Bwahaha. Im a pretty good buyer of arts n things. I pretty much leave the creations up to the artis/designer etc. :) I just give basics and images mostly and let them do their thanng :)

I just told a girl to find someone else on Gaia. I was making her a profile. She gave me a piece of art, told me that she wanted an about me, wishlist and her avatar showing on the profile. I asked her what she wanted in term of theme of whatever, and she told me anything, let the art speak for itself.

So I did. I didn't like the art piece, but it's what I had to work with.

Halfway through, I sent her a PM asking if there were any quotes or lyrics that she really liked so that I can include them. And she said something like "if there are quotes out there for carnivals, that would work" something like that. And I said "Wait, you want a carnival themed profile?"

And she said that she assumed that I would know that because the avatar art was eating cotton candy. I explained that the art wouldn't work in a carnival theme because the colours didn't match a carnival and due to the art not being mine I can't just change the colours. And she fought with me telling me that it WOULD work I just had to try.

So I told her I didn't want my name on something that I knew would look stupid. To top it off? I was making the profile for her FOR FREE. I wanted more samples so I took it on as a free sample. You're really going to fight with me on something you are getting custom made for free? I couldn't believe it!

It's Friday night and I am sitting at home, on the couch, alone, watching movies while I play on Mene and Photoshop 8D At least you are doing something with someone LOL!~ Thus far tonight I've watched, The Emperor's New Groove, Fast and the Furious, Fame and now I'm watching Fool's Gold. 8D

Let's see, we started off the evening when I got home from work and swore off the gym. We watched the rest of Iron Man 2 (left overs from last night), Captain America, Batman (with Michael Keaton, the one from the 80s), Kick Ass and now we are watching Down Periscope. My husband is playing the new NFL game on his PS3 and he has wrestling going on his laptop. We are wonderful multi-taskers.

Fools Gold...is that the one with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey? He's yummy.

That sounds like the PERFECT lineup! I have The Avengers, Kickass and Xmen picked out for the next ones 8D! I love multi tasking so that makes me happy haha! How long have you guys been together and been married for? Swearing off the gym on a Friday sounds like it's going to be a good Friday (or Saturday now if we're in the same timezone :P)

Yes that's the one! It's one of those movies that I can watch over and over again. I don't know what it is. He's VERY yummy (so is she for that matter!) I love the treasure hunt. I've always wanted to get my scuba license (and will!) so going treasure hunting in the ocean is just so appealing. I love it!

We watched the Avengers the other day, so we watched the other super hero movies. Chris Evans is beyond tasty! I'd lick him, a lot.
Rodd (that's the husband) and I have been together for almost six years and married for three years. He and I met on Yahoo Personals when he was in the Navy. I am originally from California and he is from New York, we had a bunch of things in common, helps that we are a week apart to the day, both born in 1984. We got married in June of 2010 and just after our one year anniversary we moved to Arizona cause I could transfer with my company and Rodd was out of the Navy and we needed some where cheaper to live. Arizona has become home...sort of. Not a fan of the heat.

Time right now is 10:34.

We will be going to the gym tomorrow morning to make up for today. We didn't go to the gym last night because I was pissed off and not feeling it. My manager at work decided yesterday was a good day to talk down to me like I am an idiot. Oh, really wanted to go off on her and today she acted like nothing happened. Not how I roll. Glad it's Friday on a holiday weekend, no work Monday. The joys of working for a bank.

Treasure hunting does seem like fun, but the whole nitrogen bubbles in the brain because you came up too quickly scares the hell out of me.

Oh WOW! That is an AWESOME meet story! Very romantic! I love modern day online dating and what not! So swank and quirky! Very happy for you . I went to Arizona in February and it was SO much fun! We were in Phoenix and I loved it. Definitely one of my favourite adventures. I fell in love with the constant backsplash of mountain.

UGH D: bad days at work ruin EVERYTHING! It just makes you want to rip someones head off or throw someone you're not fond of off the grand canyon or something. It's a holiday weekend here too! Monday off baby! Mene is going to be soaring with posters 8D Well except for everyone going back to school!

Haha yes that can be scary, but as long as you are doing it properly and safely you're fine :)

I felt bad for my husband the first time he met me. He also got to meet my younger sister and my father all in one shot. Surprised he stuck around after Amanda (the younger sister) chatted his ear off the whole time we were bowling an Adult/Junior tournament. We got coffee afterwards, stayed up all night talking in my car, made out a little, then I had to scram because it was 5 am and I needed a shower and to head to my parent's place since dad and I were teaching a class that morning. We've been together ever since that night, with the exception of when he was deployed in Afghanistan and Spain.

If you don't like extreme heat, don't come out to Arizona from Late May to the middle of September. We broil here, but the thunderstorms are intensely awesome.

Bad days for me just make me want to cry in frustration, cause that's how I relieve stress and pressure. Doing my best not to stress eat cause there is enough of me already without adding more.

True, anything fun can be dangerous, just have to exercise caution and have the right training for the activity.

What state do you live in? If you don't want to tell me, I completely understand.

Haha yes one of our coaches (Chris Wilson) is from Arizona and he told me how hot it gets..I couldn't imagine. Don't get me wrong it got hot in Brazil but I think it's a different kind of hot. When I was in Atlanta in June I melted. I couldn't stop sweating, it was so gross. I love the heat, but I don't like all types of heat I've decided. Thunderstorms however are the best!

Someone on this website once said "icecream cures everything except fat" - isn't it unfortunate that it's true? I would eat icecream every day if it wasn't fattening LOL

And many things that are dangerous can be fun 8D

Rodd has been out of the Navy for almost three years and currently, he is unemployed. It's become something we've had discussions about because I am tired of being the sole supporter of us and he needs to get out there and find a job, or go back to school. He's suppose to be going back to school, but is waiting for something specific from the military so he can enroll. Might have to put my foot up his ass again because true to a man, he doesn't communicate. Which is slowly driving me insane.

Arizona is a dry heat, with the exception of Monsoon season, which is right now. Lots of moisture in the air, hence the bitchin' thunderstorms. I'd take the heat here then the heat from the East Coast cause it's humidity all the time and you never feel dry there. My friend and her husband lived in North Carolina for awhile and I went to visit in late May...never again will I do that.

Try frozen yogurt, or even sorbets, they have less sugar and fat. Yum yum. There is a frozen yogurt place not far from our apartment that has a fantastic selection of flavors and the staff there are super nice. Might go there this afternoon and get some yogurt after we get done cleaning the apartment and swimming.
