Yes yes, I know the rule on opposites. We had a girl in our class do really good monologues. She was laughing hysterically in one then crumpled on the ground in tears in the next. It was amazing!

I'm suddenly compelled to write a new play. I got so bummed out last year because my first play I wrote had been chosen to be performed at a local college, and then they couldn't do it because they couldn't find enough actors to perform my play and other local plays. I was so sad that I wasn't inspired to write anything new.

@Spoon: My first play was about a boy and his sister finding a girl in the woods who turns out to be a wood nymph. It wasn't a long play. Just one act.
