Wow, you just reminded me of The Pony Project. :'D I don't know if anyone mentioned it in this thread before, but when I first heard about it about 3 years ago or so, I was very intrigued by it. A bunch of female artists were given My Little Ponies and they were to create their own art piece on them. It's amazing. Two of my favorite artists were participating in it too, Junko Mizuno and kozyndan.

I think there are pictures of the different ponies around the internet too. :3 I always loved the idea of artists using children's toys as canvases. Do you have any pictures of your customized ponies, Sagitar? This thread really makes me want to do my own now. xD

I looked through the Pony fansite and remembered some of the specific Ponies I have in my closet. >w<

And the Pony Project wasn't a contest, it was a sort of collaboration with artists and they had their work for this project on display in a gallery. :3

I have a whole load of ponies on watch at Ebay at the moment, so my collection is going to get a little boost if I manage to be successful in my bidding XD

Oh I loved my little ponies as a kid! I had a whole bunch.
Even little ones, that were about the size of Polly Pockets.
I loved watching the show too. I preferred the earlier ones. But I do like My Little Pony Tales too. ^^'
The custom ponies would be interesting, but more so I think just cause it would be cool to play with. X3

I don't really like My Little Ponies. Watch it? I didn't even know it was a show. I did have one when I was younger, and obsessed with horses. But I only had the big, plastic horses. But I love some of the customs!

I have a friend whose little sister collects them. She even has a hot air balloon for them. Its not one that works for real or anything, but it plays the song. @[email protected] It gets stuck in my head at the most random times.

I used to have some ponies myself though it was a while ago. I do currently have two 'newer' ponies :]

There is a Bluebell I have my eyes on, just need to find someone selling Butterscotch and Snuzzle, and I'll have gotten the first lot of Earth ponies ^_^

I just like to customize ponies, and hopefully sell some of them to new homes, but I do have some soo cute ponies that I just can't bare to do anything for them *looks at her new Sundance* She's so perfectly preserved that I can't do anything to her! she's still totally white and her symbol is perfect. only the hair has tangled up a bit from her ends, but other than that she's good! =D too cute for customizing.

Well that's just the 1st year earths that will be complete, I'm a long way from getting all the ones I hope to get XD
I try not to spend too much on the very common ones, and I set myself a spending limit so I know I won't get carried away XD

I won the Minty! Spent nearly all my budget on it though =P
Unfortunately it's one of the rarer pricey ones, but it was in a very good condition, and I've been wanting Minty for ages

Oh, my! I think I have a Minty! I have a bunch of the old ones like Applejack, Masquerade and Lemon Drop.
