Kanone just continued to stand there for a moment until Kyran passed him and then he finally looked around slightly and saw a couple of people peeping at him from their doorways. He finally forced himself to start moving forward again and came to a stop just behind Kyran and lowered his eyes again before he just closed them. He took another deep shaky breath, trying his best not to cry again, at least not yet. He and his mother might not have been as close as some, but they were still pretty close. They were all they had left, especially after Celestine left. At least now he could say that he knew how Celestine felt having lost his entire immediate family.
Marius kept his eyes down for a moment and sighed softly, nodded slightly when Kyran apologized. He didn't seem surprised at all by the news. When he heard Aamori start to ask her question. "...Yes..." he whispered quietly, closing his eyes again for a moment. After a second he looked up to Kanone again. "...Take her inside, Kanone...lay her on the bed," he said gently. The downstairs bed already had blood on it form Celestine's clothes so he didn't see what anymore would hurt. He looked down at Sonia again before Kanone could move, "...and cover her..." he add quietly. He looked rather pale now him self after seeing her in person and almost like he was going to just fall over. He turned his eyes back to Kyran again and looked at Celestine before he slowly stepped off of the porch and rested his hand on the boy's shoulder. "...I can take him." he said quietly. He didn't really expect Kyran to just stand there and hold him. He could already see that Celestine hadn't gotten any better at accepting death, at least not in his family. The boy was just too stubborn to cry and move on.
Celestine still didn't move, at least not until he heard Marius's voice once they reached the house, then he nearly tried to borrow his face into Kyran's chest. He couldn't face Marius right now. Not after what Kanone had said, because he knew it was true. Even if Kanone didn't mean to say it, the damage was already done. He already knew that he had messed up by telling Kanone anything. After all he was always the one saying that the future wasn't certain. He should have known better than to go trying to change things. They probably would have been better off if he had stayed on that mountain. All he wanted to do was go back there. He couldn't face either one of them now. He just tried to press himself closer to Kyran when Marius laid his hand on him.
Hikari had finally gotten her comb and brushed her own hair out before she returned to the other bedroom again to let LaRae borrow it. She was a little surprised to see Nanashi in there, but she invited him to stay anyway. Even with the invitation however, he still decided to leave. She ended up just laying on the bed on her stomach with her feet waving in the air behind her as she stared out the window, completely oblivious to what had been going on with the others. She had noticed Aamori's absence when she came back to the living room, but she didn't really think on it.
Nanashi had finally just gone back to the living room once Hikari got back, though he had just been standing up there hugging LaRae until just a few seconds before she had gotten there. He didn't want to intrude too much, and since he was standing in the girls' room he decided that the couch was just as good of a place to hand out. He blinked when the door opened and Nobu came inside and then tilted his head slightly as he watched him hurry in. He looked at the door again and half thought about going to see what was up, but he decided to just wait.

Kyran continued to stand there quietly though he had looked down briefly at Celestine when he tried to burrow his face into him. He then glanced back to Kanone for a moment when he noticed him come to a stop just behind him. He sighed softly when he heard Marius answer Aamori's question. His eyes shifted back to Kanone for a moment when Marius started instructing him on what to do. He gave another sigh and then glanced down at Celestine when Marius stepped closer and can said that he could take him. He was about to say 'okay' and let Marius take him but after Celestine tried to get even closer to him he shook his head. "It's alright, Marius." He started. "I've got him." He nodded slightly. "Besides, I think Kanone may need you more right now." He said quietly. He had gotten the impression that Celestine didn't want to be with Marius right now, so he was at least trying to get Marius to just leave him alone for right now.
Aamori stared at Marius even after he answered her question. After a moment she pulled her eyes away and lowered them. She had nothing more to say, or ask and she just felt sad. She'd never experienced a death like this one and hoped that she never had to. Just being someone who kind of knew Sonia was hard enough, she couldn't begin to imagine what it felt like being related to her or growing up around her. She lifted her eyes for a moment to look over at Kanone again. She felt the worst for him and didn't like seeing him look so hurt. She preferred seeing him joking around and smiling. She lowered her eyes again and sighed softly. She had a feeling it was going to be awhile until they were all acting like themselves again. She kept her eyes low for a bit, at least until she heard Kyran and Marius. She looked over to Celestine and shook her head lightly. It was normal for Celestine not to talk a whole lot, but in this case she was worried about him. Especially since he was just barely moving at all.
Nobu stopped rather abruptly once he was inside and looked around a little. He wanted somewhere to bury his nose. He looked over at Nanashi on the couch and then quickly moved over, jumping up on the couch in the process. He laid down on the couch pretty close to Nanashi and then laid his head down beside Nanashi so that his nose was practically touching his leg. He'd definitely rather smell Nanashi then blood.
LaRae was a little surprised to see Hikari come back to the room with the comb, especially because she had told her she'd just use her fingers. She took the comb anyway when it was offered. She was a little disappointed that Nanashi had left when Hikari came back, and even after she invited him to stay. She stayed in the room after he'd left and moved back over to the bed to sit on the edge and work the comb through her hair. She'd really done a number on her hair after the night of sleep, thankfully having it braided throughout the night seemed to reduce the number of tangles and knots so she managed to get her hair brushed out in no time. Once she had finished she looked back to Hikari and held the comb out. "..Thank you for letting me use this again." She said quietly. She really did think she needed to get her own comb. It'd be a lot easier then always having to use Hikari's.

Kanone nodded weakly to Marius and then slowly stepped around Kyran and up the steps by Aamori, though he stopped again once he was on the porch since he couldn't exactly get the door open with his hands full, and he wasn't about to put her down. He slowly glanced over to Marius for a moment and then lowered his eyes again.
Marius looked at Celestine for a moment, also noticing the way that he was pressing himself to Kyran to get away from him. He sighed softly and then nodded before he looked back to Kanone again and realized that he was still out here, though he'd forgotten that the door was closed. He turned around again and started back onto the porch, letting his hand fall away from Celestine as he turned. Once he got to the porch he passed Aamori and went to open the door for Kanone. He looked at him and gently placed his hand on his shoulder before motioning with his head for him to go on. Once he started in he went in right behind him.
Once the door was open Kanone looked up to Marius slowly and then stepped inside, turning sideways so that he didn't hit Sonia's head on the door frame. Once inside he just started down the hall to the room that they'd had Celestine in since he assumed that was the room that he meant. Once he reached the room he stood beside the bed for a moment and then finally laid Sonia down on the bed. He just stood there staring down at her once he'd laid her down. He couldn't seem to make himself cover up her face; he couldn't look away long enough.
Marius followed Kanone to he room quietly, hovering by the door until he realized that Kanone wasn't going to cover Sonia up. He sighed softly and stepped into the room, taking the sheet from the bottom of the bed and slowly pulling it up over her. He paused when he got to her neck and looked down at her for a moment himself before he finally pulled the sheet over her head and laid it down. He looked at Kanone for a moment and then raised his hand to his shoulder again and let it rest there for a moment, though that only seemed to trigger the upcoming breakdown. He soon found himself with both arms wrapped tightly around Kanone, rubbing his back and trying his best to soothe him. "...I know..." He whispered quietly, "I know..."
Kanone still stood there until Marius had covered her face for him then he slowly looked over to him again. Seeing her face covered like that only made it hit home even harder. Once Marius touched him he finally just broke and turned around, clinging to the front of Marius's robes as he burrowed his face into his chest and began sobbing so hard that he could barely breathe.
Celestine seemed to relax only a little when Marius left him alone, but he still kept his face well hidden in Kyran's chest. He didn't want to look at anything else, but he didn't want to close his eyes either, mainly because he was having about the same problem that Marius had earlier; he felt sick every time he thought about it, and he saw her every time he closed his eyes. Normally he probably would have already been telling Kyran to put him down, but this time he didn't even care that he was being held like a child. He almost felt like one again. Slowly he finally raised his head out of Kyran's chest only to look up to him with that blank, distant stare that seemed plastered on his face. His eyes weren't even the least bit watery, but what part of him was still there looked completely miserable. It was almost like he had just died with her, only he was still breathing.
Nanashi looked at Nobu when he ran and jumped on the couch beside him and then smiled slightly and put his hand on his head lightly and stroked his fur. "...What is it, Nobu?" he asked softly, "Is something wrong?" He wasn't expecting an answer, but he always talked to animals like they could understand him. Half of the time he thought they listened better than people did. He looked up again when the door opened again and his breath caught as the smile faded from his face and his hand fell still on Nobu's head. He caught the expression on Kanone's face before he noticed Sonia in his arms. He watched as they went to the bedroom and could only sit there silently without moving an inch...at least until he heard Kanone sobbing all the way in here. He slowly curled his fingers up in Nobu's fur, though he wasn't really holding onto it. He barely knew Sonia, but she was kind to him, so he was sad to lose her...though he would have been upset even if she wasn't kind to him, just because he knew how badly it had to hurt Kanone.
Hikari looked back to LaRae when she finished with the comb and smiled. "You're welcome. You can just lay it on the night stand, I'll get it before we leave." she said lightly as she looked back out the window again and stretched out a little more.

Kyran watched while Marius turned away to help Kanone into the house. He was relieved that it didn't take very much to get him to leave Celestine alone for the time being. After they had gone inside he started to look back down at Celestine in time to notice him look up at him. He had half expected Celestine to be breaking down as noticeably as Kanone was, but he wasn't. He sighed softly and shifted Celestine's weight a little in his arms. He really wasn't sure what to do or what to say at this point. Had Celestine started crying, that might have been a different story. It was a little easier to console someone who was crying and letting out the fact that they hurt, as compared to someone who kept it all bottled up. You probably couldn't even tell the state in which Celestine was in unless you looked at his eyes, at least they said enough to get the point across. He shifted his glance and looked over at Aamori who was still standing on the porch. After a moment he finally started to move a bit and stepped up onto the porch. He turned a little and moved over towards the end a little and then knelt down so that he could set Celestine down with his back against the house. He looked back over at Aamori as he pulled his hands away from Celestine. "...Aamori, can you sit here with him?" He paused. "I want to make sure that the others are informed of what is going on..." He really didn't think the others needed to just stumble upon what had happened. It was hard enough on Marius, Kanone, and Celestine as it was he didn't think they needed to deal with the others asking questions. Then again he wasn't so sure it was his place to go telling everyone about it. He glanced back down to Celestine and sighed once more before reaching over and resting his hand on his shoulder gently. "...I know things look grim..." He paused. "...But you will survive this, just like Kanone and Marius will." He said softly before pulling his hand back and standing up. He took a couple steps back and then started for the door, pausing for a moment as he looked at Aamori again. "I'll be back in a little bit." He said lastly before opening the front door and slipping inside.
Aamori had looked away when Kanone started up the steps to the porch and in the process lifted her hand to cover her mouth and her nose. Just the sight of all that blood was enough to unnerve her slightly. She waited until Marius had helped Kanone inside before lifting her eyes again and dropping her hand back to her side. She looked at Kyran and then dropped her eyes to Celestine, then watched as Kyran came up onto the porch. She merely nodded her head when he asked her if she could sit out here with him. Of course she could. She continued to stand there by the steps until Kyran got up and headed for the door. She gave another nod when he said that he would be back and watched him go inside. She sighed softly and then started over to Celestine. She came to a stop beside him and then sat down on her knees so that she was facing him. She just stared at him for a moment before shutting her eyes gently. She wasn't entirely too sure what to say to him either, but at least she could sit here with him.
Nobu still had his nose pressed against Nanashi when he heard him speak. His ears had perked up slightly and he was staring up at him, though without his eyes it was probably hard to see that. He didn't bother answering if there was anything wrong, he was sure that much would be obvious in no time. His ears laid back when he heard the door open and he shifted slightly so that he could see who was coming in. He whined quietly when he noticed that it was Kanone, with Sonia and then Marius too. Had he known that they were going to bring Sonia's body inside he might have just stayed outside instead. He shifted slightly and tried to press his nose under Nanashi's leg; Anything to keep that smell from seeping into his nostrils.
LaRae pulled her hand back with the comb and nodded slightly before switching the comb to her other hand. She then moved so that she could set the comb down on the night stand. She sighed softly and then let herself fall back on the bed, stretching out a little herself.
Nero had still been sitting in the kitchen where he'd been all morning. He had barely budged from where he was at, only getting up long enough to make himself something to eat. He lifted his eyes slightly when he heard Kanone's sobbing from where he was sitting. He wasn't really sure what had brought that on and wasn't so sure that he wanted to get up and check. He shifted slightly and tried to relax, maybe even just ignore him. But he was finding that more and more difficult as he sat there. He sighed and finally pushed himself up from the chair. He stretched a bit and then started for the hall. He was quiet as he came up on the room he had heard the crying from. He peered in briefly, long enough to notice the sheet over what clearly looked like a body. He just stared for a moment before looking over at Marius and Kanone. He didn't say anything, but his face did look considerably softer then it had in the past. Death was never pleasant and it always hurt, especially if it was someone you knew or someone you were close to. He didn't bother lingering there much longer and then continued past the door and down to the living room.

Celestine slowly lowered his eyes again when Kyran looked at him again. He didn't complain when Kyran went to sit him down, he just slowly loosened his grip on his vest and let his hand fall back to his side again. Once he was on the porch he just dropped his head and let out his breath in a shallow sigh before he turned his head a little to look at the hand on his shoulder. Once he pulled his hand back he just let his eyes drop again, barely even acknowledging the fact that Aamori was sitting right beside him. He still didn't bother to move much more than he had to. He just wanted to crawl under the porch and stay there.
Nanashi looked down to Nobu again when he felt him trying to burrow under his leg and gently stroked his head again. He just looked at Nobu sadly and continued to pet him. "...It's alright..." he said quietly. He didn't really know what was wrong with him, but he guessed he didn't like the smell judging by the way that he was reacting. He slowly raised his eyes to look back toward the hallway and his ears drooped slightly before he finally looked at the front door when it opened again and then lowered his eyes again when he saw Kyran come inside. He glanced up again when he heard someone coming from the hallway and sighed softly when he saw Nero.
Kanone just couldn't seem to get a grip on himself, he was still sobbing hysterically into Marius's robes and clinging to him for dear life. Eventually he finally started to speak again. "...I...it's...it's m-my...fault...I - I should have... I should have...." he got out before he started sobbing again. He should have just done what she told him. At least he could have defended himself better than she could. He never left the village without some kind of weapon on him, but Sonia had never been the fighting type.
Marius shook his head slightly and hugged Kanone closer to him. "Shh..." he said softly, "Kanone...it's not your fault... It's no one's fault..." he said quietly, "...She was just...in the wrong place at the wrong time..." he said softly. He was still trying his best to hold it together for Kanone and Celestine's sake, but it was hard after he'd seen it happen, and he knew that everything was just as he had seen it. He closed his eyes tightly and gave Kanone another squeeze. "...Please don't blame yourself, Kanone." he said softly, "...It's no one's fault..."
Hikari glanced back to LaRae with a smile when she fell back on the bed and then laughed softly, "Don't mess it up again already." she said with smile.

Kyran was honestly trying his hardest to just ignore the room down the hall and the noise coming from it. He had kind of hoped he wouldn't have to be around when anyone he knew lost a parent, mostly because he'd pretty much lost three parents and had enough with the feelings that came along with it. He sighed softly and glanced around a little once he was inside. He of course noticed Nero had come down the hall, and then Nanashi was on the couch with Nobu trying to get under him by the looks of it. He was pretty sure that Nobu was only acting the way he was because of the smell. He knew the canine disliked meat so obviously the scent of blood was bothering him. He assumed since no one else was in the living room or the hall that the girls must have been upstairs. He looked back over to Nobu and snapped his fingers a little quieter then usual to get his attention. "...If either of you would like a brief explanation, I'm going to find the girls and then let you all hear it so I don't have to repeat myself." He said with a heavy sigh before he headed for the stairs and started up them.
Nobu finally stopped trying to bury his head under Nanashi when he heard Kyran snap his fingers. His ears perked up a little and then he lifted his head and looked over at him. He waited until Kyran started to head up the stairs to climb down from the couch and start to follow after him. He wound up hurrying up the stairs, pushing himself past Kyran. He reached the top of the stairs before Kyran of course and then started down the hall straight to the room where the girls where. He practically scurried inside and went to the end of the bed and set himself down on the floor before covering his nose with his paws.
Kyran stepped to the side slightly when he felt Nobu trying to get past him rather quickly. He sighed seeing just how bothered by the smell Nobu was. It probably would've been better for him to just leave Nobu here at the house when they left. But by the off chance they had run into hunters he was certain that Nobu would come in handy since none of them had their weapons. He watched Nobu scurry into the room where the girls had been staying once he reached the top of the stairs. He took his time getting to the door and paused briefly before stepping into the frame and looking in the room for Nobu. He saw him laying on the floor at the end of the bed and then looked over to Hikari and LaRae with a rather cheerless expression on his face. He stood there for a moment before taking a few steps into the room, just in case Nanashi or Nero had followed him.
Nero looked up at Kyran when he said he'd give an explanation. He wasn't really sure he needed too much of an explanation, it was a dead body. He wasn't sure exactly who it was since it was covered when he walked by but he assumed by how hysterical Kanone was that it might have been the guys mother. He shrugged lightly and figured he'd just take Kyran up on the offer for details. He watched Kyran start up the stairs and then started for them himself but was cut off by Nobu rushing up behind Kyran. He shook his head lightly and then continued to follow after them. Once he reached the top of the stairs he continued to tag along behind Kyran a few steps until he reached the room the girls were staying in. He paused and then sighed as he too stepped into the room. Rather then stop like Kyran had after a few steps he continued into the room and wandered off to stand in the corner with his arms crossed loosely over his chest. His own expression was different then his usual. His face was still rather soft with just a hint of sad. Which was completely unusual for him.
LaRae stretched her arms over her head as she laid on the bed and then glanced over at Hikari with a small smile. "If I mess it up... Oh well." She started to shut her eyes and relax a little but the sound from Nobu's nails against the hard wood floors as he scurried into the room forced her to sit up and look around. She sat up just in time to catch Nobu's tails at the end of the bed as he dropped himself down onto the floor. She quirked her brow slightly when she then saw Kyran. Then moments later Nero too. Neither of them had their usual expressions on so she was a little curious to know what was going on but at the same time, seeing some sadness to Nero made her wary of asking.
Aamori continued to sit there quietly for a few minutes, mostly because she didn't know what to do. She wanted to try and console him but she was just drawing a blank at things to say to him and she wasn't even sure what had already been said to him. She didn't want to go repeating something he'd already been told. Then again, she really wasn't even sure that he was listening to anything being said to him anyway. She sighed softly and finally opened her eyes, looking over at him. She didn't care very much to see him like this. She kept looking at him for a moment before she finally just reached over and gently grabbed him so that she could pull him over slightly. She guided his head down to rest on it's side at her chest. Then she placed a hand at the back of his head lightly. She couldn't think of anything else to do. She wasn't even sure that he'd be okay with her holding him like this, but she guessed if it really bothered him he'd just move.

Nanashi looked at Kyran when he snapped his fingers and then glanced down to Nobu. He didn't mind that the animal was nearly trying to dig his way under him, though he thought it was partially just because he wanted attention or something. When Kyran said something about going to get the girls he just remained on the couch for a moment until he noticed Nobu dash upstairs and Nero following him up. He still sat there for a second before he sighed softly and stood up. He already pretty much knew what happened, but he didn't know and specifics and didn't want to ask anyone later, so he slowly started up the stairs and watched as Nero went into the room after Kyran. He slowly stepped up to the door and and slipped inside, sidestepping out of the doorway to stand against the wall beside it. His eyes were on the floor and he didn't make a sound.
Hikari just laughed softly at LaRae's comment until she heard Nobu's toenails on the floor. "Hey, there, Nobu." she said cheerfully. She thought it was a little strange that he was in here, but then again she thought he may just want petted or was tired of sitting downstairs. She was still in a pretty good mood this morning considering how she woke up. She started to get up to scoot to the edge of the bed to pet Nobu when Kyran walked in. She looked up to him with a pleasant smile, though upon seeing his expression her smile slowly started to fade and then disappeared when she saw Nero come into the room. She sat herself up and looked over to Nero for a moment before her eyes went back to Kyran and then briefly to Nanashi when he appeared a few moments later. "...What happened?" she asked softly, looking worried now. She didn't like the way they all looked, or how quiet everyone was being. Now that she was sitting up she glanced down to Nobu for a moment and realized that he was covering his nose. She looked back up to Kyran again as she waited for an answer since she assumed that he was the one with something to say.
Celestine raised his eyes just a little to look at Aamori when he felt her hands on him and then he just fell over sideways when she pulled him to her and he gladly rested against her. He didn't really care that she was holding him, though it was a lot better than her just sitting there staring at him. If all she could do was stare he would have rather been left alone. He sighed softly when she put her hand on the back of this head and then just lowered his eyes to the porch again. Beyond that, he really didn't even move.

Kyran started to lift his eyes to look over at Hikari when she asked what happened. He had noticed when he first walked in that both Hikari and LaRae seemed to be in high spirits, so he really was starting to hate the idea of bringing them down so quickly. But it would be better that they knew now, rather then later. He still stood there quietly for a moment, trying to figure out the easiest way to say it. Well, the easiest and most gentle way to put it while still giving out the most information. He could always just blurt out all at once that Sonia was dead but that was a little harsh even for them having only met her a little over a week ago. He sighed and then hesitated slightly before finally opening his mouth. "...From what I know..." He started in a rather glum tone. "Sonia went to run that errand this morning, the one that Celestine stopped Kanone from doing." He paused and took a breath, his eyes easily finding their way down to the floor. "Kanone showed up this morning, while I was outside with Celestine and Nobu. Then moments later Marius bound out the front door... He told Kanone rather hastily to go find his mother." He for once couldn't talk and make eye contact with any of them, so he kept staring at the floor while he continued on. "Kanone, Celestine and myself went to find her. By the time we came upon her..." He paused, obviously having a bit of trouble himself with this topic. "...Hunters had already taken from her what they wanted..." He was quiet for a moment as he shut his eyes. "...She's back here now, in an obvious state of disrepair..." He opened his eyes and started to lift them. "Before we got back here though, Kanone had taken everything out on Celestine, rather harshly. So now.. Celestine is practically dead to the world. He's outside with Aamori right now, and Marius is trying to hold Kanone together downstairs in the bedroom." He stated lastly. He was pretty sure that covered most everything from how it started, to what happened and then to where everyone was. His eyes trailed over to Nobu and he focused on him covering his nose. "...Oh..." He paused and pointed to Nobu. "...If it wasn't obvious... He doesn't like the smell of blood, one bit. That's why he's acting the way he is, and why he tried to hide under Nanashi just a few minutes ago..."
Nero looked up for a moment when Kyran finally started to go on with his explanation as to what had gone on. He tilted his head back down the further Kyran continued on. He kept quiet though he had shut his eyes and tightened his crossed arms slightly. He hadn't been surprised to hear that it was Sonia who was under that sheet downstairs. He'd assumed that anyway. He was a bit peeved to hear that it was hunters who had done that to the poor woman. He hadn't seen her but he didn't have to in order to know what she must look like. Hunters didn't usually leave a whole lot behind of a dragon, mostly just their carcass and it was always cut to pieces. He sighed heavily once Kyran had finished. While he had been listening to Kyran, he had gathered that the topic wasn't one he cared about. Obviously because Kyran had lost his own mother and a step mother. He slowly lifted his eyes when he heard him go on about Nobu. He shook his head lightly. He could tell that his last comment about Nobu was just to make him focus on something else even if it was still slightly related to what he'd just spoken about. He'd never lost someone that close to him before so he really didn't understand what the problem was with talking about someone else's loss. He didn't think it should bother Kyran at all, then again he was different. He'd only ever lost a couple comrades here and there and they were usually the ones who worked under him so he wound up being apart of the few who buried the bodies. Unfortunately he had some experience in grave digging. He continued to stand there quietly, at least trying to act like he didn't care. Though looking at him close enough you'd know that hearing about Sonia's death bothered even him a little.
LaRae glanced over at Nanashi when he came into the room too. She couldn't help feeling like her and Hikari must have been off in their own little world if the three of them knew something that her and Hikari hadn't. She was slightly relieved that Hikari had asked what happened. She really wasn't wanting to ask that herself. She sat quietly while Kyran started, though as he continued her face went half horrified hearing that hunters had gotten a hold of Sonia. In the back of her mind however she was relieved that it wasn't someone from her clan. The last thing she wanted to deal with was more crap because of something her clan did. She actually wouldn't have been all that surprised to have found out that Renzo had been wandering around randomly killing wind dragons. Renzo was an ass like that and wouldn't get into trouble with the earth elders for doing such a thing. So long as they were in this territory if she heard of someone dying that was probably going to be her first thought. She lowered her eyes after Kyran finished and just sat there kind of dumbfounded.
Aamori was glad to see Celestine hadn't pulled away from her. She had half expected him to, but he mustn't have cared. She sighed softly and started to gently stroke the back of his head where her hand was resting. She sat quietly for a minute before pausing her hand long enough to lean her head down against his. She shut her eyes gently and took a deep breath before opening her mouth to speak. Though she'd speak in her native tongue which would make it near impossible to understand what she was actually saying. But at least it would sound very pretty even with her natural voices echo.
"Almighty,
Sonia is gone now from this earthly dwelling,
and has left behind those who mourn her absence.
Grant that they may hold her memory dear,
never bitter for what they have lost
nor in regret for the past,
but always in hope of the eternal kingdom
where you will bring them together again one day.
Amen."
Once she finished she lifted her head up from his and sighed softly. She'd only reverted her voice back to it's natural state long enough to say that little prayer quietly. She didn't know many prayers, but she was thankful at least for the couple she did know. She looked down at Celestine for a moment and then went right back to stroking his hair gently.

Hikari had her full attention on Kyran and she could tell how hard it was for him to even get started. Once he did though her stomach nearly rolled when he mentioned Sonia going out to run the errand that Kanone hadn't. Celestine had obviously stopped Kanone from going for a reason, and considering the look on everyone's face and that it was the first thing that he mentioned, she almost didn't want to hear what came next. Her hand slowly found it's way to her mouth as he went on to mention the hunters and that they had already taken poor Sonia apart. He was sickened and horrified at the same time. She couldn't believe she was up here giggling and fighting with her hair while all this was going on. She held her hand tightly over her mouth and her eyes watered up when he mentioned what was going on with Kanone and Celestine. She could definitely sympathize. "...Those poor boys..." she said quietly, her voice almost breaking. She could only imagine how they really felt though. Celestine had lost both of his parents once, and Sonia was clearly almost like a mother to him, and now Kanone had lost both of his parents as well. Sonia was a very sweet woman, even though she seemed stern with Kanone it was obvious that she cared for both of those boys deeply. She blinked and felt tears sliding down her face, but she couldn't seem to pry her hand away from her mouth long enough to dash them away. She barely even knew Sonia, but still she liked her and she didn't think that anything that gently should be butchered the way that she knew she must have been. And what did it do to Kanone and Celestine to see her that way? It obviously even upset Kyran a lot and like her he had barely known them. Honestly she didn't know if she was crying for the loss of Sonia or for the pain that Kanone, Celestine, and Marius must be feeling. She felt especially sorry for Celestine though if Kanone had screamed at him for this. She knew that he must have already felt horrible for telling Kanone not to go, but then Kanone probably felt equally bad for listening to him.
Nanashi of course already knew what had happened in general, but he closed his eyes when he heard what had killed Sonia. Of course it would be humans. No wonder dragons hated humans so much. It made him nearly sick to know that he was half human. He had rarely met humans that were not hunters, mainly because it was mostly the hunters who ventured into the dragon territories and he rarely ventured out of them. After a moment he raised his eyes when he heard Hikari's voice and he saw that she was crying, though he hadn't realized that he didn't look far from it himself. He did feel for those boys as well, both in their loss and in actually being the one to find their loved one in such a state. It was so much easier just being told than seeing with your own eyes. He lowered his eyes again and slowly stood away from the wall, barely listening to the remainder of what he said. He looked over to Nobu for just a moment and then turned quietly and slipped out of the room again. He didn't go back downstairs just yet. Listening to Kanone's sobs was almost enough to break his heart so he just walked down the hall back to the bedroom that he and Kyran had been sharing and sank down on the bed while he stared at the floor silenlty and lowered his head. He wanted to go and try to comfort them, but he doubted that they wanted sympathy from him right now. He had a feeling that everyone was with who they wanted to be with.
Celestine still didn't move when Aamori started to stroke his hair, nor when she said her prayer, but once she was finished he did seem to come around a little. He let out a really shaky breath and then slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and held onto her loosely and he tried to burrow his head into her chest almost the way that he had done to Kyran. She almost broke him, but refused to just accept. He refused to cry...as if by not crying he could deny that it had happened. He was trying to hard not to let his eyes water what he had began shaking slightly.

Kyran lifted his eyes more to look over at everyone now that he'd finished saying everything. He watched as Nanashi slipped out of the room and then started to glance over at Hikari and LaRae. He stared for a moment at Hikari seeing as she'd started crying and then sighed softly. He was sad for the boys loss, and hurt that they found her the way they did, but thankfully for him he hadn't started getting teary eyed. He really didn't want to start crying. Though seeing everyone all down like this, and his own unwanted memories resurfacing; He was struggling to keep a dry face. He finally glanced over at Nero lastly, noticing that the news appeared to bother him too. He just stood there quietly for a moment before he just plopped himself down on the floor. He really had nothing more to say and he didn't want to look at Hikari while she had been crying, he had a pretty good feeling seeing that for too much longer could easily make him crack. He sighed softly as he crossed his legs and then rested his hands in his lap with his head tilted down; His hair falling right over his face.
Nero continued to stand there for a while longer. He happened to glance up briefly when Nanashi left. Then he let his eyes trail around the room for a moment, seeing the looks on everyone elses faces. He sighed and started to push himself away from the wall just about the time that Kyran dropped himself down onto the floor. He started for the door and slipped out of the room, though like Nanashi he hadn't decided to go downstairs. He walked straight over to the room he'd been using for the past few days and opened the door heading inside. He left the door open just on the off chance that someone needed him for something. He wandered over to the chair off to the side and sat down, leaning back with his hair shielding his face. He was a little saddened by everything but he always had an emotionless or cold look to him, so sad probably wasn't incredibly easy to read. Regardless, he preferred to be alone where the others didn't have an open invitation to see him actually look like he cared.
LaRae was deathly quiet for awhile, she honestly had no idea how to react to the news. Well, other then being a bit sad to know that Sonia was gone now. She also felt for Kanone and Celestine, she could only imagine how the two of them must be feeling. She couldn't remember her real parents so she didn't know the feeling. She finally gave a soft sigh and then looked around the room a little. Nanashi and Nero had already left, and Kyran was sitting on the floor. She glanced over to Hikari and noticed that she was crying. She continued to sit there for a moment before reaching over with her hand and gently trying to wipe the tears away from the one eye she could reach from where she was sitting.
Aamori continued to hold onto him and stroke his hair gently. She paused though when she felt him wrap his arms around her waist. She smiled weakly and then tightened her hold on him slightly. She lowered her head again and gently rested it against his. "...Death is not the greatest loss in life ...The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live." She mumbled quietly.

Hikari barely noticed Nanashi slip out of the room at first, though she noticed that he was gone when she saw Nero leave. She watched as Kyran sat down and then lowered her eyes. She knew that talking about things must have stirred something up. After all it had in her and Kyran had lost a mother twice. He turned her head slightly to look at LaRae when she felt her hand on her face. She finally lowered her hand away from her mouth after a moment and then raised her other hand to the other side of her face to wipe her other eye. She sighed softly and then reached over to hug LaRae tightly for a moment before she slowly released her and slipped off of the bed, walking slowly over to Kyran. She knelt down beside him and then put her arms around him tightly, nuzzling her head against his neck gently. She really couldn't think of anything to say other than what she already had.
Celestine moved his head against Aamori slightly, in a very short nod of agreement and then tightened his grip on her slightly. He was still trying his best not to cry. He still didn't want to cry. It wasn't like crying would bring her back or anything and he doubted that it would make him feel much better.
Nanashi remained hiding in the bedroom for a few minutes while he tried to think. He wanted to do something to help but he wasn't sure what he could do really. Finally he slipped out of the bedroom and started down the hall again quietly, glancing at Nero's door for a moment before he continued to the stairs. He didn't really hear Kanone anymore, so he guessed that Marius must have calmed him down a little bit at least to where he wasn't sobbing so loudly. Once he reached the bottom of the stairs he just stood there silently. Kanone had Marius to look after him already, and he knew that Celestine was outside with Aamori. He and Celestine didn't really talk, but he had listened to what he had to say at least that once. He finally went to the door and opened it slowly before he stepped outside and closed it behind him again quietly. He paused for a moment, standing by the door with his hand still on the knob as if he wasn't sure he should be out here. When he looked over and saw the way that Celestine was clinging to Aamori he lowered his eyes to the porch again before he slowly let his hand fall away from the door and walked over to them, kneeling down beside Aamori and in front of Celestine. He opened his mouth as if he was about to say something and then changed his mind. He finally reached out and placed his hand on Celestine's shoulder gently. "...How are you doing?" He asked quietly as he looked back to him again. He wasn't really expecting an answer and of course he didn't get one from him. He glanced over to Aamori for a moment and then lowered his eyes again before he looked back to Celestine again.

Kyran sat on the floor not bothering to lift his head. He was trying not to let what had happened bother him the way it was. He didn't think he needed to be thinking about his own memories, after all it was Celestine, Kanone and Marius who had just lost someone and here he was saddened because he was remembering losing his mother, and Azami. He honestly was beginning to feel a little selfish. He finally lifted his head a little when he saw Hikari move over beside him. He kept his head lowered at least until he felt her put her arms around him. He sighed very softly and lifted his eyes a bit. After a moment he brought his arms up to put around her.
LaRae pulled her hand back once she noticed Hikari had moved her other hand to wipe under the other eye. She just sat there quietly when Hikari moved to hug her tightly. She returned the hug before she released her and slipped off the bed. She sighed softly seeing her move over to Kyran. She looked away and then scooted down to the end of the bed and peered down at Nobu for a moment before reaching down and patting the top of his head. She got his attention and then moved back to where she was on the bed, she then waited to see if Nobu would get on the bed. Since Nobu's only problem was the scent that he disliked, she figured she could handle dealing with him.
Nobu still had his paws placed over his nose as he laid on the floor. He hadn't moved until LaRae touched his head. When she did he jerked his head up, surprised by the touch since he had zoned out for a minute. He looked up at LaRae finally getting the hint that she was going to let him get up on the bed. He finally got to his feet and crept around to the side of the bed before climbing up quietly. He moved over beside her and practically laid down on top of her legs a bit as he rested his head in her lap. He wasn't there very long before she'd already started rubbing behind his ears which caused him to relax considerably.
Aamori smiled weakly when he gave a short nod and then when he tightened his grip. She nuzzled her head against his for a brief moment before she heard the door open. Her ears twitched slightly and she lifted her head up a little. She still held onto Celestine and turned her head a little until she saw Nanashi on his way over. She watched as he knelt down in front of Celestine and then looked back down at him. She sighed again softly when Celestine didn't answer Nanashi's question. She'd have answered for him if she'd known but since he wasn't really talking or doing much more then just sitting there, she wasn't sure. She continued to sit there quietly, she could only hope that Celestine wouldn't be like this for too long.

Hikari raised her head out of Kyran's neck when he wrapped his arms around her and then looked over to him and pressed her lips lightly against his cheek and then nuzzled hers against his. "...I'm sorry you had to be here for this." whispered quietly. She knew that it was probably hard for him to see that and be the one to tell the rest of them, it was kind of obvious by the way that he was acting. She gave him a tight squeeze and then sighed softly and relaxed her grip before she leaned her head down to rest on his shoulder. She really wasn't too sure what she could do to help anyone.
Nanashi sighed softly when Celestine didn't do anything for another minute and then he shifted positions so that he was sitting on the other side of him, leaning against the house. He sat there quietly for a few minutes before he finally glanced over to him and sighed again before looking away and staring out toward the street. "...You know..." he started quietly, pausing for a moment as if he wasn't sure that he wanted to continue. Finally he took a deep breath and went on. "...I knew someone...who lost his mother when he was young... He never knew his father, but his mother was always there for him. He'd always been a bit of a cry-baby, but when she died... he tried really hard not to cry." He sighed and lowered his eyes a little, "...He finally found someone to talk to...this old woman from his village. He told her that he hurt, and she asked why he didn't cry... and told her 'because it wouldn't change anything.' Then she said 'but neither will not crying.'" He took another short pause and looked off toward the side yard as he continued, "...and he said 'but I always cry a lot' and she replied, 'But that's why you were born with tears. And that's why you have loved ones to take care of you.' And the boy replied, 'But my loved one has died,' but the woman said 'no, your loved one lives.' so the boy asked 'then where is she now?' ..... and the woman placed her hand over his heart like this," he said softly as he placed his hand over his heart, "and she told him, 'she lives in you...she always will. For no one ever dies until those who loved them in life have forgotten them. She will always be with you and watch over you from where ever her spirit has gone...and she will always love you, no matter what.'" By then Nanashi's eyes had watered up, though he was looking away from the other two as he continued talking. "...The boy just looked at her with tears in his eyes and said '...But I still hurt.'" Nanashi swallowed and then nearly whispered, "...And she said 'I know...'" He closed his eyes as he felt the tears slipping down his face, though he dashed them away before he looked back to Celestine again. He was a bit startled at first, but then he smiled weakly and understandingly and placed his hand on his shoulder again.
Celestine had just glanced at Nanashi when he started to move around to the other side of him and then he let his eyes fall back to the porch. He did listen to what Nanashi was saying, and surprisingly it summed up almost exactly how he felt. The longer he went on, the more he felt his eyes welling up, though by the time he had finally said 'I know' the tears had finally escaped and ran down his face. Between Nanashi and Aamori he couldn't just sit there anymore. He finally just turned his head and buried it against Aamori as he clung to her and sobbed quietly, though he was crying so hard that shoulder and chest heaved with every sob. He had never cried this hard in his life, and he'd never allowed himself to cry at all in front of someone else in years, not since his parents died. He had cried only when awaking from dreams when he couldn't help it, because who could stop themselves from crying in their sleep? He had never wanted to cry because it wouldn't bring them back...but Nanashi was right, not crying wouldn't either...and even after crying...he still hurt...but like Aamori had told him before...he felt better as well. Unfortunately, now that he had started, he couldn't seem to make himself stop.

Kyran sighed softly. "...It's alright." He started quietly. "I could have probably avoided all of this had I not gone with Kanone and Celestine." He paused. "...But I knew seeing Celestine run off like he had that he'd probably need help getting back. So I tagged along." He lifted his head up completely and then tilted it back slightly staring at the ceiling. "None of this should be bothering me like it is." He commented quietly. At least he didn't think it should. Then again, he'd never really gotten over his own mothers death. He'd just kind of thrown it under the rug so that he could be there for his father and Minako. It was a little easier to deal with losing Azami, but she was lost at the same time as his father. Not to mention Azami was really the only mother Minako really remembered so of course her heart was in pieces. He just didn't have time to worry about how he was feeling. He brought his eyes back down and glanced over at Hikari for a moment. "...So how are you fairing?"
LaRae continued to sit on the bed with Nobu in her lap just petting him quietly. She for the most part was just ignoring Hikari and Kyran. She didn't want to get up and leave the room to let them be by themselves, let alone right now with Nobu on her she couldn't very well move if she wanted to. Nobu had at least seemed to have relaxed a little, the smell must not have been reaching him up here. She smiled weakly and stared down at him as she ran her fingers through his fur.
Aamori watched when Nanashi went to sit down on the other side of Celestine. She started to lower her eyes back down to Celestine, until she heard Nanashi start talking. She brought them back up and looked at him while he spoke, though by the time that he had finished saying everything she almost wished that she hadn't lifted her eyes. That whole little story had made even her eyes start to water slightly. Though they quickly dried up when she heard Celestine start sobbing while he clung to her. Hearing him crying had startled her slightly. She sat there for a moment before she tightened her hold on him slightly while continuing to hold her hand to the back of his head gently. "...It's okay." She paused. "...Just let it all out." She said quietly. She didn't mind that he was crying on her, she was just glad that he was finally letting it out. Him crying was long over due. She was glad that what Nanashi had said seemed to help because she really wasn't sure what else she could've said to Celestine to get him to cry. Especially since he had voiced to her before that he never cried.

Hikari raised her head again when she felt him look up and then looked at him, shaking her head slightly. "...It's natural, Kyran..." she said softly, "...You've been through something similar..." She raised her hand to his cheek when he asked how she was doing. "...Don't worry about me... I cry over everything..." she said with a weak smile, "...I'm fine... I just feel bad for those three... This family has been through so much already..." She sighed softly and lowered her eyes, "...If I had the power to bring people back, I would..." she said softly. Unfortunately, the only creature that she knew of with that ability was a unicorn and she had read something about the phoenix having strong healing magic, though she didn't know if it was quite that strong. Either way there would be neither to be found around here. She shook her head and then lowered it a little. "...I just wish there was something I could do...Sonia was so nice... I just can't believe this..." she said quietly, her voice clearly wavering again like she was about to start crying again.
Celestine had no trouble listening to Aamori. He didn't think he could stop crying if he wanted to now. He continued to sob mournfully against her, and from the look of it, he could be there about all day or at least until he passed out. He'd really overdone it when he went running after Kanone and falling those few times that he had didn't help much either...really neither did the strain that sobbing like this put on his chest muscles. The pain was finally starting to register to him a little more every time he sobbed, but he still couldn't stop. He hurt too bad in other ways to care that crying hurt his side.
Nanashi sat there for a moment before he finally moved his hand from Celestine's shoulder to his head to stroke his hair once. Then he shifted positions completely and placed both hands on his shoulders, leaning close to give him the best hug that he could with Aamori already hugging him. "...She's right... you'll be okay..." he said softly. "...Even the deepest wounds heal in time..." He nuzzled the side of Celestine's head gently with his own and then sat back and started to get up. He was sure Aamori could take it from here, he had probably touched Celestine more than he wanted. He couldn't help being so loving toward everyone. The word hadn't really been kind to him for the most part, but he still didn't like to see anyone in pain...and he knew this pain. All he could do was what he wished someone would have taken the time to do for him. He had almost completely made p that story that he told Celestine, though it was real enough in his mind. The 'old woman' was just his way of comforting himself when no one else would.

Kyran leaned into her hand when she touched his cheek and then gave a soft sigh before gently shutting his eyes. He nodded slightly, the only differences he could think of were that his mother died of a sickness and then his father and Azami were executed. Then to top that off, the little detail that only he and Taro knew, were that both of them had to watch both executions. Kind of as a 'see what happens when' type thing in hopes of scaring the rest of the family from doing what his father and Azami did. He sighed again and then opened his eyes and looked to Hikari. "...I feel bad for them too." He paused. "But bringing her back to life, would just hurt them worse when she died again." He commented quietly. "The heart can only take so much pain, and I'm sure having her die again, even just from old age, would be enough to strain any of their hearts." He was quiet for a few minutes. "...She was a really nice woman, and she didn't deserve what happened to her. Unfortunately it did happen..." After he finished his last sentence he just held Hikari a little tighter for a moment and then removed his arms from her all together and rested his hands in his lap.
Aamori kept sitting there holding Celestine, just letting him cry. She glanced up for a moment when Nanashi finally started to stand up. She tried to give more then a weak smile to him, but with the mood right now she couldn't manage anything more then that. She lowered her eyes back down and then shut them gently as she started to stroke his hair again lightly. She really was a bit surprised by all that Nanashi had said, and what he had done. She honestly hadn't thought he would really care. Mostly because he hadn't been treated as nicely by others as he was treating Celestine right now. She was however, thankful that Nanashi had come out here and said something to Celestine. She had been running out of things to say and the prayer she said was about as good as it got.

Hikari sighed softly and shook her head a little. "...Yeah...I guess so..." she said quietly. She hadn't really though of it that way but she supposed that was just as likely to happen as the idea that they would be glad to have a second chance. She nuzzled against him again slightly when he hugged her more tightly and then she sighed softly, continuing to hold onto him for a moment before she let go of him and sat back as well. She didn't know why things like this always had to happed to the most undeserving people.
Nanashi nodded slightly to Aamori and placed his hand on her shoulder lightly before he went to the door and slipped back inside. He sighed softly once he was back inside the house and then started to head back to the stairs but stopped and just went back to the living room and sank back down on the couch again since it was quiet now. Maybe if there was something else he could do it would come to him soon.
Celestine hardly looked up at all once Nanashi left, though soon after the door closed he raised his head just a little. His voice was quiet and shaky and a little hard to understand but he felt like he had something to admit that none of them realized but Kanone. "....I...it was... it was m-my f-f-fault.... I...I sh-shouldn't h-have...." he stammered quietly, unable to even finish his sentence before he was right back into hysterical sobs again.

Kyran sat there for a moment before shaking his head softly. "...I'm sorry to have brought your spirits down." He said quietly. He really would have preferred that none of this had happened, especially after seeing how chipper and cheery her and LaRae had been just before he and the other two guys walked in. He also didn't care so much for seeing Hikari saddened, he liked her full of smiles much more then the way she was now. He looked back towards the door for a moment and then rested his eyes to his lap staring at his hands. He really wasn't sure what to do with himself and just sitting here, doing nothing but moping wasn't what he wanted to do. He sighed a little heavier and the looked back to Hikari. "I wish there was something more that could be done. Just sitting here, doing nothing... It's going to drive me nuts..." He uttered quietly. He did kind of need something to take his mind off his own family. The last thing he wanted was to sit there and think about them anymore.
Aamori glanced up at Nanashi when he touched her shoulder and again tried to muster anything more then a week smile. Of course she failed at that. She sighed softly and then looked back down to Celestine. She started to rest her head against his again, but stopped when she heard him trying to say something. She shook her head lightly. "Don't say such things." She started. "It wasn't your fault, it wasn't anyone's fault." She said softly. She wasn't sure what possessed him to think what happened was his fault, it wasn't. Sonia just happened to run into those hunters. Those hunters could have attacked anyone, it was just by chance it happened to Sonia. At least to her anyway. Those hunters could've attacked any dragon that went into that forest before Sonia, and then be gone. Or they could've attacked someone after Sonia had already passed through. Honestly, it wasn't like those hunters were targeting her inparticular. She just happened to be there when they were. She sighed softly and continued to stroke his hair while she held him.

Hikari sighed softly and shook her head slightly. "...It's alright, Kyran... I would rather know then walk downstairs and find out for myself." she told him quietly. She lowered her eyes down to his hands and then reached over to place hers on top of his. "...I know..." she said quietly. She took his hand in hers and gave it a gentle squeeze. "...If you want...we can go try to talk to someone... I'm sure they could all use someone... Or we can just...I don't know..." she said softly. They could go for a walk, but she didn't know that she wanted to do that right now. She sighed and closed her eyes again and then looked back to Kyran. She smiled at him as warmly as she could manage since she knew that he apparently didn't want to see her sad.
Celestine shook his head slightly and just buried his face back into her shoulder again. He wasn't so sure about that. It might not have been Sonia if he hadn't opened his mouth. At least Kanone could have defended himself. He just curled himself up into a tight ball, almost crawling into Aamori's lap, though not quite. He still didn't know how he was ever going to face Kanone or Marius again after this. Right now he was pretty sure Aamori was about the only one that wanted to have anything to do with him...or at lest the only one who would. He just tightened his grip on her a little and continued to cry, though soon he started coughing as well from sobbing so much. He was still hurting pretty bad as well. Finally his grip on her started to loosen and his sobs started to grow quieter until he was just breathing heavily and choking one down every now and then. He'd already pretty must worn himself out. A few moments later his grip fell away from her and he was just leaning agianst her heavily. He wasn't done crying by any means, but his body had had about all it could take for a while. Even still tears were running from is eyes in streams, but he wasn't awake anymore.

Kyran was pretty sure that he had done the right thing by telling the girls about what happened to Sonia before they found out for themselves. He just kind of hoped that neither Marius, Kanone or Celestine minded that he took it upon himself to inform everyone else who hadn't known. He finally smiled very slightly when she took his hand and squeezed it gently. He gave a heavy sigh and looked back to her. "...I guess we could go talk to someone." He paused. "I do kind of want to find out if they're going to do anything with her before it gets too late in the day... And if so, do they need any help." He said quietly while looking away for a moment. He thought they might take care of her body here soon, just because leaving it out in the bedroom like that was liable to make the whole house stink soon enough. Not to mention it wouldn't be good for any of them knowing her dead body was just laying there. He gave another sigh. He knew how hard it was to have to bury someone in your family, someone you really loved. Luckily for him, he only ever buried his birth mother. Azami and his Father weren't granted the pleasure of being buried. He finally started to get to his feet. Once he had he started to dust himself off a little and adjust his vest. He noticed now that he still hadn't buttoned it. He started to lift his hands to button it up, making it to the first button and fumbling with it for a few moments before just giving up all together. He was really starting to look forward to a couple days from now, or even just tomorrow. At least by then he hoped to have his barrings back and not be bothered so much by everything.
Aamori sighed softly when Celestine shook his head slightly. It really wasn't his fault, but she had a pretty good idea that it was going to take a lot to get Celestine to believe otherwise. She half wondered if by his logic, would he say that it was Marius' fault too since Marius didn't have his dream soon enough to have anyone be able save Sonia? After a few moments she stared down at him and was about to say something to him, but by the time she had gone to open her mouth she noticed that he had fallen away from her and had gone to sleep. She slowly moved her hand down from his head and shifted slightly so that she had both arms around him. She smiled a bit and then leaned her head down and lightly pressed her lips to the top of his head before shutting her eyes. She didn't mind one bit sitting here, being there for him while he cried. She was just happy that she could be there for him and she'd continue to sit there with him for as long as needed.

Hikari nodded slightly when he said that they could go talk to someone and then stood up with him. she watched him for a moment trying to button his vest and then raised her hands to his vest and carefully buttoned the first button and then started to work her way down the front of his vest until she'd gotten them all buttoned and then sighed softly. She wrapped her arms around him again and nuzzled against his chest for a moment before she released him and took his hands, gently pulling him to the door. She looked around for a moment before she started for the stairs, slowly letting her hand slide out of Kyran's to hang at her side again. She started down the stairs and glanced over to the living room for a moment only to see Nanashi sitting on the couch. Once she got to the bottom she glanced down the hallway unsurely before she finally started down the hall. She stood at the door quietly, relieved to see that the body was at least covered before she stepped inside.
Marius was still standing there holding onto Kanone tightly. He still had his eyes closed and his head bowed, but he hadn't really moved a whole lot. He was still trying to keep himself from crying in front of Kanone, only because the poor boy still hadn't really gotten a hold of himself. He had stopped sobbing so hard a little while ago, but he was still crying quietly into his robes, which by now were pretty wet. He didn't even seem to notice when Hikari stepped into the room. He was a little spaced out at the moment.
Kanone was pretty broken after finding this. He couldn't make himself stop crying or pry himself away from Marius. He was still clinging to his robes tightly with his face buried in his chest. He knew what he needed to do but he couldn't seem to pry himself away from Marius long enough to even try. He could stand there all day if everyone would let him. He still felt horrible about not doing what his mother had asked for him to do yesterday, but he knew that there was no way that he could have known that this was going to happen before hand.

Kyran lowered his eyes slightly to watch when Hikari started to button his vest for him. He sighed softly once she finished and then smiled a little when she nuzzled against him. "...Thank you." He uttered quietly as she took his hands, pulling him to the door. It was better that she took his hands because he probably would have stood there for good few minutes before he finally got his feet moving. Once she started down the stairs he stood for a moment, briefly before he started down after her. He had wanted to do something to take his mind off what it was stuck on, but somehow he doubted that talking to any one of the three of them would deter his thoughts. As he came down to the bottom of the stairs he lifted his eyes for a moment and looked over at Nanashi, seeing him on the couch. He turned slightly and looked back towards the front door, only now was he remembering that he told Aamori he'd be back. He sighed and then turned back to follow after Hikari. He'd left Aamori outside with Celestine this long already, a little longer wouldn't hurt anything. He paused at the door way after Hikari had stepped inside and then leaned against the frame slightly. He stood there quietly while his eyes trailed over the bed for a moment before he looked over to Marius and Kanone.
Nero had still been sitting in the room he'd been using. He'd just wanted some time to himself for a bit. He finally started to get up from the chair when he heard others heading down the stairs. He stretched a little and walked over to the door before walking back towards the girls room. He was quiet and peeked his head inside to see if they'd all gone down or just some. Since all he saw was LaRae and Nobu he guessed that Hikari and Kyran had been the ones who went downstairs. He turned back to head for the stairs. He was feeling quite a bit better himself and he was back to his usual cold expression. He headed down the stairs and glanced around a little when he reached the bottom. He saw Kyran standing in the door of the room down the hall and of course he'd spotted Nanashi on the couch. He stood at the foot of the stairs for a minute before moving over to the chair and sitting down in it without a word.

Hikari glanced back to Kyran for a moment and then slowly stepped over to Marius and paid her hand on his shoulder gently. She looked up at him sympathetically, laying her ears back a little. She glanced down to Kanone and then lowered her eyes for a moment before she looked back to Marius again. She really wasn't too sure what to say really. Coming to talk seemed like a good idea, though she didn't know what to say once she got here.
Marius opened his eyes and raised his head quickly when someone touched him and then looked over to Hikari. He tried to smile at her, but it was rather pathetic. He glanced back to the door to to see Kyran standing there and then sighed softly and looked back down to Kanone. He had no idea how long he'd been standing there holding him like that. "...Alright, Kanone..." he said gently. He gave him one more tight squeeze and then pulled his arms back slowly and placed his hands on his shoulders and held him there as he took a step back. He looked at him for a moment before he placed his hands over his and waited for him to let go before he finally raised his hands to Kanone's face and gently wiped the tears from his eyes.
Kanone clung to Marius's robes a little more tightly when he spoke and then loosened his grip slightly when he felt him back up, then finally dropped his hands back to his sides. He looked up to Marius sadly, his eyes wet and extremely red. He closed his eyes when Marius wiped his eyes and then slowly glanced over to Hikari and then lowered his eyes.
Hikari looked at Kanone sadly and then moved to put her arms around him tightly. "...I'm so sorry, Kanone." she said softly. She held him for a moment and then let him go and took a step back. "...I know..." she said softly as she put his hand to his cheek.
Nanashi raised his head slightly when Nero came into the living room and then lowered his eyes again when he went to the chair. He really hadn't been paying attention to who was coming downstairs, so he was a little surprised to see him. "...Hey..." he said quietly without looking at him after he'd sat down. He wasn't really expecting him to say anything back. he knew Nero didn't like talking.

Kyran lowered his eyes slightly when Marius looked over at him. He continued to stand there for a moment before standing up straight again. He sighed softly and lifted his eyes. "...I hope you don't mind." He paused. "I informed the others of what happened..." He said rather quietly. He glanced back over towards the bed briefly. He wanted to ask what they planned to do with her, and if they needed any help but he couldn't bring himself to actually ask. He felt like if he asked, it would only come off kind of rude and like he was rushing them to do something with her body. He sighed and then glanced back over to Marius for a moment before he looked to Hikari. "...I think I'm going to go check on Celestine." He paused. "I told Aamori, I'd be back.." He said before turning slightly in the door way then stepping back into the hall. He walked back down the hall, passing the living room and straight over to the door. He barely lifted his eyes while he walked, though he had noticed Nero was now in the living room too. Once he reached the door he opened it quietly and slipped out onto the porch. He glanced over to Aamori after he shut the door and sighed softly as he walked over to her and noticed that Celestine was asleep. "...Sorry it took so long."
Aamori's ears twitched when she heard the door open and she started to lift her head and then open her eyes. She looked up to Kyran when he came over and then looked back down to Celestine. "It's alright." She paused. "It was probably better that you were gone as long as you were." She said quietly before trying to shift slightly. She was starting to get a little uncomfortable. She could only sit on her knees for so long before it started to hurt a little. "...Where is everyone? How did they take the news?" She asked while not bothering to lift her eyes.
Kyran sighed after hearing her question. "...Like anyone would, I suppose." He said as he knelt down and looked down at Celestine. "Hikari is checking in on Kanone and Marius and then Nanashi and Nero are in the living room. LaRae is with Nobu." He answered. "...Would you like me to take him?" He asked. "I can move him inside, to a bed or something."
Nero lifted his eyes briefly when he heard Nanashi speak. He looked over at him, acknowledging that he heard him at least with a slight nod. He didn't say anything, mostly because there wasn't anything to say. His attention shifted when Kyran passed by and went to the door. He could tell just by looking at Kyran that he was still bothered by everything. He shook his head a little, obviously thinking that the others should be able to get over this a lot faster then the three it really effected. After all, he'd sat for awhile after hearing about everything. Given it all some thought, sorted out his feelings and was better. He sighed and then shut his eyes lightly.

Marius shook his head slightly when Kyran said that he had informed the others. "...No...It's alright." he said softly and rather tiredly. He looked back to Kanone and Hikari for a moment and then glanced back to Kyran again when he said that he was going to go check on Celestine. He nodded to him again, "...Thank you." he said softly before he finally sank down in the chair. He looked over to the beg for a long moment and then finally looked back to Kanone. "...Kanone..." he started gently, "...we still have something to do..." He said softly.
Kanone looked at Hikari with his raw, bloodshot eyes and then raised his hand to place over hers, though he stopped when he realized how bloody his hands were. He looked down at himself for a moment and then glanced over to Marius when he said that there was still something that they needed to do. He nodded weakly and his eyes started to water again. "...I..I know..." he said quietly.
Hikari sighed softly and wiped the tears from Kanone's eyes before she looked over to Marius. "...We will do whatever we can to help." she said softly.
Marius nodded slightly to Hikari. "...I know, dear...thank you." he said quietly.
Kanone stood there for a moment silently and then glanced down to himself again. "...I...I think I'm..." he just shook his head and covered his mouth before he gently pushed Hikari aside and ran out of the room and up the stairs quickly. He didn't want to go outside again so he just tried to make it to the bathroom. He barely made it a little over halfway up the stairs before he slipped and fell on his knees, though he latched onto the rail before he fell down the stairs. He finally lost that apple that he'd eaten earlier on the corner of the stairs near the wall when his hand moved from his mouth. His stomach was just torn up from all of the crying and the realization that he was still covered in his mother's blood on top of the fact that he still had to dig her grave just made him sick.
Hikari looked after Kanone when he pushed her aside and then hurried out the door after him, though she paused in the hallway for a moment when she heard him clambering up the stairs and then heard his retch all over them. She shook her head slightly and then walked around the wall to the foot of the stairs and looked up at him like something pitiful before she started up after him, "...Kanone...are you alright?" she asked softly.
Nanashi glanced over to Nero for a second, only long enough to catch part of his nod before he dropped his eyes again, at least until he heard Kyran walking toward the door. He looked up for a moment and then looked over to the door until he's headed out, though just a few moments later his attention was caught by Kanone running from the other room and up the stairs. He stood up then and turned around to look toward the stairs, though Kanone had made it to the section where he couldn't see him anymore before he'd fallen, all he could see were his feet. He sighed softly when he realized that the poor guy was getting sick. His ears fell back and he looked like he wanted to go to him, but wasn't sure if he should. He glanced back to Hikari when she started up the stairs and then sighed softly and lowered his head.
Celestine was still resting against Aamori where he had been. He had passed out more than fallen asleep, but he would still be out for a little while. His face was still wet from the tears, though they had finally stopped. Unfortunately, he was probably just going to start again when he woke up. He felt like he had a large hold in his chest that nothing was ever going to be able to fill.
