Nanashi looked directly at LaRae and Kyran, since they were the first familiar faces that he saw. He looked like he would have ran and hid behind one of them if it wasn't for the fact that they were so close to the others. He slowly stood up, the orb raising with him and staying the same distance above his head. He stepped to the side moving out form under it quickly since that seemed to be what was upsetting everyone, but the orb only hovered where he had been standing for a moment before darting over to sit in the air over his head again. "W-what is going on!?" He asked finally, his voice cracking as he addressed the infuriated fire clan.
The dragons were ignoring him, most still shouting complaints until the elder's voice Rose over theirs. "SILENCE!" That shut everyone up quickly and the crowd parted like the red sea to let the old man through. "There is no mistake." He said firmly as he looked at the orb floating above the young dragon half's head. He stepped closer and looked at him, "Clearly, this boy has something that none of you possess that makes him more worthy of the cause...otherwise one of you would have been chosen."
"But he is just a half breed!" one retorted again.
Hikari had finally managed to wiggle her way outside to see what was going on. "That does not matter. He still has dragon blood. It was mentioned that the members would not be picked based on a bias opinion." she pointed out.
"She is correct." the elder agreed, glancing back to Selenity momentarily before turning his attention back to the dragon half. "What is your name, boy?"
Nanashi stared at the elder for a moment blankly, his expression frozen in fright and confusion. When the glow faded and the orb started to fall, he quickly grabbed it from the air after it passed his eyes and then blinked, looking down at the little ball in his hand. The elder repeated his question, sounding a bit impatient. Finally he looked up slowly. "...N-nanashi." he said quietly.
The elder quirked a brow and then nodded, turning back to the others. "All seven members have been chosen. The rest of you may leave. The seven who were chosen are to remain here."
"Chosen for what!?" Nanashi asked, shaking his head. He seemed to be getting finicky again. Why was no one answering that?
"You will see. Come inside."

Kyran watched the other dragons start to leave, half of them grumbling as they left. He shrugged knowing his Clan didn't mind too much that he was chosen, he was one of their Diplomat's after all so he was probably the best choice. He looked down at LaRae for a moment when he heard the Elder say they should head inside. He set his hand on her shoulder seeing that she still wasn't in the best of moods. "See you inside" He said simply and walked past her following the Elder inside the building. He returned to his spot against the back wall. At least until everyone had come inside. He looked around the room for a moment seeing that the Dark and Water Dragon's had never left the inside of the building. They clearly must not have cared who the last chosen one was. He gave a soft sigh and rested against the wall.
LaRae was somewhat relieved to hear the Elder had stepped forward and quieted everyone. She had wanted to answer the questions that Nanashi had asked, but couldn't bring herself to speak. She sighed softly when she heard the Elder say everyone else should leave and the chosen ones needed to stay. She wanted to sneak back inside before the other dragons from her clan started to leave. Unfortunately she didn't get a step closer to the door before an Earth Dragon male had walked up to her on his way out. She could tell he was angry; Their Elders had only told them all one thing in common, shame would befall anyone who returned un-chosen. So of course the other seven Earth dragons were angry with her for being chosen over themselves. He hissed at her and angrily shoved her; Causing her to stumble back a few steps against the wall of the building. Each of the following from her clan did practically the same thing as they walked past her. They'd hiss or growl and then shove her out of spite. The very last of her clan was a girl about her same size and height who stopped and glared at her growling. LaRae just lowered her eyes to the ground, she wanted to tell every single one of them that passed by her what was going to happen to them but didn't when they all hurt her in some way. She started to say something this time though, before the girl could do anything "The Elders are goi..." She was cut off and all that could be heard was a loud pop as the female belted LaRae across the face with her hand and then stopped off. Her eyes went wide when the others hand made contact with her face; She lifted her hand to cover up the now red mark she had on her cheek. Her eyes watered lightly as she lowered them back down to the ground. She tried to warn her and she got smacked across the face for it. She bit her lip and stood against the building. She wasn't ready to go inside just yet, not like this.

Hikari sighed and shook her head, turning to go back inside before everyone had gotten out. Ishta was still in there, but when she saw Hikari return she sighed and started to leave as well, though Hikari knew that she wouldn't go too far. She simply walked back toward the front since she had a feeling that would be where everyone would be gathering soon, anyway. That was where the elder was standing at least.
Inside, the young wind dragon that had been chosen was still by the door on the opposite side of where Kyran was standing, though he was sitting now with his head handing, his silken jade hair falling over his face like a curtain. He did not seem thrilled at all about being chosen. He was most certainly not a social person and had absolutely no desire to stick his neck out for these people, or travel with a bunch of strangers from different clans.
Nanashi was starting toward the door slowly until he saw the first dragon shove LaRae. He stopped and narrowed his eyes slightly, gritting his teeth as the others did the same. What in the heck was wrong with these people? He growled lowly after the last slapped LaRae's face and growled. He walked right past the girl that was storming off, actually giving her a pretty mean look before walking up to LaRae. His face softened then and he gently placed his hand over the one that she held to her cheek. He looked a her with concerned eyes, but he didn't ask her what that was all about as if he already knew that she couldn't or wouldn't tell him. "...Are you alright?" he asked softly.

LaRae flinched when she felt Nanashi put his hand over hers. She was even more embarrassed now, she had not known any one was still around watching what had happened. She sighed moving her hand away from her cheek which in turn would move his too. She wiped her eyes and lowered her head towards the floor so that her hair would hide the mark on her face. "...I'm fine..." She managed to mumble just before turning towards the door. "...We need to get inside, the Elder will answer your questions then" She stated trying to forget what had just happened, at least for the moment. There were more important things ahead.
Kyran looked up when he saw Hikari enter and pushed himself up off the wall and started to walk towards the front, only a few steps behind her. Once at the front he stood off to the side of her and smiled lightly "You looked a little surprised..." He paused "When you were chosen" He glanced back over towards the Dark Dragon for a second seeing that the guy still had not moved. He looked very unpleasant and couldn't help feeling that guy would probably be the main trouble in the group of seven.
The girl had waited in the building through out all of the commotion and only looked up when the Elder had come back into the room followed by the Light and Thunder Dragons. She, not wanting to be left out followed after the Thunder dragon and stood behind the two; Focusing on the question the male asked the female. "You two know each other don't you?" She asked not giving the Light Dragon time to answer the male's questions. She was shorter then the two of them so she looked up at them, wanting to move up and stand between them. She smirked slightly "You must... That's pretty informal talk..."

Nanashi's ears laid back slightly when LaRae moved his hand. "...Alright." He said softly, again not wanting to push her. He put his hand on her shoulder for a moment and then followed her inside, staying close to her. "...I'm sorry... I wish I could do something." He said softly, knowing that she was upset whether she wanted to admit it or not. He glanced around once they were inside, spotting Hikari and Kyran along with the other two that he didn't know. He gulped when he saw Nero standing there and looked away.
Hikari smiled at Kyran and opened her mouth, almost ready to answer him when the water dragon interrupted her. She blinked in surprise and then glanced up to Kyran for a moment as if asking if this was a friend of his. After a moment she just half smiled, "Well, clearly you are not one for formalities." she said lightly, considering that for not knowing either of them she was very straight forward, "Yes, we have met before. ...Well today." she amended before glancing back to Kyran and trying to answer his question again, whether or not the other girl decided to but in, "And yes, I was surprised, I expected it to be Ishta, not me."
The elder simply stood at the very front of the room, waiting for everyone to get in and get situated before he would start to talk. "Are you coming up here or not?" he asked, his eyes flickering back to the jade dragon.
The wind dragon looked up, his eyes narrowed slightly. He looked for a moment as if he was just stubbornly going to sit there, but finally he stood and walked toward the front slowly, stopping a few paces from the black dragon before leaning against the wall again, still looking very disgruntled. He remained completely silent and kept his eyes to himself.

Kyran glanced down at the Water dragon who had forced her way into a conversation he was trying to have with Hikari. He looked over at Hikari and laughed slightly "Well... we didn't exactly introduce ourselves right away either" He said jokingly referring to how they had met. He looked back to the water dragon girl and smiled softly "Since you're now in this conversation let me introduce myself" He stated in a quite relaxed tone. "I'm Kyran" He paused and made a pointing gesture towards Hikari. "And this lovely lady is named Hikari" He stated then looked at Hikari with a smile.
The small girl scoffed hearing what Hikari said about formalities and yet was pleasantly surprised by how nice Kyran had been. She smiled after he introduced them "Ah! Finally!" She stated having wanted names sooner. She definitely liked to be in the 'know' more so since they'd all be working together. She took her thumb and pointed to herself with a grin "My names Aamori, of the Water"
LaRae stopped briefly when Nanashi put his hand on her shoulder "...It's nothing you need to concern yourself with..." She paused giving a small sigh "...You have enough stuff to deal with as it is" She glanced up hearing Aamori's voice and shook her head. "That girl..." She mumbled before walking again. She moved faster this time; to the front of the room and stood behind Aamori with her arms crossed one over the other. "Don't be rude Aamori, it really isn't befitting of a young girl" She of course was poking fun at her; They had become friends at an early age. She had not seen her in a long time, but she recognized that attitude anywhere. LaRae half smiled but caught herself. She was thankful for something to take her mind off her Clan for a little while.
Aamori turned around as soon as she heard LaRae's voice and glared at her, not angrily of course. "I'm not being rude!" She spat and then started laughing. She then moved closer to LaRae and nearly jumped on her to give her a hug. "It's been way too long!" She exclaimed happily.
Nero shifted his weight from one foot to the other. Then looked up when he heard that girl's voice; LaRae's voice. He was suddenly reminded of what she had done to someone in his Clan. He was surprised that she was even moving, he seriously thought she would be down for awhile longer. He smirked seeing that she was one of the chosen ones. Perhaps this whole thing wouldn't be that bad after all.

Hikari blushed slightly again when Kyran called her a lovely lady and was glad that he used her nick name rather than her real one. She smiled up at him and then glanced back to Aamori. "Well it is nice to meet you, Aamori." she said with a smile. She glanced back to Kyran and laughed softly, "And I believe there was a reason for that." she said simply.
Nanashi looked after LaRae for a moment and then up to the water dragon that...was apparently named Aamori. He tilted his head and looked at them for a moment finding it off that they knew each other that well. He looked ahead at the Elder and then to Kyran and Hikari before looking back over to the other two and then to the ground. He still just stood off to himself since LaRae walked off ahead of him.
The wind dragon looked up, his emerald eyes narrowed in annoyance at the other chattering dragons. He growled softly and remained silent for a few moments longer before finally speaking. "Can we get on with this already? I do not want to stand here all night." he said impatiently, looking at the elder.
The elder seemed more relaxed and a bit less hateful now that he didn't have an entire building full of bickering dragons. He seemed to be rather enjoying watching them associate with one another. He looked over to the wind dragon and motioned toward the others. "Talk to them, not me. I will start when everyone is ready."

Kyran's ears flattened against his head when he heard the Elder say he would start when everyone else was ready. He bowed softly and apologised for keeping everything on hold. He turned around for a quick moment looking at LaRae. He didn't say anything and figured she'd have picked up on the hint regardless.
LaRae gently pushed Aamori off of her when Kyran looked back at them. It was time to get this meeting underway. Once she had Aamori off of her she lowered her head slightly to hide her still red cheek with her hair. She sighed softly remembering she had walked away from Nanashi, she turned around to look at him and lifted her head only a little. Just enough that she could look at him from behind a few strands of her hair. She then held her hand out at a low angle, just enough to show that she wanted him to come closer.
Aamori gave LaRae a pout when she pushed her away, but knew she needed to be quiet now because the Elder was waiting to talk. She looked at LaRae once more, noticing the red outline of a hand on her cheek just before hiding behind her hair and quirked a brow. She wanted to ask now what had happened, but would wait until the meeting was done and over with.
Nero scoffed seeing how long it took for everyone to shut up. He too was ready to be done with everything and was even a little surprised to see that it took someone else saying something to get things rolling. He lifted his head so that he could see the Elder a bit better though he still wore a completely emotionless face.

Hikari turned back to the front and smiled apologetically to the Elder, bowing her head a little. She kept quiet now as well, curious to figure out what exactly their mission was. Hikari was like a sponge when it came to new knowledge, she would soak up anything that she thought she could learn from and she usually tended to remember it.
Nanashi was looking at the Elder until he noticed LaRae's moment to look back at him and noticed out outstretched hand. He slowly shifted forward to stand beside LaRae and looked up at the Elder again. He still wanted to hear the answer to the questions that he'd been asking earlier.
The wind dragon leaned back against the wall again and sighed, looking at the Elder expectantly. He didn't even want to be doing this so he wanted to hurry up and be done with it.
The Elder cleared his throat, "Alright, now..." he glanced to Nanashi for a moment and then began his explanation starting from the top so that he would understand it. "As most of you probably know, long ago the God Vahagn once tried to take over Arienh by attempting to destroy all of the warring dragon clans. However, the clans joined together just long enough to seal away the god before he could dispose of any more of the clans. These were the Elders of my Elders, centuries upon centuries ago. The magic they used to seal away the god was strong and placed in the form of a certain relic, and these relics were well hidden all throughout the territories and lest with strong guardians. Now... the seal placed on Vahagn is weakening and if something is not done soon, he will be released from the Central Peak where he is imprisoned." He looked around to his small audience and then continued, "Long ago, one worthy member from each clan was sent to face him... Now what you must do is find and retrieve the seven artifacts and take them to the Central Peak to seal him again." His eyes wandered over the group again and then came back to rest on Nanashi as if asking if he was up for the challenge. He did not seem to hold a grudge against Nanashi for being a halfbreed but as far as this mission wen even he was surprised that a half blood was chosen for the job. Perhaps there was something he did not see, but from what he did see... he would hot be surprised if Nanashi was the first one to die... as it was very likely that some of them might. "This will be no easy task." he said, directing the words to all of them, but his eyes remained on Nanashi for a few moments longer before turning to look each of them in the eye with a very serious expression.

Kyran stood quietly listening to everything the Elder had to tell them. He had already known quite a bit of what he was telling them, except for the fact that Vahagn's seal was weakening. This worried him slightly. Though he was more worried about the relics they would have to obtain before the God could get free. He sighed softly. This definitely didn't sound like an easy job and by the looks of it the Dark and Wind Dragons didn't seem like 'group' people. He glanced around the others and thought of something he wanted to ask. "I have a couple questions..." He paused "These relics, what do they look like? and how long before the God is free?" He certainly didn't waste anytime getting down to business. The sooner all questions were answered the sooner this whole job could be finished.
LaRae brought her hand back to her side when Nanashi came closer. She like everyone else listened quietly but hid her face again once the Elder was done talking. She couldn't help thinking that either way; Whether she was chosen or not she stood a pretty good chance to dying. She felt terrible, her Clan practically threw her to the wolves. She focused for a moment on something else the Elder had said, these relics they would be searching for; There was more then one and in each territory. She shuddered at the thought of returning home, even for this task. Maybe she could get out of going back to her territory somehow. She sighed heavily after hearing the questions that Kyran had asked, she too wanted to hear the answer to at least one of those questions.
Aamori glanced over seeing LaRae hide her face again and shook her head. She was ready for these questions to be over with so she could catch up some more with her friend. She seemed to be the least phased by everything the Elder had said, was she even listening?
Nero shook his head after hearing everything. He couldn't believe they had all been brought together for something that seemed so silly. He spoke up not thinking too much more on the subject "Wouldn't it have been easier to just have each Clan find the relics within their own Territory..." He muttered, his tail swaying behind him in annoyance. "...Then have one of you Elders take care of the rest?"

Hikari stood silently listening to the story with her arms crossed over her chest. She glanced toward the ground for a moment and then back to the Elder as she waited for him to answer Kyran's question.
The Elder looked to Kyran with that same serious expression. "You have about two days." he said seriously, "You'd better run."
"What!?" Hikari looked like she was ready to fall over, "Two DAYS!?"
Nanashi nearly choked, "That's it!?"
The Elder began to laugh softly, "Calm down, children, I am only teasing." He said. This guy still had a pretty goos sense of humor at least, even if it was a bit sick. "The barrier will begin to fade with the three moons align themselves. That will be in approximately five months." His amusement at their expressions started to face and he sighed, "As for the relics themselves, I have never seen them, I could not tell you exactly where they are or what they look like...but I know that you will know them when you find them. You were chosen because you not only have the necessary skills required for such a trip but somehow...you will be the one person most capable of finding and recognizing the artifact.
Hikari gave the Elder a disgruntled look after she realized that he was joking earlier but before she said anything he went on. She sighed and rubbed her temple.
The Elder then looked over to Nero and almost laughed, "You make it sound so simple. There are few capable of finding the items, and it will take all of you working together to retrieve them. each of you has your own particular abilities that will contribute to finding the artifact, it simply takes the one to lead you to it." she then laughed, "Besides, does the word Elder mean nothing to you? We are getting too old to do this sort of thing. Those who sealed Vahagn long ago were little older than you are now."
The wind dragon finally pushed away from the wall and shook his head. "Vengeful gods, this is insane." he cursed quietly. "I wanted no part of this from the beginning, and I now I want a part of it even less. Find someone else. I have no cares to travel with any of you." He said, though his gaze was narrowed mostly toward LaRae.
The Elder gave the wind dragon a look, "You have a sharp tongue for one so small, little one. You will go. There will be no replacements. Is that clear?"
He gave the Elder a rather dirty look but nodded before crossing his arms and leaning against the wall again, his glare nearly burning a hole in the floor.

Kyran along with LaRae and Aamori found no humor in the Elder dragons jokes and stared at him with sour faces. Kyran sighed "Only five months.." He was more or less saying that to himself, making a mental note. "You're Elders didn't make notes on what the relics looked like or even where they were?" He already knew the answer to that question but nearly couldn't believe it. They'd really have their work cut out for them. More so it seemed because at least two of the dragons wanted no part in this whole thing.
LaRae stayed where she was long enough to listen to the answers to the questions. She had watched when the Wind Dragon had it's out burst about not wanting to be apart of this and she happened to catch the way it looked at her. She sighed heavily and without saying anything turned around, side stepping Nanashi and walked towards the doors to go outside. She had every intention of being apart of this, it was her job now; But she needed to get out of the room. She was uncomfortable with Nero in the room, and now the Wind Dragon then to top it all off she still felt terrible about her own Clan. She placed her hand over the mark on her face as she reached the door. Should anything have been said to her she wouldn't have stopped, not even if the Elder called to her. She walked outside and sighed again, finally removing her hand from her face and tilting her head up to the night sky.
Aamori turned to the side slightly when LaRae started to walk away and wanted to follow her but she felt the chill coming from her. Something was wrong with LaRae and she wasn't going to follow her, at least not right now. She was also more concerned with everything that was being talked about at the moment. She turned her attention back to the Elder "So... If we have until the moons align can you at least point us in a direction. A place we should start first?"
Nero glared at the Elder with an 'excuse me' look on his face. He already wished he had not opened his mouth. He watched the Earth girl leave and half thought of following her. He had every intention of causing her more harm just because the guy she screwed around with was worse off then she was and now she was walking around like nothing ever happened to her. He also couldn't believe that half breed was still around, not to mention he was now apart of this job they all got forced into.

The Elder shook his head at Kyran, "The whole point of hiding the relic was so that they would not be found. I suppose that the assumed the seal was going to last forever." He said simply. He blinked when LaRae suddenly started to walk away and then sighed, turning his attention back to Aamori. "Since you area already here, I would suggest that you start here. Follow Kyran, he will find it eventually. If I were you...you would start in the last place that you would ever want to be." He said, glancing toward him. "Each territory had it's own areas that people try to avoid for one reason or another... if I was going to hide something, that would be where I would put it."
Nanashi looked back as LaRae started to walk away. He turned and took about two steps after her and then stopped and sighed softly, turning back around again. He looked like he wanted to run outside and stay here at the same time. "So in other words... think of the most dangerous area in the territory and try there first?" he asked.
"That is more or less what I said."
Joy... he thought as he shook his head.
Hikari looked over toward the wind dragon and then back to LaRae as she walked away. She'd noticed the look that'd been tossed her way as well and wondered if the two had a history or if the wind dragon was just being difficult.
"There is little more that I can tell you. Prepare yourselves for a long journey. All of the Elders are aware of the situation and the group should be welcome in any of the territories by their word." He handed a rolled up piece of parchment to Kyran, "That has been signed by all of the elders and will serve as proof of the group's authenticity should you have trouble gaining admittance anywhere anywhere." They had decided to do that simply because some individuals had trouble believing things without solid proof and may act a pain.

Kyran took the parchment he was handed by the Elder and bowed slightly. He then turned to look at the others; The ones behind him anyway. He was surprised to not see LaRae, he didn't see her leave. "Since we'll be starting here, I'll assume the lead" He paused knowing that probably wouldn't sit well with a couple of them but it was the most logical choice. "Another thing, I suggest that we start out on this tomorrow morning. It's late and I know that some of us could use this time to prepare" He stated more so referring to himself, he wanted some extra time to think about where the Elder could possibly be talking about here in the Thunder Territory. There were a few places that were considered off limits, but which one. He also thought this would give everyone some time to get everything out of their system since they'd have to work together for so long.
Aamori nodded in agreement with what Kyran has said. "I could use some time to myself..." She added "So tomorrow will be best for me. I'll be sure to be here bright and early" She said with a smile as she threw her hand up to her forehead as if saluting Kyran. She laughed lightly. It should be clear at this point Aamori was probably going to be the one to try and make everyone laugh.
Nero sighed not really seeing a way out of this, he slid his back down the wall he was leaning against and sat on the floor. His arms were still crossed in front of his chest and he leaned his head down resting it against his chest. He'd stay where he was unless told to get out.
LaRae stared up at the night sky, there was no cloud in sight; You could easily see the moons and stars that looked over Arienh. Just staring up at them relaxed her a little. Her cheek stung causing her to rub it softly. She started to walk closer to the wall that surrounded the area where they were. She put her back to the wall and slowly sat down. "...Why wouldn't they listen to me..." She mumbled quietly while she thought about her clan members from earlier. Sure they were mean to her, shoved her and even hit her but she felt so sorry for them walking blindly to their deaths. She felt terrible, part of her wished she could have saved at least one of them by giving them her place but by the sounds of it that would have been impossible. "I don't want to go back..."

The wind dragon sighed, looking at Nero for about half a second before pushing away from the wall again and starting for the exit. He would be here in the morning, though he wouldn't be too thrilled about it.
Hikari looked over to Kyran and nodded with a soft sigh, "Yes that sounds like a good plan." she said softly. She glanced over to Aamori and smiled slightly before glancing at Kyran again. "...I will see you in the morning." she said with a weak smile. She put a hand on his arm for a moment and then started to walk toward the exit, knowing that Ishta was going to want to have a few words with her before she left on this trip.
Nanashi nodded slightly to Kyran. "Yes, sir." he said quietly, half smiling as he halfheartedly mimicked Aamori's salute. His hand fell back to his side again and he looked back toward the door before turning to walk. He only got a few steps before he was stopped again.
"Nanashi," the Elder called after him as he walked toward him, "I have a question for you if I may."
Nanashi blinked and then nodded. "Yes?"
"I am a little confused as to why you were chosen. I do not doubt what you can do... but I wonder... who is your dragon parent?"
Nanashi stared at him for a moment, half dumbfounded by the question. "...My mother." He said softly.
"Yes, yes, but what is her name?"
His ears laid back slightly as he looked at him and then toward the ground. "...I...I can't remember." He admitted quietly, "It's been too long..."
"I see..." he said in a semi-understanding voice. "That is all. Go prepare for tomorrow."
He nodded again and then turned to leave the building again. Upon getting outside, he immediately started to look around for LaRae.

Aamori dropped her hand back to her side as she stepped closer to Kyran; Next to him but nearly three feet away from him. She was a little uncomfortable around him considering he was a Thunder dragon but wouldn't let anyone see that. "Bright and early" She stated looking up at him for a moment before turning around and starting to leave. She wouldn't go very far mostly because the Thunder Clan had been nice enough to set up small hut-like buildings around the main wall, one for each clan. The small buildings were equal distance apart from each other, lining the big wall. Each small building also had a placard above the entrance with the Clan's name above it. They had enough room for two people each, so it was more then comfortable for one. Aamori was on her way to her little hut to be by herself and get some sleep too.
Kyran smiled softly when Hikari touched his arm "Okay.." Then he didn't say anything to the other two when Nanashi started to do the same thing Aamori did; He only shook his head laughing a little. He watched both of them leave the room, separately of course and then he turned back to the Elder with a more serious look on his face. "I have something else to ask for your advice on..." He paused looking over at Nero briefly who was still sitting on the floor off to the side. He gave a heavy sigh and looked back up at the Elder. "What do I do with two uncooperative dragons?" He was really worried about how to defuse a situation that could occur. He worried more about physical fights among the group, Kyran was indeed strong but he wasn't sure he'd be able to stop all of the fights, more so the ones involving the Dark and Wind Dragons.
Nero didn't move nor look up when he heard Kyran's question. It was obvious that the Thunder dragon was referring to himself and what he assumed was the Wind dragon. He continued to sit, he was curious to know how the Elder would answer that question. He figured knowing what the Elder told him would give him a heads up and he could work accordingly.
LaRae gave a heavy sigh still staring up at the sky as if waiting for it to answer all her questions. She had not noticed the others slowly filtering out of the building; She didn't really care what they were doing or where they were going. "..."

The Elder stared at Kyran for a moment when he asked the question and then glanced over to Nero. "That is only one more thing that will make the trip hard. Rivalry between the clans is a bit too deep seeded to avoid... you will just have to work with it or around it. This is one of those times when it is best that everyone swallows their pride and cooperates together. They will learn that eventually. Sometimes when people spend enough time together they start to realize that they are not quite as different as they think they are." he said pretty surely. A moment later he looked over to Nero again and folded his arms. "Do you intend to camp out in here all night?"
Nanashi did not take long finding LaRae by the wall. He stood a good distance from her for a while and just looked at her, debating on whether or not he should go to her or leave her be. After a bit he slowly moved toward her, his ears laid back slightly as he lowered to his knees to sit down to the side of her, though he was turned so that he was facing her. "...Hi." he said quietly, as if unsure of a better way to start speaking to her. His ruby eyes almost seemed to glow in the moonlight as he looked at her, and they still held that silent concern that he was apparently trying to keep from his voice. His eyes were the always full of expression. One only had to look there to gather exactly what he was feeling.

Nero opened his eyes and looked up at the Elder when he spoken to. He pushed against the wall and stood himself up; Not saying a word. He kept his arms crossed in front of him at his chest as he turned and started to walk towards the door. He had heard enough anyway, and nothing important seemed to be said. He turned his back to the door and used it to push it open so he could exit the building. Once outside he looked around; Noticing those two from before over by the wall and glared. He'd screw with them later for now he was going to go to his little hut-building and rest.
Kyran simply nodded hearing what the Elder had said, though it didn't answer his question quite the way he had hoped. He looked up and over at Nero when the Elder said something to the Dark dragon and watched the guy leave. He turned his attention back to the Elder "I seem to be full of questions..." He started then paused. "If a fight should occur, what should I do?" He sighed feeling silly for asking so many questions. Though, he really wanted to know what the Elder had to say, more so on this topic then any of the others. How would someone stop a physical fight between two or more dragons before one of them died? Kyran was more worried about this then he thought he was, mostly because he wasn't sure any of the other dragons would want to break up a fight should one happen.
LaRae slowly brought her eyes down from the night sky when she heard Nanashi's voice. She then brought her knees up and rested her head on them, laying her head to the side so she could see him. She flinched slightly when she pressed her face on her knees, the sting of her cheek still bothering her. The color had since faded but the sting had not. She sighed softly trying to force a smile "...So... looks like we'll be spending a lot more time around one another" She said in a quiet tone.

The Elder watched as Nero left and then looked back to Kyran. "At best just try to make sure no one kills anyone." he said, stating the obvious. "They are most certainly going to be pointing out their differences and it will not be pretty, especially in the first few days or weeks. I am sure you will not be the only one trying to keep the peace. Miss Hikari, as she calls herself, seems to have a pretty good head on her shoulders, and the dragon half seems too timid to try to cause trouble. The wind dragon is small...and young I believe that she simply has a big mouth, she does not look as if she would attack anyone. I believe your worst problem will probably be that one." he said, motioning to the door where Nero just left.
After leaving the main building the wind dragon had gone out to look at the little huts that had been set up. He went inside and put his things that he'd left outside the building before going in away, but then he came back out and laid across the roof of the little building with his arms folded behind his head. He just stared up at the moons and sighed. Five months to stop this god from breaking loose... and five months of traveling with these people... He was going to go nuts.
Nanashi tried to smile back when he saw her putting one up. "...You don't have to smile if you don't feel like it." he said softly. He sighed then and then drew up one knee, resting his head on it similarly to the way that she did, so he could look at her. "...I really...do not want to go. I don't know what he expects. I am not even a dragon, what can I do?" He half smiled and turned his eyes toward the ground. "...I guess I really shouldn't have followed you... I get myself into more messes than I know how to get out of sometimes..."

Kyran stood quietly listening again, he was sure that Hikari was nothing to worry about and of course Nanashi wouldn't do anything, that much was obvious. He sighed. "I'm concerned about the Earth and Water dragons too" He paused not believing that he had just said that, but continued on anyway. "Aamori of Water doesn't appear to have any structure and I fear she will opening antagonise a few of the others. Then LaRae of Earth, she seems to make a lot of enemies easily and she looks like she has something more important on her mind then the task at hand..." He stopped, knowing the Elder couldn't do anything about what he had mentioned. Kyran said what he had more as a way to get it off his chest rather then asking for an answer.
LaRae sighed "You're a dragon half. You're still a dragon. You were chosen because you're special..." She said looking at him a little more closely. She caught herself and dropped her eyes again. When she heard him say he shouldn't have followed her she sighed again "...People who follow me or are around me, end up dying..." She mumbled not even realizing she said it aloud. She thought she was thinking it so it didn't phase her in the slight-est when the words came out.

The elder chuckled again softly, "Aamori... another youngest with a big mouth. It seems you are the eldest of these members, you will just have to try to keep them in line the best that you can." He looked a little more serious and then sighed, "The Earth clan has many strange habits that no one knows of but them. I noticed there was a scarce number of members present today... I am sure you probably ended up with the best available. At least she seems to get along with most of the others who were chosen. The dragon half seems to trust her well enough, that must say something." He smiled at Kyran again and placed a hand on his shoulder gently, "I am sure that you will be able to handle anything that comes your way. I have enough faith in you." He laughed again softly, "Why don't you try talking to the others and try to get a little understanding rooted in from the beginning. I'm a few generations behind the lot of you, you know better how young minds think than I do."
Nanashi blinked and raised his head slightly. "...Is that what's wrong?" he asked softly, "...Do you think someone is going to die?" he looked a little worried but after a moment he laid his head back down. "...I would be little worse off." he said softly, "But....you shouldn't worry about that..." he tried to tell her, "...Things happen, it...it doesn't really mean that it's because of you."

Kyran sighed and nodded, if anything the Elder was at least wise beyond years. "The Earth Clan worries me slightly, I have heard stories of how different they are from the rest of the Clans. I hope that doesn't interfere with this journey" He stated before bowing and taking a step back. "Thank you for your time Elder" He then turned around and began to exit the building himself. Once he made it outside he gave a sigh glancing around seeing the most of them had gone to their perspective huts. He looked up at the night sky for a moment before he started to walk over to his. He stood outside of it, with his back to it; Thinking. He also wished he had a suit of armour to protect him for tomorrow. Then he remembered he was the one who had to guide them all in the morning and then he gave a defeated sigh and crossed his arms over his chest. "...Where...?" He muttered trying to think of a place to start.
LaRae looked up for a moment seeing Kyran had finally left the building. She kept her head up but lowered her eyes back to the ground. Then she realised what Nanashi had said and sighed, she must have been talking out loud. She was a little embarrassed but since she had already started, why not continue. "...You don't understand how my Clan works..." She mumbled "...Every single Earth dragon that left here today will be slaughtered upon entrance to our territory... By order of our Elders" She shivered at the thought. She paused. "I wasn't supposed to know about it; I tried to warn them..." She never looked up, nor did she move. She kept her eyes glued to the ground while she sat and thought some more about it.

The elder nodded to Kyran as he backed away. "You are welcome, Kyran." he told him before he left.
The wind dragon's ears twitched as he heard someone walking out toward the huts. He sat up slowly and looked down, watching Kyran walk by in silence. He followed him with his eyes and sighed, stretching a little as he eyed Kyran from the roof of his hut. Kyran's hut was only one over from his, so he had a fairly good view of him. He could tell that the guy was deep in through and could only assume what he was thinking about. He groaned and laid back down again, closing his eyes for a moment before glaring up at the moons. Why did the world's problems have to dump themselves in his lap. He could hardly care if this god broke free or not so long as it left him and his little cave alone.
Nanashi raised his head, his ears perking slightly at her words. "What? Wh-why?" he asked quietly. His wide ruby eyes rested on her head as he tried to figure out why they would want to kill those dragons. He finally realized why she was so upset at least. He reached out to her and put his hand to the side of her face. "...LaRae.... you tried..." he said softly, his ears laying back as he gave her that empathic stare. "That...that's terrible..." He said quietly. Nanashi was one of those that believed that everyone and everything should have a right to live, he did not condone killing at all even in spite of the way that people treated him. "...But...there...is nothing....you could do..." He said softly.

Kyran continued to stand outside of his hut thinking a little bit longer."..all this thinking is giving me a headache..." He mumbled under his breath. He stood up straight and stretched his arms out over his head; Yawning softly. He then turned and went into his hut to go to sleep. He'd get up really early and figure everything out then.
Aamori has slipped out of her hut on the other side of the wall, directly on the other side of Kyran's hut. She had a few questions that she wanted answered and thought of only one person to ask. She walked around to the different huts looking up at the name placard until she finally found the one she was looking for. It was Kyrans. She sighed seeing it was closed up, which meant he must have gone to bed already. She happen to glance up and see the Wind dragon on top of the hut next to Kyrans. Aamori wasn't quite ready to sleep yet so she walked over to it's hut and looked up, her pale blue hair sliding back over her shoulders. "Hey" She started "Miss Wind Dragon..." She paused "You're really pretty" Her tone made her sound like a little child. She stood, still looking up waiting for a response.
LaRae's golden eyes shifted over to look down at his hand; Though her head never actually moved. She sighed softly feeling a little better that she was able to talk about this somewhat. She also felt better about talking to Nanashi about it because he was stuck in the group now so the circumstances were different. "Our Elders frown upon what they call 'weak' dragons. Every last one of us that showed up today fell into that category" She paused "The 'weak' dragons get filtered out of the bunch of us and sent to slaughter without knowing it. It's like the Elders way of keeping the best of the best... So to say" She wore a blank stare, purposely leaving out the end of this topic; The part that explained what was going to happen to her.

His ears twitched and he growled lowly. Not again... He say up, glaring down at Aamori as the tip of his tail flicked about irritable. "Do not call me 'miss!'" he hissed at her, "I am not a girl!" He didn't know how many times this had happened, way too many for him to couch, and every time it annoyed him just as much. He was not what you would call handsome, he was more in the realm of beautiful. There were a good many girls that would kill for his hair or eyes or even his skin. Considering his usual living conditions, it was hard to believe he was able to keep himself so tidy.
Nanashi's eyes widened slightly as two and two quickly snapped together in his mind. Nanashi was a bit slow in areas, but he was by no means stupid, so it didn't take him long to realize what that meant. "Then you..." he started quietly and then trailed off. He stared at her, his ruby eyes full of real worry as he lightly gripped her arm, "After this... they couldn't possible consider you weak after this... c-could they?" he asked desperately. He shook his head, "That is insanity, they...they can't..." he faltered, running out of words. They could...and they did so it seemed. He shook his head and after a moment and then raised his other arm to slip around her shoulders. He didn't have any idea what to say now, but it was clear that he knew what she wasn't telling him.
