That kid needed a good smack in the mouth. I don't understand these parents who allow their children to run loose in stores and act like animals and when they finally get a hold on them, they allow the child to hit them. My kids never would have acted like that, they knew they would be in big trouble if they did.

Too many comments to quote.

To the ones who think a parent is neglectful if they tell their kids no and then let their child have their tantrum? Have children and then you can be a fair judge.

And saying it's all in the raising? Again have children before you try judging it.

I have two kids, a boy and a girl. Two very different personalities. Did I raise them differently? No. They're eighteen months apart so my parenting tactics remained consistent. But my son will... if tired and having of a bad day try to get loud in a store if I deny him something he wants. I let him have his tantrum. Because I'll give a clue to the ones who suggested hitting them in the mouth etc... it makes them scream -louder-. It's not an effective teaching method. Not to say I don't discipline my children. And not to say that my son doesn't get a stern reminder to remain quiet.

My daughter is completely opposite in that she's quiet and agreeable if I say, "Not right now."

So don't be so quick to judge a parents abilities when it comes to the child... it can also be personality.

Wow, that must have been some annoying kid. I'm glad that, that kid got his comeuppance D:<[freaking brat]. I hate when kids are annoying or just talk loudly. I mean I'm sometimes guilty of this, but not screaming. O.O Anyway this hasn't exactly happened to me, but I've had heard some kids scream in general. At those times I have my nerves put to the test >:/. Usually I'm thinking "Shut up, you're going to get punished by [insert authority figure here] anyway, so take it like a man!"
