

Hikari sighed softly when Kyran spoke and then looked back to Nero, her ears drooping slightly when she saw the way he reacted. She shook her head slightly and glanced back to Kyran for a moment before looking back to Nero again. She scooted to the edge of her chair and set her hand on his shoulder gently. "...You can stay here if you want. I believe about half of the others are." she said softly. She knew at least Nanashi and LaRae planned to stay behind. She was at least trying to be a little comforting; though she didn't know how well he would take it coming from her.

Celestine just stared, dumbfounded at the flowers. "...Who else could make this many flowers grow so quickly?" He asked softly. He knew that LaRae had to have been by here. "...But...how did she knows...violets were her favorite flower?..." he sighed softly and closed his eyes, leaning his head forward to rest against his mother's tombstone. '...Mother...I miss you... Why do we have to live so long? I don't want to be here without you...' he thought as he leaned against the cold marble. That was as close as he could get to her now. He sighed and opened his eyes, staring down at the name on the stone until it blurred in his vision as water found its way back to his eyes again.

Nanashi smiled weakly at LaRae and shook his head. "...Okay." he said softly. He nodded when she said that she hoped that they didn't leave tonight. "...I somehow doubt that we will." he said softly, "...Nero is the only one who likes traveling at night." he said with a weak smile.

Nero just barely lifted his eyes so he could look at the hand that touched his shoulder. His eyes then trailed from the hand up to the face and he just stared for a moment before glaring over at Kyran. It was obvious that Hikari must have known what was bothering him. He just shook his head knowing full well that Kyran must have leaked what he was told the other day. Though he should've known better then to share that with anyone, neither Kyran or Aamori seemed to be able to keep certain things to themselves. He grumbled quietly before jerking his shoulder away from Hikari and standing up walking away from the table. He didn't say a word and just walked right out of the kitchen continuing through the living room and straight outside. He walked over to the edge of the porch and sat down, tilting his head down again to hide his face behind his hair.

Kyran watched when Hikari set her hand down on Nero's shoulder and then he started to look extremely nervous when Nero glared at him. Just by that look he could that he wasn't supposed to go telling anyone. He averted his eyes for a moment, waiting until Nero had left the room before giving a relieved heavy sigh.

Nobu tilted his head to the side slightly. He wasn't well versed in the abilities of any clan other then the thunder, so he didn't realize right away who'd done this. Of course he felt silly for not knowing that an earth dragon could grow flowers. '...This kind of explains why Nanashi carried her back to the house...' He thought quietly before turning his head slightly to look around. He shivered slightly; This area still gave him the creeps and he could still see those who hadn't moved on. He shook his head from side to side for a moment before turning his head back to look at Celestine. He just sat there quietly staring at him when he leaned his head against the tombstone. He got the chills again and whined slightly. '...I give up...' He muttered before lifting his large paw up to his face and rubbing it. When he moved his paw from his face six slits appeared on his head in two rows of three, headed down to his snout. Moments later the slits opened revealing six pale lilac colored eyes. He rarely made his eyes appear mostly because he could see and sense things better without them. With them open he had less then average eye sight and now he couldn't see the spirits that were creeping him out.

LaRae glanced over at Nanashi as best she could while laying on the floor. She chuckled lightly. "..Yes I guess he is." She said lightly. "And I hope you're right about that." She paused. "If he did want to leave tonight I doubt he could be talked out of it just for my sake." She said quietly before shifting her eyes to see Nero walking past and headed outside. She quirked a brow slightly and looked back over to Nanashi. "...I think I'm glad I didn't go in the kitchen. Seems like everyone who's gone in there ends up leaving in a worse mood then the one they went in there with...."

Hikari looked at Nero for a moment sympathetically and then bit her lower lip when he glared at Kyran. She didn't move until he jerked his shoulder away from her and then just let her hand fall limply to her leg. After he left the room she sighed heavily and just fell forward in defeat, the gem on her forehead making a loud 'crack' as it connected with the table top. She shot back upright making a face and holding her forehead. "Oooow..." she groaned as she rubbed her forehead. She always forgot that thing was there and ended up ramming it further into her head. She sighed again and just lowered her arms. "...I should probably just give up already, shouldn't I?"

Celestine blinked hard when he heard Nobu muttering something and forced the tears back into his eyes again. "...So...you do have eyes..." He commented quietly as he looked at him. "...heh...one more set and you would look like a spider..." he said in a half-hearted attempt at making a joke. He reached over to rub Nobu behind the ears lightly. "...Oh yeah... we're supposed to be getting you something to eat..." he commented to himself, obviously trying to give himself a reason to leave. He sighed as he stood up and motioned with his head toward the forest. "...There should be something right around here..."

Nanashi just shook his head slightly. "...I could always carry you again." He said softly and then went quiet again when Nero walked by. He sighed softly at LaRae's comment and then shook his head. "...It seems that way..." he muttered softly.

Kyran's ears twitched when he heard the sound of her gem hitting the table. He looked at her when she held her forehead. "...You alright?" He asked after seeing the face she made. When she asked her question he just shrugged lightly. "...I don't know. I can't read him one way or the other. He goes around acting like this, but he was oddly nice and open when he was talking with Aamori and I the other day. Then he goes and is really nice to Sonia... I'm just confused." He gave a light sigh. "He seems to treat half of the group nicely and the other half well... meanly." He said quietly. "Then again, when someone's hurt regardless of who they are he seems to be a nice to them... If I weren't afraid of getting chewed out I might ask him why he acts the way he does."

Nobu looked at Celestine and blinked a few times. His eyes were rather blurry from not using them for so long; He was trying his damnedest to focus. '...Yes, but they're almost useless.' He commented lifting his paw up to rub at his eyes once he'd shut them. He dropped his paw and looked over at Celestine again, now at least being able to see him clearly enough. '...A spider huh? Then let me say I'm glad I don't have a fourth set of eyes. I'm sure I'm weird looking enough as it is.' His tails swayed slightly when he got rubbed behind the ears and he then he finally stood up again. He followed after Celestine when he started towards the forest; Though he was clearly a great deal clumsier then normal because he was having trouble walking and even tripped himself up.

LaRae shook her head as she looked over at Nanashi again. "...No, you've carried me more then enough for today." She said quietly. She scooted herself slightly so that she could rest her head on the floor directly next to Nanashi so she didn't have to keep straining her eyes to look at him. She smiled a little as she looked up at him. "...Well, everyone who went in and came back out so far has been in a worse mood... Except you." She said lightly. "Your mood is kinda the same..." She said with a small chuckle.

Hikari just nodded slightly when he asked if she was alright and then sighed after what he said about Nero being open when it was him and Aamori. "...Of course he was. I wasn't there." she said simply, "He runs off to his corner again whenever I come back. I just pretend I don't notice." she said with a sigh as she crossed her arms over the table. "...Yeah he was fine when I hurt my leg until you showed up, and then he dumped me off and handed me over to you." She recalled out loud, "I don't know... I have a feeling clan has a lot to do with it... As far as I know I haven't done anything to him..." she said almost miserably. She clearly really wanted to get along with everyone in the group, but he was making that really, really difficult.

Celestine almost smiled and shook his head. "...Just a little bit." He said in response to his comment about being weird looking. "...Hard to believe with all of those eyes you can't see a thing." he said as he watched him stumble all over the place. "Be careful..." he said as he put his hand on top of Nobu's head again to help guide him, "You're going to hurt yourself." He sighed softly when they reached the edge of the trees and continued forward. He could be so much nicer to Nobu when he was alone with him. He didn't know why it was so much easier for him to be himself around animals and so hard around other dragons. He just rubbed Nobu's ear as he led his forward and looked around for something to eat.

Nanashi looked down to LaRae when she shifted positions and smiled slightly. "...I guess so..." he said softly, "...I don't know why my mood should change... I wasn't involved in anything, really..." he pointed out, "...I just went in, got us some food, and came back. Maybe I wasn't in there long enough to be effected."

Kyran looked at Hikari a bit sympathetically. "Maybe I should've just kept my mouth shut." He mumbled before leaning back in the chair. "...He doesn't seem to want to be to LaRae or Nanashi either. Though, I believe that had something to do with the day of the festival... If I recall correctly." He gave a slight sigh. "As for when you hurt your leg... He'd hurt his arm as well. He couldn't have carried you up that tree root safely." He commented. "And unfortunately being the clans that you two are from could be a huge part of it. I wonder if there's something we don't know about the dark clan... Maybe something that is keeping him from getting along with you?" He paused and looked away briefly. "I mean, he is in the military after all... Maybe that has something to do with it." He said lightly as he leaned his head back to stare up at the ceiling.

Nobu's ears laid back slightly when he felt Celestine touch the top of his head to help him navigate. 'Well... The number of eyes has nothing to do it how well you can see if it's been over nearly five years since you last used your eyes.' He paused. 'It's like opening your eyes for the first time... The bright light floods in and your not sure what you're looking at and focusing on anything is just plain hard when there is so much around you...' When they made it past the tree line he followed Celestine for a moment before stopping and lowering his head for a moment. If one wasn't paying close attention they wouldn't notice his eyes shutting and the slits disappearing; They looked as if they were literally being sucked into his head. Once his eyes were gone again he lifted his head and shook it around frantically for a moment before looking over at Celestine. '...There... that's better..' He started walking again and went straight over to Celestine side again.

LaRae continued to look up at him and shook her head slightly. "You were too involved... You gave up your food, something I don't think I could've done." She said with a small smile. "That was really nice of you, though." She said quietly before lifting her hand again to cover her mouth while she yawned.

"Yes I know that he couldn't have carried me up; I didn't expect him to. Actually I was surprised he came over there to get me at all. All I meant was as soon as he heard your voice he set me down really fast." She sighed and crossed her arms over the table before leaning down to rest her chin on her arms. "...I guess there could be something... I really wouldn't know what. As far as I know my people have never done anything to provoke his clan. You would think I would have more of a reason to dislike him than the other way around. He can be such a jerk sometimes." Of course originally she was referring to something else, but she really didn't feel like getting into that with Kyran right now. "...Oh well. If he doesn't want to be friends I can't make him. But I won't stop trying."

Celestine just half smiled and shook his head slightly. "...Maybe you should use them more often..." he said softly, "I am pretty sure that if they aren't used they'll start losing what little function they have." He looked down at him again when he caught back up with him and shook his head when he saw that the eyes were gone. He sighed softly and finally spotted a fruit bearing bush and walked over to it. It was covered in milshal berries just ready to be picked. He walked over to the bush and picked off a few before tossing one toward Nobu. "Here." He said simply before he sat down against a tree with the other three, waiting for him to finish that one before he'd hold another out to him.

Nanashi smiled weakly. "...It wasn't really nice...just the way I was taught." He said softly. "...That's what I'm supposed to do." he finally started to gather their plates, raking what was left of her food onto his plate. "I"ll be right back." He told her as he stood up and started for the kitchen.

Kyran gave a small sigh. "We've only been on this trip for ten days, you can't expect to get along with everyone in such a short period of time." He said as he lifted his head back up. "...I'm surprised that so many of us seem to get along with one another, to be honest. I was prepared to have a lot of conflict between the lot of us." He said as he looked over at her. "...Just give it some time. Maybe he'll come around."

Nobu shook his head slightly. 'I can see better without them, which is why I don't use them all that often... Besides, I'm afraid of using them to improve my vision with them and then have it diminish my ability to see without them.' When he noticed the berry being tossed at him he jumped at it, eating it rather quickly. He walked closer to Celestine and then sat down waiting for another berry.

LaRae gave a heavy sigh after hearing Nanashi. She still thought what he did was nice, especially since he said he did it because he wanted everyone to stop arguing. That sure didn't sound like something he was supposed to do. She gave a weak smile when he said he'd be back and then shut her eyes.

Hikari just lifted her head again and sighed. "Yeah I guess so." she said simply. She shook her head slightly and then stretched out slightly. "I guess I expect too much." she said simply. She sighed softly and then looked toward the window. "...Oh well." she said simply, "It's getting kind of late... I wonder when that thing is..."

Nanashi just stepped into the kitchen and threw away what LaRae didn't finish before putting the plates into the sink. He looked down at the dirty dishes and then glanced back to Hikari and Kyran for a moment. "...So what's eating Nero?" he asked simply as he started to run some water, apparently intent on doing the dishes while he was standing there. He started to to slide the fingerless gloves off of his hands and tucked them halfway into one of his pockets. He glanced at his bare arm for a moment where he had a few scars on his lower arm where it looked like someone had grabbed him with their claws and ripped down his arm. He wore those gloves all of the time for a reason and he didn't really like taking them off, but he guessed that it was better than getting them wet. No one was looking at his arms anyway.

Celestine just held another fruit out to Nobu and sighed softly. He closed his eyes and waited for him to take it before replacing it with another and holding it out. He just repeated that until he ran out of berries and then just sighed and leaned back against the tree. "...If you're still hungry...the bush is over there..." He said tiredly. He still didn't really feel like being up. He was tired and he still couldn't really rest. He closed his eyes and stifled a yawn. He knew he told Sonia that he would eat, but he really wasn't hungry in the least.

Kyran shook his head lightly. "I think you just expect him to warm up to you immediately... I don't think you're expecting too much." He said as he glanced over to the window when she mentioned that it was getting late. He merely shrugged lightly and then turned to look at Nanashi when he heard him ask about Nero. "...Oh, he just found out about that wedding thing tonight." He paused. "And Hikari was being herself, trying to make him feel better... That's all."
