Yoichi gave a small sigh after listening to his sister. At least she was being honest this time, or well, it sounded like it. He waited until Aamori stepped back onto the sand and released Hikari's hand to reach over and grab her upper arm once more. "This time I'm going to walk you back to the building." He said, though he was pretty sure that much was obvious. Aamori just couldn't be trusted to get there on her own, let alone without stopping to talk to someone. He pulled on her arm and started leading her back up onto the path, releasing her arm when they were back on the stone.

Aamori just stared at her brother for a moment once he had taken a hold of her arm yet again. He had a habit of doing that whenever he was angry at her for something. That was one surefire way to tell her not to play around. She gave a soft sigh when he started forcing her up onto the path. She glanced over at Kyran for a moment, feeling bad for leaving him alone with her parents to answer all the questions. When Yoichi finally let go of her she lifted her hand to rub her arm lightly and then looked back to Hikari. This was a side of her life she wished that no one had to see. She hated being forced around like this and being told what to do. For an Elder in training one might think she'd have a little more authority. But in all actuality she had none until she actually became an Elder. She was just some being that the clan was shaping into something worthwhile. Or well, that's how she looked at it half of the time.

Kyran stood at the end of the bridge and just watched as Yoichi went down to retrieve his sister. He'd been given a brief update of what had happened while he was answering questions, as where her parents. Emiko and Satoshi certainly weren't happy hearing that Aamori had snuck out and gone into a place she wasn't allowed. He just looked back at Aamori when she looked up at him, not bothering to really show any emotion. He couldn't believe that she had actually snuck out like that and Hikari had gone with her. He sighed and then glanced over to Hikari waiting for her to get her boots back on and come over to where they were.

Yoichi only planned to stand there long enough for Hikari to get her boots back on. Once she had those on they'd be on their way. He of course would be keeping an extremely close eye on his sister and just with the quite manner in which he was walking it was obvious just how annoyed he was with her.

Hikari looked at Yoichi for a moment when he took a hold of Aamori's arm and then sighed as she walked over to her boots. She just grabbed them and then walked up to the edge of the bridge where she dusted the sand from the bottoms of her feet and then sat down and put her boots back on without a word. She didn't bother to look up at Kyran. She knew from the look of Yoichi that if he was with him that he already knew what they'd been up to, and she was almost certain that she was going to hear it later, though she couldn't promise that she wouldn't tell Kyran off if he started on her. She didn't take being chewed out by someone who wasn't in charge of her. Hell, she didn't even take being chewed out by the people who were supposed to chew her out. She knew what she'd done, she knew the outcome, she didn't think anything more really needed to be said on it. She just hoped that Kyran would pick up on that and refrain from asking her what she was thinking. Once she had her boots on she stood up and started after Yoichi and Aamori, still refraining for saying a word. Now probably wasn't the best time.

Yoichi wasted very little time in getting back to the main building. Mostly because he still needed to go make that report. As he came up on the double doors to the entrance he slowed to a stop and looked over at his sister. He gave a small sigh started to reach for the door to open it a little so she could go inside. "Listen to me this time and stay inside like you're supposed to, Aamori." He said as he looked down at her. "This shouldn't take that long... and when I get back I'll let you know how it went." He said quietly as he used his free hand to motion her inside.

Aamori walked the whole way quietly, with her eyes practically glued to the stone path they were walking on. She knew better than to say anything when Yoichi was like this. She was pretty sure he didn't want to go give that report, but it was important and part of his job. Just because he was family didn't excuse her from what she did. She gave a sigh when they reached the training grounds so quickly. When she was in trouble, Yoichi sure could rush things. She looked at him briefly when he started talking to her and gave a weak nod once he finished. For the sake of not getting into more trouble she was just going to do as she was told. She started to glance over at Hikari and Kyran but stopped and dropped her shoulders slightly as she slipped inside and the door shut behind her. She thought briefly about going straight back to her room, she was bound to be sent there anyway. Instead she started down the left side of the hall for a moment until she came to the first door. She reached out and opened it, leaving it open as she walked inside. She moved over to a counter and set her hand down on it lightly as she looked over at a couple people inside who were cleaning up the kitchen. The room was pretty large, it was the kitchen after all. Though it was almost set up like a shop because there was a counter that blocked you from the rest of the room. On the other side of the counter was also a set of stairs that lead down to the lower level. The cooks had obviously just finished cleaning up after lunch and preparing for dinner. They did a lot of cooking because they cooked for every guard and escort that resided in the lower level along with her of course. She wasn't standing there too long before one of the cooks brought her over a plate with a simple sandwich on it along with a glass of water. She picked the plate and glass up and smiled slightly before she headed out of the room and towards the courtyard to sit on the edge of the fountain to eat. She'd been completely oblivious to the fact that both LaRae and Nanashi were sitting in the courtyard too. Had she noticed, she might have pointed them in the direction of the kitchen. Sadly, the door wasn't marked so it wasn't easy to find unless pointed out.

Kyran followed after the others, keeping quiet himself. He still couldn't believe that the two of them had snuck out and left him there like that. He just hoped that they had a good reason for doing so, other than just for thrills. He sighed when they came to a stop and listened to Yoichi momentarily before watching Aamori slink inside. He glanced down to Hikari, almost hesitant to say a word since she'd been so quiet herself. "...What did you two go looking for?" He asked quietly. He was trying to get some information without sounding like he was chewing her out. Honestly, he thought Aamori had been chewed out enough by her brother and just listening to that was probably more than enough for Hikari. He really felt no need to go lecturing either of them on what they did, he was pretty sure they got the picture themselves.

Hikari didn't say a word on the way back, however she didn't keep her eyes down like Aamori. She realized that what they did was against the rules, but she by no means saw it ans something unnecessary. If they were going to go on this trip it was crucial that they were able to get where they needed to go in a timely manner, and that required them having some idea where they needed to go. She didn't really see where the elder could be too angry. After all she had to have been in on this little adventure, so surely she knew that they were going to have to go wherever the relic was, forbidden area or not. After all that was what they were told to do; retrieve the relics. As far as she knew it was no holds barred. And in her opinion, being able to finish this little mission of theirs was more important than a few broken rules. No one died, there was no harm done, so she wasn't worried about it. She could tell that Aamori was, though, and of course she could understand why. She remained standing outside after Aamori went in and sighed slightly before she looked back to Kyran. "Some idea of where we're going to find that relic." she said simply, "She has a good lead now at least." she answered quietly. "Sorry we left you... I went along to keep from blowing her cover. It would look a little odd if I'd come back in there without her when she was just showing me her room." she said with a weak smile.

Yoichi stood there for a moment longer, only to hear what Hikari was going to say to answer Kyran's question. Once she finished he bowed his head slightly. "If you'll excuse me." He said quietly and then turned around to head to the back of the building so that he could go make that report. He could understand the importance of finding where this relic was, he had been briefed a little on what the group was doing. But Aamori did know better than to go into that library. The information that library held wasn't meant for her eyes just yet and only certain books were removed for her to look at as she progressed through her training. Most of the people who looked after the Elders and the Royals knew that much so he didn't expect anyone else to, let alone someone from another clan. Aamori wouldn't be punished for anything more than going somewhere she wasn't allowed to go. There were other ways that she could've gone about getting that information after all. She could easily have asked around, or requested a meeting with the Elder herself who could have probably pointed her in a decent direction. He shook his head lightly. His sister, just had a habit of doing things like this without thinking. He had hoped she'd grow out of that habit.

Kyran listened to Hikari and gave a slight nod once she had finished then watched as Yoichi bowed his head and excused himself. "It's alright... and I honestly doubt you'd have blown her cover... Emiko was far too interested in the answers to her questions to notice anything else going on." He paused. "Satoshi got up and left the room, coming back with something to drink and she didn't even realize that he had left the room..." He paused. "She hadn't noticed he had handed her a drink either." He said with a small laugh. "Anyway... she's got some direction to go now?" He paused. "At least that is a step in some direction. I was worried she might not get anywhere anytime soon considering everything and how protective the people are of her."

Aamori managed to get about half way through her sandwich before she even looked up and glanced around a little. She gave a small sigh when she noticed LaRae and Nanashi, finally. She couldn't believe she didn't see them before and here she'd sat and ate in front of them like this. She set the plate down beside her on the stone of the fountain and looked back over towards them. "...If you two are hungry or thirsty that room over there." She paused and pointed to the first door on the left, she'd left it open. "That's the kitchen. They'll fix you anything you ask for." She told them as she picked up the glass of water she was given.

LaRae had noticed Aamori when she came into the courtyard with her food. She was a little hungry herself so she had looked away while Aamori was eating. She looked back over to her when she heard her talking and then glanced in the direction that she had pointed. She felt a little silly hearing that the kitchen was right there the whole time. It wasn't like it was far away or anything and all they had to do was ask for something, how simple was that? She sat there for a few more moments before she started to get to her feet. She dusted herself off a little and glanced down at Nanashi. "Do you want anything?" She asked since she was going to go get something for herself.

Hikari looked over to Yoichi when he excused himself and then nodded to him. She watched him leave before she turned her attention back to Kyran and laughed softly when she said that Emiko hadn't even noticed Satoshi leaving the room. She shook her head and then gave a nod when he asked about the direction. "Yes, we have a pretty good idea..." she said simply. She crossed her arms and sighed, "I'm fairly sure that the way that her people treat her is why we snuck out the back in the first place. When you're not allowed to go anywhere alone sometimes it's necessary to sneak out." she said simply, "Sometimes that's the only way to get anything done." She could at least understand that much. She couldn't do half of the things that she needed to get around to with Ishta or one of her other guards around her. She had thought about the simpler method of asking the elder, but she'd also assumed that if Aamori thought that the elder would help she would have thought of that first. She was at least trying to give Aamori a little credit.

Nanashi had just been laying there with his eyes closed, almost on the verge of sleep when Aamori entered the court yard, so he hadn't noticed her at all. He did open his eyes however when he heard her speak and looked back to her. He wasn't all that hungry right not so her food didn't interest him. Well, he was hungry, but he didn't feel like trying to swallow anything and he was half afraid to try something from here anyway after the market indecent. There was no telling what he may end up eating. It was no secret that these people weren't too fond of him for various reasons. He looked up to LaRae when she started to get up and then pushed himself up slowly. "...Water I guess..." he said as he started to get to his feet. He had a feeling her hands were going to be full, so he wasn't going to just send for some and let her try yo juggle everything on the way back.

Kyran looked down at Hikari and nodded slightly. He guessed he could understand the need to sneak out to do certain things when you were in a position like hers or Aamori's. He'd never had to sneak out anywhere so at the same time he didn't understand, if that made any sense at all. "So, where is it that we're going to be heading?" He asked, rather curiously. He also wanted to ask if Aamori was going to be able to get out of any punishment that was given to her, so that they could go looking for this relic. Though, he was pretty sure that Hikari couldn't answer that and chances were slim that Aamori, herself could answer it. He just hoped there was some way that she'd get off easy, for lack of better words.

Aamori continued to sit there, finishing up her sandwich and her glass of water. Once she was finished she gave a heavy sigh and turned slightly so that she could look at the fountain. Thinking about it now she wished she had thought things through a little more before she actually acted. She might have been able to save herself from this trouble she was in. She did know better than to go into that library, it was off limits to her for a reason. She wasn't so sure though that her Elder would've been able to tell her anything now that she was thinking about it. After all, the Elder in Radha was of no help and neither was Marius for all intents and purposes. She really had just gone with her first idea, not bothering to think of any others which was the same thing that happened with the boat. That was her first idea, regardless of the danger it was the fastest way across at the time. She heaved a sigh and shut her eyes gently. She really did hate waiting like this. She wanted to know what they saw fit for punishment.

LaRae nodded slightly when he said he'd like some water and started to take a couple steps towards the door. She paused though when she noticed he was getting up and shook her head lightly. "I asked if you wanted anything, not if you wanted to come with me." She paused. "Just sit back down, I can bring you some water." She told him before turning back and heading towards the kitchen door. She stepped inside and was a little surprised by the way things were set up. It wasn't quite the type of kitchen she was thinking since there was a counter that you pretty much placed an order at. She moved over to it and looked at one of the cooks as he moved around continuing to clean a bit. When he finally noticed her, he didn't say anything more than 'what can I get you?' Again that rather surprised her. Obviously the guy was more into his job than into the fact that she was from another clan. She gave a small smile and requested a sandwich and two glasses of water. She might have asked for something a little more complex for something to eat, but considering the hour she assumed the cooks were supposed to be starting on dinner so she didn't want to keep them busy with something for just her.

Hikari sighed softly, keeping her voice quiet. "There are four towers in the ocean surrounding the islands that are hidden in the fog... that's where they keep the machines that create the fog. Aamori said that no one is allowed to go there by the mechanics and that few people knew about them, so she thought that would be a good place to start looking... There was also a note that mentioned something about a large, fast moving shadow in the water. No one knows what it is, but it stays near the towers and no one knows why." she said simply, "...That sounds like a guardian to me..." she finished, "What do you think?"

Nanashi blinked when LaRae told him to sit back down and then sank back to the ground again. He watched her head for the kitchen and then sighed softly, though that just caused him to cough again. He was looking forward the that water at least. Finally he turned his head to look back to Aamori and sighed softly, "...Is something wrong?" he asked finally, seeing the way that she was just sitting there. she didn't really look too happy. He rolled over so that he was sitting on his knees facing her rather than on his butt looking away from her.

Kyran was quiet while Hikari answered his question which the answer was certainly covering any and all questions that he could've asked. He gave a slight nod and gave it a little thought. "Hmm... well... the first guess could easily be that what ever the thing is that goes around those ...towers ...is a guardian." He paused. "I wouldn't necessarily go jumping to conclusions and outright saying that thing has to be the guardian ...but there is that possibility." He replied quietly. "...Why is it that the past couple of leads have lead us to places that no one goes to, or places that are off-limits?" He paused. "I'd like to think that was just coincidence ...somehow I doubt it though." He was quiet for a moment, giving everything a little more thought. He gave a small sigh and looked down at Hikari. "Do you think that a guardian would really be that close to civilization?" He paused. "I mean... if it's really as close as these, said towers than wouldn't someone have seen more of it than what you've mentioned? Especially ...if it was large."

Aamori nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard Nanashi, rather quickly finding herself on the ground beside the fountain because she'd been startled right off the edge. She just sat there for a moment, quite embarrassed before she thought about getting back on her feet. She sighed softly and continued to sit there. She brushed her hair back over her shoulder and glanced over at him. "...No ...nothings wrong." She paused. "...Nothing you need worry about." She added lastly before giving another sigh. She shifted slightly and started to get back up finally, making sure to grab her plate and glass before heading towards the kitchen to drop off her dishes.

LaRae waited patiently for the food and water that she'd asked for. Surprised that it didn't take very long for the guy to set it down on the counter in front of her. She offered another small smile and then reached for the plate. She took her other hand and picked up one of the glasses of water before extending that arm so that she could rest the plate down on it. By far, the easiest way to carry more than what your hands could handle. She then grabbed the last glass and slipped out of the kitchen just in time to see Aamori headed that way. She just glanced at her as she passed by and then walked over to Nanashi. She paused beside him and held out the one glass of the water to him. "Here's your water." She said as she waited for him to take it. Once he had she took her free hand to lift the plate up off her arm so that she could sit down again. "You know, I don't think those cooks are going to be very discriminatory." She paused. "They seem to take a lot of pride in their work, so I think they over look a person's exterior." She smiled slightly. "I think they're far more concerned with pleasing the person's stomach." She said with a small chuckle. At least that was the perception she got just from asking for her sandwich. After all, she'd been given her food probably just as fast as they would've given it to Aamori or another water clan member.

Hikari nodded slightly. "I didn't say that it was the guardian...but it is out only lead as of now." she said quietly. She shook her head and sighed softly when he said he hoped that the locations were only coincidences. "I doubt it as well. If I am right, this wont be the last place that we'll be going where we're not supposed to." she said simply. She shrugged slightly when he asked if she thought it would be that close to civilization. "...The ocean is a big place...It's about as deep as it is wide, there are plenty of places for it to hide... and if it moves as quickly as it sounds like it does, then some may have seen it for a moment and then not seen it anymore. There is no way to really tell. I'm not even sure how far out these towers are, you will have to ask Aamori about that. I couldn't read anything in those books, just the memo." she answered. "At any rate...I think I am about ready to return to the room. Someone is probably going to come to search me to make sure that I didn't make off with anything." she said indifferently. She hadn't taken anything, so she wasn't worried about what they were going to find.

Nanashi's ears laid back apologetically when Aamori fell off of the edge of the fountain. He sighed softly when she told him that it was nothing. It was pretty apparent that she was lying, but he wasn't going to pry. He nodded weakly when she said that it was nothing that he needed to worry about. "...Well...if you want to talk..." he said quietly, not bothering to finish the sentence. If nothing else he was a good listener. He watched as she started toward the kitchen and then smiled weakly when LaRae came over to him and held out the glass. He took it quickly and thanked her before he took a sip while she was sitting down. The cool water actually felt good on his burning throat. He sighed and then looked over to her again and smiled slightly, "...That's good." He said quietly, "...I'm still not very hungry right now." he said simply, in case that was what she was getting out, "I'll eat later."

Kyran merely nodded his head again lightly once she had finished. It did seem that he'd have to talk to Aamori a little too if he wanted all of his questions answered. Though, he guessed that could probably wait for a bit. He didn't really want to go asking her right now, all things considered. He stepped closer to the door, having heard Hikari say that she wanted to return to the room. He reached for the handle and started to open the door for her. He didn't want to believe that they would actually send someone to search her. He could understand their reasoning, but he highly doubted Hikari was the type of person to take anything from the building. "...Would you be against company, at least until then?" He asked as he looked down at her. He didn't want to intrude if she'd rather be alone, perhaps the only reason he thought to ask first.

Aamori continued straight to the kitchen, only giving a nod in acknowledgment to Nanashi when he said if she wanted to talk. Right now, she really didn't want to talk about it. She just wanted her brother to hurry up and tell her the news. Once inside the kitchen she went straight to the counter and set down her plate and glass, giving thanks to the cooks before turning to leave. She pulled the door partly shut behind her and started back over to the fountain to sit down again.

LaRae wasted little time eating her sandwich. She took a couple bites before setting it back down on the plate so she could speak. "I just thought I'd let you know. That's all." She said and then returned to her sandwich. She'd thought he might have been hungry and just avoiding the kitchen because it was food being prepared by the water clan. Considering how things went when they were at the market, she guessed it would be natural to be a little cautious. She continued to eat, but glanced up and towards Aamori when she came back into the courtyard and went to sit back down at the fountain. She could tell easily that something was bothering her. She wasn't about to go ask right now, perhaps later when she wasn't trying to please her stomach.

Hikari smiled slightly when Kyran opened the door for her and then looked up to him and shook her head slgihtly. "It is your room as well. I don't mind." she said simply. She stepped inside and started back toward their room, though she paused for a moment to glance into the court yard. She half smiled when she saw Nanashi and LaRae in the grass, though she was kind of wondering where they'd gotten the food. She wasn't going to eat right now even though she was a little hungry. She was pretty sure she would survive until dinner. She just started down the hall again.

Nanashi nodded to LaRae and smiled weakly, "...I'm waiting to see if the water helps... It kind of hurts to--" he cut off his sentence and threw his hand over his mouth and nose, his eyes growing wide before he closed them tightly and seemed to be holding his breath. He stayed like that for a few seconds before he lowered his hand again and sighed, though only a second later he finally sneezed. Flames shot from his mouth as one might expect to see from a dragon in it's true form, though not in the form he was in. The glass of water fell from his hand and spilled over onto the grass when he sneezed, and he didn't have time to try to catch it. It probably would have been really comical were it not so painful. His throat now literally felt like it was on fire, though he knew it wasn't. He coughed harshly and covered his mouth while he closed his eyes and tried to breathe. It hurt to even have air pass over his throat now. He put his other hand to his throat and tried to breathe through his nose, but that only made him cough even more. He lowered his head and tried to hide his face as he felt ters running from his eyes. He wasn't really trying to cry but the burn and coughing was just making his eyes water to the point of overflowing.

Kyran gave a slight smile when she said that it was his room as well. He was aware of that, but if she wanted to be alone he was going to find something else to preoccupy his time so that he wasn't bothering her. He followed after her when she went inside and made sure that the door shut completely before he started down the hall after her. He didn't look towards the courtyard, at least not until he saw what looked like flames from the corner of his eye. He thought briefly of where that could've come from. It wasn't until he could easily see Nanashi that it kind of made some sense. He paused nearly mid step and just turned and stared for a moment. He really didn't think Nanashi had the ability or compacity for fire, considering he was a dragon half and all.

Aamori's attention was rather easily snagged when she heard the sneeze, though she practically fell right off the edge of the fountain again when she saw the fire that came from Nanashi's mouth. That caught her completely off guard because she, like most others, didn't think that him and fire was even possible. She sat on the ground beside the fountain for a few moments before she finally started getting to her feet when she noticed that he was coughing hard and obviously having a time of trying to breathe. Rather than asking if he was alright, knowing full well he wasn't just by the looks of him she wandered over to the right hall and went to the first door nearest the entrance. Thankfully that one was marked with a cross, quite obviously medical. She knocked on the door lightly before opening it and stepping inside. She wasn't sure that there was anything particularly that could help with... well... what she guessed was a sore throat of some sort, perhaps even a burn after the fire that came out and the coughing fit but she thought she'd ask the medical specialist of the building anyway. After all, they had come up with some nice remedies for different types of burns just because they weren't too friendly with the fire clan.

LaRae for the most part was paying complete attention to what she was eating, though keeping her ear out to listen to Nanashi. She was was almost finished eating, in the process of reaching for her water when she heard Nanashi's sentence cut off. She had just started to lift her eyes and look over at him when she heard him sneeze, followed by the unexpected sight of fire from his mouth. She involuntarily jerked back and scooted a little away from him, dropping her plate and glass in the process. She hadn't really been around fire like that so of course it kind of crept her out a bit along with the fact that she didn't know that he could do that. She was thinking to herself to make a mental note not to be standing close to him when he had to sneeze, especially if that happened every time he sneezed. She just sat there a bit wide eyed herself until he started coughing harshly. Once she got over the initial shock she started to get onto her knees and move back over towards him. She glanced up briefly when she saw Aamori heading down the hall rather quickly and then focused back on Nanashi. She cautiously reached her hand out and set it down lightly on his shoulder. "...Are you going to be okay?" She asked quietly, sounding quite a bit worried.

Hikari was just going to go on to her room until she heard Nanashi sneeze. She glanced over to say 'bless you' when she noticed the flames dying away. She blinked and stared at him for a moment then grew concerned when he started coughing. She could understand a little cough but he looked like he was about to hack up a lung. She hadn't known that he was able to produce fire either, though obviously his throat wasn't equipped to handle the heat. She glanced to Aamori as she hurried to the medical room and then started across the court yard toward Nanashi quickly, obviously deciding the trip to the room could wait.

Nanashi just sat there on his knees continuing to cough. He lowered one hand to the ground to brace himself since he was nearly doubling over. He pressed his other hand tightly to his throat as if that was going to help and clenched his jaw to force himself to stop coughing while he help his breath at the same time to keep it from burning. He nodded weakly to LaRae while he as like this, but he could only hold his breath for so long. He took a snort inhale through his nose then then cringed and started coughing again. He was just lucky that he didn't usually sneeze all that often, though he'd done it enough times to know that he hated sneezing. He could usually stop himself like he had the first time, but he didn't always catch it. He'd burned his hands and throat several times like that. At times it honestly surprised him that he still possessed the ability to speak. Of course his throat healed relatively quickly. All it ever did was blister from the heat, the flames weren't there long enough to do much else...though that was quite enough for him. He couldn't just sit there and not breath so he was just taking tiny little gasping breaths between coughs. Al of the coughing in itself was nearly exhausting; his other arm was shaking with the effort of keeping him from falling on his face since he'd locked his elbow.

Hikari came around to kneel in front of Nanashi and gently too his face in her hands. She laid her ears back slightly when she felt the tears on his cheeks. He must really be hurting to cry like that in front of them all. She sat him back a little and then tilted his head up. "Easy..." she said quietly when he shook his head and tried to pull away from her, "Breath through your nose, alright? Come on, that's it...deep breaths." she said calmly. She could tell that his eyes watered even more every time he inhaled. "Open you mouth, let me see the damage." she said softly. She waited for a moment and then sat up a little and tilted his head back more when he opened his mouth. She was sidetracked momentarily by his tongue. It looked more like it belonged on a reptile than something that looked human...ish. His tongue was long, slender, and forked at the end like a snake's. After a second she looked back that to the back of this throat, easily able to see how red it was as well as a good number of blisters that were forming. No wonder it hurt to breathe. He finally released his face and then lightly placed her hand against his throat and closed her eyes. The white aura surrounded her hand and seeped into Nanashi's throat for a moment before she pulled it away. She didn't really know how to her burns and blisters very well, so all she could do was just try to soothe it a little. It seemed to have worked some at least...he was breathing more easily.

Nanashi wasn't too thrilled about having someone stare down his throat, but he finally gave in and let her take a look. He was relieved when she started to do something. His throat still ached terribly, but it didn't hurt so bad when the air passed over it so he was able to take in a few deep breaths. "...th....nk...s" he choked out quietly, his voice so hoarse that he couldn't even get out the full word, he could only wheeze the consonants enough to gather what he was saying.

Kyran started over towards Nanashi himself once Hikari had. Though he stopped just short of being next to him. He was rather concerned but didn't think that Nanashi needed everyone crowding him and surely Hikari could help Nanashi out more than any of the rest of them could. He merely watched quietly as Hikari made her attempt at helping Nanashi.

LaRae was a bit relieved that he gave a nod to her question but his coughing still worried her. She slowly started to remove her hand from his shoulder when Hikari had come over to check on him. She sat there for a moment before she started to scoot away again, just to get out of the way. She couldn't very well do anything to help so she didn't need to be that close.

Aamori wasn't gone very long before she'd already returned to the courtyard with a jar in her hand. She moved right over to Nanashi and Hikari and held the small jar out to him after she unscrewed the lid. The contents of the jar was blue, almost crystal looking and jelly like. It was cold, very cold. You could tell just because when she removed the lid from the jar the warmer air hitting the stuff made a cool puff of air escape. "This stuffs usually put on external burns to sooth away the pain, almost completely. It's made from all natural stuff, so it shouldn't bother your stomach if you ingest it." She paused. "The medical specialist said this should help. It's jelly-like so it'll coat your throat while it.. well.. slides down." She told him. If anything it should relieve a decent amount of pain though of course the burn itself would have to heal on it's own. Sadly, they hadn't perfected anything yet that could do away with the actual burns but at least they could relieve the pain. "Oh... and I have no idea what it tastes like... but it is really cold, so maybe you won't taste anything."

Hikari reached down to him and sighed softly, placing her hand on his shoulder. She wished she could actually heal the blisters, but she wasn't too sure what spell would do that. No one ever heard her chanting, but each time she had to heal something it required a spell, she had just mastered being able to chant the words in her mind rather than out loud. After a moment she pulled her hand back and stepped away since there wasn't much more that she could do either.

Nanashi kept his eyes glued to the ground in front of him and raised his hands to his face to wipe away the moister on his cheeks. He didn't want to look at anyone right now. He knew Kyran was behind him only because he'd barely heard him walk up. His face was actually noticeably red for once, partially from the coughing, but mostly from the fact that he wanted to go hide somewhere. He closed his eyes and covered his mouth again to cover another strain of coughs, though these weren't quite as bad as before they were still enough to send a shudder through him. When Aamori came up to him he still didn't raise his head until he saw her hold something out to him. He raised his head slightly and looked at her and then reached out to take the jar. He listened to her and then looked down at the stuff for a moment. He didn't really care how it tasted. At this point it could taste like wood chucks and he wouldn't care as long as it worked. He finally dipped his first two fingers into the gel and got a bit out onto them. He opened his mouth and scraped the gel off against his bottom teeth and then closed his mouth and swallowed, making a bit of a face as it went down. It wasn't the greatest tasting thing in the world, but it was more the cold that got to him. He shivered and then held the jar back out to Aamori, mouthing a silent 'thank you' to her since his voice was pretty much shot for now. He sighed softly and lowered his eyes again while he felt the gel cool his throat. Even that kind of burned for a second but after that it wasn't so bad and it started to make everything feel a little better. At least he'd trusted Aamori with the statement that it wouldn't hurt to ingest the stuff.

Aamori started to reach out and take the jar back when Nanashi handed it to her but stopped and brought her hand back to her side. "You should probably hold onto that. Just until you're throat is feeling better." She paused. "That stuff will more than likely wear off after a little while and if you've already got it, you won't have to ask for it." She gave a slight nod and then knelt down to pick up the glass that he had dropped. After she stood upright she looked back down at him. "...Oh! You probably shouldn't drink anything right away, after using that gel. What ever you drink would surely wash the gel straight into your stomach." Which of course would defeat the purpose and he'd have tasted the stuff for no reason. She then moved over to where LaRae had dropped her plate and glass and started to pick those up too before she went to the kitchen to give the dishes over to the cooks to be cleaned.

LaRae continued to sit there just watching. Of course she was still a bit worried and she hoped that Nanashi would be alright. Sure he gave a nod when she asked him if he'd be alright but that really looked like it hurt, especially with him coughing as badly as he was. She gave a small sigh when she noticed Aamori come over to her and pick up her dishes as well as Nanashi's glass. She'd meant to pick those up herself, but Aamori had beat her to it. She watched Aamori head to the kitchen for a moment before turning to look back at Nanashi. "...Maybe you should go rest for a while?" She said quietly.

Kyran watched quietly and gave a slight nod when Aamori told Nanashi to hold onto the stuff. That would save a trip to medical to ask for it should he be in need of it again while they were here. He also thought that rest might be a good idea after all of that, not to mention he was pretty sure that Nanashi probably wanted to get away from everyone. He was about to open his mouth to say something but his thought slipped his mind when he heard the entrance doors opening, causing him to turn slightly to look over in that direction. He wasn't all that surprised to see Yoichi was back already. Well, Yoichi had been gone for a short while which surely gave him more than enough time to give his report.

Yoichi hadn't wasted anytime in giving the report and hurrying back. Mostly because he wanted to make sure that Aamori hadn't taken off somewhere again. Quite a number of times when she was awaiting her punishment she'd snuck off and he'd had to go looking for her again. He was a bit relieved however when he entered the building to see that Hikari was here, now he just needed to find his sister. He started to walk down the left hall with the intention of going back to his sisters room to see if she was in there. He paused though when he felt someone grab a hold of his arm as he passed the kitchen. He was more relieved to see it was Aamori and she hadn't left the building. "I'm glad to see you stayed for once." He said with a small laugh.

Aamori released her brothers arm when he came to a stop and shook her head lightly. "You're awfully chipper for someone about to tell me my punishment..." She muttered. He really did look like he was in a pretty good mood, which was strange to her because she was so used to him being a little down when he had to give her such news. "...Should I be worried by your mood?" She paused. "What did they say?" She asked quietly.

Nanashi just lowered his hand with the little jar and nodded slightly to Aamori when she told him to hang onto it. He just looked back down to the container and put the lid back in it and then gave Aamori a nod when she told him that he shouldn't drink anything. That was a given, he didn't really need to be told. He looked over to LaRae when she told him that he should probably go rest. He just nodded again, not that he could really verbally argue with anyone right now. He didn't need to be told twice to go. He wanted to get away from all of them until he was over the embarrassment. He couldn't even sneeze right. He exhaled heavily through his nose and then started to gt to his feet. He kept the jar in his hand and looked back to LaRae for a moment before his attention turned to the doors when he heard them opening. He looked at him for a moment before he glanced back to LaRae again. He didn't know if she was coming with him or not, so he just started walking back toward their room. So much for going to the beach later. He had every intention of going to pass out for the rest of the day.

Hikari watched Nanashi get up and then looked back when she heard the doors opening. She sighed softly when she saw Yoichi there and then tilted her head slightly. He looked like he was in a better mood than the one he'd left in. She shook her head and then glanced over to Kyran for a moment befre she realized that Nanashi was already leaving. Well she guessed he would be alright for now. Finally she just turned and started over toward where Aamori and Yoichi were standing, partially because that was the direction she had to go in to get the guest room.

LaRae looked up at Nanashi when he stood up and watched as he started back towards their room. She thought she might just stay out here for a bit, let him rest. Though once she glanced towards the doors and watched Yoichi get snagged by Aamori she was starting to change her mind. She had nothing against Yoichi really but she didn't want to be stuck with no plan of escape if he decided to be all flirty again. She got to her feet and dusted herself off a bit before starting back towards the room her and Nanashi had been using.

Kyran watched when Aamori got hold of her brother and then looked back to Nanashi briefly when he started off towards the room. He continued to stand where he was for a moment until everyone had moved. LaRae had started after Nanashi and Hikari towards Aamori and Yoichi. He sighed softly and proceeded over towards Hikari.

Yoichi looked down at his sister and shook his head lightly. "No need to be worried, really." He said as he turned his attention a bit to Hikari when she neared. "Well, I didn't speak directly to the Elder but I did get orders of what she wanted done." He started. "Since I informed her that I only found Aamori in the library the punishment isn't all that severe." He said while looking over to Hikari. He'd purposely left out the fact that he'd found her in the library too. Mostly because leaving that out saved a little trouble for both his sister and Hikari. Besides there was no proof other than what he saw that Hikari had even been near that library. He turned his eyes back to his sister and smiled weakly. "As for punishment, the Elder said that if you can master the next ability within two days than she'll let you off with a warning." He paused. "She's only giving you this chance because she is aware of the job you were all given. Though she did also say that if you can't master the ability than you'll be confined to your room for a month, no questions asked. You'll only be allowed to leave that room for one on one training with Hisako and when that is finished you'll be escorted back to your room and the door will be locked." He said in a less than enthused tone. He really didn't care for his sister being grounded like that but when she did something she wasn't supposed to, that was usually what happened. "Also, should you fail and be confined to your room the Elder said she will appoint someone else to help with finding that relic." He paused. "So... you'll have two days from tomorrow morning to get that ability mastered." He said with a slight nod. His mood was better because he at least had managed to keep Hikari out of trouble and keep his sister from being punished too badly. Plus, the Elder was nice enough to give her a chance at getting off with nothing more than a warning. Though, he wasn't even sure that Aamori had tried to work on the ability she was told to master. So that may have been asking a lot of her.

Aamori didn't bother looking anywhere but at her brother. She really just wanted to here what the punishment was. She gave a sigh of relief hearing that Yoichi had been nice enough to not mention Hikari had been in the library too. At least that was good news. She continued to listen as Yoichi went on with what he was told. She sighed heavily once he finished and lowered her head a little. Of course the Elder would say something like that. She hadn't even tried to work on that particular ability and she'd never heard of someone mastering it in only two days. To her at least that sounded physically impossible. She was quiet for a few minutes, mostly just thinking about how she could even try to master it. She finally glanced up again and looked at her brother. "I guess I'll give it my best shot. The worst that will happen is I fail." She muttered. She was at least happy the Elder was going to give her this chance. Though she wasn't sure she liked the idea of someone else taking her place with the group should she fail. But at the same time, at least it wasn't like the group would be screwed for this clans relic.

Nanashi didn't bother to look back to see what was going on behind him, he just went straight to their room and opened the door, glancing back only once he had it open just so he wouldn't shut it in anyone's face. He waited for LaRae to get there and then continued inside, holding the door until she'd gotten in and then pulling it closed behind him. He still didn't make a sound as he went to sit on the edge of the bed, kicking off his shoes in the process of setting the container of gel on the night stand. He stood up an struggled out of his coat, cringing when he heard something tear as he was trying to get his wings out of it. The material had grown so thin in all of his clothes that it didn't take much to rip it, and he was getting frustrated with it trying to get it off. He sighed through his nose again and finally tossed it over onto the arm of the couch, not even bothering to chest what he'd torn, he was sure it was the slit for one of his wings. Finally he sat back down and then just fell backwards on the bed, letting out a quiet huff that caused him to again start coughing, though not quite as badly now.

Hikari slowed to a stop once she got near Yoichi and Aamori and just stood to listen. She sighed softly when she heard that he had left her out. She was at least grateful for that. She wasn't too thrilled at the idea of being searched. She continued to listen silently, raising an eyebrow at what the elder had asked Aamori to do. "...Just two days?" That hardly seemed like enough time to her but she sighed and shook her head when she said that the worst that could happen was that she would fail. "I don't think you will." she said softly, "Remember what Marius said...it was always the seven of us. You'll figure it out." That or something else would happen. She was pretty sure that either way Aamori would still be coming with them.

LaRae followed after Nanashi, not bothering to look back at all on her way to the room. She smiled slightly seeing as he waited, and kept the door open for her. She slipped inside and walked over to the couch to sit down. She watched quietly while he got his boots off and then struggled out of his coat. She gave a soft sigh after hearing his coat tear. She glanced over at the coat briefly when he tossed it over the arm of the couch. He was really in dire need of some new clothes. Well, except boots. The ones Kyran gave him were already new. Maybe she could see what Aamori could do about new clothes. If not her, then maybe Hikari could manage something when they made it to Glenys. That is if Nanashi's clothes lasted that long. She looked back to the bed when she heard him coughing again and sighed softly. At least it didn't sound as bad as it did when he first started coughing. She stood up from the couch and started over to the end of the bed and looked down at him. "...Does that happen every time you sneeze?" She asked rather curiously.

Yoichi glanced over at Hikari briefly and gave a slight nod. "The Elder believes that two days is more than enough time for Aamori." He paused and shrugged lightly. "That, and Aamori should've already been working on it. Or at least toyed around with it, so I'm told." He said as he looked back to his sister. "I wouldn't worry about it so much, Aamori." He started. "The Elder has faith in your ability to master it. And you've also got the rest of today... well... tonight rather to figure out how you want to go about it." He paused. "...You also know that Hisako and myself are here to help you too, should you need us for anything." He said as he set his hand down on her shoulder lightly. "Give it a little thought tonight, then relax a bit and get started tomorrow." He paused. "You're also allowed to leave here tonight if you like, of course with an escort. The punishment of being grounded to your room won't be in effect unless you can't master the ability." He said lastly before removing his hand from her shoulder. "For now, I think I'm headed home." He said with a faint smile before he turned around and started back towards the entrance. "Goodnight Aamori." He paused and turned slightly, "Oh, and you too. Hikari and Kyran." He uttered before continuing for the door.

Aamori glanced over at Hikari for a moment, giving a slight nod of acknowledgment when she mentioned what Marius had said. Even hearing that brought up really didn't help her believe that she could manage to master such an ability in so short a period of time. Then hearing Yoichi saying that she should've already been toying around with the ability, she merely sighed. Truth was she hadn't bothered with it. She thought she had plenty of time to learn it, and plenty of time to study it before she'd actually have to put mastering it into motion. She looked at her brother when he set his hand on her shoulder and gave another sigh. Why did he have to make it sound like some simple feat? It wasn't. After all these abilities were ones only Elders had mastered, or in her case Elders in training. By the time she was actually able to become an Elder she was supposed to have mastered all of the abilities. So far she had two down and this third one was only going to be harder than the last one. She watched when Yoichi started to head for the door to leave. She gave yet another sigh and started to walk towards the courtyard again. She just shook her head lightly as she made her way to the center stone of the courtyard. She plopped herself down in the center and hunched over slightly. Obviously she wasn't too thrilled in her current situation and she had very little faith in her own ability to master anything in two days.

Nanashi had his eyes closed when LaRae walked over to the bed, but he opened them to look at her when she spoke to him. He just stared at her silently and then took a deep breath and let it out through his nose again before he looked away, seeming embarrassed as he nodded. "....Only...when I sneeze..." he croaked hoarsely. "...I can't stop it...I don't know how it works." He raised his arm that was usually covered by his sleeve so that his elbow was draped over his mouth as he coughed again. It hurt to talk, but it wasn't like he could write her a note or anything... of course a simple shake of the head would have sufficed he figured she was probably a little more curious than that. On his upper arm was another nice set of scars much like the ones on his lower arm that was covered by his clothes. It looked as if someone had just sunk their claws into him and ripped them about halfway around his upper arm, the skin was lighter there and really stood out against his otherwise smooth copper skin.

Hikari sighed softly as she listened to Yoichi and then nodded politely to him as he left. "Good night." she responded to him before she looked back to Aamori. She remained where she was standing for now until Aamori started back tot he court yard then she sighed softly and looked back to Kyran. "...Go on to the room if you want... I'll be right there." she said quietly, placing her hand on his chest for a moment before she started past him and walked out to the court yard again slowly. She walked up to Aamori and hovered there for a moment before she reached down to place her hands on Aamori's shoulders like she had at the beach before she knelt down behind her. "...Hey...you okay?" she asked quietly as she rubbed her shoulders a little.

LaRae continued to look down at him while he answered her question. Of course when he moved his arm to cover his mouth she took notice to the scars. Though she had been given a chance to see them at least once before. They didn't really bother her that much, it wasn't like she'd never seen scars before. Then again, sure was sure that wasn't the worst of them. "You don't have to talk, you know." She told him as she moved around to the other side of the bed so that she could sit down on the edge of it. Sure she was curious about it but it wasn't like she couldn't wait until it wasn't such a pain to speak. She had briefly thought of other things she might ask him, about his sneezes of course but she refrained. If she remembered the questions, she could always ask when he was feeling better.

Kyran kept quiet throughout everything that had been said between Aamori and Yoichi. He looked briefly to Yoichi when he said goodnight and started to leave. Though his attention shifted easily to Aamori when she started back to the courtyard and plopped herself down. He looked down to Hikari when he felt her hand on his chest and he gave a small smile. "Alright." He said quietly. He watched her head towards Aamori before he turned and continued on to their room. He was a bit concerned with how down Aamori was after hearing what her brother told her, but he figured Hikari had that under control. He sighed softly when he reached the door and slipped inside. He had glanced to the door beside theirs for a moment on his way into the room. He guessed Nero hadn't been out of the room all day, or at least he assumed that since he hadn't seen him at all. Perhaps he'd just decided to take a day to keep to himself. He shut the door behind him and proceeded over to couch where he started to unbutton his vest and then fight his way out of it as carefully as possible. Once he had it removed he set it down on the couch and took his boots off before moving over to the bed to lay down on it.

Aamori glanced up when she felt hands on her shoulders. She smiled weakly to Hikari and then gave a sigh. "...Yeah ...I'm okay." She muttered. She was as okay as she could be. She was a little down after hearing what her brother said, though she imagined anyone could be if they'd known what ability she had to master. Sure the first one was simple enough, anyone who could produce water could master that one. The second, being a shield made of nothing but water that could be moved and broken into smaller shields, that was tedious but by no means that hard to learn. She gave a heavy sigh. This third ability was an actual summoning of a live creature of water clan myth for lack of better words. This easily was the hardest one she'd had to learn thus far. The last ability, she didn't even want to go there. At least not anytime soon. She shook her head lightly. "...I don't see me learning this and executing it properly." She started. "Summoning ...It just isn't as easy as everyone might think it is. Then you also have to learn how to control the creature that you've summoned ...all the while keeping an eye on your energy as to not let the creature drain it all from you." She muttered. "It isn't easy and I haven't even toyed around with the spell for summoning. Who knows if I could even manage to summon the right creature... let alone control it once I managed to summon it." She gave a heavy sigh. "The only reason I'm being given two days is because the current Elder was able to learn it in just over two days... She thinks that if she can do it, I can do it." She added lastly.

Nanashi nodded slightly whens he said that he didn't have to talk. He just sighed and shifted positions, pulling his legs up onto the bed and turning so that he was laying on the bed the right way instead of sideways. He closed his eyes for a moment as he rested his head on the pillow and then burrowed down under the covers. He really was just ready to call it a day already. He didn't plan to try dinner after that, that was for sure. He looked up to LaRae for a few moments before he sighed quietly and rolled onto his other side, facing away from her now. He just closed his eyes again and curled his fist up in front of his mouth, coughing quietly before he groaned quietly and just burrowed his face into the pillow. He wouldn't feel to bad if he could just stop coughing...and if nearly everyone in the group hadn't just happened to be walking by when that happened. It was really embarrassing. Young dragons from the fire clan might do that when they sneezed, but they didn't burn themselves with their own flames, and they could also learn to stop it from happening as they got older. The only way he knew how to stop it was to not sneeze.

Hikari listened quietly while Aamori spoke, continuing to rub her shoulders lightly. She bit her lower lip slightly when she heard what task she mad to master. She didn't think a summoning sounded easy at all. She didn't even know how to go about it. Her expertise leaned more toward healing...at best she guessed she could summon an arrow. She sighed softly and finally stopped with the massaging and just kept her hands on her shoulders. "...It doesn't sound easy... but apparently it can be done." she said with a soft sigh, "...I know it isn't worth much...But I believe you can do it." she said softly, "You're a smart girl, and you're resourceful. You'll think of something." she said with a smile, "...And I may not be much help, but I will do whatever I possibly can, alright? You're not all on your own." She wrapped her arms around her shoulders and gave her a tight squeeze, "Just start with the basics first... for tonight, why don't you try to memorize the words of the spell itself, and then work your way up from there. Tackle the easiest things first. You'll do fine." She said in her soft, reassuring voice.

Celestine had finally decided to return to the building. He'd clearly gotten over his irritation from this morning, but he wasn't too thrilled about the idea of spending the night on a park bench, especially when so many people seemed to think he was a pretty girl. He was a little sore from laying there so long anyway, but at least he'd gotten some time to himself to cool off and enjoy the wind, and there was plenty of that here. It was almost as breezy as the wind territory itself, so that was comforting. Besides...someone had to let Nobu back into the room. He closed the door behind him as he entered and started to walk down the hall toward the room that he'd been using, but he paused when he happened to glance into the center of the building and saw Aamori and Hikari out there. He titled his head slightly and walked up to the arch, looking in at the two of them. Aamori looked pretty down, but he couldn't say why. Hopefully she wasn't still obsessing over what he'd said this morning, though he knew he was probably just flattering himself thinking that. Something else must have happened while he was lazing about. He just stood there silently, waiting for Hikari to clear out before he went to see what was going on.

LaRae glanced over at Nanashi while he was moving on the bed and getting comfortable, or at least making an attempt at getting comfortable. She turned her head back and looked down at her boots for a moment before she reached down and started unlacing them a little so she could slip her feet out. She then started to lay herself down on the bed so that she was facing him. She wasn't really tired or anything at the moment but laying in bed with him until she was tired enough to go to sleep was a hell of a lot nicer than trying to find something to do outside of the room.

Aamori was honestly a little surprised to hear even Hikari say that she could do this. Sure the Elder said it and so did Yoichi. But of course Yoichi said it just because he was family. So hearing Hikari say it, she wasn't sure if she believed in herself after that or if she doubted herself more. Mastering this whole summoning ability would've been a lot easier had there not been a deadline. Not to mention she had a lot weighing on her mastering this skill in time. She gave a heavy sigh after Hikari gave her a tight squeeze and then nodded lightly. She could probably stand to start with memorizing the words to the spell. She had a rudimentary knowledge of the spell but by no means was it perfectly memorized. That alone she could spend the two days memorizing it. These spells after all, took lengthy chants that had to be said perfectly and without interruption. She wanted to believe that she could manage this, especially since some people believed she could do it but the doubt weighed heavier than her belief in herself. Any and all belief in herself had been wavering anyway considering her inability to use her combat knowledge in an actual battle. She had been starting to feel more like a book full of information more so than anything that could actually use the information in a time of need. She was quiet for a few moments before she even thought to say anything to Hikari to acknowledge that she had heard everything she said. "...Oh ...yeah, I guess that would be the best place to start." She uttered quietly. If she had any say, she'd be more willing to say that this task was more punishment than being grounded to her room for any length of time.
