Hikari smiled again, "No, I suppose he didn't." she agreed, But I'm glad that he taught you...It's a little awkward when I have to lead." She said with a soft laugh. She glanced back when she saw Celestine and Aamori come over to join them and smiled at them, though Celestine seemed a bit preoccupied. She looked back toward the crowd and followed his eyes to the same girl that she'd been looking at before. She guessed he thought she was pretty, too.
Celestine glanced at Aamori and shook his head. "I'm trying to stay as far away from that nut job as I can..." he said simply. Finally he just stood there quietly once Aamori stopped talking, keeping his eyes on the other girl for a while, until she stopped dancing and looked directly at him. His cheeks flushed bright pink and he looked away quickly, trying to pretend that he hadn't been looking in the first place. He really hated to be caught staring at someone, especially a girl.
The girl who had been dancing finally noticed that she was being stared at because the same person was watching her every time she faced that direction. Normally, she wouldn't have cared, but something peeked her interest about this boy, or at least she assumed it was a boy...if it was a girl she was certainly making a good attempt at boy's clothing. She just started to walk through the crowd of dancers, easily stepping out of their way as she made her way over. She didn't mind, the song was about over anyway. The girl had long jade green hair, a few shades darker than Celestine's, but not quite as long. Her hair stopped at her mid back, though part of it was tied back with a large purple ribbon. She was wearing a white halter top with purple and green designs around the edge of the bottom, and a skirt almost similar to the one that Hikari had one. The shirt split all the way up the sides, though it was only held together in one spot by small golden bands on each side with little purple gems inside. The tail of the skirt came to her ankles and was decorated int he same fashion as her top. Like most wind dragons, her scales were a vibrant shade of pale green and her eyes were a deep emerald green shade, though hers has a few unique golden flicks scattered throughout. Her horn was ivory, like Kanone's, though it spiraled up from the front of her forehead more like the horn of a unicorn than a dragon. Her arms were decorated with golden bangles with the same purple gems inside as were her ankles. Like Celestine, she seemed to prefer to go without shoes. She walked right up to Celestine, stopping just in front of him. They were actually the same height. "Enjoying the show?" she asked simply as she placed one hand on her hip. She eyed him for a few moments and then walked a complete circle around him, lingering in the back to examine his wings. "I know you...I know I know you..." she said as she came around the front again.
Celestine suddenly became very fidgety as the girl looked him over. He followed her around him with his eyes and then took a step back when she came around the front again without saying a word.
The girl laughed quietly at his reaction and then noticed a glint of gold around his neck. She reached out to him and pulled the necklace from his shirt, staring at the large pendant at the end of the chain. The pendant was a golden oval with a large gem in the center. The gem was mostly blue, but it had flecks of green and purple inside that looked almost powdery, like the way colors appear on butterfly wings. "This was Celeste's...I knew it..." she said with a smile as she looked back to his face. "Celestine! It's been a long time." she said with a soft giggle. "What's wrong, don't you remember me?"
Celestine looked down at the pendant and then back to the girl again when she let it go to fall back to his chest. He opened his mouth to respond, but his voice caught in his throat, so he just shook his head, hardly letting his eyes move at all as his ears laid back slightly. He knew he should know her, but he couldn't remember her at all. He was acting so nervous, he felt like a five year old. Why couldn't he just say something?
The girl just shook her head. "...I'm Mariah! We used to live next to each other..." she said and then sighed, "Well, I guess you wouldn't remember..."
Kyiri looked up to Nobu when he got the dome off of her and meowed again, letting out another one of those long, pitiful cries. She pawed at his nose, obviously trying to get some help here.

Kyran gave a soft laugh. "A little awkward?" He paused. "And here you'd already offered to teach me if I didn't know how..." He grinned slightly. "Maybe I should've just acted like I didn't know what I was doing." His attention was rather easily snagged when he noticed Celestine and Aamori. Then even more so when the girl who was dancing before had made her way over to Celestine. He just stood there with a slightly quirked brow as the girl wandered around Celestine. He shook his head slightly seeing how nervous that Celestine was with the girl near him; More so when she said that they knew each other. He moved over to stand next to Celestine and looked at the girl offering a slight smile. "Mariah, was it?" He paused. "My names Kyran, you're quite the talented dancer." He said lightly.
Aamori's eyes had been trailing all over the place not sticking on one thing for too long before moving to the next. She shifted her eyes however when she noticed a girl approaching Celestine. She of course stayed quiet and just watched as the girl started to circle him. She gave a soft sigh when she noticed how nervous that he had become and then looked away when she heard the girl say that they knew each other.
Nobu jerked his head back slightly when Kyiri pawed at his nose. He just stared down at her for a moment before lifting his paw again and thrusting it hard against the brass knuckle causing it to pull from the porch and slide away from him; Releasing the belt. He then turned his head towards Nero half expecting to get scolded for that.
Nero's ears twitched when he heard the brass knuckle slide across the porch. He waited a moment and then opened his eyes as he stood up then walked past Kyiri and Nobu, then reached down and picked up the knuckle. He then slipped it back into his pocket before turning around and walking for the front door and slipping inside to the kitchen to retrieve his other one. He grumbled quietly as he put that one in his pocket too and then walked over to the table to sit down.

Hikari would have just shoved Kyran lightly when he said that he should have pretended not to know what he was doing. "Haha." she said simply before the other girl approached. She honestly was a bit surprised that Celestine knew this girl, or rather that she knew him. She thought that girl looked like the kind that every guy in the village would be after (though she did find it a little funny that she had yet to find a girl here that she thought was prettier than Celestine himself). She watched the girl speak to Celestine and then watched as Kyran went to introduce himself. She just smiled slightly, staying safely where she was.
Mariah blinked when Kyran spoke to her and looked over to him as if noticing him for the first time. "Oh... thank you." she said, offering him a slight smile. She was obviously wondering what a thunder dragon was doing here, not that she seemed too bothered by his presence. "I have been dancing sine I was little, it is a bit of a profession now." She looked back to Celestine again, "So are these friends of yours?"
Celestine just nodded weakly, still without making a peep. He didn't know if he considered Kyran and Hikari friends, but he guessed they were close enough.
She smiled again and nodded, "All then, nice to meet all of you." she said simply, glancing around from Kyran to Hikari and finally back to Aamori before looking back to Celestine. "...So...why so quiet? cat got your tongue?" she askes simply, "You haven't even said hi."
"...H-" his voice cracked and he cleared his throat quickly, his face turning a slightly deeper shade of pink. "H-hi."
Kyiri landed on the ground on all fours when the belt fell and shook herself, causing the belt to loosen. As soon as it was loose enough she ran out of it and ran straight to Nobu, running between his front paws to curl up under him like she expected him to keep everyone away from her. Clearly...she'd lost all interest in making friends with Nero.

Kyran gave a slight nod and then looked between Celestine and Mariah. He gave a soft sigh seeing how quickly Mariah dove right back into talking to Celestine; He was trying to detour her attention as to try to help Celestine not be so nervous. Obviously that wasn't working out quite like he'd hoped. Though, the girl clearly hadn't seen Celestine in a long time so of course she'd want to talk and catch up. He glanced back over at Hikari for a moment before getting an idea and grinned a little as he looked back to Mariah. He rather quickly switched his grin to a smile. "So Mariah, you've been dancing since you were little?" He paused. "...Then teaching someone shouldn't be all that difficult." He then pointed over at Hikari. "Hikari was admiring your dancing, though I think she was afraid of asking you about it." He paused. "Maybe you could try and teach her?" He asked pleasantly.
Aamori glanced back over to Mariah when she heard her ask if they were friends of his. She smiled faintly seeing him nod. Even if he didn't say it himself just seeing him nod to them being his friends made her smile; Especially since she wasn't an animal. She then looked back over at Mariah momentarily when she said it was nice to meet all of them. She gave a slight sigh and averted her eyes again.
Nobu watched as Kyiri got free of the belt and decided to make herself at home beneath him. He didn't bother moving her and gently laid his head down beside her trying his best not to disturb her.

Hikari's eyes widened when Kyran told Mariah that she'd been admiring her dancing. Her face turned red and she shoved his arm. "Kyran!" She sighed and looked back to Mariah for a moment with a slight smile. "Yes, I...I was watching you. I really wouldn't mind learning..." she said quietly. "My name is Hikari, by the way."
Mariah looked back to Kyran again and then glanced to Hikari. "From what I saw the two of you are already well versed." She said with a smile, "But learning what I do is not an overnight thing." she said simply. She glanced back to Celestine again and sighed softly. She wanted to spend time with him, not teach his friends how to dance. Her eyes trailed back to Hikari again and she smiled, "I'll give you a lesson or two a little later." she said simply, "This song is about over, and the next is probably going to be another slow one. They're alternating a lot." she said simply. The song ended only a few seconds after she finished her sentence and she half smiled before glancing over to the stage. "Looks like Kanone's done for a few minutes." she said lightly. Her eyes trailed back to Aamori again for a moment before she looked back to Celestine again. She smiled at him again when the music started again. She was right, it was another slow song. She reached over to take Celestine's hand and gave him a light tug. "Dance with me." she said brightly.
Celestine's eyes widened and he shook his head quickly, trying to pull back. "I-I don't dance." he said quietly.
"You used to." she pointed out with a smile.
Celestine's cheeks reddened again and he averted his eyes away from all of them. Yes he had danced once upon a time... like when he was five. He used to do a lot of things, but none of that mattered anymore. He used to dance, sing, have fun...
Mariah laughed softly and shook her head. "Oh come on, what's gotten into you? You never used to be this shy. Come on, you'll be fine." She said as she literally started to pull him forward.
Celestine just stumbled after her, obviously still wishing he was going int he opposite direction. "B-but I--" he started, but he gave up once he was out there. He just stood there stiffly looking extremely out of place here.
Mariah looked at him for a moment and then shook her head. "You can't dance if you don't move." She said with a soft laugh as she placed one of his hands on her waist and held the other. When he she finally started to dance, trying to force him to lead, but he still didn't seem to want to move his legs...or touch her waist. She had to replace his hand twice wen he stumbled and watched onto her elbow instead.
Celestine's cheeks were turning blood red while he tried to keep up with her. He still knew how to dance, but his feet felt like lead. He felt extremely awkward keeping his hand on her waste, especially since he was touching her bare skin. After about the third time that he stumbled he turned away from her and tried to hurry back toward the others, but he was stopped again when she grabbed his hand and pulled him backwards. Apparently where was no escape from this. He looked back to her again shyly and stood there for a moment before finally placing his hand on her waist again timidly and starting to lead her into the dance.
Kyiri just nuzzled against Nobu when he laid down and curled up, purring softly now that she was free and comfortable.

Kyran looked back at Hikari when she shoved his arm and then lifted his other hand to rub his arm lightly. He just gave a soft laugh as he turned back to look at Mariah when he heard what she said. He hadn't really thought anyone had been watching them dance, but he guessed they did stick out regardless of their dancing ability. He glanced over at the stage briefly when he heard Mariah say that Kanone was done for a few minutes. Although he looked back when the music started again and it was indeed another slow song. He gave a light sigh when Mariah insisted that Celestine dance with her. Once they were both gone he turned back to Hikari and gave a weak smile. "Well... I think I failed." He said quietly as he gave a slight shrug.
Aamori didn't look over at them again until she heard the exchange between Mariah and Celestine. She stood there quietly even when Mariah pulled him out there to dance. She averted her eyes again only to occasionally look back at them a couple times. She gave a heavy sigh when she noticed Celestine finally give in and take the lead. She tilted her head down for a moment and began fidgeting with her hands. She bit her lip slightly and finally lifted her head again before moving over to Hikari. She stood next to her and put her hand on her shoulder lightly before moving close enough to whisper to her so her voice wouldn't be heard by anyone else. "...I'm not feeling well. I'm going to go now." She said extra quietly before releasing Hikari's shoulder and starting to walk away, headed back towards the house; While not leaving anytime for Hikari to say anything.

Hikari watched as Mariah dragged Celestine out to dance and then shook her head as she watched him stumble all over himself. When he finally gave in and started to dance with her she smiled and shook her head before looking back to Kyran. "Yes, I think you did, too." she said simply, "I really don't think she's too interested in us." she said with a soft laugh. Her eyes wandered over to Aamori when she came over to her and touched her shoulder and she leaned over a little to hear what she was saying. She looked back to her, a little concerned when she heard the echo in her voice and then nodded slightly, though the girl had already walked away. "...Poor Aamori..." she said softly as she glanced back over to Celestine and Mariah again. She had a sneaking suspicion that her voice echoing was not the only reason, or even part of the main reason that she was leaving already.
Kanone came dashing over to the others from around the crowd, his fiddle still in hand. He skidded to a stop near Kyran and Hikari and then looked around. "Hey where--" he started and then looked off to the side. "Oh never mind!" He said quickly as he started off up the road after Aamori. "Heeeeeey Aamori!" he shouted as he came up behind her. She smiled as he hopped around in front of her. "Hey... where are you going?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.
Celestine just closed his eyes as he danced with Mariah. Once he actually got moving, he was pretty light on his feet himself. Sure he was a little rusty, but that was one thing he didn't think that he would ever forget how to do. He finally opened his eyes and blushed slightly when he realized that she was looking right at his face. He blushed again and glanced away. "..."
"What's wrong?" she asked simply, "You have a hard time looking at me, don't you?" she asked with a soft giggle. "That is so cute..."
"...You...you're...really pretty..." he said softly, "...I just...It's awkward. I can't remember you that well..." He glanced back to her again. "...So...I don't know why...you're...being so...friendly..." he said slowly, trying to choose his words carefully.
"Well, because we are friends, silly... we have been for a long time. I've missed you, even after you ran away."

Kyran nodded lightly. "Yes, I have to agree. She was clearly more interested in Celestine..." He said quietly before noticing Aamori had come over. When she started walking away he quirked a brow and looked at Hikari. "Poor Aamori? What's wrong with her?" He paused. "Where's she off to already?" He questioned just before seeing Kanone briefly. He loosely crossed his arms over his chest and gave a sigh.
Aamori had been walking quietly, trying her best to leave unnoticed. Her head was tilted down and her tail had practically been dragging behind her. She gave a sigh when she heard Kanone behind her and started to lift her head slightly; Before she knew it he was already in front of her and she came to a stop. She looked at him for only a second before dropping her eyes again. She hesitated even saying anything because of her voice; Thankfully though he hadn't caught onto either of her earmarks. She stood there for a moment before side stepping him, mumbling while she passed by him. "...I don't feel well." She tried to keep anything she said to a minimum, hoping the echo wouldn't be too noticeable. She continued past him without another word.

Hikari looked back to Kyran again after Kanone left and smiled weakly. "...You mean you...haven't noticed?" she said softly. "...I think...Aamori likes Celestine a little more than she lets on..." she said softly, "...Didn't you see how she acted when that little harpy girl was hugging all over him, and now when she chose to leave?" she said as she glanced back over to Celestine and Mariah one more time. "I think she's a little down...since Celestine seems to like that girl."
Kanone blinked when Aamori spoke and then shook his head slightly. Where in the hell is that echo coming form? he thought as he watched her go. "...Hey wait..." he said as he tracked her down again. He dodged in front of her again and then raised his free hand to place against her forehead. "...You don't feel warm..." he said softly. "What's wrong?" he asked, looking a little concerned.
Celestine continued to dance with her silently, lifting his arm to let her twirl and then releasing her so that she could dance around on her own for a moment before coming back to him. He watched her closely now, and when the music ended, she pulled her close to him and smiled slightly.
Mariah smiled when they stopped dancing and then leaned forward, pressing her lips firmly against his for a moment. She grinned when she pulled back and let him go. She guessed she'd freaked him out enough for right now. "See you later, Celestine." she said softly as she turned to walk away.
Celestine's eyes widened and he completely froze when she kissed him. When she pulled back he was still standing there half frozen, though he let his arms drop to his side. He watched her walk away, his cheeks burning red now as he slowly raised his hand to his lips. Did that just happen? He stood there for a moment before finally turning around to walk back over near the others, though he walked right past them to the wall and leaned back against it. "..."

Kyran just stared blankly at Hikari for a moment, rather surprised that he hadn't caught on like she had. "...No, I'm afraid I wasn't really paying attention." He said lightly before glancing back out to Mariah and Celestine. "But now that you mention it..." He paused mid thought having been watching the two and seeing the kiss. He heaved a heavy sigh and looked back to Hikari while shaking his head lightly. "...I suppose after that it's better that she's already left." He commented quietly.
Aamori ignored him when he said to wait though she had to come to a stop once more when he got in front of her again. She gave a heavy sigh when he touched her forehead and said she didn't feel warm. She had yet to lift her eyes up and hadn't really planned on it; She kept them practically glued to the ground. Ordinarily she might have thought it nice that he seemed so concerned about her but she really just wanted to get away from everyone. "...It's nothing." She said quietly before side stepping him yet again and proceeding.

Hikari looked back when Kyran did and then blinked when she saw Mariah kissing Celestine. Well that was a bit bold... considering the circumstances. "Yes... I have to agree..." she said simply as she watched Celestine coming back in this direction, Her eyes followed him back to the wall and she shook her head again. "...She certainly seems sure of herself..." she muttered, sounding a little put off. "I don't think I am going to be getting those lessons." she said simply, "...Of course I'm not so sure I want them anymore if they have to come from her."
Kanone looked after her for a moment and then sighed softly, his ears drooping. "...Alright..." he said quietly. He shook his head and turned around, walking back toward the square again. He still wasn't quite done playing, he was just taking a break. He walked back over to Kyran and Hikari and sighed before glancing over to Celestine. "Whoa, he's redder than a sunburn on a red dragon's tail. What's up with him?" he asked as he glanced back to Kyran with a raised eyebrow.

Kyran watched only for a moment when Celestine walked back towards them and to the wall. He shook his head again and looked at Hikari. "...I don't think I'd want them either." He said quietly. "I doubt she was really going to show you anything anyway." He commented. "She seemed to have her eyes set on one thing from the beginning anyway." He shrugged lightly. "I'd almost willingly bet money that she couldn't even remember my name."
Aamori continued walking rather glad that Kanone finally gave up and left her alone. She wasn't so sure how much longer she could go with such short answers while trying to get him to go away. It didn't take her too much longer to arrive at the house. She stopped just outside of it for a moment lifting her eyes up to stare for a minute before giving a sigh and walking past. She half thought of going into the house, but the others would only return once the party was over and she thought she'd rather be somewhere that they weren't so she just kept walking until she came upon the bridge. She walked right up to the edge where she'd sat before and leaned against it briefly before deciding to go even further. She got down from the bridge and started walking off towards the lake. At least there it was quiet and relaxing, and away from the others.
Kyran glanced over at Kanone when he came back over to them. He knew that Kanone had gone after Aamori, he was half tempted to ask about her but kept his mouth shut on that topic. His eyes shifted over to Celestine for a moment when Kanone asked what was with him. He shook his head slightly seeing how red Celestine was. "...Oh, that Mariah girl kissed him. That's all." He said rather dully.

Hikari huffed and crossed her arms. "Probably not..." she said simply. "I doubt she even heard it the first time." She looked at Kanone when he came back and snickered softly at his analogy. "Well..." she started, but Kyran finished the sentence for her. "Yeah."
Kanone's mouth fell open and he stared at them both. "...Are you serious?" He looked over toward the crowd and then sighed. "Man! I've been trying to get her attention for years and he gets back for one day and gets a kiss?" He rubbed the back of his head, "What's happening to the world?" He sighed heavily and shook his head. "Oh well... Um...keep an eye on him..." He said simply as he glanced over to Celestine again. "...There isn't a guy in this village that wouldn't like to have been in his shoes when that happened, and some of them are...a little...um...possessive?"
Hikari sighed softly. "Of course..." she said, shaking her head. "What is it with men and beating the crap out of each other over a snooty girl like that?"
"Haha... um...she's...pretty?" he said, rubbing the back of his head again. "But frankly, I think you and water girl back there make her look plain."
Hikari almost laughed, "Celestine makes her look plane in my opinion."
"Haha! That's true too.... um...I guess." he said, "...Okay that just sounded wrong coming from me."

Kyran couldn't help but laugh a little after hearing the exchanges between Hikari and Kanone. Though he had given a soft sigh when Kanone told them to keep an eye on Celestine. "You know, I'd honestly hope that none of the guys here are rude enough to make a scene tonight. Then I'd also hope they weren't stupid enough to hold a grudge over night." He commented quietly with a light shrug. Either way it didn't really matter to him, he'd be sure to keep an eye on Celestine regardless. "I'll admit, I'd rather be in the company of a beautiful girl like Hikari or Aamori, rather then that girl. She doesn't have enough going for her, other then her looks and the fact that she can shake her ass around a dance floor..." He commented. "Anyway. Kanone, did Aamori tell you were she was going?"
Aamori continued walking briskly while staring at the ground. She hadn't realized how quickly she'd made it to the lake until she finally lifted her eyes a little. She gave a soft sigh and wandered over to one of the large boulders. She leaned against it for a moment while she reached down and untied her sandals then kicked them off while she climbed on top of the boulder to sit down. She brought her knees up and pressed them tightly against her chest while she rested her head down on top of them and then began staring out over the water.

Kanone nodded slightly to Kyran. "Yeah, well... they are that rude and they are that stupid." he said simply. He smiled slightly at his comment about Mariah and nodded. "I guess so... But hey, it's something to watch." He said with a slight laugh. He glanced away again, looking back toward the stage again. He wasn't sure when he was supposed to be back up there but he guessed it didn't really matter. His eyes turned back to Kryan again when he asked about Aamori and he shook his head. "Nope...just said that she wasn't feeling well and kept going toward the house..." he said simply. "...I was trying to stop her for a minute, but she just kept going around me. I got her long enough to decide she hasn't got a fever."
Hikari smiled weakly. "...She isn't sick. I think she just felt like getting away for a little while." she said softly. She looked back toward Celestine for a moment and then turned her eyes back to Kanone. "So...how long do you think he is going to sit there like that?"
"Heh...who knows. Want me ot go kick him and see if he moves?"

Kyran gave a sigh. "Well now... If the guys here are like that then maybe we should've drug Nero with us. He's creepy enough to probably keep everyone away from Celestine. And he wouldn't have to do anything more then just stand near him." He laughed softly. He wasn't really all that worried about it, he just assumed nothing was going to happen since it hadn't already. His eyes shifted from Kanone to Hikari and then over to Celestine for a moment. Kyran merely gave a slight nod when he heard what Hikari said about Aamori. "I do hope she went to the house..." He said rather quietly before glancing back at Celestine. "I'm a little surprised that he was even able to move himself away from the dancing..." He paused. "But feel free to go kick him if you want Kanone. I won't stop you."

Kanone laughed at Kryan's comment about Nero. "I'd believe it." he said as he shook his head. He turned his eyes back to Celestine for a minute and then grinned as he walked back to him and put his foot on his shoulder. "SO! Did you have fun?" he asked with a bit of a smirk.
The color had finally started fading from Celestine's face while he sat there. He was trying to think back and remember this girl...and he finally had remembered something about her. He startled when Kanone touched him and then looked up at him, his face turning another shade of pink. "Sh-shut up!" He stood up quickly and looked down at Kanone for a moment before turning around to walk off. "I"m all partied out."
Kanone fell over backwards when Celestine stood up, since his foot was perched on his shoulder. "Ow! ...Geez, alright!" he said as he started to push himself up. He glanced down to his fiddle to make sure that it was still in one piece and then shook his head. "...Geez." He stood up and brushed himself off before looking back to Kyran and Hikari. "...Well, guess I'd better get back up there." He said, making a face.
Hikari just watched the two of them and laughed softly, shaking her head. "...Those two act more like brothers than cousins." she commented softly. She watched as Celestine started to leave and then turned her attention to Kanone with a nod. "I guess you should. You're pretty good on that thing."
"Hehe thanks." he said before starting off toward the stage again.

Kyran watched the two and tried not to laugh. He kept his eyes on Celestine for a moment when he started to walk off. He then looked back to Kanone briefly when he said he needed to get back on stage. He gave a slight nod and then looked at Hikari. "Since Celestine's gone ahead and left the party, what do you want to do now?" He asked lightly.

Hikari smiled slightly at Kyran, finally turning her attention back to him. "Well..." she said thoughtfully, "We could..." she trailed off again, glancing behind her when she notice something move from the corner of her eye. She sighed when she saw three boys leaving the party, all of them about Celestine's age, or a little older. She didn't really like that considering that Celestine was barely out of site down the little sloping road. "Oh boy...I hope they're just going home..." she muttered quietly. She was going to worry about Celestine now after Kanone said that.
Celestine just headed down the road silenlty. He was still thinking back about Mariah. Like she'd said, they had live next to each other when they were little, and in a way they had been like childhood sweethearts. They were really close and used to play together all the time but now... apparently her looks had hone to her head while he was away. She didn't act the same way that she used to. He had noticed the change in her attitude, but he thought it may just be where she was or something. Hell maybe she was mad at him for leaving and just didn't want to say it. He still wasn't any better at reading girls now than he had been back then.

Kyran quirked a brow slightly when Hikari trailed off and then noticed what must have caught her eye. He shook his head lightly and gave a heavy sigh. "Somehow I highly doubt that Hikari..." He paused. "...Looks like they might have at least been smart enough not to start anything when he was around us." He commented quietly before starting to follow after them. He paused for only a second to look back to Hikari. "Shall we go keep an eye on him then?" He added lastly before walking again. He was pretty sure that Celestine could take care of himself just fine, but because they'd been asked to watch him he figured it wouldn't hurt to follow.

Hikari sighed softly and nodded as she started after him. "Yes...they would have to be pretty dumb to start something in the middle of the party." she said simply. She sighed again and shook her head. "I swear I will never understand teenage boys..." she said simply as she walked, crossing her arms. She was a little irritated that she was following these bullies instead of staying back there dancing.
Celestine just continued to walk until he got to the house. He paused for a moment and glanced toward the porch, seeing Nobu sitting outside with Kyiri. He half smiled and then shook his head and continued down the road a little ways to the bridge. He sighed and stopped there, leaning against the rail to look down at the water. He crossed his arms over the rail and leaned his chin down to rest on his arms. He was half wondering where Aamori had gotten to, but he guessed she probably went back to the house since her voice was acting up again.

Kyran slipped his hands into his pockets loosely and glanced at Hikari while they followed after the boys. "I doubt I could even begin to explain it to you." He said with a pause. "That's just something only we guys understand... Just like there are things about girls we don't understand that you do." He added with a light shrug. "...You can go back to the party if you like. I'm sure this won't be anything too big." He said with a nod as they soon neared the house. He paused for a moment and looked over at Nobu with Kyiri. "Hmm..." He thought for a moment. "Nobu, come here." He called out. "Come with us. You can lay back down in a few minutes." He said with a soft laugh before he continued walking.
Nobu's ears perked up when he heard Kyran's voice and then he lifted his head. He just laid there for a moment longer after hearing Kyran tell him to follow. He didn't really want to disturb Kyiri but he didn't want to disobey Kyran either. He took a moment but slowly stood up trying his best not to bother Kyiri too much and then got down from the porch and ran up beside Kyran.

Hikari shook her head slightly. "No...what's the fun of being there by myself? I don't know anyone but Kanone and he's busy." she said simply. "It doesn't matter, it's getting pretty late anyway..." The sun was already setting. She looked over to Nobu when she heard Kyran call him and half smiled. "...Bet those boys are going to love this..."
Kyiri twitched slightly and raised her head when Nobu started to run off. She laid there for just a second after he got up and then hopped off the porch and bounded after him. She was still walking practically right under his feet when she caught up to him, weaving her way through his legs.
Celestine's ear twitched when he heard someone approaching and he looked up to see the three boys walking toward him. He sighed an straightened up a little, turning around to lean his back against the rail. These guys didn't look too friendly, and when they came to stand in front of him, pretty much blocking him in, he sighed. "...Can I help you?" he asked rather dully.
The boy who appeared to be the ringleader sneered at him. "Enjoy the dance, twerp?" he asked coldly, "Who do you think you are messing around with Mariah?"
"...I think I've probably known her longer than you have and in case you didn't notice, she was the one dragging me around." he said simply.
The boy to the right just shook his head. "I don't like this kid's attitude." he said as he looked to the boy in the middle, "Let's just flatten his pretty-boy ass and get it over with."
Celestine just sighed. "Ah...so that's what you're here for." he said as he looked over the three of them. They were all at least six inches taller than him and much more muscular, but he didn't seem phased by it at all. "...Funny...I would have thought there would be more of you." he said with a slight smirk, "I hope at least one of you knows how to fight if you want to do much." Honestly he really wasn't in much of the mood for a fight, but he wasn't going to just stand there and let them wail on him either.

Kyran glanced down at Nobu for a moment and then noticed Kyiri. He shook his head softly before looking back over to Hikari. "Alright. If you say so... But I thought we'd try to go back for at least another dance." He sighed softly. He hadn't really noticed that the sun was already setting, but now that she'd pointed out that it was getting late it was more then obvious. He glanced back down at Nobu again when he heard what Hikari said and smirked slightly. "Should anything happen, Nobu should be more then enough to scare them off.." He commented before reaching down and patting the top of his head. It didn't take too much longer for them to finally come upon the bridge; Though when he came to a stop he stood on the other side of the bridge right where it started and flattened out his hand in front of Nobu's face, the motion enough to tell Nobu not to move yet.
Nobu wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to Kyran after Kyiri caught up to him. He was far too preoccupied with not stepping down on top of the cat or tripping over her. He looked up when Kyran touched the top of his head and his tails swayed slightly. He was rather curious to know what was going on since Kyran ordinarily would've just left him there on the porch. When Kyran came to a stop, he did too. Then sat down when he saw Kyran's hand motion. He tilted his head to the side slightly when he noticed the three boys crowding Celestine.

Hikari smiled slightly, "Well if it's still going we may be able to make it back for one dance." she said lightly before she stopped beside him. She looked down to Nobu and half smiled before turning her attention to the action on the bridge. She just bit her lower lip lightly and shifted her weight uncomfortably. She wanted to go smack all three of them but she was forcing herself to stay put.
Celestine finally pushed himself away from the rail and looked at the boys. "...Well, guys, if you're going to do something, get on with it. If not, it's getting late." he said simply. He waited for a moment, but when none of them moved he just shook his head and started to try to go around him. Finally one one who'd been wanting a piece of him grabbed him shoulder and tried to spin him around. He spun easily enough, just in time to see a fist coming for his face. He ducked quickly and spun out of the way, laughing as that boy's fist connected with his friend that happened to be standing behind his head. "Strike one." He said simply. He back stepped away from them before the one who'd gotten punched shoved the other guy back and then came after him as well. He jumped to the side quickly and threw his arm out, slamming it against the guy's back as he passed him and glanced back as he fell. "We could be at this all night you know." He said simply.
Kyiri sat under Nobu for a few moments and then growled when the boys started on Celestine. She hissed and ran across the bridge, jumping at the one who threw the first punch and latching onto his pants with her claws.
"OOW!! WHAT THE HELL!? Get this thing off of me!!" he yelled at the other boy who was just standing there.
