I suppose.
You miss a lot on autopilot though.
I hate it when all of my days start to feel exactly the same.
:/

Aww.
That's too bad that you don't have any other types of classes.
I'm going to miss gym when I go to college.
It's nice to have a break like that and just play around.

I haven't watched Futurama in ages.

I'm not so much looking at avatars to tell the gender of the person as I am to satisfy my own curiousity. xD
I just always have to lean in and check and see which type of base it is.
>_<

Well, I think when I'm on autopilot. Then those days that would have been monotonous are left behind while I get lost in my thoughts. xD

True. Some science classes have labs, which can be fun sometimes. But then there are required classes like oral communications and you have to make speeches. x_x

I've seen Futurama too much. I know all the episodes from seeing them dozens of times. xD

Nice. Don't you end up regretting finding out that that person in the dress is indeed a man?

Aww.
I don't really like making speeches either.
I always feel like no one is really listening and it just seems pointless.

Haha.
Are you kidding?
I don't regret finding out at all.
I'm proud of myself afterwards!

It's easier if you can make it something you would enjoy talking about, or something amusing.
I did a persuasive speech about how Global Warming was a bunch of erred science blown out of proportion, and a ceremonial speech of a Sith Jedi convincing young padawans to join the dark side.

That works, too. I'm still afraid I'd come out of everything scarred in the end. I'd end up with nightmares.

Well, that's an interesting perspective.
I'm afraid that I'm not very creative with assignments like that.

Aww.
They aren't that bad, but just to be on the safe side you might want to only take quick glance at avatars from now on.
:3

I wasn't very creative at first, either. Actually, I did those because my friends said I should. My friends actually came up with every speech topic I did. xD

I'll keep that in mind, and try not to think too much. The less I know, the better. Which is how I remain so happy all the time. Nothing but air in the noggin.

Haha.
There isn't anything wrong with getting inspiration from friends.
^^

Too much thought can be just as dangerous in some situations...

Well, forgive me if I disappear in a bit.
It's after 10 o' clock here and my father still hasn't gotten home yet.
I might have to investigate.

Nescia: Of course there's nothing wrong with it. Best place to find things at time, isn't it?

Too much thought certainly is a danger. Haven't you ever second guessed yourself on an exam and found out the original answer was right?

Eek, that's never a good sign. I hope you manage to find him soon.
Good thing you're in forensics. D=

Mrs_beckett: Yeah, it's nice. And pretty friendly, eh? And a hearty welcome to you, too.

I'm still around.
I just made a phone call to somewhere where I thought that he might be.
I don't think it can be anything serious.
I'm probably worrying for nothing...

I do that quite a bit on tests.
Prep books always advise you to go with your first instinct and not change answers.
I always dwell on certain questions as I take the test and twist around the wrong answers until they make sense.
Dwelling is never good.
I'm not a big fan of multiple choice questions for anything besides math...
xD

Probably, but I know how hard it is not to worry. I worry myself sick all the time when something's going on with a friend. I take it he doesn't have a cell phone?

I have never gotten a question right on the second guess. Unless it was something with math and I had rushed the first time.
I don't mind multiple choice questions if the teacher can write in proper english. I keep getting these foreign professors who have such bad grammar that if you read it differently, you could justify all the answers.

Nope.
He doesn't have one.
So much for going to bed early tonight.
xD

Oh, wow.
That doesn't seem fair that you should be penalized for someone else's grammar mistakes.
I get answers right when I correct them occasionally.
I just like being able to write and defend my answer.
hehe

You can always do the sleeping on the couch thing.
Amazing, not everyone has a cell phone? We should teach those people with two to share. D=

Eh, the foreign kids in the class manage to get the answers right, somehow. Then again, they were the ones with the exams from other semesters.
I do try to do the correcting grammar mistakes on exams, but that one professor I couldn't even be sure what she was asking. They were those sentences written in such a way that a single comma could make all the difference. x_x

Jelacho: Thank you. And welcome to you, too.

Hey, jelachu.
^^

@Sleet- Well, I live in the boonies so cell phones don't work too well here to begin with.

I probably couldn't get hold of him even if he had one!

Wow.
That sounds like a really frustrating situation with the tests.
x_X

I have a teacher that phrases questions in class in a way that no one understands, but she writes well on exams.

I like your user name by the way.
I'm hoping for some sleet tomorrow morning...
A two hour delay from school would be nice.

Ahhh, that would make it a problem, then. Seriously, I never wanted a cell phone, but then I came to college and I can't live without it any more.

Yeah, you get used to teachers like that. I barely passed that class, I got lucky on the final, I guess.
Professors should seriously have to pass an oral exam to teach. It would make things so much easier if we could understand them.

And thank you, I came up with it years ago when I wanted a name tied to water. Actually, my favorite precipitation is hail, but Sleet sounded so much better.
It just seems expressive to me.

I like both names, yours and your mules. How did you come up with them?

I just have a tracphone.
I don't use it very often.
I can see how you would need a cell phone in college though.

Teachers have such an impact on school.
I always do so much better with teachers that I like.
xD

It is quite expressive.
I like simple word names like that, but with an image attached.

Thank you.
In my Latin class, my teacher gave everyone nicknames from Latin words and I was Nescia ("I don't know.") because I said that a lot when he asked random personal questions.
I always liked the sound of the name though so I used it for a site when other names that I wanted weren't available and now I use it pretty much everywhere.

"Entropy" is defined as a measure of randomness.
I just liked the sound of it and wanted to use it for a name.
^^

Yay!
My dad is home now.
I should probably go to bed.

Nice talking to you!

As long as it's enough to get you by, right?
And yeah, especially when I commute to and from campus.

I do much better with teachers I like, and especially subjects I enjoy. But the best factor is to have the teacher like you. From what I've heard, it can make a huge difference.

Thanks, I enjoy the name, I've used it on half the sites I've joined. It was taken on the other half. xD

Cute. It's a great name, and has a good story when curious people ask. I've always wanted to learn Latin, but I'm not a language person. ^_^;
And Entropy is great, too. I've always loved that word, never thought to use it as a name.

And it was a pleasure talking to you, too. Have a good sleep, I'll probably be heading out soon, as well.
Hope we can talk again in the future.

I've been lucky and had a lot of teachers like me.
xD

I like hearing the stories that go along with user names, too.
I don't really think that mine is very interesting though.

Sure.

Thank you, Sabrina. I've already seen just how nice people can be here, which is quite a change from most of the internet.

Nescia: That's great. I've had a very few teachers like me, most of the time I fade into the background and I'm lucky to be noticed. xD

Don't sell yourself short. It's a great name and I loved the story behind it.

Glad to hear that, I'll be looking forward to more conversations.
And I'll get around to exploring eventually. I'm just so cozy right here right now. xD
